Siekiant užsibrėžto tikslo, buvo gaminami ir tiriami susiaurinti skirtingi įvairialyčiai dariniai (AlGaAs/GaAs, AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs) ir n-GaAs dariniai. Disertaciją sudaro penki skyriai, kurių paskutinis – rezultatų apibendrinimas. Pełny tekst źródłaThe thesis presents the investigation on how to increase the sensitivity of the narrowed sensors of radiation. Also the thesis also deals with the attempts to analyze the influence of the microwave radiation on to the narrowed semiconductor formations and to reveal the physical nature of the observed effects as well as to determine the influence of structure of the samples on the detected signal magnitude. The work solves the following major tasks: the characteristics of the narrowed semiconductor heterostructures depending on the quality of the modulation layers and on the parameters of the semiconductor materials as well as the characteristics, depending on the selectively doped structure, on the conductivity of the highly doped semiconductor layer, and on the thickness of the separating layer, and the type of metallization of the gate. In order to achieve the goal there were produced and investigated narrowed different heterostructures (AlGaAs/GaAs, AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs) and n-GaAs structures. The thesis consists of four chapters, the final one is the generalization of the results. Pełny tekst źródłaAcinetobacter baumannii, normalmente aislado en suelos y aguas (corrientes o residuales), se ha convertido en importante patógeno nosocomial, siendo agente causal de, entre otras complicaciones, neumonías, septicemias e infecciones del tracto urinario de pacientes comprometidos en unidades hospitalarias de cuidados intensivos. La más reciente de sus capacidades adquiridas es la resistencia a colistina (polimixina E), antibiótico peptídico considerado la última opción terapéutica en contextos clínicos. Esta tesis doctoral emplea la proteómica descriptiva y de expresión diferencial cuantitativa para investigar la resistencia adquirida por A. baumannii a dicho antibiótico. Los resultados han supuesto la identificación de 1.097 proteínas de Acinetobacter mediante el empleo combinado de electroforesis bidimensional convencional (2DE), 2DE diferencial (DIGE) y marcaje peptídico mediante isótopos isobáricos estables (iTRAQ). Los análisis se han realizado en el proteoma expresado por una cepa de referencia sensible a colistina (A. baumannii ATCC 19606), así como en una cepa derivada de ésta en la que se ha inducido, a efectos comparativos, resistencia a colistina in vitro. El fenotipo resistente manifestó reducida adaptabilidad biológica, encontrándose las principales diferencias en la estructura de la membrana externa, en la expresión de transportadores activos de membrana, en diversos enzimas metabólicos (ácidos grasos, citrato, fenilacetato, piruvato, nitrógeno) y de respuesta a condiciones de estrés, así como en la expresión de proteínas participantes en la formación de biopelículas y en el proceso de síntesis y plegamiento de proteínas. Además, el trabajo ha permitido evaluar los puntos fuertes y débiles de las técnicas empleadas actualmente en este tipo de análisis proteómicos.

Astrology generates different discourses, customs and behaviours, and through these, it is a social reality which makes sens. The objectives of the present study is an analysis of close anthropology as appreciated from a distant and external point of view. Essentially, this research concentrates on aspects of astrology termed scholarly and its environment. It particularly focuses on the process of conversion to astrology - its nature, practices and effects. According to its defining principles, the American campus is a reference for highlighting major themes: community engagement, questions of Town and Gown, and nature’s role in university life. This reflection, nourished by personal experiences and many years of professional practice in France, leads to the hypothesis that living on a campus is a spatial experience that contributes to an individual’s education, and therefore, must be fully understood on a human scale. The research develops a vision of university space design in the 21st century, based on the notion of environmental surroundings and beginning with territorial dynamics. An analysis of the Japanese campus helps support this reflection. Following various advances in catalytic technology between 1930 and 1950, and in relation with oil industries, academic research on catalysis was strongly supported by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique from 1944 onwards. Until the mid 1980s, three distinct research schools promoted catalysis as an academic discipline in France. The Institut de recherches sur la catalyse headed by Marcel Prettre, founded in 1958 and equipped with sophisticated, soon gained national and international recognitions. In spite of this hegemony, the Institut français du pétrole and the research team conducted by Jean-Eugène Germain in Lille developed alternative and complementary research programs. In the 1970s, the focus on energetic and later environmental issues contributed to blur the boundaries between the three research schools. Under the leadership of Raymond Maurel, a single French community gradually emerged, reunified around the issue of “sustainable development” and cemented by the founder myth of Paul Sabatier. A new profile of catalysis emerged over the past decades, which no longer belongs to the disciplinary regime of academic science. El PDA es uno de los tumores más letales, con tasas de supervivencia extremadamente bajas, debido principalmente al diagnóstico tardío y su amplia resistencia a las terapias actuales. La expresión de antígenos carbohidratos asociados a tumores como el SLeX potencia varias características tumorales como la migración celular o metástasis, por lo cual representa una buena fuente de nuevas dianas terapéuticas y biomarcadores. En este trabajo, se ha estudiado el efecto de la inhibición de la expresión de los principales genes que codifican para las enzimas responsables de la biosíntesis de SLeX en sus etapas finales (las α2,3-sialiltransferasas). El silenciamiento de ST3GAL3 y ST3GAL4 en dos líneas celulares de PDA produjo a una reducción significativa en los niveles de SLeX. Este descenso se asoció con una disminución en la migración, invasión y adhesión celular a E-selectina, disminuyendo el potencial metastásico del PDA. Además, mediante técnicas glico-proteómicas, pudimos identificar la glicoproteína MFAP4 portadora de SLeX como potencial biomarcador de PDA, ya que esta glicoforma solo fue detectada en la cohorte de muestras de tejido de PDA

Pełny tekst źródłaThe character Merlin, was born a long time ago from Welsh chronicles. Its literary origins go back to texts from the 12th century, first in Latin, then in French, in which he becomes Arthur’s famous adviser and acquires a great reputation among readers. Today, nine centuries later, the traditional Merlin is reborn, after Romanticism has forgotten him. The hero is still making us dream. He has become the main character of many works of the current francophone cultural production. This work analyses the contemporary persistence of the literary figure of medieval Merlin through two main themes: the origins and the powers. As a first step, a table of the medieval hero’s portrait is made according to the study of a novel’s corpus showing Merlin in the Middle Ages. Then, based on this table, whose structure builds the study plan, the hero’s contemporary persistence is analysed in detail through a corpus composed of elements from literature, cinema, theatre, comic books and Internet. The study of the origins (which includes the themes of the conception and the Woodwose or wildman’s tradition) shows mostly a modification of Merlin’s creator status, the devil, which is rationalized, paganised or deleted. This change is made to give importance to the Woodwose’s tradition, which already existed in the Middle Ages, but has become dominant in contemporary corpus. A detailed analysis of the Christian depreciation explains these narratological changes, which also affects the theme of powers (which includes the vision, the control over time and the control over space). In addition to their de-Christianization, the powers are considerably modernized thanks to the techniques of the various media. Consequently, they are demystified, which allows a finer identification with the reader-viewer. Thus, Merlin has become reachable, he does not scare any more like in the Middle Ages where his diabolical origin made him doubtful. He appears as a spokesman of a return to nature, as he had already been in the early medieval texts before his message was lost under the weight of the Christian domination. But today more than ever, the world needs examples, models to respect and love nature, whose future seems threatened. Merlin is the ideal messenger of a " naturist " conception of life and world. The contemporary writers understand this. Through his connection to the medieval world and his revisited portrait by the contemporary cultural production, Merlin attracts us, he makes us dream while reminding us of our own being through identification with this extraordinary character
Die Figur Merlin wurde vor langer Zeit aus walisischen Chroniken geboren. Seine literarischen Ursprünge stammen aus Texten des 12. Jahrhunderts die zuerst auf Lateinisch und danach auf Französisch waren. In diesen Texten ist der grossartige Berater von Arthur und erreicht dadurch Berühmtheit unter den Lesern. Neun Jahrhunderte später ist der traditionelle Merlin Wiedergeboren, nachdem er in der Romantik in Vergessenheit geriet. Der Held macht immer noch träumen und ist die Hauptfigur in etlichen Werken der zeitgenossischen frankophonen kulturellen Produktion. Diese Arbeit analysiert die zeitgenössischen Überbleibsel der mittelalterlichen Figur Merlin aus zwei Gesichtspunkten: der Herkunft und der Zauberkraft. Als erstes wurde eine Tabelle erstellt in der das Porträt des mittelalterlichen Helden, aufgrund von verschiedenen Werken, wo die mittelalterliche Figur Merlin erscheint, gezeigt wird. Diese Tabelle und seine Struktur sind die Grundlage unsere Studie. Die zeitgenössischen Remanenzen der literarischen mittelalterlichen Charakteristiken des Helden sind danach in der frankophonen kulturellen Produktion (Literatur, Film, Theater, Comics oder Internet) analysiert. Die Studie der Ursprünge (welche die Themen der Konzeption und der Tradition des wilden Mannes umfasst) zeigt hauptsächlich eine Änderung des Status des mittelalterlichen Vaters von Merlin (der Teufel), welcher rationalisiert, paganisiert und teilweise sogar gestrichen wird. Diese Änderung erfolgt zugunsten einer hervorgehobenen Darstellung der Tradition des wilden Mannes. Diese Tradition, die während des Mittelalters bereits erschien, steht im Vordergrund der zeitgenössischen Korpus. Eine detaillierte Analyse der Abwertung des Christentums erklärt die narratologischen Umbrüche, die auch den Bereich der Zauberkräfte betreffen (umfasst die Klarsicht, die Kontrolle über Zeit und Raum). Ausserdem wurden die Zauberkräfte dank den neuen Medien beträchtlich modernisiert und demystifiziert, was eine effiziente Identifizierung mit dem Leser-Zuschauer erlaubt Durch diese Entwicklung wird Merlin erreichbarer, macht keine Angst mehr im Gegensatz zum Mittelalter, wo ihn seine teuflischen Züge zweifelhaft machten. Er erscheint als Sprecher für eine Rückkehr zur Natur, wie das bereits in den ersten mittelalterlichen Texten der Fall war, bevor seine Botschaft unter der christlichen Herrschaft verloren ging. Heute, mehr denn je, braucht die Welt Beispiele, Modelle hinsichtlich Respekt und Liebe zur Natur deren Zukunft bedroht zu sein scheint. Merlin ist daher der ideale Kurier einer "naturistischen" Konzeption des Lebens und der Welt, was die zeitgenössischen Autoren deutlich verstanden haben. Pełny tekst źródłaDoes the training system of senegalese primary school teachers come within the framework of professionalization? Or does it hold in the way of the scientific criteria of professionalization? Are the systems and the modalities of training contribute to train professional teachers? Do the speeches and practices of the different actors converge to reach the objective of professionalization adopted in the referential of competence in the EFI of 1999. This injunction of professionalization of the primary school teachers does it keep in touch with the stakes of effectiveness and of efficiency of the educational system or does it constitute an "effect of mode" submitted to the wearing of time? Such are the questions to which we try to answer in our present research on "the professionalization of the initial training of primary school teachers in Senegal at the junction of two centuries (the 20th and the 21st centary) : the case of the EFI of Thies". For this, after taking stock of the process of how to evaluate the system of recruitment and training of the primary school teachers in Senegal since the creation of the CFP in 1960 until the erection of the EFI in 1993, which will be replaced by the CRFPE in 2011. We focused our study on the temporal bracket (1995 - 2011) thanks to the multiple transformations and the structural and conjunctural changes which occurred in the educational system. Our study is structured on the double view: formal, for the exploitation of documents and texts that regulate the training,; and operational for questioning the speeches and practices of the different actors. It relies on a mixed approach combining quality and quantity using questionnaires and semi-structured interview in order to test our hypotheses of research. An analysis of our results on the spot shows that our professional aim remains more prescriptive - the appearance in the texts and in the referential of competences of the EFI in 1999 — than operational and more precisely in the training practices. For this, the lack of integrative alternation (no link between theoretical teaching and the practical training), the lack of analytical workshop (no institutionalization of training courses of entire responsibility) and the professional writing are, among others, factors which can inhibit a reflexive training. Furthermore, a centralized organization and standardized training system bereft all self-sufficiency and responsibility to the actors, tendingts "proletarization" (Perrenoud, 1996) instead of professionalization of the initial training of teachers in the primary sector. In fine, our thesis wants to be a pragmatic and scientific contribution to the debates on the usefulness of professionalization in the initial training system of teachers, inviting the authorities and the actors of the educational system to put the emphasis on reflexivity in the pratical training and for this, for the effectiveness of an integrative alternation. The professionalization of the initial training could not hold all its promises, in a way, without installing in the heads of the school —teachers professional competences to answer back the stakes of Senegalese school - universal schooling, the rationalization of human resources, material and financial resources too, to face up to the pedagogical reform and innovations introduced at school. May the CRFPE (Training of education personnel regional centers) founded in 2011 replaced the EFI, integrate in the training plan the questions of the moment of the Senegalese school for a performing training system. Pełny tekst źródłaOur essay on the changes in the condition of workers shows management of stronger type in "modernized" firms where workers are more closely controlled, hence entering the disappearance of the relative balance between managers' domination and the labour force, as at the time of the "Fordist compromise". The economic, technological, and social reorganization following the crisis of the 1970s resulted in workers' collectives being dismantled, in class solidarity vanishing, and in unions getting weaker. The "modern" firm has lost its integrative function by making jobs temporary and replacing them according to economic circumstances. Since then, the new balance has been favourable to managers. The traditional forms of workers' resistance have been harmed by the new management method where social control is omnipotent. To counteract the reinforcement of managers' control, new forms of rebellion have appeared : there are defensive rather than offensive, secret, and above all individual rather than collective. Temporary wage-earners, fearing social exclusion, have very little liberty left; the least resigned of them try to make the most of it. This movement is hardly controlled by the management and is a tool for reconquering the self-esteem that was lost in such firms where economic stakes outclass people's lot

The purpose of this thesis consists in a sociohistorical (from the beginning of the 20th Century to our times) and sociocultural comparative analysis of sex education methods and theories in France and in Sweden, in order to identify the social conceptions of gender and sexuality that they convey. The analysis of the content of numerous sex education media in addition to interviews with resource people, will allow us to define the characteristics of both countries in this particular field. While sex education still remains everywhere widely reliant on individual will, the methods used in Sweden turns out more structured and supported than they are in France : critical problematization of gender and heteronormativity doesn’t exist in France's take on sex education, while it's slowly turning up in official texts in Sweden, under the impulse of associations and academics. Yet, in the absence of any critical reflection on gender and heteronormativity – observed in France and, in a lesser way in Sweden – the conception of sexuality spread about by sex education is biologizing (focusing on reproduction), associating sex with being in love (norm of the couple and love), negative (focusing on risks), differentialist (men and women presented as complementary) and heteronormative. Parts of the analysis will focus on alternative methods, inclusive pedagogy and norm-critical pedagogy, both developed in Sweden and implemented in the field of sex education

During these thirty years, the Chinese society has undergone a big change. In the process of the Chinese contemporary art, the “body” has undoubtedly played an important role. If we say that art is a bridge between the artist’s life and the society, the “body” is an important bridge pier. From the body’s viewpoint, we can find the logic of Chinese contemporary art’s development and understand how the Chinese artists integrated their work into the social space. In this thesis, we have studied the most important phenomenon of body in the Chinese contemporary art. They include the “sacrificed body”, the “parody body”, the “metamorphosis body”, the “metaphor body” and the “intermediality of body”. At last, we have also described our own art works about the “body”

It derives from Latin and can be translated as “elsewhere”, “in another place”, “other part”, “in another mind”, “at another home”, or “in a different set of ob-jects”. Despite such variations, the notion of ailleurs can be said to refer to ideas of “otherness” and “difference”. It also contains a spatial element, the act of “being away” or of “shifting”.The idea that one might occupy a space as “other” and conceive of the “subject” in relation to this otherness, is the main problematic of this work which aims to explore romanesque images of the “other place” and of the “other space” from the point of view of different contemporary travel writers. These travel writings are taken from 20th and 21st Century literature and represents different forms of literature and have different countries of origin, they are drawn together to create a profile of “romanesque traveller”. The present thesis therefore focuses on the conception of the space by approaching the concept of otherness and its reality from a romanesque, literary and contemporary perspective.Plurality and alterity are essential components of this work: of the elements that constitute a space, a place, a landscape, a view, a reality, and a presence.Over the course of three chapters, an examination is conducted of the themes and spatial notions related to the notion of ailleurs: ‘home’, ‘distance’, and ‘elsewhere’.In this work, an image of space is constituted that reflects the complexity of appearances, sensations, expressions, revelations, symbols, ideas, dreams, projects, intentions which exist as a consequence of the individual experiences that are acquired by the “romanesque traveller”. Pełny tekst źródła“Shadow sculptures” are works of art where artists use projected shadows as a material. All works are composed with a basic projection device, and comprised of at least, a light source, a screen and an object. The shadow-pictures, still or moving, appear by the object’s interception of light. Since the 80’s, projected shadows have multiplied in sculpture. In addition, artists use them to enhance their picture quality. Inspired by the works from the beginning of the 20th century (such as László Moholy-Nagy’s Light-Space Modulator (1922-1930)), shadow sculptures stand between photography, cinema and sculpture, between sculpture and picture and between sculpture and projection. They use their technical vocabulary and their vision modality. This specificity distinguishes shadow sculptures from sculptures in the past few decades that preferred the sensorial quality of light and shadows. It also gives the opportunity to question the medium sculpture, which has been constantly (re-)defined since the late 60’s. Lastly, this specificity of shadow sculptures positions them in the context of the 80’s that they question and reflect. Artwork analyses, the definition of the medium sculpture, the study of the historical period beginning in the 80’s and the exploration of the shadows’ polysemy are the four principal elements investigated in the following PhD. They all participate to define shadow sculptures as a singular medium

Pełny tekst źródłaThis dissertation is a cartography of the name Ulysses in various philosophical texts of Western post-1945 tradition, built around a common reference to Ulysses. It offers an alternative reading of philosophical texts, which is not set on a philosophical hermeneutics, but focuses rather upon a hermeneutics that tries to determine the textual variants of Ulysses and their interpretations. This hermeneutics highlights the existence of a unique moment in the memory of Ulysses as corpus, which is demonstrated as a new version of the myth of Ulysses. The present interest in the figure of Ulysses proceeds from its capacity to trouble the border between various disciplines, especially that which divides philosophical and literary traditions. A study of the areas of textual interbreeding between philosophical texts and literary intertexts of Ulysses, the Odyssey and the literary tradition of its rewritings, the revelation of the character of Ulysses' intelligence in the philosophical texts as well as its figural dimension, demonstrate that Ulysses is in fact the alibi of philosophy. As non-disciplinary figure, his role serves to establish an opening towards that which lies beyond the philosophical texts in which he appears

Pełny tekst źródłaAt the junction of the sociology of social mobility, the history of« elites » and the ethnography of educational policies, this dissertation examines the conditions of possibility and the life experiences of people who benefit from upward social mobility through elite selective education in France. Through the study of widening participation policies of the « grandes écoles» (elite schools) and preparatory classes to these schools, we show how and why such prestigious institutions implement specific programs for working class students and how the latter abandon, redefine or maintain their dispositions, as they move away more or less from their original milieu. This research draws on historical documents, statistical data, in-depth interviews, direct observations and rushes from a documentary film. The first part shows that the unequal social access to elite schools, at the center of debates or policies since 1944, only became a central public issue at the end of the 1990s, when different actors borne by their interests and/or family legacy became the heralds of the cause of widening participation. The second part focuses on a preparatory class located in a prestigious high school which trains youth from working-class areas to enter a group of elite schools (Instituts d'Études Politiques). We examine the practices through which the teachers try to instill in these students a new attitude toward culture and the future. The third part analyzes the factors that explain that students go through with, slow down or interrupt their trajectories of social displacement in the years that follow the competitive entrance exams to these schools, and the consequences of such attitudes

Pełny tekst źródłaBased on a significant number of examples from the 1960s to the present, this thesis explores the way artists have used the medium of the periodical to create a practice in its own right. Having determined the main characteristics of the artist’s periodical and how it overlaps with other editorial practices as well as the conditions that have influenced its development, the main thrust of this research is to uncover the issues at stake when choosing this artistic medium, which also has the particularity of being a media. A number of characteristics emerge in the course of the study, weaving links between projects that at first glance seem quite different. Thus, the analysis of these publications highlights the specific relationships between artist’ periodicals and the press – including use of parody, unflinching opposition to it or seeing it as an inexhaustible source of texts and images –, it unearths the way replication takes part in these projects, what’s more, it questions the editors’ desire for autonomy which often lies at the root of artists publications. Particular attention is paid to the manner in which artist-publishers compose using their independence and what it allows and/or what it implies on an artistic, political and economic level. Finally, this study endeavours to explore the specific terms of creation and reception connected to this practice, as well as the collective dimension of the periodical coupled with its serial nature and multiple links with concepts of time. The artistic practice and developments that accompany this research can be found in the appendix and have been spread throughout the pages of the volumes in order to establish a dialogue

Pełny tekst źródłaThis thesis concerns the technical device named the virtual reality as source of inspiration for the literature of the science fiction. The virtual reality asserts itself within the literature of the science fiction through narratives belonging as well to the utopia and the anti-utopia as in the anticipation or the texts with the symbolic and metaphoric character. However, the most fertile and most pronounced tendency of the narrative point of view stay that of the utopia and the metaphor, the purely technological anticipation leaving the place at the futurology and the poetics. Besides the stage setting of the technological elements and pseudo technological, and the ramblings on the behavior of the man in front of the new technical possibilities, the creation of the literary virtual reality comes true through very modern processes of writing operated by the authors. In the first place, we can notice the frequent appeal to the rewriting which would want almost a distinguishing feature of the literary virtual reality. This technique is visible in the contemporary adaptations of the antique myths, the archetypes, the motives and the biblical genres but also in the second reading of the tales of fairy and the fantastic narratives. Even if the virtual reality is a recent technological concept, the literary virtual reality draws the motives, the subjects and the stylistic techniques in the literary tradition preceding the appearance of this new technology and belonging not only to the science fiction but also to the mimetic literature. The crossed reading of the works of Boleslaw Prus, Auguste de Villiers de l' Isle-Adam, Stefan Zeromski, Bruno Schulz and Stanislaw Lem as well as the authors contemporary as Janusz Zajdel, Adam Wisniewski-Snerg, Andrzej Zimniak, Rafal Ziemkiewicz, etc. Allowed to establish the axes of interpretation developed in third part of the thesis. The main corpus is established(constituted) by the papers of the contemporary Polish authors dating the 70s in our days. What combines them, it is indeed, the subject of the virtual reality. However the specificity of the approach of each of these authors guarantees the originality of the image and the multiplicity of horizons of interpretation

Pełny tekst źródłaThe art scene in California in the late 1960s and early 1970s established favourable terrain for the investigations of a new generation of artists, even if it did not enjoy any real logistical support, be it from the art trade or from institutions. The conceptual art promoted at the same time by Seth Siegelaub in New York prepared an alternative to Minimal art. This phenomenon already had its equivalent in Europe. The dematerialization of the work of art would have decisive consequences in California, where it gave rise to a Conceptual art stripped of any dogmatism and marked by the influence of powerful personalities like Ed Ruscha and John Baldessari. East coast artists such as Douglas Huebler, William Wegman, and Robert Cumming, plus Ruppersberg in the Midwest, would find more stimulating working conditions on the other side of the United States. Europeans like Bas Jan Ader and his colleague Ger van Elk would follow the same path. Their works would not find any immediate on-the-spot visibility, but after a gap of about fifteen years, a new generation of European artists (let us mention artists like Claude Closky, in France, and Jonathan Monk, in England) leaned on those older brothers and elevated them to the rank of primary references. Using selected examples of artists and a corpus of texts put together since the beginning of the 1990s, written for various exhibition catalogues, reviews and publishers, the aim of this thesis is to introduce this dialogue between generations and shed light on certain convergences despite the disparity of institutional and societal contexts
