Abstract (sommario):
Pochaivska Lavra was one of the largest cultural centers in the XVIII - the first third of the XIX century. Pochaivs’ka Lavra Printing house, after the printing house of the Kyiv-Pechers’k Monastery, was one of most powerful publishing center in the Ukrainian lands. Until the end of the XVIII century it published about 250 editions in Cyrillic and about 200 editions in Latin and others languages. At present, relevant is unbiased and objective coverage of all aspects of the activity of the Pochayivs’ka Lavra at the period of the Basilians as the least studied and on the other hand as the most productive period, especially in the book publishing process. The purpose of this article is an attempt to determine the role of the Pochayiv monastery as the center of the unification of Ukrainians, analyzing the repertoire of the Pochayiv publishing house at the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century, the language of publications, their design and contacts with other publishing houses. It is concluded that the most productive activity of the Pochayiv printing house was Uniate period - XVIII - beginning of the XIX century. The typical features of the printing industry of this time were: a diverse repertoire of books that included the spiritual and secular literature of various Christian confessions, original and translated works of religious moralistic content, multilingual editions, and their high artistic level. The activity of the Pochayiv Assumption printing house extending beyond narrow confessional boundaries. Like the Kyiv editions were used not only by the Orthodox, but also by the Catholics of the Byzantine rite, the Pochaiv books and engravings spread among the Orthodox population of Ukraine. The undoubted merit of this cultural and spiritual center was that it continued the tradition of printing Ukrainian-language publications in conditions where the Kyiv- Pechers’ka printing house was deprived of such a possibility under the pressure of decrees of Russian secular and church authorities. The Pochayiv printing house maintained close contacts with other publishing centers - both Uniate and Orthodox. This is evidenced by the active using and reprint of their publications in Pochaiv. Despite the different denominations, there were close contacts between the Pochayiv Uniate and Kyiv-Pechers’k Orthodox printing houses. This testified to the spiritual unity of Ukrainian lands besides state borders, religious and administrative barriers of secular and church authorities.

Abstract (sommario):
Objective: based on correspondence and memoirs, to explore the work of a professional historian who uses the region of his temporary habitation, in order to collect materials for his own research interests. The research methodology is based on the principles of historicism, objectivity, systematization, religious impartiality, and worldview pluralism. This made it possible to consider the processes that took place in the Pochaiv Monastery and were caused by state-political and religious-confessional changes, which were reflected in the historical progress of this Volyn monastery. Scientific novelty. The stay of a scientist and a Christian in the largest monastery of the region, which attracted a researcher as a historical object and a pilgrim, as a Christian monastery, was analyzed. The past is presented universally: a) in the context of the profession of a scientist who visits historical sites, studies various sources, collects oral evidence, folklore materials; b) from point of view of a pilgrim traveler who honors monastic shrines, observes the peculiarities of monastic life, the psychology of the inhabitants of the monastery, notes the presence of other Christian objects in the orbit of monastic activity. The urgency stems from the tasks of comprehensive study of the past of Ukrainian monasteries - centers of spirituality, education, culture and art. The urgency is also conditioned due to the contribution of Pochaiv monastery in the process of creating national cultural heritage. The state of the research of the problems of the Pochayiv Monastery requires in-depth study of issues related to various aspects of the functioning of the largest Christian monastery in Volyn. Conclusions. Mykola Kostomarov memoirs and correspondence about his stay in the Pochaiv Monastery, which reflect the life of the monastery after Volhynia became part of Russia, allow us to understand the confessional atmosphere in the newly annexed territories. They are a kind of source that will help novice scholars to understand the diversity of the historian s work, which is based on the documentary diversity of the era they are studying. Continuation of the search for and elaboration of new materials related to the biography of Mykola Kostomarov will further reveal the scientific potential of this person, will complement the knowledge about his achievements in the field of historiography.

Abstract (sommario):
The article studies the reaction of famous monastic vow in Ukraine – The Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra on the acquisition of autocephality by Ukrainian Orthodox. Through the lens of facts proving its activity, it is explained that in the activation process of getting tomos of autocephality by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Pochayiv Lavra demonstrated the opposition to initiatives, directed at the formation of Ukrainian Orthodox national character. The document, which officially declared it, was “Address of Metropolitan Volodymyr, Father Superior of the Holy Dormition Lavra, regarding risk and “tomos””. The destructive activity of Pochayiv Lavra concerning the problem of overcoming the Orthodox conflict in Ukraine was demonstrated in mobilization of its piligrims to the participation in the acts that were pseudo-protest movements in nature, which were aimed at the destabilization of Ukrainian society and activation of intrapublic protests. In the end it could have been the reason not only for the interruption or even cancellation of the religious and church project of acquiring the status of Local Church by Ukrainian Orthodox Church, but in wider context – the significant slowdown of the consolidation of Ukrainian society and rollout of its national identity accumulation process.

Abstract (sommario):
Abstract: A series of imperial decrees of the 1820s ordering the establishment of a Greco-Uniate Theological Collegium and appropriate consistories contributed to the spread of the autocratic synodal system of government and the establishment of control over Greek Uniate church institutions in the annexed territories of Right-Bank Ukraine. As a result, the Greco-Uniate Church was put on hold in favor of the government's favorable grounds for the rapid localization of its activities. Basilian accusations of supporting the Polish November Uprising of 1830-1831 made it possible to liquidate the OSBM and most monasteries. The transfer of the Pochaiv Monastery to the ownership of the Orthodox clergy in 1831 was a milestone in the liquidation of the Greco-Uniate Church and the establishment of a Russian-style Orthodox mono-confessionalism. On the basis of archival documents, the political motivation of the emperor's decree to confiscate the Pochayiv Monastery from the Basilians with all its property and capital was confirmed. The transfer to the category of monasteries of the 1st class and the granting of the status of a lavra indicated its special role in strengthening the position of the autocracy in the western region of the Russian Empire. The orders of the Holy Synod outline the key tasks of ensuring the viability of the Lavra as an Orthodox religious center: the introduction of continuous worship, strengthening the personal composition of the population, delimitation of spiritual responsibilities, clarifying the affiliation of the printing house. However, maintaining the rhythm of worship and financial and economic activities established by the Basilians proved to be a difficult task, the solution of which required ten years of hard work. In order to make quick changes in the monastery, decisions were made by the emperor and senior government officials, and government agencies were involved at the local level, which required the coordination of actions of all parties to the process.

Abstract (sommario):
Drawing on previously unpublished archival sources and new materials of periodicals of the Volhynian province, the article examines the history of The Pochaev-Volhynian People's Loan Society and the role of Archimandrite Vitaly (Maksimenko) in the creation of the Pochaiv Bank. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of historical realities and the problems Father Vitaly had to face during the implementation of this project. In the early 20th century, several factors influenced the agrarian question in the Volhynian Governorate. The price of the fertile lands of this region was constantly growing, and the Volhynian peasants could not compete with the expansion of the non-native population (Jews, Poles, Germans). Having no alternative and suffering from a lack of land, the peasants were forced to borrow money either at an extremely high percentage from the Jews, or on very difficult terms from the landowners. To alleviate the situation of the Volhynian peasantry, Vitaly (Maksimenko) created a credit institution to give loans to the needy at a lower interest rate than those offered by usurers and landowners. Those who own excess funds could get a high interest rate on deposits. Having concentrated in his hands the editorial of the Pochaev Lavra and the leadership of the Pochaev Department of the Union of the Russian People, Archimandrite Vitaliy (Maksimenko) achieved the main goal of alleviating the situation of land-poor peasants. Despite the difficulties and obstacles that arose from both ideological opponents and local authorities, managed to create a large-scale banking institution with an extensive network of branches.

Abstract (sommario):
The article highlights the peculiarities of the formation of the sacred image of the modern Ternopil region under the influence of the architecture of the Basilian monastery complexes. Active missionary activity of the Order led to the founding, construction and reconstruction of ancient monasteries, which today are the decoration of the settlements of the region. These architectural ensembles are expressive compositional dominants in the historical environment of cities. The most famous monastic complexes in Ternopil include the Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra, the main buildings of which were built in the union period, the Basilian Monastery in Buchach, the Uhornytsky (Pidhoryansky) Monastery, and the Basilian Monastery near Strusov. The buildings of monasteries are monuments of sacred art and important objects of national cultural heritage. Innovations that affected the ideological doctrine were reflected in the construction of the church: from a closed space monasteries turned into representative open complexes. In the interior of the temples, low partitions were replaced by wall altars, confessionals appeared, and so on. Some of the surviving altars today are masterpieces of sacred art. The Basilian monasteries reached their peak in the Baroque era under the patronage of wealthy families and with the involvement of leading European and Ukrainian architects. Their architecture forms the historical and cultural appearance of the Ternopil region. Monasteries represented the Western Ukrainian identity, performed sacred, defensive, cultural, functions, became an important part of the planning and figurative structure of cities and still give them an ideological color. The research convinces us of the importance of preserving monastic complexes, which carry the genetic memory of the nation, help to reconnect with our own historical past and complement our knowledge of the history of architecture.

Abstract (sommario):
Out of 110 early printed Cyrillic liturgical Tetraevangelia, five were issued by the printing house of the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra. All of them appeared in the 2nd half of the 18th century and were intended for the use in the Uniate, i.e., Greek-Catholic, Church. A text critical study of different texts from various parts of Tetraevangelia has suggested that the Gospel edition issued in Kyiv in 1746 was used by printers in Pochaiv to prepare their first liturgical Tetraevangelion. This publication is focused on the textual analysis of menologia present in early printed Cyrillic Tetraevangelia, with particular attention given to the saints and feasts, as well as verbatim correspondence of commemorations and liturgical rubrics. Its results allow to conclude that the first Tetraevangelion issued at the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra in 1759, was prepared on the basis of the Gospel edition issued at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in 1746. Liturgical rubrics in the first Pochaiv Tetraevangelion were adjusted to the liturgical tradition of the Greek-Catholic Church. Four further Pochaiv liturgical Gospel editions copied, with some minor corrections, the menologion of the first one.

Abstract (sommario):
This study analyzes the formation factors and major centres and shrines of pilgrimage and religious tourism in the Western region of Ukraine. The article presents structure of the religious space of 8 regions of Western Ukraine in the context of major Christian denominations. According to the latest statistics in the West of Ukraine, among the Christian denominations we can see dominance of believers and communities of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate and the Roman Catholic Church. The main pilgrimage centres that represent the Christian denominations of the region are characterized by attracting their faithful and at the same time serving as religious tourism centres for a wider range of people. These include, among others: Univ Lavra, Krekhiv and Hoshiv Monasteries, the Marian Spiritual Centre in Zarvanytsia (Greek-Catholic Church); Maniava Skete, St. George Monastery on the Cossack Graves (Orthodox Church of Ukraine); Pochayiv Lavra, Zymne and Mezhyrich Monasteries, Monasteries in Bukovyna and Transcarpathia (Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate). At the same time, the Roman Catholic Church is represented by sanctuaries: Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lviv, churches in Stryi, Bilshivtsi, Chortkiv, Letychiv and other settlements. The annual number of visitors to these major centres is between 30 and 100 thousand people a year. Regarding non-Christian religions, there are important shrines in the region for Hasidic pilgrims in Belz, Medzhybizh and other towns. At the same time, a number of regional centres are important destinations. There are many temples in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Ternopil, which, given the presence of objects of religious worship and significant architectural appeal, perform both a pilgrimage and a religious-tourist function. Religious shrines, which are primarily of natural origin, are often an important component of the pilgrimage-tourist movement in the West of Ukraine. These include the appearance of the Virgin Mary, including individual hills or springs, as well as ancient cave monasteries. Numerous pilgrimage and travel agencies actively promote visits of believers and tourists to them. Development of religious and pilgrimage centres is related to the development of service infrastructure, service complexes and a network of different types of accommodation. It may be recommended to organize more educational and scholarly events of ecumenical nature and meetings of faithful of different denominations in the well-known religious centres of the region. Key words: pilgrimage, religious tourism, denominations, temple, shrine, pilgrimage centre, infrastructure.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper studies the practices of monks in the Pochaiv Basilian monastery printing house in the 18th century. It was one of the typical Ukrainian monastery typographies of the premodern time. Monks-professional, together with other non-monks’ staff (engravers, foundries, etc.), ensured the functioning of the mentioned printing house. Research on the visitation descriptions of the 1730s and 1770s has found that up to seven monks worked in the typography. The cited archival sources traced the dynamics of monks’ practices in the printing house of that time. In the 1730s, young 20 years old Basilians operated the Pochaiv typography under the chief elder hieromonk called prefect. They all worked without any payment because of some obedience within the monastery community life. In the 1770s, learners of the local monastery printing house still provided most of its activities. These Basilians started their monastery life in Pochaiv and learned printing crafts there. Because the type of monastery printing house strictly regulated its activities without non-monastic practices, monks had to learn printing affairs and be effective in typography without breaking clausura rules. That was impossible if they left monasteries (disobeyed clausura) and had lessons in craftsman, for instance, in Lviv. If Basilians with local primary schooling carried out almost all technical issues in the typography, then more educated and skilled monks censored and corrected editions there. They also started monks’ life in the local Pochaiv monastery but later graduated from philosophical and theological studies within Ruthenian Basilian province or, less often, in Rome. The paper concludes that monks-professionals fixed out a successful Pochaiv printing house that was approved not only by high-quality editions but by a simple fact – 40% of all monastery incomes in some decades from the typography. Keywords: Pochaiv monastery, Basilians, monastery printing house, prefect of typography

Abstract (sommario):
A survey study of the general hydroecological status of the historical small rivers of the same name Lybed and Pochayna, known since the Middle Ages (10th-11th centuries) in the Dnieper basin in Ukraine and in the Volga basin in the Russian Federation (RF), has been carried out. These rivers, many centuries ago, were natural objects around which cities formed, and in our time they turned out to be “absorbed” by cities. The state of six small rivers was analyzed: Lybed and Pochayna – tributaries of the Dnieper, Kiev, Ukraine; Lybed and Pochayna – Klyazma tributaries (Volga basin), Vladimir, Russia; Lybed – a tributary of the Oka (Volga basin), Ryazan, Russia; Pochayna – a tributary of the Volga, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. According to hydromorphological indicators of the state of the rivers (catchment area and water content), the studied ones relate to rivers of very small size and very low water content. A significant part of the channel of these rivers is enclosed in a reservoir (41-100%). The hydroecological condition of these rivers is unsatisfactory, water is prone to pollution. The Pochaina River – a tributary of the Dnieper in Kiev (Ukraine) and the Pochaina River – a tributary of the Volga in Nizhny Novgorod (RF) turned into lost natural heritage sites. Given the involvement in urban infrastructure, the morphometric parameters of the six rivers considered are the greatest prerequisites for being more or less revitalized in the river Lybed – the right tributary of the Dnieper in Kiev (Ukraine).

The purpose of this article is to present the role of religious texts in the analysis of common language of the people of the former Commonwealth of the Two Nations. The subject of the analysis is the text Bohoslowija nrawouczytelnaja... published in the basilian’s printing house in Pochayev in 1751. Textual features of living Ukrainian language (approximation of articulation [i] and [y], hardness [t] and [d], morphological features) are common tendencies, and can be a testimony of the state of the Ukrainian language of the eighteenth century. The analysis supports the thesis of evolutionary development of Ukrainian written language.

Abstract (sommario):
Ricaniidae is a relatively small planthopper family with about 69 genera and 442 species worldwide. Members of this family occur throughout the warm temperate and tropical regions. Some species cause devastating damage to major agricultural and economic plants. However, the relationship between Ricaniidae and other families of Fulgoroidea needs to be further explored. The morphological definitions of the two biggest genera, Pochazia Amyot & Serville, 1843 and Ricania Germar, 1818 (the type genus of Ricaniidae) remain controversial. In this study, mitogenomes of five representatives in these two genera were decoded using the next-generation sequence method and genome assembly. Results showed that their complete mitogenomes are circular DNA molecules with 15,457 to 16,411 bp. All protein-coding genes (PCGs) begin with the start codon ATN, GTG or TTG and end with TAA, TAG, an incomplete stop codon single T or an incomplete stop codon single A. A lost DHU arm was discovered in the trnS gene of the five mitogenomes and the trnV gene within Pochaziaconfusa, Pochazia guttifera and Ricania simulans. The remnant tRNAs folded into clover-leaf structures. The sliding window, genetic distance, and Ka/Ks analyses indicated that the cox1 gene is the slowest evolving and is relatively conserved. The phylogenetic tree topologies support (Delphacidae + (((Issidae + (Lophopidae + Caliscelidae)) + (Flatidae + Ricaniidae)) + (Achilidae + (Dictyopharidae + Fulgoridae)))) as the best topology, as recognized by both PhyloBayes, RAxML and MrBayes based on four data sets (PCG, PCGRNA, PCG12, PCG12RNA). The monophyly of Ricaniidae and the sister group status of two families Flatidae and Ricaniidae are supported, but all analyses failed to support the monophyly of Pochazia and Ricania. The diagnoses between these two genera cannot be resolved until more evidence is acquired.

Abstract (sommario):
The purpose of the paper is to study the struggle for economic dominance of Pochaiv branch of the Union of the Russian People and the Orthodox clergy of Volyn at the beginning of the 20th century. The key factors that influenced the activity of economic and financial institutions that were under the influence of the Black Hundreds are analyzed. The scientific novelty of the study: based on archival documents and materials of the Black Hundreds’ press, the peculiarities of the struggle for the economic dominance of the Black Hundreds and the Orthodox clergy in Volyn at the beginning of the 20th century are clarified, and the results of the activities of the Union of the Russian People and their role in the aggravation of international relations are analyzed. Conclusions. It is proven that since the beginning of its activity, Pochaiv branch of the Union of the Russian People had launched an active and purposeful campaign to create a strong network of primary centers in the region. With the support of the imperial authorities and the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church, which played an active role in the process of formation of the organization, the ‘allies’ managed to achieve their goal quite quickly. They put the struggle against ‘non-Russians’ as one of their priority tasks. Taking into account that during the studied period in Volyn, Poles, Jews, and, to a lesser extent, German agrarian colonists played a key role in the economy, just with those ethnic groups the Black Hundreds began the struggle for economic dominance. They saw one of their main tasks in that field of activity in creating a number of small credit societies and opening consumer stores. Covering up themselves with demagogic slogans about Jewish usury, they actively promoted the organization’s ideology through the named institutions with the help of the influence of parish priests. In 1911, thanks to the persistent efforts of the Head of Pochaiv branch of the Union of the Russian People, Archimandrite Vitalii, the Black Hundreds managed to open their own bank, the main declared purpose of which was to help the peasants purchase land and oppose non-Russians in that. Due to the use of demagogic slogans, the Black Hundreds succeeded in achieving certain positive results in their efforts and strengthened their economic position in the region shortly before the First World War. However, that area of activity of the Union of the Russian People contributed to an even greater aggravation of inter-ethnic relations in Volyn during the period under study.

Abstract (sommario):
An invasive species, Pochazia shantungensis (Hemiptera: Ricaniidae), causes serious economic damage to fruit trees. In Korea, this pest is mainly managed using chemical insecticides. However, the management timing and insecticides for P. shantungensis negatively affect honeybee populations. Thus, this study estimated the decision-making level for P. shantungensis in persimmons to decrease insecticide application and increase management efficiency. We determined which developmental stage (i.e., egg, nymph, and adult) affected the damage-related factors (numbers of new shoots and fruit formations, and harvest amount) of persimmons using both spatial analyses and linear relationships. The distribution of P. shantungensis eggs was spatially correlated with the one of persimmon fruit number. However, we did not find any linear relationships between the densities of P. shantungensis eggs and damage-related factors of persimmons. Instead, we found that the density of P. shantungensis correlated with the death of oviposited branches. From the developed model of branch death possibility based on egg mass density, 5.75 egg masses per newly developed branch were proposed as the decision-making level. The findings would help increase the efficiency of P. shantungensis management in persimmon orchards and develop decision-making levels for other insects.

Abstract (sommario):
The extremely important issue of today is the return of coastal areas to city dwellers. The peculiarities of urban, landscape and integrated directions of organization of coastal territories are considered with the definition of their advantages and disadvantages. Bright examples of all three principles of coastal development are given. The basic town-planning methods of the organization of coastal territories are defined. The focus is on the urgency of reviving natural ecosystems in cities by revitalizing urban rivers with the return of rivers to their natural qualities - natural bed, flora, fauna, ecotones, which will improve the atmosphere of the urban environment, microclimate, create recreation areas for citizens. The most striking example of successful revitalization project is the revival of the Chongecheong River in Seoul (South Korea). The creation of Pochayna Park in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv with the revival of the small Pochayna River by Kyiv designers and architects in partnership with Korean colleagues was presented. The creation of public spaces in coastal areas is a condition for improving the quality of life of urban residents. Concern for the human dimension in cities is at the heart of these projects. The realized project on revival of the small river Yahorlyk in Odesa region is given. Revitalization of the small river Yahorlyk launched a campaign to revive Ukrainian rivers.

Abstract (sommario):
The article considers the attitude of a famous cleric and the most prominent representative of the Black Hundred movement in Volhynia, Archbishop Vitaly (Maximenko), towards the theory and practice of socialism. The views of Father Vitaly on socialist doctrine are reconstructed here based on periodicals and his writings, most of which are introduced into the academic discourse for the first time. The article demonstrates that the Archimandrite of the Pochaev Lavra took a dim view both of socialists themselves and the main points of their doctrine and their practical implementation. He denied the idea of blending Christianity and socialism. At the same time, Vitaly (Maximenko) developed intense socio-economic activities aiming to relieve the plight of the Volhynian peasantry and prevent it from becoming a social base of left-wing parties. Rejecting socialism as a political ideology and condemning it from the religious perspective, the Pochaev Archimandrite still properly understood the needs and aspirations of Volhynian peasants. He managed to tear them away from the influence of the leftist parties and organized them into the largest department of the Union of the Russian People.

Abstract (sommario):
The article considers the postulate that the tourist is a resource (monetary), and then the main mission of territorial communities is to attract him to their development, using various methods. Combining the principle of tourist attraction, infrastructure, and hospitality on the one hand and attracting new resources (capital investments) is a prerequisite for long-term planning. Therefore, the question of strategic management in the development of tourism arises. Pilgrimage tourism faced new challenges related to Russia's aggression (war) against Ukraine, which led to the emergence of an even greater desire of believers to pray together for soldiers, for the success of military operations, as well as spiritual self-purification and become a real Christian, not just a practicing one. Within Ternopil region, 3 pilgrimage districts are clearly visible, namely Northern, Central, and Southern. Northern district, the routes of which run through the territory of the Kremetskyi administrative district. It covers the district center and 14 pilgrimage sites, of which only five sights are the most visited (Pochaiv city, Vyshnievets village, Mali Zagaytsi village, Stary Pochaiv village, Velyki Berezhtsi village, Lishnya village) . The total number of sacred objects of pilgrimage is 19.2% of the indicator in the Ternopil region. However, in terms of value, they are probably on a par with other regions. The central object of pilgrimage here is the city of Pochaiv. Central district routes, which run through the territory of the Ternopil administrative district. It covers the regional and at the same time district center and 36 pilgrimage sites, of which only 11 are the most visited, located in (the village of Zarvanytsia, the city of Ternopil, the village of Kolodiivka, the village of Krasnopuscha, the village of Skoriki, the village of Zadrist) . The central object of pilgrimage here is the village. Zarvanytsia This area has the largest number of sacred objects (36, which is 49.3% of all in the region) and the centers of diocesan denominations operate. In Ternopil, this is primarily the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ (the center of the Ternopil-Buchatka Diocese of the OCU), the Cathedral of Saints Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Elena (the center of the Ternopil Eparchy of the OCU); the Cathedral of Faith, Hope, Love and their Matter Sophia (the center of the Ternopil Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP); the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Mother of God (the center of the Ternopil-Zboriv Metropolitanate, which includes the Ternopil-Zboriv Archdiocese), etc. Routes of the southern district, which run through the territory of the Chortkiv administrative district. It covers the district center and 23 pilgrimage sites, of which only 3 are the most visited, located in (the village of Yazlivets, the village of Ulashkivtsi, the village of Savelyvka). The central object of pilgrimage here is the village. Yazlivets miraculous figure of the Mother of God (copy). In this area there is a large number of sacred objects (23, which is 31.5% of all in the region) and there are centers of diocesan denominations. Ternopil-Terebovlyan Eparchy of the OCU and Buchach Greek-Catholic Eparchy, which is part of the Ternopil-Zboriv Metropolitanate. The isolated geospatial structure of pilgrimage routes and its detailed characteristics show, however, that there is a certain delay in the response of both state and church structures, which do not take into account the change in regional determinants of economic growth. Key words: pilgrimage, pilgrimage tourism, pilgrimage routes.

The subject of this study is the history of the last years of the existence of the Pochaev Holy Spirit Skete in the Soviet period, the circumstances of its closure and the direct activities of Archbishop Palladiy (Kaminsky), who acted as a fearless defender of this monastery. On the example of the Pochaev skete, one can trace some features of the religious policy of the Communist Party in the Ukrainian SSR, where Soviet power was established only in 1939, which could not have a special effect on church-state relations. The source base consists of quarterly and annual reports of the commissioners of the Council for the Affairs of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Ternopil region, which we find in the State Archive of the Russian Federation and the State Archive of the Ternopil region. Thanks to the analysis of archival materials, we come to the conclusion about the destructive policy of the Soviet government aimed at combating the Russian Church in the territory of the Ternopil region. The main object of the above-mentioned policy was the Pochaev Lavra and its Dukhovskoy skete. The Soviet authorities were unable to achieve the complete liquidation of Orthodox monasteries in the Ternopil diocese thanks to the diplomatic talent of Archbishop Palladiy, who paid for it with another transfer to another department of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper describes selection and justification of metrobus route in Kyiv. Object of the study - Kyiv transport system. Purpose of the study - selection and justification of metrobus route in Kyiv. Method of the study - statistical analysis, synthesis, formalization and generalization. Metrobus is a promising public transport system in cities, because it has low cost and high speed of construction of line compared to rail transport, high speed of movement in dedicated lanes, ability to flexibly change the passenger flow due to changes in bus traffic, ability to partially use metrobus lane for other special vehicles, low-cost travel due to high passenger capacity and efficient payment systems, reduction of air pollution, and its absence when using electric buses. Analyzed the current state of public transport in Kyiv. It was found that the most acute problem with transport is in the residential area Vyhurivshchyna-Troieshchyna. Driving time in rush hours from Pochayna metro station in the direction of Vygurovshchina-Troeshchina is increases by 10-27 min. compared to nighttime hours, when traffic is low, and the accidents or road works can further increase it. Metrobus route Miloslavska St. - Pochayna metro station was proposed. The route has a total length of 11.1 km and has 13 stops. Average distance between stops is 854 m and fits into the generally accepted norms used in construction of metrobus lines (800-1200 m). This will solve transport problem on this route and reduce average driving time to 18.5 minutes only using dedicated lanes. The results of the article can be used to design metrobus line and to determine of vehicles performance properties that will be used on them. Abstract (sommario):
The taxonomic identity of the invasive Asian Ricaniid planthopper, Pochazia shantungensis (Chou & Lu, 1977) in Japan is reevaluated. This originally Chinese planthopper is highly polyphagous and has recently become an important pest in Korea. In 2015, this species was first documented from Sakai, Osaka Prefecture and has been widespread since then. The genital structures, wings and fifth instar nymph are described and illustrated. The host plants in Japan are also documented with photographs. The male genitalia of a similar species, P. sublimata (Jacobi, 1916), are illustrated as well. As a recently introduced pest in Japan, P. shantungensis needs to be monitored for its potential spread and for the damage it may cause to agriculture.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper studies the problem of the unification of the liturgical books in the Basilian monasteries of the Lviv eparchy in the second half of the 18th century. Research concentrates on the problem of Zamość council resolution implementation by analyzing the “church books” in the monasteries of Basilians. Investigating the “book lists” from inventory descriptions and protocols of visitations allows to trace changes in the monasteries concerning the “church books” as it was fixed in the documents, a major part of which used for this research are from the Lviv archives. Among the main indicators of a certain liturgical tradition are the texts of the Liturgicon and the Euchologion. In the second half of the 18th century, the presence of Univ and Pochaiv Liturgicon and Euchologion was selective since we do not have data for all decades for all monasteries. At the same time, such an analysis allows tracing a clear tendency – the full-fledged unification of liturgical literature in Basilian monasteries can be noted at the start of the 1760s.

Abstract (sommario):
Printing was one of the elements of various missionary activities of the Basilians. Their typographies were functioning in the 18th century at monasteries in Vilnius, Suprasl, Uniev, Pochaiev and Lvov. They printed texts written in Polish, Latin, Orthodox Church language, but also in prosta mova, which was the basic means of communication of the Uniate faithful. In that language, not only religious but also secular texts were printed. In both types of texts, you can find elements related to the upbringing of young people. The analysis of those texts leads to the conclusion that they should be considered in terms of social didactics. They shaped the social culture (issues of civil society, shaping social justice, etc.) and personal culture of the Ruthenians (savoir vivre rules) in 18 ct.

The importance of pilgrimage in the region due to the circumstances has been determined. The basic concepts inherent in pilgrimage tourism are analyzed. It is established that the region has all the prerequisites for the further functioning of pilgrimage activities. It was found that the first places were taken by well-known centers of sacred tourism in Ukraine and abroad - Pochaiv, Zarvanytsia. Next are, Ternopil, town. Vyshnivets, Terebovlia, Buchach, which are also well combined with the available historical and cultural resources and torment to tourism. The main methods were geographical, historical, cultural analysis, using a wide range of materials from literary sources and departmental institutions. Recommendations for the development of specific pilgrimage routes have been developed. The conducted analysis testifies to high potential of religious (pilgrim) tourism and feature of his establishment within the limits of area. It is important enough as opens the prospects of rapprochement of theory and practice in modern scientific. Undertaken a study accents attention on society-geographical approaches in relation to to potential of religious tourism in Ukraine, assists forming of modern concept-category vehicle of theoretical geography of religion and determines the main vectors of development of religious tourism in measuring of the applied society-geographical science. In the Ternopil area there are all possibilities for forming of pilgrim streams, in fact in a region there are pilgrim places of national and regional value, that assist bringing in of additional investments in development of pilgrim infrastructure. From all objects of pilgrimage the developed pilgrim infrastructure is had sacral objects that is located in 34 settlements. On the type of settlements, it is a regional center, row of district centers and cities of regional value. The traditional centers of gravity for Christians-pilgrims in Ternopil are, Pochaiv, Zarvanytsia, Berezhany Kremenets. Thus, in sacral space of Christianity a region is on a pilgrim ways, that it is necessary to use for development of religious tourism and forming of pilgrim market. By the most widespread problems that brake development of pilgrimage, a pilgrim infrastructure is developed not enough, in particular system of a transport service, subzero enterprise activity in the field of it, providing of the proper level of development of social infrastructure on a pilgrim Creation the cluster of tourism of pilgrim would be instrumental in forming and realization of competitive complex regional tourist products. Territorial societies of certain territories, representatives of small and middle business, which work in industry of tourism and concomitant spheres, private biasness which will be plugged in the system of grant of tourist and concomitant services in territorial clusters. Rich natural resource potential, historical and cultural heritage, advantageous territorial location and ecological state contribute to the development of the tourism industry of the Ternopil region. However, the tourist potential of the region is not fully used, since the main tourist objects and routes are not sufficiently equipped. Key words: pilgrimage, pilgrimage tourism, pilgrimage routes.

Abstract (sommario):
The sperm ultrastructure of two ricaniid species, Pochazia shantungensis (Chou & Lu) and Ricania speculum (Walker), was investigated using light and transmission electron microscopy. Both species have monoflagellate sperm, the shape and ultrastructure of the mature spermatozoon of these two species are similar in morphology, and 128 spermatozoa are organized into sperm bundles with their heads embedded in a homogenous matrix forming the spermatodesmata. The individual sperm is filiform and includes the head, neck and flagellum. The head is needle-like, with a bilayer acrosome and an inferior elongated nucleus which is formed of homogeneously compact and electron-dense chromatin. The neck region is indistinct and is comprised of the centriole and centriole adjunct with a homogeneous dense substance. The long flagellum has the typical 9 + 9 + 2 axoneme microtubule pattern and two symmetrical mitochondrial derivatives with an orderly array of cristae flanking both sides, and a pair of well-developed fishhook-shaped accessory bodies. Current evidence shows that ricaniid species have D-shaped mitochondrial derivatives in cross-section and a serrated electron-dense region. The phylogenetic relationship of Fulgoroidea with other superfamilies in Auchenorrhyncha is briefly discussed.

Abstract (sommario):
The article focuses on the textual history of the Ruthenian translation of the Czech book entitled Lucidář (Lucidarius), a medieval encyclopedic treatise consisting of the student’s questions and the teacher’s answers, which was most widespread in the Cyrillic manuscript tradition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland). This translation was made in 1636 from a non-extant edition (*Olomouc, 1622) and is represented by at least nine manuscript copies: five of them have been published and other four still remain practically unknown (kept at St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl). The latest manuscript copy of the early 19th century, which is of Ukrainian origin and is now kept in the collection of T. V. Kibalchich (St. Petersburg, National Library of Russia, Main Collection of the Manuscript Books (f. 550), Q.I.910, 21 f.), contains interpolations from three printed sources: Ioannikiy Galyatovsky’s Ključ razuměnija (Kyiv, 1659 or Lviv, 1663 or 1665), Cyril Tranquillion-Stavrovetsky’s Zercalo bogoslovija (Pochaiv, 1618 or Univ, 1692), andthe Chronicle by Dimitry of Rostov (Moscow, 1799–1800). These interpolations testify to the textual development of the Ruthenian translation of the Czech Lucidarius at the very end of its manuscript tradition. In the manuscript, the sources of these interpolations are explicitaly named without indicating the year and place of publication. The present article aims to establish the methods applied by an anonymous scribe to his printed sources and to identify the editions used by the compiler.

Rudakevych, Ivan. "GEOSPATIAL ASPECTS OF FINANCIAL CAPACITY OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF TERNOPIL REGION". SCIENTIFIC ISSUES OF TERNOPIL VOLODYMYR HNATIUK NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY. SERIES: GEOGRAPHY 54, n. 1 (11 luglio 2023): 68–78. http://dx.doi.org/10.25128/2519-4577.23.1.8.

Abstract (sommario):
In the article geospatial aspects of the financial capacity of territorial communities of Ternopil region are described. The need to conduct such a study has been updated, since not all communities in the region were financially capable after their creation. Scientific studies on the subject of financial capacity of territorial communities are characterized. Criteria for determining the financial capacity of territorial communities were defined according to the methodology of the ministry of community and territory development of Ukraine. For this research were used following indicators: revenues of the general fund of the local budget, the amount of subsidies and interbudgetary transfers. The largest local budget revenues in 2021 were mainly received by larger urban communities (Ternopil, Chortkiv, Zbarazh) and Baikivtsi and Velyka Berezovytsia rural territorial communities. Their income amounted to more than 100 million hryvnias. Ternopil and Baikivtsi territorial communities received the largest local budget revenues per inhabitant. A group of suburban communities around the city of Ternopil stands out, in which budget revenues are higher than the average for the region. The lowest level of revenues of the general fund of local budgets in 2021 was received by Zolotyi Potik, Koropets and Mel’nytsia-Podil’ska territorial communities, which are located in the peripheral zone in the south of the region. The reason for the low incomes of these communities is their distance from economic centers, weak development of transport infrastructure and local business. Ternopil City Territorial Community has the highest local budget expenditures - 2.8 billion hryvnias. Budget expenditures are also quite high in the urban communities of Borshchiv, Buchach, Zbarazh, Kremenets, Terebovlia, and Chortkiv. The main reason for such high expenses is the presence of many social infrastructure institutions. In turn, the lowest expenditures of local budgets are mainly rural communities with a small amount of social facilities: Ivanivka, Kozliv, Ivane-Puste, Koropets, Kupchyntsi. The highest budget expenditures per inhabitant in 2021 were in Baikivtsi, Pochaiv and Ternopil territorial communities. In all communities of the Ternopil region in 2021, the expenditures of local budgets exceeded their revenues, that is, a budget deficit arose. The biggest difference between income and expenses (budget deficit) was observed in Ternopil, Buchach, Kremenets, and Zbarazh urban territorial communities. The smallest budget deficit was in Velyki Birky and Trybukhivtsi rural communities. In terms of percentage, the difference between income and expenses was almost 12% in Baikovtsi communities, 20-30% in Velyki Birky, Velyka Berezovytsia, Trybukhivtsi, Chortkiv, Velyki Hai and Ternopil territorial communities. However, only 26-28% of expenses can be financed from the revenues of the general fund of the budget in Zolotyi Potik, Koropets, Mel’nytsia-Podil’ska territorial communities. These communities are underdeveloped with low own budget revenues, which is indicated their low financial capacity. To cover the deficit of the local budget, territorial communities of the Ternopil region most often use transfers from the budgets of higher levels. A high amount of transfers per inhabitant indicates the low financial capacity of the community, especially in comparison with the income of its budget. The highest amount of transfers to the local budget in 2021 was received by the Ternopil City Territorial Community - 1.437 billion hryvnias. A large amount of involved transfers is also in the budgets of Borschiv, Buchach, Chortkiv, Kremenets, Terebovlia, Zalishchyky, Zbarazh and Shumsk communities. The reason for this is the presence of many objects of social infrastructure and communal services in these urban communities. The communities of Ivanivka, Kozliv, Bil’che-Zolote, and Velyki Birky required the smallest amount of transfers - less than 20 million hryvnias in 2021. At the same time, the local budgets of the Ternopil, Baikivtsi, Velyki Birky communities in 2021 paid a reverse subsidy to the state budget thanks to high revenues. In 21 territorial communities of the Ternopil region in 2021, budget revenues exceeded the amount of transfers. Baikivtsi, Velyki Birky, Velyka Berezovytsia, and Chortkiv communities had the best indicators. In 24 communities of the region, the amount of inter-budgetary transfers exceeds the incomes of local budgets. The worst situation is in Zolotyi Potik, Koropets, Lopushne and Melnytsia-Podilska communities, where the amount of transfers is 2,5-3 times higher than budget revenues. Zolotyi Potik, Koropets, Lopushne, Mel’nytsia-Podil’ska, Vyshnivets, Pochaiv territorial communities are unable to provide the majority of budget expenditures at the expense of their own revenues, since their budget revenues depend on 50-75% of transfers from the state and regional budgets. In the article presented maps, where it is possible to trace groups of communities according to the level of their incomes, expenditures and inter-budgetary transfers. In the Ternopil region, several groups of territorial communities can be distinguished according to the peculiarities of their financial capacity: financially capable communities (Baikivtsi, Velyki Birky, Velyka Berezovytsia, Trybukhivtsi), conditionally financially capable communities (Bila, Velyki Hai, Ivanivka, Pidhorodne, Pidhaitsi, Ternopil, Chortkiv), communities with low level of financial capacity (Buchach, Zalishchyky, Kopychyntsi, Monastyryska, Pochaiv, Shumsk urban communities), financially incapable communities (Vyshnivets, Zolotyi Potik, Koropets, Lopushne, Mel’nytsia-Podil’ska). The results of this research can be used to improving administrative division of the Ternopil region, for analytical studies of the budget policy of communities, strategic plans, and the development of territories. Key words: budget, financial capacity, revenue, Ternopil region, territorial community, transfer.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper proposes to model bus movement on metrobus route using driving cycles. Object of the study – bus traction-speed properties and fuel efficiency. Purpose of the study – model bus movement on metrobus route using driving cycles. Method of the study – analytical, mathematical modeling. Mathematical modeling can be used to assess metrobus system effectiveness, selection and justification of its rolling stock. It allows at the design stage determine performance properties of individual bus or metrobus system as a whole. Bus movement on metrobus route was proposed to model by using driving cycle, which reflects real operating conditions. It consists of successive sections, which include acceleration, movement with constant speed, braking and engine idle. Metrobus route Miloslavska St. – Pochayna metro station was chosen. It has 13 stops and 12 section. Each section of the route is simulated using a section of driving cycle one of two types and includes five different phases of movement. Driving cycle and mathematical model built on its basis allows to determine parameters of bus traction-speed properties and fuel efficiency (travel time, average speed and fuel consumption).
