Abstract The galvanic corrosion behavior of a depleted uranium-titanium alloy (DU-.75Ti) coupled to MgZk60A-T5, AA-7075-T6, bare steel-4340, and coated steel-4340 exposed to ASTM seawater was investigated by monitoring the galvanic current with time. Gravimetric measurements, polarization resistance measurements, and concepts of "mixed-potential" theory were used to calculate corrosion rates.
