Testo completoThe research of resources, notably from banks, is often problematic for entrepreneurs without experience willing to start a very small business. Although more and more equipped with computerized decision tools, the first stage of the attribution of a loan by a bank is the meeting with a bank manager who acts as a filter. Having specified the concept of very small enterprise in the French context and attached steps to the field of the entrepreneurship, the author of this research offers an intersubjectiviste conceptual framework of this meeting by putting in obvious place elements determining the desire of the bank manager to make concrete the request of the entrepreneur. This model puts in an obvious place three categories of elements having an influence: the general context of relation and more particularly pressure of the bank on the bank manager, perceptible elements by the bank manager and cast in an expected professional situation during the meeting and, finally, the determinants of trust. The author supports that the desire of the bank manager is built on "soft" information which are itemized. These results were acquired from proposals born in the work experience of the author, by a double set of case study research; these results are then enriched by literature

Testo completoVery small firms deserve a particular attention considering their number, their contribution to the French gross domestic product and considering their status of professional customer for a large number of suppliers. The manager’s centrality in very small firm is at the origin of a confusion between the very small firm and the individual who steers it. This research develops a detailed understanding of the behavior of consumption of the manager under the double angle of the customer / supplier relationship on one hand and individual determiners in its behavior on the other hand. The concept of personal guidance / professional of the leader of very small firm is defined and a scale(ladder) of measure is proposed. A conceptual framework derived of the ethics individual is mobilized for establishing the validity of this scale in the context of the leaders of hairdressing salon

Testo completoThe economic stimulus package in late 2008 in France raises again the question of what the purpose of public procurement is. As instruments for the Administration, they have become the tools of public policy, economic levers. And their last function, in association with the support of the growth and economic potential of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), business model of reference, because the most represented, restarts the ongoing debate between facilitating and favoritism to the SME for their access to public procurement. Yet, the favoritism, as implemented by the american Small Business Act of 1953, culminating in the implementation of the European principles of public procurement: open access to public procurement, equal treatment of candidates and transparent procedures. Successive reforms of the Procurement Code have not ceased to integrate devices for SMEs: some have been canceled, as the introduction of quota policies in certain procedures or increased levels of mandatory disclosure ; others were held, in the case of the allotment or creation of simplified regulation. Facilitation becomes synonymous of relief procedures, regulatory simplification, and benefits all traders, regardless of size. Why, then, focus the debate on the profit made by all SMEs, alongside the introduction of a discriminant scheme only for innovative SMEs. The break may be not only between SMEs and large companies, but between the SMEs themselves in their access to public markets
Fhima, Fredj. "Financement des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises en Tunisie". Thesis, Paris Est, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010PEST3012.
Testo completoThe study of Tunisian Small and Medium-size Enterprises (SMEs) difficulties to access to funds shows that these enterprises experience a “banking integration deficit” that can be explained by credit rationing theory. The reluctance of Tunisian banks to become involved in SMEs' financing is largely explained by the structural and financial characteristics of the Tunisian banking system whereof of the dominance of commercial banks results in a limitation of competition on the financing cost. It is also explained by the weaknesses experienced by Tunisia as regards the sharing information and the creditors legal protection throughout the financing transaction. The empirical verification of Tunisian SMEs' credit rationing on the Tunisian bank credit market is founded on an estimate of a disequilibrium model on the basis of a panel data set of 1760 Tunisian SMEs over the period 2001-2006. Results show that Tunisian SMEs, dependent on bank credit, seek to avoid the call for this source of financing every time they experience an increase in their internal resources or have recourse to trade credit. The very strong risk aversion of banks makes the credit supply decision mainly dependent on real guarantee, and results to an average proportion of 90% - partially or totally - credit rationed enterprises

Testo completoThis thesis explores the financial and organizational strategies adopted by small businesses in order to conciliate growth and independence. The four chapters present theoretical and empirical contributions to this issue. The first chapter tests the relationship between family control and growth on a large sample of French small businesses. The negative relationship between family control and growth relates to the fact that family controlled small businesses have a higher propensity to adopt patient growth behavior. The second chapter presents a theoretical framework that explains why small businesses hold large amount of cash. The model demonstrates why small businesses, with illiquid growth opportunities, need constituting capital in advance to maintain their growth capacity. The third chapter investigates whether small business groups (SBG) are an organizational strategy that promotes growth. The results show that grouping small businesses promotes small business development, because SBGs improve capital allocation. The last chapter explores entrepreneur motivation to grow the business by building a SBG. According to the results SBGs are built in order to immunize entrepreneur wealth exposure to the business risk, not to increase entrepreneur private benefits of control.
