This research aims to observe and describe the orientation of Maslahah in Sofyan Inn Hotel UNISI Yogyakarta. The measurement of the performance process and the performance of the result of Sofyan Inn Hotel UNISI Yogyakarta was conducted through Maslahah Scorecard (MaSC) approach. This is a qualitative-descriptive research with the type of field research. The data were collected using the method of observation, documentation and interview in which the results of this were measured and analyzed using Maslahah Scorecard (MaSC) approach Maslahah scorecard (MaSC)is a assessment tool developed by Ahmad Firdaus measuring the performance of an organization through two phases: assessing the business in achieving the Maslahah (process performance) and assessing the outputs of the Maslahah performance (performance of output). The results of this research showed that Sofyan Inn Hotel UNISI Yogyakarta has implemented six orientations of benefit (Maslahah) including the orientation of worship, orientation of internal process, orientation of talent or workforce, orientation of learning, orientation of customers, and orientation of wealth. In the performance of process in Sofyan Inn Hotel UNISI Yogyakarta it obtained the score of 0.780 and in the performance of the output of the Sofyan Inn Hotel UNISI Yogyakartait obtained the score of 0,994.

Although previous reports suggest interactions between endocrine and exocrine pancreas, insulin's effect on pancreatic exocrine function remains unclear. Chronic pancreatic fistulas were created in six dogs with innervated INN and five dogs with denervated (DEN) pancreata; these animals were studied using the euglycemic, hyperinsulinemic clamp technique. After a 30-min unstimulated period, both groups received a 60-min 1.5 mU.kg-1.min-1 insulin (clamp) or vehicle (control) infusion. Intravenous secretin was then initiated at 16 ng.kg-1.h-1; the secretin dose was doubled every 30 min until 125 ng.kg-1.h-1 was achieved. These studies were then repeated in INN animals during infusion of a 10 micrograms.kg-1.h-1 atropine background. Finally, INN animals underwent a similar unstimulated period followed by a 1.25 mU.kg-1.min-1 insulin (clamp) or vehicle (control) infusion. after 60 min, a 64 ng.kg-1.h-1 secretin infusion was initiated. Insulin infusion was then increased by 0.25 mU.kg-1.min-1 at 30-min intervals until 2.0 mU.kg-1.min-1 was reached. Unstimulated (0-30 min) serum glucose and insulin levels and pancreatic bicarbonate and protein outputs did not differ between groups. Clamp (30-90 min) and stimulated (90-210 min) insulin were each significantly elevate in clamp groups (81.9 +/- 2.4 vs. 7.0 +/- 0.3 microU/ml, P < 0.001); glucose and bicarbonate were unchanged. Protein outputs during clamp (64 +/- 9 vs. 24 +/- 6 mg/10 min; P < 0.05) and secretin-stimulated (52 +/- 9 vs. 29 +/- 3 mg/10 min; P < 0.05) periods were diminished by atropine but were unaffected by insulin. Secretin-stimulated (90-210 min) bicarbonate output was diminished by insulin (0.03 +/- 0.01 vs. 0.31 +/- 0.05 meq/10 min; P < 0.003) in INN but not DEN animals; this effect was partially reversed by atropine. Dose-response studies demonstrated a threshold for insulin's inhibitory actions between 1.5 and 1.75 mU.kg-1.min-1. These data provide further evidence for exocrine-endocrine regulatory interactions and suggest that insulin may influence secretin's stimulation of ductal cell secretion by a mechanism that is at least partially cholinergic in character.

Abstract Individual plant treatment (IPT) techniques (e.g., basal bark, cut stump, hack and squirt) are used for woody invasive plant management and often rely on small trigger-pump spray bottles as an economical and efficient way to deliver a herbicide to the target species. Worldwide, plastic suppliers produce many models and designs with a wide range of uses, including pesticide application. However, spray bottle performance has rarely been examined in relation to IPT techniques for operational invasive plant management. We tested 10 commonly available spray bottles for trigger output and variation over repeated strokes. We also examined sustained trigger sprayer performance over a 6-wk period for spray bottles containing water or basal oil carriers blended with amine and ester formulations of triclopyr, respectively. In the first study, we found significant differences in spray output per stroke between almost every bottle tested. Almost all spray bottle brands yielded outputs greater than 1.0 ml per stroke, which exceeds the maximum application amount specified for hack and squirt. Several bottles produced an output of greater than 2.5 ml per stroke. In the second study, the output per stroke was reduced for basal oil mixes, with significant reductions measured for two brands by 21 d and for all three brands tested by 42 d after mixing. These results indicate that consumer-grade trigger sprayers are likely to depreciate rapidly with routine operational use without proper hygiene maintenance. Even then it is likely that these application devices may need to be replaced several times annually. Trigger-pump spray bottles are an economical and practical solution for remote field operations and volunteer weed control activities. These sprayers are most suitable for spray-to-wet techniques such as basal bark and cut-surface treatments but may potentially be less suited for hack and squirt application, which often requires sub-milliliter precision.

AbstractLesser celandine (Ficaria verna Huds.), an invasive plant from Europe, is becoming widespread in river valleys throughout the northeastern United States and the Pacific Northwest. Its high rate of asexual bulbil and tuber production creates dense infestations threatening native spring ephemerals. Ficaria verna abundance and reproductive output (seeds, bulbils, and tubers) were examined in invaded transects spanning a disturbance gradient away from a river. Site characteristics (photosynthetically active radiation [PAR], soil pH, moisture, texture, and nutrients) were quantified to examine their roles in plant abundance and reproduction. A larger-scale study examined random transects not specifically chosen based on F. verna infestations. Soil characteristics and slope were hypothesized to drive F. verna abundance and reproduction; we also hypothesized that reproductive output and biomass would be highest at intermediate distances from rivers, where disturbances are infrequent. Ficaria verna abundance and reproductive output varied considerably by site; soil characteristics, rather than landscape placement, appeared to drive plant abundance and reproduction. Lower percent sand was associated with significantly higher F. verna stem density and bulbil and tuber production. CEC was significantly negatively related to F. verna biomass and tuber counts. In the larger-scale survey, slope and PAR were significantly negatively related to F. verna presence and percent cover, respectively. Overall, these findings suggest that soil texture and slope can help explain higher abundance and reproductive outputs. However, reproductive output and biomass were not significantly greater at intermediate distances, contrary to expectations. We did not observe any seed production in any of the plots, although we did see a few plants with seeds outside our study area in the second year, demonstrating a near-complete reliance on asexual reproduction in these populations. This study expands on the current limited understanding of F. verna and can help management by identifying areas likely to support dense infestations.

AnN-firm production game known as oligopoly will be examined with isoelastic price function and linear cost under al Cournot competition. After the best responses of the firms are determined, a dynamic system with adaptive expectations is introduced. It is first shown that the local asymptotic behavior of the system is identical with that of the adaptive adjustment process in which the firms cautiously determine their outputs. Dynamic analysis is confined to two special cases, one in whichNis divided into two groups and the other in whichNis divided into three groups. Then stability conditions will be derived and the global behavior of the equilibria will be illustrated including chaos control. Lastly the two- and three-group models are compared with two-firm (duopoly) and three-firm (triopoly) models to shed light on roles of the number of the firms.

Hal inilah yang mendasari penulis untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi reservasi tamu hotel bagi tamu yang berda diluar daerah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian qualitative dimana semua data yang dihasilkan akan dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam pembuatan sistem yang dibutuhkan dalam membangun sebuah aplikasi yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi komputer. Adapun tahap perancangan dengan model pengembangan perangkat lunak model RUP (relational unified proces) mengenai sistem yang sedang berjalan pada hotel happy inn kendari,. Selanjutnya adalah perancangan flowchart program, perancangan database, perancangan input dan output, pembuatan listing program dan kemudian pengujian terhadap program. Hasil penelitian ini berupa sebuah aplikasi yang digunakan untuk pengolahan data tamu hotel happy in kendari.

We have developed a statistical method for investigating the importance of different log measurements for picking the best zones for hydraulic fracturing. We have determined the method’s applicability using data from unconventional reservoirs (Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Barnett, and a reservoir from the Middle East). The analysis began with single log measurements (e.g., gamma ray [GR], compressional and shear sonic [DTC and DTS], and spectral gamma ray [SGR], which could measure the radioactivity of uranium [U], potassium [K], and thorium [Th]). Other types of measurements, including density (RhoB), neutron porosity (NPHI), and resistivity, were added to obtain more complex logging suites. These log measurements were the inputs for this analysis. Each input combination was referred to as a “scenario.” Parameters such as effective porosity (PhiE), brittleness, total organic carbon (TOC), production index (PI), and fracture index (FI) were referred to as the outputs for the analysis. We have investigated linear and nonlinear combinations of the inputs to predict the outputs. Various scenarios, beginning with the simplest cases and ending with the most complete combination, were tested. The selection of log combinations was either based on the importance of individual logs or on industry-standard combinations (such as triple and quad combos). For each scenario, we computed correlation coefficients and root-mean-square errors of predicting the output parameters. The prediction accuracies generally increased as a result of increasing the number of input logs. Our analysis clearly found the importance of using SGR (for PI and FI prediction) and resistivity (for TOC prediction) logs. Based on comparison of the reconstruction results, actual values, and correlation coefficients/errors, we ranked the log combinations for predicting/modeling a specific parameter. The most challenging properties to model included TOC, PhiE, PI, and FI; the easiest properties to predict were brittleness and Young’s modulus.

Karsted carbonates of the Ordovician Yingshan Formation represent significant hydrocarbon reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, China. Due to the geologic complexity of the formation, realistically predicting and modeling karst zones and rock properties is challenging. This drives the need to apply diverse techniques for building a suitable geologic model. We have developed a static model approach that uses fully automated seismic facies classification processes for predicting and modeling patterns associated with karst elements. Our method uses a seismic attribute and well logs as input data. We initially processed a seismic facies volume using the hierarchical clustering technique. This is based on seismic attribute values that take into account an optimal number of classes. The outcome reveals various patterns illustrated with low amplitudes highlighting the geomorphology of paleokarst elements. Simultaneously, a seismic traces map of the karsted interval was processed using the hybrid clustering technique conducted on seismic trace shape. In this case, the karst facies was extracted from the output and used as secondary input data in trend analysis of the model. Both outputs obtained from clustering techniques are processed in a volume of the most probable facies, which delineate the karst patterns. The results of the modeling process are visualized in various time slices and cross sections, appropriately recognizing the relationship of estimated patterns with karst zones. We have evaluated the karstification thickness and porosity map obtained from the 3D model that detail a reasonable connectivity between karst elements. This is based on the paleogeographic location and type of filling, as well as the dissolution development along the main striking faults. Finally, our method outputs a logical model of karst zones located within the host rock, which reduces the uncertainty and identify nonperforated segments.

The article considers a problem of stabilization of an aircraft, which can be solved by finding output control. Sufficient conditions for H-inf- output control for linear dynamic systems are obtained. Two approximate methods of closed-loop systems synthesis are proposed. The first one is based on finding a pseudo-inverse matrix of the linear measuring system model. The second one based on synthesizing an asymptotic observer, which allows to formulate an estimate of a state vector, giving a possibility of further use of the obtained estimate in the control law. The paper contains a step-by-step algorithm of finding an H-inf -control of a closed-loop system.

"Lately, an increasing number of countries have set up national bibliographic databases, which aim to achieve more comprehensive coverage of the national research outputs. These databases both increase the visibility of national publications and compensate the limited coverage of traditional citation databases, such as Scopus or Web of Science. National bibliographic databases are being increasingly used by a wide variety of stakeholders for numerous purposes, ranging from basic information retrieval and research outputs overview to bibliometric analysis, evaluation and research funding. The Republic of Moldova set up its national bibliographic database – National Bibliometric Instrument (IBN) in 2011. Nowadays, IBN includes over 113.000 articles published in national scientific journals, as well as conference proceedings from the Republic of Moldova starting from 1993 to date, with over 90% of publications indexed by Google Academic. IBN is used for the evaluation of national scientific journals and provides valuable insights on the overall evolution and trends of national research outputs, but is not being used for research funding. This paper aims to describe the history, actual structure and user possibilities of IBN. It also aims to analyse IBN design, organisation, maintenance and usage from the perspective of the Manual of good practices regarding national bibliographic databases, developed in the context of the ‘European Network for Research Evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities’ ENRESSH. Finally, the paper intends to provide a set of recommendations for IBN reengineering and improvement"

Subject and Purpose. The InN Gunn diode is known as the device capable of generating powerful oscillations atfrequencies above 300 GHz. A possible way for increasing both the microwave power and the cutoff frequency of the Gunn diode is to employ graded-gap semiconductors. The subject of this research is the process for generating electrical oscillations in InN and graded-gap GaInN Gunn diodes that involve resistive contacts at the cathode and the anode, and possess a 1-μm long active region. The research is aimed at suggesting an optimized structure for the graded-gap GaInN diode to obtain a maximum microwave power and maximum frequency of the oscillations, while consuming the lowest possible amount of DC power. Methods and Methodology. А hydrodynamic simulation has been performed of transport of electrons in graded-gap semiconductors, and an integro-differential equation analyzed concerning voltage drop across elements of the related RLC circuit. Results.The power spectra of oscillations have been analyzed for a variety of parameters of both the Gunn diode and the RLC circuit. The frequency dependences of the oscillatory power, characteristic of different electron concentrations, provide evidence for the possibility of obtaining considerable microwave powers at frequencies above 300 GHz through the use of graded-gap GaInN diodes. Conclusion. The results that have been obtained clearly confirm the expected practicality of using a graded GaInN layer in the InN diode for increasing the power of microwave oscillations, reducing the necessary level of the DC power, and restraining the dependence of the output characteristics on the electron density. The highest power of oscillations has been demonstrated by the InN diode with a 0.1 µm long graded-gap layer of GaInN. Meanwhile, the oscillation frequency generated in that diode is somewhat lower than in the InN diode. A compromise between the values of generated power and the oscillation frequency has been reached in the diode with a graded-gap GaInN layer of 0.9 µm in length. In addition, the latter structure requires the lowest level of DC power for effectuating microwave generation at the higher feasible frequencies.

Exploration for unconformity-associated uranium deposits requires detailed 3D knowledge of the depth and morphology of the unconformity surface. Modifications of the unconformity surface by reactivated intersecting faults and favorable basement lithology are key parameters when attempting to vector toward potential deposits. In the absence of seismic reflection and closely spaced drill data, high-resolution aeromagnetic data can provide surprisingly detailed 3D constraints through the use of source depth routines. Such routines are applied to the northeastern part of the Thelon Basin, termed the Aberdeen Subbasin, in Nunavut. This region is considered prospective for unconformity-associated uranium deposits. Deposits have so far been discovered adjacent to the subbasin where they are hosted by structurally complex Neoarchean and early Paleoproterozoic supracrustal rocks. We determined the morphology of two unconformity surfaces by combining the outputs from multiple analyses of high-resolution aeromagnetic data: three semiautomated depth estimation routines (Werner deconvolution, Euler deconvolution, and source parameter imaging) and two potential field inversion procedures. Confidence in depth estimates was increased by combining the output of individual source depth algorithms. Results were integrated with previously mapped fault displacements, seismic refraction profiles, boreholes, and outcrop geology around the subbasin perimeter. An integrated pseudo-3D source depth estimate of the unconformity surface is presented as twenty-three north–south profiles. The revised model of the upper unconformity surface, the base of the Thelon Formation, shows a complex set of stepped blocks bounded by four major intersecting fault arrays with approximate offsets ranging from tens to hundreds of meters.

Indonesian-Numerical Weather Prediction (INA-NWP) is a numerical-based weather forecast method that has been developed by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency. However, the forecast is still unable to produce accurate weather forecasts. Geostatistical Output Perturbation (GOP) is a weather forecast method derived from only one deterministic output. GOP takes into consideration the spatial correlation among multiple locations simultaneously. GOP is capable to identify spatial dependency patterns that are associated with error models. This study aims to obtain calibrated forecasts for daily maximum and minimum temperature variables using GOP at 10 meteorological stations in Surabaya and surrounding areas. The stages in performing temperature forecasts using GOP are obtaining regression coefficient estimators, then calculating empirical semivariograms and estimating spatial parameters. Based on several weather forecast indicators, such as RMSE and CRPS, GOP is better than INA-NWP in terms of precision and accuracy.

The objective of the present study is to characterize the global scientific production on medical education during the COVID-19 pandemic in seven scientific databases from January 2020 to April 2021. We worked with a universe of 248 articles of which bibliometric indicators were analyzed using Publish or Perish software v. 7.19 and the same analytical software for the chosen databases. The results indicate an average of 39.5 citations. 27.95, 0.87 and 17.90 citations per year, citations per article and citations per author respectively. Among the most cited articles in the Scopus and Microsoft academic databases, Maintaining High-Quality Multidisciplinary Scholarship Programs in Pain Medicine stands out: Part I: Innovations in Education, Research, Candidate Selection Process, Wellness, and Implementation from ACGME during the COVID-19 pandemic. This article is also the second most cited article in the Web of Science database. These results show that the production of scientific articles on educational medicine in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic has not had a significant development.

Abstract T follicular helper (Tfh) cells are a specific subset of CD4 T cells that localize in the B cell follicle and are essential for the Germinal Center (GC) response. Under polarizing environments, Tfh cells produce effector cytokines, including IFN-γ and IL-4. Beyond promoting class switching, the role played by the different subsets of cytokine-producing Tfh cells remains largely unexplored. Using an influenza infection model, we show here that Tfh cells switch from producing IFN-γ early after infection to mainly producing IL-4 at later time points. Importantly, IFN-γ and IL-4-producing Tfh cells differently control the GC B cell response to influenza. Whereas IL-4-producing Tfh cells help GC maintenance late after infection, interaction with IFN-γ producing Tfh cells skews the GC B cell response towards the memory differentiation pathway early after infection. Consequently, lung-memory B cells fail to differentiate in the absence of IFN-γ producing Tfh cells. Collectively, our results support a model in which temporary changes in cytokine production by Tfh cells dynamically control the outcome of the GC response. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur perekonomian Kalimantan Utara serta hubungan spasial provinsi tersebut dengan provinsi-provinsi lainnya. Dengan menggunakan Tabel Input-Output (I-O) Kalimantan Utara, kajian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi leading sector di Kalimantan Utara serta keterkaitan antar sektor yang ada di provinsi tersebut. Kajian ini juga diperdalam dengan menggunakan Tabel Interregional Input Output (IRIO) untuk mendapatkan hubungan kewilayahan ekonomi Kalimantan Utara dengan provinsi lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa leading sector di Kalimantan Utara adalah sektor pertambangan dan pertanian sedangkan sektor unggulan di provinsi ini adalah industri pengolahan dan listrik. Dari sisi spasial, Kalimantan Timur menjadi provinsi yang terkena dampak paling besar ketika Kalimantan Utara mengalami perubahan permintaan akhir.

AbstractInvasive populations of Dalmation toadflax [Linaria dalmatica (L.) Mill.] and yellow toadflax (Linaria vulgaris Mill.) are widespread throughout the Intermountain West, where gene flow between these nonnative species is producing vigorous and fertile hybrids. These hybrid toadflax populations are less responsive to herbicides than either parent species, and biocontrol agents routinely released on L. dalmatica and L. vulgaris often fail to establish on hybrid hosts. Early detection of hybrid Linaria populations is therefore essential for effective management, but resources are limited for scouting large expanses of range and wildland. We used species distribution modeling to identify environmentally suitable areas for these invasive Linaria taxa in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Areas suitable for hybrid Linaria establishment were estimated using two different modeling approaches: first, based on known hybrid occurrence and associated environmental conditions, and second, based on zones environmentally suitable for co-occurrence of the parent species. This also allowed comparison of different model outputs, especially relevant when modeling emerging invasives, such as novel hybrids, with minimal occurrence data. Combining the two model outputs identified areas at greatest risk of hybrid Linaria invasion, including parts of north-central Montana, where model estimates indicate the hybrid may spread without prior co-invasion of the parents. Potential hybrid hot spots were also identified in western Montana; northwestern, northeastern, and southeastern Wyoming; and the Western Slope and Front Range of Colorado. Despite relatively few confirmed occurrences of hybrid populations to date, our results indicate that extensive spread of hybrid populations is possible within the studied area. Model-based maps of potential Linaria distributions will allow area weed managers to direct limited resources more effectively for locating and controlling these invaders.

The type-III interferon (IFN) family is composed of 3 molecules in humans: IFN-λ1 (interleukin-29 [IL-29]), IFN-λ2 (IL-28A), and IFN-λ3 (IL-28B), each of which signals through the same receptor complex. Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) are major IFN-λ producers among peripheral lymphocytes. Recently, it has been shown that IFN-λ1 exerts a powerful inhibitory effect over the T-helper 2 (Th2) response by antagonizing the effect of IL-4 on CD4+ T cells and inhibiting the production of Th2-associated cytokines. Here, we asked whether Th2 cytokines exert reciprocal control over IFN-λ production. IL-4 treatment during stimulation of human peripheral lymphocytes significantly elevated IFN-λ1 transcription and secretion. However, pDCs were not directly responsive to IL-4. Using depletion and reconstitution experiments, we showed that IL-4–responsive monocytes are an intermediary cell, responding to IL-4 by elevating their secretion of IL-1 receptor antagonist (IL-Ra); this IL-1Ra acts on pDCs to elevate their IFN-λ1 output. Thus, our experiments revealed a novel mechanism for regulation of both IFN-λ1 production and pDC function, and suggests an expanded immunomodulatory role for Th2-associated cytokines.

Purpose To compare bleomycin pleurodesis and immunotherapy with intrapleural interferon alfa-2b (IFN) in the palliation of malignant pleural effusions. Patients and Methods One hundred sixty patients with rapidly recurrent malignant pleural effusion were randomly assigned to intrapleural bleomycin (83 patients) or IFN (77 patients). A 9-French intrapleural catheter was placed under sonographic guidance, and pleural effusion was completely drained before starting the treatment. Bleomycin 0.75 mg/kg was administered as a single dose. An additional dose was given if daily fluid output did not drop to less than 100 mL/d within 3 days. IFN 1 million units/10 kg was administered for six courses at 4-day intervals. Thirty-day and long-term responses were evaluated under the intention-to-treat principle. Results Thirty-day response was 84.3% in the bleomycin arm and 62.3% in IFN arm (P = .002). Median time to progression was 93 days (range, 12 to 395 days) in bleomycin group, and 59 days (range, 7 to 292 days) in the IFN group (P < .001). Median survival was 96 days (range, 15 to 395) and 85 days (range, 16 to 292) in the bleomycin and IFN groups, respectively. Twenty-three patients received two doses of bleomycin, as their daily fluid output remained higher than 100 mL after the first dose. Thirteen of them had complete response, which lasted until death. Conclusion Intrapleural bleomycin is more effective than IFN and is a valid option for the palliative treatment of massive, rapidly recurrent malignant pleural effusions. The administration of a second dose of bleomycin to patients not responding to the first one can remarkably improve the overall outcome of the treatment.

Abstract The proinflammatory cytokine interferon-γ (IFN-γ) is well known for its important role in innate and adaptive immunity against intracellular infections and for tumor control. Yet, it has become clear that IFN-γ also has a strong impact on bone marrow (BM) output during inflammation, as it affects the differentiation of most hematopoietic progenitor cells. Here, we review the impact of IFN-γ on hematopoiesis, including the function of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and more downstream progenitors. We discuss which hematopoietic lineages are functionally modulated by IFN-γ and through which underlying molecular mechanism(s). We propose the novel concept that IFN-γ acts through upregulation of suppressor of cytokine signaling molecules, which impairs signaling of several cytokine receptors. IFN-γ has also gained clinical interest from different angles, and we discuss how chronic IFN-γ production can lead to the development of anemia and BM failure and how it is involved in malignant hematopoiesis. Overall, this review illustrates the wide-ranging effect of IFN-γ on the (patho-)physiological processes in the BM.

Ibnu Sina also believes that the output of teaching is for students to become perfect human beings (al-insan kamil) and become people of quality according to their field abilities or the talents of each student. The fact in the field is that there are still teachers who only carry out teaching duties but do not understand the importance of the character of a teacher and the output of the teaching itself. This means that the teacher has not been integrated from the concept of thinking of Ibn Sina's Islamic Education. The purpose of this study was to describe the integration of Ibn Sina's educational thinking at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Wonopeti, so that the scope of this research is: the planning and implementation of learning the integration of Ibn Sina's educational thinking. The research method is field research (fild research) with a descriptive qualitative approach, namely researchers trying to make observations about a phenomenon in a natural state. Data was collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Wonopeti have integrated the thinking concept of Ibn Sina's Islamic Education with learning planning which includes objectives, curriculum, methods and concepts of good educators. The implications of this integration are realized by creative and interesting learning through regular and extracurricular and co-curricular teaching and learning activities.

This paper presents theoretical investigation of the excitation of the sequences of strong nonlinear monopulses of space charge waves from input small envelope pulses with microwave carrier frequencies due to the negative differential conductivity in n-GaN and n-InN films. The stable numerical algorithms have been used for nonlinear 3D simulations. The sequences of the monopulses of the strong electric field of 3 - 10 ps durations each can be excited. The bias electric field should be chosen slightly higher than the threshold values for observing the negative differential conductivity. The doping levels should be moderate 1016 -1017 cm-3in the films of ? 2 mm thicknesses. The input microwave carrier frequencies of the exciting pulses of small amplitudes are up to 30 GHz in n-GaN films, whereas in n-InN films they are lower, up to 20 GHz. The sequences of the electric monopulses of high peak values are excited both in the uniform nitride films and in films with non-uniform conductivity. These nonlinear monopulses in the films differ from the domains of strong electric fields in the bulk semiconductors. In the films with non-uniform doping the nonlinear pulses are excited due to the inhomogeneity of the electric field near the input end of the film and the output nonlinear pulses are rather domains.

Schiehallion is a Palaeocene-age oil field located 175 km west of Shetland in the North Atlantic Ocean. Accurate mapping of lithofacies in this mature field is vital for continuous development of the reservoir model and for identification of infill drilling opportunities. Our new 1D stochastic inversion (ODiSI) tool can be used to estimate reservoir properties of interest (e.g., volume of shale and porosity), with associated uncertainties on these quantities (in the form of standard deviations at each sample in the inverted data sets). In addition, ODiSI outputs a set of possible lithofacies profiles at each trace location in the data set. We have outlined our initial attempts to use these profiles to generate a single lithofacies estimate volume over a small area of the original inversion. The resulting lithofacies estimate volume clearly indicates a geologically plausible distribution of the four lithofacies modeled in the field (shale, sand, shaley sand, and cemented sand) in a lateral sense. However, unlike the inputs to the estimate, the vertical distribution of facies returned is only reasonably consistent with the lithofacies logs observed at the available well control. From this, we have concluded that the process of deriving a lithofacies estimate from the ODiSI outputs needs further development.

Stimulator of interferon genes (STING) plays a key role in detecting cytosolic DNA and induces type I interferon (IFN-I) responses for host defense against pathogens. Although T cells highly express STING, its physiological role remains unknown. Here, we show that costimulation of T cells with the STING ligand cGAMP and TCR leads to IFN-I production and strongly inhibits T-cell growth. TCR-mediated mTORC1 activation and sustained activation of IRF3 are required for cGAMP-induced IFN-I production, and the mTORC1 activity is partially counteracted by cGAMP, thereby blocking proliferation. This mTORC1 inhibition in response to costimulation depends on IRF3 and IRF7. Effector T cells produce much higher IFN-I levels than innate cells in response to cGAMP. Finally, we demonstrated that STING stimulation in T cells is effective in inducing antitumor responses in vivo. Our studies demonstrate that the outputs of STING and TCR signaling pathways are mutually regulated through mTORC1 to modulate T-cell functions.

The objective was to elaborate the effectiveness of mobile learning in poetry teaching materials in Indonesian and Literature Department. All Students of Indonesian and Literature Department were taken as the object of the study an 35 of them were taken af the sample. This research uses quantitative research methods in the form of experiments and descriptive research with the type of pre-test-final-single group test (the one group pre-test-post-test). Based on the results of preliminary study, it is shown that Android-based mobile learning is effective. Learning output before using mobile based learning on poetry, the results was 73,4. Learning output after using mobile based learning on poetry, the results was 86,30. For this reason, the use of Android-based mobile learning is effectively used in poetry teaching material in Indonesian and Literature Department.

Kondisi seseorang yang melalui keterpisahan menuju penyatuan, tauhid, yang diungkapkan melalui puisinya menjadi sangat hidup, melintasi berbagai macam kebahagiaan dan kehilangan yang disadari benar oleh sang pecinta untuk yang tercinta ini dapat ditemukan dalam segala hal, namun tidak dapat dicakupi oleh apapun, juga tidak pernah dimiliki.</p><p><em>Kata kunci : Puisi, ketakjuban, cinta, yang tercinta, Tarjumān al-Ashwaq, Nizam, Ka’bah</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract :</strong> Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi is renowned for his voluminous output of works on almost every subject, including theology, cosmology, jurisprudence, philosophy and the mystical sciences, numbering some 350 works. What is less known is the fact that he was also a prodigious and talented poet, with an output of several thousand poems. While he describes in great detail the phenomenology and ontological exegesis of his mystical experiences in works such as the Futūhāt al-Makkiyya, it is in his poetry where the expression of his passionate love for his beloved is revealed in its full humanity. The condition of one who has passed from separation to union, tawhid, is revealed through his poetry to be intensely alive, traversing the full range of bliss and loss that lovers know all too well, for his beloved is to be found in every thing, yet cannot be contained by any thing, hence never to be possessed.</p><p><em>Keywords : Poetry, perplexity, love, beloved, Tarjumān al-Ashwāq, Nizam, Ka’bā</em></p></div>

In this book، Ibn-Genie dealt with the work of the principles of grammar according to the doctrine of the principles of speech and Islamic legislation. The book is considered a rich material in studies، chapters، and grammatical issues. The goal of this study is not a detailed study of all of this، but rather to place Ibn-Genie's grammatical output in its structure and general framework according to his view of this science، and to demonstrate the impact of his broad knowledge، his intelligence and innovative mind، and his ability to reason، analyze، and issue judgments in writing his book 'Al-Khisāsīs'، including definitions، principles، analogies، grammatical sections. and the relationship of grammar to some other branches of language. In this study، I relied on the historical method، the descriptive method، and the analytical method.

Abstract Abstract 4696 Purpose: To evaluate the economic outcome of conventional and targeted therapies of patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Methods: Two Markov simulation models were designed to measure the cost and quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) for newly diagnosed CML patients whether to be administered conventional therapy or six tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) based strategies. Clinical and utility data were taken mostly from the literature by a MEDLINE search. Costs were based on local charges. The primary output was reported in terms of incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICERs). Sensitivity analyses were performed to examine the robustness of the model output. The impact of patient assistance program (PAP) was assessed. Results: The imatinib plus peginterferon-Á switch 2nd TKIs strategy yielded the most health benefits for newly diagnosed CML patients when compared with the conventional, imatinib switch 2nd TKIs, imatinib switch conventional, imatinib plus IFN-Á switch conventional, nilotinib switch conventional and dasatinib switch conventional strategies (figure 1). Marginal cost-effectiveness was $79,134 or $17,600 per QALY gained relative to conventional strategy without or with PAP (figure 2). Both the nilotinib and dasatinib based strategies were more expensive yet less effective than the alternative strategies and were therefore dominated. Model outputs were sensitive to the cost of TKIs. Conclusion: Imatinib and imatinib plus peginterferon-Á based strategies are potentially more cost-effective and 2nd-generation TKIs may be preferred in the setting of imatinib failure. Patient assistant program in health resource limited setting might notably improve the economic outcome of TKIs based therapies. Disclosures: No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.

While the legitimacy and accountability of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has been questioned from its inception, ICANN has also produced some policy outputs as byproducts. These include UDRP, generation of a few new TLDs, the framework of accountability between ICANN and ccTLDs, and other minor policies on domain name registration. For the last decade, ICANN has held tough discussions on some policy issues but has not reached consensus. New TLD policies are one of the most important such issues. IDN TLD is an interesting and also frustrating issue, particularly for non-English-speaking people. I was not concerned about IDN TLD issues until I started to participate in ICANN discussions. My knowledge of the technical aspects of domain name operations is extremely limited. Nevertheless, as a non-English-s-g user, I have felt that I have something to say on these issues, and sometimes I have made comments on them through ICANN public comment sessions or TF discussions and domestic discussion meetings on IDN policies. IDN issues are a practical concern for internet users who hope for the convenience of using their local language scripts. This has been a concern of most non-English-speaking users, providers, and even governments. In spite of this, IDN TLD has not yet been launched. Many explanations for this have been given. Technical standardization was the first barrier we should have overcome, but in 2003, IDNA's punycode-based scheme became a standard far IDN strings. TechnicaI reviews are still going on within IETF. A second problem was who determines IDN TL,Ds and how IDN generation policies are developed and implemented. Later these questions were resolved in a way that IDN TLDs are simply considered new TLDs and integrated into new TLD generation policies.

AbstractInvasive plants may dramatically impact forest ecosystems by establishing dense populations and suppressing the recruitment of native tree species. One invasive shrub currently spreading throughout eastern deciduous forests of North America, Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii DC), may be limiting tree recruitment in stands where it invades. Once established, B. thunbergii becomes densely populated within forest understories and suppresses native plants by competing for limited resources, altering soil conditions, and changing the understory microclimate. To quantify native seedling inhibition caused by B. thunbergii invasion, we conducted an observational study on seedling abundance within forest plots that were either invaded or not invaded by B. thunbergii and used survey data to generate Bayesian models of native seedling densities along gradients of increasing B. thunbergii stem counts and aboveground plant dry mass. Model outputs predicted that B. thunbergii–invaded plots had 82% lower seedling densities compared with uninvaded plots. Native tree seedling densities were very low even in areas with moderate B. thunbergii density, suggesting that reduced tree seedling densities are observed even at low densities of invasion. Our findings indicate that forests invaded with B. thunbergii harbor substantially lower densities of native tree seedlings, with potentially significant long-term consequences for forest ecological integrity, biodiversity, and ecosystem services.

Abstract Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) is the inducible enzyme in macrophages responsible for high output PG production during inflammation and immune responses. Although several stimuli are known to regulate COX-2, the molecular mechanisms modulating its expression by the cytokine network are poorly understood. As IFN-γ priming is essential for macrophage accessory and effector cell functions, we investigated the effect of IFN-γ on COX-2 expression in U937 human macrophages stimulated with IL-1β. A dose- and time-dependent increase in COX-2 mRNA and protein expression was evoked by IL-1β, whereas the levels of COX-1, the constitutively expressed isoform, remained unaltered. Interestingly, IFN-γ-primed cells showed 40 to 60% lower levels of COX-2 mRNA, protein expression, and PGE2 production as compared with nonprimed cells. IFN-γ-priming (50–500 U/ml) down-regulated COX-2 expression in a time- and dose-dependent fashion. Furthermore, IFN-γ inhibited COX-2 gene transcription in response to IL-1β but not to LPS. In contrast, the rate of decay of COX-2 transcripts in nonprimed and primed macrophages was similar (t1/2 = 3.2 h). The down-regulatory effect of IFN-γ on IL-1β-induced COX-2 expression was abrogated with cycloheximide. These results highlight a novel mechanism of COX-2 regulation by IFN-γ at the transcriptional level, which may affect the outcome of inflammatory and immune conditions.

Automated seismic facies classification using machine-learning algorithms is becoming more common in the geophysics industry. Seismic attributes are frequently used as input because they may express geologic patterns or depositional environments better than the original seismic amplitude. Selecting appropriate attributes becomes a crucial part of the seismic facies classification analysis. For unsupervised learning, principal component analysis can reduce the dimensions of the data while maintaining the highest variance possible. For supervised learning, the best attribute subset can be built by selecting input attributes that are relevant to the output class and avoiding using redundant attributes that are similar to each other. Multiple attributes are tested to classify salt diapirs, mass transport deposits (MTDs), and the conformal reflector “background” for a 3D seismic marine survey acquired on the northern Gulf of Mexico shelf. We have analyzed attribute-to-attribute correlation and the correlation between the input attributes to the output classes to understand which attributes are relevant and which attributes are redundant. We found that amplitude and texture attribute families are able to differentiate salt, MTDs, and conformal reflectors. Our attribute selection workflow is also applied to the Barnett Shale play to differentiate limestone and shale facies. Multivariate analysis using filter, wrapper, and embedded algorithms was used to rank attributes by importance, so then the best attribute subset for classification is chosen. We find that attribute selection algorithms for supervised learning not only reduce computational cost but also enhance the performance of the classification.

It is technically challenging to shrink the size of a tunneling magnetoresistance reader to below 20 nm for magnetic recording technology beyond 4 Tb/in2 due to its complex film stack. Recently, we proposed a reader architecture based on the inverse spin Hall effect to resolve those challenges, referred below as spin–orbit torque (SOT) reader, whose structure consists of a SOT layer and a ferromagnetic layer. However, the heavy metal-based SOT reader has small output voltage and low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) due to the limited spin Hall angle θSH (< 1) of heavy metals. In this Letter, we demonstrate the integration of BiSb topological insulator with strong inverse spin Hall effect into the SOT reader that can significantly improve the output voltage and SNR. First, we theoretically calculate the noises in a 20 × 20 nm2 BiSb-based SOT reader to establish the relationships between SNR and θSH at various bias currents. We then demonstrate proof-of-concept BiSb-based SOT readers using CoFe/MgO/BiSb stack, which show large output voltages up to 15 mV at an input current of 9.4 kA/cm2 at room temperature. We project a giant θSH = 61 for BiSb. Our work demonstrates the potential of BiSb for SOT reader beyond 4 Tb/in2 magnetic recording technology.

Lineage plasticity is a prominent feature of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) cells, which can occur via deregulation of lineage-specifying transcription factors. Here, we show that the zinc finger protein ZBED2 is aberrantly expressed in PDA and alters tumor cell identity in this disease. Unexpectedly, our epigenomic experiments reveal that ZBED2 is a sequence-specific transcriptional repressor of IFN-stimulated genes, which occurs through antagonism of IFN regulatory factor 1 (IRF1)-mediated transcriptional activation at cooccupied promoter elements. Consequently, ZBED2 attenuates the transcriptional output and growth arrest phenotypes downstream of IFN signaling in multiple PDA cell line models. We also found that ZBED2 is preferentially expressed in the squamous molecular subtype of human PDA, in association with inferior patient survival outcomes. Consistent with this observation, we show that ZBED2 can repress the pancreatic progenitor transcriptional program, enhance motility, and promote invasion in PDA cells. Collectively, our findings suggest that high ZBED2 expression is acquired during PDA progression to suppress the IFN response pathway and to promote lineage plasticity in this disease.

We have developed an integrated workflow for estimating elastic parameters within the Late Triassic Skagerrak Formation, the Middle Jurassic Sleipner and Hugin Formations, the Paleocene Heimdal Formation, and the Eocene Grid Formation in the Utsira High area of the Norwegian North Sea. Our workflow begins with petrophysical analysis carried out at the available wells. Then, model-based prestack simultaneous impedance inversion outputs were derived, and attempts were made to estimate the petrophysical parameters (the volume of shale, porosity, and water saturation) from seismic data using extended elastic impedance. On not obtaining convincing results, we switched over to multiattribute regression analysis for estimating them, which yielded encouraging results. Finally, the Bayesian classification approach was used for defining different facies in the intervals of interest.

Abstract The role of TNF-α in the mucosal inflammation of Crohn’s disease has been demonstrated by the prolonged clinical responses and/or remissions among patients receiving i.v. infusion of anti-TNF-α. A correlation between TNF-α and elevated IFN-γ production is suggested by the reduction in the number of IFN-γ producing lamina propria mononuclear cells (LPMC) found in colonic biopsies from anti-TNF-α-treated patients. The aim of this study was to define the mechanism of TNF-α-augmented mucosal T cell IFN-γ production. In this paper we present evidence that cultured LPMC secrete a factor which acts on preactivated T cells in concert with TNF-α to augment IFN-γ production. This activity is independent of IL-12 and IL-18, the well-documented potentiators of IFN-γ expression, and is not produced by PBMC. Peripheral blood PHA-activated T cells incubated in supernatants from LPMC became responsive to TNF-α by increasing IFN-γ output upon stimulation. These results are consistent with a model in which LPMC, but not PBMC, release an unidentified substance when cultured in vitro with low dose IL-2. This substance can act on preactivated peripheral T cells, as well as on lamina propria T cells, conditioning them to respond to TNF-α by increased IFN-γ secretion upon stimulation. Expression of this factor in the gut mucosa could contribute to up-regulation of the Th1 response in the presence of TNF-α, and could be important for mucosal immunoregulation.
