I Mobile Social Network consentono alle persone di connettersi fra di loro, condividere interessi comuni, opinioni, informazioni e media. Il fattore alla base che accomuna tutti i tempi è sempre la relazione: gli uomini hanno il bisogno vitale di stare con gli altri e se per farlo, oltre che scambiando foto e video, si trovassero delle vie concrete per crescere in solidarietà ed aumentare il bene comune? Nasce così il desiderio di affrontare lo studio di questa tesi facendo ricerca ed esplorazione attraverso tre tappe ben precise. Il titolo “MOBILE SOCIAL NETWORK: dalle RETI SOCIAL al SOCIALE in RETE” racchiude le tre parti e nell’ordine in cui vengono esposte. Nella prima “Mobile Social Network”, si è affrontata la parte teorica e tecnica che spiega chi sono e come sono fatti i MSN; quindi dalla loro definizione fino all’illustrazione dei componenti, delle architetture e dagli ambiti di applicazione. Nella seconda sezione, “dalle Reti Social” si raccontano i protagonisti social più famosi di oggi attraverso una rassegna sviluppata per punti, ovvero le caratteristiche a fattor comune dei MSN stessi. Nella terza sezione, “al Sociale in Rete”, si sperimenta l’ambito del solidale percorrendo una approfondita ricerca sul web di tutte le possibili applicazioni MSN esistenti che abbiano uno scopo solidale per giungere così alla conclusione della tesi che consiste nella presentazione di un progetto che si propone la creazione di un’app solidale per un’associazione che opera a sostegno di persone in difficoltà: “ARCA MOBILE” una piattaforma per far incontrare domanda ed offerta dove protagonisti sono gli arredi, a sostegno di persone disagiate che non hanno la possibilità di arredare casa o reperire un mobile di cui necessitano.

Bakgrund: Enligt en undersökning gjord av Livsmedelsverket beräknas tjugo procent av Sveriges barn i dagsläget vara överviktiga eller lida av fetma. Orsaker till detta sägs vara bland annat ändrade levnadsvanor som exempelvis mindre fysisk aktivitet och mindre hälsosam mat. Övervikt ses i normala fall av samhället som ett problem och på senare tid har allt fler samhällsaktörer börjat uppmärksamma frågan. Kravet från samhället ökar på att bland annat företagen skall ta sitt sociala ansvar och hörsamma samt agera för en samhällsförbättring med syfte att komma tillrätta med överviktsproblemet. Något som dock inte har fått lika mycket utrymme i debatten om socialt ansvar i samband med övervikt är hur den offentliga sektorn agerar i denna situation.

Syfte: Utgör statens, kommunens, landstingets och skolans nuvarande agerande var för sig ett socialt ansvartagande med syfte att skapa de bästa förutsättningarna för en grundskolelev att komma tillrätta med sin övervikt? Skapar dessutom de fyra parternas gemensamma sociala ansvarstagande tillräckligt med förutsättningar för att grundskoleleven skall komma tillrätta med sin övervikt?

Tillvägagångssätt: Resultatet baseras på en intervjuundersökning med representanter för landsting, kommuner och skolor i Östergötlands län, närmare bestämt i kommunerna Linköping och Mjölby. Ytterligare har statens offentliga handlingar studerats och utvärderats.

Resultat: Resultatet av undersökningen visar att det fyra olika aktörerna uppmärksammar problemet om barns-, och i detta specifika fall grundskolelevers övervikt. De fyra aktörerna staten, kommunen, landstinget och skolan tar var och en ett socialt ansvar genom både kort och långsiktiga projekt. På frågan om de fyra parternas gemensamma ansvarstagande utgör tillräckliga förutsättningar för att ett barn själv skall komma tillrätta med sin övervikt är svaret nej. Exempelvis erkänner alla inblandande parter själva att de skulle kunna göra mer för att förbättra den rådande situationen. Aktörerna menar att det som saknas är ett helhetstänkande, att exempelvis hälsokunskap skulle behöva integreras i hela skolverksamheten och inte bara i samband med ämnet idrott och hälsa eller i olika temaveckor. Det som ytterligare skulle behövas för att lösa situationen är ett bättre samarbete mellan, de i denna undersökning, fyra olika aktörerna.

Social ångest på sociala medier är ett relativt outforskat område där fortsatt forskning underlättas av psykometriskt tillfredsställande självskattningsskalor. Följande studie syftade till att översätta Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) och psykometriskt utvärdera den avseende dess latenta dimensioner, interna konsistens samt konvergerande respektive divergerande validitet i ett svenskt urval. Därutöver undersöktes samband mellan total användning och passiv respektive aktiv användning av sociala medier och social ångest, eftersom tidigare studier visat en tendens till passiv användning. Tre faktorer erhölls för SAS-SMU och resultaten visade hög intern konsistens samt att skalan konvergerade med SPIN, och divergerade med OCI-R, SWSL, PHQ-9 och GAD-7. Skalans tredje faktor erhöll dock svagare samband med SPIN jämfört med de andra faktorerna. Social ångest associerades med passiv användning i högre utsträckning än aktiv, samt med längre genomsnittlig användning av sociala medier. Resultaten skiljer sig från tidigare studier där signifikanta samband endast erhållits mellan passiv användning och social ångest.
Measurement scales are needed to facilitate further research on social anxiety in the context of social media. This study aimed to translate the Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) and evaluate its psychometric properties in a Swedish sample regarding its underlying dimensions, internal consistency, converging and diverging validity. Furthermore, relationships between passive, active and total use of social media and social anxiety were explored, since previous studies have shown a tendency towards passive use. Three factors were retained for SAS-SMU with satisfactory internal consistency. SAS-SMU converged with SPIN and diverged with OCI-R, SWLS, PHQ-9 and GAD-7. However, the association between its third factor and SPIN was weaker compared to the other factors. Results indicated that higher levels of social anxiety were more strongly associated with passive use than active use, as well as longer general social media use. This is at odds with previous studies only reporting significant correlations between social anxiety and passive use of social media.

Les xarxes socials són un fenomen força nou. Milions de persones utilitzen la xarxa per a comunicar les seves idees i penjar fotografies a llocs públics. L'estudi que presentem pretén fer una aproximació a com aquest nou fenomen de xarxes socials afecta a la construcció de la identitat dels adolescents. L’objectiu és analitzar els processos de construcció del jo i de presentació social en adolescents entre 11 i 16 anys mitjançant els FotoBlogs. Més concretament, es pretenen analitzar les relacions i interaccions entre l’autoconcepte, concepte del jo ideal, heteroconcepte i autoconcepte visual. Més concretament volem observar l’heteropercepció i l’autoconcepte que té la persona en funció de la imatge que veu. Pel que fa a la primera hipòtesi hi ha dues possibilitats: que l’adolescent manifesti absència de coneixement personal de l’altre o que parteixi d’un coneixement interpersonal. Per altra banda, ens plantegem si hi ha relació entre el jo visual (com volem mostrar-nos en societat) i el jo ideal (que té la funció de fer-nos sortir del que ja som per projectar-nos en el que podem arribar a ser). La mostra està constituïda per 40 participants procedents de l’Escola Grèvol que conformen el Grup A i 240 alumnes de la mateixa escola que anomenarem Grup B (veure el punt 5.6: “Procediment”). S’ha administrat una adaptació de la tècnica de la Graella de Kelly (1995/1991) per tal de valorar la relació entre el jo, el jo ideal i el jo visual, i els resultats obtinguts s’han analitzat amb el programa informàtic SPSS. S’administra individualment a cada subjecte del Grup A una adaptació de la Graella de Kelly, i se’ls demanen 10 característiques que els defineixin i tot seguit els seus pols oposats. Finalment hauran de valorar mitjançant una escala de Likert de l’1 al 7 en quin pol s’aproximen més al seu jo, jo ideal i jo visual. Per al jo visual ens hem centrat en les fotografies que tenien penjades als seus FotoBlogs. Per acabar hem ensenyat aquestes Graelles als alumnes que formen part del Grup B. Hem analitzat les dades amb el programa SPSS. Un cop obtinguts els resultats hem contrastat que la hipòtesi de la manipulació d’impressions i la del jo fictici es compleixen ja que els resultats obtinguts amb l’SPSS ens donen significatiu. Pel que fa a les hipòtesis relacionades amb l’heteropercepció hem trobat discrepàncies ja que els resultats entre els que coneixen a l’adolescent del Grup A i els que no el coneixen no són significatives.
Las redes sociales son un fenómeno muy nuevo. Millones de personas utilizan la red para comunicar sus ideas y colgar fotografías en lugares públicos. El estudio que presentamos pretende hacer una aproximación a cómo este nuevo fenómeno de redes sociales afectará a la creación de la identidad de los adolescentes. El objetivo es analizar los procesos de construcción del yo y de presentación social en adolescentes entre 11 y 16 años mediante los FotoBlogs. Más concretamente, se pretende analizar las relaciones e interacciones entre el autoconcepto, concepto del yo ideal, heteroconcepto y el autoconcepto visual. En este estudio queremos observar la heteropercepción y el autoconcepto que tiene la persona en función de la imagen que ve. En cuanto a la primera hipótesis encontramos dos variables: si el adolescente presenta ausencia de conocimiento personal o si parte de un conocimiento interpersonal. Por otra parte, nos planteamos si hay relación entre el yo visual (como queremos mostrarnos en sociedad) y el yo ideal (que tiene la función de hacer salir lo que ya somos para proyectarnos en lo que podemos llegar a ser). La muestra está constituida por 40 sujetos procedentes de la Escuela Grèvol que conforman el Grupo A y 240 alumnos de la misma escuela que llamaremos Grupo B. (ver el punto 5.6 procedimiento) Se ha administrado una adaptación de la técnica de la Parrilla de Kelly para valorar la relación entre el yo, el yo ideal y el yo visual. Y los resultados obtenidos se han analizado con el programa informático SPSS. Se administra individualmente a cada sujeto del Grupo A una adaptación de la Parrilla de Kelly, en la que se les ha pedido 10 características que los definan y seguidamente sus polos opuestos. Finalmente deberán valorar mediante una escala de Likert del 1 al 7 qué polo se aproxima más a su yo, yo ideal y yo visual. Para el yo visual nos hemos centrado en las fotografías que tenían colgadas en sus FotoBlogs. Para terminar, hemos enseñado estas Parrillas a los alumnos que forman parte del Grupo B. Hemos analizado los datos con el programa SPSS. Una vez obtenidos los resultados se ha observado que la hipótesis de la manipulación de impresiones y la del yo ficticio se cumple ya que los resultados obtenidos con el SPSS nos dan significativo. En cuanto a las hipótesis relacionadas con la heteropercepción hemos encontrado discrepancias ya que los resultados entre los que conocen al adolescente del Grupo A y los que no lo conocen no son significativas.
Social networks are a quite new phenomenon. Millions of people use the Internet to communicate their ideas and upload photos in public places. The study aims to present a new approach to how this phenomenon affects the social networking identity building of adolescents. The main purpose is to analyze the self-construction process and social image in adolescents between 11 and 16 years through photo blogs. More specifically, the basic intention is to analyze the relationships and interactions between self-concept, self-ideal, hetero-concept and self-image. More exactly, we observe self-perception and self-concept that is based on the person who sees the image. Regarding the first hypothesis, there are two possibilities: on the one hand, the teenager manifests lack of personal knowledge or on the other hand, this is coming from interpersonal knowledge. Moreover, we wonder whether there is a relationship between the self-image (how we show ourselves in society) and the self-ideal (which has the function of show ourselves how we are to project on what we could be). The sample consists of a survey of 40 participants from Escola Grèvol called Group A and 240 students from the same school called Group B (see point 5.6 "Procedure"). We used an adaptation of the technique of Grid Kelly (1995/1991) to assess the relationship between the self, the ego and the ideal view ego, and the results were analyzed with SPSS program. We provided individually to each subject an adaptation of the Grid Kelly, and they were asked 10 characteristics that defined themselves and then their opposites. Finally, they should evaluate using a Likert scale from 1 to 7 which pole is closer to their self, self-ideal and self-image. Regarding the self-image, we focused on the photographs on their photo blogs. To conclude, these grids were shown to the students who are part of Group B. Data was analyzed using SPSS. Once we obtained the results, the hypothesis of manipulation and the impressions from unreal self were fulfilled since the results taken from SPSS were positive. Regarding the assumptions related to hetero-perception, we found differences because the results from a known or unknown adolescent from Group A are not meaningful.

El presente trabajo de tesis surgió del interés de investigar cómo las actuales Políticas Sociales en materia de Seguridad Social: Asignación familiar por hijo, Asignación por nacimiento, y Plan de inclusión previsional, han interpelado e influenciado en las intervenciones de los/as Trabajadores/as Sociales. Para alcanzar el objetivo investigativo, se realizó un trabajo de campo, que partió de la siguiente hipótesis de trabajo: “Las intervenciones de los/as Trabajadores/as Sociales, fuertemente influenciadas en su mirada asistencial por el modelo de Políticas Sociales Neoliberal, han sido interpeladas críticamente por el actual modelo de Políticas Sociales Posneoliberal." Se desarrollaron las características de las Políticas Sociales de distintos modelos de Estado implementados en la Argentina, y como estos influenciaron en las intervenciones de los/as Trabajadores/as Sociales. Dicho recorrido histórico nos permitió pensar al Trabajo Social hoy.

The thesis work focuses on marketing and its point of departure centers on mapping the utilization of social media as a form of marketing. The choice of this thesis subject has been deemed by the authors as one of particular interest due to the current popularity of social media in the Internet connected society and their use as marketing tools. Specifically, this thesis sets out to explore how companies exploit social media tools in marketing and how their use affects retail operations and customer relations in an effective and creative way.The report concentrates on qualitative data collection, the interview answers of four respondents, of which, two are considered experts within the field of social media. The choice of suitable respondents was strategic with the goal of covering as large a portion of the social media field as possible; one social media educator that works with companies and one who assists companies with social media applications. The remaining two respondents work in marketing and communications and employ, as part of their job, social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter. The choice of the company study object was based on the sample company’s development of a service centered on social media. Only interviewing individuals working with social media and not consumers, allowed for defining a clear scope for the study and personal interest in the business operators’ viewpoints drove that choice.The theoretical framework comprises the central concepts relationship marketing, traditional marketing, the 4 ps of marketing: product, price, promotion (i.e communication and marketing), and place (distribuation), and lastly 7 steps in creating an effective social media communication platform e.g developing a current communication platform and maintaining active participation which enables one to follow societal developments. Marketers devote more time and resources than ever towards developing relationships with customers emphasizing communication, trust, mutual understanding, and effectiveness. This postulate is central to the importance and focus of this study and the interview responses collected are used to explore the connection between this statement and the importance of social media and discussed in the thesis analysis.One of the primary conclusions of this thesis report is that the companies and retailers that have devoted money and resources towards integrating social media tools into their marketing strategies have benefited, experiencing increased sales turnovers and flourishing retail operations, as well as receiving positive feedback from consumers. These businesses become more accessible and have the opportunity to reach out to a larger number of potential customers; spreading their messages and sharing their history. Social media and the virtual realm, in totality, are becoming increasingly important, company's survival and development opportunities will increase if they use social media in their marketing.
Denna rapport är ett examensarbete inriktad på ämnesområdet marknadsföring, där fokus ligger på att klarlägga utnyttjandet av sociala medier som marknadsföringsform. Intresset för studien har sin grund i att sociala medier är så pass aktuella i dagens Internetuppkopplade samhälle att de blivit ett marknadsföringsverktyg. Vi har undersökt hur företag använder sig av sociala medier i sin marknadsföring och hur den påverkar butiksverksamheten och kundrelationen på ett effektivt och kreativt sätt.Rapporten är grundad på intervjusvar från fyra personer. Valet av personer gjordes för att täcka så stor del av branschen som möjligt. Två av dem är så kallade branschmänniskor som dagligen arbetar med sociala medier varav en utbildar företag och en hjälper företag. De två andra personerna som intervjuades har som yrke att marknadsföra och kommunicera sitt företag med hjälp av sociala medier så som Facebook och Twitter. Valet av företag gjordes bland de företag som hade utformat en tjänst kring sociala medier. Anledningen till valet att endast intervjua personer som arbetar med sociala medier och inte konsumenter var att vi ville avgränsa oss och använda näringsidkarens synvinkel då vi själva en dag ska arbeta som butikschefer.Den teoretiska referensramen omfattar benämningar om relationsmarknadsföring, traditionell marknadsföring, de 4 pna inom marknadsföring; produkt, pris, promotion ”marknadsföring” och plats ”distribution”, de sociala mediernas sju steg för att uppnå en aktuell kommunikationsplattform och aktivt deltagande för att följa utvecklingen i dagens samhälle. I den teoretiska referensramen tas även upp vilket kraftfullt marknadsföringsverktyg det sociala nätverket har blivit. Marknadsförare ägnar mer tid och resurser än någonsin för att skapa en relation till sina kunder. Det handlar om kommunikation, förtroende, samförstånd och effektivitet. Detta lyfts fram och jämförs med de intervjusvar vi fått från de olika respondenterna och kommer att presenteras i analysen.De betydande slutsatser som framkommit i rapporten är att de företag och butiker som har tagit till sig de sociala medierna och satsar pengar och resurser på det ser en ökad omsättning på sin försäljning, gynnsam butiksverksamhet och får en positiv respons från konsumenter. De blir mer tillgängliga och har möjlighet att nå ut och sprida sitt budskap och sin historia till fler människor. Den virituella världen och de sociala medierna tar över mer och mer, företags överlevnads och utvecklingsmöjligheter ökar om de använder sig av de sociala medierna i sin marknadsföring.

L'objet de la thèse soutenue est de rapporter et d'interpréter des résultats obtenus expérimentalement dans le champ d'une certaine catégorie de pratiques sociales, celles du travail social, en référence à un appareil théorique issu de la psychologie sociale cognitive. Les principaux concepts de la psychologie sociale cognitive y sont mobilisés : la catégorisation, la formation des prototypes, les théories implicites de la personnalité, l'illusion de corrélation, la distorsion systématique, l'attribution, l'explication des renforcements et la psychologisation. L'étude du fonctionnement de ces processus cognitifs dans les pratiques du travail social n'apporte pas de résultats contraires aux effets classiquement observés a propos de ces procéssus envisagés comme des opérations de traitement de l'information dans une conception de "l'homme en tant que scientifique". Mais il apparait que ces effets sont aussi sous la dépendance de variables dites "positionnelles". Leur intensité est affectée par le type de rapports sociaux que les personnes entretiennent avec les informations traitées. L'analyse de ces résultats montre qu'il existe des retombées normatives et idéologiques du fonctionnement des processus cognitifs dans le travail social auprès des inadaptés sociaux. Ils plaident ainsi en faveur d'une conception sociocognitive de "l'homme en tant qu'idéologue"
The doctoral thesis presents and proposes interpretations of results obtained in experimental investigations centred on a kind of social practices : the practices of social work, and articulated with theoretical framework issued of social cognitive psychology. The main concepts of social cognitive psychology were used : categorization, prototypical construction, implicit personality theories, illusory correlation, systematic distortion, attribution, explanation of reinforcements and psychologization. The analysis of these cognitive processes in social workers's practices did not give opposite results to those obtained when the processes are studied in the conception of "man as scientist". But it was shown that the effects are dependant of other factors. Their importance is due to the kind of people' social implications with analyzed informations. The analysis of results shows that there were normativ and ideological effects of cognitive processes in social work. These results reinforce a socio-cognitive conception of "man as ideologic"

Social Networking Sites allow users to manage their homepages to present themselves, and to interact with friends through networked connections. Some of these sites attract people from different cultural backgrounds (e.g. Facebook), providing an opportunity for online multi-cultural social networking to occur. This project aimed to contribute to cross-cultural Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) research, by investigating this kind of multi-cultural social networking. It focussed upon: 1) the role of cultural differences on users’ perception of self-presentation of others; 2) the relationship between cross-cultural social capital and cross-cultural social networking on social networking sites; and 3) unveiling factors affecting users’ decisions regarding social networking interactions. The researcher firstly investigated whether cultural differences in online self-presentation through communication styles affect audiences’ perception, and whether audiences from different cultural backgrounds have different ways of perceiving others’ online self-presentation. Secondly, whether cross-cultural social capital was associated with the intensity of cross-cultural social networking, and through which ways users can obtain the benefits of social capital through social networking interactions. Lastly, explored the factors influencing users’ decisions on whether and/or how much effort to place upon each type of social networking.British and Chinese social networking users were chosen as research participants to represent two different cultural groups. By systematically comparing the difference between them, the results suggest: 1) Cultural differences in online self-presentation do influence people’s perception of others, though it is not the only factor that affects this perception. British and Chinese audiences tend to focus on different cues when perceiving online self-presentations. 2) Cross-cultural social capital was positively associated with cross-cultural social networking. Further interview analysis revealed all kinds of social networking interactions (i.e. observing, communicating, grouping) could help users obtain the benefits of bridging social capital (e.g. acquiring new information and diffusing reciprocity); however only communicating and grouping with strong relationships brought different aspects of the benefit of bonding social capital to British and Chinese users. For instance, communicating and grouping helped Chinese users receive substantive support and access to limited resources; whereas grouping with strong relationships helped British users mobilize solidarity. 3) Three main factors may influence users’ decisions regarding multi-cultural social networking interactions: (a) relationship strength - although both British and Chinese users tend to communicate mostly with strong relationships, they have differences in observing and grouping with different relationships. British users tend to observe mostly strong relationships and group with all relationships, whereas Chinese users tend to group mostly with strong relationships and observe all relationships; (b) perceived benefit of social capital - only bridging social capital benefit affected British users’ decision, whereas both bridging and bonding social capital benefits motivated Chinese users; and (c) users’ cultural background.

Cette recherche porte sur le style de comportement et l'influence d'une minorite active sur la majorite dans un groupe restreint ayant la possibilite de creer collectivement un germe de changement social et d'elargir le champ d'action innovatrice notamment dans la situation de dilemme social. Dans ce but, la classification de dilemmes sociaux en deux types, a savoir le dilemme synchronique et le dilemme diachronique, a ete theoriquement tentee. Aussi, la condition generale concernant l'affiliation la participation et l'intervention des minorites actives a une interaction innovatrice dans un groupe a ete abordee, avec l'experimentation des paradigmes, du point de vue de la categorisation sociale de la source de l'influence, notamment sous l'angle de la relation intergroupe. L'image de la minorite active a ete egalement examinee selon les deux situations de dilemme synchronique et diachronique et selon le cas ou des minorites intragroupes et hors-groupes sont categorisees socialement comme minoritaires. The research concerns the behavioral style and the influence of an activr minority in a small group which can create collectively a germ of social change and en large the innovative dimension of social actions. In this aim, the classification of social dilemmas in two types such as synchronic dilemma and diachronic dilemma was theoretically envisaged. The general condition concerning the affiliation, the participation and the intervention of active minorities to an innovative interaction of a group was examined in terms of social categorization of the influence source. The image of active minority was then studied according to both social dilemmas and social categorization. O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar se o selo social concedido por uma entidade filantrópica às empresas que o solicitaram, seria um indicador de responsabilidade social dessas empresas. Tal pesquisa abrange o município de Criciúma (SC). É realizada uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a concepção do mercado, a reflexão ética nas empresas e a racionalidade predominante na sociedade de mercado. A teoria administrativa, a gestão empresarial e o indivíduo nas organizações. Analisa ainda, o terceiro setor, a responsabilidade social corporativa e os instrumentos sociais utilizados na estratégia empresarial. Assim são analisados: a gestão empresarial das empresas envolvidas, como e por que utilizam o selo social e sugestões e críticas dessa experiência, conforme percebido pelos dirigentes. O trabalho propõe algumas mudanças para a melhor utilização do selo social, como forma de parceria entre a entidade filantrópica e as empresas privadas.

Nos últimos anos percebemos o aumento da visibilidade de alguns fenômenos relacionados ao tema das drogas, e sua identificação enquanto expressões da questão social, incidindo nas discussões de políticas setoriais. O assistente social enquanto profissional diretamente envolvido na execução de políticas públicas, e em diferentes espaços ocupacionais tem se deparado com a temática, no entanto identifica-se a escassez bibliográfica do Serviço Social sobre o assunto. A pesquisa documental e bibliográfica teve como objetivo geral a análise da produção acadêmica (dissertações e teses) do Serviço Social sobre o tema drogas. Para sua realização obteve-se os seguintes objetivos específicos: caracterizar as principais tendências da produção acadêmica do Serviço Social desenvolvidas sobre o tema drogas; identificar como as dimensões teóricas, operacionais e ético-políticas são apresentadas na produção acadêmica do Serviço social sobre o tema drogas; apresentar as contribuições e limites das pesquisas analisadas no âmbito da produção acadêmica do Serviço Social sobre o tema drogas para a interlocução com as políticas sociais e a garantia de direitos. A amostra foi composta por 14 dissertações e duas teses. Os resultados apontam a influência da psicologia, psicanálise, psiquiatria e sociologia, reforçando o traço marcante da profissão em se utilizar de outras áreas de produção do conhecimento para formar o seu arcabouço teórico. Observa-se ainda, a existência de dificuldades na identificação dos instrumentais voltados ao atendimento das demandas relacionadas ao tema, e de aproximações dos objetos de pesquisa das produções analisadas com o Serviço Social. Quanto às contribuições verifica-se a introdução de discussões inovadoras sobre as diferentes modalidades de intervenção junto aos usuários de drogas, problematização de questões de gênero nos espaços de atendimento na modalidade de residência terapêutica, as relações entre religiosidade e o Serviço Social, além do atendimento a segmentos sociais específicos, como criança, adolescente e idoso.

Abstract : In the past few years an increase in the visibility of a few phenomena related to the issue of drugs has been noticed, as well as their identification as expressions of the social matter upon the discussions of sectorial policies. The social worker as a professional directly involved in the implementation of public policies, and in different occupational facilities has faced the issue of drugs, however, there is a lack of theory in Social Work on the matter. The documentary and bibliographic research aimed to the analysis the limits and contributions of academic production (Master Science Works and PhD theses) Social Work on the drugs in the period 1998-2012. For its realization we obtained the following specific objectives: characterize the main tendencies of academic production in Social Work developed on the issue of drugs; identify how the theoretical, operational and political-ethical dimensions are presented in the academic production in Social Work; present the contributions and limitations of research analyzed in the academic production in Social Work for the dialogue with social policies and the guarantee of rights. The sample was composed of fourteen master science works and two PhD theses. The results show the influence of other areas of knowledge, such as psychology, psychoanalyses, psychiatry and sociology, reinforcing the significant characteristic of the profession in utilizing other areas to form its theoretical framework. Still, the existence of difficulties in the identification of instruments turned to the services related to the issue, besides the difficulty in approaching the objects of research of this production analyzed with Social Work has been observed. As to contributions, the introduction of innovative discussions about the different modalities of intervention with drug users, problematization of issues of gender in service facilities in medical residency, issues related to religion and Social Work, besides the service provided to specific segments, such as infants, teenagers and the elderly has also been noticed.

O presente estudo tem o propósito de compreender como se constituem, efetivamente, os projetos sociais desenvolvidos pelas empresas que adotam a responsabilidade social na gestão empresarial. Atualmente, verifica-se uma expansão de iniciativas dirigidas a trabalhos sociais, assumidas por grupos da sociedade civil, nos quais estão inclusos os empresários. A definição de responsabilidade social surge inicialmente nos Estados Unidos, na primeira metade do século XX, oriunda de uma postura filantrópica adotada pelas empresas norte-americanas que desenvolvem, há algumas décadas, projetos de educação, de cultura e de assistência social. O exercício da responsabilidade social das empresas encontra-se, no bojo do terceiro setor, como nova forma de ação social para o enfrentamento das questões postas pelo poder econômico que resultam em diminuição de capacidade de inserção social, com conseqüente aumento de mazelas para a sociedade. The purpose of this study is to analyze social projects developed by businesses that adopt social responsibility as part of their business plan. Of late, the number of social work initiatives taken on by private groups, including businesses, has grown. The growth can be explained, in part, by the government's attempt to shift the locus of responsibility for unequal social rights to civil society. Through financial donations and other activities some businesses have attempted to diminish social problems by developing social responsibility projects. The social responsibility movement first appeared in the United States during the first half of the 20th century. It originated in the philanthropic posture adopted by some North American business leaders, such as Andrew Carnegie, and pursued by some U.S. businesses. Over the decades, the practice of corporate sponsorship of various educational, cultural, and social assistance projects became more and more common. In Brazil, social responsibility by the private sector is relatively new. It takes the form of a new kind of social action designed to confront the challenges of a decreased social integration capacity and the bad image that such a society creates. Businesses benefit from their social responsibility projects by attracting more consumers. Their activities serve as a form of marketing, transmitting to consumers the idea that the company practices good citizenship. This new kind of business activity holds forth the promise of acting like a brake on some of the less desirable effects of a market economy. To understand the complexity of this theme and place it in theoretical context, an extensive review of the literature was combined with empirical research on two Ribeirão Preto/SP businesses. Tese de Doutoramento em Ciências Sociais na especialidade de Serviço Social
Esta pesquisa pretende compreender as representações das práticas de intervenção e os desafios contemporâneos do Serviço Social no âmbito da responsabilidade social empresarial interna. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, indutivo e qualitativo, alicerçado num paradigma compreensivo e tendo por base os testemunhos recolhidos em vinte entrevistas a assistentes sociais inseridas profissionalmente em empresas portuguesas com práticas internas socialmente responsáveis. A intervenção do Serviço Social na responsabilidade social interna das empresas é representada em três níveis de atuação (macro, meso e micro), destacando-se o acompanhamento de casos individuais e o trabalho com grupos. Recorre a modelos de prática diversificados (centrados no colaborador, nos problemas e na empresa) e desempenha funções de investigação, planeamento e administração, desenvolvendo um conjunto de papéis multifacetados, tendo em vista a educação para a cidadania dos colaboradores e a promoção da democracia organizacional. As profissionais consideram ter um nível de autonomia operacional positivo, não identificando constrangimentos estruturais. Por último, o grande desafio contemporâneo do Serviço Social nas práticas socialmente responsáveis das empresas é a incorporação de um papel sociopolítico de educação para a cidadania no modelo de prática multifocal.
This research tries to understand the representation of intervention practices and contemporary challenges of the Social Work within internal corporate social responsibility. it is an exploratory study, inductive and qualitative, based on a comprehensive paradigm and based on testimonies collected in twenty interviews with social workers, professionally inserted in Portuguese companies with socially responsible social practices. The intervention of Social Work in the internal social responsibility of companies is represented in three levels of action (macro, meso and micro), highlighting the follow-up of individual cases and group work. Uses diverse practice models (focused on the employee, the problems and the company) and performs functions of investigation, planning and administration, developing a set of multifaceted roles, to achieve citizenship education of employees and promotion of organizational democracy. Professionals believe they have a positive operational level of autonomy, without structural limitations. Finally, the great contemporary challenge of Social Work in socially acceptable practices is the incorporation of the social and political role of education for citizenship in the multifocal practice model.

L’obiettivo del lavoro di ricerca è quello di defi nire alcune Linee Guida per la Sostenibilità Sociale del progetto di Social Housing, quale utile strumento operativo alla defi nizione del metaprogetto, nella prospettiva di ridurre il rischio di disagio abitativo della “fascia grigia” e rispondere alle esigenze abitative emerse negli ultimi anni a seguito dei numerosi cambiamenti socio- demografi ci. L’accesso ad un alloggio di buona qualità a prezzi accessibili è un bisogno fondamentale e un fattore chiave per lo sviluppo di un paese. Inoltre, secondo quanto diffuso dal Parlamento Europeo, e gli obiettivi della nuova Agenda Europea 2020, la domanda abitativa è fortemente affi ancata ad una domanda di inclusione sociale. Quindi nel valutare come il progetto di housing sia in grado di sanare le condizioni di disagio emerse, l’attenzione viene posta su quegli aspetti del progetto architettonico in grado di riappropriarsi di valori ed abitudini antiche guardando all’innovazione e alle prospettive future, che possano ritenersi fondanti per la costruzione della dimensione sociale. Vengono pertanto approfonditi tali strumenti (Progettazione Partecipata, Autocostruzione / Autorecupero / Automanutenzione, Cohousing, Mix funzionale e sociale) basandosi sull’osservazione critica della loro applicazione attraverso 20 casi studio e rifl ettendo sui principi che la comunità scientifi ca, con i diversi apporti disciplinari, ha già condiviso, in merito a essi. Ma la prevenzione dalla condizione di esclusione abitativa richiede il sanamento di una serie di condizioni di disagio abitativo (Economico, Fisico, Territoriale, Sociale, Legale). Il contributo affronta quindi per ogni categoria sociale all’interno della Fascia Grigia, i punti di forza ed i punti di debolezza sui quali intervenire attraverso il progetto di housing al fi ne di migliorare o eliminare tali condizioni di disagio. La tesi proposta, lungi dal voler essere esaustiva, parte dal presupposto che non esiste un modello, unitario e globale, di società, pertanto si proporre piuttosto come un metodo di indagine e sintesi del contesto ampliabile anche in un secondo momento e ad opera di altri settori. La lettura di quanto emerso sul disagio abitativo delle categorie della Fascia Grigia, con le opportunità e le minacce che l’applicazione degli strumenti progettuali comporta, consente di defi nire le Linee Guida per la Sostenibilità del Social Housing relativamente all’ambito Sociale.
This research is aimed at defi ning some guidelines for the Social Sustainability of the “Social Housing Project” as a useful operative instrument for supporting the defi nition of the meta-project, in view to reduce the risk of housing diffi culties of the “grey area” and to satisfy the housing needs produced in recent years by several socio-demographic changes. Access to a quality and affordable price accommodation is a fundamental need and a key factor for the development of a State. In addition, as indicated by the European Parliament and according to the objectives of the new European Agenda 2020, the dwelling demand is strongly tied to social inclusion. In assessing how the housing project is able to mend the emerged disadvantage conditions, the research is focused on the features of the architectural design able to regain the ancient values and customs, looking for innovation and future prospects which may be considered central for the construction of the social dimension. Therefore, the deeping of these tools (Participatory Design, Self-building / Self-restoration / self-maintenance, Cohousing, functional and social mix) is developed through the critical observation of their application (within 20 case studies) and by refl ecting on the principles that the international scientifi c community, with its various disciplinary contributions, has already shared about them. To prevent the condition of housing exclusion is necessary to solve a set of housing diffi culties such as Economic, Physical, Urban, Social and Legal troubles. Therefore, for each social category within the “grey area”, the present study examines the strengths and weaknesses to be faced through the housing design in order to improve or eliminate such housing problems. This thesis assumes that there isn’t a global, unifi ed model, therefore it is proposed rather as a method of investigation and synthesis of the context. Furthermore, it is opened to interdisciplinary considerations extended to further fi elds. What emerged about the housing hardship conditions of the “gray area”, combined with the opportunities and threats engender by the use of the described designing tools, allow to defi ne the Guidelines for the Social Housing Sustainability related to Social Pillar.

The model proceeds from the three pillars that have been developed and include social entrepreneurship, business - to - business and regional innovation. Entrepreneurship has multiple definitions which treats such as innovative thinking, targeted and creative individuals. Social enterprise has attracted more widespread interest, while it is considered one potential solution for the development of a sustainable society. Entrepreneurship includes growth and variable economic development as well. This is also called the regional innovation system which is based on the cluster as a sort of strange phenomenon where the weight is in a centralized learning. Learning in this context is based on social interaction and the close connection of both cultural and geographic support of both exchanges, trust and innovation. As for business-to-business it is all about the companies and their use of each other’s resources or the promoting of one each other. This is an effect that results in a strong bond between businesses and therefore creating value for corporate clients. This paper has its basis in qualitative research study where an abductive approach has been used. The empirical data collected was based on seven different companies that are part of a network which is called SNI (Social Network International). In addition to these, three more companies were selected to ultimately be able to perform a better comparison.

Uppsatsen har tagit sin grund i kvalitativ forskningsstudie där en abduktiv ansats har använts. Den empirisk data som samlats in har utgått från sju olika Företag som är med i ett SNI (Social Network Innovation). Utöver dessa har ytterligare tre verksamheten valts ut för att i slutändan kunna utföra en bättre jämförelse.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds. The study indicates that it is important to analyze social enterprises by the help of criteria for companies, social enterprises, the characteristics pertaining to the social entrepreneurs, available space on the market, organization, funding, production, political decisions, approval as a participant and finally choices made by patrons. The study also offers a general checklist with criteria that may be used for analysis and the explanation of social enterprises.
Sociala företag är en av de aktörer som levererar välfärdstjänster finansierade med offentliga medel. Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån ett teoretiskt perspektiv beskriva och analysera vilka förutsättningar, på vilka arenor, med vilken ansvarsfördelning och vilka beslut som ger sociala företag utrymme på den sociala välfärdsarenan. Det studerade sociala företaget erbjuder sociala välfärdstjänster och sysselsättning. I studien har en triangulering av kvalitativa metoder använts: litteraturstudier, återkommande intervjuer och observationer samt granskning av dokument. Resultaten har analyserats utifrån teorier om utrymmet på den sociala välfärdsarenan, social ekonomi samt socialt kapital i form av starka, svaga och överbryggande band. Studien visar att det är av vikt att analysera sociala företag med kriterier för företag, sociala företag, egenskaper hos de sociala företagarna, utrymme, arrangemang, finansiering och produktion samt politiska beslut, godkännande som aktör samt kunderna och brukarnas val. En generell checklista med kriterier som kan användas för analys och förklaring av sociala företag har tagits fram i studien.

The unusual presence of new actor of social action, with corporate origin, in the contemporary public Brazilian scenery, institutes the theme of this thesis. The recent phenomenon of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been presented as the new business ethic, proposing the adjustment among the economic growth and the social and environmental dimensions. The CSR study was developed under the perspective of the Moscovici’s Social Representations Theory (2003) and the Thompson’s Ideology (2002), soughting to comprehend how the social representation in the Brazilian context is organized and which is its function in the actual phase of international capitalism, through the analysis of politics and practices of corporation considered CSR model in Brazil, of their relations with the different actors involved and ideological content underlying to the social responsibility discourse. The research corpus was constructed from specialized bibliography, journals, institutional websites and 86 Social Reports of corporations indicated as CSR models in Brazil for national and international reference entities in the subject. The material analysis was realized under the Depth Hermeneutics Thompson’s methodology (2002), and data was submitted to descriptive and quantitative statistical analysis. Regarding the results obtained, it was possible to identify the appropriation of Social Responsibility proposal by big national and multinational private corporations that, by means of ideological strategies of powerful social representations, construct in the society the image of common good agents.The discourse, spread with efficient campaigns of social marketing, articulates with the entrepreneurial protagonist in socials and environmental causes, creating and fortifying the relationships of dependence and submission, and reasserting the neoliberal capitalism project in its maneuvers of adaption and reproduction.
A presença inusitada dos novos atores da ação social, de origem empresarial, no cenário público brasileiro contemporâneo, constitui-se o tema dessa tese. Fenômeno recente, a autodenominada Responsabilidade Social Empresarial (RSE) tem sido apresentada como a nova ética dos negócios, propondo a harmonização entre o crescimento econômico e as dimensões social e ambiental. O estudo da Responsabilidade Social Empresarial foi desenvolvido sob a perspectiva da teoria das Representações Sociais de Moscovici (2003) e da Ideologia de Thompson (2002), buscando compreender como se estrutura essa representação social no contexto brasileiro e qual a sua função na fase atual do capitalismo internacional, através da análise das políticas e práticas de empresas consideradas modelo em RSE no Brasil, das suas relações com os diferentes atores envolvidos e do conteúdo ideológico subjacente ao discurso de responsabilidade social. O corpus da pesquisa foi construído a partir de pesquisa à bibliografia sobre o assunto, revistas especializadas, websites de instituições ligadas a esse movimento e 86 Relatórios Sociais de empresas indicadas como modelo em Responsabilidade Social no Brasil por entidades consideradas referência nacional e internacional no tema.A análise do material coletado foi realizada através da metodologia da Hermenêutica de Profundidade de Thompson (2002), e, de forma complementar, da análise quantitativa, com o uso de estatística descritiva. Com base nos resultados foi possível identificar a apropriação da proposta da Responsabilidade Social por grandes empresas privadas nacionais e multinacionais, que por meio das estratégias ideológicas de poderosas representações sociais, constroem junto à sociedade a imagem de agentes do bem comum. O discurso, disseminado através de eficientes campanhas de marketing social, se articula com o protagonismo empresarial em causas sociais e ambientais, criando e reforçando relações de dependência e submissão e reafirmando, dessa forma, o projeto do capitalismo neoliberal em suas contínuas manobras de adaptação e reprodução.

Cette recherche de type qualitative se veut une exploration du discours des intervenants en travail social autour du concept: le social . L'analyse du discours des travailleurs sociaux, face au social fait suite au présumé courant"d'individualisation" qui s'accentue à l'intérieur de notre société. Il semble que ce courant d'individualisation se transpose au sein de la profession du travail social. Il s'agirait d'une tendance où les interventions sont concentrées sur l'individu en difficulté et où l'on accorde peu d'attention ou d'importance aux aspects sociaux des problèmes. Ce type d'intervention soulève certaines préoccupations pour une profession comme le travail social, où l'on a toujours voulu préserver le vocable"social" dans ses définitions et fonctions. Si le social agit comme fondement aux yeux des travailleurs sociaux au sein de leur profession, comment se manifeste-t-il à l'intérieur de leurs pratiques? La première partie de cette recherche pose un regard historique sur les différentes pratiques en travail social selon les époques au sein de la société québécoise. Nous obtenons par cette démarche une rétrospective et un bon aperçu de l'évolution du social . Dans un deuxième temps, notre recherche terrain permet d'avoir accès au discours des travailleurs sociaux qui pratiquent toujours et de cerner les aspects et la place qu'occupe le social chez ces professionnels d'aujourd'hui. Ainsi, non seulement nous obtenons un portrait du social d'aujourd'hui mais aussi nous sommes en mesure de situer ce concept sur un continuum espace/temps. Par la suite une analyse plus détaillée de ce social d'aujourd'hui est possible grâce à un cadre théorique élaboré sur trois axes ayant chacun deux pôles en tensions. Le premier axe est composé des pôles ontologique et stratégique, le second des pôles insertion et intégration tandis que le troisième axe comporte les pôles adaptation et changement . Globalement, il en ressort que le social demeure encore significatif pour les travailleurs sociaux. Cependant, ils ont l'impression d'intervenir que sur une portion du social en se concentrant sur un processus de réinsertion et d'adaptation, au détriment d'une démarche menant à des changements sociaux en profondeur. Il en résulte une forme de regret et de la déception, qui selon eux, n'ont plus la chance de"faire vraiment du social", avec le sentiment de s'éloigner de plus en plus d'un des fondements de leur profession.

No final do século passado, o fenómeno designado empreendedorismo social começou a ganhar importância no mundo académico e no mundo empresarial. Apesar de ser um tema que está na ?moda?, a literatura existente contempla algumas lacunas. Com este estudo pretende-se compreender quais os fatores mais importantes para a sustentabilidade financeira e social das empresas sociais, ou seja, como é que conseguem gerir a dualidade de criar impacto social e financeiro. Após uma comparação entre a literatura e os resultados obtidos no estudo de quatro casos reais portugueses, foi possível elaborar cinco proposições: (1) as empresas sociais têm dificuldade em obter investimento na fase de arranque, o que implica que o investimento será na sua maioria feito pelo empreendedor social ou pela sua base pessoal de relações; (2) as empresas sociais devem procurar equilíbrio entre o objetivo social e o financeiro. Sendo que o objetivo social só é possível ser atingido quando a empresa tem objetivos financeiros; (3) tal como acontece em empresas tradicionais, a inovação é um fator de diferenciação e de sucesso nas empresas sociais; (4) o empreendedor social com algum tipo de experiência passada em empreendedorismo, é mais recetivo à necessidade financeira da empresa; (5) os fatores mais importantes para o sucesso das empresas sociais são: aceitação do conceito por parte do público, clientes conscientes da atividade da organização, perfil empreendedor do fundador, práticas de planeamento, investimento em inovação, membros da organização motivados, troca de conhecimentos entre os membros da organização e socialização entre os membros da organização.
Social entrepreneurship has become one of the mainstream discussions of this century. In fact, it grew a lot amongst academics, nowadays one can find plenty of documents scrutinizing this phenomenon as well as specialized courses on academic institutions. Due to be a recent theme its literature still presents some gaps, one of which is the social and financial balance. Hence the goal of this thesis is to explore and understand what?s important to reach social and financial sustainability within an institution. After analysing the research results of four well established portuguese social enterprises and compare them against the literature it was possible to formulate five prepositions: (1) social enterprises struggle to obtain investment at an early age, which means that the majority of it comes from the entrepreneur itself or from his personal relationships; (2) social enterprises must find balance between the social goal and the financial one, thus the social goal can only be achieved when the organization has financial goals; (3) innovation is a key factor on both traditional enterprises and social enterprises; (4) when the social entrepreneur has a background on entrepreneurship it tends to be keened to the financial necessity of the organisation; (5) the key factors for a successful social enterprise are: openness from the targeted consumers, consumers being well aware of the activity of the organization, the founder having an entrepreneur profile, planning practices, investment on innovation, motivated workers inside the institution, knowledge sharing between co-workers and a good coworking environment in the institution.

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar como os sujeitos (conselheiros) percebem o processo de participação social no contexto do COMDEMA/Florianópolis, por meio das interpretação de representações sociais. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, descritivo e interpretativo. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação não-participante e análise documental. A análise de dados permitiu descrever as representações sociais de conselheiros em relação aos resíduos sólidos e à maneira como estes percebem a participação social no conselho gestor. Percebeu-se que os conselheiros, no nível individual, estão engajados com a temática ambiental sob o ponto de vista das racionalidades substantiva e ambiental. Porém, no âmbito do conselho, os conselheiros estão submetidos a valores de ordem instrumentalista, sendo que o conselho está sendo influenciado por lógicas político-burocráticas que têm origem em demandas do poder Executivo. Essa situação leva a um caráter punitivo-corretivo das práticas do conselho e a sua não articulação plena com a sociedade civil. No entanto, os conselheiros sentem a necessidade de mudanças dentro do COMDEMA que possibilitem uma atuação mais preventiva e voltada para o meio ambiente. Observamos que há tensão entre valores substantivos e instrumentalistas, mas a mesma ainda não gera condições para que se rompa a atual lógica dominante no conselho. Por fim, concluímos que o COMDEMA de Florianópolis é formado por conselheiros que têm potencial para fazer com que o mesmo cumpra com seu papel, mas imperativos externos ao conselho têm dificultado o seu amadurecimento rumo a pautas em que a proteção ao meio ambiente seja o tema central nas práticas de gestão.

Abstract : This research aimed to analyse how councillors of the Municipal Council for Defence of the Environment of Florianópolis (COMDEMA/ Florianópolis) realize the process of social participation within such management council based on the interpretation of social representations involved in this process. It is a qualitative, descriptive and interpretative study. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation and document analysis. Data analysis allowed describing the social representations of the councillors in relation to solid waste and how they perceive their social participation in the management council. It was felt that the councillors at the individual level, are engaged with environmental issues from the point of view of environmental rationality. However, under the advice council, they are undergoing in instrumentalist order values, and the council is being influenced by political-bureaucratic logics that stems from demands of the executive branch. This situation leads to a punitive-corrective nature of the board's practices and its lack of full cooperation with civil society. However, the councillors feel the need for changes within the COMDEMA enabling a more preventive and targeted action for the environment. We observe that there is tension between substantives and instrumentalists values, but it does not yet generate conditions to break the current dominant logic on the board. Finally, we conclude that the COMDEMA Florianopolis consists of councillors who has the potential to make it fulfil its role, but external imperative the council has hampered its ripening towards guidelines on the protection of the environment as the theme central in their management practices.

Over the last few years there has been a growing interest in social responsibility, both as concept and practice, as social problems emerge and as expectations increase as to contribute that the organizations can make as qualified. From this perspective, the business sector has been facing pressures originating from consumer defense movements, campaigns to combat extreme poverty and famine, as well as others that appear as a result of the exacerbation of issues related to minorities excluded from social life. In an attempt to respond to such demands, companies are incorporating a social commitment to their business objectives as market differentiation and highly relevant social benefits for the improvement of situations which it is applied. This study focus on the issue of social responsibility in business and the alternative of franchising methodology, or social franchising, for social actions for companies of Ceará state. The approach of the investigation is predominantly qualitative and starts out from a bibliographic review of the topics at issue seeking to comprehend their interactions and incorporations into business practices, with a view to applying using the social franchising. In the universe of 32 companies that have to participate in the contest 'Premio Delmiro Gouveia' of the best companies of Ceará state. The sample corresponds to 22 of these organizations where the informations were available. The found results show that's the methodology of the social franchising has a positive view of the business people and new studies about the subject will be led to ,make the theoretical reference more wide-raging that is now available.
o interesse pela responsabilidade social nos últimos anos, quer como conceito ou prática, vem crescendo à medida que os problemas sociais eclodem e aumentam as expectativas de contribuição das organizações como uma parceria qualificada. Nesse contexto, o segmento empresarial vem se deparando com pressões advindas de movimentos de defesa do consumidor, campanhas de combate à miséria e a fome, além de outros que surgem com o recrudescimento de temas de minorias excluídas da vida social. Diante deste quadro as empresas estão incorporando a responsabilidade social aos objetivos de seus negócios como um fator de diferenciação no mercado e para promover benefícios sociais de grande relevância. Este estudo enfoca a responsabilidade social empresarial e a alternativa de utilização de metodologia semelhante a das franquias comerciais, as franquias sociais, para a prática das ações sociais nas empresas cearenses. A abordagem da investigação é predominantemente qualitativa e parte de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática em foco, procurando compreender suas interações e incorporações nas práticas empresariais. A pesquisa considerou o universo de 32 empresas que concorreram ao 'Premio Delmiro Gouvêa' , edição 2003, das maiores e melhores empresas do Estado do Ceará. A amostra corresponde a 22 dessas organizações onde as informações foram disponibilizadas. Os resultados encontrados produzem evidências que a metodologia das Franquias Sociais tem uma percepção positiva por parte do empresariado e novos estudos, sobre a temática, devem ser conduzidos com o intuito da construção de um referencial teórico mais abrangente que o ora disponível.

The primary task of this thesis is to explain what the relationship between social practice and the socially emergent self is, and to concurrently explain why this relationship is of significance to an accurate theory of social practice itself. A subsequent aim of this is to explain how the socially emergent self can be used to account for individual engagement in moral practices. Building on George Herbert Mead, it is argued that the social process through which the self emerges moulds the individual’s capacity to engage with social practice. It is argued that combining Mead’s theory of the socially emergent self with relational sociology provides a theoretical framework that can account for how intersubjective and historically situated social practices are taken on by the individual, to the extent that she can engage in such practices both reflectively and pre-reflectively. What is more, this theoretical synthesis is able to account for how social practices are engaged with in an incredibly routine and ‘ordinary’ manner, while also accounting for individual variation in this engagement. This theory is then applied to moral practices. It is contended that individual engagement in moral practice is not altogether different from engagement in social practice generally, and thus the theory offered here also accounts for how individuals are able to engage in moral practice in both a routine and an individualised manner.

Människors medvetenhet kring frågor om socialt ansvarstagande har under åren ökat. Begreppet Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) har blivit en ”trend” hos företag som aktivt börjat arbeta med frågor gällande miljö, ekonomi, etik och socialt ansvar.  Men alla företag är inte överrens om vad det ska ta ansvar för utöver det lagstiftade. Jacquie L’Etang har en kritisk syn till CSR då hon menar att många företag använder det i ett PR- och marknadsföringssyfte för att öka företagets lönsamhet. Grafström,  Göthberg och Windell, (2008) tycker det är viktigt att varje företag hittar den rätta definitionen av begreppet som passar just det företaget, och att CSR är ett frivilligt engagemang för att skapa ett bättre samhälle samt en bättre miljö för företagets anställda. Vi har valt forskningsmetoden fallstudie till vår uppsats. Vi har undersökt hur Indiska arbetar och tillämpar sitt CSR-arbete i praktiken, samt hur Indiskas konsumenter upplever företagets arbete. Till vår uppsats har både en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ metod tillämpats. Med hjälp av den kvalitativa metoden fick vi företagets synvinkel på CSR och hur de arbetar kring begreppet. För att komma fram till ett resultat inom den kvalitativa metoden genomfördes intervjuer med personer involverade i företaget. Vid intervjun fick vi en inblick i hur Indiska kommunicerar sitt CSR-arbete och hur företaget arbetar för att ständigt utveckla och förbättra sin verksamhet. Stort fokus har lagts vid enkätundersökningen där 50 respondenter deltagit. I enkäten undersöktes hur medvetna konsumenter är om Indiskas CSR-arbete och vilken inställning konsumenter har till socialt ansvarstagande i allmänhet. Undersökningen visade att konsumenter inte är medvetna om Indiskas CSR-arbete och det kan finnas många orsaker till detta. Det kan dels bero på att Indiskas konsumenter inte har någon kunskap inom ämnet eller att de inte aktivt söker information men det kan även handla om att Indiskas kommunikation inte når fram till konsumenter.

Il tema della valutazione emerge periodicamente nella discussione politica italiana. L’azione del valutare, che rappresenta ormai un’operazione ricorrente nella vita quotidiana, diviene una pratica consolidata anche in seno alle istituzioni pubbliche, indispensabile per costruire un giudizio sul funzionamento delle politiche stesse. La pratica valutativa si rivela, però, difficile da applicare in contesti complessi e dinamici come quelli che caratterizzano gli interventi nel sociale, dove la complessità attiene alla eterogeneità e pluralità di attori coinvolti e alla multiproblematicità dei bisogni territoriali. Quando la riuscita di una politica di intervento dipende non solo dalle capacità di coordinamento dall’alto, cioè di chi programma gli interventi sociali e offre i servizi per rispondere ai bisogni di una comunità, ma anche dalla volontà e dalla partecipazione dal basso, cioè di chi fruisce degli interventi, risulta chiaro quanto un processo di valutazione diventi complesso. In tali situazioni, le tecniche della Social Network Analysis (di seguito analisi delle reti sociali) risultano particolarmente adatte a rilevare, studiare ed interpretare le interazioni di tutti gli attori coinvolti in uno o più interventi di politica sociale. Tali tecniche di analisi vengono utilizzate sempre più spesso nella ricerca valutativa, in quanto si presuppone che ci possa essere una relazione fra le caratteristiche della rete, costituita dagli attori sociali coinvolti nell’attuazione di un programma, e l’efficacia del programma stesso. L'Unione Europea a partire dal Consiglio europeo di Lisbona (2000) ha posto come obiettivi della sua politica di "diventare l'economia basata sulla conoscenza più competitiva e dinamica del mondo, in grado di realizzare una crescita economica sostenibile con nuovi e migliori posti di lavoro e una maggiore coesione sociale […] al fine di sostenere l'occupazione, le riforme economiche". La ricerca che qui viene presentata è il risultato del progetto europeo ShareIT che ha avuto come finalità la promozione, attraverso una cooperazione interregionale tra i diversi Stati partecipanti, degli obiettivi generali posti nelle linee politiche europee. Sono riportati i risultati e le analisi critiche della ricerca relative al progetto realizzato in particolare nel Comune di Venezia. Le ICT e i social network sono sempre più diffusi in ogni aspetto della vita quotidiana ed è per questo che possono rivelarsi uno strumento efficace e positivo per promuovere l'inclusione sociale delle fasce marginali della popolazione come ad esempio anziani, migranti, donne, disabili. Data l'importanza di queste nuove forme di comunicazione il progetto va ad indagare se la e-inclusion di un determinato gruppo vulnerabile, nel nostro caso quello degli adolescenti migranti neoarrivati e di seconda generazione, sia una via percorribile per produrre una reale inclusione sociale.

O presente trabalho científico possui por escopo estudar a imunidade tributária às contribuições sociais destinadas à seguridade social das entidades beneficentes de assistência social mencionada no artigo 195, §7º, da Constituição Federal de 1988, bem como a abrangência dessa hipótese imunitória aplicável a essas espécies de entidades sem fins lucrativos. A imunidade tributária é uma norma de estrutura contida na Constituição Federal de 1988 que impede que União, Estados, Distrito Federal e Municípios tributem certas pessoas, fatos ou bens. Em outras palavras, as imunidades tributárias são normas constitucionais de incompetência tributária. A Constituição Federal de 1988 elenca inúmeras espécies de imunidades tributárias, dentre as quais a imunidade às contribuições sociais destinadas à seguridade social das entidades beneficentes de assistência social. Sempre que determinada pessoa jurídica enquadrar-se no conceito de entidade beneficente de assistência social e observar as exigências contidas na lei será ela imune. De acordo com a Carta Magna de 1988, consideram-se entidades beneficentes de assistência social as pessoas jurídicas que promovem as ações descritas em seu artigo 203. Neste trabalho científico, analisaremos se farão jus à imunidade tributária às contribuições sociais destinadas à seguridade social somente as entidades que possuem por objetivo as ações descritas no artigo 203 ou se o conceito de entidade beneficente de assistência social é mais abrangente. Afora enquadrar-se no conceito de entidade beneficente de assistência social, a instituição, para fins de fruição da imunidade às contribuições sociais destinadas à seguridade social, deve preencher alguns requisitos dispostos em lei. Mas que lei vem a ser esta: ordinária ou complementar? Consoante será demonstrado ao longo deste trabalho científico, tal lei só pode ser a complementar, haja vista esse ser o único instrumento normativo apto a estabelecer os requisitos a serem preenchidos visando ao gozo da imunidade às contribuições sociais destinadas à seguridade social, não obstante esse não ser o entendimento atual de grande parte dos integrantes do Poder Judiciário Brasileiro.
This Masters Thesis aims at studying the tax immunity on social insurance contributions for the social security of those charitable organization for social assistance mentioned in section 195, §7 of the 1988 Federal Constitution, as well as the extent to which this hypothesis of immunity may be applicable to these types of non-profit making entities. Tax immunity is a structural regulation included in the 1988 Federal Constitution that prevents the Union, States, Federal District and Municipalities from taxing certain persons, events or assets. In other words, the tax immunities are constitutional norms establishing the non-applicability of taxes. The 1988 Federal Constitution lists a number of types of tax immunities, amongst which is the immunity to social insurance contributions for the social security of charitable organizations for social assistance. A company shall be declared immune whenever it is understood to fit into the concept of a charitable organization for social assistance and whenever it meets the requirements established by law. According to the 1988 Federal Constitution, charitable organizations for social assistance are considered to be those companies that perform the activities described in its article 203. In this Masters Thesis, we will be analyzing whether it is fair for the tax immunity on social insurance contributions for social security to be applicable only to those organizations with the objectives described in section 203, or if the concept of a charitable organization for social assistance is more wide reaching. Besides fitting into the concept of a charitable organization for social assistance, the organization, in order to take advantage of the immunity from social insurance contributions for social security, must meet all the requirements established by law. But which law should this be: an ordinary law or a complimentary law? Accordingly, it is to be demonstrated over the course of this Masters Thesis that a complimentary law can be the only one applicable, since this is the only regulatory instrument able to establish the requirements that need to be met to take advantage of the immunity to social insurance contributions for social security, despite this not being the current understanding of the majority of those forming the Brazilian Judiciary.

Este estudo é produto de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada com o objetivo de analisar a aproximação das seguranças sociais com os serviços e benefícios ofertados nos CRAS dos municípios de gestão básica da região de Presidente Prudente. O embasamento teórico que sustenta esta pesquisa teve como ponto de partida as considerações conceituais referentes à proteção social pública, com destaque à proteção de assistência social, o que exigiu uma breve contextualização histórica da Política de Assistência Social, tendo como marco inicial a década de 1930 e estendendo-se até o seu reconhecimento como política protetiva de responsabilidade pública, expresso na Constituição Federal de 1988. Em seguida, foram elencados os principais obstáculos estabelecidos pela perspectiva neoliberal brasileira, na década de 1990, para a organização e efetivação dessa Política sob os ditames o novo texto legal, que dificultaram e atrasaram a aprovação da Lei Orgânica de Assistência Social. Com a instituição do Sistema Único de Assistência Social - SUAS, em 2004, a Assistência Social ganha nova configuração, em que tem definidas suas funções, com destaque à de proteção social pública, dividida em dois níveis de complexidade – básica e especial – e em que se dispõe sobre a instalação de duas unidades de serviço público, o CRAS e o CREAS, responsáveis por operacionalizar, referenciar e coordenar a gestão das proteções. A unidade sobre a qual esta pesquisa se debruçou para a coleta de dados, foi o CRAS, por seu papel inovador na proposição de uma rede de serviços socioassistenciais, em que se incluem os benefícios de transferência de renda, considerados meios primordiais para garantir as seguranças sociais. As informações foram obtidas por intermédio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas com nove profissionais que atuam nos CRAS da região, cuja escolha teve como critério o envolvimento com a gestão e a execução das ações. A análise dos dados coletados aponta insuficiência de compreensão sobre as seguranças sociais, bem como sobre os serviços e benefícios, o que dificulta a aproximação de sua garantia com o trabalho lá desenvolvido.
By means of a qualitative research, this study aims to analyze whether services and benefits held in CRAS of cities with basic management in Presidente Prudente region are in accordance with social security. Concepts referring to public social protection, especially social assistance protection, were used as theoretical basis. This demanded a brief historical contextualization of Social Assistance Policies, starting in 1930, until its recognition as a protective policy of public responsibility with the Federal Constitution of 1988. Due to Brazilian government neo-liberalist tendency in the 1990‟s, the policy organization and effectiveness, as it was required by the new Constitution, faced many obstacles which postponed the Social Assistance Organic Law being passed. After the Assistance Social System was created in 2004, Social Assistance has undergone a new configuration in which its functions have been defined, especially the ones referring to public social protection, divided into two levels of complexity – basic and special. The System has also deliberated about the constitution of two service unities, CRAS and CREAS, in which protections management must be operated, referenced and coordinated. This research focused on the CRAS because of its innovative role in proposing a social assistance service web that involves income transference benefits, seen as essential means to guarantee social securities. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data, and the criteria to select the nine interviewed professionals of the region CRAS were their roles in social assistance management and actions. Data analyzes has shown a lack of understanding concerning social securities as well as services and benefits, whose guarantee is not always in accordance with the work developed by the professionals.

The purpose of this study was to examine the social relationship and social support at the daily work. Furthermore, this study aimed to create an understanding of the importance of social relations and support between employees and supervisors within an organization. For this purpose, 10 interviews were conducted with employees and supervisors from one municipality and two authorities. The study showed that strong working relationship and social support within a workplace and between supervisors and employees can create the prerequisite for a higher efficiency and better health among employees. Furthermore, the study showed that a good relationship and support between supervisors and employees can increase the motivation and feeling of a strong entity among employees. The result of the study also indicated the importance of a strong structure build buy a good dialogue and support between supervisors and employees within an organization.
Syftet med denna studie var att studera sociala relationerna och stödet i det dagliga arbetet. Vidare syftade studien till att skapa förståelse för vikten av sociala relationer och stöd mellan medarbetare och chefer inom en organisation. Studien utgick från en kvalitativ metod för att samla in data genom tio intervjuer med anställda och chefer inom en kommun och två statliga myndigheter. Studiens resultat visade att det finns en stark koppling mellan sociala relationer och stöd samt bättre hälsa och effektivitet inom en organisation. Vidare visade studien ett bra förhållande mellan chefer och medarbetare frambringar motivation och gemenskapskänsla. Studien indikerar vikten av en ledning som ständigt överväger att skapa en stark struktur med arbetsdialog och stöd mellan chefer och medarbetare.

This project concerns the ways in which social computing functions as a rational steering medium in network societies. Exploring cases that include the structured data protocols of an ascendant "Web 3.0", Google PageRank and collaborative filtering services, the work unearths some key intellectual commitments at work in the technologies. Each software structure constructs a kind of social rationality, by combining the lived experience of users with its rationalizing computational processes. The cases have been chosen as among those digital tools increasingly relied upon to coordinate action in everyday life: organizing people and knowledge in diverse ways, recalibrating the operations of large bureaucracies and institutions, serving as new feedback mechanisms for the network economy, and functioning as novel formats for everyday communication between friends, family and citizenry. To help compare the cases, the project outlines several philosophical forms of rationality. Doing so helps in turn to highlight three aspects of social computing: how certain conditions of epistemic validity and successful action are being encoded into software algorithms and protocols; how each case rationally models the achievement of consensus, via some configuration of the semantics and pragmatics of language, and finally, how each case enrolls distributed social participation to potentiate the conditions of its operation.
Ce projet concerne la manière dont l'informatique sociale fonctionne comme un moyen de direction rationnelle dans la société en réseau. Avec les cas qui comprennent les protocoles du Web sémantique, Google PageRank et les services de filtrage par collaboration, l'oeuvre déterre certains engagements clés intellectuelle dans les technologies, qui indiquent comment chacun des technologies construit le rationalité sociale à travers son processus de calcul. Les cas ont été choisis parmi ceux des outils numériques de plus en plus invoquée pour coordonner l'action dans la vie quotidienne: pour l'organisation de gens, le savoir et les institutions de diverses manières, pour le fonctionnement de grandes bureaucraties et les institutions, pour les mécanismes de rétroaction dans l'économie en réseau, et comme formats nouveaux pour la communication sociale quotidienne entre amis, famille et collègues. Pour comparer les cas, le projet de recherche décrit plusieurs formes de la rationalité philosophique: instrumental de l'objet visé, économique, communicative et socio-techniques. Cela permet de souligner à son tour trois aspects de l'informatique sociale: comment les conditions de validité épistémique et de 'action réussie' sont encodés dans des algorithmes logiciels et les protocoles ; la façon dont chacun des modèles de cas technologie rationnelle parvenus à un consensus par une certaine configuration de la sémantique et pragmatique du langage ; et comment des interactions sociaux sont inscrit de façon distribuée, pour potentialiser les conditions de leurs fonctionnement.

Chapter 1 introduces the thesis providing an overview of the common themes and methods underlying this research. Chapter 2 reports an experiment that examines the characteristics of effective leaders in a leader-follower voluntary contributions game. We focus on two factors: leaders’ cooperativeness and their beliefs about followers’cooperativeness. We find that groups perform best when led by cooperatively inclined leaders, partly because they are intrinsically motivated to contribute more than non-cooperative leaders, partly because they are more optimistic about followers’ cooperativeness. Chapter 3 reports an experiment comparing sequential and simultaneous contributions to a public good in a quasi-linear two-person setting. As predicted, we find that overall provision may be lower under sequential than simultaneous contributions. However, we also find that the distribution of contributions is more equitable than predicted when the first-mover is predicted to free-ride, but not when the second-mover is predicted to free-ride. These results can be explained by second-movers’ willingness to punish free-riders, and unwillingness to reward first-movers who contribute. Chapter 4 investigates the impact of social comparisons on reciprocal relationships. Using a three-person gift- exchange game we study how employees’ reciprocity towards an employer is affected by pay comparison information (information about what co-workers earn) and effort comparison information (information about how co-workers perform). We find that pay comparison information does not affect reciprocity, while effort comparison information can influence reciprocal relationships in important ways. Chapter 5 also examines the impact of pay comparisons on effort behaviour. We compare effort in a treatment where co-workers’ wages are secret with effort in two ‘public wages’ treatments differing in whether co-workers’ wages are chosen by an employer, or are fixed exogenously by the experimenter. We find that pay comparisons are detrimental for effort, particularly when coworkers’ wages are exogenous. Chapter 6 summarises the findings of this research and concludes.

An exploration of the relationship between patterns of social interaction and social work practice which incorporates thirteen publications. The thread running throughout is the way in which new forms of social care practice are made possible by cross-boundary linkages. A 'Critical Review' sets the context and analyses the works. This is followed by the first published work which applies anthropological models to the study of social marginalisation. The second publication introduces the social network concept and investigates patterns of reciprocity and dependency in social care. The next section of the thesis consists of a 'commentary' on the Griffiths and Wagner Reports. This is followed by a closely related work arguing that there is a fundamental opposition between market and network models of social and community care. The thesis then looks at the ways the culture concept can be used to illuminate the cross-boundary practices associated with community care. The concept of culture and its relationship to cross-boundary working is developed more fully in the next section where it is argued that collaboration culture is paradoxical because it incorporates both respect for difference and a commitment to collective action and that resolving this paradox through collaborative work is a complex and skilled activity. The next section introduces a comparative dimension and suggests that studies of collaboration could be based on looking at the ways in which modern welfare systems try to solve the problem of potential fragmentation and lack of coherence. The work which follows on from this makes use of discourse analysis and network analysis to compare and contrast the rhetoric of partnership and collaboration with the way in which individuals think about their day-to-day cross-boundary work. This raises questions about the changing nature of working relationships in the field of social care and is followed by an investigation into the nature and effects of globalisation on social work in Europe. 'The Co-operation Concept in a Team of Swedish Social Workers' is an attempt to develop a cross-national framework for the analysis of community care focused on the cross-boundary networks of a team of hospital based social workers in Stockholm. The thesis then returns to somewhat broader concerns by means of a work which investigates the contribution of theories of social interaction to theories of social work. These concerns permeate the penultimate section on networking but in a more applied and specific way. The book which constitutes this section of the thesis argues that there is a distinctive theory of networking and that it can be applied to the whole range of social welfare and social care specialisms. The final work explores the impact of globalisation on the ways in which social workers currently experience their roles and develop their sense of professional identity.

The purchasing process has in many ways been affected by the digitalization. As the digital commerce is growing in market shares the physical stores are struggling. The mobile phone has become a central point of purchasing as digital technologies has become an important factor in creating customer value. In addition, social platforms have made an entrance in e-commerce, creating social commerce. First by being a platform for information and inspiration. But with recent launches the social platforms are releasing functions to in a wider sense boost selling activities and creating application design for a more seamless shopping experience. At the same time Influencer marketing is a rapidly growing industry that businesses invest more in every year.  The purpose of this thesis is to create a better understanding for social commerce as business model and how the functionality supports and limits the interaction between commercial actors and the private users in activities of the purchasing process. The question was investigated based on the perspective of the relationship between commercial actors and their followers. Where design is studied based on factors of functionality, usability and sociability in relation to purchases- and sales activities. The study will also focus on how the framework is set for the activity and interaction that takes place on the social platform in social commerce.To answer the research question, a netnography was performed and though observations of businesses and influencers Instagram accounts, to conduct a mainly qualitative data acquisition. Where the purpose is to observe the behavior and activities that occurs on the platform and set them i relation to the technical aspects of the platform.The results of this thesis show that the commercial actors; businesses and influencers have different strategies supporting their commercial interests on the social platform: The Seamless strategy (businesses) and the Social strategy (influencers). Both supported by the platforms functionalities, the businesses, business model tend to be more vulnerable to the potential changed conditions that the platform's framework entails.

Social attention refers to the ability, which generally characterizes human beings as well as other animal species, to orient attentional resources in response to spatial cues provided by other individuals. These spatial cues are typically represented by gaze direction, head direction, and body orientation. This thesis focused mainly on the role that some social variables play in modulating this ability. In Chapter 1, the concept of social attention and its relevance in regulating social interactions are discussed. After that, in Chapter 2, I present four studies in which I have employed the gaze-cueing paradigm. This allows to investigate the role of gaze direction in modulating social attention. In these four studies, the social variables manipulated have been social status (Study 1) and political affiliation (Study 2). Moreover, I have also investigated the impact of implicit social learning on gaze cueing (Study 3). The final study (Study 4), investigated social attention in schizophrenic patients, who are known to be particularly impaired in dealing with social stimuli. In Chapter 3, I present a particular aspect of social attention known as social inhibition of return, a phenomenon whereby an individual is slower to reach a location previously explorer by another individual. Here, I have manipulated the social similarity between participants (Study 5). Finally, in Chapter 4, I present some evidence supporting the view that gaze direction, in combination with racial group membership, represents a crucial variable not only for attentional mechanisms but even for the encoding and maintenance of face’s visual representations in visual working memory (Study 6). To conclude, in Chapter 5, a general discussion highlights the importance of considering social variables in the study of social attention, inviting to embrace a more ecological research approach in order to investigate this phenomenon during real social interactions and in real world settings.
Con attenzione sociale si intende l’abilità, che generalmente caratterizza gli esseri umani così come altre specie animali, di orientare le proprie risorse attentive in risposta agli indizi spaziali che provengono dagli altri individui. Questi indizi spaziali sono rappresentati, tipicamente, dalla direzione dello sguardo, della testa e dall’orientamento del corpo. La presenti tesi si è focalizzata, principalmente, sul ruolo giocato da alcune variabili di tipo sociale nel modulare tale abilità. Nel Capitolo 1 è discusso il concetto di attenzione sociale e la sua importanza nella regolazione delle interazioni sociali. Nel Capitolo 2 presento quattro studi nei quali ho utilizzato il paradigma di orientamento attentivo mediato dallo sguardo. Questo paradigma consente di valutare il ruolo della direzione dello sguardo nel modulare l’attenzione sociale. In questi quattro studi, le variabili sociali da me manipolate sono state lo status sociale (Studio 1) e l’affiliazione politica (Studio 2). Inoltre, ho approfondito il ruolo dell’apprendimento implicito di variabili sociali sull’orientamento attentivo mediato dallo sguardo (Studio 3). Lo studio finale (Studio 4), ha indagato l’attenzione sociale in pazienti schizofrenici, nei quali l’abilità di elaborare stimoli sociali risulta generalmente compromessa. Nel Capitolo 3, presento un particolare aspetto legato all’attenzione sociale noto come inibizione di ritorno sociale, un fenomeno per il quale gli individui risultano più lenti nel compiere un movimento verso una posizione spaziale precedentemente raggiunta da un altro individuo. In questo caso, ho manipolato la somiglianza percepita tra i partecipanti (Studio 5). In fine, nel Capitolo 4 presento alcune evidenze che sottolineano come la direzione dello sguardo, in combinazione con l’appartenenza etnica, sia una variabile cruciale implicata non solo nei processi attentivi ma addirittura nei processi di codifica e mantenimento dell’identità di un volto nella memoria visiva a breve termine (Studio 6). Per concludere, nel Capitolo 5, una discussione generale sottolinea l’importanza di considerare le variabili sociali nello studio dell’attenzione sociale e invita l’idea di considerare l’utilizzo paradigmi sperimentali sempre più ecologici, in modo tale da permettere di studiare il fenomeno dell’attenzione sociale durante vere interazioni tra individui che avvengono in contesti sociali reali.

Abstract (sommario):
Today more and more companies are looking out to adopt a new generation intranet, a social intranet where all employees can engage to express themselves and share information. There are large expectations on these new services, which have the opportunity to create high business value if used actively and qualitatively. However, there is a large challenge in knowing how to best implement these services in an organization in order to achieve this. This paper has investigated how an implementation should be made by defining obstacles for the implementation and adoption, discussing how they could be overcome, investigating what incentives could be used to foster usage and finding common success factors for an implementation. By a qualitative research method, consisting of five case studies and two focus area interviews we found a number of steps that must be followed for an implementation to be successful. First the conditions of the organization must be investigated in order to see whether or not social tools are suitable. If deciding to implement social tools the project must then at an early stage be defined in the organization, when it comes to desired achievements, responsibilities, governance, financing and transfer pricing. Thereafter the suitable platform and tools should be chosen by defining the organization’s user groups, studying their needs and translating them into features, deciding whether to replace or complete the existing intranet and choosing a platform based on recognition and application handiness. The next step is to prepare the tools for launch by creating structures, integrating with existing systems and forming guidelines for usage. The launch should then be made by combining a bottom-up with a top-down approach. It should include choosing a pilot for focused efforts and general marketing. Managers and leaders should be instructed separately before instructing each user group. To help the launch suitable ambassadors should be used. The sixth step is to stimulate activity by the use of stars and medals and by emphasizing good material and achievements. Finally, the last step is to follow up the implementation by measuring the outcome and interviewing employees.
