The state of modern exhibitions is considered, the latter being an important means of communication between producers and consumers in the Ukrainian market under market economy. Exhibitions reflect the material, technological, information, and communication development; they have become a standardized price indicator, an economic and political platform forecasting changes in supply and demand in the global agricultural market, and a globalized phenomenon with economic, political and socio-cultural content. The author argues that international agricultural exhibitions and fairs are the most effective tools for studying the situation in the agro-industrial market, finding potential consumers, establishing business and cooperation contacts, setting up business cooperation and integration, searching for investors, and more. The article characterizes such leading international agricultural exhibitions as: “Agritechnica”, or the International Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment in Hanover; IGW Berlin (International Green Week), which is the largest platform for exhibiting equipment and products of the food industry, agriculture and horticulture; International Green Week (IGW); EuroTier Hannover, or the International Exhibition of Livestock and Poultry; SIMA Simagena Simavip, which is an agricultural exhibition in Paris; SIA (Salon International de L'agriculture), or Paris Agricultural Salon, specializing in animal husbandry, horticulture and food; AgriEquip, or International Modern Agricultural Equipment & Technology Exhibition held in Shanghai; the international exhibition of Warsaw Food Expo in Poland; and International Agro-Industrial Exhibition in Kyiv. It is argued that participation in exhibitions strengthens the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, create long-term mutually beneficial partnerships, increase the enterprise’s domestic and foreign trade, and promote agricultural and food products in other market segments.

The exhibition industry plays a strong role in promoting economic development. Agricultural exhibitions have the functions of promoting the production and marketing of agricultural products, displaying agricultural products, cultivating brands, and insight into agricultural development trend. Agricultural exhibitions play an important role in improving the scientific and technological level of agriculture and extending the agricultural industry chain. In the context of China's implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, local governments actively promote rural economic development and achieve rural revitalization by holding agricultural exhibitions. This paper conducts empirical analysis on the data of China Agricultural Exhibition held in the 10 years from 2012 to 2021, and conducts multiple regression analysis on the panel data of agricultural exhibitions held in various provinces of China in the 10 years by using Stata17 software to find out the factors that affect the development of agricultural exhibitions, so as to promote the high-quality and rapid development of agricultural exhibitions, thus promoting rural development and realizing rural revitalization.

The aim of the article. The purpose of this article is to study the features of exhibition and fair events in the marketing communication policy of agro-industrial enterprises of Ukraine, in order to find out their impact on the economic activity of the agricultural sector. Within the scope of the article, it is expedient to single out such tasks as clarifying the role of exhibitions (fairs) in the policy of promotion of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine; research of the connection between the communicator and the audience in the process of exhibitions and fairs in agrarian business; building a communication model of agricultural enterprises during exhibition and fair events; assessment of Ukrainian agribusiness participation in international exhibition events in Ukraine and abroad; clarification of the role of marketing communications of agricultural enterprises operating in the B2B market. Analyses results. Exhibitions and fairs have become particularly relevant in many businesses due to their high level of efficiency. For the agricultural sector of Ukraine, such marketing communications occupy a special place in the promotion policy due to the possibility of building close and long-term relationships between producers, consumers, suppliers and intermediaries. At exhibitions and fairs, agricultural companies present not only themselves or their brand, but also the products themselves, their properties, action and functional characteristics. Due to the professional and technical visibility of such appeals, the possibility of providing any information that is interesting to the consumer, the effectiveness of such means of marketing communications increases. Moreover, despite the availability of modern methods of contact with consumers, in the agricultural sector there is a growing need to explain the operation of complex products and technologies, to share experience in the use and quality of products, to make personal contacts with various participants within the global market. The article examines the activity of Ukrainian agribusiness in exhibition events both inside the country and abroad. Attention is drawn to the relevance of exhibitions due to the need to study technologies, search for ideas, get acquainted with various participants of the market exchange. The active participation of Ukrainian agro-industrial enterprises in the demonstration of their achievements at international exhibitions is emphasized. This indicates the high level of agricultural production in Ukraine, the use of modern technological achievements and the desire to improve and expand sales markets. Conclusions and directions for further research. Exhibition and fair events occupy a special place in the marketing communications of agricultural enterprises. Thanks to them, Ukrainian agribusinesses get new opportunities for improvement, cooperation, and finding new sales markets. Exhibitions are able to provide two-way communication between the sender and the recipient of the request: sending, receiving, and reaction are simultaneous. This allows the agricultural company to quickly understand the achievement of the communication effect, and, therefore, to increase the efficiency of the production and marketing of the agricultural enterprise. The effectiveness of exhibitions and fairs is high due to the professional and technical visibility of such events and the possibility of providing all important information to the visitor. According to the CEIR Exhibition Census organization, almost half of the contacts at exhibitions end with the signing of agreements. Thanks to these marketing communications, agricultural producers build close and long-term relationships with their target audience. To an even greater extent, this applies to those companies operating in the B2B market. At the same time, the proposed model of communication of agricultural enterprises during exhibitions and fairs indicates a number of distracting factors in the process of such events. Accordingly, it is necessary to take care of a clear understanding of messages by the target audience.

The article provides an overview of trade fairs for breeding cows at the international and regional levels in a historical context. The purpose of such exhibitions is an exchange of practical experience in breeding cattle of various breeds, promotion of selection achievements of the best farm businesses, identification of champion cows based on comprehensive assessment. An animal exhibition is also a show consisting of various entertainments, contests, including events for children. This is a place for spending time with one’s family, for communication, having meals, buying souvenirs, etc. The paper offers a description of the summarized experience accumulated and acquired at international cow exhibitions in foreign countries. Using “The Royal” exhibition as an example (Toronto, Ontario, Canada), an insight is provided into certain features of preparing cows for exhibition or subtle details of cow styling. It has become customary in Ukraine to hold Agroindustrial Exhibition in early June on the premises of the Expocentre of Ukraine, National Complex in Kyiv. One of the major events of this exhibition is the Animal EX display – demonstration and auction of breeding animals. CHAIKA State-Owned Company (Boryspil District, Kyiv Region) is a permanent participant in cow exhibitions. The article provides an analysis of milk productivity of show cows during higher lactation (both in the first 305 days of lactation and in the entire lactation period), including per generation, within a decade (2011-2019). In that period show animals also withdrew from the herd, so their lifetime production and breeding capacity were also assessed. It is concluded that cattle exhibitions are one of the main tools for selection and pedigree breeding. Such events are necessary for the successful development of dairy cattle breeding, for exchange of experience, development of new methods of selection, animal management and feeding technologies, an extension of the information field in that sphere.

Disseminating knowledge and information within the farming community in a short period is a difficult task in developing countries. In the present era, social media may mislead the farming community, resulting in heavy losses. So, agricultural exhibitions based on the principles of ‘Seeing is believing’ & ‘Learning by doing’ must be planned to provide a real site of state-of-the-art advanced technologies developed by different agencies. So, the present study was conducted to analyze the impact of the Live Agricultural Expo, i.e. Krushik-2024, to get information regarding the behaviour and feedback of farmers visiting the Exhibition. The study reveals that the interest of young generation agricultural students is increasing in the agriculture sector. Moreover, live demonstration exhibitions/ farmer’s fairs/ technological weeks like “Krushik” can play a crucial role in the development of the farming community. It has emerged as an excellent platform through which advanced technologies from both public and private sectors can effectively disseminate within a short period.

The article focuses on the exhibition activities of the Ukrainians, which were reflected upon in periodicals. In particular, it analyzes the organizational aspects and features of fairs and exhibitions of the agricultural products that were held upon the initiative of economic institutions and public organizations such as «Silskyi Hospodar» («The Farmer»), «Maslosoiuz», «Tsentrosoiuz», RSUK («The Auditing Union of Ukrainian Cooperatives»), «Soiuz ukrainok» («The Union of Ukrainian Women»), «The Ukrainian Folk Art» («Ukrainske narodne mystetstvo»), «The Hutsul Art» («Hutsulske mystetstvo»), «The Beekeeping Union» («Pasichnycha spilka»), «Rii» («The Swarm»), «Prosvita» («The Education») county unions, cooperatives, etc. Economic educational institutions also took part in the exhibitions. The first Ukrainian agrotechnical exhibitions were held in Stryi in 1909 and 1907, and later they took place in various Halychyna towns and villages, including Staryi Sambir, Dashava, and Sokal. Cooperative figures, such as D. Sembratovych, E. Olesnytskyi, O. Nyzhankivskyi, O. Lutskyi, A. Zhuk, M. Khronoviat, etc., played an important role in the organization of the given exhibitions. The article outlines the main functions performed by the exhibitions and fairs and the range of goods in demand among the visitors. Each exhibition was divided into separate sections, where the passers-by and the buyers could get acquainted with the results of work of the Ukrainian entrepreneurs and farmers in crop production, horticulture, vegetable growing, animal husbandry, beekeeping, crafts, and agricultural equipment. «Maslosoiuz» products, folk art products, and a wide range of medical products were especially popular at agro-technical exhibitions. Exhibitions and fairs were the manifestation of competitiveness in the local market, a factor of the region's economic and cultural development, as they were accompanied by entertainment and educational activities, including lectures, speeches, and presentations of new economic publications. This paper discusses the first experiences with the newly-developed KAVA-model. This model works on cash basis and evaluates cash inflow, outflow and Net Cash-Flow (NCF) in connection with four different interest groups connected to the given exhibition. The model was tested on four different exhibitions: Farmerexpo (Debrecen, Hungary) in 2005 and 2006, OMÉK (Budapest, Hungary) from 2005 and PolagraFarm (Poznan, Poland) 2006.The different fairs can be compared by their relative „economic values” that makes the auditing more reliable.

Introduction. Since 1820s, it became customary in the Russian Empire to hold various exhibitions - dedicated to manufacture and consequently industry; agricultural, local and national, as well as take part in international exhibitions. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, the number, scale and thematic diversity of such exhibitions grew significantly. Exhibitions related activities, which claimed such wide range and popularity, marked the change in public thought process about the new economic structures being established, and the understanding of the issues and risks associated with them, following industrial revolution. One of the problems identified was the deterioration of sanitary and hygiene conditions in cities, caused by growth in industrial production and population. Materials and methods. Catalogues of the Russian National Hygiene Exhibition of 1893 are the sources for this work. As well as documenting activities of the exhibition, they contain illustrative materials, scientific and academic reports on urban life, data from the periodicals of that era, in the study of which historico-typological and historico-descriptive methods are used. Results. In the majority of differently themed exhibitions, natural science and medical sections were established, which confirmed the need for targeted development of medical and sanitary aspects. These sections, which were partly organised by scientific societies, were seen, for example, at the Polytechnic Exhibition in 1872, the Craft Exhibition in 1885, Siberian-Ural Scientific and Industrial Exhibition in 1887 in Ekaterinburg, and Scientific and Industrial Exhibition of the Volzhsko-Kamskii region in Kazan in 1890. Finally, in May 1893, Russian National Exhibition was opened in St Petersburg dedicated solely to the development of sanitary and hygienic issues. Exhibition’s organisers declared enlightenment to be its main goal- popularisation of knowledge, scientific discoveries, and inventions in the field of hygiene and sanitation. A large number of state institutions and departments, scientific and public organisations, and private entrepreneurs helped to prepare this exhibition, presenting about 50 thousand exhibits that describe all aspects of human life from both medical and sanitary points of view. Various models and mockups, drawings, sketches and photographs, devices, equipment and tools, demonstrated achievements both in scientific and practical terms. Conclusion. This exhibition attracted high levels of attention, and its exhibits convincingly proved existence of serious problems and threats in the area of public hygiene and sanitation. It became apparent that in order to solve these on a contemporary level, it was necessary to rely on joint scientific and technological resources. Russia’s participation in the World Hygiene Exhibition in 1911 was another step in this direction, followed by the launch of Russia’s second National Hygiene Exhibition in 1913, the footprint of which grew even larger. @ 2023. The expositions stagedby Hungarian liberals in the nineteenth century—the modest Pest industrial fairs of the 1840s; the agricultural hibitions of the counterrevolutionary 1850s; the Pest agricultural exhibition in 1865; the three provincial industrial exhibitions of the 1870s in Kecskemét, Szeged, and Székesfehérvár; the successful national exhibition in Budapest in 1885; and the lavish Millennium Exhibition of 1896—conformed to the wider European and American pattern of expositions. Between 1876 and 1916 some one hundred million Americans attended expositions; over 20 percent of the U.S. population attended Philadelphia's Centennial Exposition of 1876. Over forty-eight million people passed through the turnstiles of the Paris Exposition of 1900. The three million who attended the 1896 Hungarian Millennium Exhibition were well aware that they were participating in a distinct rite of industrial civilization. Although the Hungarian numbers were far smaller, it is wrong to assume that the Hungarian nationl fairs were copycat undertakings.

The history of creation and activity of the Tambov Agricultural Society in 1902–1914 are analyzed. The reasons for the establishment of the organization, the administrative structure and the financial situation of the Society are described, the role of individual figures in its work at different stages of its development is demonstrated. The relevance of the study is determined by the necessity of filling the historiographical gap in the study of agricultural cooperation in the pre-revolutionary period. The novelty of the work is determined by the complex nature of the Society activities in the sphere of Tambov crop cultivation and animal husbandry. It is demonstrated that the development of the system of social cooperation of Tambov landlords was caused by the desire to rationalize individual estates. The efforts of members of the Tambov Agricultural Society concerning the organization of agricultural exhibitions in 1904 and 1912 are described, the results of exhibition activities are summarized and the importance of creating a permanent exhibition infrastructure for the work of a public organization is evaluated. The reasons for publishing its own agricultural journal (Agricultural Life) are indicated, the number of copies of the publication and its accessibility for Tambov owners are assessed. A description is given of the efforts of the members of the Society to create the Tambov stud book, analyzes the circumstances of its creation and the conditions for the inclusion of livestock in the register are analyzed, the role of the stud book in the development of Tambov animal husbandry in the early twentieth century is indicated. The high importance of cooperative associations for the development of agricultural production, the introduction of advanced principles of agronomy in the local practice of agricultural production is shown. It is demonstrated that, based on the best practices of agricultural activity, Tambov social activists have proposed a number of initiatives that contribute to the revival of certain branches of agriculture of the region.

Agriculture is the mainstay sector for Tabanan Regency, especially Jatiluwih Village, Penebel District. Most of the people, 87%, have their main livelihood in the agricultural sector, namely: rice farming, plantations and animal husbandry. There is organic farming land and horticultural farming land with a land area of 114.59 hectares. This service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the target community regarding product branding in an effort to increase the added value of agricultural products. The methods used in this service activity are observation, interviews, discussions and lectures, where the implementing team conducts dialogues discussing agricultural product branding. The results of the service show that strengthening agricultural products through product branding is able to develop, promote and build public brand awareness of agricultural products. In this way, agricultural products are able to compete in product exhibitions and can be used as souvenirs typical of the Jatiluwih Tourism Village, which has an impact on improving the community's economy significantly

Agricultural shows are important events in rural and regional Australia. For over a century, they have often been the main annual festival on any given town's calendar. This importance makes the lack of scholarly attention to rural and regional shows puzzling. Recently, Australian exhibitions and agricultural shows have come in for some very welcome scholarly attention, although very little has been written about rural and regional events. Scholars such as Kate Darian-Smith and Sara Wills, Joanne Scott and Ross Laurie, Judith McKay, and Kay Anderson have all written on exhibitions and shows – although, of this group, only Darian-Smith and Wills have written on rural shows, the rest focusing more on inter-colonial and metropolitan Australian shows. Even Richard Waterhouse's groundbreaking study of rural Australian cultural history, The Vision Splendid, provides little detail on agricultural shows and their role in rural cultural life, although the show's importance is recognised.

The article analyzes the situation in agricultural universities career guidance work. 14 universities selected to that end. Based on content analysis of university websites, counting the number of keyword mentions in the media and studying scientific literature, it was revealed that universities spend a lot of effort to attract applicants. The following career guidance events are held: university open days, profile lectures, master classes, quests and competitions. Universities participate in the speciality fairs, organize excursions and exhibitions, conduct courses for applicants, cooperate with the media and are blogging on social networks. Advanced universities create specialized agricultural classes in schools; university professors supervise schoolchildren’s scientific projects. Championships and contests are organized, for example, “Junnat”, “VetSkills”, etc., as well as regional stages of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in profile subjects, thematic educational intensives for schoolchildren. But as a result, the personnel issues of the agriculture enterprises are not solved: many graduates do not work in their speciality. In order to retain specialists in rural areas, it is necessary to develop the social infrastructure in rural areas (schools, hospitals, clubs) and to make efforts to restore the prestige of agriculture as a whole.

China is a big agricultural country, as well as a major producer and exporter of agricultural products. In recent years, China's agricultural economy has been developing continuously, the foreign trade of agricultural products has been expanding constantly, and the trade of agricultural products has developed rapidly. With the advent of the Internet era and the deepening of market competition, the development of China's agricultural industry gradually shows a trend of brand, China's Ministry of Agriculture and villages has continuously strengthened its top-level design, designated 2017 as the "year of Agricultural Brand Promotion", issued the "opinions of the Ministry of Agriculture and villages on speeding up the Promotion of Brand strengthening Agriculture" in 2018, and guided and launched the construction of China's agricultural brand catalogue system in 2019, providing a policy guarantee for agricultural brand construction. All localities, in accordance with the idea of "building a brand, bringing an industry alive, rich farmers", rely on the advantages of resources, highlight planning and guidance, promote brand work as a whole, and promote the rapid development of characteristic industries. Planting brand, animal husbandry brand, fishery brand, rural characteristic brand, "China Land Reclamation" brand, cooperative brand and other industry brands have developed vigorously. Actively use the Agricultural Fair, Tea Fair and other well-known domestic exhibitions to promote brands to create a good atmosphere for development. With the help of modern information technology and media, we can innovate brand marketing and effectively improve the brand influence of agricultural products. This paper analyzes the development stage of China's agricultural brand construction, summarizes the characteristics of China's agricultural brand development, points out the main problems existing in the development of China's agricultural brand. In order to improve the competitiveness of Chinese agricultural brands in the international and domestic markets, the development trend of Chinese agricultural brands is put forward.

The purpose of the study is to highlight the specific features of the European poster of the 1890s. of the time of its formation on the example of the line of exhibition posters (art posters) of the leading directions of the Art Nouveau style. Methods of research. During the writing of the study, a historical and cultural approach was applied and a systematic approach was used for art-historical, stylistic, and comparative artistic analysis. The scientific novelty consists in conducting an overview art analysis of the exhibition posters of the leading European countries (Great Britain, Germany, Austria and Poland) in comparison with the generalized regularities of the French posters of the period of the 1890s. It was determined that the posters for author’s, personal and group art exhibitions have unique features, and it was outlined all distinctive features of this type of artistic production. The work of the «Glasgow Four» (C. R. Mackintosh, J. G. McNair, the Macdonald sisters) in the field of linear direction posters and the works of other authors were considered. Features of linear organization and individual floreal elements in the posters of German-Austrian Secession artists (F. von Stuck, L. von Hoffmann, P. Behrens, G. Klimt, K. Moser, J. Olbrich and others) were identified on the occasion of various level exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Vienna in the 1890s. The parameters of the formation of the national and romantic trend in the exhibition poster of Polish artists F. Wygzywalski, Y. Mehoffer, J. Bukowski, and T. Aksentowicz were determined. Visualization techniques were analyzed, taking into account the specifics of the poster and general stylistic trends in the art of those years. Considerable attention was paid to highlighting the regional features of poster design in the specified countries, as well as the features of the authors’ individual style within these regional models. Conclusions. In the general cultural and historical context of the time, the exhibition poster was an important component of the formation of national trends in the artistic style of the time, primarily floreal, linear, national-romantic. Reflecting the stylistic guidelines of the time, the exhibition poster, aimed at a wide audience, contributed to the formation of a holistic artistic vision as a manifestation of the cultural and artistic guidelines of the specified period.

In the proposed article, on the basis of the materials of the Moscow Society of Agriculture identified in the fund of the Central Scientific Agricultural Library. With the involvement of the developments of researchers on the history of agrarian thought in Russia in the 19th and early 20th centuries, forms of communication between the scientific and professional communities are determined for the modernization of the agricultural sector of agriculture after the peasant reform of 1861 of the year. The publication highlights the main forms of communication: the publishing activity of the Society, the organization of exhibitions and congresses. To assess the large-scale activities of the Moscow Society of Agriculture for 110 years, a brief overview of its practical work is presented, and the role in the agrarian rationalization of agriculture in Russian historiography is revealed. Members of the Moscow Society have made a significant contribution to the study of the state of agriculture, ways of evolution and methods of increasing its productivity. On the example of materials from three All-Russian congresses on agronomic assistance to the population, the organizational aspects of resolving issues of agricultural management in the regions of Russia. The role and significance of the public initiative is especially valuable today, when the problems of innovative renewal and modernization of the agricultural sector are becoming a national task. For its successful solution, the documents of the congresses can be useful, since they make it possible to trace the genesis of the processes of agricultural development in various thematic areas and economic zones in historical terms and to avoid possible mistakes in decision-making.

The purpose of this collective instrumental case study was to understand the motivational factors that support families’ decisions to exhibit livestock. The expectancy value theory served as the theoretical lens, and a review of literature led to four issues to be explored. Four typical family cases were identified, and interviews were conducted. Five In-Vivo themes were identified: (a) “a family tradition,” (b) “bonds us together,” (c) “on-the-job training for life,” (d) “joys and discomforts of agricultural life,” and (e) “the show industry.” It was concluded that families value tradition, family togetherness, the agricultural community, work ethic, and the development of life skills critical for the success of their children. Winning, as traditionally defined in the show ring, was not the expectation. Rather, families expected to grow together, enjoy their time, and be competitive. The perceived family utility outweighed the noted costs. It was recommended that all stakeholders in the livestock exhibition community identify ways to enhance family involvement and work to reward ethical behaviors.

The Exhibition Hall Museum of Seversk was opened on December 24, 1987 as an exhibition hall. In the first years of its existence, it hosted temporary exhibitions from abroad, central museums of the Soviet Union, as well as exhibitions of local artists and the Children’s Art School. In the early 1990s, the government ceased to financially support traveling exhibitions. The museum faced the problem of how to fill its space. The archaeological excavations conducted by the Tomsk State University and the Seversk Archaeological Inspectorate, which were well known to the Seversk Administration, suggested the idea of creating a Department of Archeology and Ethnography at the museum. This Department was created in 1993. PhD of History P.E. Bardina, E.A. Vasilyev and L.M. Pletneva, came to the Department from the Tomsk State University. From the very beginning, they made it their goal to open a local history exhibition in a few years. In order to create its own collection, the museum needed to undertake archaeological and ethnographic expeditions. It developed a clear plan to excavate already known monuments and, with significant financial support from the Seversk Administration (then known as the City Council of People’s Deputies), brought this plan to life. The museum actively collected ethnographic materials in the surrounding villages. After each year of work, it presented exhibitions. At the same time, the museum developed a Scientific Concept and a Thematic Exposition Plan. In 1997, both documents were approved by the Scientific and Methodological Council of the museum. The Thematic Exposition Plan consisted of three sections: archeology, history of the first Russian settlement on the site of the future city, and ethnography. The exposition as a whole covers the ancient history, the Middle Ages, modern and contemporary times. The archaeological section presents exhibits dating back to the Stone, Bronze, Early Iron, and Middle Ages. The historical section demonstrates documents from archives on the history of the Virgin MaryAlekseevsky Monastery, religious items, photographs of churches from the surrounding villages and priests, a copy of a fragment of the S.U. Remezov’s map. A model of a Russian log cabin with three walls, a front corner and a Russian stove is the central part of the ethnographic exposition. Agricultural and haymaking tools, tools for handicrafts, such as cooperage and blacksmithing, as well as for women's handicrafts, are presented on the outer wall of the log cabin. At a certain distance from the log cabin, there is a hunting hut with tools for hunting, fishing and pine nut harvesting. The exposition is continually updated and supplemented. A particularly large update took place in 2009. In subsequent years, considerable attention was paid to the introduction of innovative technological developments into the exposition. Using the exposition, the museum provides guided tours, classes for schoolchildren and senior kindergarten groups on the basis of museum research and educational programs.

The place and role of the Romenske Rural Cooperative (hereinafter referred to as the Cooperative) and its branches in the reconstruction of the agricultural sector in Posullya are being explored. The Cooperative, established at the end of the 19th century, was one of the first in the region and became a unique phenomenon in agricultural research. From the early months of its activity, the Cooperative contributed to innovative improvements and the dissemination of agricultural technology, implementing progressive forms of management. Its established branches and research fields served as a link between science and practice. The Cooperative comprehensively promoted the development of agriculture in the region. It conducted significant educational work, addressed issues of credit acquisition for peasants, established a center for agricultural surplus, which not only sold products but also provided services for renting complex equipment and machinery. It actively organized agricultural exhibitions and fairs, encouraged farmers with awards, disseminated scientific literature, created a network of meteorological stations, mobile libraries, advisory-veterinary points, and more. The society, founded with the participation of local civic initiative, and its activities can serve as an example of reforming agro-industrial production in the context of the specific Posullya region. The Cooperative made a significant contribution to the development of scientific research, becoming an exemplar in implementing the gained experience into agricultural production.

Agricultural fairs constitute highly significant events within the agribusiness sector, facilitating the exchange of products and services while also contributing to society through lectures, training sessions, and technology exhibitions. Nonetheless, the literature remains notably scarce in addressing the administrative and managerial aspects of such events. The article aims to discuss managerial aspects of fairs and the societal impacts generated, as well as update the scientific community on research conducted in the field. A literature review was conducted, encompassing a total of 13 articles, which were categorized based on the thematic focus: geographical location, social impact, and management aspects. The limited number of countries studied is justified by the limited attention this subject has received within the scientific community. The surveyed articles predominantly emphasize the societal impacts generated by agricultural fairs, providing only superficial coverage of topics related to event planning and management. There is a clear need for more comprehensive research endeavors, encompassing a specific spectrum of agricultural fairs, to develop a specific and replicable methodology for such events. Additionally, efforts should be directed towards establishing mechanisms that enable ongoing monitoring processes to be undertaken by the responsible managers overseeing agricultural fair organization.

Historical wooden buildings can be seen not only in Japanese open-air museums and in the Japanese countryside, but also in the largest metropolises. On the individual Japanese islands we can find almost ten open-air museums, all of a different character. They include local, regional and national museums - thereby presenting several areas at the same time. Most of them are rural buildings that are primarily related to agricultural subsistence, while some of them also exhibit urban life. In addition to exhibitions of real life and thematic exhibitions, the museums also prepare such programmes as traditional festivities and handicraft courses. Numerous information boards in the museums that are visited, however, are already obsolete in terms of their technical workmanship and their graphics while at the same time they display a lot of information, which also makes the exhibitions chaotic. An interesting concept for using historic buildings is The Art House Project, where endangered buildings were offered to leading Japanese artists and architects for their up-to-date adjustment. A brief encounter with Japanese architecture at the same time confirms that the practical implementation of basic needs to ensure living is similar across the world.

The article argues the relevance and feasibility of using marketing tools to promote agricultural products. The peculiarities of the promotion complex of agro-industrial products related to the specifics of the agricultural market are determined. Thus, it was found that the choice of means and methods of promoting agricultural products is determined by specific factors that depend on the type of market in which the company operates (B2C and B2B), agriculture (agriculture, manufacturing, processing, infrastructure), goods life cycle stages, modern promotion trends used by leading agricultural companies.
The modern tendencies in the field of promotion of agricultural products, problems of application of creative in the process of promotion of agro - industrial products are resulted. The method of creativity SCAMPER (Substitute. Combine. Adapt. Modify. Put. Eliminate. Reverse), expediency of its application in the agricultural sphere is considered. Situations that do not allow to use a creative approach in finding solutions to promote agricultural products are analyzed.
The efficiency of using Internet resources to promote agricultural products is argued. The main advantage of digitalization is the scaling of agribusiness. For large B2B companies, this is a way to enter foreign markets, to establish work for export. For small and medium-sized businesses, this is an increase in brand awareness, a way to expand the market, to attract new customers.
The main types of available Internet resources for agribusiness are identified, including: free bulletin boards and forums on agricultural topics; online farm shops or aggregator sites that bring together producers and buyers; agricultural portals.
Features of traditional channels of Internet promotion in the agricultural sphere are considered. The essence of content marketing as a tool of creative approach to product promotion is revealed. It is determined that the development and presentation of interesting content in the agricultural market helps to attract the attention of various target audiences - from farmers and investors to shareholders of the agricultural holding.
A set of basic modern tools for creating successful content of agricultural companies has storytelling, videos, live broadcasts on social networks, webinars, 3D modeling, exhibitions in online format, sponsorship, participation in social projects, blogging. Examples of creative presentation of agricultural products by creating content are given. An analysis of the content of the surveyed companies suggests that with the help of well-developed, creative content there is a close emotional connection between the company and the consumer, strengthens trust in the brand, builds loyalty and increases sales.

The aim of the study is a comprehensive assessment of the activity, scientific and creative achievements of Professor Tomasz Nikodem Ścibor-Rylski in the development of the field of testing agricultural machines in the second half of the 19th century. To achieve the aim of the study, the principles of historicism, scientificity and objectivity of coverage of historical phenomena and events were used based on the application of the historical-scientific method, methods of analysis and generalization. For the first time, a number of archival documents were introduced into scientific circulation, which shed light on the scientist's activities in the field of testing agricultural machines. In the article, based on archival data, the available creative work of the scientist, the main stages of his activity in the issue of the origin and formation of tests of agricultural machines and tools are updated. The activities of Professor T. Rylski contributed to the birth of the scientific foundations of agricultural tests, the formation of the principles of rational use of agricultural equipment by farmers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The professor's long-term participation in various agricultural exhibitions and competitions led to the laying of the foundations for the creation of the first agricultural testing station in Dublyany on the territory of western Ukraine. Justifying the need to create a test station, T. Rylski relies on the importance of the transition from the "exhibition" method of testing agricultural machines to testing at specialized stations. The scientist believed that it is the scientific approach to testing that will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the use of agricultural equipment and reducing errors during its operation. The formation of the Dublyany Higher Agricultural School, as a powerful scientific and testing center on the territory of modern Ukraine and Poland, is connected with the scientist's name. The creative heritage of T. Rylski indicates his invaluable contribution to the emergence of the scientific foundations of agricultural equipment testing. Therefore, it is precisely the absence of a special comprehensive study of scientific, creative and organizational activity of a scientist in the historiography of science and technology that determines the relevance of this study.

Abstract The activities of Mexican banker and hacendado Zeferino Dominguez in the early twentieth century raise questions about the assumption that Mexico was merely the beneficiary of modern agricultural science developed in the United States. Dominguez was a banker and large landowner who turned his haciendas into private agricultural experiment stations, conducting research on better methods of growing corn, cotton, wheat, and beans with the labor of his peones. He shared his results through lecture tours and published works in Mexico and traveled extensively in the United States, speaking to groups of farmers and agricultural scientists about his methods of dry farming and corn propagation. He exhibited at agricultural fairs and exhibitions, attended Farmers’s Institutes and conferences, and published a manual for use by average American farmers. Like many agricultural reformers in the United States, he addressed the problems of rural poverty and land concentration not with socialism, but with visions of a Mexico filled with small, capitalistic, home-owning farmers producing with scientific methods and business efficiency.

AbstractThis article explores the visual culture of rural improvement in Germany, manifested in agricultural exhibitions, model farms and test plots. It argues that, following the English example, nineteenth-century experts increasingly believed that such material sites were the most effective way to persuade small farmers to embrace change and increase productivity. The presumption was that farmers were habitually keen observers who preferred to learn by seeing and that visual displays would alleviate their characteristic mistrust and build confidence in scientific advisers. The fact that these efforts coincided with the professionalisation of agronomy, the increased influence of scientists in rural policymaking and the rise of elite agricultural institutions revises the existing narrative of the spread of agricultural knowledge in Germany. Based on archival evidence from north-western Prussia, it is clear that many small cultivators responded enthusiastically to these sites, defying stereotypes of ‘dull-wittedness’ and ingrained suspicion of the new.

This paper deals with the analysis of risks which threaten the future sustainability and operations of agricultural museums in the Czech Republic. In the section on methodology, an applicable risk model has been proposed regarding the condition of museums in the Czech Republic. Using this model, the directors of agricultural museums can assess the most significant risks which may jeopardize the sustainability of museum operations over a three-year period. The greatest risks, according to museum directors, are a lack money for investment, the inability to retain high-quality staff, and issues with technical support for exhibitions. Assessing the importance of risk is positively associated with previous experiences of a particular type of risk, whereas the association of the importance of risk with previous managerial practice is rather inconclusive.

Integrated agricultural system is a management system (business) that combines agricultural components, such as plants, animals and fish in a unified whole. In addition to meeting the criteria for sustainable agricultural development, this system has a significant positive impact because it is organically based and developed/directed based on local potential (local resources). Warmadewa University offered a solution to the concept of integrated agricultural conservation starting from livestock and fisheries activities to post-harvest processing and encourage an entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation. The engineering provided was an efficient technology resulting from research from professional agricultural experts that has been published in various journals. Among them are the development of organic cultivation and diversification using the SNT (System Nutrient Tank) method for exclusive vegetables, super local breed chicken farming in accordance with national poultry standards, fisheries with the concept of aquaponics (hydroponic system and poly culture system) and post-harvest processing of agricultural, livestock and fishery products, with the concept of food processing supporting local wisdom, all of which were integrated and with the concept of zero waste. The method used in this activity were delivering material, training, practice and mentoring to young people who are members of the partner, DUDI Tamiang Bali Mandiri Foundation in the Agro Learning Center (ALC) group. These youth were given integrated agricultural knowledge as well as fisheries and animal husbandry and the processing of agricultural products with the concept of "zero waste" based on Tri Hita Karana (Balinese local wisdom). There were 5 activities in this program. The output of Unwar's Matching Fund activities with the Industrial World was a young generation who are competent and have competency certificates from the Professional Certification Institute through the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) for 8 people, and integrated agricultural training certificates for 25 people, so they are ready to be independent or work competent in agriculture. Other outputs were Activity Books and Standard Operation Procedure Books, IPRs, Modules, Product Launches, News in the Bali Post Newspaper, Product Exhibitions, Video activities, each targeted at one achievement target.

Abstract The article discusses the preservation of historical memory in the Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy and the transfer of teachers’ experience to future specialists of the agro-industrial complex. This work uses information from catalogs, exhibitions, expositions of the university, as well as information obtained as a result of interviewing experts-heads of museums. It is shown how the Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy pays great attention to the preservation of the continuity of generations. The introduction of students to the cultural heritage, the memory of their ancestors plays an important role in improving the quality of training of agricultural university students. A specialized museum forms many important properties and professionally orients a future specialist. It is in such a museum that a student can get the experience of personal contact with historical reality, samples of culture. He will gain the joint experience with time through a space containing values that have been preserved by historical memory. Eventually to be inspired by the idea of applying the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in practice, in farms. This is especially important in conditions of weak settlement of young specialists in rural areas. The feeling of professional pride does not arise by itself, it is formed gradually by getting acquainted with the cultural heritage. Thus, the museum in an agrarian university carries a heavy burden in the promotion of agrotechnical knowledge and the training of highly qualified agricultural specialists. It is concluded that the historical memory also acts as an important factor in the agriculture development in Udmurtia, contributing to its staffing.

Economic globalization has rapidly intensified the competition among businesses. Therefore, it is pivotal that SMEs follow competitive strategic positions and adopt strategic methods in order to confront the various challenges in this era. This study assessed the factors that determine the competitive strategic position of SMEs in the developing nations of Asia by considering the agro-based SMEs in Sri Lanka as a case study. By using primary data of 463 SMEs, the study estimated a binary logistic regression model to deal with the research subject. The findings revealed seven significant strategic variables: innovation in product and marketing, business exhibition in the local setting, gender, strategic market location, sustainable business practices, marketing efficiency, and business reputation and superior services. Moreover, the study identified and commented on seven insignificant variables: specialization in production, experience in the business field, experience in attending business exhibitions at overseas setting, credit market accessibility, provision of high-quality products, research and development, and strategic firm location, which are relevant in developed countries. Therefore, the government and policymakers must initiate measures to establish a more favorable business environment for SMEs to gain competitive advantage from these variables in the near future to permit an ameliorated and strong SME sector in Sri Lanka.

In this paper, systems for remote monitoring of equipment from various manufacturers are analyzed. Such systems are currently offered by a number of manufacturers of tractors and other mobile agricultural equipment. They are designed to management the operation of a diesel engine; hydraulic transmission management; management of working bodies (maybe several); active security; comfort and climate control; navigation, communications and other multimedia systems. However, in the literature there is no system analysis of them. Therefore, the aim of the study is to analyze and generalize advanced solutions in the development of remote monitoring systems of the largest domestic and foreign manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment. The development of remote monitoring systems of domestic and foreign manufacturers, including those awarded at the International agro-industrial exhibitions, were analyzed and summarized. The authors summarized the characteristics of monitoring systems and showed their application areas. The article discusses innovative telemetry and monitoring systems for agricultural machinery, which allow optimizing the process, making adjustments to the settings, planning maintenance, saving fuel, and increasing productivity.

The purpose of the article is to study the international cooperation of agricultural societies and its impact on the modernization of Ukrainian provinces. The author used comparative, chronological, problem and analytical research methods. On the basis of archival documents and the press of that time the author described and systematized new materials about the international activity of agricultural societies of the Ukrainian provinces. The author proves that it took various forms and contributed to the borrowing of useful foreign experience. It was found that international activities had developed from personal ties to mutual cooperation. The public’s tasks include holding numerous events. The author reconstructs the process of participation of members of agricultural organizations in various international events, including exhibitions. It was emphasized that these contacts were of mutual interest. They provided an opportunity for members of voluntary associations to learn from foreign experience. It is important that the experience was taken consciously. Considerable attention is paid to the initiatives of individuals – members of agricultural societies. The trips contributed to positive changes in society and the modernization of the region in general. The article examines the issue of conducting tours, practices for local landowners abroad by agricultural associations. The expediency of such forms of cooperation was realized by members of agricultural societies. The public understood the need for change. We drew attention to a wide range of countries with which representatives of agricultural societies cooperated. The public of the Ukrainian provinces was interested in foreign governmental and public institutions in the field of agriculture. There was a search for new forms of work, among which is the creation of the socalled American agency. Foreign relations of Volyn hop growers should be called indicative. The joint work of representatives of the Volyn Hop Society was carried out together with government experts, foreign partners, including Ukrainian cooperatives in London. The initiative of agrarian public organizations received government assistance, and export chambers were established. Agricultural societies became their active participants and co-founders. It is concluded that the adoption of foreign experience and contacts with foreign organizations and professionals have contributed to qualitative changes in society.

This study compares the level of awareness and adoption of innovative agricultural technologies among members and non-members of cooperative societies. This is to direct policies on the diffusion and adoption of agricultural technologies to facilitate increased food production as Nigeria’s economy strives for post-COVID-19 survival and recovery. A multistage technique was used to select a sample of 320 constituting 160 cooperative members and 160 non-cooperative members. Structured questionnaires were used to collect primary data, which was then analysed using both descriptive (Mean, standard deviation) and inferential (regression, ANOVA) statistics. The results suggest that awareness and adoption of new agricultural technologies are higher among members of cooperatives compared to non-members. This study advocates that cooperative societies are veritable vehicles for innovation diffusion. Some challenges of the farmers were explored, and the study recommended that new technologies should be introduced through cooperatives using Small Plots Adoption trial (SPAT) and increased deployment of extension workers to farmers. Furthermore, Cooperative farmers and non-cooperative farmers should be persuaded by the extension workers in ADP to attend agricultural exhibitions where the farm outputs of new technologies are displayed together with the outputs of the old technologies so that they can see the obvious difference and adopt the new technologies.

This research provided an in-depth analysis of the role of paradiplomacy practiced by the Government of South Sulawesi Province in enhancing agricultural exports to Egypt. The study utilized a conceptual framework integrating Paradiplomacy and International Trade, focusing on the impact of paradiplomacy policies on export volumes. The methodology was rooted in descriptive research, aiming to depict the findings clearly and comprehensively. Results indicated that the Government of South Sulawesi Province engages in the form of paradiplomacy termed global paradiplomacy, acting as a facilitator in international trade. Effective strategies for promoting exports included personal selling, public relations through webinars and training sessions, and participation in trade exhibitions. The research highlighted the crucial role of regional governments in boosting agricultural export volumes, supported by efforts in infrastructure development and service improvements. The application of global paradiplomacy enabled the Government of South Sulawesi Province to autonomously establish trade relations and expand market access to Egypt, leading to a significant increase in agricultural exports. This study offered a comprehensive overview of how paradiplomacy practices can positively impact regional agricultural exports, emphasizing the successful export promotion strategies and their outcomes. The findings demonstrated the effectiveness of paradiplomacy in fostering regional economic growth through international trade expansion.

An essay about a researcher who devoted his entire life to the study of nature and the creation of working collections and exhibitions of natural history museums. The researcher focused on the game fauna, both mammals and birds, and the formation of the collections of the Zoological Museum at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (Kyiv). The researcher is the author of 12 mammalogical articles, and in total, his work includes more than 80 publications and more than 200 collection specimens; some of them are also housed in NMNH, NAS of Ukraine. The author assumes that the researcher lived between 1903 and 1951 (48 years) and was repressed by the Soviet authorities.

The purpose of the article is to highlight the results of the half-year activity of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUKiM (KNUC&A) in the informational struggle against Russian aggression. The experience of creative resistance as a creative mission of students and teachers of the department in the period from February 24 to August 24, 2022, is analyzed from the standpoint of the concept of the “socially responsible initiative” of a graphic designer introduced by the author of the article. The purpose is also to compile pedagogical activities for the training of socially responsible graphic design professionals. Research methods. The empirical method, method of analysis, and synthesis were used. Numerous scholarly and journalistic materials on the social responsibility of the graphic designer were analysed. In addition, the methodological basis for the article was the review and systematisation of empirical material regarding the results of the activities carried out. Scientific novelty. Based on consideration of the “social responsibility” concepts from the management sphere and “initiative” from the pedagogy sphere in the context of a modern graphic designer activity, a new notion of “socially responsible initiative” is introduced. It is interpreted as one of the signifiers of professionalism. The author shows that the vectors of realization of the socially responsible initiative directly depend on the state of the society where the designer practices. On the example of the activities of the Graphic Design Department of KNUKiM, the manifestation of this professional characteristic in the conditions of full-scale Russian aggression in Ukraine is reflected. Coverage of collective creative activity of teachers and students is shown in the context of a pedagogical experiment that passed the self-organization stage and the organizational stage.
Conclusions. Modern visual communication is an area of constant interaction between different social groups of society, which graphic designers provide with their projects. The Department of Graphic Design of KNUKiM once again showed its creativity and progressiveness in the process of training design professionals. The team, made up of teachers and students, has made and continues to make a powerful contribution to the information front in Ukraine during the active phase of Russia’s war in Ukraine: more than 200 exhibition posters have been designed, and participation in international projects has been accepted, around 30 exhibitions have been organised and held in Ukraine and abroad. At the level of professional design communities, we organise landmark exhibitions in which the created works not only present a sharp reaction to the present but also model the future with their verbal and non-verbal codes.

The research object is agricultural unions formed in Eastern Siberia in the late 19th - the early 20th century. The research subject is reflected in the title of the article. The purpose of the research is to define the forms of agricultural education and the channels of popularization of agricultural knowledge among the broad public. To achieve this goal, the author analyzes, based on the dynamics of agricultural unions formation, the initiation and dynamics of the change of the main directions of work and the extent to which the forms of education corresponded to the aspirations of the authorities, the demands of the progressive public, and the practical needs of rural population. Generally, the work of East-Siberian agricultural unions was definitely less active than the work of the unions of the European part of Russia. That could be explained by the lack of educated employees, the difficulty of using the new agricultural approaches in risk farming areas, and the low literacy rate of the rural population. However, in the first decade of the 20th century, the work of agricultural unions became more active, which was determined, among other things, by the change of the authorities’ attitude and the channels of popularization of agricultural knowledge: exhibitions and public lectures were organized, libraries were founded, and books and magazines were sent out. The ways of rational farm management were popularized via special newspapers and agricultural magazines. Before and during the World War I the agricultural unions of Irkutsk province and Transbaikal started actively creating the branches in rural areas. Agricultural unions created the atmosphere of public interest, broadened and clarified the ideas of society about the needs of Siberian villages.

We give the historiographic criticism of the governorate party newspaper “Tambovskaya Pravda”. We analyze the reflected in its pages relation of the party management to handicraft industry. We provide examples of a newspaper’s propaganda role in engaging handicraftsmen for country needs. We consider the publications devoted to government measures of handicraft industry stimulation at the state and local levels. Among the main areas of state activities we highlight cooperation, holding handicraft exhibitions, the allocation of loans to industrial cooperatives through the bank for consumer cooperation, the involvement of small producers in the political life of the country, as well as the increase of their professional and general cultural level. We pay special attention to the All-Russian Agricultural and Handicraft Exhibition in 1923 and its accompanying events. We give characteristic of the changes in policy that followed the 14th All-Union Conference of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and the 3rd All-Union Congress of Soviets. Based on the articles in the 1927 issues, we conclude that many party under-takings did not have adequate success. We also analyze data on the peculiarities of the handicraft industry restoration in the governorate. We consider the specificity of the county distribution of crafts, as well as their ratio in urban and rural environments.

The findings of monitoring of repertoire of and demand for library and information services (document, reference, bibliographic awareness, cultural and educational services) are discussed. The mentioned services are available through the CSAL website. The types and forms of services are analyzed, their place and demand for them are discussed. The focus is made on the online services providing access of in-house information resources, e. g. e-libraries, e-catalogs, virtual exhibitions, etc. The terminological analysis of services titles as compared to the new national standard of library information services was executed. It was revealed that the services titles meet the standardized terms and definitions. The degrees of demand for difference services are estimated as active, fluctuating and decreasing. To improve library and bibliographic services and information support of science for agro-industrial complex, the authors recommend: to study products and services of unstable and decreasing demand, to load explicit list of services in the Information Services section, to design scientist personal accounts, to make it possible for the users to take part in selecting documents for digitization and to receive e-newsletter on new library acquisitions, etc. The authors conclude that CSAL provide the wide range of library information services which is essential to increase accessibility and friendliness of Library-generated information products, to improve information support of research in agricultural industries. The findings will be used in planning user library and information services. It is imperative that user services are monitored and user demands are analyzed.
