Mosquitoes are the most critical group of insects in the context of public health, since they transmit key parasites and pathogens, causing millions of deaths annually. Aedes albopictus is an important invasive mosquito vector of dengue fever across urban and semiurban areas of India. In this study, we biofabricated silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the Fimbristylis miliacea aqueous leaf extract (Fm-ALE) as reducing and stabilizing agent. The synthesis of Fm-AgNPs was confirmed by the excitation of surface plasmon resonance and orange-brown color using ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectrophotometry. High-resolution scanning electron microscopic (HR-SEM) and transmission electron microscopic (TEM) showed the clustered (size 0.5 μm) and quasi-spherical structures of Fm-AgNPs. The formation of AgNPs has been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy investigated the identity of secondary metabolites, which may act as Fm-AgNP capping agents. These results propose that AgNPs synthesized provided from those Fm-ALE have the high sources to be improved into the most suitable materials useful for protecting and killing the invasive mosquito vector, Ae. albopictus populations. The acute toxicity of Fm-ALE synthesized Ag NPs, and a combined treatment testing blends of mosquito vector was evaluated against I, II, III, and IV instar larva’s (ILs) of Ae. albopictus. The LC50 values of Fm-ALE (174.39 ppm I-ILs, 214.40 ppm II-ILs, 232.38 ppm III-ILs, and 251.62 ppm IV-ILs) and Fm-AgNPs synthesized were 23.78 ppm I-ILs; 27.88 ppm II-ILs; 31.47 ppm III-ILs; 36.68 ppm IV-ILs, respectively. Likewise, Fm-AgNP synthesis was more toxic than ALE in the invasive mosquito vector and recorded from UV-vis spectrum, FTIR, TEM, and XRD analysis. These results propose that AgNPs synthesized provided from those Fm-ALE have the high sources to be improved into the most suitable materials useful for protecting and killing the invasive mosquito vector, Ae. albopictus populations.

Chociaż spółka partnerska jest spółką osobową, to można w niej powołać zarząd na mocy art. 97 § 1 k.s.h. Od kilkunastu lat toczy się spór, czym taki zarząd jest - występują w tej kwestii cztery poglądy. Przedstawiciele pierwszego poglądu wskazują, że członkowie zarządu to przedstawiciele ustawowi spółki partnerskiej. Propagatorzy drugiego poglądu przyjmują, że członkowie zarządu są przedstawicielami statutowymi, ale koncepcja ta jest raczej mniejszościowa. Zwolennicy trzeciej teorii przyjmują z kolei, że zarząd jest organem, tak jak chociażby zarząd w spółce z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, a czwarty – raczej dominujący w doktrynie – wskazuje, że jest quasi-organem. Najpopularniejsze są dwa ostatnie poglądy, jednak to teoria o quasi-organie jest popierana przez większość znawców prawa handlowego. Kompozycyjna kategoria opisu i szerzej rozumianej opisowości w dramacie pozostawała zawsze na marginesie dyskursu teoretycznoliterackiego. Tymczasem przejawiające się w nim modele deskrypcji, w związku z jego docelowym scenicznym przeznaczeniem, nie tylko wykazują się bogactwem artykulacji, ale także stanowią element sine qua non konstytuowania rzeczywistości przedstawionej. Obejmuje ona trzy modele przestrzenne: przestrzeń sceniczną, przysceniczną (przyległą) i relacjonowaną. Najbardziej typowa dla dramatu okazuje się forma opisu bezpośredniego zawarta bądź w didaskaliach, bądź w tekście głównym. Istotną rolę w kreowaniu prezentowanego świata odgrywa jednak także zawarty w wypowiedziach postaci, rozproszony opis pośredni (quasi-opis) czy ponadjęzykowa już opisowość realizowana z wyłączeniem semantyki słowa.

Artykuł przedstawia onomastyczno-kognitywne studium heortonimów (nazw świąt) jakospecyficznych jednostek chrematonimicznych, które funkcjonując na zasadzie ideonimówidentyfikujących inicjatywy socjo-kulturowe, przenoszą kontekstualne i konceptualnetreści odnoszone do obiektu nominacji, tj. kodowany przez nie przekaz semantyczny.Proponowane jest ujęcie klasyfikujące heortonimy jako nazwy cyklicznych lub rzadziejokazjonalnych wydarzeń, które upamiętniają lub zwracają uwagę na kontekstualizowanąideę z kręgu kultury niematerialnej. Są to monorematyczne bądź, częściej, polirematycznepropria, służące do konceptualizacji świąt motywowanych religijnie oraz podobnie kwalifikowanychdedykacji dni w kalendarzu, inspirowanych kulturą świecką lub parareligijną.Stąd wyodrębnienie „heortonimii właściwej”, wchodzącej w zakres onimi religijnej oraz„quasi-heortonimii”, której obiekty funkcjonują w komunikacji na zasadzie asocjatywnegoprzywołania wzorowanego na formule religijnej i modelu kampanii społecznych. Studium ma też wartość dodaną w postaci opinii onomastyczno--terminologicznej dotyczącej definicji i zakresu heortonimii oraz zestawienia heortonimiiwłaściwej i quasi-heortonimii z podobnie funkcjonującymi strukturami chrematonimiiideacyjnej oraz chrononimii.

Supera, który łączy rozwój zawodowy człowieka z czynnikami roli i czynnikami sytuacyjnymi. W przeprowadzonych badaniach w paradygmacie jakościowym z wykorzystaniem metody studium indywidualnego przypadku (technika wywiadu quasi biograficznego) przedmiotem analiz uczyniono przebieg doświadczeń zawodowych młodych dorosłych łodzian, osiągających demograficzną dorosłość w roku akcesji Polski do UE, realizujących role zawodowe w warunkach rozwoju społeczeństwa rynkowego w Polsce przełomu wieków. Przeprowadzone analizy wskazują, że kariery zawodowe łódzkich trzydziestolatków są karierami poziomymi i w głąb, zróżnicowanymi według płci i poziomu wykształcenia oraz sytuacji w rodzinach pochodzenia na etapie wzrastania bohaterów biografii, ale mają też cechy wspólne. Ścieżki zawodowe badanych obejmują w wielość miejsc pracy i stanowisk, na ogół niestabilnych i niepewnych.

Współczesna geografia społeczna ujmowana w perspektywie globalnej rozwija się bardzo dynamicznie jako nauka tworząca i wykorzystująca różne paradygmaty, teorie, koncepcje oraz metody badań. Jej interdyscyplinarność z jednej strony oraz złożoność współczesnych mikroświatów z drugiej nie tylko pozwala, ale wręcz zmusza badacza do wykorzystania (często triangulacyjnego) metod badań społecznych: ilościowych i jakościowych. Choćby krótki przegląd referatów zgłaszanych do czołowych konferencji anglo-amerykańskiego obszaru nauki uświadamia, że tak dzieje się w rzeczywistości. Jednak polska geografia społeczna bardzo konserwatywnie odnosi się do artykułowania nowych paradygmatów, podejść i triangulacji metod. Niejako z tych powodów autorzy opracowania proponują podjąć dyskusję nad zastosowaniem w geografii społecznej metod związanych z eksperymentem. Zasadniczą osią narracji są pytania o obszary, w których eksperyment/quasi-eksperyment w geografii społecznej może być stosowany oraz o specyfikę i jego uwarunkowania w tej dyscyplinie.

Celem głównym opracowania była ocena zmian czynników produkcji, w gospodarstwach warzywniczych, a także określenie ich produkcyjności. Do badań wyodrębniono gospodarstwa warzywnicze, które uczestniczyły w systemie rachunkowości rolnej FADN. Wyniki badań wskazały, iż gospodarstwa prowadzące produkcję polową dysponowały większymi zasobami ziemi i mniejszymi pracy, ale dwukrotnie większym majątkiem charakteryzowały się gospodarstwa uprawiające warzywa pod osłonami. Kapitał zastępuje czynnik ziemi, a produkcja nabiera charakteru quasi-przemysłowego. Przy dwukrotnie mniejszej powierzchni, około 50% większych nakładach pracy i dwukrotnie wyższej wartości majątku gospodarstwa prowadzące uprawy pod osłonami uzyskiwały trzykrotnie większą wartość produkcji. W gospodarstwach z uprawą polową warzyw wartość produkcji była silnie związana z powiększaniem zasobów wszystkich podstawowych czynników produkcji. Nie można wskazać przeważającego znaczenia jednego z nich. Powiększanie obszaru gospodarstwa związane było ze zwiększaniem zasobów pracy i powiększaniem majątku. Ważnym ustaleniem jest to, że wraz ze wzrostem zasobów zwiększała się wydajność pracy. W gospodarstwach uprawiających warzywa pod osłonami nie zaobserwowano wzrostu wydajności pracy wraz ze wzrostem wielkości gospodarstwa.

the quasi-static problem is discussed. The equations of the incremental theory of plasticity are used to describe fast deformation. The numerical simulation method is implemented based on the use of the Arbitrary Lagrange-Euler (ALE) approach, in which the sequence of boundary value problems in the current configuration of the solid is solved using the Finite Element Method. An axisymmetric finite element of a triangular cross-section was used for modeling. The main system of equations is presented, which, when using the Finite Element Method, describes the deformation of axisymmetric bodies in the current configuration. At each stage of the calculation in the current configuration, the initial problem is solved numerically using the finite difference method. When the limiting value of the strain tensor components is reached, according to the ALE algorithm, the finite element model is rebuilt with the implementation of new boundary conditions. To build a computational model, the RD program was used, in which a two-dimensional model of a section of an axisymmetric body is surrounded by a mesh of special elements. A presented approach for the implementation of the specified boundary conditions of an axisymmetric body in finite element modeling is discussed. Calculations of irreversible deformation were carried out in a program developed on the basis of using the FEM Creep software package in the case of finite strains. Comparison of the numerical simulation data with the experimental results of other authors, obtained in the investigations of the explosive loading of aluminum rings set on a sphere, is presented. The experimental data are processed and the constants included in the constitutive equation, using the hardening law, are determined. Satisfactory agreement between the calculated and experimentally obtained values of the radial strain of the rings at different times is shown.

Rozróżnienie na to, co publiczne i to, co prywatne, ma kluczowe znaczenie dla szkolnictwa wyższego. Jednak nie ma powszechnej zgody co do samej istoty „tego, co publiczne”. Na gruncie neoklasycznej teorii ekonomicznej Paul Samuelson odróżnia dobra nierynkowe (publiczne), które nie mogą być wytwarzane dla zysku, od działań rynkowych (prywatnych). To rozróżnienie stanowi podstawę ustalania minimalnego niezbędnego poziomu publicznych wydatków. Nie jest jednak w stanie objąć dóbr kolektywnych oraz składników normatywnych. W teorii politycznej „to, co publiczne” często rozumiane jest jako własność i/lub kontrola państwowa. John Dewey uznaje dane operacje społeczne za „publiczne”, gdy niosą konsekwencje pokrewne dla osób innych niż bezpośrednio zaangażowane w dane działania. W ten sposób stają się one przedmiotem troski państwowej. Jest to rozróżnienie znacznie bardziej pojemne niż to proponowane przez Samuelsona, jednakże nie pozwala na nakładanie ograniczenia na koszty. Żadna z tych definicji nie jest satysfakcjonująca, ale każda ma nam coś do zaoferowania oraz może zostać wykorzystana do krytycznego zbadania tej drugiej. W niniejszym artykule dokonano syntezy tych dwóch podejść, wykorzystując powstałą w jej wyniku ramę zawierającą cztery kwadranty (społeczeństwo obywatelskie, socjaldemokrację, państwowy quasi-rynek oraz rynek komercyjny) do analizy szkolnictwa wyższego i badań.

Menstruation is a natural physiological change that occurs in every woman and is influenced by reproductive hormones, FSH (estrogen) or LH (progesterone). When you are menstruating, usually women will experience pain or cramps in the lower abdomen; this is called dysmenorrhea. One of the treatments for menstrual pain is traditional medicine using ginger ale. To analyze the effectiveness of giving ginger wedang to reduce the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain in female students in islamic boarding schools. This study uses a type of research. quasi-experimental, that is, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. With a population of students at the Islamic boarding school kediri as many as 86 students. The sampling was carried out by purposive sampling, so a sample of 31 respondents was obtained. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test formula. The results showed that the intensity of dysmenorrhea on day 1 before being given ginger tea had most of the respondents on a pain scale of 7-9 with an average pain scale of 6.9, and after being given ginger tea on day 2, the pain intensity scale of most respondents decreased between 1- 3 with an average of 1.9. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a significance value of 0.003. Giving wedang jahe during menstrual pain is believed to reduce the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain

Context. Material accreted onto classical T Tauri stars is expected to form a hot quasi-periodic plasma structure that radiates in X-rays. Simulations of this phenomenon only partly match observations. They all rely on a static model for the chromosphere and on the assumption that radiation and matter are decoupled. Aims. We explore the effects of a shock-heated chromosphere and of the coupling between radiation and hydrodynamics on the structure and dynamics of the accretion flow. Methods. We simulated accretion columns that fall onto a stellar chromosphere using the 1D ALE code AstroLabE. This code solves the hydrodynamics equations along with the first two moment equations for radiation transfer, with the help of a dedicated opacity table for the coupling between matter and radiation. We derive the total electron and ion densities from collisional-radiative model. Results. The chromospheric acoustic heating affects the duration of the cycle and the structure of the heated slab. In addition, the coupling between radiation and hydrodynamics leads to a heating of the accretion flow and of the chromosphere: the whole column is pushed up by the inflating chromosphere over several times the steady chromosphere thickness. These last two conclusions are in agreement with the computed monochromatic intensity. Acoustic heating and radiation coupling affect the amplitude and temporal variations of the net X-ray luminosity, which varies between 30 and 94% of the incoming mechanical energy flux, depending on which model is considered.

This paper presents novel insights into the influence of soluble surfactants on bubble flows obtained by direct numerical simulation (DNS). Surfactants are amphiphilic compounds which accumulate at fluid interfaces and significantly modify the respective interfacial properties, influencing also the overall dynamics of the flow. With the aid of DNS, local quantities like the surfactant distribution on the bubble surface can be accessed for a better understanding of the physical phenomena occurring close to the interface. The core part of the physical model consists of the description of the surfactant transport in the bulk and on the deformable interface. The solution procedure is based on an arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian (ALE) interface-tracking method. The existing methodology was enhanced to describe a wider range of physical phenomena. A subgrid-scale (SGS) model is employed in the cases where a fully resolved DNS for the species transport is not feasible due to high mesh resolution requirements and, therefore, high computational costs. After an exhaustive validation of the latest numerical developments, the DNS of single rising bubbles in contaminated solutions is compared to experimental results. The full velocity transients of the rising bubbles, especially the contaminated ones, are correctly reproduced by the DNS. The simulation results are then studied to gain a better understanding of the local bubble dynamics under the effect of soluble surfactant. One of the main insights is that the quasi-steady state of the rise velocity is reached without ad- and desorption being necessarily in equilibrium.

Prócz prowadzonych niekiedy od stuleci ogrodów klasztornych nowe zakładali tak teoretycy, jak i praktycy ziołolecznictwa – lekarze, aptekarze i pierwsi botanicy. Wśród zawodów medycznych pojawili się profesjonalni ogrodnicy, którzy sprzedawali rośliny farmaceutom, a zapewne też udzielali podstawowych porad medycznych. W swojej pracy korzystali z naukowych (czy też quasi-naukowych) zielników gromadzących informacje o właściwościach i zastosowaniu roślin. W zbiorach Biblioteki Naukowej PAU i PAN w Krakowie znajduje się inkunabuł dokumentujący praktykę zawodową hodowcy roślin (Inc. 31). Niekompletny (brakuje w nim 120 z ponad 360 kart) egzemplarz Gart der Gesundheit z 1485 roku należał do niezidentyfikowanego, posługującego się językiem niemieckim krakowskiego ogrodnika, który w latach 1493–1527 poczynił w nim liczne notatki. Cały tekst został przez niego zindeksowany (na marginesach autor zanotował hasłowo najważniejsze elementy poszczególnych opisów roślin i opracował własny indeks). Bogato ilustrowany inkunabuł był dla niego nie tylko źródłem wiedzy (wynotowywał zastosowanie roślin, niekiedy proste receptury i różne spostrzeżenia medyczne oraz kulinarne, a także zamieszczał uwagi zasłyszane od krakowskich lekarzy), ale też notatnikiem handlarza (przy większości roślin zapisane są ceny skupu, które płacono w aptekach aglomeracji krakowskiej, a przy kilku także ceny sprzedaży i źródło, skąd pozyskiwał nasiona bądź rzadką roślinę) oraz hodowcy (większość notatek dotyczy czasu kiełkowania i kwitnięcia roślin oraz ich wyglądu, zwłaszcza elementów nieukazanych na drzeworytach lub niedokładnie przedstawionych).
Ilustracje były dla niego równie istotne jak tekst zielnika. Nowe, opracowane w Moguncji w końcu XV wieku drzeworyty były względnie realistyczne i pozwalały szybko znaleźć odpowiednie hasło i zidentyfikować roślinę. Krakowski właściciel dodatkowo dopisywał przy przedstawieniach roślin ich niemieckie, łacińskie i polskie nazwy (czasem odmienne niż w niemieckim druku). Co więcej, swój egzemplarz najprawdopodobniej kupił już pokolorowany, bo wśród notatek są także jego uwagi na temat jakości ilustracji i ewentualnych różnic między rzeczywistą rośliną i jej przedstawieniem, obejmujące przede wszystkim barwę liści i kwiatów.
Mimo że krakowski egzemplarz Gart der Gesundheit został zniszczony w czasie XIX-wiecznej konserwacji (obecnie brak w nim ⅓ kart oraz oryginalnej oprawy), przez co nie można zidentyfikować jego pierwszego właściciela, zamieszczone w nim notatki pozwalają nam zobaczyć, jak na przełomie XV i XVI wieku wykorzystywano bogato ilustrowane publikacje naukowe z zakresu botaniki i ziołolecznictwa. Chociaż książka nie była tania, miała dla niego przede wszystkim znaczenie użytkowe i była traktowana jako swoisty almanach, który daje wgląd w środowisku hodowców roślin tego okresu, ale też w przyrodę i klimat Krakowa przełomu średniowiecza i nowożytności.

Given the documented wave-induced damage of elevated coastal decks during extreme natural hazards (e.g., hurricanes) in the last two decades, it is of utmost significance to decipher the wave-structure-interaction of complex deck geometries and quantify the associated loads. Therefore, this study focuses on the assessment of solitary wave impact on open-girder decks that allow the air to escape from the sides. To this end, an arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) numerical method with a multi-phase compressible formulation is used for the development of three-dimensional hydrodynamic models, which are validated against a large-scale experimental dataset of a coastal deck. Using the validated model as a baseline, a parametric investigation of different deck geometries with a varying number of girders Ng and three different widths, was conducted. The results reveal that the Ng of a superstructure has a complex role and that for small wave heights the horizontal and uplift forces increase with the Ng, while for large waves the opposite happens. If the Ng is small the wave particles accelerate after the initial impact on the offshore girder leading to a more violent slamming on the onshore part of the deck and larger pressures and forces, however, if Ng is large then unsynchronized eddies are formed in each chamber, which dissipate energy and apply out-of-phase pressures that result in multiple but weaker impacts on the deck. The decomposition of the total loads into slamming and quasi-static components, reveals surprisingly consistent trends for all the simulated waves, which facilitates the development of predictive load equations. These new equations, which are a function of Ng and are limited by the ratio of the wavelength to the deck width, provide more accurate predictions than existing empirical methods, and are expected to be useful to both engineers and researchers working towards the development of resilient coastal infrastructure.

Many structures are required to sustain the structural resistance also under extreme loading conditions, for example impacts of high-velocity objects (airplane crash into nuclear power plant), impacts of projectiles (defence structures), or while exposed to high velocity pressure wave caused e.g. by explosion of various chemicals in industry, nature gas, or also conventional weapons. Numerical analyses of these phenomena are feasible while utilizing explicit approach of the finite element method (FEM), available in commercially accessible software LS-Dyna. In order to predict the behaviour of the structure properly, advanced nonlinear material models are required to be considered, which are often mathematically described by numerous input parameters. Several approaches to model the exposure to blast load exist, from simplified, where the blast wave is considered as timedependent pressure based on empirical equations, to more advanced ones, where the propagation of the pressure wave itself through the surrounding environment is being modelled Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian, (ALE method), or so called smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method, which might be used to model the blast itself. In this paper, FEM analyses of a simply supported concrete slab with basalt fibre reinforced polymer (BFRP) bars exposed to close range explosion of TNT charge are presented. 3D numerical models are analysed utilizing explicit solver of LS-Dyna. Karagozian and Case (K&C) nonlinear material model for concrete is used, which is suitable when high strain rates are present in the quasi brittle materials. Two variants of the blast loads modelling are compared. The simplified empirical approach, which is less demanding on computational power, and feasible for utilization in case of simple structure geometry, and more demanding method using SPH method to model the TNT detonation and interaction with the exposed concrete slab. The results of these numerical analyses are compared with experimental data based on available literature, and properly discussed.

The importance of developing social skills in educational institutions engaged in innovative activities lies in the fact that a person is the main intellectual resource that provides value to the products created, thus becoming the basis of development and innovation. This article presents the results of a descriptive study, obtained by applying the quasi-experimental methodology, as a form of intervention on ULIM students, in orderto develop social skills within professional trainings. The obtained results show the development path of social skills in 25 students from year 1 to the end of year 3 of study. The results from the test-retest showed an increase in the averages for the competence of self-expression in communication, a harmonization of the assessment of one’s own social skills, harmonized the students’ capacity for objective assessment, overestimations being removed, but also through the development of social skills, the level of adaptability and subjective assessment of the quality of life increased.

Badanie recepcji sztuki Albrechta Dürera jest kolejnym sposobem zgłębiania fenomenu twórczości artysty, który już za życia osiągnął wyjątkowy status. Co istotne, analiza artystycznych refleksów jego dzieł ujawnia niekiedy nowe aspekty ich samych. Do takich wniosków można dojść badając XVI-wieczne echa miedziorytu Albrechta Dürera przedstawiającego św. Jerzego (B.53). Campbell Dodgson rozpoznając w znaku umieszczonym na chorągwi tego świętego insygnium Zakonu Rycerzy św. Jerzego ujawnił szczególny kontekst historyczno-polityczny tej ryciny. W świetle jego spostrzeżenia praca ta okazała się nie ahistorycznym przedstawieniem legendarnego pogromcy smoka, ale odwołaniem do ówczesnego, specjalnego wymiaru kultu patrona chrześcijańskiego rycerstwa. Historyczna ranga św. Jerzego jako patrona krzyżowców i obrońców wiary sprawiła, że w XV wieku do jego osoby nawiązywano wobec narastającego konfliktu z imperium otomańskim. Tak uczynił cesarz Fryderyk III Habsburg zakładając w 1467 roku Zakon Rycerzy św. Jerzego. Św. Jerzy stał się również szczególnym patronem jego syna, Maksymiliana I, który uczynił z osoby św. Jerzego ważny instrument propagandy politycznej i artystycznej.
Można postawić pytanie, czy Albrecht Dürer nie zademonstrował w swej rycinie znakomitego wyczucia atrakcyjności i aktualności tematu, tworząc wizerunek współczesnego św. Jerzego, który mógł być interpretowany jako germański miles christianus. Również ukazanie św. Jerzego jako niemłodego, brodatego rycerza mogło stanowić przejaw świadomej archaizacji (uzasadnionej w kontekście tematu ryciny), jak i skłaniać – poprzez „realizm” tego wizerunku – do dostrzegania w nim potencjału portretowej stylizacji. Recepcja Dürerowskiego miedziorytu pokazuje, że ten jego „realistyczny” potencjał był traktowany jako swoiste zaproszenie do formuł portretowych i quasi-portretowych, Wykorzystał to np. Lucas Cranach Starszy, doskonale znający oeuvre Norymberczyka i chętnie odnoszący się do jego prac w twórczy sposób. Ciekawym przykładem recepcji Dürerowskiego Św. Jerzego, która nie sprowadza się jedynie do automatycznego powtórzenia kompozycji lub zestawiania jej fragmentów, jest znajdujący się w kościele kolegiackim w Środzie Wielkopolskiej nagrobek Ambrożego Pampowskiego, starosty generalnego wielkopolskiego i pruskiego, sprawnego dyplomaty i administratora za panowania kolejnych Jagiellonów na przełomie XV i XVI wieku. Z testamentu Pampowskiego wiadomo, że nagrobek ten został wystawiony jeszcze za jego życia, a zleceniodawca wykazał się dużą dbałością o formę swej komemoracji. Uwagę badaczy zwracał dotąd sposób przedstawienia postaci i jego graficzny pierwowzór, nie zastanawiano się natomiast, czy między formą komemoracji a życiorysem Pampowskiego zachodzą głębsze związki. Tymczasem kilka faktów z biografii Pampowskiego pozwala wysunąć przypuszczenie, że wzorowanie własnego nagrobka na wizerunku św. Jerzego mogło być zabiegiem celowym, mówiącym o świadomości politycznej wielkopolskiego dostojnika.
Nie można wykluczyć, że Pampowski był również świadomy rangi autora graficznego pierwowzoru. Doświadczenia zdobyte podczas studiów na Akademii Krakowskiej i w trakcie pobytu w kancelarii koronnej i na dworze królewskim wywarły znaczący wpływ na horyzonty intelektualne Pampowskiego i jego zainteresowania związane z kulturą artystyczną. W efekcie jego działania na tym polu wykraczały poza zwyczajową dbałość o prestiż rodu i własnej osoby. Na tle ówczesnej recepcji grafiki Dürera w Królestwie Polskim nagrobek Pampowskiego wyróżnia się tym, że jest stosunkowo rzadkim przykładem dzieła, którego graficzny wzór został świadomie wybrany przez fundatora.

Out of the plethora of definitons and acceptations that were conferred to language throughout time, two greater paradigms were especially delineated: on the one hand, the understanding of language as an “instrument for communication”, and on the other hand, the understanding of language as a “worldview”. I shall emphasize in my paper certain aspects pertaining to the current context that impose an adequate understanding of language and its function, presenting and discussing therewith the definition of language under these two trends / paradigms in linguistics and the direct or indirect implications of these types of understanding of language. I deem that the furthering (through various ways, either: didactic, scientific, cultural etc.) of one or the other of these perspectives for understanding language determines in the consciousness of the speakers an intuition as to what language represents. As such, a change of outlook on language (from the quasi-generalized perspective of language as an “instrument for communication”, towards language as a “worldview”) is highly important, especially in the present context where the phenomenon of English language “globalization” is being increasingly noticed. The realization that each language represents an inestimable spiritual value first is possible solely through the angle of understanding the fact that the individuality of every language is being situated, after a first approximation, at the level of the specific way through which it demarcates and structures reality using its own signifiers, offering thus a “worldview”.

AbstractA comparative study of argon (Ar) and helium (He) plasmas is conducted in quasi‐atomic layer etching (ALE) processes for silicon (Si). The ALE window is identified to be between 35 and 55 V for Ar and 25–45 V for He, with an etch per cycle of 6.0 Å/cycle for Ar and 7.5 Å/cycle for He. Thirty percent thicker chlorination layers are observed with Cl2/He ALE than with Cl2/Ar ALE in the chlorination step. The penetration depth of He ions is twice that of Ar ions, with a standard deviation of 4.5 times greater. This study demonstrates that He ions in the removal steps considerably affect the subsequent modification steps in Si ALE.

Abstract Atomic layer etching (ALE) has been practically implemented as a technique to achieve atomic/molecular level control. However, its main disadvantage is that it involves a long time. The surface reaction mechanism required to realize high-throughput SiN ALE was investigated. CH3F/Ar plasma was applied in the adsorption step, while Ar plasma was used in the desorption and O2 ashing steps. To reduce process time, high-throughput ALE was performed at high ion energy, and the amount of etched SiN was evaluated. High-throughput SiN ALE conducted at short time intervals and at high ion energy underwent a quasi self-limited reaction, which is a characteristic of ALE, and the process time decreased. However, high-throughput ALE using CH3F in the adsorption step caused an increase in the extent of damage. Thus, the use of C4F8 (without H) can significantly reduce damage even under high-throughput ALE conditions.

AbstractThe dynamic response of long structures (e.g., pavements) subjected to moving loads is generally difficult to simulate using conventional methods like the finite element method in the Lagrangian setting. This is because the entire length of the structure in the path of the moving load would need to be discretized, and in turn would require large meshes. Additionally, if improvement in quality of results through the use of finer mesh sizes is sought, the entire region of the mesh in the load path would require refinement. As a direct result, long simulation run‐times can be expected when using conventional methods. To overcome these drawbacks, and improve the efficiency of the finite element simulations, the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) approach can be used to simulate pavement structures, provided longitudinal homogeneity is assumed. This contribution uses an extension of the quasi‐static ALE framework to the transient domain, enabling the study of the dynamic response of pavement structures subjected to moving loads. In this work, some case studies are considered to highlight the capabilities of this dynamic ALE framework.

Great interest is shown toward atomic layer etching (ALE) processes due to the better control of the etching process and higher selectivity that they can offer. In order to obtain these benefits, the ALE steps must be self-limited. In the case of SiO2 ALE, the passivation step often relies on the deposition of a fluorocarbon film on the surface of SiO2. This reaction is not self-limited, which can lead to a drift of the amount of material etched per cycle with the increasing number of cycles. The drift of these processes can be detected through thickness measurements, but this is often not available in situ in manufacturing tools. For this reason, this study focuses on finding a way to detect the drift of these processes using optical emission spectroscopy (OES) that is more likely available in situ in manufacturing tools. Results presented in this paper first characterize the drift of quasi-ALE of thermal SiO2 using spectroscopic ellipsometry and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. OES spectra are then studied to identify a marker of the drift of the process in agreement with previous measurements. The drift of the process is found to be dependent on the durations of the deposition and activation steps. The intensity of the line of emission at a wavelength of 251 nm, attributed to CF or CF2, is found to be a marker of the drift of the process.

Two-dimensional wave-induced fluid oscillations in two narrow gaps are numerically investigated in the time domain. The Arbitrary-Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) finite element model for free-surface flow problems is implemented based on the fully nonlinear potential flow theory. The aim of this study is to study the dynamic evolutions of gap resonance problems with focusing on both the initial transient and the final quasi-steady states, especially for the piston-mode oscillations of fluid bulk in multiple gaps that generally involve multiple response components and the nonlinear dynamic interactions between them. The transient and quasi-steady responses are examined through amplitude and phase analyses. The radiation damping and the time-dependent period-averaged phase adjustment are demonstrated to play significant roles in establishing the dynamic equilibrium process from the transient state to the quasi-steady state. The characteristics of the intrinsic synchronization modes of the quasi-steady oscillations allow us to derive the simplified formulae to predict the resonant and anti-resonant frequencies of the two-gaps system (two degrees-of-freedom) based on a simplified model of one degree-of-freedom. The predictive formulae provide useful insights into the dependence of resonant/anti-resonant frequencies on the relevant geometries of floating bodies. Significant nonlinear hardening stiffness behaviors of fluid responses between multiple bodies in close proximity are further demonstrated by different incident wave amplitudes. Effects of incident wave amplitudes on the amplitudes of responses and higher order harmonics are found to be highly dependent on the frequency bands. The contributions of the higher order harmonics on the overall responses are explained utilizing the Fourier Transformations analysis.

Europejska historia dwudziestego wieku doprowadziła do tego, że Żydzi i Arabowie, a także żydzi i muzułmanie, znaleźli się w sytuacji konfliktu, który ma charakter zarówno polityczny, jak i quasi-metafizyczny. Cele artykułu to analiza wpływu, jaki konflikt ten wywarł na postrzeganie antysemityzmu i islamofobii, oraz pokazanie islamofobicznych implikacji dyskursu, w ramach którego funkcjonuje kategoria „nowego antysemityzmu” (zwłaszcza w wariancie rozwijanym przez Alaina Finkielkrauta). Główna teza tekstu głosi, że zarówno walka przeciwko antysemityzmowi i islamofobii, jak i przeciwko łączącemu je w pewnych okolicznościach mechanizmowi negatywnego sprzężenia zwrotnego, wymaga nie tylko przeciwstawienia się uprzedzeniom antyżydowskim i antymuzułmańskim, ale także głębokiego, krytycznego przemyślenia koncepcji europejskości, które leżą u ich podstaw. A finite element-inspired hypergraph neural network is employed to predict the evolution of the fluid state based on the state of the whole system. The structural state is implicitly modeled by the movement of the mesh on the solid–fluid interface; hence, it makes the proposed framework quasi-monolithic. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is assessed on two prototypical fluid–structure systems, namely, the flow around an elastically mounted cylinder and the flow around a hyperelastic plate attached to a fixed cylinder. The proposed framework tracks the interface description and provides stable and accurate system state predictions during roll-out for at least 2000 time steps and even demonstrates some capability in self-correcting erroneous predictions. The proposed framework also enables direct calculation of the lift and drag forces using the predicted fluid and mesh states, in contrast to existing convolution-based architectures. The proposed reduced-order model via the graph neural network has implications for the development of physics-based digital twins concerning moving boundaries and fluid–structure interactions.

Glosowany wyrok dotyczy kwestii konstytucyjności obecności symboli religijnych na nieruchomościach publicznych. Sąd Najwyższy USA orzekł, że około 10 metrowy krzyż łaciński wzniesiony blisko wiek temu celem upamiętnienia żołnierzy poległych w czasie I wojny światowej nie narusza zasady religijnej neutralności państwa wyrażonej w pierwszej poprawce do federalnej ustawy zasadniczej (Establishment Clause). Sąd prawidłowo rozstrzygnął, iż monument może pozostać w dotychczasowej lokalizacji ze względu na jego doniosłość historyczną i kulturową. Na uznanie zasługuje przyjęte przez Sąd inkluzywistyczne rozumienie zasady religijnej neutralności. W wyroku wskazano, iż usuwanie symboli religijnych w przestrzeni publicznej wiele osób mogłoby odebrać nie za działanie neutralne, ale za przejaw wrogości wobec religii. Autor podziela stanowisko Sądu odrzucające relewantność tzw. testu Lemona do oceny niniejszej sprawy i spraw analogicznych na rzecz zastosowania tzw. testu historii i tradycji. Zastrzeżenie budzi jednak objęcie przez Sąd domniemaniem konstytucyjności jedynie „wieloletnich” monumentów, symboli i praktyk. Wydaje się, iż kryterium ich wieku nie powinno być decydującym czynnikiem w sądowej ocenie ich konstytucyjności. W końcu Sąd trafnie podkreślając pozareligijną wymowę i funkcję kontestowanego w sprawie krzyża, jednocześnie nie doszacował jego religijnego wymiaru. Nie ma potrzeby, aby eksponując kulturową i historyczną doniosłość krzyża - czy innego symbolu religijnego - w danym społeczeństwie, zarazem pomniejszać czy zbywać milczeniem jego głęboko chrześcijańską naturę. Rozstrzygnięcie o konstytucyjności krzyża na nieruchomości publicznej za cenę jego quasi dechrystianizacji w imię doktryny ceremonialnego deizmu byłoby nieuczciwe tak wobec wierzących jak i niewierzących.

Artykuł jest próbą podsumowania społecznej dyskusji o feminatywach i innych zmianach inkluzywnych w języku. Język inkluzywny definiujemy jako niewyłączający z debaty żadnej grupy ludzkiej. Termin polityczna poprawność traktujemy jako deprecjonujący. W kolejnych częściach tekstu przypominamy najgłośniejsze spory o język ostatnich lat: spory o nowe nazwy żeńskie, o nazwy etniczne i quasi-etniczne, w tym spory o słowo Murzyn czy przyimek przed nazwą Ukraina. Na podstawie korpusów i zasobów językowych proponujemy nowe metody ustalania konotacji słów. Porównujemy liczbę prawniczych wątpliwości co do interpretacji maskulinum generycznego i gatunkowej liczby pojedynczej. Generyczność liczby rodzi więcej problemów interpretacyjnych niż generyczność rodzaju. Oba zjawiska traktujemy jako językowo typowe, ale pierwsze warto ograniczać ze względów społecznych. Proponujemy nową metodę ustalenia stopnia stygmatyzacji nazwy w korpusach równoległych poprzez wyszukanie kontekstów, w którym dana nazwa jest w polskim przekładzie dodana bez źródła w oryginale. Język inkluzywny traktujemy jako całość, kompleks zmian, które powinny być opisywane łącznie. Zmiany inkluzywne to nie moda ostatnich lat, lecz naturalny proces, który trwa od stuleci (choć sam termin jest nowy). Przypominamy spory o język sprzed 100 lat: o nazwy Rusin i Ukrainiec, o przyimki z nazwami państw, o polskie formy adresatywne. Oddajemy też głos obrońcom tradycji i analizujemy ich argumenty. Przeciwnicy „politycznej poprawności” akceptują i stosują poszczególne, izolowane zmiany inkluzywne. Podsumowaniem artykułu są propozycje pozytywne, zasad komunikacji społecznej możliwe chyba do zaakceptowania przez obie strony polskiego sporu o język i tradycję. Obejmują one z jednej strony uznanie zmian inkluzywnych za naturalny proces językowy i akceptację ich, z drugiej strony nietraktowanie ich jako wyrazu poglądów politycznych czy światopoglądu, brak wyrzutów sumienia, że zanim zmiany zaszły, mówiliśmy inaczej.

International audience Arkady Fiedler’s Canada Smels like resin ( first edition in 1935) mixes reporting with a personal quest. The 14 stories of I doubt that you will be able to follow us (the volume was published in 2013) by Jacek Milewski exploit fiction in order to tell truths about the Polish Gypsy community. The two works reveal a common perspective that justifies studying them side by side. Arkady Fiedler and Jacek Milewski move outside their home group to communities, certainly firmly rooted in their culture, but also, in many respects, dominated and marginalized: Indians and Gypsies. The discovery of the other and its transposition into a narrative is part of a double exilic perspective, because exile affects both the subject-writer and his object of study. We think of the Edward Said’s figure of the intellectual, both outsider and exile. Born of crossing of borders, exile invites to destabilize the frameworks that belong to the native, domestic and familiar realm, to experience “foreigner” about whom we did not know much except that he is opposed to “we.” Here and there, the literary project presupposes a quasi‑scientific preparation; the establishment of quasi‑experimental conditions capable of breaking down obstacles which, in normal times, obscure or even make access to foreign countries impossible. Fiedler has extensively researched Canada and its history; his excursion, far from the main urban centers, becomes the vector of a discovery of “deep Canada.” Jacek Milewski began to frequent Gypsies as an educator; he learned their language and kept getting to know them closely. Fiedler and Milewski subvert the dualism between dominant and dominated. The Western/Indian opposition gives way to a contrasting palette: English, French, Indian factions allied with such and such a group of whites, metis, emigrants. In Milewski’s work, there is also an effect of paradoxical familiarity, cracking the wall of strangeness between the “native” reader and the Gypsies. In addition, beyond the Indians and the Gypsies, the two authors turn to “other” others. Not only metis, but also individuals marked by hybridity who have united several cultural identities and whose history has a tragic dimension: Etienne Brûlé, Gray Owl, the character of Wieslaw in Milewski. Fiedler’s Stanislaw the guide also embodies this prototype. These exarcerbated others hold up a mirror to the subject‑writer who is himself out of step with his community of origin. The lifestyle of Gypsies and Indians has a number of traditional features; close to nature, it is also the repository of interhuman values endangered by the progress of modern society. Hence a questioning about modernization, its harmful consequences as much as its profound utility. Thus, the two works are likely to feed contemporaryresearch conducted from an ecocritical perspective. Les deux ouvrages font apparaître une optique commune justifiant qu’on les étudie côte à côte. Arkady Fiedler et Jacek Milewski se déportent en dehors de leur groupe d’appartenance vers des communautés, certes ancrées solidement dans leur culture, mais aussi, à bien des égards, dominées et marginalisées : les Indiens et les Tziganes. La découverte de l’autre et sa transposition en récit s’inscrit dans une double perspective exilique, car l’exil touche aussi bien le sujet‑scripteur que son objet d’étude. On pense à la figure de l’intellectuel, outsider et exilé, chez Edward Saïd. Oba utwory łączy wspólna perspektywa, co uzasadnia ich wspólne badanie. Specyfika projektu Arkadego Fiedlera i Jacka Milewskiego zasadza się na tym, że obaj przenoszą się poza rodzinną grupę w stronę wspólnot, wprawdzie mocno zakorzenionych we własnej kulturze, lecz także pod wieloma względami zdominowanych i zmarginalizowanych: Indian i Cyganów. Odkrywanie Innego i jego transpozycja za pomocą narracji to procesy wpisujące się w „wygnańczą” perspektywę, ponieważ wygnanie odbija się zarówno na sytuacji pisarza jak i przedmiocie jego badań. W obu przypadkach literacki projekt opiera się na quasi-naukowych przygotowaniach; ustanowieniu quasi-eksperymentalnych możliwości pokonywania przeszkód, które w normalnych czasach zaciemniają, a nawet uniemożliwiają dostęp do Obcego. Fiedler intensywnie badał Kanadę i jej historię a jego marszruta, odbiegająca rychło od głównych ośrodków miejskich, to wektor odkrycia „głębokiej Kanady”. Jacek Milewski począł obcować z Cyganami jako pedagog – nauczył się ich języka i odtąd stale zacieśniał łączące go z nimi więzy. Fiedler i Milewski poddają rewizji dualizm między dominującymi a zdominowanymi.Opozycja pomiędzy człowiekiem zachodnim a Indianami ustępuje miejsca mocno skontrastowanej palecie: Anglosasi, Francuzi, ale także frakcje Indian sprzymierzające się z taką czy inną grupą białych, metysi, asymilujący się emigranci itd. U Milewskiego ponadto występuje efekt paradoksalnej bliskości przełamującej ścianę obcości między „rodzimym” czytelnikiem a Cyganami. Co więcej, obaj Autorzy poza Indianamii Cyganami zwracają się do, by tak rzec, innych innych. Nie tylko do metysów, aletakże istot naznaczonych hybrydyzacją, mianowicie do jednostek łączących w sobie kilka tożsamości kulturowych i których los przybiera częstokroć wymiar tragiczny: Etienne Brûlé, Gray Owl, postać Wiesława u Milewskiego. Przewodnik Stanisław u Fiedlera również uosabia ten prototyp. Owi inni „do kwadratu” ukazują lustro pisarzowi, który sam przecież wyszedł poza własną wspólnotę pochodzenia. Styl życia Cyganów oraz Indian nosi wiele tradycyjnych znamion; bliższy naturze, jest także skarbnicą wartości międzyludzkich, którym zagraża postęp współczesnego społeczeństwa. Stąd pytanie o modernizację, zarówno jej szkodliwe konsekwencje jak i głęboką użyteczność. Zatem oba utwory stanowią pożywkę dla kogokolwiek interesuje ekokrytyczna perspektywa w badaniach nad kulturą.

Si l’on se penche sur le détail des engagements pris lors de la conférence pour l’emploi, des 60.000 emplois nouveaux projetés sur quatre ans, 25.000 devraient être créés grâce à la réforme des titres-services. Ce dossier a fait l’objet de nombreux débats et a donné naissance à une «seconde génération» de titre-service. Malgré les nombreuses discussions sur ce sujet, notamment entre les différents partenaires de la coalition au pouvoir, certaines questions importantes méritent d’être approfondies, questions qui sont cruciales pour le succès des titres-services. Nous argumentons notamment que les titres-services ne sont pas nécessairement suffisamment attractifs pour les travailleurs et les consommateurs. Nous nous interrogeons ensuite sur les champs d’activités couverts par le titre-service.
Les titres-services sont-ils suffisamment attractifs pour les travailleurs ?
Pas nécessairement pour tous. L’accord qui a été négocié distingue le cas des allocataires sociaux de celui des autres prestataires. Pour ces derniers, ils seront soumis à un régime totalement souple (pas de minimum d’heures à prester, CDD ou CDI) pendant les trois premiers mois et ensuite ils devront passer sous contrat à durée indéterminée sans minimum d’heures à prester. Les allocataires sociaux, s’ils peuvent prester quelques heures pendant les 6 premiers mois, tout en gardant leur statut d’allocataire, devront être engagés après six mois sous contrat à durée indéterminée pour un travail d’au moins un mi-temps. On pense tout spécialement aux personnes actives en ALE qui seront invitées à passer dans le système des titres-services avant la fin de l’année. Dans la mesure où celles-ci sont majoritairement des femmes, le plus souvent cohabitantes ou dans une moindre mesure, chefs d’une famille monoparentale, la question centrale est donc de savoir si les avantages monétaires et non-monétaires - en particulier compte tenu du caractère pénible de la tâche (nettoyage principalement) et de la fragmentation des prestations - seront suffisants pour inciter les demandeurs d’emploi à s’insérer dans le système des titres-services. Pour les chefs de famille monoparentale, la réponse est plus que probablement négative. Pour les cohabitants, les avantages monétaires du titre-service sont plus élevés dans la mesure où l’allocation de chômage est nettement plus basse que celle des chefs de famille. De toute manière, et ce contrairement à la situation actuelle, les travailleurs(ses) ALE devront être disponibles pour entrer sur le marché du travail à partir d’octobre 2004. Ces personnes ne pourront donc pas refuser une offre d’emploi “titre-service” pour autant que cette offre soit jugée “adéquate”.

Ainsi, le travail au noir dans le secteur du nettoyage à domicile repose sur une logique de réseau : on engage une personne qui est renseignée comme une «personne de confiance» par un autre usager. En ce qui concerne le titre-service, les entreprises doivent être agréées mais il apparaît que les conditions d’agrément sont très souples et ne reposent pas sur des exigences précises notamment en termes d’encadrement des travailleurs. C’est dans ce cadre que l’on peut souligner l’apport de certains opérateurs d’économie sociale qui ont une longue expérience d’encadrement de travailleurs peu qualifiés. De plus, si le secteur de l’aide à domicile était jusqu’alors réservé au non-marchand caractérisé par une finalité de service à la collectivité et non de profit, l’accès du secteur privé à but lucratif est désormais ouvert. Se pose donc également la question de savoir comment le secteur privé à but lucratif peut développer le capital de confiance nécessaire dans ce champ.
Faut-il limiter les titres-services au champ de l’aide ménagère ?
Oui dans la mesure où il faut réserver ce type d’instrument dans des domaines dans lesquels la mise en concurrence de différents opérateurs ne pose pas de problème sur le plan de la qualité et de l’équité. Avec la mesure de titre-service, un nouveau type de régulation «quasi-marchande» est en effet introduit dans le champ de l’aide à domicile dans laquelle des prestataires de nature différente - publics, privés lucratifs, et d’économie sociale, du secteur marchand et du secteur non-marchand - sont mis en concurrence dans un champ jusqu’alors réservé aux organisations non-marchandes. Cette seconde génération de titre-service est un instrument qui privilégie, de facto, un objectif de politique économique et de création d’emploi dans le secteur de l’aide ménagère par rapport à un objectif de politique sociale d’aide à des personnes dépendantes. Cette régulation concurrentielle ne pose pas de problèmes déontologiques particuliers dans le cas des services ménagers stricto senso. Elle pourrait être étendue dans des activités comme celle du petit jardinage. En revanche, elle peut occulter un enjeu essentiel comme celui de l’équité. En effet, des services dans un champ comme celui de l’aide aux personnes dépendantes doivent être accessibles en termes de prix pour toute personne qui en a le besoin. Elle pose également la question de la régulation de la qualité. En effet, les services aux personnes - comme l’accueil de l’enfance et l’aide à domicile aux personnes dépendantes - sont composés d’une articulation entre des tâches techniques et du temps relationnel. Ainsi, l’exacerbation de la concurrence peut déboucher sur une baisse de la qualité des services, en l’absence de normes attestant de la fiabilité des prestataires. Si la conférence réserve, comme il nous semble souhaitable, le titre-service à certaines activités comme l’aide ménagère, elle laisse, du même coup, ouverte la question des besoins non satisfaits dans le champ de l’aide à domicile aux personnes dépendantes ou dans l’accueil de l’enfance.

Faut-il limiter les titres-services au champ de l’aide ménagère ?
Oui dans la mesure où il faut réserver ce type d’instrument dans des domaines dans lesquels la mise en concurrence de différents opérateurs ne pose pas de problème sur le plan de la qualité et de l’équité. Avec la mesure de titre-service, un nouveau type de régulation «quasi-marchande» est en effet introduit dans le champ de l’aide à domicile dans laquelle des prestataires de nature différente - publics, privés lucratifs, et d’économie sociale, du secteur marchand et du secteur non-marchand - sont mis en concurrence dans un champ jusqu’alors réservé aux organisations non-marchandes. Cette seconde génération de titre-service est un instrument qui privilégie, de facto, un objectif de politique économique et de création d’emploi dans le secteur de l’aide ménagère par rapport à un objectif de politique sociale d’aide à des personnes dépendantes. Cette régulation concurrentielle ne pose pas de problèmes déontologiques particuliers dans le cas des services ménagers stricto senso. Elle pourrait être étendue dans des activités comme celle du petit jardinage. En revanche, elle peut occulter un enjeu essentiel comme celui de l’équité. En effet, des services dans un champ comme celui de l’aide aux personnes dépendantes doivent être accessibles en termes de prix pour toute personne qui en a le besoin. Elle pose également la question de la régulation de la qualité. En effet, les services aux personnes - comme l’accueil de l’enfance et l’aide à domicile aux personnes dépendantes - sont composés d’une articulation entre des tâches techniques et du temps relationnel. Ainsi, l’exacerbation de la concurrence peut déboucher sur une baisse de la qualité des services, en l’absence de normes attestant de la fiabilité des prestataires. Si la conférence réserve, comme il nous semble souhaitable, le titre-service à certaines activités comme l’aide ménagère, elle laisse, du même coup, ouverte la question des besoins non satisfaits dans le champ de l’aide à domicile aux personnes dépendantes ou dans l’accueil de l’enfance.
