Abstract (sommario):
Статья посвящена анализу боевого опыта ВВС СССР в период участия советских войскв войне в Афганистане в 1979–1989 гг. Специфика горно-пустынной местности и климатические условия этой страны свойственны практически всем государствам, с которыми граничит Российская Федерация на юге, начиная от Закавказья и Средней Азии и заканчивая Китаем и Монголией на Дальнем Востоке. Боевой опыт, приобретенный тогда Военно-воздушными силами, сегодня важен не только из-за очень высокой цены, заплаченной в 1979–1989 гг. в Афганистане кровью и жизнями солдат и офицеров, но и своей актуальностью. Техника и вооружение, которые сейчас используются российскими ВКС, во многих своих компонентах остались либо те же, либо в разной степени модернизированные, следовательно, формы и методы работы с ними – эксплуатация, техническое обслуживание, снабжение и т. д. – прежние. Кроме технических вопросов ветераны войны в Афганистане – военачальники и командиры самых разных рангов и уровней – всячески подчеркивают, что особую роль играют вопросы взаимодействия и управления. Во избежание отрицательных факторов в организации и проведении боевых действий из-за слабо поставленноговзаимодействия сухопутных войск и авиации необходимо постоянное совершенствование управления. Подготовленные крупные операции, как правило, проходят без больших потерь, тогда как мелкие неподготовленные часто ведут к поражению. Поэтому опыт организации взаимодействия больших операций необходимо всегда переносить и на малые.

Участие в афганской войне 1979–1989 гг., продлившейся почти все последнее десятилетие существования СССР, принимали все советские республики. Одна из коммеморативных практик, принятых в память об афганской войне – это издание книг Памяти, посвященных соотечественникам, погибшим в Афганистане. В настоящей статье автор рассмотрит, как эта практика реализуется в государствах постсоветского пространства и является ли она в целом востребованной и распространенной. All Soviet republics took part in the Afghan war 1979–1989, which lasted almost the entire last decade of the existence of the USSR. One of the commemorative practices adopted in memory of the Afghan war is the publication of Books of Memory dedicated to compatriots who died in Afghanistan. In this article, the author will consider how this practice is implemented in the states of the post-Soviet space and whether this practice is in demand and widespread.

Abstract (sommario):
Автор рассматривает политику Пакистана в отношении ситуации в Афганистане на протяжении 106месяцев от подписания Женевских соглашений в апреле 1988г. и до вывода советских войск из Афганистана в феврале 1989г., опираясь на документы ООН. Этот этапбыл решающим для определения дальнейшего пути развития внутренней ситуации в Афганистане. Согласно выводам автора, занятая Пакистаном позиция не способствовала скорейшему урегулированию конфликта, причем данная страна даже бездействовала в отношении обращений, отправленных через ООН.

Introduction. One of the features of the Cold War was the movement of the rivalry of the superpowers into local armed conflicts and civil wars that took place on the territory of other states, mainly the Third World. The article examines the process of the involvement of the Soviet Union in the second half of the 1970s in the civil wars in Angola and Afghanistan. The policy of the USSR in armed conflicts outside the zone of its military-political influence has often been the subject of scientific research, but it has rarely been subjected to comparative analysis, and the authors make such an attempt, which is the novelty of the study. Methods and materials. The main method of the study is the method of comparative analysis (the actions of the USSR in 1975–1979 during the conflict in Angola and Soviet actions in the same period in Afghanistan are compared); the authors rely on documents, memoirs, and previous scientific works. Analysis. The first part of the article examines the process of the USSR’s involvement in the civil war in Angola, which began there soon after gaining independence, from the diplomatic recognition of the People’s Republic of Angola to the dispatch of Soviet military specialists. The second part of the article is devoted to the development of events in Afghanistan after the April 1978 revolution and Soviet involvement in them. Results. The authors conclude that the line adopted by the Soviet Union in relation to the military confrontation in Angola (financial, military, and other assistance, the dispatch of weapons, and military specialists) was ultimately more successful than the line implemented in relation to the civil war in Afghanistan in the form of direct military intervention by the Soviet army and its participation in the conflict outside the country. Authors contribution. T.V. Rabush described and analyzed the development of diplomatic relations between the USSR and Angola and with Afghanistan. R.A. Solovyev examined the military aspects of Soviet-Angolan and Soviet-Afghan cooperation (supply of weapons, sending military advisers, etc.). The research concept, conclusions, and literary editing of the text were carried out jointly.
