Les processus hydrologiques variant dans l'espace et dans le temps en fonction de la variabilité spatio-temporelle des entrées météorologiques et de l'occupation du sol ainsi que de la variabilité spatiale de la topographie et de la nature du terrain, un modèle conçu pour bénéficier des données provenant de la télédétection et des SIG a été développé. Les principaux objectifs poursuivis étaient: l'application au plus grand nombre de bassins possible, une sélection d'algorithmes permettant de tenir compte des données disponibles, un minimum d'étalonnage, la facilité de transfert d'un bassin à l'autre, la programmation des algorithmes sur micro-ordinateur avec une interface très conviviale. La structure d'écoulement à l'intérieur d'un bassin versant est obtenue de manière informatisée à partir d'une discrétisation des altitudes rencontrées dans la zone d'intérêt, en mailles carrées de dimensions données, d'où l'on tire les pentes et les orientations de chaque maille, puis le bassin versant en amont de la maille identifiée comme exutoire, le réseau hydrographique, les sous-bassins versants et, finalement, les unités hydrologiques relativement homogènes (UHRH), définies sur la base de ces sous-bassins, en les regroupant ou les divisant au besoin. Un logiciel spécifique pour ce faire a été développé: PHYSITEL. Selon la conception très modulaire adoptée pour HYDROTEL, chaque sous-modèle offre généralement plus d'une option de simulation, afin de tenir compte des données disponibles sur le bassin versant traité. Les simulations peuvent être réalisées en considérant comme unité de simulation du bilan hydrologique vertical les mailles originales constituant le bassin ou les UHRH. Des exemples de simulation des débits à l'aide du modèle HYDROTEL sur divers bassins versants situés au Canada (Québec, Ontario, Colombie-Britannique) et dans le sud de la France sont présentés. Ces simulations indiquent que les différents algorithmes du modèle réagissent bien et qu'il est possible de considérer son application sur des bassins très divers situés sous des conditions climatiques variées. Des tests plus poussés sont en cours afin de mieux cerner la sensibilité des divers algorithmes aux données d'entrée ainsi que leur interchangeabilité.

RésuméL’objet premier du papier est de présenter les principales hypothèses économiques nécessaires à l’élaboration des processus “Itô” de diffusion en temps continu décrivant l’évolution du rendement des actifs financiers. Le papier discute le degré de généralité de ces hypothèses et fournit également une dérivation utile du lemme d’Itô. Dans le contexte de l’efficience du marché financier, il est démontré qu’un processus Itô ne répond pas de façon générale aux propriétés de la martingale ou du “random walk” pas plus qu’il n’implique que les rendements soient nécessairement normalement distribués.

Les aménagements opérés sur le territoire d’un bassin versant, notamment les processus rapides d’urbanisation et d’industrialisation, ont souvent un impact important sur les ressources en eau, tant en quantité qu’en qualité. La gestion intégrée des ressources en eau par bassin versant (GIEBV) est une méthode reconnue pour évaluer et contrôler l’impact de ces aménagements sur le régime hydrologique. Cette approche de GIEBV est d’autant plus bénéfique dans un contexte de données restreintes et/ou de mauvaise qualité. Dans un tel contexte, un modèle hydrologique peut permettre d’estimer les débits en rivière en tout point du bassin versant. Cet article étudie la capacité du modèle hydrologique distribué Hydrotel à reconstruire le régime hydrologique dans un contexte de données restreintes. Une application sur le bassin versant de la rivière Cau, au Vietnam, est présentée. Une méthodologie originale est également proposée pour identifier la discrétisation spatiale la plus appropriée pour la simulation hydrologique à l’échelle d’un bassin versant en fonction de l’objectif recherché. Les résultats obtenus démontrent que, même sur un bassin versant où les données disponibles sont limitées en quantité et en qualité, Hydrotel peut apporter des informations utiles pour la mise en place de la GIEBV. Cette application réussie d’Hydrotel dans une région tropicale soumise à la mousson et où les données hydrologiques sont restreintes permettra de promouvoir la démarche de GIEBV basée sur la modélisation des processus en Asie du Sud-Est, en général, et au Vietnam, plus particulièrement.

L’objectif de cet article est d’étudier le processus entrepris par un consortium international pour définir un modèle d’entreprise et développer un produit, à savoir un portefeuille mobile basé sur la blockchain à l’usage des petits exploitants agricoles au Kenya. Le potentiel perturbateur des réseaux peer-to-peer et des grands livres distribués est illustré par l’étude de cas basée au Kenya, qui examine le processus de création et de mise en oeuvre d’un modèle d’entreprise et d’une méthode de paiement innovante. L’analyse présentée ici contribue à la littérature en discutant de l’utilisation de la technologie blockchain et des plateformes numériques pour proposer une solution possible pour l’inclusion économique des micro-agriculteurs au Kenya, et en démontrant ses avantages potentiels en termes de création de valeur. Cet article met en outre en lumière les possibilités offertes par la blockchain pour les processus d’entreprise. Enfin, nous citons les implications associées à la finance décentralisée, en discutant de l’innovation du modèle d’entreprise à l’aide de la technologie blockchain.

La psychiatrie computationnelle est un champ émergent qui, dans le prolongement des évolutions récentes en neurosciences cognitives, cherche à comprendre les pathologies mentales par la modélisation des processus élémentaires de pensée et leurs dysfonctionnements. En explicitant l’implémentation neurobiologique des algorithmes utilisés par le cerveau humain pour choisir, percevoir, ou ressentir… D’une certaine façon, cette nouvelle approche de la physiopathologie psychiatrique a pour ambition de combler le « fossé explicatif » entre cerveau et esprit. L’approche computationnelle se base sur la confrontation entre des données neurophysiologiques (IRM, EEG, MEG, électrophysiologie) acquises à chaque niveau de description du cerveau (récepteurs, neurones, réseaux, aires corticales) et les variables cachées prédites par des modèles ajustés aux comportements humains observables. Ce point de vue permet une approche transnosographique des symptômes psychiatriques qui peuvent être reconsidérés et caractérisés en termes de traitements pathologiques de l’information. Ces principes seront illustrés pour montrer :– comment cette approche permet de mieux comprendre l’émergence des processus élémentaires de pensée à partir de réseaux neuraux distribués, à contre-pied des approches néophrénologiques ;– illustrer comment ce type d’approche permet l’étude de l’architecture neurobiologique des processus de prise de décision chez l’homme ;– montrer l’intérêt des modèles bayésiens pour comprendre l’émergence des idées délirantes dans la schizophrénie.

Cependant en cas d’alimentation modérée, des suppléments d’arginine sont susceptibles d’accroître la rétention azotée. En outre, l’amélioration de l’état nutritionnel permise par l’arginine supplémentaire en phase post-traumatique montre une augmentation importante du besoin dans cette situation de stress, ainsi qu’une implication de cette molécule dans les processus d’accrétion tissulaire. Les voies de la formalisation de dynamiques économiques à caractère historique représentent un enjeu important, particulièrement pour des approches telles que la Régulation qui mettent l’histoire au centre de leur dispositif théorique. Ce travail passe en revue un certain nombre d’outils formels revendiquant à des titres divers d’avoir introduit de l’historicité dans les dynamiques qu’ils engendrent, et examine pour chacun d’eux le bien-fondé de cette revendication. Ces outils sont distribués en deux grandes catégories. La première produit ce qu’on pourrait appeler une historicité «dynamique», «formelle», en présentant diverses sortes de propriétés de «dépendance au passé» ou en donnant en certains instants critiques un rôle décisif à la contingence historique. La deuxième catégorie d’outils est destinée à saisir une forme plus profonde d’historicité – dite «structurale» – qui correspond de plus près à la position régulationniste insistant sur les transformations historiques des structures du capitalisme. On présente un formalisme particulier dit «endométabolique» par lequel on vise les dynamiques d’entrée en crise endogène des régimes de croissance, et on discute le type de déterminisme associé à cette sorte de processus.

This paper presents a scalable dynamic load balancing scheme for a parallel front-tracking method based multiphase flow simulation. In this simulation employing both Lagrangian and Eulerian grids, processes operating on Lagrangian grid are susceptible to load imbalance due to moving Lagrangian grid points (bubbles) and load distribution based on spatial location of bubbles. To load balance these processes, we distribute load keeping in view both current processor load distribution and bubble spatial locality and remap interprocess communication. The result is a uniform processor load distribution and predictable and less expensive communication scheme. Scalability studies on the Hazel Hen supercomputer demonstrate excellent scaling with exponential savings in execution time as the problem size becomes increasingly large. While moderate speedup is observed for strong scaling, speedup of up to 30% is achieved over nonload-balanced version when simulating 13824 bubbles on 4096 cores for weak scaling studies.

In this study, the microstructure and performance of newly designed dual-phase steel (DP590) after joining by flash butt welding (FBW) for vehicle wheel rims was analysed and compared by two simulations, i.e., physical simulation and numerical simulation, due to the high acceptance of these two methodologies. Physical simulation is regarded as a thermal–mechanical solution conducted by the Gleeble 3500 simulator and which can distribute the heat-affected zone (HAZ) of the obtained weld joint into four typical HAZs. These are coarse-grained HAZ, fine-grained HAZ, inter-critical HAZ and sub-critical HAZ. A combination of ferrite and tempered martensite leads to the softening behaviour at the sub-critical HAZ of DP590, which is verified to be the weakest area, and influences the final performance due to ~9% reduction of hardness and tensile strength. The numerical simulation, relying on finite element method (FEM) analysis, can distinguish the temperature distribution, which helps us to understand the relationship between the temperature distribution and real microstructure/performance. Based on this study, the combination of physical and numerical simulations can be used to optimise the flash butt welding parameters (flash and butt processes) from the points of temperature distribution (varied areas), microstructure and performance, which are guidelines for the investigation of flash butt welding for innovative materials.

L’usage du tabac entraîne un nombre toujours plus grand de décès et d’hospitalisation. Certains organismes, conscients de ce phénomène, font des efforts valables afin d’en limiter la consommation. Dans cet article, nous présentons les différentes étapes franchies à la demande de la direction de l’Hôpital Ste-Croix pour arriver à une réglementation sur l’usage du tabac dans le dit établissement. Dans le but de connaître les opinions des groupes fréquentant l’hôpital, nous avons fait une enquête par échantillon. Cinq catégories ont été rejointes soient les employés, les patients, les bénéficiaires du centre d’accueil, les visiteurs et les usagers de la clinique externe et d’urgence. Les questionnaires ont été distribués selon un processus adapté à la clientèle et de cette façon nous avons réussi à récupérer 94 % des questionnaires. Les réponses des différents groupes visés portent à croire que le climat est propice à une approche positive du contrôle de l’usage du tabac. Tous sont prêts à accepter une réglementation, même les fumeurs qui représentaient 47 % de l’échantillon. Il demeure qu’une interdiction sans exception ne peut être envisagée. C’est dans cette optique que les démarches pourront se poursuivre ultérieurement.

Operational risk is defined as the risk of loss resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes or external problems. Insurance companies as financial institution that also faced at risk. In this work, the data of operational loss observed from the payment of the claim. In general, the number of insurance claims can be modelled using the Poisson distribution, where the expected value of the claims is similar with variance, while the negative binomial distribution, the expected value was bound to be less than the variance.Analysis tools are used in the measurement of the potential loss is the loss distribution approach with the aggregate method. In the aggregate method, loss data grouped in a frequency distribution and severity distribution. After doing 10.000 times simulation are resulted total loss of claim value, which is total from individual claim every simulation. Then from the result was set the value of potential loss (OpVar) at a certain level confidence.

Abstract The Cold Land Processes Experiment (CLPX) had a goal of describing snow-related features over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. This required linking disparate snow tools and datasets into one coherent, integrated package. Simulating realistic high-resolution snow distributions and features requires a snow-evolution modeling system (SnowModel) that can distribute meteorological forcings, simulate snowpack accumulation and ablation processes, and assimilate snow-related observations. A SnowModel was developed and used to simulate winter snow accumulation across three 30 km × 30 km domains, enveloping the CLPX mesocell study areas (MSAs) in Colorado. The three MSAs have distinct topography, vegetation, meteorological, and snow characteristics. Simulations were performed using a 30-m grid increment and spanned the snow accumulation season (1 October 2002–1 April 2003). Meteorological forcing was provided by 27 meteorological stations and 75 atmospheric analyses grid points, distributed using a meteorological model (MicroMet). The simulations included a data assimilation model (SnowAssim) that adjusted simulated snow water equivalent (SWE) toward ground-based and airborne SWE observations. The observations consisted of SWE over three 1 km × 1 km intensive study areas (ISAs) for each MSA and a collection of 117 airborne gamma observations, each integrating area 10 km long by 300 m wide. Simulated SWE distributions displayed considerably more spatial heterogeneity than the observations alone, and the simulated distribution patterns closely fit the current understanding of snow evolution processes and observed snow depths. This is the result of the MicroMet/SnowModel’s relatively finescale representations of orographic precipitation, elevation-dependant snowmelt, wind redistribution, and snow–vegetation interactions.

Nous présentons ici une méthode simple qui permet de mesurer simultanément l'eau et les sédiments en transit à la surface du sol en milieu agricole. Des hydrogrammes de ruissellement superficiel sont comparés pour évaluer la variabilité saisonnière et spatiale du ruissellement et de l'érosion lors de trois précipitations naturelles (1,16, 1,76, 1,78 mm h-1). Les mesures ponctuelles sur le terrain sont utilisées pour caler une équation de transport des sédiments compatible avec les modèles hydrologiques distribués. Le débit solide (Qs) est exprimé par: Qs = k Qm lp où Q est le débit liquide et l l'intensité des précipitations. Les hydrogrammes montrent que les débits varient dans l'espace selon la distance entre deux points d'échantillonnage et, dans le temps selon l'état de la surface. Pendant la saison, la concentration moyenne des sédiments dans l'eau et le taux de transport demeurent constants. Le transport par le ruissellement sur la parcelle est faible et semble limité par la capacité du processus à maintenir les sédiments en mouvement. Ce comportement affecte le paramètre m associé au débit liquide dans l'équation de transport, qui est en dessous des valeurs théoriques proposées dans la littérature. Le transport de sédiments est également fonction de l, qui par le biais de l'impact des gouttes de pluie sur la surface détache et facilite le transport des particules.

The recent development of the securitisation of funds of private equity funds poses the question of the individual and joint modelling of the underlying funds. Private equity funds are different from other managed funds because of their particular bounded life cycle: when the fund starts, the investment partners make an initial capital commitment, the fund managers gradually draw down the committed capital into investments, returns and proceeds are distributed as the investments are realised and the fund is eventually liquidated as the final investment horizon is reached. Modelling private equity funds therefore requires three stages: the modelling of the commitment drawdowns, the modelling of the investment value and the modelling of the return repayments. A standard lognormal process is utilised for the dynamics of the investment value. Squared Bessel processes are utilised for the dynamics of the rates of drawdowns and repayments. Résumé: Le récent développement de la titrisation de fonds de fonds de placements privés pose la question de la modélisation individuelle et jointe des fonds sous-jacents. Les fonds de placements privés sont différents des autres sociétés d'investissement à cause de leur cycle de vie particulier et limité: au démarrage du fonds, les associés s'engagent sur un apport initial en capital; puis les gérants du fonds opèrent des tirages progressifs sur le capital apporté pour procéder à des investissements; les revenus et les profits sont distribués à mesure que les investissements sont réalisés; enfin, le fonds est liquidé lorsque l'horizon d'investissement est atteint. La modélisation d'un fonds doit donc se faire en trois étapes: la modélisation des tirages sur l'apport en capital, la modélisation de la valeur des investissements et enfin la modélisation des paiements et remboursements des dividendes et retours sur investissements. Un processus lognormal standard est utilisé pour la dynamique de la valeur des investissements. Des processus de Bessel carré sont utilisés pour la dynamique des taux de tirage et de remboursement.

Abstract. Dynamic global vegetation models are a common tool to assess the effect of climate and land use change on vegetation. Though most applications of dynamic global vegetation models use plant functional types, some also simulate species occurrences. While the current development aims to include more processes, e.g. the nitrogen cycle, the models still typically assume an ample seed supply allowing all species to establish once the climate conditions are suitable. Pollen studies have shown that a number of plant species lag behind in occupying climatological suitable areas (e.g. after a change in the climate) as they need to arrive at and establish in the newly suitable areas. Previous attempts to implement migration in dynamic vegetation models have allowed for the simulation of either only small areas or have been implemented as a post-process, not allowing for feedbacks within the vegetation. Here we present two novel methods simulating migrating and interacting tree species which have the potential to be used for simulations of large areas. Both distribute seeds between grid cells, leading to individual establishment. The first method uses an approach based on fast Fourier transforms, while in the second approach we iteratively shift the seed production matrix and disperse seeds with a given probability. While the former method is computationally faster, it does not allow for modification of the seed dispersal kernel parameters with respect to terrain features, which the latter method allows. We evaluate the increase in computational demand of both methods. Since dispersal acts at a scale no larger than 1 km, all dispersal simulations need to be performed at maximum at that scale. However, with the currently available computational power it is not feasible to simulate the local vegetation dynamics of a large area at that scale. We present an option to decrease the required computational costs through a reduction in the number of grid cells for which the local dynamics are simulated only along migration transects. Evaluation of species patterns and migration speeds shows that simulating along transects reduces migration speed, and both methods applied on the transects produce reasonable results. Furthermore, using the migration transects, both methods are sufficiently computationally efficient to allow for large-scale DGVM simulations with migration.

This study aims to determine the loss / power loss in the nijang feeder through the energy reconciliation process, simulation of the ETAP 12.6 program, and manual calculations. The benefits of this research can be used as a basis for consideration of the improvement efforts that should be carried out to minimize power losses in the medium voltage distribution network of Nijang feeders. The method used is quantitative research method because it takes data from the measurement of the transaction point which is then compared with the results in the simulation program ETAP 12.6 and manual calculations. The results showed that the power loss (kWh) resulted from 3 processes showed that the energy reconciliation process resulted in a greater power loss, namely 10,657 kWh, the ETAP 12.6 simulation resulted in a power loss of 3049 kWh and in manual calculations it resulted in losses. power of 4199 kWh, from the results of the research it can be seen that in the simulation process ETAP 12.6 and manual calculations only calculate power losses due to technical causes, while the energy reconciliation process includes technical and non-technical causes. It is hoped that this research can support efforts to improve power losses / losses in the PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa environment.

We developed a coupled triple-moment blowing snow-atmospheric modeling system to study the influence of these processes on a seasonal time scale over the Northern Hemisphere. Two simulations were performed. The first is a 5 month simulation for comparison with snow survey measurements over a Saskatchewan site to validate the modeling system. The second simulation covers the 2006/2007 winter period to study the snow mass budget over the Northern Hemisphere. The results show that surface sublimation is significant in Eurasian Continent and the eastern region of North America, reaching a maximum value of 200 mm SWE (Snow Water Equivalent). Over the Arctic Ocean and Northern Canada, surface deposition with an average value of 30 mm SWE was simulated. Blowing snow sublimation was found to return up to 50 mm SWE back to the atmosphere over the Arctic Ocean while the divergence of blowing snow transport contributes only a few mm SWE to the change in snow mass budget. The results were further stratified in 10 degree latitudinal bands. The results show that surface sublimation decreases with an increase in latitude while blowing snow sublimation increases with latitude. Taken together, the surface sublimation and blowing snow processes was found to distribute 23% to 52% of winter precipitation over the three month winter season.

Chemiresistive gas sensors are an important tool for monitoring air quality in cities and large areas due to their low cost and low power and, hence, the ability to densely distribute them. Unfortunately, such sensor systems are prone to defects and faults over time such as sensitivity loss of the sensing material, less effective heating of the surface due to battery loss, or random output errors in the sensor electronics, which can lead to signal jumps or sensor stopping. Although these defects usually can be compensated, either algorithmically or physically, this requires an accurate screening of the entire sensor system for such defects. In order to properly develop, test, and benchmark corresponding screening algorithms, however, methods for simulating gas sensor networks and their defects are essential. In this work, we propose such a simulation method based on a stochastic sensor model for chemiresistive sensor systems. The proposed method rests on the idea of simulating the defect-causing processes directly on the sensor surface as a stochastic process and is capable of simulating various defects which can occur in low-cost sensor technologies. The work aims to show the scope and principles of the proposed simulator as well as to demonstrate its applicability using exemplary use cases.

Summary The quest for efficient and scalable parallel reservoir simulators has been evolving with the advancement of high-performance computing architectures. Among the various challenges of efficiency and scalability, load imbalance is a major obstacle that has not been fully addressed and solved. The causes of load imbalance in parallel reservoir simulation are both static and dynamic. Robust graph-partitioning algorithms are capable of handling static load imbalance by decomposing the underlying reservoir geometry to distribute a roughly equal load to each processor. However, these loads that are determined by a static load balancer seldom remain unchanged as the simulation proceeds in time. This so-called dynamic imbalance can be exacerbated further in parallel compositional simulations. The flash calculations for equations of state (EOSs) in complex compositional simulations not only can consume more than half of the total execution time but also are difficult to balance merely by a static load balancer. The computational cost of flash calculations in each gridblock heavily depends on the dynamic data such as pressure, temperature, and hydrocarbon composition. Thus, any static assignment of gridblocks may lead to dynamic load imbalance in unpredictable manners. A dynamic load balancer can often provide solutions for this difficulty. However, traditional techniques are inflexible and tedious to implement in legacy reservoir simulators. In this paper, we present a new approach to address dynamic load imbalance in parallel compositional simulation. It overdecomposes the reservoir model to assign each processor a bundle of subdomains. Processors treat these bundles of subdomains as virtual processes or user-level migratable threads that can be dynamically migrated across processors in the run-time system. This technique is shown to be capable of achieving better overlap between computation and communication for cache efficiency. We use this approach in a legacy reservoir simulator and demonstrate a reduction in the execution time of parallel compositional simulations while requiring minimal changes to the source code. Finally, it is shown that domain overdecomposition, together with a load balancer, can improve speedup from 29.27 to 62.38 on 64 physical processors for a realistic simulation problem.

Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) is popular for establishing a native secure quantum communication network. However, existing QKD networks are built via classical wired fiber channels; it is difficult to distribute quantum keys directly into mobile phones, and no effective candidate solution is available yet. This paper presents a novel Flexible Physical Layer Authentication (FPLA) mechanism that exploits the unique characteristic of wireless signals from mobile phones to securely distribute quantum keys via wireless 5G channels. In particular, a 5G Up-Link Sounding Reference Signal (SRS)-based transmission model is developed to capture and extract the unique characteristic, which is then used to distribute quantum keys. Moreover, the model could lose accuracy due to SRS variations introduced by 5G Multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO), so a dimensional transformation residual network is designed to classify legitimate and malicious user equipment (UE). An average authentication accuracy of 96.8% is proved by FPLA in multiple experiments in a 3 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) test environment with a training dataset of 300 samples per malicious UE. Simulation results show that FPLA is able to adapt to antenna diversity in 5G MU-MIMO systems.

Based on virtual reality technology, a friendly human-computer interaction interface and virtual machining environment were developed by Visual C++ and OpenGL. Considering the inhomogeneity of grain size and randomicity of grain distribution, virtual grinding wheel was modeled by taking ortho-hexahedron as basic shape of abrasive grains and randomly distributes them on the wheel base. Mathematic model of interference between abrasive grain and workpiece was established. By using the virtual grinding wheel modeled, surface grinding processes with different machining parameters were simulated. The simulation results show that the system could make operators have a further understanding to chip formation, and the machining results could reflect realistic surface topography of workpiece. Complex grinding process can be realistically simulated. It provides visualization models for the research of grinding mechanism and production forecast.

La profession d’audit est, par sa nature, particulièrement exposée aux dilemmes éthiques. Cet article analyse comment les auditeurs apprennent à résoudre ces dilemmes éthiques rencontrés dans leurs missions, et décrypte plus particulièrement les rôles respectifs de la formation et de l’expérience dans ce processus. Les résultats d’une étude empirique qualitative basée sur quinze entretiens semi-directifs auprès d’auditeurs expérimentés montrent que, malgré le rôle important de la formation théorique dans l’identification d’un dilemme éthique, les auditeurs interprètent le code de déontologie et adaptent leurs décisions au contexte. Il apparaît également que deux dispositifs d’apprentissage ont un rôle prépondérant dans la suite du processus pour permettre la prise de décision éthique : l’apprentissage expérientiel et la réflexivité par le dialogue entre pairs.

Le but de la recherche est de comprendre le processus de résilience de carrière des personnes en transition professionnelle qui ont dû faire face à la crise sanitaire récente. Nous avons recueilli des informations sur 29 actifs (en emploi et au chômage). Nous révélons quatre attitudes de résilience de carrière (de rebond et de résistance) que l’on a pu associer à trois variables : l’identification à l’emploi passé ou futur, les perceptions des conditions d’emploi et du réalisme du projet. Grâce à cette typologie explicative, nous contribuons à la littérature en précisant les processus de résilience de carrière que nous considérons comme une attitude. En effet, si l’optimisme sur le réalisme du projet professionnel est intégré dans les analyses, ce n’est ni le cas de l’identification à l’emploi ni des conditions de travail.

L'article qui est proposé s'inscrit dans le cadre de la recherche de systèmes de gestion de l'eau qui soient en mesure de satisfaire une demande alimentaire croissante dans un contexte de rareté de l'eau, tout en respectant les exigences de l'environnement. Il développe la phase 1 d'une démarche méthodologique visant l'élaboration d'un plan de gestion des eaux d'un lac collinaire en zone semi-aride tunisienne pour un développement agricole durable. Cette phase correspond à l'utilisation d'un modèle de prévision du ruissellement et des sédiments par averse. Le modèle mathématique à paramètres physiques distribués KINEROS est utilisé et appliqué sur un petit bassin versant de 135,35 ha pour 9 averses enregistrées durant les deux années 1997 et 1998 en affectant aux différents paramètres du modèle des valeurs réalistes basées sur les résultats expérimentaux collectés dans la littérature. L'application de ce type de modèle nécessite la connaissance de l'occupation du sol à un instant donné. Pour ce faire, une carte d'aménagement agricole pour l'ensemble du bassin versant a été établie correspondant à la résultante de deux cartes élaborées ; la carte culturale et la carte d'aménagement antiérosif. L'analyse des résultats obtenus a montré que le modèle KINEROS peut être utilisé comme outil d'aide à la gestion des terres et des sols en zone semi-aride tunisienne à relief accidenté.

La psychopathologie est précieuse pour guider l’application de l’imagerie cérébrale fonctionnelle à l’étude des troubles mentaux. En permettant une approche basée sur les processus mentaux plutôt que sur des catégories diagnostiques (par ex. rumination plutôt que dépression), elle offre l’opportunité d’identifier des biomarqueurs susceptibles d’enrichir la nosographie psychiatrique et de renseigner les stratégies diagnostiques et thérapeutiques. En revanche, savoir si l’imagerie cérébrale fonctionnelle peut être un outil au service de la psychopathologie, c’est-à-dire de la compréhension des processus mentaux sous-jacents aux troubles psychiatriques, reste une question controversée. Un intérêt potentiel de l’imagerie cérébrale fonctionnelle pourrait être l’identification de processus mentaux non conscients et inaccessibles à une mesure comportementale. C’est ainsi que la constatation de bases cérébrales communes entre douleur morale et douleur physique a pu donner lieu à des spéculations fascinantes sur l’origine de leur parenté lexicale. Ou encore que certains envisagent de pouvoir distinguer conversion et simulation sur la base de l’activité cérébrale. Mais interpréter cette activité comme témoignant d’un processus mental, raisonnement appelé inférence inverse, pose plusieurs problèmes, que le processus mental soit rapportable ou non. Par exemple, l’activité cérébrale observée peut ne pas être pas spécifique du processus mental en question. Ou alors cette activité cérébrale peut ne pas être définie avec assez de précision. L’ensemble de ces problèmes peut être formalisé dans une perspective bayésienne. En dépit de ces limites, l’inférence inverse est néanmoins un outil heuristique puissant pour susciter des hypothèses secondairement réfutables concernant la nature des processus mentaux et leurs relations (par ex. évocation de l’objet perdu et renforcement lors d’un deuil compliqué). Combinée à des paradigmes expérimentaux de qualité, l’imagerie cérébrale fonctionnelle est donc susceptible d’apporter des connaissances nouvelles à la psychopathologie.

Based on the establishment of a two-dimensional model, a numerical simulation was conducted in this paper to study the flow boiling and heat transfer characteristics of ethanol in a corrugated mini-channel. User defined functions were employed to describe the key processes of heat and mass exchange at the phase interface. Bubble growth profile was monitored over time and its influence on system pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient was also analyzed. The simulation result shows that the nucleation sites tend to distribute near the internal peaks of the heating wall due to the enhanced local turbulence. The system pressure drop increases over the heating time and fluctuates within a certain range. The heat transfer coefficient decreases with increasing quality, and this trend is consistent with the result of similar experimental studies.

AbstrakWire Mesh Sensor (WMS) adalah sensor berbasis tomografi yang menghasilkan gambar distribusi aliran fluida. Citra distribusi merupakan pola distribusi kapasitansi yang diukur dengan elektroda sensor. Dari hasil simulasi dilakukan analisis terhadap pola sebaran potensial listrik untuk mengetahui karakteristik potensial listrik dari sistem WMS yang dimodelkan. Ditemukan ada perbedaan parameter berupa variasi jenis larutan yang dapat mempengaruhi distribusi potensial listrik. Hal ini disebabkan adanya perbedaan nilai konstanta dielektrik masing-masing jenis larutan. Kinerja sistem WMS dalam mendeteksi anomali dievaluasi dengan menganalisis perubahan distribusi kapasitansi terhadap pengaruh perubahan diameter kawat. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa jenis fluida pada kondisi tanpa dan dengan anomali dapat dibedakan dengan jelas melalui pola distribusi kapasitansi yang diukur untuk seluruh diameter kawat. Diameter kawat hanya mempengaruhi kualitas gambar distribusi. Penelitian kualitas citra ini berbasis Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) menggunakan arsitektur MobileNet. Teknik khusus utama pada algoritma CNN adalah convolution, di mana filter meluncur di atas input dan menggabungkan nilai input + nilai filter pada peta fitur. Tujuan akhirnya adalah CNN mampu mengenali objek atau gambar baru berdasarkan fitur-fitur yang dideteksi. The distribution image is a capacitance distribution pattern measured by sensor electrode. From the simulation results, an analysis is carried out on the distribution pattern of the electric potential for know the electrical potential characteristics of the modeled WMS system. It was found that the difference parameters in the form of variations in the type of solution can affect the distribution of electric potential. This is due to there is a difference in the value of the dielectric constant of each type of solution. WMS system performance in detecting anomalies is evaluated by analyzing changes in the capacitance distribution to the effect of change in wire diameter. The simulation results show that the type of fluid in conditions without and with anomalies can be clearly distinguished through the measured capacitance distribution pattern for the entire wire diameter. Wire diameter only affects the distribution image quality. This image quality research is based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) uses Mobile Net architecture. The main special technique to the CNN algorithm is convolution, in which the filter slides over the input and combines the input value + filter value on the feature map. The ultimate goal is that CNN is able to recognize new objects or images based on the detected features. Stretch forming is one of the primary methods in skin forming process. Uniform strain distribution and springback are main factors which affect the precision of air skin. In the article the stretch forming process based on S-skin was analyzed. Firstly the parameters ranges of the loading trajectory were designed through the analytic method. Secondly the initial loading trajectory was optimized through finite element numerical simulation. The optimization processes was performed through FET software integrated with the optimization arithmetic. The motion parameters of jaw and machine’s instructions were selected as design variables. Optimization mathematics model was set up which objective is to reduce springback and improve the strain distributes uniform degree. During optimization the maximum main strain and thickness thinning rate of elements were restricted in permissive range. The forming degree of each stage was rational distributed, and the reasonable loading trajectory was founded. The result shows that the reasonable loading trajectory is including pre-stretch, wrap, press and after stretch. After optimization the strain distributes uniformly and the maximum main strain is between 3％～5％. The maximum stretching rate which appears in the shoulders area is less than 6%. In the concave area in which the insufficiency deforming can be occurred easily the strain achieves about 3%, and the deformation is enough. After optimization the unloading springback is decreased distinctly. The average springback of all elements is 0.47mm which reduces 30% compare with before optimization. The result meets the manufacture requirement.

Parallel multiphysics simulations often suffer from load imbalances originating from the applied coupling of algorithms with spatially and temporally varying workloads. It is, thus, desirable to minimize these imbalances to reduce the time to solution and to better utilize the available hardware resources. Taking particulate flows as an illustrating example application, we present and evaluate load balancing techniques that tackle this challenging task. This involves a load estimation step in which the currently generated workload is predicted. We describe in detail how such a workload estimator can be developed. In a second step, load distribution strategies like space-filling curves or graph partitioning are applied to dynamically distribute the load among the available processes. To compare and analyze their performance, we employ these techniques to a benchmark scenario and observe a reduction of the load imbalances by almost a factor of four. This results in a decrease of the overall runtime by 14% for space-filling curves.

Efforts to maintain the continuity of electricity distribution to customers and reduce the amount of Energy Not Distributed (END) are to speed up the recovery process due to disturbances in the electricity distribution system, especially blackouts. The strategy to speed up recovery in a total blackout is to do a black-start on a generator unit with a black-start facility and send voltage to a larger generator unit. At the Grati-Paiton Substation, the generator that has black-start facilities is the Grati Gas Steam Power Plant (GSPP). The delivery of power and voltage from the Grati-Paiton substation is required after the Grati GSPP successfully black-start. Study optimal power flow simulation in distributing power and voltage using DigSILENT software. Based on the simulation results, several schemes are used to distribute power and voltage from the Grati-Paiton substation within the generator’s Mvar. As a result, the voltage during the distribution process meets the criteria according to the Grid. The most optimal scheme is with the least number of stages, the production of Mvar, which is still safe for power generation, and the voltage at the end of the Paiton substation still meets the nominal voltage according to the Grid.

En Côte d’Ivoire, les produits pétroliers convoyés et distribués aux populations dans la région du Haut-Sassandra sont issus des entités portuaires d’Abidjan. Depuis ces dernières décennies, les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) régulent les flux pétroliers acheminés aux usagers. Néanmoins, les actes traditionnels dans la satisfaction des utilisateurs des produits carburants peinent à connaitre une réelle amélioration. Cette étude se propose de montrer l’impact des TIC dans le processus d’acheminement de ces frets pétroliers d’Abidjan vers le Haut-Sassandra. Suite à la recherche documentaire, l’enquête de terrain est axée sur une série d’entretien avec des marketeurs, des pompistes, des transporteurs de camions citernes et des automobilistes. Ainsi, dans le processus de diffusion des produits carburants dans le Haut-Sassandra, les TIC permettent la disparition des barrières physiques et spatio-temporelles. Excepté le contact permanent entre les acteurs du réseau de distribution, la téléphonie mobile et le GPS sont indéniables pour anticiper d’éventuelles pénuries à la station-service. Cette présence régulière de produits carburants dans la région du Haut-Sassandra accroit ainsi les profits pécuniaires de ces promoteurs. Mais, malgré l’avènement des TIC dans le paysage ivoirien, les structures étatiques peinent à suivre et contrôler en temps réel les trafics pétroliers des entités vers les régions nationales.
In Côte d'Ivoire, the petroleum products transported and distributed to the populations in the Haut-Sassandra region come from the port entities of Abidjan. For the past few decades, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been regulating the flow of oil products to users. Nevertheless, the traditional acts in the satisfaction of users of fuel products are struggling to make a real improvement. This study proposes to show the impact of ICT in the process of routing these oil freights from Abidjan to the Haut-Sassandra. Following the documentary research, the field survey is centered on a series of interviews with marketers, pumpers, tanker transporters and motorists. Thus, in the process of disseminating fuel products in the Haut-Sassandra, ICTs allow physical and spatio-temporal barriers to disappear. Apart from the permanent contact between the actors of the distribution network, mobile telephony and GPS are undeniable for anticipating possible shortages at the service station. This regular presence of fuel products in the Haut-Sassandra region thus increases the financial profits of these promoters. However, despite the advent of ICTs in the Ivorian landscape, state structures are struggling to monitor and control in real time oil traffic from the entities to the national regions.

The difficulties with the application of low strain integrity testing for evaluating the length of driven precast piles of two sections justify the need for new data acquisition and analysis techniques. The standard time domain analysis of the recorded signals may not allow for distinguishing the desired responses from a pile toe and a splice. In this paper, we propose the use of a set of hammers of different weights and tip materials that will provide various sensitivities of the test to a pile splice. To further analyze the collected data, we study the distributions of phase angles obtained using complex continuous wavelet transform. The characteristic phase shifts that distribute from higher to lower frequencies can be interpreted as responses from a pile toe and a splice. To verify the proposed approaches, a series of numerical simulations were performed using the finite element method for the driven pile models with the different properties of a splice zone. Numerical simulation results show that the pile splices are clearly identified when using the shorter input pulses which can be generated by light hammers with a hard head material. The total length of a simulated pile with a 1 mm air gap between sections was undetectable by standard data analysis approaches and was evaluated when analyzing the wavelet phase angle distributions. Numerically validated data acquisition and analysis techniques were applied to field data analysis and allowed us to confidently identify the length of two-section piles grouped with a pile cap.

L’étude réalisée auprès d’un échantillon de 166 professionnels français de la gestion des ressources humaines a pour objectif d’analyser le jugement éthique dans le processus de décision de lancement d’alerte lors de la phase de recrutement. Les DRH occupent une place centrale dans les organisations puisqu’ils sont garants des bonnes pratiques et du respect de la loi Sapin 2. Les dilemmes présentés reproduisent les 6 scénarios originaux de Jones (1991) dans le contexte spécifique du recrutement. Les résultats obtenus, suite à une analyse qualitative menée avec Alceste, montrent l’émergence de 4 composantes principales du jugement dans l’intention de dénoncer des pratiques non éthiques : les valeurs et la morale, le respect des règles et de la procédure, la quête de la performance et enfin la maîtrise des coûts.

Large-scale artificial societies with millions or billions of agents call for high-performance parallel simulation. Prevailing supercomputers with thousands of CPUs and GPUs make it possible to carry out such simulation. The key is to distribute large-scale agents to massive cores of CPUs and GPUs properly for parallel computing with efficient communication and synchronization. For simplicity and efficiency, a modified discrete event system specification (DEVS) is proposed for large-scale artificial society modeling and parallelism is exploited in agent models because similar agents usually share similar behaviors. Through phased synchronization, a two-tier parallel simulation engine is designed with support of MPI and OpenCL where GPU is used as coprocessor. One-sided communication is used for reflection of remote simulation objects and message passing between processes. A general kernel function prototype is elaborately designed and conditionally compiled for execution on both CPU and GPU. An artificial society for epidemic study is used to test the performance on a supercomputer with 1024 CPU cores and 1792 GPU cores. The speedup reaches 3512 for even 2 billion agents with GPU acceleration which is far over 701 when only CPUs are used. It turns out feasible for parallel simulation of large-scale artificial society with GPU as coprocessor.

The replacement of ACB processes about 12 hours and causes the distributing activity of BBM to Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum (SPBU) has to be stopped. It makes impact toward the work ability of supplying and distributing system. Therefore, a planning model which is able to see the impact of ACB replacement toward system behavior of supplying and distributing is needed. Purpose of the modelling is to study the behavioral effects of variable in supply and distribution system using causal loop diagram and stock flow diagram. Result of this diagram has built simulation model to analyze performance system. Verification testing done by the method of checking the level and flow and testing of the coding. Validation of the model while the testing is done by operational graphics and the variability parameter sensitivity analysis. The model was designed and carried out the design of simulated scenarios to determine a strategy for decision-makers to look at the performance of BBM supply and distribution system.
