Therefore, despite modernization and globalization invaded, pesantren can still maintain its existence. Oleh karena itu, meskipun adanya modernisasi dan globalisasi, pesantren masih tetap bertahan. Selain itu, banyak stakeholder yang menyatakan bahwa pesantren adalah institusi pendidikan yang dapat berperan sebagai model pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Dua pertanyaan yang akan dijawab dalam tulisan ini adalah bagaimana strategi dan pola pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan oleh pesantren untuk membentuk sub kultur dan bagaimana bentuk sub kultur tersebut. Kajian ini memfokuskan perhatiannya di PesantrenLangitan Tuban dan Pesantren Ihyaul Ulum Gilang dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif.

It is realized that the morals / the character owned by humans can be changed. The character can be good or bad, the educational process influences it, and the interaction of the social, cultural, educational, and natural environments. In the era of digitalization, education has a vital role in bringing changes in people's lives; there are positive and negative influences, negative impacts, and a decrease in the more behavior of effective educational learners. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The primary data sources are the caretaker of Langitan boarding school, the caretaker of the boarding school, and the asatidz of the boarding school. Data collection techniques use participatory observations, structured interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis uses data collection, condensation, presentation of data, and conclusion withdrawal. Implementing the cultivation of santri characters in Pesantren Langitan is as follows: (1). Regius Character Planting Planning through the Study of Kitab Talim Al Mutaalim at Pondok Pesantren Langitan Tuban includes selecting science, teacher selection criteria, choosing friends, and selecting teachers and how to choose knowledge. (2) Implementation of regius character cultivation through the learning of talim al mutaalim in Pesantren Langitan Tuban through the classical system (madrasah), extra-curricular and non-classical (3) Evaluation of regius character cultivation through learning Talim Al Mutaalim book at Pondok Pesantren Langitan Tuban through daily evaluation, semester evaluation, and year-end evaluation.

Pondok Pesantren merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan islam yang sering identik dengan kurangnya manajemen lingkungan di dalamnya, terutama pengelolaan sampahnya. Pondok Pesantren Langitan dengan jumlah 3000 santri dengan wilayah seluas 7 hektar, menghasilkan sampah tidak kurang dari 400 kg/hari. Pengelolaan sampah masih dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu dikumpulkan, dikeringkan, dan dibakar. Belum adanya pemilahan pada sistem pewadahan dan pengumpulan, serta belum adanya kegiatan pengolahan sampah terpadu di tempat penampungan sampah sementara.Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pengelolaan sampah sederhana yang paling mungkin dilaksanakan di pondok pesantren. Pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan yang dibutuhkan meliputi pewadahan, pengumpulan, dan pengolahan sampah untuk menangani timbulan sampah. Perencanaan sistem pewadahan, pengumpulan, dan pengolahan dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis komposisi dan volume sampah dipondok pesantren dengan teori perempatan, yang disesuaikan dengan persyaratan pada SK SNI T-13-1990-F dan aspek ekonomis. Berat timbulan sampah total 496,66 kg/hari dengan komposisi sampah yang didapatkan terdiri dari sampah organik 49,64% dan sampah anorganik 50,36%. Jumlah keseluruhan wadah sampah yang dibutuhkan dalam perencanaan ini adalah 44 pasang wadah sampah, yang terdiri dari 44 wadah anorganik (kuning) dan 44 wadah organik (biru) dengan pengumpulan sampah 1 trip/hari. Kegiatan pengolahan sampah direncanakan dengan komposting dan sortasi sampah yang dapat didaur ulang. Rencana anggaran biaya dalam perencanaan pengelolaan sampah ini sebesar Rp.16.699.172,00.

Kitab Alfiyah of Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Malik al-Andalusi or known as Ibnu Malik is famous for resource of Arabic grammar. It is uncommon to find discourse of the kitab apart from the Arabic grammar. It is the fact that moral values are the other side of its contents, implicitly live in the stanzas. Philosophical worldview makes possible to uncover the moral values, then to interpret it, and to internalize it throung learning activities. This article describes the moral contents, internalization methods, and reflection of the internalization towards santri in Pondok Pesantren Langitan Tuban. With naturalistic paradigm, data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. Findings shows that moral internalization in the kitab Alfiyah Ibn Malik learning activities was going through modelling, rewards, punishment, building habits, and indoctrination. In addition, author finds 31 moral values within stanzas in the kitab and 12 reflective behaviors by santri.

Scabies dikenal di Indonesia sebagai penyakit kulit. Lebih sering dikenal dengan penyakit gudik yaitu penyakit kulit yang disebabkan oleh infestasi dan sensitisasi terhadap saccoptes scabiei. Skabies juga dikenal sebagai penyakit menular yang mendunia dengan estimasi 300 juta kasus setiap tahunnya. Prevalensi ini bervariasi dan fluktuatif setiap waktunya. Prevalensi penyakit skabies di Indonesia adalah sekitar 6-27% dari populasi umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan tentang hidup bersih dan sehat santri setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan.Desain penelitian menggunakan Pre Experimental design. Populasinya adalah seluruh santri yang di pondok pesantren Mukhtariyah Syafi’iyah 1 di Desa Beji, Kec. Jenu Kab. Tuban. Sample ditentukan secara random sampling yaitu 80 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji statistik Spearman dan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pengetahuan Santri pondok pesantren tentang hidup bersih dan sehat dalam mencegah penyakit skabies sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan mengalami peningkatan. Sesuai hasil uji Analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test pada data pretest dan post-test menghasilkan nilai p=0,000 (<0,05), yang berarti sangat signifikan.Pendidikan kesehatan sangat efektif dalam merubah pengetahuan santri, sehingga sangat disarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan pelaksanaan pendidikan kesehatan di pondok-pondok yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Tuban.

Education is one of the primary needs in life, thats means humans cannot be separated from educational activities. The purpose of education in general is to educate the nation's life and develop the whole person. Educators will use different methods in each class when he teaches, such as one face-to-face and collaborate with other learning methods. The age of the students in learning influences the method used by educators. Elderly education activities (Elderly) do not occur very much in Indonesia. The institutions that overshadow and organize the education of the elderly are still lacking. Over a period of nearly 50 years (1971-2018), the percentage of Indonesia's elderly population has doubled. The educational needs of the elderly are actually still large. The greatest need is education about religion. To cover the activity, there is an institution for organizing elderly education, namely al Hidayah Islamic boarding school, Doromukti sub-district, Tuban district. This Islamic boarding school organizes a special Islamic religious education for the elderly. Islamic religious education methods used in the al Hidayah Islamic boarding school in Doromukti sub-district, Tuban district include; methods of travel, lecture, support, sorogan and practice.

ABSTRAKSaat ini wisata syariah yang biasa dikenal dengan wisata religi sedang menjamur, khususnya di Jawa Timur. Sosok yang dianggap wali oleh sebagian orang itu berada di Surabaya, Gresik, dan Tuban, namun saat ini berkembang di kabupaten Jombang, yakni makam Presiden ke-4 Abdurrahman Wahid yang disebut Gus Dur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan peluang wisata religi makam Gus Dur dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar pondok pesantren Tebuireng khususnya di dusun Jalan Seblak gang III. Penelitian ini dapat dicermati melalui perubahan kehidupan ekonomi, pemanfaatan peluang usaha dan faktor penghambat bagi kepentingan usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat setempat mengalami perubahan ekonomi dengan memanfaatkan peluang untuk membangun warung di atas tanah mereka dan menyewakannya kepada pedagang luar. Ini memberikan nilai ekonomi tambahan. Namun, penjualan warung-warung tersebut dinilai tidak mencukupi, sehingga mengharuskan mereka untuk membuka usaha sampingan. Terdapat peluang yang sangat baik bagi masyarakat untuk memilih menyewakan lapaknya karena faktor penghambat yaitu keluarga, tenaga kerja, permodalan, dan rasa empati yang tinggi terhadap pedagang pendatang. Saran bagi Pemerintah Kabupaten Jombang adalah memfasilitasi masyarakat dengan pengetahuan kewirausahaan dengan mengadakan seminar agar memiliki pengetahuan dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk menjalankan bisnis.Kata Kunci: Wisata Religi Makam Gus Dur, Peningkatan Ekonomi, Peluang Usaha. ABSTRACTCurrently, sharia tourism, commonly known as religious-friendly tourism is proliferating, especially in East Java. The figure, who is considered a guardian by some people, is located in Surabaya, Gresik, and Tuban but currently developing in the Jombang district, namely the tomb of the 4th President Abdurrahman Wahid, who is called Gus Dur. This study aims to determine the understanding of the community in taking advantage of religious tourism opportunities in Gus Dur's tomb in improving the community's economy around the Tebuireng Islamic boarding school, especially in the hamlet of Street Seblak street alley III. This study can be observed through changes in economic life, utilization of business opportunities and inhibiting factors for business interests. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this study show that the local community is experiencing economic changes by taking advantage of the opportunity to build a warung on their land and rent it out to outside traders. It provides added economic value. However, the sales of the stalls are considered insufficient, so they require them to open a side business. There is an excellent opportunity for the community to choose to rent out their stalls because of the inhibiting factors, namely family, labour, capital, and a high sense of empathy for migrant traders. The suggestion for the Jombang Regency Government is to facilitate the community with entrepreneurial knowledge by holding seminars to have high knowledge and motivation for business interests.Keywords: Religion Tourism of Gus Dur Tomb, Economic Improvement, Business Opportunity. Social change is an integral phenomenon in every society. The dynamics of social change present a phenomenon of a society or a part of society that is eroded by change; some are immersed in the flow of change, some exercise resistance measures, and some are even able to contribute to the dynamics of social change by conducting transformation. Pesantren, as one of the oldest Islamic educational institution, demonstrates efforts of defense and transformation as a form of adaptation towards social change. The history of education in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role and contribution of pesantren. In its development, Indonesian education which adopted modernization of western education shifted pesantren to become an additional alternative educational institution, rather than primary institution it used to be. However, the most recent development shows a return of pesantren’s presence and contribution as a significant alternative for education system in Indonesia. This cannot be separated from the fact that the pesantren has applied a model of adaptation. The purpose of this research is to analyze diversity of adaptive models in three pesantrens in Java. With methods of observation and in-depth interviews in three pesantrens which are Cidahu in Pandeglang, Banten; Langitan in Tuban, East Java; and Darul Ulum in Jombang, East Java, this research confirms that adaptive models of pesantren have created diversity in pesantren models. However, through this diversity it is still evident that the pesantren is a model of typical Indonesian education.
