Reikia atkreipti didesnį dėmesį į patį ţmogų.The main issue analysed in this work is the harm done to a human body by the six factors: drugs, genetically modified organisms (GMO), air pollution, cosmetics, radiation and preservatives. Health is the most important human value and the majority of nowadays world solutions may reduce it faster than we think it could. This paper is about save systems and will analyze save functions in various games. Save systems in games are usually blamed for harming the suspension of disbelief as it is an act taking place outside the game and should only be used for its intended purpose: letting the players store their game data, and progress whenever they need. The game save function developed as rapid leaps of technology were made, with the beginning era of home consoles and home computers allowing players to spend more time playing, creating a demand for longer play sessions in games which lead to a need of methods for storing game data. The analysis of save systems is carried out in this paper by using MDA Framework (Mechanics, Dynamics, Aesthetics), a tool used for documenting game design. This framework can be used to analyze a game from a designer‟s or player‟s perspective. By reversing the framework ADM (Aesthetics, Dynamics and Mechanics) one can analyze the user experience, which is how the player perceives the game‟s aesthetics to be, depending on the dynamics and mechanics. This analysis aims to provide knowledge of how consistency in game design and the save system can be used to create a cohesive game world that facillitates the player's experience and immersion.

Driven by an envisioned potential of merging theories and practices of play with studies of fashion sustainability, this research went through a play-centric design process to explore the question of How can play and games help reduce fashion waste? Seven design experiments investigated different game impact goals that could have a positive effect on the pursuit of fashion sustainability. The main research findings show that games can create a safe space for players to challenge their own conceptions of fashion. The results also show that games have great potential to assign meaning to garments through shared memories, secrets, stories and meaningful words. Furthermore, the study shows that modular clothes designed as games have the potential to playfully engage their wearers for long, sparking social interaction and inspiring new playful ways to engage with fashion. Additionally, beyond the design process results and actionable insights, this research considers the exposure of its framing to be a crucial contribution. Fashion sustainability is, therefore, a pressuring topic that needs people to be engaged in what they do and know best, in order for transformation to happen. Can games save fashion? The answer is probably no, but this research has proven that play and games offer a fruitful path to start trying.

Savo unikalumo išgyvenimas psichoterapinėje grupėje Šiame magistro darbe buvo tiriamas savo unikalumo išgyvenimo psichoterapinėje grupėje fenomenas. Įvadinėje dalyje į unikalumo fenomeną buvo pažvelgta iš filosofinių (S.Kierkegaardo, M.Heideggerio, M.Buberio, P.Tilicho) ir psichologinių (G.W.Allporto, C.R.Rogerso, S.M.Jourardo, J.Bugentalio, V.Franklio, A.R.Beisserio) idėjų perspektyvos. Buvo siekiama išsiaiškinti, kaip savo unikalumas patiriamas konkrečioje psichoterapinėje grupėje ir apibrėžti unikalumo fenomeną konkrečiai tiriamųjų grupei. Tyrime buvo naudojamas fokusinių grupių metodas. Fokusinė grupės buvo organizuojamos trumpalaikių psichoterapinių grupių kontekste. fokusinėse grupėse dalyvavo 13 žmonių: 11 moterų ir 2 vyrai. Buvo surengtos 2 fokusinės grupės, kurias pagal iš anksto paruoštą planą vedė moderatorius – šio darbo autorė. Gauti duomenys buvo apdoroti A.Giorgi fenomenologinės analizės metodo pagalba. Sudaryti 10 specifinių situacinių savo unikalumo fenomeno apibrėžimų, kuriais remiantis buvo suformuluoti 2 bendri galutiniai fenomeno apibrėžimai. Šio tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad: 1)savo unikalumo išgyvenimas psichoterapinėje grupėje yra sudėtingas fenomenas, pasižymintis didele pasireiškimų įvairove; 2)savo unikalumo patyrimas psichoterapinėje grupėje glaudžiai susijęs su universalumo patyrimu: savo unikalumas išgyvenamas kartu su universalumu su grupės dalyviais arba tuoj po jo; 3)savo unikalumo patyrimas trumpalaikėje psichoterapinėje grupėje yra... [toliau žr. visą tekstą]The Phenomenon of Uniqueness in a Psychotherapy Group The phenomenon of uniqueness in a psychotherapy group was studied in his master‘s degree work. Introduction was dedicated to review the human relationship phenomenon from the philosophical (S.Kierkegaard, M.Heidegger, M.Buber, P.Tilich) and psychological (G.W.Allport, C.R.Rogers, S.M.Jourard, J.Bugental, V.Frankl, A.R.Beisser) perspective. The aim of this work was to explore in what way the phenomenon of uniqueness is experienced in a certain psychotherapy group and define the phenomenon of uniqueness for the certain research group. The method of focus group was used in this research. Focus groups were organized in the context of short-term psychotherapy groups. 13 persons were participating in the focus groups: 11 women and 2 men. 2 focus groups were created, which were managed by the author of this study based on provided plan. The results were processed using A.Giorgi phenomenal method. 10 specific situational definitions of the phenomenon of uniqueness were created, which were used to formulate two ultimate definitions of the phenomenon. Les mousses liquides font partie de la vie de tous les jours : dans la tasse de cappuccino le matin, dans la vaisselle du soir, ainsi que dans les sodas accompagnés de mentos. Cette matière très aérienne (64% d'air au minimum) est un excellent milieu pour absorber les vibrations, quelques couches de bulles suffisent à diminuer fortement l'intensité d'une onde acoustique passant au travers. Présentement, presque tous les modèles existants pour les mousses liquides ne traitent que des temps longs, cette propriété d'atténuation des vibrations est décrite dans très peu de modèles. Pour décrire ces propriétés, on décide d'étudier la vibration individuelle d'un des éléments constitutifs des mousses liquides, les films de savon. En mesurant la relation de dispersion d'un film, ainsi que l'amplitude de vibration en fonction de la fréquence, on parvient à mesurer la dissipation d'un film unique, ce qui nous permet de mieux comprendre les mécanismes de dissipation dans une mousse liquideLiquid foams are a common occurence in our daily lives : in the cappucino cup in the morning, when washing dishes the evening, or when Mentos are put in a carbonated drink. This light material is mainly constituted of air (64% at least) and is an excellent damper for vibrations, since a few layers of bubbles are enough to strongly reduce the intensity of a propagating acoustic wave. At the moment, almost every model used to describe liquid foams focus on long-time behaviour and this dampening property is described only by a few models. To describe these properties, we decide to sudy the individual vibration of a soap film, which is an elementary brick of a liquid foam. By measuring the dispersion relation, and the vibration amplitude as a function of frequency, we can measure the dissipation for a single soap film, which allows us to have a better understanding of the dissipation occuring in a liquid foam

El presente proyecto de tesis, situado en la ciudad de Huancayo, es el resultado de la búsqueda por un ordenamiento y una mejora de una ciudad presa por la informalidad, el centralismo y la inseguridad. Después de un análisis urbano, se llegó a la conclusión que el mayor punto de inseguridad e informalidad es justamente el centro de la ciudad, donde se sitúan más de cinco diferentes mercados en un radio de medio kilometro. Todo esto ocurre a menos de un kilometro del centro histórico de la ciudad, propiciando la poca accesibilidad, escaza seguridad y un bajo atractivo sobre una ciudad tan maravillosa como la incontrastable Huancayo. Son por estos motivos, que se tomo la decisión de proponer un mercado, lo suficientemente alejado del centro como para descongestionarlo del caos que generan los diferentes mercados que actualmente funcionan ahí, pero sin perder de vista a la gran cantidad de usuarios que utilizan este equipamiento. Teniendo en cuenta los puntos anteriores, se busco la zona mas desabastecida de la ciudad y con mayor potencial; San Carlos, es sin duda un barrio que ha ido creciendo al punto de casi convertirse en un distrito. En la actualidad no existe un mercado formal que abastezca esta zona, tampoco un gran equipamiento o espacio público que genere una convivencia adecuada entre los ciudadanos. El proyecto “Mercado San Carlos” propone un ordenamiento, una mejor animación en la zona, mayor seguridad y una convivencia que mejore la calidad de vida de los pobladores.The present thesis project, located in the city of Huancayo, is the result of the search for an order and improvement of a city imprisoned by informality, centralism and insecurity. After an urban analysis, it was concluded that the greatest point of insecurity and informality is precisely the center of the city, where more than five different markets are located within a radius of half a kilometer. All this occurs less than one kilometer from the historic center of the city, leading to poor accessibility, scanty security and low attractiveness over a city as wonderful as the undeniable Huancayo. It is for these reasons, that the decision was made to propose a market, far enough from the center to decongest it from the chaos generated by the different markets that currently operate there, but without losing sight of the large number of users who use this equipment. Considering the previous points, we searched for the most underserved area of the city and with the greatest potential; San Carlos, is undoubtedly a neighborhood that has grown to the point of almost becoming a district. At present there is no formal market that supplies this area, nor a great equipment or public space that generates an adequate coexistence among citizens. The "Market San Carlos" project proposes an order, a better animation in the area, greater security and a coexistence that improves the quality of life of the inhabitants.

The colonisation of freshly sawn Corsican pine lumber by sapstain and mould fungi was investigated at a sawmill in Hampshire, UK. Three repeat trials encompassing the different seasons of the year were carried out over two years. Results show that fungal colonisation of sawn lumber is dependent on the effect of time of year. Sawlogs were stored for different intervals up to 16 weeks before conversion to boards. Boards were then stored for up to 12 weeks after milling and sampled every 4 weeks to determine the effect of timber ageing on fungal colonisation up to 28 weeks after felling. The metabolic activity of wood cells over the period after felling of the original tree was also measured. It was evident that the defacement of boards reached maximum levels after 12 weeks exposure irrespective of seasonal influences. Initial levels of fungal growth on lumber were reduced if the boards were milled from logs stored for a period prior to conversion. Investigations into the metabolic activity of the wood cells revealed significant levels of respiration taking place up to 28 weeks after felling of the original tree including 12 weeks post-conversion into boards. Boards were used to make a nested stack arrangement allowing plastic tanks top be placed in the centre. The tanks contained a sub-sample of the full-size boards in order to investigate insect activity and effects of gammairradiation. A total of 115 insect species representing 16 of the 34 British orders were collected during the trials. Seventy-two percent of these insects were collected from within the stacks of lumber and investigations using sealed tanks containing boards showed that the insects could influence the fungal colonisation of sawn lumber. Despite the relatively short length of the trials, a succession of insect colonisation from fungivores through to predators and detritivores was recorded. Boards, which were sterilised by gamma-irradiation, were preferentially colonised by mould fungi and subsequent internal staining was confined to the outer surface. Trials with short-length billets allowed the wood-colonising ability of selected sapstain fungi to be investigated under controlled conditions following sterilisation by gamma-irradiation or autoclaving, and storage at 30°C and 20°C. Lesion formation in gamma-irradiated tissue was solely due to the fungus potentially conditioning the wood for colonisation. Colonisation studies also revealed that different fungi exhibit different strategies enabling them to infect timber. Pathogenic species demonstrated a relatively fast initial growth rate to establish themselves before triggering any host anti-fungal responses in the wood. The characteristic lesions created in the billets were investigated using light and electron microscopy to reveal hyphal invasion and or/ wood cell modifications. Respiratory activity of the lesions was elucidated using radioactively labelled glucose allowing the metabolic pathways to be ascertained and demonstrated that wood tissue in the apparently healthy regions adjacent to the lesions reacted as if infected. Future work considers the possibility of biocontrol, using insects in combination with gamma-irradiation of sawn lumber and also further investigations into the reaction zones produced by the fungus growing in the wood.

Tyrėjai vis dažniau skiria dvi save žalojančių paauglių grupes: mėginančius nusižudyti ir nesuicidiškai save žalojančius, kurie nesiekia mirties. Tačiau iki šiol buvo atlikta mažai populiacinių tyrimų, mėginančių šias dvi grupes tiesiogiai palyginti, todėl informacija apie šių grupių psichologinių ypatumų ir save žalojančio elgesio vidinių veiksnių skirtumus yra gana prieštaringa. Tyrime buvo naudojamas „Gyvenimo būdo ir prisitaikymo klausimynas“ (orig. Lifestyle and Coping Skills Questionnaire), kurį Lietuvoje adaptavo ir paauglių save žalojančio elgesio tyrimui pritaikė A. Laskytė ir N. Žemaitienė. Dalis jų surinktų duomenų analizuojama šiame darbe. Tikslas: ištirti bendros populiacijos paauglių suicidinio ir nesuicidinio save žalojančio elgesio vidinius veiksnius: motyvus, savižudiškus ketinimus, žalojančio elgesio ypatumus ir su šiais faktoriais galimai susijusius asmens psichologinius ypatumus. Taip pat atskleisti būdingus šių veiksnių skirtumus merginoms ir vaikinams. Tiriamieji: 15-17 metų amžiaus Lietuvos moksleiviai, kurie pildydami „Gyvenimo būdo ir prisitaikymo klausimyną“, atsakė, kad bent kartą gyvenime sąmoningai save žalojo. Klausimyno pildymo metu paaiškindami save žalojančio elgesio priežastis, prie teiginio „Aš norėjau numirti“ paaugliai galėjo atsakyti „Taip“ arba „Ne“. Pagal šį atsakymą jie buvo suskirstyti į dvi grupes: suicidiškai save žalojančių – norėjusiųjų numirti (n=163), ir nesuicidiškai save žalojančių – nenorėjusiųjų numirti (n=118). Rezultatai:... [toliau žr. visą tekstą]Researches often differentiate two groups of self-harming adolescents: those who attempters a suicide, and those who are harming themselves in a non-suicidal way, and they don‘t seek the death. However just a few community-based research, which would directly compare these groups, were done so far, and therefore information about the differences of the psychological peculiarity and self-harming behavior‘s internal factors between the groups is ambivalent. Lifestyle and Coping Skills Questionnaire (Hawton, 2006), adapted and adjusted for the research of adolescents self-harming behavior by A. Laskytė and N. Žemaitienė in 2006, was used in this work. A part of their collected data is also used in this work. The aim: to examine the intrapersonal factors of suicidal and non-suicidal self-harm in a community sample population: the motives, suicidal intentions, the peculiarities of harming self-harm and person‘s psychological traits that could be possibly related to those factors. It also aimed to reveal the typical differences of these factors between the genders. The sample: 15-17 year old Lithuanian pupils who, while answering into Lifestyle and Coping Skills Questionnaire, responded that they were harming themselves at least once in a life time. Textilbranschen är en utav världens största och smutsigaste branscher som vi har idag. Medoerhörda mängder vatten som används och kemikalier samt koldioxidutsläpp som släpps ut varje dag, har modebranschen en stor påverkan på vår miljö. Konsumtionen tillsammans med ett ökat begär av att vara i tiden och följa trender som ständigt uppdateras i modebranschen. Tillsammanskan konsumenter och företag hitta tillvägagångssätt och lösningar på miljöförstöringen som textilbranschen medför. Att återanvända eller återvinna plagg är inget som är nytt på marknaden, dock uppstår allt fler sätt att ta tillvara på textilt avfall fram genom återvinning. Recycling, redesign och remake är några av de vanligaste sätten att ta hand om det textila avfallet och att skapa nya kläder. Plaggen tas isär och bryts ner på fibernivå och därefter vävs eller stickas nya plagg som konsumenter kan använda på nytt. Att återvinna textilier är en krävande process och det är viktigt att ha rätt fiber för att kvalitén i plagget ska kvarstå efter att återvinningen är gjord. Syftet med den här studien har varit att undersöka sportföretags förhållningssätt till begreppet upcycling samt framtidsplaner och förbättringsområden när det kommer till deras hållbarhetsarbete. I den här studien kommer frågor kring hållbarhetsarbeten ställas med syftet att få fram svaren kringförbättringsområden i arbetena. Rapporten kommer även att beskriva vad företagen har föruppfattning gällande upcycling och vad de kopplar till begreppet upcycling. Upcycling innebär att man förlänger ett plaggs liv utan att bryta ner det på fibernivå och därigenom öka dess värde. Under studiens gång har företag inom sportbranschen med grund i Sverige kontaktats. Arbetet har till största delen utförts i Borås. Frågeställningarna har undersökt begreppet upcycling, hur det går att tillämpa i praktiken och samtliga intervjuade företags hållbarhetsarbeten. Genom intervjuerna hämtades värdefull information kring upcycling och hållbarhet, som inte hittats när det söktes information bland litteraturen. Information har hämtats från litteratur samt vetenskapliga artiklar. Rapporten är skriven med fokus på ett hållbarhetsperspektiv och nya lösningar när det kommer tilltextilt avfall. Därmed undersöks upcycling och om den processen har en potential att växa inom sportindustrin. Avgränsningar görs gentemot företag som inte är grundade i Sverige. Studien kommer endast att ta upp grundläggande ekonomiska aspekter med fokus på produkt.The textile industry is one of the world's largest and dirtiest industries we have today. With the enormous amount of water, chemicals and carbon dioxide emissions that are released every day, the fashion industry has a major impact on our environment. Consumption together with an increased desire to buy fast fashion clothes and follow trends that are constantly updated, is a difficult task to achieve. Together, consumers and companies can find approaches and solutions to the environmental deterioration that the textile industry brings. Reusing or recycling garments is nothing new in the market, however, more and more ways of utilizing textile waste are emerging through recycling. Recycling, redesign and remake are some of the most common ways of handling textile waste and creating new clothes after that. When it comes to recycling, the garments is taken apart and broken down at fiber level and then woven or knit new garments. Consumers can thereafter reuse their old clothes that has turned into new ones. Recycling textiles is a demanding process and it is important to have the right fiber in order for the quality of the garment to remain after the recycling is done. The purpose of this study has been to investigate sports companies' approach to the concept of upcycling as well as future plans and areas of improvement when it comes to their sustainability work. In this study, questions about sustainability work will be asked with the aim of obtaining answers about areas of improvement. The report will also describe how companies view upcycling and what they relate to the concept of upcycling. Upcycling means extending the life of a garment without breaking it down at fiber level and increasing its value. During the course of the study, companies in the sports industry based in Sweden were contacted. The work has largely been carried out in Borås. The issues have examined the concept of upcycling, how it can be applied in practice and all interviewed companies' sustainability work. Through the interviews valuable information on upcycling and sustainability was added to the study because not enough facts were found in the litterature. The information has also been taken from literature and scientific articles. The report is written focusing on a sustainability perspective and new solutions when it comes to textile waste. Au cours de cette thèse nous avons caractérisé les tourbillons quasibidimensionnels générés par convection thermique turbulente dans une demi-bullede savon. La loi de puissance en temps sur leur déplacement quadratique moyen estégalement valide pour les cyclones terrestres. Cette loi permet la prévision detrajectoire de cyclones assortie du cône de prévision comparable aux cônesexistants. Ainsi, les incertitudes de prédiction de trajectoire et les fluctuations decette trajectoire par rapport à une trajectoire moyenne sont liées. Par ailleurs, l’étudede l’intensité des tourbillons de la bulle a montré qu’ils pouvaient être décrit par unmodèle de tourbillon de type Lamb. Le suivi lagrangien de particules de fluide dans letourbillon de la bulle a permis d’en suivre des phases d’intensification et de déclin.Nous proposons une loi d’intensification commune aux tourbillons de la bulle et auxcyclones terrestres. L’influence de la rotation de la bulle sur le nombre de tourbillons,sur leur durée de vie, sur leur trajectoire et sur la loi de puissance de leurdéplacement quadratique moyen a également été étudiée. Nous nous sommes aussiintéressés à l’influence de la rotation sur les propriétés statistiques du champ defluctuations de température. Les fonctions de structures de la température semblentse raidir avec la rotation de la bulle et leurs exposants passeraient d’un régime de loide puissance en n/3 à n/2This thesis aims at the characterisation of quasi two dimensionalvortices stemming from turbulent thermal convection in a half soap bubble heatedfrom below. The power law in time for their mean square displacement is also validfor Earth hurricanes. This law allows simple hurricane trajectory prediction with itstrack forecast cone wich compares very well to already available cones. In this way,track prediction uncertainty and track fluctuations around a mean track are linked.The intensity of the soap bubble vortices is also studied by the mean of particleimages velocimetry and shows that their velocity field profiles are well described by aLamb type model. The Lagrangian tracking of fluid praticles in a bubble vortex allowsus to follow its intensification and decline phases. We propose an intensification lawfor both soap bubble vortices and Earth hurricanes. Rotation influence on the vorticesnumber, on their life-time, on their trajectory and on the power law of their meansquared displacement is also gauged. The statistical properties of the temperaturefield fluctuations also seem to change with rotation. The exponent of the temperaturestructure functions present a scaling transition from n/3 to n/2

yesThe key questions to be addressed in this study are: ¿ with the benefit of hindsight, what conflict prevention `packages¿ could the international community have designed in order to minimise the probability of the conflicts that actually took place? ¿ how much would have been saved if these packages had been implemented, given reasonable estimates about their costs, compared with the actual cost of conflict and post-conflict intervention. The first section provides a background to the conflicts. This is followed by an assessment of the levels of resources that the international community has committed to the Western Balkans since 1991. The third part of the study provides two hypothetical scenarios for CP interventions that might have restrained conflict from breaking out. These CP packages are then costed and an assessment of their probability of success is made.

The converted populations of Missions San Antonio, San Carlos, and Soledad never participated in an organized revolt against the Franciscan missionaries like other populations did throughout the American West. Yet, the converts were subjected to the same methods of control by the Franciscan missionaries. Because the tribes of the Monterey area were small and relatively unconnected to their neighbors, the groups could not organize as one once they were on the missions. For these missions individual revolt was how the converts responded to the types of control that they were subjected to. This paper analyzes the common threads in the violent revolts throughout the American West and demonstrates that these were present at Missions San Antonio, San Carlos, and Soledad. This paper then demonstrates that the neophytes on these missions did revolt, just on an individual as opposed to a group basis.

Il presente lavoro si inserisce nell’ambito delle ricerche che la Cattedra di Storia del Cristianesimo dell’Università degli Studi di Foggia conduce sul territorio di Capitanata al fine di analizzare gli aspetti della religiosità e dei culti locali. Obiettivo della ricerca è stato ricostruire l’agiografia e il culto di san Severo, vescovo di Napoli, patrono della diocesi di San Severo in Capitanata. Il lavoro è stato diviso in due sezioni. Nella prima si è esaminata la figura dell’Antistite napoletano, partendo dallo studio della scheda relativa presente negli Acta Sanctorum. Si è proceduto, così, alla ricognizione delle fonti e alla classificazione delle stesse. Fondamentale è stato reperire i tre manoscritti contenenti la Vita Severi e procedere alla relativa analisi e confronto, oltre che, naturalmente, alla traduzione in italiano. Particolare attenzione è stata data alla ricostruzione del culto del Santo attraverso l’analisi delle fonti iconografiche, liturgiche e monumentali. Nella seconda sezione della tesi l’attenzione si è appuntata sul patronato del Vescovo partenopeo a favore dell’omonima città di Capitanata. Nel ricomporre le fasi dell’intricata questione del patronato sanseverese, è emerso, però, che il Vescovo non risulta essere il santo venerato ab origine dell’abitato. Il primo documento, infatti, in cui sia presente un legame tra la Città e san Severo di Napoli sono i Capitolari scritti durante l’episcopato di mons. Francesco Giocoli nel 1716. L’operazione di identificazione del Santo venerato in città ab origine è stata possibile solo grazie alla sinergia di più scienze: la storia, l’agiografia, l’iconografia, la liturgia. Indispensabile è stata l’analisi dei collegamenti tra la città di San Severo e l’ordine monastico dei Benedettini e degli Agostiniani. La chiesa matrice dell’abitato è dedicata non a un san Severo ma a un beatus Severinus. La ricerca ha evidenziato come nei martirologi e nei calendari liturgici medievali e moderni la vita di san Severino abate del Norico, venerato l’otto gennaio, veniva spesso incrociata e confusa con quella di altri san Severo e san Severino. Proprio la fusione di elementi agiografici e iconografici, perciò, ha permesso l’identificazione del Santo eponimo della città di San Severo in san Severino del Norico. La duplice denominazione originaria dell’abitato “Sanctus Severus / Sanctus Severinus”, perciò, non è indice della presenza di due santi diversi ma dell’esistenza ab origine civitatis di un unico santo venerato in entrambi i modi.

This work is included within research that the Chair of the History of Christianity at the University of Foggia leads on the territory of Capitanata to analyze aspects of religiosity and local cults. The objective of this research was to reconstruct the hagiography and the cult of St. Severus, Bishop of Naples, the patron saint of the Diocese of San Severo (Foggia). The work was divided into two sections. In the first one has been considered the figure of Neapolitan Bishop, starting from the study of the tab for this in the Acta Sanctorum. We proceeded, so, to the recognition of the sources and to the classification of the same. Essentially, it was finding the three manuscripts containing the Vita Severi and proceed to its analysis and to comparison, as well as, of course, to the translation into Italian. Particular attention has been given to the reconstruction of the cult of the saint through the analysis of iconographic, liturgical and monumental sources. In the second section of the thesis attention has been steered on the patronage of the Bishop of Naples in favor of the homonymous city of Capitanata. Reconstructing the phases of the intricate question of the patronage of San Severo, it was found, however, that the Bishop does not appear to be the patron saint ab origine of the settlement. The first document, in fact, that there is a link between the City and St. Severus of Naples are the Capitolari written during the episcopate of Bishop Giocoli in 1716. The parish matrix of the town is not dedicated to a Sanctus Severus but to a beatus Severinus. The process of identification of the saint venerated in the city outset was only possible thanks to the synergy of science: history, hagiography, iconography, liturgy. Essential was the analysis of the links between the city of San Severo and the monastic order of the Benedictines and Augustinians. Research has shown that in the martyrologies and in the liturgical calendars medieval and modern, life of St. Severinus Noricum Abbot, venerated the eighth of January, was often crossed and confused with that of other saints Severus and Severinus. Exactly the merger of hagiographic and iconographic elements, therefore, allowed the identification of the eponymous saint of the city of San Severo in St. Severinus Noricum Abbot. The dual designation originally of the settlement "Sanctus Severus / Sanctus Severinus', therefore, does not indicate the presence of two different saints but from the existence of a single saint venerated in both ways.

L'abbaye de Saint-Savin est à la veille de la Révolution un établissement monastique important de la Congrégation de Saint-Maur qui intervient dans un espace de domination seigneuriale avec l'abbé de Saint-Hilaire et les religieux qui exercent leurs pouvoirs, prélèvent leurs droits, dynamisent l'économie agricole pour augmenter les revenus de la mense abbatiale et de la mense conventuelle. C'est en qualité de seigneur châtelain que l'abbé commendataire François de David de Saint-Hilaire prend possession du monastère en 1769 et exerce ses droits sur l'étendue de son domaine et du fief des Dîmes de Rillet. La châtellenie fait partie de la vie monastique, son influence est incontestable dans la société campagnarde du XVIIIe siècle. Autour du monastère, Saint-Savin est un gros bourg, une étape routière sur la route Poitiers-Bourges, c'est un pôle commercial et l'activité économique locale est suffisante pour maintenir la présence des moines jusqu'en 1790. Etre bénédictin à Saint-Savin au XVIIIe siècle, c'est être un moine mauriste, un campagnard et un seigneur souvent contraint par des nécessités à prendre la route. Les religieux ont prouvé, par leur conduite qu'ils sont à Saint-Savin intégrés à toute une société campagnarde. Ce sont des hommes d'expérience, lettrés, assez compétents et entourés de tout un personnel judiciaire, administratif, paroissial pour développer des activités agricoles, assurer des échanges commerciaux et présenter en 1789 une gestion très satisfaisante de la mense conventuelle. Les moines participent également avec les fidèles aux cérémonies religieuses et ils développent des rapports presque quotidiens avec le clergé séculier. L'église abbatiale est ouverte aux lai͏̈cs et les bénédictins s'efforcent d'encadrer la ferveur des fidèles. A Saint-Savin les moines ont une fonction chrétienne et moralisatrice : si saint Marin tient le plus de place dans la pratique religieuse locale, saint Savin occupe une place importante dans la prédication populaire.

Este trabajo de investigación presenta una propuesta: el diseño de la trocha carrozable que une tres caseríos: San Juan, San Francisco y Tunal, ubicados en el distrito y provincia de San Ignacio, departamento de Cajamarca. Se realizó este proyecto con la meta de minimizar los efectos negativos que genera la falta de comunicación por carencia de vías de acceso, en los ámbitos económico, cultural, de salud y educación. Se ha desarrollado una información teórica, así como la normativa vigente para este tipo de investigaciones, así mismo los estudios realizados para el diseño de la trocha. Posteriormente, se describe la metodología utilizada para este fin, se dan a conocer los resultados luego de haber realizado los procedimientos necesarios para el diseño de la trocha carrozable San Juan – San Francisco - Tunal. Y por último, en los capítulos cinco y seis se fundamenta el porqué de la elección de ciertos resultados y se da a conocer la solución del proyecto a través de las conclusiones. De hecho, este producto es top five en exportación en cuatro de cada cinco países, y es la exportación número uno en 60 de ellos. Originalmente concebido para la recreación y el ocio, hoy el turismo es mucho más que eso. Existen decenas de tipologías, objetivos y enfoques, junto con los más variados destinos, desde la punta del Everest hasta un Safari, desde un city-tour hasta un viaje al espacio. Previous issue date: 2013This work presents a formalism for modeling systems called Stochastic Automata Networks (SAN), SAN formalism aims to increase the abstraction’s level and provides a sophisticated alternative model to the tadicional formalism of Markov Chains (MC). SAN uses both Classical (CTA) and Generalized Tensor Algebra (GTA) to simplify the matrix of transitions between states of the model. Despite all models described with GTA having at least one equivalent model described using CTA, and that the solution of certain models based on CTA could be faster than the equivalent GTA based model, this dissertation proposes an algorithm for translating a model described in GTA into the equivalent model described in CTA. It is expected that some models described using functions (using GTA) could be solved more quickly or taking less memory through the solution of its CTA-converted model.
Este trabalho apresenta o formalismo para modelagem de sistemas chamado Redes de Autômatos Estocásticos (SAN). O formalismo SAN tem o objetivo de aumentar o nível de abstração e oferece uma alternativa de modelagem mais sofisticada do que a proporcionada pelas tradicionais Cadeias de Markov (MC). Este formalismo utiliza a álgebra tensorial clássica (CTA) e geralizada (GTA) para simplificar a matriz das transições entre os estados do modelo. Embora todos os modelos SAN descritos utilizando GTA possuam pelo menos um modelo equivalente descrito utilizando CTA, e que a solução de certos modelos utilizando CTA possa ser mais rápido que o modelo equivalente que utiliza GTA, este trabalho propõe um algoritmo para traduzir um modelo descrito em GTA para o modelo equivalente descrito em CTA. Espera-se com isto permitir que um modelo descrito utilizando funções (usando GTA) possa ser resolvido mais rapidamente ou ocupando menos memória através da solução de seu modelo convertido para CTA.

El proyecto que presento a continuación surge como respuesta a la necesidad de generar
infraestructura deportiva para el país, pensando en la reciente confirmación de Chile para la
organización de los juegos ODESUR 2014, esto sumado a la ya adjudicada Copa América
2015, lo cual pone al país en la ardua labor de generar la infraestructura necesaria capaz
de albergar estos grandes eventos deportivos de carácter internacional.
Al analizar la situación del país, nos encontramos con que Chile es una de las más
importantes economías a nivel Latinoamericano, pese a ello existe una gran brecha de
desigualdad entre el crecimiento económico y el progreso social, viéndose reflejado en la
falta de áreas verdes, espacios de recreación y cultura, áreas deportivas, etc.
En su ámbito deportivo, la Región Metropolitana cuenta con un promedio de 2,2m2/
habitantes, de infraestructura deportiva, mientras que los parámetros internacionales
establecen un mínimo de 4m2/habitantes (Chiledeportes – MINVU).
Lo mismo sucede con la cantidad de área verde por persona en la ciudad de Santiago,
la cual presenta un promedio de 4m2/habitantes mientras que la Organización Mundial
de la Salud establece un mínimo de 9m2/habitantes Debido a esto se hace importante
realizar eventos de esta magnitud, que permitan dar acceso a las oportunidades, por
un lado brindando espectáculos de calidad a sus habitantes, y por otro, generando una
infraestructura deportiva y de recreación que complemente a la precaria existente, con el
fin de obtener un mayor beneficio a través del fortalecimiento de la identidad y la cohesión
social de los sectores trabajar.

Así como es importante el desarrollo de la vivienda, de la educación, de la justicia, etc., es importante garantizar un mínimo de bienes públicos deportivos (equipamiento deportivo) como gestión creadora e instaladora de la CULTURA DEPORTIVA. “Una primera cuestión que surge como fundamental y además determinante en la orientación general, consiste en la definición de los énfasis y prioridades. Esto es imprescindible en países como el nuestro, en el que toda política pública, inexorablemente, enfrenta la fatídica fórmula de que las necesidades son inmensamente mayores que los recursos.”1 Es necesario invertir en equipamiento deportivo, tanto con fines competitivos como formativos y recreacionales, asegurando el acceso masivo a la práctica de actividades físicas de la población, como una herramienta más de justicia social con una incidencia fundamental en la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos. Así, se plantea como tesis central de este proyecto el dar énfasis y materializar las prioridades que revelan el aspecto social de la Política Nacional del Deporte, es decir, dirigir nuestra atención a lograr la masificación de la actividad física y deportiva entre la comunidad nacional. Esta masificación, esta “oportunidad para todos”, debe ir en paralelo a la promoción de una “cultura deportiva” a nivel país, capaz de reforzar ciertos valores sociales y personales: la sana competencia, la autodisciplina, el cuidado de la salud, el derecho a los tiempos de ocio, etc.

This collection of stories is based on the author’s experiences as a middle school teacher at an alternative campus in south Texas, in a district whose population was largely comprised of Mexican-American and low-income families. The Eagle School is based on a program that existed in the 1990s to address the special needs of “bubble” students, children who were failing in elementary school because of factors such as poverty, neglect, and violence at home. Students were selected for the program based on recommendations from their counselors, with the hope that the small campus of twelve teachers would provide its 150 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders with a safe haven, allowing them to focusing on their studies. The ultimate goals of the program were to prevent students from dropping out of school and to engage them in interdisciplinary projects that would advance them academically, preparing them to return to their appropriate grade levels in high school. Ms. Russel, a character based on the author, recounts stories of her efforts to help students at the Eagle School, as well as stories of her own friendships, aspirations, and disappointments off campus. Each story represents a distinct moment during the six years that she teaches at the Eagle School, and each focuses on a specific student or group of students whose conflicts complicate her own.

This thesis examines an approach to creating contemporary dance inspired by the three forms of dance - classical ballet, classical Thai dance and I-San dance - on which my own experience is based, I situate myself for this thesis , within both the academic and practical elements of this project, as researcher, practitioner and choreographer. This research through practice is structured through three dance performances. Each project has a specific set of research enquiries that respond to the key thesis questions - 'how to create the I-San body' and 'how to bring I-San body back to Thailand' - which form the overall focus of this PhD project. In each practice project, I employ the notion of contemporary dance from both the Western and Thai contexts to work with my existing dance experience. The outcome from each project is analysed through the theoretical frame work in terms of establishing the notion of I-San Body. The reader will be directed towards illustrative DVD footage of training and performance elements of the project at specific points throughout the thesis.

ArquitectoLa comuna de San Rosendo, localizada en la VIII del Bío Bío, nació como consecuencia del desarrollo del ferrocarril en Chile en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Gracias a su ubicación en el borde de los ríos Bío Bío y Laja, este pueblo se convirtió en un cruce estratégico entre el norte y el sur del país, pasando a ser una importante “capital ferroviaria”. Así el ferrocarril siempre fue el principal motor de desarrollo, económico, social y cultural de esta comuna. La problemática a la que responde este proyecto de título es el Patrimonio Industrial Ferroviario, específicamente el abandono y deterioro progresivo al que están expuestas las estructuras del Conjunto Ferroviario. El proyecto fue concebido bajo la idea de crear un Conjunto Financiero que albergaría oficinas y un banco en una manzana en el distrito de San Isidro. La solución fue crear un concepto que partió de una gran arca elipsoidal, que seccionada y girada permite la aparición de dos grandes unidades de edificios que forman un conjunto con una gran plaza central. Estas dos torres de 18 pisos elipsoidales, cóncavas e inclinadas, con 12 grados, generan una importancia urbana de gran magnitud, con una complejidad arquitectónica y constructiva.Tesis

Cette thèse a pour objet d'étudier les propriétés d'adhésion, statique et dynamique, entre deux bulles de savon. Nous avons réalisé un montage expérimental permettant de mettre au contact deux bulles de composition contrôlée. Dans un premier temps, nous observons et modélisons la déviation statique de l'angle de contact, mesuré par analyse d'images, par rapport à la valeur attendue de 120°. Nous nous concentrons ensuite sur la réponse du système à une excitation sinusoïdale. Des modules angulaires locaux sont définis à partir de l'angle dynamique de contact et de la déformation du rayon de contact et tracés en fonction de la fréquence. Le comportement viscoélastique obtenu est comparée aux modules d'élasticité des films de savon à l'aide d'un modèle microscopique. Les propriétés de la phase liquide sont modulées et l'effet des différents paramètres sur les propriétés de la double bulle est discuté. Enfin, le lien entre ces propriétés locales et la rhéologie macroscopique de mousse est abordé au travers d'une correction au modèle de Princen.

Teenagers psychological problems and turn for self – harm.

Aim of the study. To find out the psychological burden, experienced by teenagers, aged 15-16 and the reasons of bent for self-harm.
Methods. The was carried out an anonymous questionnaire. 480 teenagers, aged 15-16 from Kaunas, Klaipėda and Jurbarkas, took part in the research. We‘ve used for the research Lifestale and coping questionare, which was created in the Oxford University.
Microsoft Excel, SPSS 11,0 for Windows computer programs has been used to analyse the research data. Statistically reliable results are those, when p<0,05, P=95 percent.
Results. According to the research data, deliberately harm themselves 3,96 % of all questioned teenagers. This data just slightly differs from the other research data (from 1509 teenagers, aged 15-16, deliberately harm themselves, as the average, 6,3% of teenagers, Ystgaard M., Reiholdt P., Husby J. 2002). The main ways of teenagers self-harm are cutting, drinking medicine by huge, non-therapical doses, attempt to drown and jumping from a roof.
