Abstract (sommario):

Downside 61166 is a very small manuscript processional – a highly portable book of chants and music for liturgical processions. The present article contains the first full description of Downside 61166 and demonstrates for the first time that it was written for the Dominican nuns of the Priory of Saint Louis, Poissy. Well over 30 other late-medieval processionals from Poissy are known to survive, and this unassuming little Downside manuscript is therefore part of an important corpus of material, promising rich and detailed evidence for the evolution of liturgical text and practice within a female monastic context.

Abstract (sommario):

This article examines English attitudes towards a moderate solution to the confessional struggles in France in the 1560s. It uses the activities of the scholar and advocate of concord, François Baudouin, as a point of focus, demonstrates, for the first time, the full extent of his English connection, and shows that he proposed to use English Protestant worship as the basis for negotiations between Catholics and Huguenots in France. The article advances our understanding of England's place within the international Reformed movement, and sheds further light on the difficulties of achieving religious compromise in this period.

The discovery of a document, until now hidden in an obscure Protestant pamphlet, presented by Charles cardinal de Lorraine (1525–74) to the privy council in August 1562, underpins recent work which shows the cardinal to have been an evangelical Catholic interested in reform and in reconciliation with Lutherans, both before and after the Colloquy of Poissy. This paper argues that Protestants feared Lorraine precisely because his interest in dialogue had the potential to split the reform movement. Publication of his five articles in 1565 was an attempt to embarrass him after Trent and to compromise his political rapprochement with the prince of Condé.

Küberkiusamise sügavama mõistmise, sealhulgas mõõtmise seisukohalt on oluline teada, kuivõrd sarnaselt või erinevalt poisid ja tüdrukud küberkiusamise fenomeni tajuvad. Teema põhjalikuma käsitlemise vajalikkusele viitab ka asjaolu, et varasemad küberkiusamise valdkonnas tehtud soolise võrdluse uuringud on andnud üsna vastuolulisi tulemusi. Uurimistöö eesmärk on võrrelda poiste ja tüdrukute vahelisi erinevusi küberkiusamise fenomeni tajumisel kiusamise kriteeriumite ja liikide alusel. Uuringus osales 336 Eesti õpilast vanuses 11−17 eluaastat: 163 tüdrukut ja 173 poissi. Instrumendina kasutati Euroopa projektis COST Action IS0801 valminud ankeeti. Andmeid analüüsiti võrdlustestide, täpsemalt χ2-testi, mittepaarisvalimi t-testi ja Manni-Whitney U-testiga. Küberkiusamiskäitumist defineerivate kriteeriumite ja liikide puhul ei tuvastatud poiste ja tüdrukute hinnangute vahel ühtegi statistiliselt olulist erinevust. Seevastu küberkiusamise kriteeriumite ja liikide tõsidust tajusid poisid ja tüdrukud erinevalt. Summary

Abstract (sommario):

A Segunda Revolução Industrial proporcionou avanços tecnológicos em diversos campos do conhecimento, entre eles a arquitetura, onde o surgimento de novos materiais – a exemplo do concreto, do aço e do vidro – possibilitaram a criação de novas formas a partir das concepções dos principais arquitetos do período. Nesta direção, este artigo propõe algumas reflexões sobre o pensamento do arquiteto Le Corbusier (1887-1965), expressos em suas ideias e conceitos perpetuados como: “a casa é uma máquina de morar” e “promenade architecturale”. Utilizando como metodologia de investigação a pesquisa bibliográfica apoiada nas referências encontradas sobre a Villa Savoye, projetada por este arquiteto e construída em Poissy na França, entre 1929-31. Considerando-se que, a residência se tornou um dos principais símbolos da arquitetura moderna por representar a síntese das premissas corbusianas apresentadas nos “cinco pontos” da arquitetura moderna, concebidos em 1926, entendemos que, a partir de uma análise detalhada sobre a edificação – de sua história à sua concepção e execução, possamos estar contribuindo com futuros estudos que promovam desdobramentos ao tema.

This article argues that the debate over the fate of Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye (1928-1931) in Poissy, France-which was in derelict condition by the 1950s-occasioned an international reconsideration of the architect's work as well as a reconsideration of the French architectural patrimony. The author argues that, while the house has been discussed since the time of its completion in largely formal terms, more recent scholarship has opened up the debate on the material circumstances of its construction and the ideological implications of its design. As part of this new perspective, it is important to understand the house not simply as a universally applicable design solution by its architect, but as an object that was altered and restored in response to changing perceptions of Le Corbusier and his work. The process by which the Villa Savoye was preserved, restored, and established as an official historic monument of the French state, between c. 1958 and 1967, brought about a reconceptualization of modernist architecture and of the historic monument in France. Modernist architecture, including the Villa Savoye, was incorporated during the postwar period into a celebratory cultural history of France. Among government administrators who participated in this process was André Malraux, who in the postwar period attempted to reconstruct France's international prestige on the basis of its cultural production. Prodded into action on behalf of the Villa Savoye by architects, critics, and scholars around the world, as well as by an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Malraux finally acknowledged that the work of Le Corbusier could be admitted into the corpus of monuments on which French identity was to be built.

Abstract (sommario):

The average expenditure on cigarettes per capita in Sulawesi Tengah Province has increased in 2020. There are several factors that can affect a person's cigarette consumption including gender, age, education and health. To model cigarette consumption with several influencing factors can be use the poison regression model or the Zero Inflated Poisson (ZIP) model. However, the two regression models cannot solve the excess zero and overdispersion problems so use the Hurdle Negative Binomial (HNB) regression model. The results of the analysis of cigarette consumption data in Central Sulawesi Province using the HNB model provide the best modeling results compared to the poisson regression model and the ZIP model because it has the smallest Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC) value. The results of testing the factors that significantly influence cigarette consumption in Central Sulawesi Province in the HNB regression model, namely the count model are gender, age and health. Whereas in the zerohurdle model, it is gender, age and education.
