310 Background: In Phase III studies, ipilimumab did not extend OS in unselected populations with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (Kwon, 2014; Beer, 2014), suggesting that successful cancer immunotherapy development strategies require the evaluation of treatment effects in biomarker-driven segments. In addition, PTEN loss has been identified as a potential mechanism of resistance to immunotherapy (Peng, 2016). Therefore, we explored possible associations between cancer immunity (CI)-related biomarkers and PTEN loss in mCRPC samples. Methods: Tumor samples obtained in the Phase II study of AA ± Ipat in patients with mCRPC (de Bono, ESMO 2016) were retrospectively profiled. DNA alterations and tumor mutational burden (TMB) were assessed by FoundationOne. RNA-seq analysis of multiple CI-related expression signatures was performed. Tumor-immune lymphocyte (TIL) scores were analyzed in 3 compartments (stromal, sTIL; intratumoral, iTIL; peritumoral, pTIL) based on H&E stained specimens. Up to 10 evenly distributed fields were examined; the average of these fields was used to estimate the %TILs for each compartment. Results: Strong associations were observed between multiple CI-related signatures (e.g., INFγ-induced, immune checkpoints, Treg, checkpoint inhibitors). Fewer than 10% of the samples had a high level (≥ 10% of the tumor area) of TIL infiltration in any compartment (Table). TIL scores, TMB values, PTEN status and Gleason score all appeared to be independently associated, and none were associated with CI-related gene signatures, except for a possible association between pTILs and the B-cell signature (ρ = 0.49, P < 0.0001). Conclusions: Comprehensive high-content profiling of prostate cancer samples suggests that PTEN status and CI-related biomarkers were independently associated, while TMB and TIL values were generally not associated with CI-related signatures. Clinical trial information: NCT01485861. [Table: see text]

In this work, we investigate subluminal and superluminal light propagation in a vee-type three-level atomic medium under an external magnetic field. The dispersion and absorption behaviors are studied for the cases of absence and presence of a magnetic field. It is found that under an electromagnetically induced transparency condition, the light pulse can be switched between subluminal and superluminal propagation by ON-OFF switching of the magnetic field. Finally, the transient response of the medium is discussed, which shows that the considered scheme has potential applications in magneto-optic switching devices. Streszczenie:
ABSTRACT The nearby galaxy NGC 300 is hosting two luminous transient supersoft X-ray sources with bolometric luminosities above 3 × 1038 erg s−1, assuming simple blackbody spectra with temperatures around 60–70 eV. For one of these, SSS1, a periodic modulation of 5.4 h was observed in an XMM–Newton observation from 2001 January 1 lasting 47 ks, but not visible six days earlier when the luminosity was higher. We report here the detection of a new outburst from this source, which occurred during two more recent XMM–Newton observations performed on 2016 December 17–20 lasting for 310 ks. The luminosity was similar as in 2000 December, and the 0.2–2.0 keV light curve revealed again a periodic modulation, with a period of 4.68 ± 0.26 h, significant only in the first of the two observations. Taking into account the large uncertainties (the 2001 period was re-estimated at 5.7 ± 1.1 h), the two values could be marginally compatible, and maybe associated with an orbital period, although the signal strength is highly variable. Due to the new long exposures, an additional absorption feature is now visible in the spectra, which we modelled with an absorption edge. This component decreases the bolometric luminosity below 3 × 1038 erg s−1 and would therefore allow the presence of a white dwarf with a mass close to the Chandrasekhar limit. The system was found in outburst in 1992, 2000, 2008, and 2016 suggesting a possible recurrence period of about eight years. We discuss viable models involving white dwarfs, neutron stars, or black holes.

Streszczenie:
ABSTRACT: This study aims to examine the effect of health, education, and labor force moderated by urban population on the Human Development Index. This study uses a quantitative approach and a Moderated Regression Analysis technique with a sample of 25 OIC countries from 2010-2019 taken by purposive sampling method. The results showed that health, education, and the labor force affected the Human Development Index. While the urban population moderates the effect of health and the workforce on the Human Development Index, the urban population does not moderate the effect of education on the Human Development Index. This study has a novelty in the results of the study, namely the basic education variable which has a significant but negative effect on the Human Development Index. This research is limited to a sample of OIC member countries because more than 30% of poor countries with low income according to World Bank data are in OIC member countries, so it is hoped that this research will be able to provide references related to increasing the human development index to save them from poverty.
The people who live in the Merapi area have been going on for years. Merapi is the most active volcano in Central Java that can threaten the community, but the community still exists today, of course, having local wisdom in responding to the eruption of Merapi. This study aims to determine the local wisdom of Wonolelo Village before, during, and after the Merapi eruption. In addition, to find out the historical relationship of the Merapi eruption to local wisdom and the challenges faced by Wonolelo Village in maintaining the sustainability of local wisdom. This research was used as a descriptive qualitative method. The method of collecting data is done through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data sources of this study are community leaders, spiritual leaders, and people who are more than 70 years old. Analysis of the data used is sourced triangulation based on the Miles & Huberman model. The results showed that local wisdom in responding to the Merapi eruption in Wonolelo Village still exists today. Local wisdom is divided into three segments, namely before, during, and after the eruption of Merapi. Local wisdom before the Merapi eruption is a notification that Merapi eruption activity will occur. Local wisdom in Wonolelo Village has challenges in the form of modernization and not running the local wisdom relay to young people. Keywords: Disaster, Local wisdom, Merapi volcano. Streszczenie:
Abstract. The scientific study is dedicated to the study of the pecu liarities of establishing legal facts in the conditions of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (since 2014), as well as the limits of the court’s discretionary powers in this area. The authors, within the framework of this theoretical and applied work, while delineating the limits of the court’s discretionary powers, singled out the general conditions for establishing a legal fact in the order of civil jurisdiction, classified legal facts related to military aggression in Ukraine according to the order of establishment, and also carried out a detailed comparative analysis of the revisions of Article 317 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, which underwent significant changes in connection with the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 1, 2022 of Law of Ukraine № 2345-IX «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Peculiarities of Proceedings in Cases Establishing the Fact of Birth or Death of a Person in conditions of war or state of emergency and in temporarily occupied territories». A legal evaluation of these changes was given and their effectiveness was analyzed taking into account the already formed judicial practice. Peculiarities of the Georgian and Moldovan models of establishing the facts of the death/birth of a person in the temporarily occupied territory are singled out, since in the past Georgia and Moldova, like Ukraine, were «lucky» to experience the «care of a brotherly neighbor». Taking into account the military realities in Ukraine and the prevailing circumstances, an opinion is expressed as to whether it is possible to introduce features of the Moldovan and/or Georgian models in Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to outline the limits of the court’s discretionary powers regarding the establishment of legal facts in the conditions of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (since 2014). Isolation of the general conditions for the establishment of a legal fact in the procedure of civil jurisdiction. Taking into account the specific conditions and on the basis of the study of the judicial practice of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the classification of legal facts related to military aggression in Ukraine, according to the order of establishment. Analysis of key legislative changes made to the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code in terms of simplifying the procedure for establishing the fact of birth and death of a person in the temporarily occupied territory, under conditions of war and state of emergency. As well as a comparison of the relevant versions of Article 317 of the Civil Code of Ukraine to provide a legal assessment of the effectiveness of the changes made. Highlighting the key features of the Georgian and Moldovan models of establishing the fact of birth and death of a person in the temporarily occupied territory with the possibility of further borrowing and adoption of experience, as well as the implementation of such in Ukraine. Research methodology. The method of system analysis and compa rison was used during the research. Analysis of recent research and publications. A qualitative description of separate proceedings as an institution of civil procedural law is given in the works of M. M. Yasynok, O. O. Markova, V. Yu. Mamnytskyi, T. M. Balyuk, Y. M. Sadikova, Yu. V. Bilousov. The scientific works of A. V. Kostruba, K. I. Hychka, G. V. Kykot, V. V. Masyuk, and V. V. Komarov are devoted to the issue of establishing facts that have legal significance in separate proceedings under the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine. In addition, the study of the relevance of the indicated issues proves that the problems of legal regulation of the procedure for establishing the fact of birth and death of a person in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine are not fully studied. Although it is worth noting the significant contribution to research in this area by K. V. Husarova, I. M. Volkova, T. A. Stoyanova, M. H. Sviderska, O. I. Ugrynovska. and Pinyashka M., as well as other specialists in the science of civil procedural law. The empirical basis of primary source research is the modern legislation of Ukraine, as well as the legislation of Georgia and Moldova. In addition, it should be noted that M. Basilashvili covered the issue of comparative legal analysis of registration of civil status acts in Ukraine and Georgia in her research. Conclusions. It is obvious that cases on the establishment of facts of legal significance occupy an important place in judicial practice. The dynamism of social relations, and therefore the constant change of legislation in the conditions of war (since 2014), made it necessary to establish a new type of legal facts – a legal fact related to military aggression in Ukraine. The study of judicial practice on this issue gives reason to assert that the judicial body’s approach to the consideration of the specified category is becoming more and more qualitative. Aspecial role in the formation of the unity of judicial practice in solving the issue of establishing legal facts related to military aggression in Ukraine is played by the Supreme Court, which always stands guard to protect the violated rights of individuals. The legislative changes analyzed in this scientific study in terms of simplifying proceedings in cases of establishing the fact of birth or death of a person in the territory where a state of war or emergency has been imposed, or in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, can rightly be called progressive, appropriate and necessary, since such are dictated by the realities of wartime in our country. Moreover, they will contribute to the unification of judicial practice in the matter of establishing the fact of birth and death of a person in the territory where a state of war or emergency has been imposed, or in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. But the legislator still has a lot to work on in this matter. The regulation of the institution of establishing the fact of birth and death of a person in the temporarily occupied territory in Georgia and Moldova has many features, original legal norms that give grounds to conclude about the possibility of implementing specific positive points of foreign models of establishing the specified types of legal facts in Ukraine by improving Ukrainian legislation and applying in the Ukrainian legal space.

Streszczenie:
The objective of this work is to investigate the effects of the concentration of hydrogen atoms at the tungsten Σ5 (310) grain boundary (GB) on the GB energy and the GB pulling force. Tungsten (W) is the most preferred plasma facing material (PFM) for the future nuclear fusion reactors such as in the proposed DEMO (demonstration power plant) and ITER (international thermonuclear experimental reactor — which is at the moment the largest Tokamak nuclear fusion reactor under construction in the world. Tungsten is considered as a PFM because of its excellent thermal properties, low-sputtering yield and high melting point. However, hydrogen (H) atoms have an affinity for tungsten grain boundary, and are trapped there permanently. In addition, it makes it prone to failure. W will be exposed to extremely high fluences of H isotopes. The low-energy H isotopes will be retained in the tungsten material leading to the formation of blisters in W and causes degradation of the mechanical and thermal properties of W. Therefore for safety reason, the effect of hydrogen atoms at the tungsten Σ5 (310) symmetric tilt-GB needs to be investigated. This will greatly aid in better designing of fusion wall materials. In addition, the full understanding of the tungsten grain boundary energy and the force required to pull the grain boundary apart will also help in better material selection. Classic molecular dynamics method was used for the investigation. LAMMPS-a sophisticated, classical atomic and molecular dynamics modelling and simulation software, is a vital tool adopted for the investigation of the effects of hydrogen atoms in tungsten Σ5 (310) symmetric tilt-GB. Tersoff potential for W-H interactions was used for the modelling. The size of the simulation box is 10 × 100 × 10 lattices and it consists of 21262 W atoms. Periodic boundaries were used for all sides of the system. Conjugate gradient method was used for the minimization. The trajectories of the atoms were visualized using visual molecular dynamics (VMD) software. The GB energies are calculated to be −924.060 J/m2, −923.898 J/m2 and −743.414 J/m2 for pure W, W with one H atom and W with 30 H atoms are at the GB respectively. In addition, the forces required to separate the GB apart are 0.0279551eV/Ang for pure W, 0.024789eV/Ang and 0.0185eV/Ang for W with one H and 30 H atoms at the GB respectively. The result shows that hydrogen acts as a grain boundary embrittler and weakens the GB strength. The GB energy reduces as the concentration of hydrogen at the tungsten GB increases. In addition, the more the hydrogen atoms at the tungsten GB the lesser the value of the force required to pull the GB apart. However, the GB energies and pulling forces starts increasing slowly when H atoms exceed a certain number depending on the H atoms distribution around the W GB.

Integrating MOOCs in Blended Courses Authors: Carmen Holotescu, Gabriela Grosseck Numerous recent studies appreciate that "MOOCs bring an impetus of reform, research and innovation to the Academy" (DBIS, 2013). Even though MOOCs are usually developed and delivered as independent online courses, experiments to wrap formal university courses around existing MOOCs are reported by teachers and researchers in different articles (Bruff et al., 2013). This paper describes a different approach, in which the participation of students in different MOOCs was integrated in a blended course run on a social mobile LMS. The topics of MOOCs delivered on different platforms and having different characteristics were connected with the fall 2013 undergraduate course of Web Programming. The main parts of this study deal with: - The reasons to integrate MOOCs in the university course - How the course was designed, how the students' activities on different MOOCs platforms were assessed and integrated in the course scenario - The results of a survey that evaluates students experiences related to MOOCs: a number of MOOCs features were assessed (Holotescu, Grosseck and Cretu, 2013); also answers to a few problems are analysed: o Did the participation in MOOCs support students to clarify and expand the course issues? o What are students' suggestions for a more active participation in MOOCs? o Comparing the learning scenarios of MOOCs with the Web Programming blended course how the course and its virtual space can be improved? o Do the students consider that the MOOCs phenomenom is important for professional and personal development? The conclusions of the paper can be used by other teachers/instructors for integrating MOOCs in the courses they deliver/facilitate. References: Bruff, D. O., Fisher, D. H., McEwen, K. Streszczenie:
The potential for using eye-tracking as quantitative and objective tools for training and assessment has gained substantial attention across domain with high standards for safety [1]. The aim of this study is to synthesize results from previous reviews on eye-tracking support in training and assessment for work in complex socio-technical domains. In particular, the objective is to map out a) how eye-tracking is currently used in training and assessment, and b) the barriers and benefits of using eye-tracking reported in the literature. To answer the research questions, this study is designed as a meta-review, that is, a review of previous reviews or meta-analyses [2]. Since this study takes on broad re-search questions and aims to include different types of methodological contributions from various field to synthesize the state of knowledge between disciplines, a semi-structured review approach is chosen. Semi-structured approaches are suitable for mapping a field of research and synthesize the state of knowledge to set an agenda for future studies [3]. The approach takes on systematic search strategies but often lack the level of scientific rigour of systematic or scoping reviews. What is considered important for the semi-structured review method is a transparent and developed research strategy for the audi-ence to determine the worth and value of the chosen topic, method used and findings from the study [3]. In accordance with best practices, the study design is guided by the PRISMA-protocol for systematic reviews [4]. A search for literature was conducted in February 2021. Advanced search options for discriminating type of articles (reviews) and timespan (2010-2021) were used on three databases: Scopus, Web of Science and Science Direct. Using search words “eye tracking”, “simulator”, “training” and “assessment” when searching through article titles, abstracts and keywords, a total of 403 studies were identified. After removing duplicates, 373 studies were screened. Articles that didn’t meet the inclusion criteria or lacked an explicit focus on eye-tracking support in simulator training and/or assessment were excluded. In all, 20 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility. After reading full-text, 12 studies remained and are included in the meta-review. The results show how eye-tracking most commonly is used for 1) summative assessment of technical skills, 2) formative assessment of non-technical skills, 3) identifying differences between novices and experts, and 4) capturing expert gaze patterns. The results show how eye-tracking is appreciated as an unobtrusive technology that enables a quantitative assessment of objective parameters. Hence, the promise of using eye-tracking for informing instructional design as well as for designing training systems and improve learning environments is clear. However, it is important to consider that implementing eye-tracking is a rather expensive and time-consuming endeavour that requires carefully designed tasks and task analyses to fulfil its potential. PhD-student Charlotta Engberg, Professor Michaela P?rn & PhD Katri Karjalainen The aim of the paper is to describe the challenges in developing Classroom tandem as a model for second language education for virtual learning environments in Finland. Finland is officially a bilingual country, where both the Finnish-speaking and the Swedish-speaking language groups are taught parallelly in monolingual schools according to the law. However, both language groups learn the other second national language as a subject in school. Classroom tandem as an instruction model for second language education was introduced in Finland in 2012, based on tandem as a language learning model, meaning that two persons learn the languages of each other in reciprocal cooperation and thereby switch languages. The tandem partners act in turns as the learning part in their second language and as the model and support in their first language. (Karjalainen, P?rn, Rusk & Bj?rkskog, 2013). Tandem is divided into face-to-face tandem and eTandem (Brammerts & Calvert, 2003; K?tter, 2002). Classroom tandem relies strongly on physical face-to-face meetings. However, these meetings are not possible to organize in all schools in Finland, due to the lack of closely located Finnish- and Swedish-speaking partner schools. Therefore, eClassroom tandem is now being developed in cooperation with language teachers as an applied virtual form of Classroom tandem. The challenge in developing eClassroom tandem mainly includes issues dealing with technology, task design and virtual cooperation between tandem partners. In order to increase the understanding of potentially existing virtual cooperation in all Swedish-speaking upper secondary schools in Finland with Finnish-speaking schools and schools abroad, a survey (based on interviews with 34 principals in 2015) was made. The results show that the most typical form of cooperation is however physical visits between schools, while extended virtual cooperation is rare. According to the principals' view the cooperation is however not always pedagogically organized, and therefore there is a need to pedagogically develop the virtual cooperation practices for language education. One possible model for this cooperation is eClassroom tandem, which increase the opportunities for second language learning in authentic situations with students of the same age, even in strongly monolingual areas.

Via Gramsci, 53. 00100 Roma E-mail: roberta.gironi@gmail.com Keywords (3-5): Informal processes, dynamic transformation, new planning approach, flexible space, self-organization Conference topics and scale: Reading and regenerating the informal city Contemporary cities are affected by transformations that put in discussion the claim of control and stability to which the urban project aspires. All those gradual adjustments are manifested according to the demand, bring toward a less formal and more flexible spatial order, for which the traditional forms of the "static" city become the background of the "kinetic" landscape of informal cities. On the contrary of the formal processes of urban planning, informality process is configured as an organic development model and a flexible dynamic system opened to changes. The informal space is produced according to principles of spontaneity and self-organization. A consideration on the possibility to assume different approaches can be proposed. Those approaches should integrate in the design reasoning all the dynamics usually excluded by the discourse on the urban project, which processes can become catalysts to enrich the methods of planning and design of the urban space. Through the analysis of the case-study Previ Lima and the Living Room at the Border of St. Ysidro, the aim is to delineate in which way the contemporary architecture can absorb and metabolize these processes, triggering a different approach to a different method to intervene in the spaces of relationship among formal and informal. It is believed that the informal urban qualities cannot be eliminated and is impossible to ignore the inhabitants' practices, but rather to work on the intersection between collective and individual actions. Streszczenie:
Purpose/Background: Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have an impact on health throughout the lifespan (Filletti et al., 1999; Hughes et al., 2017). These experiences range from physical and mental abuse, substance abuse in the home, parental separation or loss, financial instability, acute illness or injury, witnessing violence in the home or community, and incarceration of family members (Hughes et al., 2017). Understanding and screening for ACEs in children with urinary incontinence can help practitioners identify psychological stress as a potentially modifiable risk factor. Methods: A 5-month chart review was performed identifying English speaking patients ages 6-11 years presenting to the outpatient urology office for an initial visit with a primary diagnosis of urinary incontinence. Charts were reviewed for documentation of individual or family risk factors for ACEs exposure, community risk factors for ACEs exposures, and records where no related documentation was included. Results: For the thirty-nine patients identified, no community risk factors were noted in the charts. Seventy-nine percent of patients had one or more individual or family risk factors documented. Implications for Nursing Practice This chart review indicates that a significant percentage of pediatric, school-aged patients presenting with urinary incontinence have exposure to ACEs. A formal assessment for ACEs at the time of initial presentation would be helpful to identify those at highest risk.
