The intention with this artide is to spread knowledge about the Mam Diarra Bousso cult, centered around the pilgrimage to Porokhane, as an important though not particularly well known part of Mouridism in Senegal. Generally, the attention is paid to the founder, Shaykh Amadou Bamba. The pilgrimage to his tomb and the visit to his impressive mosque in Touba is by far the greatest yearly event of the Mourids. Here I concentrate on his mother, Mam Diarra, in an effort to accomplish a gender balance by giving voice to her female devotees. This Sufi movement is strictly hierarchical, dominated by a male Mourid elite, but simultanously open for female-inspired and populär rituals. The literature about female Morids is scarce, both in Senegal and abroad. By providing space in my text for Mourid women's histories about Mam Diarra Bousso as a saint with magic potentials and as an ideal wife and mother, I want to capture women's expressions of religiosity and their religious practice as described in their oral traditions and individual conversations. This tums out to be a somewhat ambiguous feminist enterprise, as the Mam Diarra ideal, based on patience, submission and tolerance towards the husband and a stainless moral behaviour, contradicts modern models of women as emancipated and liberated from male authority. Still, interpreted within the Sufi tradition of which Mouridism is a part, the cult in Porokhane has its own very distinct meaning. The women believe that Mam Diarra's characteristics as a mother predestined her to "give endlessly" and thereby help them towards a better life on earth and thereafter. In this perspective my interpretation is that the Mam Diarra cult provides Mourid women with both strength and self confidence.

The paper explores the dynamics of migration from city to suburban area within the Budapest metropolitan area, framed within the life course approach. This approach posits that life events and prior residential experiences shape individuals' migration decisions, with a focus on the interconnectedness of residential experiences. The results, based on semi-structured interviews, examine the motivations and expectations of new residents of the suburban area for their new residences. The main drivers of migration to suburban areas are child-rearing and the pursuit of a more favourable living environment, mirroring conditions akin to rural childhood settings. Furthermore, financial constraints and real estate prices in Budapest compared to suburban areas also emerged as significant factors.

This essay presents a case for Maura Laverty’s play Tolka Row (1951) to be recognised as a highly-accomplished prototype of the soap opera in Ireland. It argues that Tolka Row is an important Irish iteration of a quintessentially modern form that swept across Europe and the rest of the world in tandem with advances in broadcasting in the twentieth century. The analysis focuses on the unique way in which the play portrays the lived experiences of working-class women through unadorned, everyday ‘talk’. The innovative approach to dialogue in Tolka Row situates the play as an important precursor to the development of the television serial in Ireland – not merely due to its popularity and working-class milieu, as has been acknowledged in the past, but due to its creative formal characteristics. This paper thus suggests a reassessment of the legacy of the Gate Theatre, which has to date been defined primarily in relation to its production of avant-garde plays. While the Gate has been widely acknowledged as a bastion of European modernism in Ireland, Tolka Row forms part of the theatre’s contribution to the development of a different kind of response to modernization, in the form of popular culture. By drawing on previously unexplored archival material which shows evidence of significant cuts to the original script, this paper suggests that the directors of Gate Theatre Productions – Hilton Edwards and Micheál mac Líammóir – either denied or disavowed the extent to which a more popular drama could impact Irish theatre and society. The acceptance of the postulate that people's health is the general interest of human society and also its basic resource for development represents the shift in the focus of the health care system and the society from disease and treatment to health promotion and preservation, healthy lifestyles affirmation and to development of a healthy environment. The promotion of health is becoming the key area for public healthcare actions, and thus a key element of nursing practice. Through the presentation and comparison of the current concept of health promotion based on the bio-psycho-social model and the basic postulates of the Life Course Theory, the author implies the necessity of expanding the existing frames in health promotion theory and the significance of implementation of Life Course Theory into the nursing curriculum, giving at the same time basic guidelines for its practical application within the health promotion activities of the nurses.

Pendahuluan: Kebugaran kardiovaskuler merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam mekanisme homeostasis tubuh dan merupakan salah satu tolak ukur dari kesehatan individu. Penurunan aktivitas fisik atau sering disebut sedentary lifestyle dapat memengaruhi tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskuler dimana gaya hidup ini sering dijumpai pada remaja yang disebabkan oleh perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sedentary lifestyle terhadap kebugaran kardiovaskuler pada remaja sekolah SMAN 1 Ubud. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2021. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 97 sampel yang merupakan siswa di SMAN 1 Ubud. Peneliti mengukur tingkat sedentary lifestyle dengan kuesioner Adolescent Sedentary Activity Quesionnaire (ASAQ) yang diisi secara langsung oleh sampel. Setelah itu, sampel melakukan Harvard Step Test yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskuler. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis data mengggunakan analisis bivariat dengan uji spearman. Hasil: Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p value = 0,000 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,700. Simpulan: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat sedentary lifestyle terhadap kebugaran kardiovaskuler pada remaja sekolah SMAN 1 Ubud dimana semakin tinggi tingkat sedentary lifestyle maka semakin buruk kebugaran kardiovaskuler. The aim of this study was to investigate how the presence of the interpreter as a third person affects the meeting between social secretary and client. The study has been conducted through semi-structured interviews based on social secretary's experiences of interpreted meetings and experiences of power. The respondents are multilingual and have experience of participating in interpreted meetings where they themselves have been able to interpret the language. We have analyzed our empirical data based on Foucault's theory of pastoral power. In our empirical data, we found that it tends to be more difficult for social secretaries in interpreted meetings to create relationships and guide their clients, and thus the pastoral power loses its most fundamental principle. The triangular power theory that arises in interpreted meetings makes the relationship creation more difficult as the interpreter could have the opportunity to prevent or distort the information that is conveyed between the social secretary and the client. We have also found that all three parties in the conversation carry various factors into the meeting that can affect the situation in different directions, examples of factors can be age, gender and ethnicity. The social secretaries are aware of the influencing factors that can occur in interpreted meetings and have developed various tools and strategies to be able to respond to this. However, the social secretaries believe that it is difficult to pay attention to clear deficiencies in interpreted meetings when one cannot speak the language.

The purpuse of my study was to investigate how two preschool teachers creates mening around musik throughout their lives. I wanted to see which experiences thats been meaningful for both their private and professional relationship to music that they have today, if they diverge, and if it´s necessary to have a god relationship to music before their education and their start as a professional preschool teacher. I used life story by interviews as a method which means the participant tells me about their lives, how they experienced, understood and interpreted their world. I have analysed the stories through a whole perspective with focus on the content to understand what experience throughout their lives that´s been especially meaningful in creating the relation that they have to music today. In my study, I have seen that meaningful experiences has been formed by encouraged, stimulated and supported environments and a joyful communion. I have seen that my participants private experiance reflects on their profession, and it also shows that these experiances can come at anytime and anywhere.
Syftet med min studie var att undersöka hur två pedagoger har skapat mening kring musik under hela sitt liv. Jag ville se vilka erfarenheter som varit betydelsefulla för den relation som de har till musiken både privat och i sin yrkesroll som förskollärare idag, om de skiljer sig åt, och om det är nödvändigt att ha bra relation till ämnet innan utbildning och yrkesstart. Jag har använt mig utav livsberättelseintervju som metod vilket innebär att respondenten berättar om sitt liv, hur hen har upplevt, uppfattat och tolkat sin värld. Jag har analyserat berättelsen genom ett helhetsperspektiv med fokus på innehållet för att förstå vilka erfarenheter genom hela livet som varit meningsfulla för respondenterna i skapandet av sin nuvarande relation till musik. I min studie har jag sett att de meningsfulla erfarenheterna som mina respondenter har erfarit har kantats av en uppmuntrande, stimulerande och stöttade miljö, och en glädjefylld samvaro. Jag har sett att respondenternas privata erfarenheter som det skapats mening kring formar yrkesprofessionen, den visar också att respondenten kan få erfara positiva meningsfulla erfarenheter vid olika tider och i olika kontexter.

I arbetet kring läroplanen och lärares tolkning av läroplanen var målet att få en bredare bild av vilken plats läroplanen har hos en yrkesverksam lärare. Vi ville fånga tankarna kring processen från tolkning till färdigt klassrumsmaterial i ämnet svenska. Vi valde att genomföra två intervjuer samt två observationer med två lärare som är verksamma och undervisar i årskurs två. Under arbetets gång framkom svar på många frågor som berör arbetet kring och med läroplanen och hur olika och ibland lika den tolkas. I den ena intervjun framkom att man arbetade med utgångspunkt i en pedagogisk planering. Där fanns läroplanen som en bas för all planering som genomfördes gemensamt. Denna planering låg som bas för undervisning i årskurs 1-3. I den andra intervjun framkom att man arbetade mer enskilt med läroplanen, där kollegor och arbetslag fungerade som inspiration och vägledning. Undervisningen såg mer olik ut från år till år och läraren själv ansvarade för att målen täcktes in i undervisningen.

Abstract (sommario):

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att diskutera hur rättsväsendet är påverkat av normer och värderingar. Vi undersöker om sådana normer och värderingar visar sig i enskilda individers berättelser om ärenden som rör våldtäkt/sexuellt våld riktat mot kvinnor. Vår teoretiska utgångspunkt är feministisk och vi utgår därför från Joan W. Scotts förståelse av genus i vår studie. Vi har även använt oss av andra forskares tankegångar som exempelvis Stina Jeffner, Simon Ekström, Christian Diesen och Helena Sutorius/Anna Kaldal.

Vi analyserar åtta personliga intervjuer med individer som är verksamma inom rättsväsendet.1 Syftet ringas in med hjälp av tre frågor: 1) Vad är det för faktorer som enligt våra informanter påverkar rättsapparatens hanterande av fall som rör våldtäkt/sexuellt våld mot flickor och kvinnor? 2) Kan den juridiska definitionen och de utsagor som återkommer i massmedialt material, rättsprotokoll och våra intervjupersoners berättelser relateras till varandra? 3) Till sist vill vi även resonera något kring vilka följder och effekter som dessa relationer bidrar till.

Våra slutsatser är: I våra intervjupersoners berättande blir tydligt att när de konfronteras med våra frågor som bl.a. rör den massmediala kritiken angående felaktiga beslut i våldtäktsmål, så försvarar man sin egen yrkeskår och förskjuter problematiken till att gälla andra aktörer inom rättsväsendet och man ser sig inte själv som delaktig i denna process. Det blir även påtagligt i det mediala materialet och i rättsprotokollen att fokuseringen ligger på kvinnan, att våldtäkt i första hand förstås som ett kvinnoproblem. Detta tycker vi oss även återfinna i vår analys av intervjupersonernas berättande där problematiken runt våldtäkt/sexuellt våld riktat mot kvinnor främst förskjuts från att vara ett socialt samhällsproblem till att framstå som ett individuellt problem.

Tidigare forskning pekar på försämrad kommunikationsförmåga som ett av de mest uppmärksammade symtomen vid demenssjukdom. För att förmedla ett budskap till sin omgivning använder dementa som alla andra människor både verbala och icke-verbala signaler. Med tiden försämras deras verbala uttrycksätt och de börjar istället att i allt högre grad använda sig av de icke-verbala signalerna, som till exempel ansiktsuttryck, kroppsspråk, gester, paraspråk och liknande. Eftersom dementas olika kommunikativa uttryckssätt ibland kan vara väldigt svåra att tolka av andra i deras närhet, är det av stor betydelse att ta reda på de förutsättningar som påverkar detta. Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån vårdpersonalens berättelser belysa vilka faktorer som påverkar deras tolkning av dementas olika kommunikativa uttryckssätt under omvårdnadsmötet. För att svara på detta syfte har jag använt mig av fokusgruppsintervjuer som metod för att samla in data, vilken sedan analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visar att de faktorer som påverkar vårdpersonalens tolkning av dementas olika kommunikativa uttryckssätt är (1) kunskap, (2) yrkeskompetens och (3) institutionella aspekter som psykosocial miljö och tid. Den föreliggande studiens resultat kommer förhoppningsvis att bidra till en bättre kommunikation mellan dementa och vårdpersonal.

Abstract (sommario):
The objective of the project was to examine the possibility to use machine lear- ning without prior knowledge of machine learning or of mathematics and if that is possible also explore the possibility to use machine learning to interpret a picture of a piece of sheet music. The capacity of detecting notes from images of sheet music in the produced model was then compared to an existing pro- gram called Audiveris. The result became a model later used in a comparison with the program Audiveris. The comparison resulted in Audiveris finding al- most 100% of the notes but the new model only being able to detect about a third. The reasons for the big difference were probably: first that Audiveris has been in development for many years and secondly that the training data used for the new model wasn’t enough varied and complicated. To further increase the ability of the new model ́s skill the main point would be the need for more trai- ning data at the training of the model. Even then you need to supply a variation in the data ́s content and its degree of difficulty which is more varied then the first training data.
Målet med projektet har varit att undersöka om det går att applicera maskininlärning utan att ha kunskaper av maskininlärning och matematik sedan tidigare samt om detta är möjligt också undersöka om det går att använda maskininlärning för att tolka en bild av nottecken för musik. Detta användes sedan för att jämföra dess förmåga att upptäcka noter med ett redan existerande program kallat Audiveris. Metoden som användes var att bilder märktes med information om dess innehåll och sedan användes dessa bilder för att träna en maskininlärningsmodell att tolka bilder av nottecken. Sedan gjordes en manuell jämförelse av Audiveris resultat samt resultatet från maskininlärningsmodellen efter att den tränats på de nya notbilderna. Resultatet blev en modell som sedan användes vid jämförelsen med Audiveris. Den jämförelsen resulterade i att Audiveris visade sig bättre än den nytränade modellen då Audiveris hittade nästan 100% av noterna på bilden medan den nya modellen bara hittade cirka 33.3%. Orsaken till den stora skillnaden på upptäckande av nottecken berodde antagligen till stor del på två saker: den första att Audiveris utvecklats under många år och den andra att träningsdatat som användes till den nya modellen inte var tillräckligt varierat och komplicerat. För att vidareutveckla den nya modellens färdighet skulle framför allt mer träningsdata behöva användas vid träningsmomentet. Även då behövde man se till att variationen av material och dess svårighetsgrad blev mer varierat än vid grundmaterialet.

The purpose of this study was to within a Swedish context and from five persons of foreign descent stories study how they have been affected by interpreting for their parents during their childhood and how this has affected the relationships within the family. Studies conducted in an American context have shown that children interpreting for their parents in everyday situations are prone to undertake roles similar of a family leader. Previous studies also show an increased danger of depression among children who interpreted for their parents. The study was conducted by the use of semi-structured interviews with five male respondents with a varying ethnic background. Using Antonovsky´s theoretical formulation ”sense of coherence” we were able to determine that although our respondents during their childhood were subjected to a large amount of stressful elements they also maintained a high sense of well-being. With the help of Erving Goffman´s roll theory we have concluded that although traditional family roles seems to remain intact there is an element within the interpreting process in these families were a shift in family roles can occur and children will identify themselves as the family leader. In conclusion we have found that our respondents have experienced that interpreting for parents has been stressful but through strong family bonds and a high sense of meaningfulness in helping their parents our respondents have maintained a high sense of well-being. Usually the respondents would not take a leading role in the family due to a high sense of respect of their parents and due to the fact that their parents would not let them make any actual decisions regarding family matters.

This report describes the creation of an API that can extract information from pictures of receipts. Registration number, date, time, sum and tax are the information that the API was going to be able to deliver. This article explores the phenomenon of nostalgia for the Soviet era found in contemporary Russian society and manifested both in contemporary art, such as in the installations of Il'ja Kabakov, Sergej Volkov, and Jevgenij Fiks, and in modern literature, especially in the prose of Andrej Astvacaturov. Such regret for a bygone past primarily mourns not the apparatus of the Soviet state, but the routine and the quality of familiar daily life. Insights from the fields of visual studies and trauma studies undergird this exploration of the relationship between a work of art's visual composition and its representation of toska, memory, and material culture in the Soviet era. By juxtaposing artwork with literary prose, we reveal the significant role had by 'reflective' toska-nostalgia (as defined by Svetlana Boym, 2001) in the formation of post-Soviet identity.

The poetry of Israeli émigré Igor' Guberman, comprising thousands of quatrains (‘gariki’), represents a hybrid genre at the junction of Jewish aphoristic tradition, Russian oral folklore, and classical Russian poetry. The theme of toska, which is central to the gariki, may be sharply distinguished from the ‘restorative nostalgia’ theorized by Svetlana Boym (2001): Guberman's toska is a thoughtful, melancholic, and paradoxical feeling. It expresses a particular variety of skepticism that characterizes the paradoxical humor of the Ashkenazi, the purpose of which is not to ridicule others' shortcomings, but to gently make fun of the sadness and painful absurdity that impermeates human existence. Such melancholic and paradoxical humor permits Guberman to look at life, at himself, even at God, with an indulgent ‘smile of reason’ that is absolutely devoid of arrogance. A subtle melancholic and deep skeptic, Guberman "laughs through his tears", for this is what Russian-Jewish tradition teaches, a lesson that has penetrated deeply and more generally into Russian literature: when the soul is beset by excessive sadness, its has recourse only to laughter.

In the poetic legacy of Vladimir Vysockij, feelings of nostalgia are expressed in diverse ways, conveying various shades of boredom, longing, and melancholy. A special role is played in Vysockij's oeuvre by the so-called “longing for a heroic era”, which is sometimes expressed explicitly, but more often found in the implicit representation of “longing for a heroic deed”. Vysockij's conception of the heroic deed or feat (podvig) casts this as a moral and spiritual state that contrasts sharply with the surrounding world and with everyday life. While Vysockian "longing for a heroic deed" can be associated with specific geographic contexts (including mountains, the taiga, glaciers in the North), this articles argues that it was the peculiar chronotope of the Great Patriotic War that served as the quintessential context for the heroic feat in Vysockij's universe.

The results of a prognostics case study on GE Frame 5001P first stage turbine disc are presented in this paper. Currently used and promoted practices for metallurgical analysis such as hardness testing and replica based microstructural assessment and inspection of rotors for dimensional checks and cracks are not sufficient to ensure safety and reliability of the engine. The uncertainly of all engine variables including operational environment must be considered prior to returning the engine to service. It is required to accurately predict the temperature profile of the discs that can have serious consequences on the residual life assessment of the fracture prone rotors. The safe inspection interval (SII) determination of the design life expired engines and defining non-destructive inspection (NDI) sensitivity requirements for continued safe operation of the engine are equally important.

Denna rapport ingår i forskningsprojektet Att skapa goda livsfärdigheter bland unga. Den första delrapporten var en nationell och internationell kartläggning över initiativ och insatser för att främja psykisk hälsa bland unga. Bland insatser som verkar mer lovande – och till synes har goda möjligheter att göra skillnad för ungas psykiska hälsa - framträder insatser vars syfte är att höja kunskapen om psykisk hälsa bland unga och vuxna. Ökad kunskap om psykisk hälsa har visat sig vara ett viktigt verktyg för att utveckla färdigheter i hur man tolkar och förstår sina egna känslor och sin kropp och när man behöver kontakta vården. Dessutom är dessa insat-ser ofta samhällsekonomiskt kostnadseffektiva, eftersom de ger unga bättre livsfärdigheter och på sikt leder till minskat vårdsökande och bättre förutsättningar att klara skolan och i förlängningen arbetslivet. Sådana satsningar går även i linje med Barnkonventionen 24§ om alla barns rätt till bästa möjliga hälsa, som sedan 2020 är lag i Sverige. Rekommendat-ioner från den första delrapporten innefattar att rusta unga med färdigheter för att möta livets svårigheter och höja kunskapen om psykisk ohälsa. Det handlar också om att bistå vuxna med kunskap om psykisk hälsa och verk-tyg som främjar hälsa för att kunna stödja unga. Insatser för att främja unga personers hälsa bör följas upp under en längre tid.I denna rapport presenteras röster från unga och yrkesverksamma vuxna i ungas närhet om ungas livssituation kopplat till livsfärdigheter, psykisk hälsa och behov av stöd. Genom att lyssna in unga kan vi bättre hitta framgångsfaktorer för att främja ungas psykiska hälsa och välbefinnande.
