Pełny tekst źródłaContext-awareness can be used in tour guide applications in order to provide users with information and services. The majority of tour guide applications are usually developed for educational or historical review purposes. This paper presents a proof-of-concept of the unpublished audio tour guide application, “SoundTracker”, with the aim of improving it. The new “SoundTracker” prototype does not aim for educational or historical review purposes, instead it is aimed for recording, listening and sharing personal audio tour guides with friends and family. The proof-of-concept is limited by the defined research questions found in this paper. In summary, the accuracy of the read-in GPS coordinates of a user’s position is enhanced with Kalman filter, to give an enjoyable user experience. Additionally, the graphical user interface of the original prototype is improved and tested through web-surveys. As for the sharing functionality, a test application is created in order to find what necessary aspects need to be considered in the new "SoundTracker" prototype when a user wants to share a sound-walk with friends and family. The test application is tested based on responses obtained through a semi-structured interview from people in the age of 20-30 years. The obtained results indicate that, with use of Kalman filter, the location accuracy of the user is enhanced, which results in a sound-walk with less deviations compared to location accuracy of only GPS-sensor. Regarding the improved graphical user interface, users found the new "SoundTracker" prototype easier to understand, as well as to navigate through it, than the case in the original prototype. Users also find it interesting when a sharing function is implemented with the design that is discussed in this work.

In recent years, mobile phone companies have launched smart phones, such as Apple's iPhone. Google also launched Android operating system for the smart phones. Android provided an open platform for smart phones. Many websites now also provide specific services, such as Google Maps and so on. But if a user wants to use different services from different websites, this must be achieved using Mashup technique to create a service that is required. In this thesis, we used Android as platform to create mashup services for smart phones. Google Maps and Picasa were used to implement a new mashup application. Data are integrated and stored using SQLite, which can also be used for further mashups applications and data integrations. A Mashup Engine was designed on Android platform to mashup Google Maps and Picasa API data, and SQLite was used to store ad process data. The picture information from Picasa API are applied to Google Maps API, which provides map service, and the mashed up data are displayed on Android platform.

Bluetooth technology was proposed in 1999. Although it can transmit in high speed within short range, nevertheless the setting procedure is complicated for users. Since Google launched the first near-field-communication (NFC) smartphones on the Android platform, the simplicity and friendly design of its user-interface makes related applications sprang up like mushrooms. NFC provides data transmission between smartphones. Beside data transmission, NFC also can activate Bluetooth communication between two smartphones by tapping the back of these two smartphones, which can reduce the complexity of Bluetooth setting procedure. In this thesis, we develop a system which can set up Bluetooth transition automatically by using NFC P2P mode. To cope with the problem that official SDK doesn’t provide the method of transfer files by Bluetooth, we design a text-based file transfer module. Further, we compare our module with NFC P2P mode, the result shows that 4 KB is a crossover point between NFC and Bluetooth. If file size of the data transmission is less than 4KB, then NFC provides better performance; if file size is greater than 4KB, then Bluetooth provides better performance. We also developed three applications which are based on our NFC activated transmission modules, they are “Child Guard”, “Draw Together”, and “NFC memory game”. “Child Guard” is a Bluetooth-based parent assisted software which can warn parents when their child stays in the distance more than Bluetooth reachable distance. “Draw Together” provide two users take turns to draw pictures on their smartphones. “NFC memory game” is the same as classic poker game, which matches colors in the poker cards, but the game state is synchronous using Bluetooth communication.

Human-computer interaction has been much popular in recent years, especially in the field of entertainment and education. In our previous work, we presented a method of Kinect-based mid-air handwritten digit recognition for a potential application to TV remote controllers. Nevertheless, its recognition accuracy is only about 86.7%. In this thesis, we propose an improved method based on multiple segments and scaled coding. Experimental results show that the proposed method can elevate the accuracy up to 94.6%. Furthermore, we also present two applications combined with our improved method on Android smart phones. This system can be applied to dial without touching the smart phone. This can be implemented in the kitchen or hospital when user's hands are unable to touch the screen.

Many Taiwanese companies transformed themselves from production-oriented into service-oriented ones and the efficiency of their supply chains became critical in meeting the ever-increasing demands of their customers. With gradual development in mobile devices and wireless communication as well as with significantly improved accuracy of global positioning system, computerized business is keen to new technology in mobile logistics to provide consumers more thorough delivery service. What is so-called mobile logistics is instant messages via mobile equipment and information technology for logistic service providers to rapidly and accurately handle logistic processes and to reduce costs in tracking and monitoring logistic information. The kernel for this thesis is to adopt mobile logistics into delivery service. It is discussed on one hand that auxiliary applications like goods status registers, goods inspection registers, goods delivery registers, goods collection demand and goods collection registers may be required for logistic service providers in each delivery process and on the other hand that a goods management platform is available for logistic service providers to plan routes for logistic delivery drivers to collect and deliver goods and to monitor goods delivery flows. Web service technique is also in use to transfer coordinates of a freight truck to the database of the main remote server. When there are alterations to planned destinations or goods information, a backend platform can immediately inform freight truck drivers of the latest updates on the goods and planned routes to increase usability of freight trucks and reach the goal of cost reduction. Finally, using the Android smart phone interface design, functional components and data exchange technology to achieve designing and developing assisted mobile logistics systems in Android smart phone

The motion interactive technology has been an inseparable part in the daily life. In this paper, we proposed an Android smartphone to wirelessly control a RC car by Bluetooth (BT) protocol. We have developed six different control modes to remote control car to achieve the perfect smartphone and Bluetooth remote control car. The following modes have been implemented, namely push-button control mode, touch and drag control mode, handheld 3-axis somatosensory control mode, motion sense steering wheel 3-axis control mode, BT remote controlled auto-piloting collision avoiding mode and BT controlled following black line mode. These modes are handy on the development of RC car industry. The manufacture can come up more creative and more entertaining toy cars with these control modes. The most challenging of this paper is to calculate the car steering accurately parameters to control the car smoothly within 49 directions. With the accurate car steering parameters, one can be able to control the forward, backward, left turn and right turn of the car according to the 3-axis accelerometer data obtained from the motion sensing device. We also implemented the core algorithm of motion sensing for the android system and the MCU firmware of the remote control car in this thesis to make the core technology more available to the industry.

The hardware and software packages of smart phone devices (mobile device for short) are increasingly powerful. However, the present study was the lack of thinking about how to use mobile devices to assist in penetration testing (PT) for security network assessment, and make the best of its advantages of height portability, mobility, concealment to harden and extend the capability of security audit. Especially, the integration of the penetration testing environment based on mobile device with cloud computing is urgent need to further study and practical implementation for feasibility evaluation and potentiality exploration. Thus in this project, we are mainly to develop penetration testing platform based on mobile device running customized Android and Linux dual system simultaneously (short for mobile pentest platform). The mobile device will integrate with a lot of proper Android/Linux-based penetration testing tools and provide friendly Android UI instead of typing complex pentesting commands and writing programs. According to the limitation of mobile device hardware, the powerful computation, big storage, and enterprise penetration testing functions are supported by the back-end cloud services with GPU computing (short for pentest cloud platform). Mobile pentest platform can be used as a pivot to move pentest cloud platform around inside a private network (non-routable network) for penetration testing, control remote bypassing target IDS/Firewall through the ssh tunneling technique. The result of this thesis will not only include the related penetration testing packages for the use of cyber war missions and information security diagnostic to enhance the mobile network warfare units and security audit capabilities for network security assessment, but also comprehensively strengthen the penetration testing capability and security auditing practice skills by mobile device for the information manager、network defense professional、and cyber forensic.

Abstract When the criminal cases occurred, the opportunity for the law enforcement officers to come at once to the crime scene is very rare. It is because that the criminal cases occurred with sudden, and due to the fact that the victim may be panic, self-defense, or not familiar with the environmental factors, they will miss the opportunity to report to the law enforcement officers and miss the opportunity to preserve the evidences. As a result, most of the criminal cases are reported to the law enforcement officers after the incident. However this kind of passive way to report the cases can not deter the criminal efficiently, what is even worse is that it will procrastinate the response time of the law enforcement officers. The system and function of the former mobile is researched and developed separately by each mobile phone manufacturer; this is found out to be lack of integration. Due to the statement, it would be a great challenge to channel the mobile phone system into the reporting mechanisms. At present, the new smart phone with powerful function and accessible structure and design is able to improve the disadvantage. This research proposes a concept and put it into practice, that is to develop an App software (Digital Bodyguard) into smart phones. It allows users to contact the law enforcement officers immediately and with the most efficient way when they encounter urgent incident, and gathered the evidences of scene at the same time. In that case, smart phones can indeed deter the criminal efficiently when the criminal cases occurred, and enhance the efficiency of law enforcement officers. After put Digital Body Guard Report App into practicein this research, confirmed that the smartphone is applied to the reporting procedures not only keep personal safety into account, but also user can contact to the law enforcement officers through wireless networkand leave a message of record.Avoid the dilemmaof people who going out alone but no one to inform whereabouts. As well as the now violent urgency incidents can be more effective inhibitory effect.

Since the user of his smart phone is usually single and fixed, lots of personal information and traces must be remained in the device. Those data remained in the device can be acquired through technologies or tools of forensics, and that may lead to menaces and losses to information security, for this reason, it is imperative to protect the personal information. In this study, we will refer to destroying evidences, which is a classification of anti-forensic technology, and design an Android anti-forensic system which use Android API and ADB shell commands to implement the functions of logical and physical data deletion. In order to verify the result, we acquire the information, such as contacts, call logs and short message service et al. logically and physically before we delete them and then we acquire the information again, at last, we compare with the results in hexadecimal way. In this system we provide more effective and optional deletion functions without impeding the usage of smart phone for the user, and purposes to reduce the possibility of sensitive information leakage, and provides a counterexample to the mobile forensic tool developers.

Senior people may not be able to recognize the type of pill, and thus eating by mistake. Another possibility is the wrong frequency of pill taking in a day. The above are undoubtable critical issues in healthcare. Consequently, we develop an Android application to avoid the above scenarios. This thesis presents an efficient pill recognition method, which is useful in the application of healthcare. Specifically, an effective color segmentation called Pixel Matching Segmentation (PMS) with local adaptive thresholding (LAT) is utilized to segment the pill region, proposed a high accuracy shadow removal method with building codebook model in single image, where the geometric and rotation invariant imprint features are extracted with the aid of reference background. Since the imprint on the pill may not be clear in the image because of luminace variant, parametric oriented histogram equalization (POHE) is deployed to efficiently enhance the image, and the concentric circle masks is proposed to extract the imprint features. Subsequently, the libsvm is applied to train the model for pill recognition and classification. The proposed method is implemented on an Android mobile phone for testing and evaluation purposes. The proposed method yields a recognition accuracy of 99.07% of common 100 types of pill in Taiwan. Experimental results suggest that the proposed method can be an effective and convenient way for the application of pill recognition.

The advance of technology leads to the change of enterprises nowadays. For the purpose of creating revenue, enterprises consistently develop their R&D and innovation to improve customers’ loyalty. Most academic research on the loyalty of technology is focused on the technology itself such as usefulness and ease of use. When people pay their attention to what functions the customer needs, some important factor, the psychological experience in use of technology, has been ignored. The factor mentioned above will directly affect the customer loyalty. Past researches on exploring the psychological impact of using technology is more focused on the intention to use by playfulness and enjoyment, but the design of happiness is ignored and thus affects the user's loyalty. In this thesis, the theory of four senses of happiness proposed by Professor Hsipeng Lu was adopted in the design of smart phone to explore the extent that the happiness technology can affect customer’s loyalty in technology. The experimental results showed that the theory of four senses of happiness can be used to as a design element in the design of smart phone technology, and the customer's loyalty can be significantly affected through the design of happiness technology. It also shows that the differences in gender and mobile phone platform can cause different extent of happiness and loyalty. Finally, in the management practice, the study found that the number of smart phone applications and user-friendly interface can effectively improve customer's loyalty. Regarding to marketing perspective, different platforms and genders would require different strategic directions.

Over the past two decades, sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) has gradually been paid more attention in clinics. The SAS patients are suffering from long-term headache, memory loss, excessive daytime fatigue and other symptoms. It could also lead to cardiovascular disease. SAS could be divided into the central type and obstructive type, especially, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is as high as 90 percent. Nowadays, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is assessed by polysomnography (PSG) that must perform the overnight record in the hospital sleep center and the breathing disorders index (RDI) analysis. However, high cost, time-consuming and bed shortage make doctors must perform the patient screening before recommending the patients to take the sleep monitoring in hospital overnight. The current method of screening is from the information of the questionnaire and obesity level. However, such screening method is too subjective to lead to excess medical resources consumption and high medical cost. Therefore, this study aims to develop a portable sleep monitoring system as the objective screening for OSA. This system is able to record four kinds of physiological signals including electrocardiogram (ECG), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory status and snoring. The system integrates with smart phone as a back-end display, storage and computing device with Bluetooth wireless technology. The hardware of system is embedded and modular. It has several advantages, including miniaturization, low cost, small amount of sensors and high portability. The software design of the system is based on Android application. The software, RR interval and heart rate immediately obtained from ECG lead II. The respiratory rate and respiratory intensity can be obtained from ECG lead V1 through the algorithm. In addition, it has a digital low-pass filter for signal filtering. Moreover, the system has a user-friendly user interface that could be widely accepted.

As the advances of mobile technologies, more and more organizations are able to and willing to provide mobile services. In addition, organizations may provide application interface (API) to encourage APP developers to develop APPs to increase user number of their services. In this case, mobile service providers usually request users to provide ID/passwords to authenticate the users. However, if the mobile service providers let APPs to forward user ID/passwords to them, malicious APPs may transmit user credential information to malicious APP developers. Therefore, the APP developers may access the mobile services on behalf of users without obtaining user consents. To address the issue, this study proposes a scheme for mobile service providers to request users to install authentication agents in their mobile phones. The agents obtain credential information from users directly to prevent the APPs obtaining the information. Moreover, this study proposes to enable users distinguish agents from agent through images set by users. The mobile services then authentication users and provide access tokens to the APPs through agents to access the services. While this study implements prototype of the proposed scheme in Android Operating System, the proposed scheme can hopefully enhance the security of mobile services in the real world.

Smart phone industry ,No matter at present or future were always a super star in the electronic industries, Because of its focus on the diverse functions of an integrated, In addition , The users can create more value-added from this device , Therefore, my research is focus on the most popular platform- Android open resource platform as the target of this study, I hope that the smartphone successful critical factors of product development was explored thoroughly by the theoretical basis in the rigorous and comprehensive study, this study was based on analysis of critical success factors within the industry / business analysis experts, industry structure analysis, as well as the industry leader analysis ,then, use to statistical software SPSS 12 for running the principal axis factoring procedure, then, the study will get key factors and definition the factors group name ,In addition, they get reliability analysis of the credibility of variable factors, all factors in this study the Cronbach''s α reliability values are greater than the permissible level of 0.7 Consistency , So I have been gotten all of key factors of the credibility and then was supported this study. Then, we are also ran the single, multiple regression analysis in all of the key factors , and looking for significant and correlation in all of the critical factors , According to we were getting the all of critical factors of the significant and correlation to draw the structure factor map from path analysis method , In order to make a clear critical successful factor vision and the principle map from this study ,Finally,we were proceeding a conculsion from u the structure factor map, the views of industry experts, the OHA alliance with the relevant factors, as well as the leader of the successful model. This study has been the key successful factors map, it is a total of 12 key factors, which contains the initial seven key factors of the simulation and also found five key factors , the extra five key factors are related with other variables in the community, as well as the open resource platform. Therefore, the key successful factors map is relationship between in the development of the Android open resource platform and smart phone manufacturers, it could develop a complete and high feasibility of development process at Android handset product as a reference for smart phone manufacturers; It is the important factors in beginning from initial source code that we would like to search the products which was made up by the initial source code in the present study, due to the initial source code must be passed through the process of information sharing in order to brought the value of information sharing for the development of new products manufacturers, OHA alliance, as well as the user community from the open source platform ,This study was also discovered the key factor map of this diagram in project management, knowledge management, product design and quality features, as well as consumer demand were relevance, this factor group is meaning a set of standard internal product development processes, The project management and consumer demand are negative correlation between their relationship , Therefore, when the product design needs to consider with consumers demand, then pass through a certain process management, it is beginning of the implementation at project management; but decided to implemented the case, The consumer demand must be limited, because after beginning of project management. Then,it needs a fixed development time and fixed development costs, also, the sector units of inter-departmental communication and coordination, the preparation of a fixed project team and so on, if we are followed the consumer demand for changing the original definition of product features anyway,it was impacted the whole existence of the valueable in project management and related development costs ,also the most important impact is the time cost actually, due to the most important requirement is Time to market at this stage, Therefore,The products can be listed on the market that is the most important purpose. In addition ,desides these above key factors , To collocate with the OHA alliance and innovation, opened software development kit as well as the product life cycle, such as these relationship between external factors, We would make up a complete product development process with Android platform.
