Streszczenie:
The methodological approach to the integral assessment of business environment security is developed in the article; the blocks of factors of business environment security are identified and the indices which affect the formation of economic security of entrepreneurship are analyzed. The integral indicator for assessing business environment security is based on 6 indicators, which are the most significant elements of the business environment formation: the availability of basic economic freedoms, the favorable organizational conditions for doing business, the state of political and legal system, the level (quality) of life, resource provision and infrastructure development, innovation development. A comparative analysis of the integral indicator of business environment security of Ukraine with the Baltic countries, Black Sea region countries and the Visegrad Group countries is carried out. The article identifies interdependence between the business environment security and the share of unprofitable enterprises. The functional relationship of the business environment security with the number of bankrupt enterprises and the level of enterprises losses is substantiated as well. The model shows that the increase of environmental security leads to the decrease of a number of bankruptcies exponentially. The negative and positive factors which influence the formation of economic security of entrepreneurship are revealed.

Streszczenie:
The requirement to address risk in the prevailing business environment has been accentuated due to the constraints of the pandemic. It is proposed that the nature of risk context has been fundamentally altered by the global events of COVID. This paper provides a perspective that is based on an exploratory study of the identification and addressing of risk, in terms of business projects.A review of the literature has been undertaken and the key themes for the study topic identified. A senior manager, who is responsible for risk management at a company that runs international projects, was interviewed in an empirical study. A thematic analysis was performed, employing an inductive approach, in this research into a single case. The aim was to contribute to the prevailing literature and enhance understanding of the post pandemic business environment, in respect of risk management. The principal questions concerning risk and risk management are discerned. The objective is to consider risk in the post pandemic environment, in order to improve understanding of the issues relevant to business. The requirement to address these issues is also covered, with an attempt to determine the main themes from the research, in order to assist practitioners. The use of technology to support business continuity and achieve business objectives during the pandemic is discussed. An articulation of Lewin’s change model is proposed to summarise this work and assist in the comprehension of the contemporary situation.

Traditionally, businesses that regard the natural world as “free” and “unlimited” have abandoned environmental considerations. Environmental considerations also act not only as the source of raw materials and energy to meet human needs but also act as the repository for human-generated waste. Because of this, business functions and their intrusion into ecosystems have frequently had unfavourable effects. Business produces dangerous products and causes pollutions that may result in many kinds of dangers. Therefore, it is the purpose of this study to review the interactions between business, the natural environment and environment ethics. Streszczenie:
The petroleum (oil, gas and LNG) business environment in 2020 was adverse. Two factors disrupted the foundations of the global oil and gas industry. First, the COVID-19 global pandemic caused an unprecedented reduction of demand that combined with high levels of production resulted in oversupply of oil, gas and LNG. This gap between supply and demand resulted in a collapse in commodity prices, reduced revenues and cancelling or deferral of investment. Second, societal awareness of the impact of climate change on planet Earth increased. Pressure to reduce carbon emissions and a concomitant societal-shift against carbon-emissions intensive petroleum-based forms of energy generation intensified. Many major players in the petroleum industry re-framed their strategies to focus on energy supply in general and in some cases plan to cease their exploration, development and production activities in the coming decades. In Australia, in part global factors manifested in the deferral of investment decisions on three LNG investments. The Australian Government signalled that gas developments would be a critical part of Australia’s post-COVID recovery and that management of abandonment and decommissioning liabilities would be a factor in the approval of transactions leading to a change in ownership. This paper will describe each of the factors faced by the industry in 2020 and frame the issues facing the petroleum industry in 2021 and beyond.

Businesses have been adopting every possible way to minimize their manufacturing cost in order to maximize their profit. Previously it was not a matter of concern for businesses to opt for some specified way of manufacturing, producing, marking and or packing so that the harmful impact on environment can be stopped. With the passing of time we are witnessing a world full of environmental problems like pollution, impure drinking water, poisonous crops and edibles. A huge amount of wastes is available everywhere to harm our earth in many ways may it be air, water of land. Thus there seems an urgent need to take some steps that may help to lessen such hazardous impacts on our environment. As business are an important part of our world it becomes a moral responsibility of all manufactures, industrialists and marketers to adopt the changing trends in their business which can help preventing our environment. The present paper tries to discuss some issues that are linked with finding out some new trends in business marketing and also suggests some views regarding better managements of waste material.

Streszczenie:
The development and efficient functioning of entrepreneurship is the basis of a market economy, as well as the key to the country’s innovative socio-economic development and growing competitiveness on an international scale. The formation of a transparent and qualitative business climate is an incentive for the efficient entrepreneurship development. The paper is aimed at identifying structural-institutional transformations in the business environment and their impact on the development of small businesses. The analysis of socio-economic parameters of the business environment is based on the elasticity method and the system approach, which have been tested on the example of cities in the Western region of Ukraine. Outlining the features of setting up the business environment and its functioning has provided the grounds for detecting major problems hampering efficient business development. The comparative analysis has confirmed a close relationship between socio-economic transportation processes and conditions created for businesses. The evaluation of institutional environment has confirmed that cities striving to improve transparency in climate regulation and urban environment management achieve the growing investment activity and positive dynamics of small businesses development. The calculated elasticity coefficients prove that the growing investment activity positively impacts the number of small businesses and the volume of products sold by them. However, the expected growth in employment was not achieved due to the high level of shadow activity on the labor market and migration activity of the population.

Streszczenie:
An important and difficult problem in the agricultural business is not only the production of crop and livestock products, but also their processing. Agricultural business has a great impact on the country’s economy in modern times. In the conditions of the modern market, there is an increasing demand for the study of the theory and practice of management accounting and its features in relation to a specific target audience. Among the variety of agricultural organizations that has emerged, the most important is to determine priorities in improving our own business in order to increase its efficiency and uniqueness. For reliable information and analytical support for agricultural business and management decisions, it is necessary to keep management records in organizations (production accounting, budgeting, management, planning, analysis, evaluation, abstraction, etc.). At the present stage of economic relations between business entities, it can be said that the success of any agricultural business depends largely on management accounting, which should point to the advantages, novelty and main features of the business that distinguish it from its competitors in the field of agriculture. The success of management accounting, as an instrument of the entire business mechanism of an economic entity, is currently determined by three main factors: purposefulness; systematic character; and clearly defined quality of information provision for management decision-making. Any management decision made in the agricultural business should be based on timely analyzed information on the macro environment, the environment and the microenvironment. Thus, management accounting gives impetus to the development of agricultural business on the basis of the studied factors.

For a progressive business, there are necessary projects. All business implements their growth strategic plan through the development of projects. The business projects can either be identified as financial or non-financial. Every type of project has its unique environmental challenges. These become amplified in the context of complex environments or when projects deteriorate to the point they should be killed or need recovery. This paper focuses on strategies how to sustain business projects in challenging environments. The pillars of all business projects are the project period, cost, and resources. Project environment challenges will always affect these pillars. To mitigate the environmental challenges the paper narrowed the scope to project identification/ initiation, planning, and implementation in order to successfully handle the project environment. Different types of environments are also discussed in this paper; macro, micro, and intermediate environment on how they affect business projects. All these environments are examined to highlight how best a project business can navigate successfully through its challenges. In an operating environment that is dynamic and highly challenging, business projects need to appreciate the importance of crafting and effectively executing strategies that can help them navigate the environment challenge to carry it through any unexpected and challenging eventuality. The paper concludes that good and sincere project identification/ initiation, and planning will ultimately ensure smooth project implementation through a challenging project environment.
