Pełny tekst źródłaNew Caledonia (NC) is an isolated archipelago located in the Southwest Pacific off the coast of Australia, whose peculiar biota - characterized by high levels of endemism and an uncommon taxonomic composition - has long fascinated biologists. The debate around the biota of NC has mainly revolved around its origins, and notably about its age. In the latter part of the XXth century, the commonly held view was that NC could be described as a “Noah’s Ark” of Cretaceous organisms, having broken off the supercontinent Gondwana during this period and being isolated since. More recently, the advent of molecular dating and the appropriation of geological literature for the region changed this paradigm. With geological data suggesting that NC might have been submerged until the Late Eocene, along with molecular dating indicating that a majority of groups in NC are not older than that, the consensus was that NC was an oceanic island of which the biota could only have been established by long distance dispersal through the oceans. However, some groups in NC were consistently found to be older than the supposed emergence date of the island, sparking debate about this apparent paradox. Another main topic of this debate concerns the presence in NC of apparently numerous “relict” groups, organisms which are interpreted to be the last survivors of a biodiversity that has vanished from elsewhere. Much attention has been given to the importance of old (i.e. pre-late Eocene) groups to understand the origin of the biota of NC, since they can provide biogeographical scenarios explaining possible ancient colonization pathways to an otherwise younger island. In this framework, the Island Hopping hypothesis, which postulates subsistence of lineages on now-vanished islands has been repeatedly invoked, but seldom tested using phylogenetic data. In this work, I attempted to reconcile what is known about the origins of the biota of NC and its hectic geological history, which has only been partially considered by biogeographers. I studied two globally-distributed insect groups with a sizable diversity in NC and with putatively contrasted histories: the Eneopterinae crickets, which colonized the island after the late Eocene, and the Blattoidea cockroaches, which are ancient colonizers. Using molecular data - including some obtained from old collection specimens - I generated dated phylogenies for these two groups, and tested the role of the complex Southwest Pacific geological context, and notably the role of neighboring extant or vanished islands in shaping their current diversity. I also attempted to reappraise the geological record for the region, with a focus on the ancient history of Zealandia, the submerged continent of which NC is part.Finally, I discuss my results and the biogeographic interpretations that can be derived from the geological record, and attempt to provide a model to explain the current peculiarities of the biota of NC

Not possessing a conventional legal definition, collectible items meet on the one hand a list of assets coming from the tax legislation and on the other hand, the various criteria set by the tax instructions. It is clear that the asset management of collectible items is currently excluded from the patrimonial structures. However, owners of collectible items are regularly confronted with problems relating to the transfer of assets. Thus, it is appropriate to consider the various patrimonial techniques that allow one to reduce the tax burden on the transfer of collectible items

Pełny tekst źródłaThe Albums de la Pléiade are a French series of books born to promote the prestigious Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, published by Gallimard. The Albums display an identical appearance to the main series, but instead of containing canonical literature, they offer rich iconographic collections relating to writers, accompanied by short biographies. The Albums are given by booksellers as a gift for the purchase of three volumes from the Bibliothèque series during a specific two-week event occurring every year in bookstores in the francophone world, the Quinzaine de la Pléiade. Their rarity and the fact they cannot be bought separately make those books sought-after collection items. The aim of this analysis is to observe the generic makeup of the Albums de la Pléiade, which deploys itself by means of a mediatic structure that borrows from the family album, in order to establish what kind of image of authors and literature is projected by the series and its specific means of representation. Indeed, while the Albums’ authors claim to portray writers in a “never before seen” workaday light, the authors’ image construed by these books actually shows them as “geniuses” whose lives are inseparable from their literary creation. This representation contributes to the fetishization of the authors’ figures. Finally, this study will examine the way those writers’ images are being used as an advertising quality, seeing that the main function of these books is to advertise for the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade. Throughout this analysis, we hope to show how literary heritage is constructed in the francophone world by means of practices that seem rather unusual within the literary field

From the outset, in the case of collective procedures, all his rights including family ones would be taken into account to decide the outcome of the compagny. Family heritage rights and compagny rights in difficulty prove to have an indentity claim : the contractor's heritage. From the start, the application of both proceedings concerning a sole right may turn out to be conflictive. Having determined the extent of the creditor's pledge, a study is made of their rights to take out a lawsuit to adopt solutions diametrically opposed that the rights of compagnies in difficulty have stolidly applied. One would then propose re-organising the individual contractor's heritage starting with studying the concepts of power ans judicial universility, thus suggesting the bilateral re-establishement of réserved common rignts and recognition of regulation individual compagnies
