This research discusses the history and development of the Siak Regency Library and Archives Service as one of the libraries that is very active and accomplished in carrying out its role in Siak Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the history of the formation of the Siak Library and Archives Service, examine the development of the Siak Library and Archives Service in 2004-2022, be able to provide an overview of how the Siak library and archives collection is managed, and be able to find out the use of the Siak Library and Archives Service in carrying out its duties. The method used is a historical method which includes heuristic, verification, interpretation and historiography stages. The results of the research show that the formation of the Siak Library and Archives Service was due to input from the community to make the library, which was originally a regional secretariat library which at that time could only be accessed by government employees, into a public library so that the general public in Siak could access the library. Since its initial formation in 2004-2022, the Siak Library and Archives Service has experienced developments in various aspects, including infrastructure, library collections, library services and library visitors, up to the use of the Siak Library and Archives Service as a learning resource and also a source of history.

Digitizing local archives and culture through literacy using an e-library website is a reflection as well as an effort to save phenomenal memories which are unique and hardly repeated. An archive is a crucial component of social life and literacy, and it must be conserved because of its historical significance. Archives need to be preserved because the nation’s cultural treasures due to the fact beyond activities documented via data are legal evidence. Technology and information advancements are one of the options that can be used by the public to store online documentation and archiving. Literature can reflect the historical history of a country and are also a cultural driver in the cultural development of society. The type of research used in this study is library research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, documentation studies, and interviews at the five research locations, namely the North Sumatra Provincial Library and Archives Service, Tebing Tinggi City Library and Archives Service, Pematangsiantar Library and Archives Service, Regency of Central Tapanuli Library and Archives Service, Sibolga City Library and Archives Service and North Tapanuli Library and Archives Service. The result of this research is that the best library service was shown by the library in Tebing Tinggi, but the Regency of Central Tapanuli Library and Archives Service area has an unprecedented and excellent collection of books and they have got an e-library from Kubuku as a digital library for society.

AbstractThis research aims to describe (1) the form of the application of the learning commons concept in the Archives Service and Library West Sumatra Province; (2) the concept of learning commons in the Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province; (3) efforts to realize learning commons in the Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province; and (4) factors that must be considered in applying the concept of learning commons. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, which is collecting data by conducting observations and interviews with librarians and library users in the Archives Service and Library West Sumatra Province. The results of the research that have been carried out show, First, the form of the application of the concept of learning commons in the Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province is applied in information technology, namely by using the INLISLite application to provide technology-based services as well as maximum utilization of library space and facilities. Second, there are three concepts of learning commons that exist in the Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province, namely, the concept of learning, the concept of discussion, and the concept of information technology. Third, the efforts made in realizing learning commons in the Archives Service and Library of West Sumatra Province are influenced by the performance of librarians in the Archives and Library West Sumatra Province. Fourth, there are seven factors that must be considered in implementing the concept of learning commons, namely, user-centered, flexible, repetitive questions, join resources, delete remove barriers, trust your users, and publicize. All these factors have been carried out by the Office of Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province although there are still some applications that have not been maximized.Keywords: library; concept; learning commons.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public library service management at the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service. This research is qualitative research. The results showed that the implementation of library service management at the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service had been implemented but was not optimal because there were still problems in its implementation. Planning (planning) at the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service has been carried out properly through the implementation of technical guidance for employees. Organizing, the availability of facilities and infrastructure resources at the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service still does not meet the needs of all levels of society in general. The actuating has been carried out but is not optimal due to inadequate human resources, limited funds owned by the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service in implementing the program, the lack of a collection of reading books owned by the Tabanan Regency Library and Archives Service. Supervision (controlling) shows that supervision has been carried out through regular meetings, tiered supervision, supervision of employee discipline but has not been optimal because the government's attention is still low on the development of public library functions.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of service quality and user value on the satisfaction and loyalty of users at the Padang City Library and Archives Service. The sample used was 100 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data is processed using SPSS 16. The type of data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis method with path analysis technique. The results of the study found that the quality of service had a significant effect on the loyalty of users at the Padang City Library and Archives Service, the value of users had a significant effect on the loyalty of users at the City of Library and Archives Service, the quality of service had a significant effect on the satisfaction of visitors at the Department of Library and Archives of Padang, the value of users have a significant effect on the satisfaction of library users in the Padang City Library and Archives Office, satisfaction has a significant effect on the loyalty of users in the Library and City Archives Office in Padang, the quality of service through satisfaction has no effect on loyalty and so does the value of users through satisfaction does not affect the loyalty of users in the Padang City Library and Archives Service.

<p align="justify">Archives are a collection of documents that contain information and have useful value for a certain period of time. Every information institution, especially in the archives sector, needs to have archive management, including recording, storage, maintenance and depreciation. The Bandung City Library and Archives Service as an information institution should have good archive management. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting this research to find out how archives are managed and the obstacles experienced by the Bandung City Library and Archives Service. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research conclusion is that archive management at the Bandung City Library and Archives Service is in accordance with Law Number 49 of 2009 concerning archives, starting from creation, storage, maintenance and depreciation. However, in its management the Library and Archives Service still has obstacles, such as a lack of human resources and a lack of infrastructure in the form of space to accommodate archives.</p>

<p><em>This study aims to determine (1) The effect of service quality on library visitor satisfaction at the Surakarta City Library and Archives Service, (2) The effect of facilities on library visitor satisfaction at the Surakarta City Library and Archives Service, and (3) The influence of service quality and library facilities together on library visitor satisfaction at the Surakarta City Library and Archives Service. This research was conducted using a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect on quality on visitor satisfaction at the Surakarta City Library and Archives Service. This was shown from the value of t<sub>count</sub> (2.841) > t<sub>table</sub> (1.989) (2) There was a positive and significant influence between facilities on library visitor satisfaction. The satisfaction of library visitors at the Surakarta City Library and Archives Service is shown from the analysis of the F test, which shows the value of F<sub>count</sub> 46.500 > Ftable 3.09.</em></p>

AbstractThis study aims to describe the application of an electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archive Service, and to determine the effectiveness of the electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) on the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were employees at the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service who had worked for more than three years. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. From the results of the accuracy calculation done by researchers at the Blitar City Library and Archives Service, the Accuracy Number (AK) results are 0.4% where AK is recommended ranging from 0.5% to 3%, from these results it can be concluded that the SIMASKEREN in the office has not been effective against the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Library and Archives Service.Keywords: Rediscovery of Archives Service; Simaskeren; Qualitative Approach

This research aims to analyze the accessibility of library and archives services for people with disabilities in the West Sumatra Provincial Archives and Library Service, the accessibility of users with disabilities in the West Sumatra Province Archives and Library Service based on IFLA Checklist standards, and the obstacles faced in fulfilling accessibility for people with disabilities at the Provincial Archives and Library Service West Sumatra. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data validation technique uses triangulation, namely triangulation of data sources. The data validation technique uses the Miles and Hubermen model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, accessibility at the West Sumatra Provincial Archives and Library Service has not yet been fully realized because there are still many shortcomings found in the implementation of accessibility services for people with disabilities, such as the ease of library users in meeting their needs has not been fully realized and the only library material collections available are books with braille printing. Second, accessibility at the West Sumatra Archives and Library Service based on the IFLA Checklist Standard reached 40.54%. Thus, it can be said that accessibility for users with disabilities in the Archives and Library Service is still not in accordance with the IFLA Checklist standards. The research results from the IFLA Checklist standard amounted to 111 items which were 45 items which were appropriate while which were 66 items which were not appropriate. Third, the obstacles faced by the West Sumatra Province Archives and Library Service in fulfilling accessibility for disabled users from various aspects such as the lack of available funding, lack of technical knowledge of implementation, and limited human resources who are competent in providing services for users with special needs or disabilities.

Along with the development of information technology, the Ponorogo Regency Library and Archives Office has carried out inactive dynamic archive media transfer activities. This study aims to determine the procedure for implementing media transfer in the Ponorogo Regency Library and Archives Office. This research method is a qualitative method with a field study research method through observation and interviews. The results showed that the procedure for transferring inactive dynamic archive media starts from preparing tools for the media transfer process, preparing inactive archives that will be carried out media transfer activities, scanning inactive archives, storing media transfer archives on computer / CD folders as a storage medium for digital inactive archives, returning archives to their original place.</em></p>

The need for studying and promoting web-archiving for longterm information preservation and accessibility in future is substantiated. The existing technologies of web-archiving are specified and the problems related to the web dynamic character, errors, content complexity, are revealed. Successful experience in the world libraries’ web-archiving is discussed (selection, search, description technologies, access terms, etc.). The study findings demonstrate that web-archives are selected to supplement the libraries’ digital collections on hot topics, like COVID-19, or to meet the demands of specific user groups. For the purpose of cultural heritage preservation, the national libraries often focus of acquiring web-sites by the domains in the corresponding country. The university libraries focus on acquiring web-archives that meet research and educational demands of their users; and public libraries prefer the resources of interest to their local community. The findings may be used by world libraries for developing their digital collections.

This paper reports on the findings of a study that was carried out in 2014 at the Lutheran Theological Institute (LTI) Library on public use of archives and user perceptions about archives in the library. Archival registration data in the form of user statics, library membership statistics, annual reports and a questionnaire were the primary sources of data. The study established that users were generally aware of what archives are, that the most consulted archival material were church and diocese minutes and that amongst the recommended strategies to promote visibility for the archives were exhibitions, guided tours, publications, an open day on archives and the establishment of a friends of the archives group.

These four institutions develop and maintain resources and collections on Native American art and make the information they contain about indigenous groups available not only to their users and other scholars but also to the wider world.

This research aims to: (1) Find out how much competence librarians in the Bengkalis Regency Library and Archives Service have; (2) Find out how high the quality of library services is at the Bengkalis Regency Library and Archives Service; (3) Find out how much significant influence librarian competence has on the quality of library services at the Bengkalis Regency Library and Archives Service. This research is field research with variables The data in this research was taken using documentation and questionnaires. The results of the research show that: (1) The competence of librarians in the Bengkalis district library and archives service is categorized as good, this can be proven by the percentage value of the questionnaire regarding librarian competence, namely 77.7%; (2) The quality of library services in the Bengkalis district library and archives service is categorized as good, this can be seen from the percentage value of library service quality, namely 79.8%; (3) There is a significant influence between librarian competence on the quality of library services, this can be proven by analysis of the coefficient of determination where the coefficient of determination is 0.741. This shows the understanding that changes in the level of quality of library services (Y) are 74.1% influenced by Librarian Competency (X), while the remaining 25.9% (100% - 74.1%) is explained by other causes.

The writing of this paper uses descriptive research methods with data collection techniques through interviews. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded as follows. (1) The filing system applied in the Padang City Library and Archives Service uses a substitution system, this substitution system is carried out in each area of expertise so that employees and archivists are not fixed with a particular field and gain experience with archives. (2) Archival management in the Padang City Library and Archives Service must know the distribution of archives. (3) The contribution of records management in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of employees in the Padang City Library and Archives Service. Data collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded first, the management of statistical records in the Padang Pariaman District Archives and Library Services includes: (a) acquisition files, (b) processing statistical records; (c) preservation of statistical files; and (d) Access. Second, the procedure for installing and using electronic records at the Padang Pariaman District Archive and Library Service includes: (a) Xampp installation as a MySQL database server; (b) storage application as an electronic file storage device. Third, regulating what is in the administrative archive at the Padang Pariaman District Archives and Library Office includes: (a) implementation of the agreement not all archive creators who submit statistical records to the Padang Pariaman District Archives and Library Office; (b) Implementation of implementations that require a long time (c) Implementation of preservation as needed; (d) while access activities still use conventional methods. Fourth, efforts were made to overcome the challenges in managing statistical archives: (a) by dragging archives makers who sent statistical archives to the Padang Pariaman District Archive and Library Services; (b) carrying out regular organizing processing from the creator of the archive, labeling the boxes, adding shelves to manage the volume of archives; (c) Implementation of maintenance by providing adequate equipment (d) when supporting access also uses digital technology and provides supporting facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: management, archives, statis

The method of writing this paper is to use a qualitative descriptive method which is done by observation, interviews and data collection directly to the source, the Office of Archives and the Library of West Sumatra Province. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted at the Archives Service and West Sumatra Province Library are as follows: First, the service collection of "local content" content at the Archives Service and West Sumatra Province Library through the procurement of local content collection, local content collection service system and the use of collections local content by users in the Archives Service and Library of West Sumatra Province. Second, the obstacles faced are: (1) limited number of local content collections, (2) limited access to local content collections, (3) lack of government and other related parties' attention to cultural functions, (4) lack of human resources as skilled librarians. This research was conducted with the aim, to find out the role of the Karo Regency Library and Archives Service in increasing reading interest in children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung, to find out the role of the library and archives service in socializing libraries to children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung, to find out the obstacles faced by the Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Karo Regency Library and Archives in increasing interest in reading for children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung. The research method used in this thesis is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is by means of observation, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis technique is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the role of the Karo Regency Library and Archives Service has been carried out as a public library for children and the community in Karo district, but for children who were affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung there is not yet. The role of the Karo Regency Library and Archives Service in socializing the Karo Regency Library to children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung is still carried out in schools only, however, a special program has not been made for visits to relocation villages. The first obstacle faced by the Karo Regency Library and Archives Service in increasing the reading interest of children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung was the first budget, inadequate facilities and low interest in reading.

Reading interest in Indonesia is still relatively low because the number of books in circulation is uneven, and most books are circulated only in big cities. To overcome this, the Metro City Regional Library and Archives Office are in accordance with its vision and mission in utilizing information technology, namely by creating innovations that make libraries attractive through the ebook program. This program is a service innovation provided by the Metro City Regional Library and Archives Service, namely a library based on digital applications that can easily find and read books coming to the library. This study seeks to determine service innovation's application to the Metro City Library and Archives Service through the ebook program and the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the ebook program innovation in the Metro City Library and Archives Service. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. This study indicates that the ebook program innovation carried out by the Metro City Library and Archives Office is quite useful in its application. This can be seen from the fulfillment of four of the six indicators of innovation typology: new or improved services, administrative innovation, system innovation, and radical change. Some things of concern are the innovation carried out still shows conceptual weaknesses because the Metro City Library and Archives Service still carries a Type B library and in the process of making application systems require a long time and maintenance of application systems that must be done regularly by human resources who are competent in their field.

This research discusses the effectiveness of mobile library services in developing people's reading interest in the Sibolga City Library and Archives Service. The aim of this research is to find out whether the mobile library service at the Sibolga City Library and Archives Service is effective enough in developing people's interest in reading in Sibolga City. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation, while technical data analysis is carried out in 3 (three) ways, namely data triangulation, method triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this research show that the effectiveness of the mobile library service in developing people's interest in reading in the Sibolga city library and archives service has gone quite well, this can be seen in real conditions after the researchers conducted observations and interviews, which can be seen based on the public's fairly good response, and the enthusiasm of children who always welcome mobile library visits to their schools. Factors that influence mobile library services in developing people's reading interest in the Sibolga City Library and Archives Service, namely book collections, users/readers, librarians on duty, and the mobile library facilities provided are supporting factors. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are in terms of funding, as well as inadequate facilities and infrastructure for the 17 sub-districts which are visiting points for mobile libraries for the Sibolga city library and archives service.

The Library and Archives Office of Magelang City can be said to be successful in supervising 30 libraries in Magelang City, with the result that 19 libraries got a grade of “A” and 11 libraries got a grade of “B”. It was interesting to study their activities in supervising the libraries in Magelang City. This study aimed to determine how to supervision process was carried out by the Library and Archives Office of Magelang City to supervise libraries in Magelang City that participated in library accreditation. The study used qualitative research with a case study approach conducted in Magelang City. Data collection techniques used interviews with related parties, namely the Library and Archives Office of Magelang City and Library Officers in Magelang City who participated in the accreditation. The selection of informants purposefully used the snowball technique until the data experienced a saturation point. The results showed that the Library and Archives Office of Magelang City carried out supervision consisting of 3 categories: supervising individuals, managing groups, and leading organizations. However, two items were not implemented in supervision activities; the first was managing reward items in the category of supervising individuals. The supervised library considered the accreditation certificate as a reward. The second was budgeting basics items in the category of managing groups. It resulted in the managing reward, which was not implemented; therefore, library supervision has succeed implement the supervision process in participating in library accreditation in Magelang City.

This study aims to determine the effects of Coordination on the Public Service Quality at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency and to determine the relationship between Coordination and Public Services Quality at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method to test the predetermined hypothesis. In this study, researchers used inferential descriptive data analysis techniques to describe the collected data as it is by making general conclusions. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sampling technique with a population of 70 people to obtain a sample size of 70 respondents.Based on the results of the study, it can be illustrated that the coordination at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency is sufficient, reaching 67.80%, and the Public Service Quality at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency reaches 65.70%, and this figure is categorized as sufficient. The correlation between coordination and public service quality at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency with a correlation coefficient of 0.52 is in the medium category. Meanwhile, the effect of coordination public service quality at the Office of Archives and Library of Sumedang Regency reached 27%, while the remaining 73% was affected by unexamined factors called the epsilon factor.

This research aims to find out the causes of the decline in visitor interest at the Tanjung Balai City Library and Archives Service, the strategies implemented by the Tanjung Balai City Library and Archives Service to encourage users' interest in coming to the library, find out what obstacles are faced by the City Library and Archives Service Tanjung Balai in arousing interest in visiting the library. This type of research is qualitative research with a field approach. The subjects of this research are librarians who work at the Tanjung Balai City Library and Archives Service and the community around the library. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is based on descriptive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the cause of the decline in interest in visiting the Tanjung Balai City Library and Archives Service is the lack of incomplete facilities and infrastructure and a lack of public awareness about the importance of reading books to increase knowledge. Furthermore, the strategy used by librarians to increase interest in visiting visitors is to create various activities including mobile libraries and several literacy competitions, which are very helpful in attracting people's sympathy for reading.

By utilizing library information systems and archives that will be applied to the Office of Archives and Library of Padang Pariaman Regency can improve the quality of service that has not been optimal. This research was made by using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which is better known as waterfall method. The first step taken on this method is to go directly to the field by conducting interviews and discussions. This information system will be able to assist the work of officers in terms of data processing libraries and facilitate in search data archives by presenting reports more accurate, effective and efficient.

Library and archives management in Bondowoso Regency faces various challenges that affect the quality of services and administrative effectiveness. These challenges include a lack of clear guidelines, inadequate infrastructure, and the need to increase staff capacity. To overcome this problem, the Bondowoso Regency Library and Archives Service is implementing a standardization program which aims to improve the quality of library and archive services through the implementation of standard procedures and structured policies. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of standardization in library and archives management and analyze its impact on the quality of services and archives management in Bondowoso Regency. This research approach uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participant observation and document study. Interviews were conducted with department heads, library and archives staff, and service users to explore their perceptions and experiences regarding standardization. Observations are carried out to observe the management practices implemented, while document studies include regulations, policies and annual reports to analyze existing policies and procedures. The collected data was analyzed thematically to identify patterns and relationships between relevant themes. The research results show that the implementation of standardization has had a significant positive impact on library and archive management in Bondowoso Regency. Standardization has helped in establishing clear operational guidelines, increasing staff capacity through training, and introducing information technology that supports efficient management of collections and archives. Service users reported an increase in the quality of information and satisfaction with library services, while archives staff reported an increase in understanding and better application of procedures in archive management. However, the research also identified several challenges, including limited resources, resistance to change, and the need for further support from relevant parties. In conclusion, standardization is an effective step in improving the quality of library and archive management. This research suggests that the Bondowoso District Library and Archives Service should continue to support the implementation of standards by providing adequate resources and building an organizational culture that supports change. In addition, the findings of this research can be a reference for other regions in designing and implementing better information and archive management policies.

Purpose This paper aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the concept of community archives, offering a critique of the community archives discourse through a historical case study focused on the origins of the Gerber/Hart LGBTQ library and archives in Chicago. Design/methodology/approach This study explores the archival collections of the founders of the Gerber/Hart library and archives and the librarians that have worked there as a means for understanding the origins of the archival impulse, the rationale for building the collections and the practices that shaped the collections during the first decade of the organization’s history. Findings The historical analysis of the Gerber/Hart library and archives situates community archives and LGBTQ collections within the broader historical context that lead to the founding of the organization and reveals deep connections to the information professions not previously considered by those studying community archives. Originality/value The paper offers a reconceptualization of community archives as archival projects initiated, controlled and maintained by the members of a self-defined community. The authors emphasize the role of the archival impulse or the historical origins of the collection and the necessity for full-community control, setting clear boundaries between community archives and other participatory archival models that engage the community.

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of SIKD in managing archives in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method, with data collection done through observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature study. The questionnaire was distributed to the archive manager with a research sample of 6 people. The results of this study indicate that the average score is 3.35, based on preparations using the Likert scale at intervals of 3.26 - 4.00, that the archive manager is very positive and effective using SIKD in managing the archives at the Department of Library and Archives of Pekanbaru City . And the obstacle faced by managers in using SIKD is one of the network problems, where in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service the network is sometimes unstable.

The title of this research is an analysis of the behavior of librarians at the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service. The purpose of this study was to find out how the behavior of librarians at the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service in the field of service in the library. The method used is mixed research, which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, with a quantitative research sample of 100 users and a qualitative research sample of librarians who work in other fields of library service. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, interviews, observations, literature studies and documentation. The results of quantitative research show that the behavioral analysis of librarians at the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service is stated to be good with an average value in the range of 2.51 – 3.25 while qualitative research shows that the efforts of librarians in the services of the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service need to be improved due to the lack of librarian staff in the library service division, resulting in several obstacles including, the lack of accessibility of library services to users as a whole and the lack of access to information and knowledge of librarians in the field of library services.

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the availability of collections local content in increasing public information literacy about wisdom local at the Padang Panjang City Library and Archives Service; (2) obstacles in improving public information literacy about local wisdom in the Dinas Padang Panjang City Library and Archives; and (3) efforts in improving public information literacy about local wisdom in the Dinas Padang Panjang City Library and Archives. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation. Research data was obtained from the results of an interview with the Head of the Library Service and Assistant Service Staff Padang Panjang City Library and Archives. The results of this study are as follows. First, in doing availability of local library collections pay attention to indicators availability of library collections including. (1) relevance, availability collection of local content in the library is relevant to the related user needs collection of local content; (2) user-oriented, collection availability local content in the library related to the information needs of users; (3) completeness of collections, completeness of local content collections in the library is still not complete because it only exists in printed form; (4) the ratio of titles, users and field specialist. The ratio between the titles of local content collections in the library and current users is still limited; (5) does not conflict with politics, ideology, religion or belief, race, or class. Availability of local content collection what is in the library does not conflict with politics, ideology, religion as well as existing races and groups; (6) scientific objects, collection availability local content in the library is adjusted to the vision and mission of the parent institution to achieve goals and objectives. Second, the City Library and Archives Service Padang Panjang has obstacles, namely: (1) lack of librarians functional in carrying out coaching activities; (2) users looking for local content collection is still very limited; (3) lack of active community participation. The Bandung Regency Archives and Libraries Service is one of the regional public libraries of Bandung Regency which has service innovations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bandung Regency Archives and Library Service provides a mobile user interface service named i-Sabilulungan. The purpose of this study was to determine the usefulness of the i-Sabilulungan application as a service innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Bandung Regency Archives and Library Service. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. In this study, the informants were librarians managing the i-Sabilulungan mobile application. The results of this study reveal that i-Sabilulungan as a library service innovation for the Bandung Regency Archives and Libraries Service has fulfilled an important element in the application of the mobile user interface application. Archive structuring is sorting and combining archives according to type and use of archives for organization's benefit. Electronic filing systems are useful in facilitating the management of archives in organization. The study aimed to determine the implementation of the Dynamic Archival Information System or Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis (SIKD) at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office. The research method was descriptive qualitative. The results showed that implementation of SIKD in dynamic archives at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office began with document recording, archive control, distribution of archives, archive storage, and archive shrinkage. Archives are recorded in various methods consist of agenda books, control cards, and manuscripts. Archive control used are a control card system, spreadsheet introduction, and the SIKD framework application, which is equipped with a login. Distribution of archives used identification cards in SIKD after taking advantage of new developments and using conventional process combinations. Archive storage, both active and inactive records used the usual storage process that relied on the classification code recorded on the control card. This study concludes that the creation of the archives to archives shrinkage needs to be optimized. Due to the limited human resources of digital archive managers, not all dynamic archive files are digitized, and not all units can use the SIKD system due to website network problems. This study implies that the management of digital archives needs improvements in meeting the needs of those who require them at the Purwodadi Grobogan Regional Archives and Library Office.
