Autisme merupakan gangguan yang dialami sejak lahir ataupun saat balita. Gangguan ini merupakan kelainan perkembangan sistem saraf pada seseorang. Penderita autisme umumnya mengalami kesulitan dengan fungsi sosial, motorik, sensorik, dan kognitif. Salah satu penanganan autisme yaitu dengan melakukan terapi. Metode terapi autis yang paling sering digunakan sampai saat ini yaitu metode Applied Behavior Analisyst (ABA). Saat ini penerapan konsep permainan atau gamification merupakan salah satu cara untuk membuat penderita autism antusias untuk melakukan terapi, oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan membahas perancangan aplikasi game terapi autis pada empat bidang yang menjadi masalah bagi penderita autism yaitu bidang sosial, motorik, sensorik, dan kognitif. Rancangan aplikasi game terapi ini akan diterapkan pada sistem terapi autis yang menerapkan metode ABA yaitu sistem Ahada (ahada.info). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam proses perancangan game terapi pada penelitian ini adalah model Game Design Document menurut Adams Ernest. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan yang menyatakan bahwa implementasi konsep game pada sistem terapi autis Ahada dapat diterapkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Game Design Document. Pendekatan ini dinyatakan sebagai pendekatan yang baik untuk digunakan dalam proses perancangan game. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyatakan bahwa penerapan konsep Natural User Interface (NUI) dapat diintegrasikan dengan sistem Ahada untuk memenuhi kebutuhan terapi motorik.Autism is disorder experienced since the time of birth or infancy. This disorder is developmental disorder of the nervous system in person. People with autism generally have difficulty with social, motor, sensory, and cognitive. One of autism treatment is therapy. Autism treatment methods are most commonly used to date are Applied Behavior Analisyst method (ABA). Now, game concept application is one way to create enthusiasm for autism therapy, therefore this research will discuss about design of autism therapy game on four areas that become problem for people with autism are social, motor, sensory, and cognitive. The design of the therapy game application will be applied to autism therapy system that implements the method ABA, that is Ahada system. The approach used in the game design process of therapy in this study is Game Design Document by Ernest Adams. This study resulted conclusion that the concept of gaming on Ahada autism therapy system can be implemented by using Game Design Document. This approach is expressed as good approach to use in game design process. In addition, this study also stated that the application of the Natural User Interface concept can be integrated with the system to meet the needs motor therapy.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi awal kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis, proses pelaksanaan dan hasil dari bimbingan dengan metode terapi Applied Behavior Analysis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: kondisi awal kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis masih belum memiliki kontak mata yang fokus dan bahasa verbal yang bagus. Proses pelaksanaan bimbingan kepada anak autis usia SDLB dilakukan oleh terapis; Bimbingan kepada anak autis usia kelas vokasional oleh konselor;Bbimbingan oleh semua pegawai SLB Autisma Bunda Bening Selakshahati selama 24 jam penuh. Hasil bimbingan menunjukkan bahwa anak autis mampu memiliki kontak mata yang fokus dan bahasa verbal yang bagus. This study aims to describe the initial conditions of social interaction skills of children with autism, the implementation process, and the results of guidance using the Applied Behavior Analysis method. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: the initial condition of the social interaction ability of children with autism still did not have focused eye contact and acceptable verbal language. Therapists carry out implementing guidance for children with autism at SDLB age; Guidance for children with autism in a vocational class by counselors; Guidance by all employees of SLB Autism Bunda Bening Selakshahati for 24 hours straight. The guidance results show that children with autism can have focused on eye contact and acceptable verbal language.

Latar Belakang: Salah satu jenis anak berkebutuhan khusus yang banyak dijumpai adalah autis. Jumlah anak autis di Yogyakarta semakin meningkat, pada tahun 2008 dari 98.000 kelahiran terdapat 196 anak yang menyandang autis, kemudian tahun 2009 dari 100.000 kelahiran terdapat 200 anak yang menyandang autis dan pada tahun 2010 tercatat dari dari 202.500 kelahiran terdapat 205 anak yang menyandang autis. Salah satu gangguan yang terdapat pada anak autis yaitu keterbatasan interaksi sosial. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh story telling dengan media gambar terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial pada anak autis di Sekolah Dasar Khusus Autisme Bina Anggita. Metode Penelitian: Menggunakan metode Pre Experimental Design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 43 anak. Sampel berjumlah 15 anak diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon. Hasil: Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada tingkat kemaknaan 95% (α 0,05) diperoleh nilai hitung (p value=0,000). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh story telling dengan media gambar terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis di Sekolah Dasar Khusus Autisme Bina Anggita. Saran: Penelitian selanjutnya supaya menambahkan jumlah sampel supaya bisa digeneralisasikan dan menambah observasi perubahan tingkah laku anak. Kata kunci: Autis - Interaksi Sosial - Story Telling - Media Gambar ABSTRACT Background: One type of child with special needs has is autism. The number of autistic children in Yogyakarta increased. One of the disorders that exist in children with autism is the limitation of social interaction. Objective: To identify the effect of story telling with picture on autistic child social interaction ability in Autism Special School Bina Anggita. The sample was 15 children taken with purposive sampling technique. Analysis used Wilcoxon. Result: Analysis used Wilcoxon test at significance level 95% (α, 0,05) shows value count (p value = 0,000). Conclusion: There is an effect of story telling with picture on autistic child social interaction ability in Autism Special School Bina Anggita. Suggestion: Further researchers are suggested to add the number of sample to be generalized and add observation changes in children's behavior. The purpose of this study was to explore the process of fathers’ acceptance to their children with autism. This study used a qualitative approach. Three participants who are fathers of children with autism were involved in this study. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. This study reveals three themes, namely participants’ responses on their autistic children; the psychological experiences of having children with autism; and making efforts to accept their autistic children. In general, the result of this study shows that the participants have different experiences in raising their autistic children. This study also found various forms and aspects of acceptance that are experienced by participantsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses penerimaan seorang ayah terhadap anaknya yang menyandang autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Karateristik partisipan penelitian meliputi ayah yang memiliki anak dengan diagnosis autisme. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara semi terstruktur, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan 3 (tiga) tema yaitu tanggapan terhadap autism anaknya; pengalaman psikologis memiliki anak autis; dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencapai penerimaan terhadap anaknya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara umum ketiga partisipan memiliki pengalaman berbeda dalam merawat anak mereka yang didiagnosis autisme. Penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa bentuk penerimaan yang dialami partisipan serta aspek-aspek penerimaan partisipan terhadap anaknya yang autis..

Analisar na literatura a perspectiva dos irmãos não autistas acerca do Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA). Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo conforme o protocolo Instituto Joanna Briggs, em conjunto com a aplicação dos Itens de Relatórios Preferenciais para Revisões Sistemáticas e a extensão para Meta-Análises em Revisões de Escopo (PRISMA-ScR). As buscas ocorreram nas bases MEDLINE, SciELO, PUBMED e Bireme. Deu-se amostra de 14 artigos, publicados entre 2016 e 2023. A apresentação dos resultados foi apresentada por meio de duas categorias analíticas (1) sentimentos dos irmãos neurotípicos aos irmãos autistas e (2) função social da família no tratamento do autismo. Os irmãos de indivíduos com autismo participam desde o momento do diagnóstico, colaborando com os pais na adaptação da rotina, ocasionando restrições na interação social. Observou-se que esses irmãos vivenciam sentimentos de apreensão, inquietação e possuem escasso conhecimento sobre o autismo, mesmo compartilhando a proximidade com um familiar que manifesta tal transtorno.Descritores: Transtorno do Espectro Autista, Saúde Mental, Relações entre Irmãos, Relações Familiares. Perceptions of siblings of people with autism about autism spectrum disorder: a scoping review Abstract: To explore in literature the perspective of non-autistic siblings regarding ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). This constitutes a scope review in accordance with the protocol established by the Joanna Briggs Institute, combined with the utilization of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). Searches Were Conducted in the databases MEDLINE, SciELO, PUBMED, and Bireme. The qualitative analysis was conducted in line with Minayo's thematic analysis, encompassing a sample of 14 articles published between 2016 and 2023. The presentation of results was organized into two analytical categories: (1) emotions of neurotypical siblings towards autistic siblings and (2) the family's social role in autism treatment. Siblings of individuals with autism are involved from the moment of diagnosis, collaborating with parents in adapting routines to accommodate the family member with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), resulting in limitations in social interaction. It was observed that these siblings experience feelings of apprehension and unrest, possessing limited knowledge about autism despite their close proximity to a family member with this condition.Descriptors: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health, Sibling Relationships,Sibling Relations. Bahan penyerta adalah bahan yang dirancang sebagai pendukung pemanfaatan program televisi/ video tutorial yang berguna untuk membantu kegiatan parenting autis dengan metode Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) tingkat menengah (intermediate). Dengan dukungan bahan penyerta ini, diharapkan akan meningkatkan efektivitas pemanfaatan program televisi/video tutorial parenting autis. Pengembangan bahan penyerta ini dinilai penting karena bertujuan untuk membantu kegiatan parenting autis di mana anak autis juga memiliki hak untuk mengenyam pendididikan sebagai bagian dari perkembangan diri mereka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan bahan penyerta program televisi/video tutorial parenting autis berdasarkan model Dick dan Carey. Bahan penyerta secara umum dinilai bermanfaat untuk membantu orangtua, terapis, atau guru bagi anak autis, mengingat kekhususan anak autis, bukan pada faktor akademiknya melainkan pada faktor komunikasi dan sosial anak. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, ahli materi, ahli media, dan sasaran (guru, terapis, orangtua anak autis) menyatakan secara umum bahan bahwa bahan penyerta program televisi/video tutorial parenting autisme dengan metode ABA tingkat menengah (intermediate) yang sedang dikembangkan layak disebarluaskan.Suplement material was designed to support the use of television programs/video tutorial. Development of video tutorial supporting learning materials is aim to help autistic parenting activities with intermediate levels of ABA method. Parenting autism is important because children with autism also have the right to acquire education as part of their own development. This type of research is the development research. Autism parenting video tutorial supporting learning materials is developed by Dick and Carey model, and useful to help parents, therapists, or teachers. Because, children with autism given the specificity not on academic factors, but communication and social development. Based on the test results of expert content, media experts, and target consist of teachers, therapists, and parents of children with autism in general expressed that video tutorial supporting learning materials of parenting autism with ABA methods level intermediate is feasible to distribute.

Bangunan dan manusia adalah hal yang berhubungan. Perilaku manusia menjadi pembentuk arsitektur, tetapi arsitektur juga dapat membentuk perilaku manusia. Terutama untuk fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit dan juga pusat layanan autis memiliki perhatian khusus untuk penggunanya. Autisme sendiri menjadi perhatian walaupun tidak bisa disembuhkan, autisme dapat dilatih agar mereka dapat beradaptasi pada lingkungan sekitarnya. Perhatian khusus dapat didukung dari bentuk, sirkulasi, dan warna bagi anak autis. Unsur tersebut akan membantu mereka selama proses terapi dan juga bermain mengenal lingkungannya. Maka dari itu, bangunan yang dirancang harus dapat beradaptasi dengen perilaku – perilaku anak autis. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisa deskriptif yang dapat memaparkan, menguraikan, dan menjelaskan mengenai prinsip-prinsip pendekatan behavior setting dari arsitektur perilaku. Bertujuan untuk menjadi landasan ilmu bagaimana sebuah autis center dapat dikatakan adaptif dengan para pasien autis karena sifatnya sebagai pusat terapi harus mendukung setiap elemen yang dapat terciptanya sebuah efektivitas dalam terapi. Identifikasi dilakukan melalui studi kasus Autis Center di Bontang dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ditujukan untuk menghasilkan rangkuman pola pembentuk behavior setting yang dapat diterapkan pada perancangan fasilitas Autis Center di Bontang. Jurnal ini akan menjabarkan bagaimana hubungan antara perilaku anak autis dan bangunan kepada efektivitas mereka dalam proses terapi dengan objek yang sudah terbangun yaitu Autis Center di Bontang.Buildings and people are related. Human behavior forms architecture, but architecture can also shape human behavior. Especially for health facilities such as hospitals and also autism service centers have special attention for their users. Autism itself is a concern even though it cannot be cured, autism can be trained so that they can adapt to the surrounding environment. Special attention can be supported from the shape, circulation, and color for children with autism. These elements will help them during the therapy process and also play to know their environment. Therefore, the building that is designed must be able to adapt to the behavior of autistic children. The research method used is descriptive analysis which can describe, describe, and explain the principles of the behavior setting approach of behavioral architecture. Aims to be the basis of knowledge on how an autistic center can be said to be adaptive to autistic patients because of its nature as a therapy center that must support every element that can create an effectiveness in therapy. Identification is done through a case study of the Autism Center in Bontang with descriptive analysis method. The aim of this research is to produce a summary of patterns of behavior setting that can be applied to the design of the Autism Center facility in Bontang. This journal will describe how the relationship between autistic children's behavior and building to their effectiveness in the therapy process with an object that has been built, namely the Autism Center in Bontang.

Abstract. Individuals with autism often face difficulties in social interactions and socio-emotional development, which can be influenced by societal stigma surrounding this condition. Stigma may arise from misconceptions and myths about autism. This research aims to investigate public perceptions, triggering factors of stigma, and their impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Indonesia. The primary data sources are scientific journals, articles, and academic materials discussing stigma towards autistic children in Indonesia. Thematic analysis was employed to identify common patterns related to public perceptions, triggering factors of stigma, and the impact of stigma on autistic children. The research findings indicate that stigma towards autism is not only public but also internal (self-stigma) and involves close associates (affiliation stigma). Stigma's impacts include difficulties in seeking assistance, hindrances in recovery, discrimination, limited opportunities, inhumane treatment, social isolation, and mental health issues. Factors such as gender, age, culture, prior experiences, and knowledge about autism influence the occurrence of stigma. Accurate understanding of autism is crucial in addressing stigma in this study. Efforts are needed to raise public awareness, dispel prevalent myths, and provide better support for individuals with autism and their families. With these measures, it is hoped that the negative impact of stigma on the lives of children with ASD in Indonesia can be reduced. Abstrak. Individu dengan autisme sering mengalami kesulitan dalam interaksi sosial dan perkembangan sosio-emosional, yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh stigma masyarakat terhadap kondisi ini. Stigma dapat berasal dari persepsi yang keliru dan mitos seputar autisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki persepsi masyarakat, faktor-faktor pemicu stigma, dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan anak-anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di Indonesia. Sumber data utama berasal dari jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan sumber-sumber akademis yang membahas stigma terhadap anak-anak autis di Indonesia. Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola umum terkait persepsi masyarakat, faktor-faktor pemicu stigma, dan dampak stigma pada anak-anak autis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stigma terhadap autisme tidak hanya bersifat publik, tetapi juga internal (self-stigma) dan melibatkan orang-orang terdekat (stigma afiliasi). Dampak stigma mencakup kesulitan mencari bantuan, hambatan dalam pemulihan, diskriminasi, kurangnya peluang, perlakuan kurang manusiawi, isolasi sosial, dan masalah kesehatan mental. Faktor-faktor seperti jenis kelamin, usia, budaya, pengalaman sebelumnya, dan pengetahuan tentang autisme memengaruhi terjadinya stigma. Dalam penelitian ini pemahaman yang akurat mengenai autisme untuk mengatasi stigma. Upaya perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, mengoreksi mitos yang berkembang, dan memberikan dukungan yang lebih baik kepada individu dengan autisme dan keluarganya. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif stigma terhadap kehidupan anak-anak dengan ASD di Indonesia.

The present study examines the conversational turn-taking patterns in autist-neurotypical talk. The objective of the study is to find out the distinctive features of autist-normal conversations. This study is cross-sectional, descriptive and qualitative in its nature. Recordings are done in anautism center in Lahore for a period of ten days. It is mainly a qualitative study in its nature. Five autistic children of different ages are selected from an autism center in Lahore. The data for the study is collected through video recording of the conversations between autists and speech therapists. The sample is selected through convenient sampling and analysis is done by following the methods of conversation analysis. The results of the analysis highlight certain distinct features of autist child-therapist talk which are not observed in the normal ordinary conversation. However, there is not a total violation of the conversation rules on the part of autists. Moreover, the findings of the research show that conversational patterns in autist-normal conversation are also affected by the chronological age of the autists. Finally, the research concludes that conversation analysis can be used as a tool for the identification of autism.

<p><em>One of the causes of autism are environmental factors contaminated by toxic substances, food, nutrition, and as a result raksenasi. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parents applying compliance gluten and casein-free diet (GFCF) by the behavior of children with autism in Bukittinggi SLB AlIkhlas 2015 years.Design of this study was cross-sectional, this research has been carried out in July 2015. The number of samples in this study as many as 47 parents of children with autism who are undergoing training in Autism Special SLB Al-Ikhlas London in 2015. Tools used to collect data in the form of questionnaires. This study uses a Chi-Square test of univariate data analysis of data obtained more than half of the 57,4% perents dutifully implement the gluten and casein free diet (GFCF) , Less than half of the 44,7% of respondents have good behavior and bivariate data analysis p= 0,034 smaller than 0,05 there is a relationship of parents applying a gluten and casein free diet (GFCF) by the behavior of children with autism. Suggestion in this research is need to develop research about influence of gluten-free diet and casein (GFCF) on autism child development as one of intervention given by health worker for deeper study and number of samples more so that accuracy of result of research more guaranteed.</em></p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK </strong>Salah satu faktor penyebab autis yaitu faktor lingkungan yang terkontaminasi oleh zat-zat beracun, pangan, gizi, dan akibat raksenasi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan orang tua menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK) dengan perilaku anak autis di SLB Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi tahun 2015. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional, penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2015. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 47 orang tua dari anak autisme yang sedang menjalani pendidikan di SLB Khusus Autis Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi pada tahun 2015. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dari analisa data didapatkan data univariat lebih dari separuh yaitu 57,4% orang tua patuh menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK), kurang dari separuh yaitu 44,7% responden memiliki perilaku yang baik dan hasil analisa data bivariat didapatkan p=0,034 lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu ada hubungan kepatuhan orang tua menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK) dengan perilaku anak autis. Saran pada penelitian ini adalah perlu dikembangkannya penelitian mengenai pengaruh dari diet (DBGK) terhadap perkembangan anak autisme sebagai salah satu intervensi yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan untuk kajian yang lebih dalam dan jumlah sampel yang lebih banyak sehingga keakuratan hasil penelitian lebih terjamin.</p>

O estudo é uma análise da assistência da equipe multiprofissional que atua em uma instituição especializada com crianças com Transtorno Global do Desenvolvimento: Autismo. O autismo é considerado uma alteração em que a criança desenvolve dificuldades de comunicação, apresenta comportamentos repetitivos e dificilmente estabelece relações sociais, o que se caracteriza como um desafio para equipe. Ainda são poucas bibliografias atualizadas sobre a atuação dos profissionais frente ao autismo infantil, ou sobre autismo, obtendo-se a grande maioria das bibliografias da década de 90. Portando está realidade resultou no interesse de investigar mais sobre o assunto com o desejo de aprofundar os conhecimentos frente à assistência para criança com autismo, buscando formas e meios para auxiliar a assistência prestada pela equipe multiprofissional, e também com o objetivo de identificar a atuação da equipe multiprofissional frente ao autismo infantil. É um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, baseado em análise de dados, levantada e obtida através de uma entrevista semiestruturada com 10 profissionais que atuam em uma instituição de ensino para crianças com autismo de um município do Extremo Sul Catarinense. A análise de dados foi realizada a partir da análise de conteúdo, categorização dos dados, ordenação, classificação e análise final dos dados pesquisados. Tendo como resultado a atuação da equipe multiprofissional em exercer intervenções que auxiliam o portador de autismo a reduzir a incidência de comportamentos inadequados, essas intervenções são realizadas através de métodos para alcançar os objetivos de ensino aprendizagem, auxiliar na interação social e estimular as limitações que as crianças autistas possuem.Palavras-chave: Autismo infantil. ABSTRACT: The study is an analysis of the assistance of the multidisciplinary team in a specialized institution with Global Developmental Disorder children: Autism. Autism is considered a change in which the child develops communication difficulties, repetitive behaviors and features hardly establishes social relations, what is characterized as a challenge for the team. Yet few bibliographies updated about the activities of professionals facing the infantile autism or autism, with the vast majority of the bibliographies of the 90. Porting's reality resulted in the interest of investigating more about this with the desire to deepen the knowledge forward to assistance for children with autism, seeking ways and means to assist the assistance provided by the multidisciplinary team, and also to identify the activities of the multidisciplinary team in front of the infantile autism. Is a qualitative study, based on data analysis, lifted and obtained through a semi-structured interview with 10 professionals working in an educational institution for children with autism to a city in the extreme south of Santa Catarina. The analysis data were collected from content analysis, categorization of data, sorting, grading and final analysis of the data searched. Resulting in the multidisciplinary team in exercise interventions that assist the bearer of autism to reduce the incidence of inappropriate behaviors, these interventions are performed through methods to achieve the goals of teaching and learning, assist in social interaction and stimulate the limitations that autistic children have.Keywords: Infantile autism. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogis guru dalam pembelajaran seksual pada anak autis usia remaja di SLB Fajar Nugraha Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif yang terdiri dari mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melaksanakan kompetensi pedagogis dalam pembelajaran seksual anak autis usia remaja sesuai Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 74 Tahun 2008 tentang Guru dalam Pasal 3 Ayat 4. Guru mengetahui landasan pendidikan seksual dan pentingnya pembelajaran seksual untuk anak autis. Guru juga memahami karakter anak autis usia remaja dan mengembangkan program pembelajaran seksual sesuai karakter anak autis usia remaja. Guru melaksanakan pembelajaran seksual dengan menggunakan berbagai variasi metode dan media. Guru juga memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran seksual untuk anak autis, namun pemanfaatan teknologi elektronik belum optimal. Guru melaksanakan evaluasi dalam pembelajaran seksual dan mengembangkan perilaku seksual pada anak autis usia remaja dengan pembiasaan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: kompetensi pedagogis, pembelajaran seksual, autisAbstract: This study aims to know about teacher pedagogical competences in sexual learning for adolescents with autism at Fajar Nugraha Special School of Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The data is collected by observation, interview, and document analysis. Data analysis in this research is qualitative analysis that contains data reduction, data display, and verification. The data validity in this research is technical triangulation and sources triangulation. The result of this research shows that subjects understand and implement the pedagogical competences in sexual learning for adolescents with autism that is accordance with The Regulation of Government 74 Year 2008 Abour Teacher, Article 3, Verse 4. The teachers know the foundation and importance of sexual learning for autism. The teachers know characteristics of adolescents with autism and develop the sexual learning program according to the characteristics of adolescents with autism. The teachers use various methods and medias in sexual learning. The teachers also use the technology in sexual learning for adolescent with autism, but using electronical technology hasn’t be optimized. The teachers evaluate the results learning from sexual learning and develop sexual behavior to adolescent with autism by habituation in daily life.Keyword: pedagogical competence, sexual learning, autism

Autisme adalah gangguan otak pada perkembangan pervasif pada anak yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan dan keterlambatan dalam bidang kognitif, imajinasi, bahasa, perilaku, komunikasi, dan interaksi sosial. Berdasarkan data Yayasan Autis Indonesia tahun 2013, di Kota Palangka Raya Kalimantan ada 250 ribu orang, 20% diantaranya atau sekitar 50.000 adalah anak-anak dan diperkirakan 100 anak menderita autism. E-Therapy Autism Child with Multimedia Approach (EAMA) merupakan e-therapy yang diciptakan oleh peneliti, di dalamnya memuat juga unsur e-learning. EAMA berupa software aplikasi multimedia, gabungan dan pengembangan dari terapi autis metode Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) dan Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH). EAMA memfasilitasi intervensi untuk afektif, dan peningkatan kemampuan psikomotor. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Khusus Melati Ceria (SKMC) Kota palangka Raya, jumlah sampel 30 orang, dengan total sampling. Desain eksperimen murni dengan one group pre and post test yang mengukur tingkat kemampuan psikomotor dan afektif anak autis, sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan aplikasi EAMA dirancang oleh peneliti. Uji analisis statistik dengan wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat psikomotor, sebelum dan sesudah diberi metode EAMA (p=0,000<0,05) dan Z(-4,899), maka ada pengaruh metode EAMA dengan tingkat psikomotor sebelum dan sesudah pemberian metode EAMA. Pada tingkat afektif, diperoleh nilai (p=0,000<0,05) dengan nilai Z= -5,292, ada pengaruh pemberian metode EAMA dengan peningkatan nilai afektif pada anak autism

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Glenn Doman method stages 1 and 2 on the development of autistic children’s thinking in autis center Bengkulu.The research design was quasi experiment using two group before after or pre test and post test design group. The result showed that in univariate analysis, it was found that the majority male with speech ability in control group and treatment group is quite capable before being treaten through Glenn Doman theraphy stage 1 and 2. Then the development of the majority treatment group is increasing to capable. In bivariate analysis, it was found out that there was a significant effect of Glenn Doman therapy stage 1 and 2 on the development of autism children communication in autis centre Bengkulu with value p 0,000 < 0,0. Considering the importance of the development of children communication, especially children with autism, autism center Bengkulu is willing improve the method of Glenn Doman stages 1 and 2 in the process of education for children with autism. Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas terapi Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) dalam membantu perkembangan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus, terutama yang mengalami gangguan spektrum autisme. Terapi ABA berfokus pada penguatan perilaku positif dan mengurangi perilaku yang tidak adaptif melalui pendekatan terstruktur dan sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka atau kajian literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai literatur terkait penerapan ABA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ABA efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan sosial, komunikasi, dan perilaku adaptif pada anak-anak dengan autisme, terutama ketika diterapkan secara konsisten dan dini. Dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga serta intervensi tepat waktu menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan terapi ini. Kesimpulannya, ABA merupakan pendekatan yang signifikan dalam membantu anak-anak autisme mencapai potensi mereka, meskipun membutuhkan komitmen jangka panjang. This study examines the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in helping the development of children with special needs, especially those with autism spectrum disorders. ABA therapy focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors and reducing non-adaptive behaviors through a structured and systematic approach. This study uses a qualitative method through literature study, by analyzing various literature related to the application of ABA. The results showed that ABA was effective in improving social, communication, and adaptive behavior skills in children with autism, especially when applied consistently and early. Support from the family environment as well as timely intervention are important factors in the success of this therapy. In conclusion, ABA is a significant approach in helping children with autism reach their potential, even if it requires a long-term commitment.

The Google Play Store provides various user reviews that can provide information about user experience, usability, and accessibility. Despite multiple studies addressing these reviews’ importance and contributions to improving interactive systems, accessibility for users with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is still little discussed in this context. Considering the potential of user reviews, this article presents a textual analysis of reviews extracted from eight educational applications available in Portuguese with a focus on autistic children, namely: “ABC Autismo”, “Aprendendo com Biel e seus amigos”, “AutApp Autismo”, “Autismo projeto integrar”, “Jade Autismo”, “Matraquinha”, “OTO (Olhar Tocar Ouvir)” and “Teacch.me”. We conducted an analysis based on the Guidelines for Accessible Interfaces for People with Autism (GAIA) and the BBC Mobile Accessibility Guidelines to classify user reviews.

Autism is one group of neurological disorder that affects one’s communication skills, social interaction and repetitive and stereotype behavior. Due to their behavior, they tend to have obsessive interest, no empathy and moral reasoning. Previous cases in Western countries show that some of them are also involved with serious criminal offences such as killing, arson, random shooting, cybercrime and sexual offences. In Malaysia, increasing amount of autism with the ratio of 1 to 68 of normal or mentally sound individual resulted in the necessity to address specific legal rights of autism who may involve in criminal. Meanwhile, the standard operation procedure (SOP) used during detention and interrogation procedure of mentally sound individual is also applied towards any suspect including individual with autism. The enforcement of the SOP eventually lead to arises of various problems, reaction and question from the aspect of the validity of the action and legal rights of autism. The objective of the study is to analyze the character of autism that tends to criminal’s behavior and the need to create specific SOP for detention and interrogation of individual with autism. The research framework is content analysis. The method of gathering data is semi-structure interview with police, senior counselor and psychiatrist in the field of autism as well as teachers of special education programmed. The implication of the discussion discovers the need to have specific SOP of detention and interrogation for individual with autism in order to guarantee criminal legal rights of individual with autism. ABSTRAK Autisme adalah satu kumpulan dalam kecelaruan neuorologi yang memberi kesan terhadap kemahiran berkomunikasi, interaksi sosial dan tingkah laku yang berulang-ulang. Tingkah laku mereka menyebabkan mereka obsesi terhadap sesuatu minat, kurangnya empati dan moral reasoning. Kes lalu di negara Barat membuktikan mereka terlibat dengan jenayah serius seperti membunuh, membakar bangunan, melepaskan tembakan secara rambang kesalahan siber dan kesalahan seksual. Di Malaysia, berlaku peningkatan bilangan autisme pada tahun 2018 dengan anggaran 1 nisbah 68 individu normal menyebabkan adanya keperluan khusus untuk mengkaji hak undang-undang mereka jika individu autisme juga mungkin terlibat dalam aktiviti salah laku jenayah. Prosedur operasi standard (SOP) dalam tangkapan, penahanan dan soal siasat individu tipikal setakat ini digunapakai terhadap golongan autisme yang terlibat dalam jenayah. Penguatkuasaan dan pelaksanaan SOP ini akhirnya menimbulkan pelbagai masalah, reaksi dan persoalan dari sudut kesahihan tindakan dan hak golongan autisme yang terlibat. Objektif kajian adalah mengkaji perilaku autisme yang cenderung kepada perlakuan jenayah dan keperluan mewujudkan SOP khusus untuk tahanan, penangkapan dan soal siasat individu autisme. Reka bentuk kajian adalah analisis kandungan. Kaedah pengumpulan data adalah temu bual separa berstruktur bersama pihak polis dan senior kaunselor dan psikiatri dalam bidang autism dan guru-guru pendidikan khas. Implikasi perbincangan mendapati perlu diwujudkan SOP tangkapan, penahanan dan soal siasat khusus untuk autisme bagi kegunaan pihak berkuasa seperti pegawai polis dan mahkamah untuk menjamin hak keadilan undang-undang jenayah individu autisme.

Autism, the full name of autism spectrum disorder, is a type of inborn, congenital, or onset in infancy, characterized by social communication difficulties, narrow interests, repetitive stereotyped behaviors, and sensory perception. In recent decades, the incidence of autism has been increasing worldwide. It is estimated that the average prevalence of autism worldwide is about 1%. Therefore, there is no doubt that autism has become a public health issue that has attracted great attention and attention from societies and governments around the world. It is also one of the key topics in neuro-medical research today, although many researchers have conducted corresponding clinical experiments on treatments for autism. However, there are still some unresolved problems in the treatment of autism in Chinese medicine. As a result, this article uses literature review and survey research methods, mainly studies and summarizes traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of autism and compares the shortcomings of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of patients with autism. And the treatment and popularization of autism still need to continue to be researched and promoted.

This study aims to describe the Mathematics Learning Flow of Students' with Inclusion types of Autism Needs in the Material of Addition and Subtraction of Numbers up to Two Numbers. This type of research is qualitative research. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself. Other instruments that support obtaining data are problem-solving tasks and interview guidelines to reveal the flow of students' mathematics learning inclusion types of autism needs. The subjects in this study were two students who included autism needs type, respectively male and female. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by providing problem-solving problems in the form of mathematical problems and being strengthened by conducting interviews, it was found that the type of autism needed with the category of High Functioning Autism followed every step of Polya’s problem solving and in the student's thinking process occurred assimilated. Meanwhile, children with autism needs with the category of Low Functioning Autism do not follow every step of Polya’s problem-solving, and in the process of thinking, this student is likely to accommodate a scheme about simple data that is clearly stated in the problem.(Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Alur Belajar Matematika Siswa Inklusi Jenis Kebutuhan Autisme Pada Materi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Bilangan Sampai Dua Angka. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pemecahan masalah berupa soal matematika dan diberi penguatan dengan melakukan wawancara didapatkan bahwa anak dengan kebutuhan autism kategori high functioning autism mengikuti setiap langkah pemecahan masalah menurut Polya dan proses berfikir siswa tersebut terjadi secara asimilasi. Sedangkan anak dengan kebutuhan autism kategori Low Functioning Autism tidak mengikuti setiap langkah pemecahan masalah Polya dan proses berfikir siswa ini cendrung mengakomodasi skema tentang data sederhana yang secara jelas dinyatakan dalam soal).

ABSTRACT Introduction The health and development of autistic children are very dependent on the active role and support of the family. Family social support is very influential on the development of children with autism, the provision of appropriate social support is expected to optimize their needs and improve their quality of life. Social support consists of emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and reward support. This research aims to see the description of the social support of families of autistic children undergoing a therapy program at the Pusat Layanan Autis Jambi Province based on predetermined aspects. Method This research is a quantitative research using the descriptive method. The research subjects were 48 parents of PLA Jambi Province students obtained by thetotal sampling technique. Data collection is done online using Google Forms. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis with the help of the JASP application. Results The results showed that of the 48 respondents, 39 people (81.3%) had provided social support in the good category, 9 respondents (18.7%) had provided social support in the fairly good category and 0 respondents (0.0% ) has provided social support in the poor category. Conclusions and Recommendation Reward support is the biggest support given by parents to their children who have autism disorders in undergoing the PLA therapy program in Jambi Province. ABSTRAKPendahuluan Kesehatan dan perkembangan anak dengan gangguan autisme sangat bergantung pada peran aktif dan dukungan dari keluarga. Dukungan sosial keluarga sangat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak dengan gangguan autisme, memberikan dukungan sosial yang tepat diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kebutuhan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Dukungan sosial terdiri dari dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental, dukungan informasi, dan dukungan penghargaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap anak autis dalam menjalani program terapi di Pusat Layanan Autis Provinsi Jambi berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang telah ditentukan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 48 orang tua peserta didik PLA Provinsi Jambi yang diperoleh dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online menggunakan google form. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dengan menggunakan bantuan program aplikasi JASP. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 48 responden, sebanyak 39 orang (81,3%) sudah memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori baik, 9 orang responden (18,7%) memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori cukup dan 0 orang responden (0,0%) memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori buruk. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Dukungan penghargaan merupakan dukungan paling besar yang diberikan oleh orang tua kepada anaknya yang mengalami gangguan autisme dalam menjalani program terapi di PLA Provinsi Jambi. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the developmental disorders commonly found in children. Parenting a child with autism is challenging. Parents, especially mothers, play a crucial role in raising children with autism, but mothers often experience difficulties and high levels of stress. This underscores the need for parenting self-efficacy to support their caregiving. Parenting self-efficacy is influenced by several factors, one of which is social support. This study aims to examine the influence of social support on the parenting self-efficacy of mothers of children with autism. Additionally, it seeks to identify the significant sources of social support that affect the parenting self-efficacy of mothers with children with autism. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach involving 79 mothers in Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaires containing the Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) distributed online. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The analysis revealed that social support influences the parenting self-efficacy of mothers of children with autism. Furthermore, it was found that support from partners is a significant source of social support affecting the parenting self-efficacy of mothers. This research emphasizes the importance of parental cooperation in raising children with autism. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) merupakan salah satu gangguan perkembangan yang banyak ditemukan pada anak-anak. Pengasuhan bagi anak penyandang autisme merupakan sesuatu yang menantang. Orang tua, khususnya ibu, memiliki peranan penting dalam pengasuhan anak penyandang autisme, tetapi ibu seringkali mengalami kesulitan dan tingkat stres yang tinggi. Hal ini mendorong kebutuhan akan adanya parenting-self efficacy untuk mendukung pengasuhan mereka. Parenting self-efficacy dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah dukungan sosial. Melalui penelitian ini, ingin diketahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu yang memiliki anak penyandang autisme. Kemudian, ingin diketahui sumber dukungan sosial yang berperan secara signifikan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu dari anak penyandang autisme. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 79 ibu di Indonesia. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang memuat instrumen Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang disebarkan secara daring. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa dukungan sosial berperan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu dari anak penyandang autisme. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa dukungan dari pasangan merupakan sumber dukungan sosial yang dapat berperan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kerjasama orang tua dalam pengasuhan anak penyandang autisme.

Tingkat stres yang tinggi pada orang tua dapat mengganggu emosi mereka pada anak. Emosi yang tidak terkendali dapat menyebabkan anak memiliki harga diri yang rendah dan menarik diri dari lingkungan. Dampak negatif ini dapat diminimalisir ketika orang tua memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecerdasan emosional orang tua anak autis di Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif survei menggunakan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling, yang melibatkan 91 orang tua sebagai responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas orang tua dari anak-anak dengan autisme memiliki tingkat kecerdasan emosi yang sedang (72,5%). Temuan dalam penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan oleh para pemangku kepentingan untuk memberikan dukungan program kepada orang tua untuk berbagi pengalaman dan memberikan dukungan di antara orang tua anak-anak dengan autisme.Kata Kunci: Autis, kecerdasan intelektual, orang tuaDescribe the Emotional Intelligence of the Parents of Children with AutismAbstractParents of children with autism have higher stress than those who have children with other special needs. High levels of stress in these parents can disturb their emotion towards the children. An uncontrolled emotion can caused the children to have a low self-esteem and withdraw themselves from their environment. These negative impacts can be minimized when the parents have good emotional intelligence. This study aimed to describe the emotional intelligence of the parents of children with autism in Semarang. This study used descriptive design of the survey using a questionnaire of emotional intelligence. The sampling technique used was total sampling, which involved 91 parents as the respondents. The data were analyzed using univariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of the parents of children with autism had a moderate level of emotional intelligence (72.5%). The findings in this study are expected to be a consideration by the stakeholders to provide program support to parents to share experiences and provide support among those parents of children with autism.Key Words: Autism, Emotional intelligence, parent

This research study posed one specific question: does childhood autism as a condition directly hurt the mental well-being of parents whose children have autism? To answer the question, the researcher performed a content analysis of existing literature on the subject. The general answer the researcher found is that, indeed, the condition of childhood autism impairs parents’ mental health. This study established that, in most cases, a child with autism’s primary caregiver is their father or mother. This study using content analysis of existing research, confirms that caring for an autistic child contributes to poorer mental health among parents. Even though this study finds no variation in the extent of mental health impacts on fathers and mothers, mothers are more susceptible to mental health deterioration. Therefore, it makes sense to investigate the impacts of childhood autism condition on the psychological wellbeing of parents with autistic children.

Three methods of nonlinear time series analysis, Lempel–Ziv complexity, prediction error and covariance complexity were employed to distinguish between the electroencephalograms (EEGs) of normal children, children with mild autism, and children with severe autism. Five EEG tracings per cluster of children aged three to seven medically diagnosed with mild, severe and no autism were used in the analysis. A general trend seen was that the EEGs of children with mild autism were significantly different from those with severe or no autism. No significant difference was observed between normal children and children with severe autism. Among the three methods used, the method that was best able to distinguish between EEG tracings of children with mild and severe autism was found to be the prediction error, with a t-Test confidence level of above 98%.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is an early developmental disorder characterized by mutation of enculturation associated with attention deficit disorder in the visual perception of emotional expressions. An estimated one in more than 100 people has autism. Autism affects almost four times as many boys than girls. Data analysis and classification of ASD is still challenging due to unsolved issues arising from many severity levels and range of signs and symptoms. To understanding the functions which involved in autism, neuroscience technology analyzed responses to stimuli of autistic audio and video. The study focuses on analyzing the data set of adults and children with ASD using practical component analysis method. To satisfy this aim, the proposed method consists of three main stages including: (1) data set preparation, (2) Data analysis, and (3) Unsupervised Classification. The experimental results were performed to classify adults and children with ASD. The classification results in adults give a sensitivity of 78.6% and specificity of 82.47%, while the classification results in children give a sensitivity of 87.5% and specificity of 95.7%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pedoman mengajar pembelajaran materi gerak non lokomotor untuk guru kelas III SDLB autis. Pedoman mengajar dibuat dilengkapi dengan panduan gerakan, gambar dan video terintegrasi melalui link dan QR Code dapat diakses melalui internet. Model penelitian dan pengembangan mengadaptasi model ADDIE (analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket analisis kebutuhan dan instrumen penilaian validasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu 3 peserta didik dan 6 guru Autis Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang dan 9 peserta didik serta 12 guru SLB C Autis Negeri Tuban. Hasil ujicoba kelompok memperlihatkan presentase 78% pada kelompok kecil dan sebesar 95% pada kelompok besar. Berdasarkan data tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa pedoman mengajar guru materi gerak non lokomotor untuk siswa kelas III SDLB Autis sangat valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. This study aimed to develop non-locomotor movement learning teaching guidelines for teachers of 3rd-grade students of SDLB with autism. The teaching guidelines were completed with instructions, pictures, and movement videos that can be accessed from the link and Qr Code via the internet. This research and development used ADDIE as the model. The method used in this research was a mixed method that combined qualitative and quantitative approachs. Data were collected through needs analysis questionnaires and judgement experts. This study involved 6 teachers and 3 students from SLB Autism Universitas Negeri Malang and 12 teachers and 9 students from SLB C Autism Tuban as the research subjects. The result of the study from small group and large group revealed the validation of teaching guidelines feasibility increased from 78% to 96% with very valid information. In conclusion, the non-locomotor movement learning teacher’s handbook for teachers of 3rd-grade students of SDLB with autism could be used in the learning and teaching process.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) adalah sekelompok kondisi perkembangan saraf. Orang dengan autisme memiliki masalah dengan interaksi sosial. Mereka tidak dapat mengembangkan hubungan dengan orang lain sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan mereka. Jumlah anak-anak dengan autisme telah tumbuh terus menerus selama beberapa tahun. Mendiagnosis ASD diperlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif, sistematis, dan terstruktur. Untuk mendiagnosis ASD, peneliti memanfaatkan penambangan data untuk menganalisis data terapi perilaku. Data yang didapatkan tidak sepenuhnya data yang bersih, dimana terdapat beberapa data yang hilang. Untuk menangani data yang hilang, pendekatan data pre-processing yang akan digunakan untuk membantu menganalisis dan memperhitungkan nilai yang hilang. Data yang tidak sesuai format akan ditransformasikan terlebih dahulu sebelum divisualisasikan. Sebagian besar kuesioner telah diisi oleh orang tua. Berdasarkan dataset, anak-anak dengan ASD didominasi oleh laki-laki. Dirujuk dari etnis, orang kulit putih-Eropa adalah etnis terbanyak yang terdeteksi memiliki jumlah anak tertinggi dengan ASD. Di dalam etnis, ada berbagai negara. Inggris adalah jumlah terbesar orang yang menderita autisme. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, bidang kesehatan harus lebih fokus memberikan pengobatan untuk orang kulit putih-Eropa terutama di Inggris. Para peneliti kesehatan harus menghasilkan wawasan yang dapat mengembangkan autisme untuk deteksi dan skrining. Berdasarkan hasil, hal tersebut dapat membantu lebih lanjut yang dapat mengurangi persentase autisme di seluruh dunia. peneliti kesehatan harus menghasilkan wawasan yang dapat mengembangkan autisme untuk deteksi dan skrining.

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Socialization Effects of SST for Autism Children (6 -12 years) in SLB Autism YPPA Padang 2015. Quasi - experimental design with one - group pre - post test. The population in this study all children with autism aged 6-12 year, and samples were taken by convenience sampling 30 people. Univariate date processing techniques while the frequency distribution and central tedensy and Bivariate date processing techniques with paired T - test. Results of research abilities children with autism after therapy SST, and light weight characteristic factors of symptoms associated with social skills of children with autism. Suggestions can be submitted to the study of nursing in order to detect early signs of the symptoms experienced by children with autism so there is no sign of severe symptoms and train the socialization skills of children with autism with SST therapy.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data: wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi rekaman percakapan pada saat penelitian. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini dengan triangulasi menggabungkan data-data dari naskah wawancara, catatan lapangan, foto, vidio tape recorder dan catatan kecil (memo). Hasil penelitian adalah: a) Rencana proses latihan yang dilakukan sudah berjalan dengan baik, b) Penyusunan progam latihan yang dilaksanakan sudah berjalan dengan baik, c) Pelaksanaan latihan yang dilaksanakan sudah berjalan dengan baik, d) Evaluasi Latihan yang dilaksanakan dudah berjalan dengan baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi latihan olahraga renang yang diterapkan terhadap anak autis sudah berjalan dengan baik.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of exercise training in children with autism swimming pool Cemara Asri Medan, the increase and changes in motor and attitudes of children with autism demonstrate the importance of the research was conducted. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept of parenting of the children with autism and its changes over time. Method: In this study, Rodgers' Evolutionary concept analysis approach has been used. Published articles were reviewed in valid scientific databases without regard to time limit and with the keywords of Autism, children, parenting, parenting children with autism, child parents, and caregiver. Articles were assessed in nursing sciences, psychology, social sciences, and medicine, and was limited to full-text and English-language. A total of 65 articles were selected; then the data were collected and analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings: The concept of parenting of children with autism is a concept with a process nature which has four attributes including: "demanding and challenging", "unique and multifaceted (guidance, education and socialization of children)", "dynamic interaction between parents and child"; "Personality growth and spiritual journey." Conclusion: This concept analysis could be a basis for further research to explain the meaning of parenting in a particular group of children for programs of parenting of children with autism. To demonstrate the capability of computer vision analysis to detect atypical orienting and attention behaviors in toddlers with autism spectrum disorder. One hundered and four toddlers of 16–31 months old (mean = 22) participated in this study. Twenty-two of the toddlers had autism spectrum disorder and 82 had typical development or developmental delay. Toddlers watched video stimuli on a tablet while the built-in camera recorded their head movement. Computer vision analysis measured participants’ attention and orienting in response to name calls. Reliability of the computer vision analysis algorithm was tested against a human rater. Differences in behavior were analyzed between the autism spectrum disorder group and the comparison group. Reliability between computer vision analysis and human coding for orienting to name was excellent (intra-class coefficient 0.84, 95% confidence interval 0.67–0.91). Only 8% of toddlers with autism spectrum disorder oriented to name calling on >1 trial, compared to 63% of toddlers in the comparison group (p = 0.002). Mean latency to orient was significantly longer for toddlers with autism spectrum disorder (2.02 vs 1.06 s, p = 0.04). Sensitivity for autism spectrum disorder of atypical orienting was 96% and specificity was 38%. Older toddlers with autism spectrum disorder showed less attention to the videos overall (p = 0.03). Automated coding offers a reliable, quantitative method for detecting atypical social orienting and reduced sustained attention in toddlers with autism spectrum disorder.

Metode Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) merupakan salah satu pendekatan perilaku yang memiliki kemungkinan dalam memperbaiki manifestasi klinis pada aspek komunikasi dan interaksi sosial serta perilaku anak penyandang autisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode ABA pada anak penyandang autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan 20 jurnal nasional terindeks SINTA atau Garuda dan jurnal internasional terindeks Scopus atau Scimago dalam waktu 5 tahun terakhir yaitu tahun 2017 sampai 2022. Hasil telaah jurnal yang dilakukan mendapatkan penerapan metode ABA memiliki efektivitas yang signifikan dalam memperbaiki berbagai macam manifestasi klinis dalam aspek gangguan komunikasi dan interaksi sosial serta perilaku yang terbatas dan berulang pada anak penyandang autisme. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini, yaitu penerapan metode ABA berpengaruh pada komunikasi dan interaksi sosial serta perilaku anak penyandang autisme.

Background: Facial behavior has emerged as a crucial biomarker for autism identification. However, heterogeneity among individuals with autism poses a significant obstacle to traditional feature extraction methods, which often lack the necessary discriminative power. While deep-learning methods hold promise, they are often criticized for their lack of interpretability. Methods: To address these challenges, we developed an innovative facial behavior characterization model that integrates coarse- and fine-grained analyses for intelligent autism identification. The coarse-grained analysis provides a holistic view by computing statistical measures related to facial behavior characteristics. In contrast, the fine-grained component uncovers subtle temporal fluctuations by employing a long short-term memory (LSTM) model to capture the temporal dynamics of head pose, facial expression intensity, and expression types. To fully harness the strengths of both analyses, we implemented a feature-level attention mechanism. This not only enhances the model’s interpretability but also provides valuable insights by highlighting the most influential features through attention weights. Results: Upon evaluation using three-fold cross-validation on a self-constructed autism dataset, our integrated approach achieved an average recognition accuracy of 88.74%, surpassing the standalone coarse-grained analysis by 8.49%. Conclusions: This experimental result underscores the improved generalizability of facial behavior features and effectively mitigates the complexities stemming from the pronounced intragroup variability of those with autism, thereby contributing to more accurate and interpretable autism identification.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder with unclear pathogenesis, characterized mainly by social disorders and repetitive stereotypical behaviors, often accompanied by ADHD, sleep disorders, or gastrointestinal problems. In recent years, the incidence rate of autism worldwide has increased at an alarming rate. The general public lacks a comprehensive understanding of the autism population, resulting in biases, discrimination, and stigmatization. Social media has played an important role in accurately presenting and shaping the image of autism for the public, greatly affecting the social situation of patients. In the study, content analysis is used in the study to get the data. 32 previous papers are selected from CNKI and foreign websites to analyse in this study. The time span for selecting samples is from 2009 to 2022 and the samples are mainly about stigmatization, stereotypes, and media image of autism. Through the analyse, media images on autism generally exhibit negatively and are generally one-sided, mostly drifting between the polarization of "genius" and "idiot".

The present meta-analysis synthesizes the emerging literature on the relationship of Big Five personality traits to autism spectrum disorder. Studies were included if they (1) either (a) measured autism spectrum disorder characteristics using a metric that yielded a single score quantification of the magnitude of autism spectrum disorder characteristics and/or (b) studied individuals with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis compared to individuals without an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis and (2) measured Big Five traits in the same sample or samples. Fourteen reviewed studies include both correlational analyses and group comparisons. Eighteen effect sizes per Big Five trait were used to calculate two overall effect sizes per trait. Meta-analytic effects were calculated using random effects models. Twelve effects (per trait) from nine studies reporting correlations yielded a negative association between each Big Five personality trait and autism spectrum disorder characteristics (Fisher’s z ranged from –.21 (conscientiousness) to –.50 (extraversion)). Six group contrasts (per trait) from six studies comparing individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder to neurotypical individuals were also substantial (Hedges’ g ranged from –.88 (conscientiousness) to −1.42 (extraversion)). The potential impact of personality on important life outcomes and new directions for future research on personality in autism spectrum disorder are discussed in light of results.

Autism, a complex neurodevelopmental disorder, is characterized by deficits in verbal and nonverbal communication, repetitive and stereotypical behavior patterns and interests, and sensory sensitivities. Despite the increasing prevalence of autism, there is limited research on the education of children with autism. This study compares the autism education policies in Mainland China and Hong Kong based on field research conducted at the Shunde District Shangliao Children Rehabilitation Center and Aoi School. The findings reveal that although there have been improvements in the education of children with autism in Mainland China, there are still several deficiencies compared to Hong Kong, including limited educational opportunities, low integration with mainstream schools, and a shortage of qualified educators. Recommendations are provided to enhance the educational landscape for children with autism, including increasing educational opportunities, supporting the development of special education in mainstream schools, fostering collaboration between rehabilitation centers and mainstream schools, promoting inclusive education, and providing professional training for teachers. These suggestions aim to advance autism education policies in Mainland China.

This study to analyze the research trends of papers related to the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder by using keyword network analysis. The analysis papers were 42 papers related to the diagnosis of autism disorder published from 2011-2020. As for the analysis data, general research trends, frequency analysis of major keywords, and network analysis were conducted using textome and UCINET. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was confirmed that a total of 42 studies were conducted from 2011 to 2020. Second, most of the papers related to the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder were found to be academic journals in the field of special education. Third, as a result of examining the frequency of occurrence of major keywords in research related to the diagnosis of autism disorder, it was found in the order of ‘autism spectrum disorder’, ‘early diagnosis’, ‘focus’, ‘early screening’, and ‘infants’. Fourth, the result of TF-IDF weight analysis showed similar results to the order of appearance frequency. Fifth, in the N-gram analysis, the keywords that are highly related to the keyword ‘autism spectrum disorder’ were found to be in the order of ‘early diagnosis’, ‘early screening’, ‘children’, and ‘infants’. In addition, in the analysis of the semantic network, the keyword ‘autism spectrum disorder’ showed ‘early diagnosis’ and the highest degree of center of connection. Sixth, in the CONCOR analysis, the main clusters such as characteristics and support system for ‘autism spectrum disorder’, ‘diagnosis tool development’, and ‘early diagnosis’ were identified. This study analyzed the trends of research related to the diagnosis of autistic disorder, and discussed and suggested future research directions.

It is well documented that the majority of persons with autism spectrum disorder do not receive a basic education. The biggest problem of autistic children is they do not aggressively search for information or strengthening from the social environment to the same extent as others. There are many testes focused attention on autistic children and discovery difference in the responses of children with and without autism spectrum disorder in this research makes it an ideal test case for a computational model of autism. It aims to analyze the autism spectrum disorder affected child and identify the activities to be carried out for those children were mentioned through this work. There is an insistent need to create and empower a unit of explained, trained employees to address the instructive needs of persons with the implementation of Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm and Hidden Markov Model (HMM) disability particularly complex, little unwritten ones like Autism spectrum disorder were analyzed better and the performance of the proposed system provides more efficiency.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects children worldwide between the ages of 2 and 8 years. Children with autism have communication and social difficulties, and the current standardized clinical diagnosis of autism still relies on behaviour-based tests. The rapidly growing number of autistic patients in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq necessitates. However, such data are scarce, making extensive evaluations of autism screening procedures more difficult. For this purpose, the use of machine learning algorithms for this disease to assist health practitioners if formal clinical diagnosis should be pursued was investigated. Data from 515 patients were collected in Dohuk city related to autism screening for young children. Three classification algorithms, namely (DT, KNN, and ANN) were applied to diagnose and predict autism using various rating scales. Before applying the above classifiers, the newly obtained data set was in different ways undergo data reprocessing. Since our data is unbalanced with high dimensionality, we suggest combining SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Hyper sampling Technique) and PCA (Primary Component Analysis) to improve the performance of classification models. Experimental results showed that the combination of PCA and SMOTE methods improved classification performance. Moreover, ANN exceeded the other models in terms of accuracy and F1 score, suggesting that these classification methods could be used to diagnose autism in the future.

Previous studies on autism have shown a lack of motor anticipation in children and adults with autism. As part of a programme of research into early detection of autism, we focussed on an everyday situation: spoon-feeding. We hypothesize that an anticipation deficit may be found very early on by observing whether the baby opens his or her mouth in anticipation of the spoon’s approach. The study is based on a retrospective analysis from family home movies. Observation of infants later diagnosed with autism or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) (n = 13) and infants with typical development (n = 14) between 4 and 6 months old show that the autism/ASD group has an early anticipation deficit.

BackgroundThe aetiology of autism is unknown, although prenatal exposures have been the focus of epidemiological research for over 40 years.AimsTo provide the first quantitative review and meta-analysis of the association between maternal pregnancy complications and pregnancy-related factors and risk of autism.MethodPubMed, Embase and PsycINFO databases were searched for epidemiological studies that examined the association between pregnancy-related factors and autism. Forty studies were eligible for inclusion in the meta-analysis. Summary effect estimates were calculated for factors examined in multiple studies.ResultsOver 50 prenatal factors have been examined. The factors associated with autism risk in the meta-analysis were advanced parental age at birth, maternal prenatal medication use, bleeding, gestational diabetes, being first born v. third or later, and having a mother born abroad. The factors with the strongest evidence against a role in autism risk included previous fetal loss and maternal hypertension, proteinuria, pre-eclampsia and swelling.ConclusionsThere is insufficient evidence to implicate any one prenatal factor in autism aetiology, although there is some evidence to suggest that exposure to pregnancy complications may increase the risk.

ABSTRACT The prevalence of autism has increased significantly to 1 person with autism per 50 children in the last year compared to 2010 data on the prevalence of autism 1 per 68 children. One of the causes found in children with autism is a disorder of the immune system that underlies the occurrence of food allergies. The immune system is mostly located in the gastrointestinal tract. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of nutritional counseling on knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers in improving the consumption patterns of children with autism. The design of this research is quasi experimental study, with sampling technique is consecutive sampling. Based on the inclusion criteria, the mother who is willing to be a sample of 36 mothers of children with autism in Inclusion School and Special School of Kupang City. The analysis used is Paired-Sample t test and Independent-Sample t test. The results showed that mother's knowledge, attitudes and actions about food for autistic children increased significantly between before and after intervention (p <0.05). Mother knowledge, attitudes and actions increase after intervention. Effective nutrition counseling improves the average score of knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers is high compared with the control group. Salah satu penyebab yang dijumpai pada anak autisme adalah gangguan sistem imun yang mendasari terjadinya alergi makanan. Sistem imun sebagian besar berlokasi di dalam saluran cerna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai efektivitas konseling gizi terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan ibu dalam perbaikan pola konsumsi anak autisme. Disain penelitian ini adalah studi eksperimental semu, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel consecutive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria inklusi maka ibu yang bersedia menjadi sampel sebanyak 36 orang ibu dari anak autistik di Sekolah Inklusi dan Sekolah Luar Biasa Kota Kupang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Paired-Sample t test dan Independent-Sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan ibu tentang makanan anak autisme meningkat signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah intervensi (p<0,05). Pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan ibu meningkat setelah intervensi. Konseling gizi efektif meningkatkan rerata skor pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan ibu yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang mana peneliti menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan hasil temuan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua anak autis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dan observasi, metode analisis data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis interaktif dan keabsahan data menggunakan metode trianggulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling individu menggunakan teknik REBT dapat membuat orang tua sadar bahwa anaknya membutuhkan dukungan dari orang tuanya. Karena salah satu keberhasilan terapi untuk anak autis adalah dukungan dari orang tuanya. Dengan teknik logotherapy klien mulai memberikan nilai pada keadaan yang dia punya serta klien sadar akan karunia Tuhan yang diberikan kepadanya, dan dengan teknik humanistik, klien mulai mampu menerima kondisi anaknya. Hal tersebut membuat klien memiliki kepercayaan diri sebagai orang tua yang memiliki anak autis.</p><br /><em>The purpose of this study is to know how the process of individual counseling implementation to foster self-confidence of parents who have children with autism in SLB Autis Mitra Ananda Colomadu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in which the researcher describes and describes the findings. Subjects in this study were parents of children with autism. Data collection techniques using interviews, and observation, data analysis methods used in this study is interactive analysis and data validity using data triangulation method. The results of this study indicate that individual counseling using REBT techniques can make parents aware that their children need support from their parents. Because one of the successes of therapy for children with autism is support from their parents. With the logotherapy technique the client begins to give value to the circumstances that he has as well as the client is conscious of God's gift given to him, and by humanistic techniques, the client begins to be able to accept his child's condition. Objective: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of interventions for social cognition in preschool children with autism spectrum disorder and aimed to provide evidence regarding occupational interventions. Methods: The studies included in this review were collected by searching the PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest Health & Medical Collection (PML), and PsycARTICLES databases as well as two trial registries. We searched the databases and registries for articles from January 2013 to January 2023 using the following search strategy: [(autis*) AND (“social cognitive” OR “social cognition”) AND (Intervention or therapy or approach or treatment or training)]. A total of 3 studies were included in the analysis. Selection criteria: The studies included in the review were selected if they reported on an applicable intervention for social cognition, presented randomized controlled trial data, and included participants who had a confirmed diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. The interventions for social cognition were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and the effects of the interventions were meta-analyzed using the ReviewManager (RevMan) 5.4 program. Results: Three randomized controlled trials involving 378 participants were included. The Intervention program that includes social cognitive components for preschool children with autism spectrum disorder resulted in an increase in social cognition and functional play skills. Conclusion: Through this systematic review, we were able to identify and understand the effect of interventions on social cognition in preschool children with autism spectrum disorder. Further research is required on the need for accessible diagnosis, improving the quality and diversity of early intervention services, and policies for effective intervention provision.
