This thesis deals with hypermobility and its rehabilitation. The first part addresses a brief description of the general issues and functional tests that are used to detect this handicap. Next part focuses on the specific types of rehabilitation, which are suitable for the dancers with a hypermobility syndrome. There are also the aids helping to strengthen ligaments and muscles surrounding the joints overloaded at the dance practice sessions and ensuring the correct function of musculoskeletal without a pain and ailment mentioned. The work also includes the specific exercises with tools that are intended as an orientation guide on how to cope with this syndrome and compensate its effects.

L'objectiu general d'aquesta tesi és valorar la utilitat del tractament de rehabilitació neuropsicològica en pacients esquizofrènics amb dèficits cognitius i predomini de la simptomatologia negativa. El programa utilitzat és l'anomenat Teràpia Integrada de l'Esquizofrènia (IPT, Integriertes Psychologisches Therapieprogramm) dissenyat pel grup de Brenner que disposa d'un manual protocol·litzat a més d'un model teòric susceptible d'estudi empíric. Els efectes de la rehabilitació són analitzats a tres àmbits diferents: funcions cognitives, funcionalisme cerebral mesurat a partir de SPECT i funcionament psicosocial. Per a la realització dels diferents estudis hem aplegat una mostra de 94 pacients diagnosticats d'esquizofrènia amb predomini de la simptomatologia negativa. D'aquests pacients 27 complien els criteris d'inclusió pel que fa a simptomatologia negativa i també el criteri qualitatiu de deterioració cognitiva que queda definit a l'estudi. Aquests pacients han estat sotmesos al tractament de rehabilitació neuropsicològica durant tres mesos. A una mostra de 10 pacients se'ls hi va estudiar amb mètodes de neuroimatge amb SPECT. Un grup de pacients amb predomini dels símptomes negatius però sense dèficit cognitiu han actuat com a control.
La part experimental consta de quatre estudis, tres dels quals ja han estat publicats i un està acceptat per publicació. En aquests estudis hem pogut demostrar que els dèficits cognitius s'associen a un pronòstic més perniciós: evolució més cronificada, nivell més baix d'adaptació general, estades més llargues d'hospitalització i una adherència més pobra al tractament farmacològic. Els resultats recolzen que el tractament de rehabilitació neuropsicològica és útil i produeix millories a les funcions prèviament deficitàries. Tal i com estableix el model de Brenner, els canvis a les funcions cognitives elementals (atenció i codificació) estan lligades als canvis a les funcions cognitives més superiors (recuperació i funció executiva). I el que és més important, la millora neuropsicològica està associada a una millora del funcionament psicosocial, concretament un augment de l'autonomia personal i del funcionament psicosocial general. Per altra banda el tractament de rehabilitació neuropsicològica produeix canvis en el flux sanguini cerebral frontal detectable mitjançant estudis d'SPECT realitzats en condicions de neuroactivació. Aquests canvis suposen una reducció de la hipofrontalitat que es deu a la millora del funcionament neuropsicològic.
Per tant l'estudi ha pogut confirmar les hipòtesis i es pot concloure que la rehabilitació neuropsicològica és una eina terapèutica que possibilita una millora del funcionament cognitiu, una reducció de l'hipofuncionalisme del flux cerebral frontal, un augment de l'autonomia personal i una millora del funcionament psicosocial als pacients esquizofrènics de pitjor pronòstic.

The theme of this work is the use of Tchai-ti not as it is known to public as one form of martial arts but to introduce its significancy when working with human breath, with its energy paths and distribution of human weight in order to prepare the dancer for a maximum performance while dancing.
The foundation is to learn the principles how to react to human impulses and to become aware of them. By doing that a dancer also realises the full potential of his or her body and the final result will also raise the quiality of any work out
and consequently the body wil be less worn out.
Important role plays also the psychic disposition of the dancer, which can be improved by relaxation techniques and massages.
The whole work can be divided into several stages or parts. When we deal with
Tchai - ti its history, religion and theory should be included and we should also
mention the exercises of čchi-kung which consist of massages basic or foundamental set of ralaxation exercises of J- tin-ting whose focus is on
streching and strengthing the muscles and ligaments of human body.

The rehabilitation of the former Jaselská barracks aims to create a place with a clear identity within the city context. A green axis connects the urban-planning elements – the city house and dwellings in the park, and unites the newly built structure. The work elaborates on the park dwellings, which are characterised by a low-rise structure whilst keeping the density of a city block. The subject of this thesis was to develop ideas about buildings in the former barracks set in Brno - Ponava. In the previous study, I designed urban system block development, which builds on the existing block structure of the environment and creates a lively mix of public, semi-public and private areas. The territory of the barracks is located between the streets and stall Štefánikova, among which is the difference in height of one floor - so I created a single-storey base, which I put into commercial space and underground parking. The base then grows a set of four houses - the street Štefánikova is oriented multi-functional building, which includes commerce, offices and apartments and offers residents a large common area balcony facing the courtyard. This house in volume creates a psychological barrier against noise and busy urban class and creating a peaceful environment inside the block. The three remaining houses are purely residential and the level of the courtyard are equipped with private atriums closable system. In the middle of the courtyard is a small park with mature trees and undeveloped corner serves as a children's playground.

Multifunctional building Jocelyn is set in earlier studies on the proposed urban site Jeselských barracks in Brno, bounded by streets Štefánikova, Staňkova and new streets stretching Roast. The concept of construction within the meaning of form and function is strictly subordinate to his place near the city center. Economically advantageous feature object representing housing, shops, cafes, restaurants, offices, underground parking. The building is divided vertically into two zones: commercial and residential. The dominant number twelve floors is derived from a corner position of the object. Hanging the height of the building directing urban streets rasterization, creating public spaces of different levels. The material object is perforated for convenient access, views and culture connected with the proposed use of the adjacent park. The building is designed as a monolithic skeleton on bored piles with a facade of facework. Ceiling structure consists of a monolithic reinforced concrete slab ceiling with integrated cooling and heating of rooms tempered by the reinforced concrete core.

Revitalization of the former Jaselské barracks located in Brno in the area between Staňkova and Štefanikova street needs brand new project of urban structure and its functional scheme.New urban project of structure proceeds from pluses of block housing project and town houses. On the contrary it tries to eliminate its own minuses. The functional concept consists mainly of living function. This function is completed with daily life services. Because of bad noisy enviroment with public transport along Staňkova street it was necessary to replace block of flats with house for administrative and seniors or young couples. The main concept of this project is the idea to return to the living in communities. It tries to support social comunication and public life. And thus returning the desappearing local identity of the place. Project follows the aims of spacial planning policy in Brno by designing the leisure time centre for youth and public. That is the pivotal project of diploma thesis.

Nowadays we are building 2 main typologies of dwelling, residential appartment buildings and family houses. The residential appartment buildings are mostly established in the city center whereas family houses on the green field outside the town. Both typologies have both advantages and disadvantages. The important factors influencing decisions whether to choose the family house or the appartment living are e.g. finance, distance from working place and facilities, greenery in the surrounding, need of the individual vehicular traffic, safety for childrens, etc. Building of family housing is accompanied by the globe problem which is urban sprawl. Landscape is being destroyed at the expense of disfunctional unurban satelite developments. The project is focused on a solution for this problem by combining these two different typologies, picking the advantages and putting them together into the functional formula.

The urban design for an area of former barracks Jaselská kasárna in Brno is based on an effort to create sustainable town structure, which allows a free movement of inhabitants through the area. The lot is well connected to the city centre and has a good accessibility to public transportation. More over it is situated in a rather quiet part of Brno. Designed houses are oriented parallel to Štefánikova and Staňkova street. The design is defined by two types of public space – square and park. Nursing home for elderly is situated on their edge. The residents of the home have the opportunity to visit both public spaces. Shops and services are within the walking distance. Due to its location in the center of the new dwelling resort, the elderly stay a part of society and they will not feel useless.

In this project I will explore food waste and how we can study and partake in nature’s ecosystem, in our daily lives, using a playful approach. One-third of all food produced in the world is wasted. Our systems encourage consumeristic behaviours and wastefulness, they encourage exponential growth in preference to circularity. Human disconnection to nature’s ecosystems is resulting in depleting, eroding and polluted soils. Soil is the foundation of life, humans would not exist without it. Our food exists because of soil and we obtain energy from the food we eat - unfortunately, the nutrients in our food are declining due to intensive industrial farming. Compost enhances the soil, nourishes the life within it. We can think of nutrients as our source of energy. This flow of energy in nature goes from soils to plants, to animals, fungi, microorganisms, bacteria and back to its origin - the soil. Organic matter is fundamental to create viable habitat and preserve water in the soil. Why are not all of us composting? How can composting be involved in our everyday life? My ambition is to make a playful and low tech, human-powered composting machine. Where children can collaborate with older generations, together, learning how to turn their food waste to compost, while playing. With low tech machines run by human energy, I implement movements and play to evoke curiosity. While having fun I want to change our thoughts of waste to valuable resources.

Luego de ocurrido el terremoto en Febrero del año 2010 me uní rápidamente al grupo
de trabajo de Yungay como arquitecta y me dediqué al catastro de daños y evaluación
de viviendas en el Barrio Yungay. Así, es que conozco la situación del inmueble
ubicado en la esquina norponiente de las calles Portales y Libertad. UN INMUEBLE
FISCAL ABANDONADO Y DETERIORADO QUE ES HABITADO POR 53 PERSONAS EN
SITUACIÓN OCUPA, EN SU MAYORÍA INMIGRANTES.
Este inmueble se encuentra ocupado en sus dos niveles por dieciocho familias,
desde aproximadamente tres años, que viven en condiciones precarias de salubridad
y hacinamiento. Las características funcionales de la vivienda no cumplen con las
condiciones mínimas para absorber dicha ocupación, no cuenta con los servicios sanitarios
suficientes ni adecuados, junto con que el estado general de mantención de la propiedad
es deficiente y más aún después del terremoto del año recién pasado. En la puerta del
inmueble hay un rayado con spray que dice: “peruanos váyanse a su país”. Continuo
al inmueble, sitios eriazos y construcciones deterioradas. El inmueble y su entorno me
parecieron un reflejo de la problemática que aqueja a la recientemente declarada Zona
Típica (ZT) Barrio Yungay, Brasil y alrededores. Problemática que quise abordar para esta
ocasión. Problemática que en este proyecto de título se revierte en OPORTUNIDAD, DE
ACTUALIZACIÓN URBANA A PARTIR DE LA INTEGRACIÓN SOCIAL. El ejercicio de
realizar un proyecto de título invita a desarrollar motivaciones personales con propósitos
ideológicos en base a problemáticas reales. En este sentido, este proyecto me permite
proponer una actualización de una parte de un barrio patrimonial deteriorado (una manzana)
a partir de la integración de sus habitantes y del desarrollo de su cultura. Desde esta
perspectiva, el proyecto invita a repensar la ciudad y a entender la arquitectura de manera
integral, no como piezas objetuales e individuales conformes a la rentabilidad de lo que se
construye, si no que acorde al territorio y sus habitantes.

The objective of the thesis is to develop an example of research methodology about The Urban Form, presenting a new interpretation of the place on Regomir, located in the city of Barcelona. I believe this analysis exercise is fundamental to the Rehabilitation of Urban Forms and Architecture in general.
Prior to the development of the practical part of the work specified in the case of Regomir, the thesis sets forth a discourse that frames the subject of Rehabilitation from the theoretical angle.
In the first chapter, the section for the bibliographical comments describes the entirety of situations that have played a role in shaping the history of the rehabilitation of architecture in the last century, formalising the background in order to have a broader vision available for current reality. To finish, the bibliographical comments contain the entirety of data published that are part of the secondary documentation collection used in my subsequent research about the specific case of Regomir.
The second chapter describes the predisposition, training and planning of architecture as a veritable tool for protecting our heritage, reaching an in-depth understanding the Rehabilitation as a Planning Attitude.
The objective of the third chapter of the thesis, The Case of Regomir, is to develop a concrete case for the analysis of Urban Form, providing an overall vision of the strategies of the method. This exercise allows you to draw closer to the formal, constructive and functional logic of the Urban Form of a place that has been known for centuries as El Regomir, located in the municipality of the city of Barcelona, currently coinciding with the area of this city where the carrer del Regomir is located. The current Carrer del Regomir is located on the southern side of the Gothic neighbourhood of the historic centre, starting at the Plaza of Regomir and ending at Carrer Ample.
The concrete research subject arose from an interest towards an ancient and long-standing building located on a section of the street with the same name, shaping a large part of its morphology, currently identified with the numbers 11-19 on this street. The work proposes to carry out a search arising around a specific architectural work, but tightly linked to the sector it is part of, with the text and context as two intentions in themselves, forming part of a single process and a single conceptual unit.
The concrete study of this place shall provide data about the customs, the economy, the needs, the construction and the architecture of the city in its training process. The study of El Regomir is presented as a methodological example in order to understand professional attitudes about rehabilitation, based on a necessary understanding prior to all Rehabilitation Projects, showing the search strategies that propitiate a project that is in dialogue with its environment.
The methodology used can be extrapolated in order to research and learn about other fragments of the city that as of today have yet to be studies. Therefore, the efforts taken in the sector of El Regomir will help to understand the history of the Urban Forms of Barcelona, setting forth the strategies to be used for the study of the Catalan Urban Form in general.
The value -but more general than I consider in the presentation of this work- is to transmit an attitude and a learning method in the field of rehabilitation, which is applicable to any level of architecture, from the seemingly simplest architecture to the most complex and renowned. This document develops a fragment of the Urban Form of Barcelona, where there will be an opportunity to work with extremely diverse documentation, a fact that comprehensively illustrates the possibility of searching for the method. All architects, in every rehabilitation project that they are appointed to, must know how to access all possible existing documentation and determine the objectives and the limits of their search.
In my opinion, the true value of the thesis written lies in this most general appreciation.

Encara que majoritàriament la rehabilitació després d’una artroplàstia total de genoll es duu a terme a l’ambulatori o a l’hospital, en els ultims anys, diferents estudis suggereixen que la rehabilitació domiciliària pot representar una alternativa possible a aquesta pràctica clinica habitual. D’aquesta manera, es posa de manifest un interès creixent per fer tractaments de rehabilitació fora de les institucions hospitalàries o ambulatòries convencionals.
Malgrat tot, el seu cost-efectivitat comparatiu encara no és del tot conegut, tant pel que fa a l’impacte econòmic com al model asistencial més idoni per a la seva implementació.
Per tot això, en aquesta tesi s’analitza si l’atenció domiciliària de rehabilitació en pacients aguts post hospitalització per artroplàstia total de genoll permet una major efectivitat i una bona resposta clínica en termes de reducció de dependència, rigidesa, dolor i millora de la
seva capacitat funcional, aixi com una major eficiència amb un estalvi significatiu de costos.

Thesis (LLM) -- University of Limpopo, 2012The study focuses on rehabilitation, since absence of proper rehabilitation process result in indelible damage to the environment. South Africa, like many other countries, is faced with many environmental problems caused by mining. These problems are particularly caused by, inter alia, abandoned mining areas without rehabilitation, inadequate environmental impact assessment after closure, inadequate financial provision for rehabilitation, and lack of monitoring and aftercare system after post mine closure. The study found that many Companies ignore laws governing prospecting, extraction and rehabilitation. The main purpose of this research is to investigate and recommend guidelines in the rehabilitation process so as to instil respect for the environment. The study therefore recommended strict legislation relating to environmental protection against mining.

The aim of the assignment was to rehabilitate the area of the Brno embankment of the river Svitava and the nearby surroundings of the river. This is the modification of the river's seashore, the modification of public spaces and the completion of individual objects. The solved territory is defined in the east and north of Cejl streets, on the east of the Svitava river and on the south by Tkalcovska street. The principles of the proposal are based on the necessary changes to the territory. The biggest problem of the area is the area backups for the hypermarket parking lot and the urbanistically incoherent structure of the courtyards and the poorly functioning waterfront. The proposal focuses on making the river accessible and bringing water closer to people. On the waterfront the bicycle path is used not only by cyclists. The former hypermarket is converted into a shopping mall and the ground floor of the seafront is made up of shops, services, cafes and restaurants. For humans, a river was available that could touch water. For relaxation and recreation, the terraces are provided. Better permeability also offers the river itself. By modifying the footbridge and delivering a new footbridge in the middle part, pedicists and cyclists can better cross the river. The park and the reclamation of planted trees have been modified. The Svitavy Drive in the section of the park was also accessible by foot. The siding was preserved to a certain extent in order to be able to prepare a wagon with a café or other possibilities of the Svitava festival under the steam. The construction of new houses increases the attractiveness of the area itself and offers both flats overlooking the river with the dominant of the church as well as services in the workshops of the individual houses. Cejl street has a green and a plumbing and a missing pit. Transparency for people is from the weft loom on the waterfront through the park, business or residential street.Residential homes have ma

The proposed solution of the project, built on the Svitava river in Zábrdovice, presents new open space that will revive the entire area along the river. This urban design comes with a proposal that defines the embankment as an attractive space that should be perceived as a connecting point.

The theme of the diploma thesis "Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of the Brno rivers and their surroundings" is creating an urban proposal in Brno, Zábrdovice, on the eastern waterfront of the Svitava river. The intention is to use the potential of the area and create the possibility of lucrative housing by river with a commercial ground floor, services, leisure time park with a multifunctional playground and easy direct access to the Svitava river. The studied location, has an area of 6.32 hectares andis defined mainly by the Zábrdovická Street and the Svitava River near the former Premonstratensian Monastery, which now serves as a Military Hospital. At present, the location has mainly low-floor industrial buildings with storage and expedition functions. The proposed buildings relate to existing buildings on the east and west banks of the Svitava River. They have the form of four to six storey blocks, which are characteristic for this area. The park connects to the revitalized eastern embankment of the river at the site of a new footbridgethat connects both rive sides and stairs. They provide space formeetings and relaxation, but also serve as a flood control in the event of a water inflow. Along the Svitava River there is a sidewalk with street alleyways and access to the river.

The theme of the work is revitalisation of the Brno rivers, specifically the river Svitava. The main idea of the work is the understanding the river as a city-building element, as a place of potential that every city should fully utilize. People like to spend their free time at the water and such a space should satisfy their needs. The river flows smoothly throught the city, and people should be able to move freely around it. In the ideal case, it should be a green path across urban area. The solved territory is situated in the Brno-Zábrdovice district, which hasn´t ideal reputation. Its image is shaped by, among others, industrial areas which are quite often derelict. My task was to correctly distribute one of these sites, which is located near the Zábrdovice Monastery. The solved territory is currently a non-coherent and inconsistent structure that does not support the image of the site. The river is completely supressed at this point and the movement around it is very limited. In my design I tried to create a place that would offer a lot of activities through the day. I have modified the functions I have in the territory and supported by my proposal to form a working entity together. In such a territory will meet people, who work or live here, who are using the services or come to sport or spend their free time in the pleasant environment of Svitava river.

Nowadays, namely at the beginning of the third millennium, every individual is entitled to free choice of occupation and acquisition of the means to satisfy his/her necessaries of life. Even the handicapped people have the same rights as the other citizens and they therefore have not only the right to a special (adapted, modified) conditions of work, but also to assistance in the preparation for employment. Work rehabilitation serves to this purpose. In particular the individual plan of work rehabilitation is designed for the clients {--} handicapped persons. The objective of my work was to describe the specific steps and procedures leading to integration of physically disadvantaged persons within the open labour market, in particular to describe the existing methods enabling the evaluation of the current health potential of the handicapped client as a precondition of integration on the labour market. The determination of qualitative research was the key point of the work. I focused in my work on the research in the region of Chomutov and Žatec, carried out from September 2008 till December 2008 in Chomutov. The persons involved in the project are long-term unemployed job applicants with a certain size of disability.

It is the aim of rehabilitation to improve or restore those areas following personal injury or illness. One of the various professional disciplines contributing to the rehabilitation process is Occcupational Therapy. The main aim of the thesis is to clarify the role of Occupational Therapy in the area of elderly rehabilitation. It also aims to incorporate the World Health Organisation{\crq}s International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) into clinical work of Occupational Therapy and to find its practical use in this discipline.

The theoretical part describes the nature and meaning of managerial changes in general, reviews various types of changes, discusses what causes these changes and how they affect their surroundings, and describes the key steps and models for effective handling of these managerial changes. The second part deals with problems of introducing electronic documentation and information systems in a special case of the Czech Republic. The empirical part focuses on implementation of information system in the rehabilitation institute Kladruby. Using qualitative research methods a sequence of interviews was carried out with the staff of the rehabilitation department. The theoretical part concentrated on presentation of suitable rehabilitation methods and techniques during stay in a traumatologic department, problems of a hospitalized senior, institutional provision of subsequent rehabilitation in available medical facilities, compensation aids and fall prevention. I have performed the survey on grounds of direct hidden observation, interview and experiment {--} use of a sign language in ergotherapy. Title: The importance of myofeedback rehabilitation in faecal incontinence Introduction: Faecal incontinence is a serious symptom significantly worsening quality of life. Following results of international studies myofeedback has been considered an effective option of conservative treatment of this disease. Despite that it has so far been used at just a few centres in the Czech Republic. Purpose: The main purpose of this thesis was to assess the relevance of myofeedback as part of recovery therapy. Other objectives included assessment of use of a vaginal electrode instead of an anal one and comparison of the result correlations between examination by anal manometry, surface EMG and subjective improvement of continence for the patients. Methods: The research project included 8 females. The objective method of assessment of effects of the treatment involved examination of pelvis bottom muscles with the help of anorectal manometry and surface EMG. Success of the therapy was evaluated through the St Marks incontinence score and by the test population themselves filling out a quality of life questionnaire. M.Cur. (Intensive General Nursing)It appears that the emotions of patients in.the process of undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery have an influence on the rate of mortality. Patients that must undergo this surgery often find themselves in a short term dependent position. The purpose of this study is to determine if the life-style functioning of the patients can be improved by means of a pre-operative rehabilitative educational programme introduced by the professional nurse. A conceptual framework of reference was compiled after completion of the literature review. This served as the preliminary structure of the pre-operative educational programme. The programme consists of three three components, viz. an education booklet, an educational evaluating model and the educationist. A quasi-experimental study was performed on 4 groups (2 experimental groups and 2 control groups) to determine the effect of the structured pre-operative educational programme on the following three factors: - satisfaction with self, others and life; -avoidance of hope threats and -anticipation of a future. From these factors three null hypotheses were formed. An analysis of the data indicated a significant difference between the groups that followed the programme and the groups that did not follow the programme. The null hypotheses were thereafter rejected. The primary recommendation of the study is that all patients in the process of undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery should follow a pre-operative educational programme. This programme has a positive influence on the life-style functioning of the patient and will thus promote the process of rehabilitation.

This thesis shows some methods which are used in an ergodiagnostic review. It also shows the legal requirements for work rehabilitation and useful tools to describe jobs. This thesis focuses on the cooperation between the rehabilitation centre in Pardubice{\crq}s regional hospital and the local job centre. The recommendations from the final report of the ergodiagnostic examination are compared with the job titles of patients who underwent the ergodiagnostic examination during 2006. The patients can see the benefits of the ergodiagnostic examination and have an awareness of their own work opportunities. The job centre expects the ergodiagnostic examination to show a detailed outline of the work potential of each client and to suggest the next steps. For example, these could be the confirmation or exclusion of proposed occupations, proposed possible future positions, recommendations for professional re-qualification or eventually for filing for a disability pension. The examination should present the physical and psychical tolerances of each client and draw attention to the circumstances and knowledge which has been gained through observation during the examination, such as goodwill, work motivation, communication, punctuality and so on. Afterwards, this situation is compared to the situation and experiences of the job centre in České Budějovice.

Title: The use of biofeedback in physical therapy Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to summarize the accessible literary sources mapping the area of use of biofeedback in physical therapy and forms of its use. Furthermore, it aims to make a research and evaluate the effect of biofeedback therapy of woman urinary incontinence and neurofeedback therapy with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD syndrome). Methods: This thesis is a descriptive analysis based on a literature review. The first part includes theoretical background dealing with the description, principle of operation and the possibilities of influence the therapy using biofeedback. The next chapter focuses on different areas of use of biofeedback in physical therapy and identifies the different forms of use. Subsequent research contains a presentation of studies, their comparison and critically evaluation of the effect of therapy using biofeedback for selected diagnoses. Results: Based on 69 found studies were clearly mapped using various forms of biofeedback in physical therapy. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate, which of the available therapies for tinnitus is mostly sought by patients. The work presents insights of this phenomenon through its classification, provided aetiology and mainly focuses on possibilities of available therapies. Henceforth, the chapter with focus on the impact of tinnitus on the daily life of people suffering from tinnitus is one of the core chapters of this thesis. The practical part evaluates the already realised qualitative and quantitative research. Further, the quantitative method used is the questionnaire construction. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a promising therapeutic method which allows non-invasive reduction of schizophrenia symptoms. The main imperfection of this technique had been the impossibility of precise targeting of the rTMS coil at the given cortical area. This can be achieved by using neuroimaging techniques and stereotactic neuronavigation, which enables to target the coil with a high degree of anatomic accuracy. The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between excitability of motor and visual cortex. Using neuronavigated single-pulse (SP) and paired-pulse (PP) transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS, Magstim Rapid) over right visual cortex, the phosphene thresholds were measured in 11 subjects. Motor threshold (MT) was identified by using standard methodology. In all subjects the phosphenes were induced by both SP (median = 48 %, IQR = 44,5-52,0) and PP (median = 44 %, IQR=39,5- 48,0) TMS. PP phosphene thresholds were lower than SP thresholds (U = 28,0, p ≤ 0,05). We found the positive correlation between MT and SP phosphene threshold (r = 0,597, p ≤ 0,05) but not for MT and PP. Název: The utilization of the Feldenkrais method in shoulder rehabilitation Objectives: This thesis aims to investigate whether exercise with elements of the Feldenkrais method can positively influence the movement function in the cervicobrachial girdle area. Specifically, the extent of movement of the shoulder joint and cervical spine, movement pattern of shoulder abduction, overall posture and subjective body perception were tested. Method: It is qualitative-quantitative research in the form of quasi-experiment. Five probands, four women and one man, aged 26-68 years, underwent this research. The intervention consisted of six thirty-minute lessons that were conducted twice a week and focused on the shoulder and neck area. The data were obtained by pre-test and post-test, which included: evaluation of body posture by aspect, range of motion of the shoulder joint and cervical spine (goniometry) and movement stereotypes. The subjective feelings of the proband were obtained by using a survey. Results: All probands improved the mobility of the shoulder joint and cervical spine. Using the dogs for the therapeutic purposes is not novelty anyway. Connection to the dog is, vice versa, one of the strongest fixations in the human society. It is know, that many people feel absence of somebody, who they could have a good chat from their joys and troubles of life or only the closeness of some living creature who would love them. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on explanation of names as zootherapy, canistherapy and recovering actions. One chapter of this part is dedicated the introduction on the Training Centre of Canistherapy called Hafík, o.s. (non-profit civic association). Further, the author concerns explanation of issues with integration and inclusion. The last part of the theoretical section is focused on explanation of the term social skill. Aim of the practical part of thesis is based on describing of researching methods and one is own results of research work. Researching aim of it was describing of the change in the social sphere and social skills of children from the intact society in a course of stay action realization with focus on canistherapy. For realization of the researching part of thesis author chose qualitative way of research. For collection of dates the method of taking part was used. In practice, it was long-termed and systematical observation of children from the intact society directly during their stay action focused on canistherapy. The second used method for collection of the dates was depth interview with the children from the intact society, who took part in the stay action focused on canistherapy. During this interview children were inquired individually in advance prepared, open questions, concerning, above all, their opinion about the handicapped friends, who took part in this stay action together with them. The last method used for collection of the dates in my thesis is the method of structural examination, which was used with the parents of children from the intact society, who took part in the stay action focused on canistherapy. After its ending, among the parents of children, there was realized examination, endeavouring for opinion of them: influence of this stay action to their child. As complementary dates resource, there was used the method of photo documentation. The research was under way in the period from July to September 2012 with the children from intact society, who where participants of the stay action focused on canistherapy and their parents. Camp was arranged with the Training Centre of Canistherapy called Hafík, o.s. (non-profit civic association). Whole of a piece 12 respondents both males and females from the row of the children from intact society took part in this stay action together with 6 parents of them. Results of the researching proved forth coming changes in the social sphere and social skills of the intact children during their stay action focused on canistherapy. The children improved their communication, learnt to establish and keep contact with new people. They became more self-confident, independent and self-sufficient. Further, the children, thanks to the presence of handicapped one´s, have learnt both the correct access to them and the forms of manners with them. At the same time they have got new knowledge about some individual types of disabilities. During the program with present dogs children gained couples of knowledge and skills, concerning with behavior, care and training the dogs. They learnt, how safely and in a responsible way entry to this four-footed friends. Author believes results of her thesis could serve as material for canistherapy in practice and for canistherapy on scientific, researching and educational level too.

For my thesis I chose a topic of social rehabilitation of clients of Rehabilitation Center Kladruby. An aim of this work, was to find which opportunities of social rehabilition with a focus on vocational rehabilitation the clients of the Rehabilitation Center Kladruby have and what are their views ot this issue. I also wanted to determine whether the clients after social rehabilitation in RC Kladruby successfully involve to the labor market, or to point out the aspects that limit the clients to return to the labor market. To obtain the necessary data, I chose a qualitative form of application of questioning techniques. Data collection was by semi-controlled interviews with clients of RC Kladruby. Out of 175 clients with altered health status dignosed at RC Kladruby for the purpose of vacational rehabilitation, 9 is sucdessfully involved in the labor market.

The theoretical part of the thesis offers a comprehensive view on the issue of therapeutic gardens and hortitherapy. It addresses the development of therapeutic gardens in Slovakia and abroad, and defines their basic types. Therapeutic gardens for child patients represent the core of the work. Drawing from bibliographical sources, the thesis defines construction principles for these gardens. The methodology contains a detailed analysis of the current state of the model object in graphical and text form. The author presents a comprehensive proposal for the solution of an area of the model object and related rehabilitation garden for a child patient with cerebral palsy which is contained in the detailed examination of the idea. The proposal is expressed in floor plan, sections and spatial display. The proposed solution is an outcome of the use of gardens for the construction of therapeutic gardens that draws from the author's own design experience and medical advice by doctors specialising in physiotherapy and balneology. The proposal presents a space for social and physical rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy. It utilises the potential of the area where the model object is based.
