<p class="0abstract">In today’s world, mobile applications are used widely in our daily life and in many areas. One important usage of these applications is in the health care sector. Health care applications are growing rapidly in the app store and have significant importance. Alzheimer has been known as a common disease. Therefore, in this paper Thakirni application is proposed as an assistive application that provides many different features for the early stages of Alzheimer patients. This application enhances the doctor’s operations by ensuring that their patients come to appointments and increases focus on patient care by recommending Thakirni application to the patients. The application provides a tracking feature, reminder feature about medicine, important events, and appointments throughout the day and photo album.</p>

Studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of water application medium moisture deficit, water application rate, and intermittent application on water application efficiency {[(amount applied - amount leached)/amount applied] x 100} of spray stake-irrigated, container-grown plants. Pine bark-filled containers were irrigated to replace moisture deficits of 600, 1200, or 1800 ml; deficits were returned in single, continuous applications of 148, 220, or 270 ml·min-l. Efficiency was unaffected by application rate but decreased with increased medium moisture deficit. In the second experiment, container medium at a 600-ml deficit was irrigated with 400 or 600 ml (6570 and 100% water replacement, respectively); deficits were returned in a single, continuous application or in intermittent 100-ml applications with 30-min intervals between irrigations. Application efficiency was greater with intermittent irrigation (95% and 84% for 400- and 600-ml replacement, respectively) than with continuous irrigation (84% and 67% for 400- and 600-ml replacement, respectively). In the third experiment, pine bark was irrigated with 600 ml water (100% replacement) in 50-, 100-, or 150-ml aliquots with 20, 40, or 60 min between applications in a factorial design. Efficiency increased with decreasing application volume and increasing time between applications. Highest efficiency (86%) was achieved with an irrigation regimen of 50-ml applications with at least 40 min between applications, compared to 62% for the control treatment (a single, continuous application of 600 ml). Our results suggest that growers using spray stakes would waste less water by applying water intermittently rather than continuously.

Gadgets have become indispensable attributes of our lives, but also applications. Using applications simplifies and speeds up users. It is the future computer science teachers who must be able to create their own applications for professional duties, because the possession of tools for creating software products is one of the software learning outcomes of future computer science teachers. The concept of "application" is analyzed in the article. An "application" is defined as a software product that can run on a PC and / or mobile device due to installation or opening by a browser without installation. Types of applications are presented: desktop applications, mobile, web applications. The existing classifications of applications are given, with their characteristics, namely: web application, rich Internet application, Internet application, mobile application, hybrid mobile application, composite web application (mashup). Describes the classification of Internet applications and composite web applications. Examples of web applications are given. Statistics on the use of mobile applications of social networks and messengers, according to which the most popular application is the YouTube application. The author's classification of applications is offered: desktop applications (applications that are installed on a PC), mobile applications (applications that are installed on mobile devices), Internet applications (web applications, applications that do not require installation, but are opened by a browser and a certain mostly use the Internet). The platforms for creating applications are given. The stages of application creation are characterized: selection of the target audience, definition of purpose and functionality, type of application interface, selection of tools for application creation, application creation, application testing, improvement of the developed application. Examples of applications that can be created by future computer science teachers for further use in professional activities are offered: own website, testing system, reference book, application with presentations to educational material and tasks, guest book, forum, etc. The creation and use of applications by future computer science teachers ensures the formation of pupils' interest in computer science lessons, because pupils often use applications for personal needs, rather than educational.

Arloopa is an augmented reality application that enables the integration of digital content such as images, sounds, texts into real world environments. By another definition the Arloopa app is an AR visualization tool that brings the physical and digital worlds together as one. Arloopa is an augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) app and game development company which provides advanced AR and VR services, such as: cloud-based augmented reality services, custom branded augmented reality app and game development, virtual reality app and game development, 2D and 3D content creation. In this study, the integration of Arloopa application into educational environments and application examples are presented within the scope of augmented reality applications course at a government university in Turkey. In addition, in this research, the presentation of the Arloopa application within a course unit and tips will be given to be used in future research on the integration of the application into education. At the end of the process, an interview form was prepared to determine opinions from the students about the Arloopa application and the use of augmented reality applications in education in general. The interview form prepared by the researcher was applied to 27 students within the scope of the course. According to the results obtained; the students found the use of augmented reality applications in education useful in terms of making the lesson fun, providing permanence in learning, and improving creativity skills. Despite all these positive aspects, the fact that some apps are salaried is accepted as the biggest limitation.

The Microsoft Teams application is one of the learning applications that can be applied to online distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic, with the application of the Microsoft Teams learning application, teachers can increase students' interest/motivation in learning while they are at home. This study aims to analyze the implementation of history learning, the application of the Microsoft Teams application, and the obstacles encountered by history teachers using the Microsoft Teams application in learning history. This type of research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were 1 history teacher and 5 students in class XII IPS 5 whose learning was done through the Microsoft Teams application. The trial of this research was in class XII IPS 5 with 35 students. Data collection methods used interviews, observations and take notes. Analysis of the data used is the Analysis Interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that learning history during distance learning using the Microsoft Teams application can still run smoothly, but this condition can also affect the interaction of teachers and students in learning. The teacher has been able to apply the Microsoft Teams application in learning because there are media that support the teacher during online learning, the learning media in question are the meter, quiz, padlet and group room. The obstacles encountered by the teacher in learning history by implementing the Microsoft Teams application were mainly on the internet network so that students were quite passive in carrying out history learning.

Many cloud services utilize an API gateway, which enables them to be offered to users through API platforms such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and cross-platforms APIs. APIs are designed for functionality and speed by developers who write a small portion of code, which has visibility and is secure. The code that is created from third-party software or libraries has no visibility, which makes it insecure. APIs are the most vulnerable points of attack, and many users are not aware of their insecurity. This paper reviews API security in cloud applications and discusses details of API vulnerabilities, existing security tools for API security to mitigate API attacks. The author’s study showed that most users are unaware of API insecurity, organizations lack resources and training to educate users about APIs, and organizations depend on the overall security of the network instead of the security of standalone APIs.

Substantially the direction of distance learning must really be an alternative that can support education. The Microsoft Teams application is one of the learning applications that can be applied to online distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic, with the application of the Microsoft Teams learning application, teachers can increase students' interest/motivation in learning while they are at home. This study aims to explain the implementation of mathematics learning, the application of the Microsoft Teams application, and the obstacles encountered by mathematics teachers using the Microsoft Teams application in learning mathematics. This type of research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were 1 mathematics teacher and 5 students in class XI IPS 5 whose learning was done through the Microsoft Teams application. This research trial was in class XI IPS 5 with 35 students. Data collection methods used interviews, observations and take notes. The data analysis used is the Analysis Interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results show that 1) learning mathematics during distance learning using the Microsoft Teams application at Perintis 2 Senior High School Bandar Lampung can still run smoothly, but this condition can also affect teacher interaction. and students in learning. 2) the teacher has been able to apply the Microsoft Teams application in learning because there are media that support the teacher during online learning, the learning media in question are the meter, quiz, padlet and group room. The obstacles encountered by the teacher in learning mathematics by implementing the Microsoft Teams application are mainly on the internet network so that students are quite passive in implementing mathematics learning. This finding leads to a recommendation for the government to develop learning media in the Microsoft Teams learning application so that it can improve student and teacher understanding in learning mathematics during distance learning.

To demonstrate the sequential nature of the college application process, in this paper I analyze the evolution of applications among high-achieving low-income students through data on the exact timing of SAT score sends. I describe at what point students send scores to colleges and which score sends ultimately become applications, resulting in three main points. First, score sends are not synonymous with applications—rather, only 62 percent of score sends in this sample turn into applications. Second, the conversion from score send to application is nonrandom as it relates to college characteristics: Score sends are more likely to convert into applications when they are to colleges with lower tuition, higher graduation rates, and relatively near a student's home. Third, the timing of score sends is related to the probability of its becoming an application, whereby score sends sent relatively early are least likely to become applications. These facts imply that there is room for improvement when modeling the application process and, in addition, the timing of an intervention or policy may be critical to its success.

The present study was undertaken to investigate the attractiveness of boll weevil adults by its aggregation pheromone under winter field conditions. Two experimental fields were utilized at "Casa Branca", SP, Brazil. For each one, three areas were established near the refuge vegetation, sparated 500 m from each other. Each area was divided in three sub-areas or blocks of 100 m² to receive pheromone applications (2.5 g per block). In addition to the pre-application counting, five additional evaluations were carried out after the pheromone applicaton. Ten randomized sampling points per block were considered in each evaluation process. A. grandis adults responded immediately to the pheromone applications, and were captured for 14 days . The highest level of attractiveness was observed 24 hours after application. The application of the boll weevil aggregation pheromone during winter could increase the predation by natural enemies, due to the increase of prey availability. Chemical control can be recommended 24 hours after pheromone applications in small plots as a between-season strategy for the suppression of boll weevil adults.

Purpose With the popularity of mobile applications and increasing consumer awareness of application privacy, this paper aims to introduce a new construct of service-privacy fit (i.e. the perceived degree of match between the service of a mobile application and a privacy permission request) to predict consumers’ mobile application adoption. Design/methodology/approach Four experiments were carried out to test the hypothesized relationships. The first study investigated the direct impact of service-privacy fit on application adoption and the mediators of benefit expectancy and privacy concerns. The second, third and fourth studies further applied the moderated mediation model to analyze the moderating roles of benefit message type, regulatory focus type and privacy assurance. Findings The results show that service-privacy fit influences application adoption not only directly but also indirectly via the mediators of benefit expectancy and privacy concerns. Furthermore, the findings confirm the moderators of benefit message type, regulatory focus type and privacy assurance. Originality/value Drawn from the perspectives of task-technology fit and information boundary theory, this paper introduces a new construct of service-privacy fit as a determinant of application adoption. Grounded in privacy calculus theory, it further explains this relationship through mediating effects of benefit expectancy and privacy concerns. Furthermore, this paper proposes that benefit messages and privacy assurance are effective coping strategies to increase the benefit expectancy and reduce the privacy concerns of applications. Based on the perspective of regulatory fit theory, this study further shows that the effects of coping strategies rely on personal traits. The findings enrich the existing knowledge of mobile application adoption and application privacy, suggesting that practitioners should consider mobile consumers’ perception of service-privacy fit when developing applications.

Although the Semantic Web data standards are established, ontology-based applications built on the standards are relatively limited. This is partly due to high learning curve and efforts demanded in building ontology-based Semantic Web applications. In this paper, we describe an ontology application management (OAM) framework that aims to simplify creation and adoption of ontology-based application that is based on the Semantic Web technology. OAM introduces an intermediate layer between user application and programming and development environment in order to support ontology-based data publishing and access, abstraction and interoperability. The framework focuses on providing reusable and configurable data and application templates, which allow the users to create the applications without programming skill required. Three forms of templates are introduced: database to ontology mapping configuration, recommendation rule and application templates. We describe two case studies that adopted the framework: activity recognition in smart home domain and thalassemia clinical support system, and how the framework was used in simplifying development in both projects. In addition, we provide some performance evaluation results to show that, by limiting expressiveness of the rule language, a specialized form of recommendation processor can be developed for more efficient performance. Some advantages and limitations of the application framework in ontology-based applications are also discussed.
