Au lendemain de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, il y a parmi les puissances administrantes, une convergence de vue sur la nécessité de constituer un « front commun », notamment en Afrique Noire, afin de résister à l’offensive anticoloniale. Dans le cadre de ce rapprochement, la Commission de Coopération Technique en Afrique Noire (CCTA), mise en place par les puissances administrantes, joue le rôle de bouclier contre l’intérêt manifesté par les Etats-Unis et les institutions de l'ONU pour l’Afrique. Dès lors, la France et le Portugal épousent ces différentes inquiétudes. Part la suite, dans le contexte de la guerre froide, de la décolonisation, des guerres de libération, de la construction européenne, ces deux nations se rapprochent. Dans la stratégie de la politique de grandeur qui consiste précisément à briser les structures du monde bipolaire, l’empire colonial portugais constitue un atout précieux. En effet, Charles de Gaulles et Salazar partagent les mêmes réserves à l’encontre des Etats-Unis. A cet égard, même si la crise de Suez constitue un échec cuisant pour les puissances coloniales, elle amorce néanmoins une nouvelle ère des relations franco-portugaises. Désormais, les Portugais sont définitivement convaincus que les Etats-Unis ne sont pas en mesure de garantir la souveraineté de leurs colonies. Au moment même où la politique britannique de "self government" est qualifiée par les autorités portugaises comme celle d'abandon, l'indépendance française vis-à-vis de Washington s'impose comme un élément décisif
In the wake of the Second World War, the administering Powers came to agree on the necessity of forming a “common front”, notably in Black Africa, to resist the anti-colonial offensive. In the context of this closer alignment, the Commission of Technical Cooperation in Black Africa (CCTA), established by the administering Powers, would play the role of a shield against the interest shown by the United States and the institutions of the UN in Africa. From now on, France and Portugal both took up these different concerns. In the context of the cold war, decolonisation, wars of liberation and European construction which followed, the two nations would become even closer. In pursuing the strategy of politics of national grandeur – which consisted of shattering the structures of the bipolar world – the Portuguese colonial empire was a precious asset. Indeed, Charles de Gaulle and Salazar shared the same reservations about the United States. From this perspective, even if the Suez crisis was a resounding failure for the colonial powers, it was the beginning of a new era in Franco-Portuguese relations. From this point onwards, the Portuguese were conclusively convinced that the United States was not in a position to guarantee the sovereignty of their colonies. At the same time as the policy of self government was described by the Portuguese authorities as that of abandon, French independence from Washington became a decisive factor

Nous envisageons l'étude d'une figure problématique : le criminel ou le bourreau nazi dans quatre romans contemporains. La cohérence du corpus retenu (La Part de l'autre d'E.-E. Schmitt, Les Bienveillantes de B. Littell, HHhH de L. Binet et La Disparition de Josef Mengele d'O. Guez) tient à la fois à cet aspect thématique lié à la représentation d'une réalité historique, mais aussi à l'empan chronologique choisi et à l'enjeu éthique qu'il induit : comment aujourd'hui « parler » du bourreau, comment lui donner la parole, sans accréditer d'une manière ou d'une autre l'idéologie funeste dont il se réclame ? Pour relever ce défi épistémologique, nous convoquons l'histoire de longue durée en interrogeant la place et la fonction du bourreau au travers des siècles. Nous montrons ensuite comment les procédures narratives des romans de son corpus restituent les logiques sociales qui rendent possible l'émergence d'une telle figure ; loin de toute complaisance psychologique pour la thématique du mal insondable, de la cruauté ou de la perversité romantiquement satanique, les écrivains contemporains entreprennent de déconstruire légendes noires et mythologies de la malédiction pour mettre en relief les rouages d'une rationalité purement instrumentale. La filiation avec les thèses d'Hannah Arendt sur la banalité du mal et la fiction documentée de Robert Merle (La Mort est mon métier, 1952) est à cet égard patente. La temporalité, l'espace, le système des personnages convergent pour replacer le bourreau dans une intelligibilité qui fait comprendre les faits (y compris psychiques) sans les justifier, ou les minorer. La dernière partie de la thèse apporte la pièce la plus fondamentale à la démonstration : contre les positions peu éclairées dont Charlotte Lacoste est la représentante la plus éminente (Séductions du bourreau. La négation des victimes, PUF, 2010), la chercheuse montre très bien comment les dispositifs énonciatifs qui travaillent une narration ventriloque, polyphonique (narrateur critique, usages de l'ironie) interdisent au lecteur de tomber dans le piège de la séduction ou de la manipulation nazie. Loin de toute esthétisation, de toute marchandisation des horreurs de l'histoire, les quatre romans du corpus constituent des mises en œuvre efficaces d'une anti-séduction littéraire
We consider the study of a problematic figure: the criminal or the Nazi executioner in four contemporary novels. The coherence of the corpus retained (La Part de l'autre d'E. Schmitt, Les Bienveillantes de B. Littell, HHhH de L. Binet and La Disparition de Josef Mengele d'O. Guez) is due both to this thematic aspect linked to the representation of a historical reality, but also to the chosen chronological span and the ethical issue that it induces: how can we today «speak» of the executioner, how can we give him the floor, without in any way accrediting the disastrous ideology that he claims to be? To meet this epistemological challenge, we summon the long history by questioning the place and the function of the executioner through the centuries. We then show how the narrative procedures of the novels of his corpus restore the social logics that make possible the emergence of such a figure; far from any psychological complacency for the theme of unfathomable evil, of romantically satanic cruelty or perversity, contemporary writers undertake to deconstruct black legends and mythologies of the curse to highlight the workings of a purely instrumental rationality. The filiation with the theses of Hannah Arendt on the banality of evil and the documented fiction of Robert Merle (Death is my profession, 1952) is in this respect patent. The temporality, the space, the system of the characters converge to place the executioner in an intelligibility that makes understand the facts (including psychic) without justifying them, or reduce them. The last part of the thesis brings the most fundamental piece to the demonstration: against the poorly lit positions of which Charlotte Lacoste is the most eminent representative (Seductions of the executioner. The denial of victims, PUF, 2010), the researcher shows very well how enunciative devices that work a ventriloquist narration, polyphonic (critical narrator, uses of irony) forbid the reader to fall into the trap of Nazi seduction or manipulation. Far from any aestheticization, from any commodification of the horrors of history, the four novels of the corpus constitute effective implementations of a literary anti-seduction

This thesis traces the construction and evolution of the star text of Laurence Olivier as it relates to cinematic Shakespeare production and formulations of nationhood in 1940s and 1950s Britain. Organised around an examination of Olivier’s four Shakespearean film adaptations (including the unmade Macbeth), the project focuses on the ways in which the concept of 'Shakespeare' – signalled throughout by its italicisation – is appropriated through Olivier’s image in relation to the industrial and cultural contexts of the wartime and post-war British film industry. It also examines articulations of Shakespearean selfhood and related reappropriations of the filmic image in Olivier’s life writing, exploring how Olivier engages with his own star persona. In examining the relationship that exists between broader industrial-cultural appropriations of 'Shakespeare' and a sense of a star’s personal connection with the national poet, the thesis explores (in addition to the film texts) extratextual materials such as fan letters, publicity documents, theatre and film ephemera, magazine interviews, newspaper criticism, industrial reports and personal and professional correspondence in order to interrogate the national-cultural function of a star text whose image is aligned to 'Shakespeare'. This thesis seeks to make an original contribution to Shakespeare on screen studies by constituting the fullest study of Laurence Olivier’s cinematic Shakespearean career to date. In introducing and analysing previously unseen archival material (including screenplays and shooting scripts relating to the unmade Macbeth), the thesis informs our understanding of the evolving history of British Shakespeare production and, therefore, of the history of Shakespeare on screen. Rethinking Olivier’s cultural currency as a Shakespearean star in 2012 and in the space of the archive, the thesis also contributes to the theoretical thinking underpinning Shakespearean performance studies and archival studies. Finally, the thesis opens the way for further considerations as to how (and to what effect) the Shakespearean star operates as a national and transnational phenomenon.

L'objet de la thèse est de circonscrire un agencement d'art particulier : l'exorcisme produit sur un récepteur actuel par des œuvres musicales et poétiques de la guerre et du direct après-guerre de R. Char, H. Michaux, O. Messiaen et A. Jolivet. En consommant ces œuvres, le récepteur exorcise la violence propre à la guerre en opposant à la négation de l'autre propre à Auschwitz, lequel emblématise la guerre, l'avènement d'une entité autre surgissant de la perception conditionnée par ces œuvres. Une telle " altérisation " perceptive repose sur un fonctionnement contradictoire de la perception, qui s'effectue tout en s'auto-déconstruisant, et qui brouille la réception. Après avoir en une première partie posé les fondements théoriques de l'approche, et cerné la spécificité de la musique et du langage en s'appuyant sur une critique des rapprochements effectués entre eux, on analyse l'agencement d'exorcisme à proprement parler, en décrivant, en une deuxième partie, sa manifestation fondamentale, le brouillage. On détermine les sources sémiotiques spécifiquement langagières et musicales de ce brouillage, et on montre son pouvoir de déstructuration de la perception et de désimplication sur le récepteur. Le brouillage est ainsi défini comme agencement monstrueux. La dernière partie réinsère cet agencement local dans l'agencement général d'exorcisme. Ce brouillage peut en effet se muer en altérisation, la lecture de la métaphore se transformant en création d' hétéro-univers de croyance, le paradoxe en hétéro-doxe, quand l'écoute s'opère selon des repères marginaux par rapport aux attentes. S'ensuit enfin une modélisation générale de l'agencement d'exorcisme comme mécanisme de substitution de l'autre à soi, comme contre-violence à l'Histoire
The objective of this work is to circumscribe an "agencement" (arrangement) of specific art: the exorcism produced on a receiver by musical or poetical works from the Second World War and the immediate after-war period by R. Char, H. Michaux, O. Messiaen et A. Jolivet. When encountering these works, the receiver exorcises the war-related violence by confronting the negation of the other characterising Auschwitz with the advent of another entity rising from the perception conditioned by these works. Such a perceptive "alterisation" rests on a contradictory functioning of perception, which de-constructs itself whilst happening, and which blurs perception. In a first part, we set the theoretical basis for our approach, by encircling the specificity of music and language based on a criticism of association usually made between both of them. We then analyse the mere "agencement" of exorcism by describing its fundamental manifestation - the process of "brouillage" (confusion) - in a second part. We define the semiotic sources for this process which are specific to language and music, as well as its manifestation more distinctively perceptive in both systems, through its power of de-construction and des-involvement. That way, we manage to define the "brouillage" as a monstrous "agencement". The last part of this work is dedicated to the reinsertion of this "agencement" into the more general "agencement" of exorcism. We show how the "brouillage" can change to "alterisation", with the reading of metaphor itself changing into the creation of a hetero-universe of belief, and the paradox into "hetero-dox", when listening operates along benchmarks which are marginal compared to expectations. To conclude, we propose a general modelling of the "agencement" of exorcism as a way of substituting to the other, as a challenge to the violence of History

This present study investigates the journey of the history¿s course, in the period of teacher Yza Fava de Oliveira¿s management. This research gives highlight to the instruments that the course organized to reach its development goals on historic research, patrimony defense and construction of the Baixada Santista¿s knowledge. Among others, Documentation Center, Folk Studies Center, Historical Study Center, Archaeological Research Institute, History Week. Using documentary research served of the main collections of the Department and the support organs. The interviews made with the coordinator were equally important. That was important because it completed some doubts found in the documentary sources and motivated other ways of looking at reality. Besides the written documentation, the iconographic collections of the teacher and Department were important. It was also possible to have a preliminary view of the Course, under the school practices.
A presente dissertação investiga a trajetória do Curso de História, no período da gestão de 16 anos de professora Yza Fava de Oliveira. Nessa pesquisa dá-se destaque aos instrumentos que o Curso organizou para alcançar os seus objetivos de desenvolvimento da pesquisa histórica, defesa do patrimônio e construção do conhecimento da História da Baixada Santista. Entre outros, o Centro de Documentação, Centro de Estudos Folclóricos, Centro de Estudos Históricos, Instituto de Pesquisas Arqueológicas, Semana de História. Utilizando pesquisa documental serviu-se dos principais acervos do próprio Departamento e dos órgãos de apoio. Igualmente importante foram as entrevistas feitas com a própria coordenadora. Isso foi importante, pois completou algumas dúvidas encontradas nas fontes documentais e motivou outros modos de olhar a realidade. Além da documentação escrita, foram importantes os acervos iconográficos do próprio Departamento e de professores. Conseguiu-se, ainda que preliminarmente, ter uma visão do Curso, sob as práticas escolares.

Abstract (sommario):
This dissertation is about the poetry and prose, published and unpublished, of the British poet Douglas Dunlop Oliver (1937-2000), written between 1973-1991. It traces the development of Oliver's poetics from his early prose through his later poetry of the 1970s and 1980s. The dissertation makes extensive use of archive material stored in the Douglas Oliver Archive at the Albert Sloman Library, University of Essex, the vast majority of which has thus far received little or no critical commentary or appraisal. Contained in the archive are a set of unpublished essays Oliver wrote as a mature undergraduate at the University of Essex between 1974-1975. In my first chapter, I discuss these essays and examine their philosophical and aesthetic standpoints in order to understand and expand upon Oliver's published claims about the experience of reading poetry in his theoretical monograph Poetry and Narrative in Performance (1989). Oliver's thinking about prosody and poetic language are then discussed in relation to his books of poetry on explicitly political subjects, The Diagram--Poems (1979) and The Infant and the Pearl (1985). My second and third chapters present close readings of Oliver's poetry with a view to understanding and critiquing the political arguments conducted therein. My second chapter, on The Diagram--Poems, adds to the discussion of prosody the historical significance of Oliver's thinking about “stupidity,” and reads the poetry's political intervention in the light of such thinking. My third chapter, on The Infant and the Pearl, reads the poem's critique of the contemporary political landscape with the help of the extensive scholarship on its prototype, the medieval Pearl, in order to explain and critique Oliver's poem's emphasis on national and interpersonal “unity.” The dissertation argues throughout that the inseparability of poetic form and political feeling is at the heart of Oliver's practice as a poet.

This Master thesis investigated and analyzed, historically, the trajectory of the educator Olivina Olívia Carneiro da Cunha, focusing, basically, her educational practices in the politician, cultural and social scenario paraibano. The time frame in the present study comprehends the years of 1886-1977, that is, it enters the year of birth and death of the educator. The theoretician-methodological reference was constructed endorsed in the approach of New Cultural History, with emphasis in the territory of the memories and Verbal History through a historic-biographical perspective. Using as source the press and verbal narratives of her familiar, friends and historians paraibanos, and her former-pupils, who had presented the remaining and the histories around the familiar origin, of her educational formation, and its professional legacy collaborating in the assembly of the biographical puzzle of this teacher. The analysis and the interpretation of the collected documentary sources allowed us to know her contributions in the literary field, her fights around the feminist cause, as well as, her performance to beyond to school walls, in the politics, music, and the beneficent movements. Finally, we enter in analyzes around her practical and educative conceptions that as our interpretation of available documents if had according to constituted in practical conservatives at some moments and other spreader of new pedagogical methods, based in the estimated of the Active School, coherent with procedural of modernizations implemented in the paraibana society. Thus, conscientious of the transience to the conclusion of this work, due the peculiarities of the biographical studies, we close a stage for the memory of the teacher Olivina Olívia Carneiro da Cunha, stage where we pull wires of the woman existence of great intellectual inquietude and outstanding presence in the education of her time. We believe, therefore, that our research will serve of compassing, indicating the way for new research, removing of the bilge of history, the memories of other educators who had been part of the historiography of the paraibana education.
Esta dissertação de mestrado investigou e analisou, historicamente, a trajetória da educadora Olivina Olívia Carneiro da Cunha, focando, fundamentalmente, suas práticas educacionais no cenário político, cultural e social paraibano. O recorte temporal no presente estudo compreendeu os anos de 1886-1977, ou seja, entre o ano de nascimento e morte da educadora. O referencial teórico-metodológico foi construído respaldado na abordagem da Nova História Cultural, com ênfase no território das memórias e da História Oral através de uma perspectiva histórico-biográfica, utilizando como fonte a imprensa e as narrativas orais de seus familiares, amigos, historiadores paraibanos e seus ex-alunos, que apresentaram as reminiscências e as histórias em torno da origem familiar, de sua formação educacional, e seu legado profissional, colaborando na montagem do quebra-cabeça biográfico dessa professora. As fontes documentais coletadas permitiram conhecer suas contribuições no campo literário, suas lutas em torno da causa feminista, bem como, sua atuação para além dos muros escolares, na política, na música, e nos movimentos beneficentes. Por fim, na análise em torno das suas práticas e concepções educativas que segundo a interpretação dos documentos disponíveis se constituíram em práticas conservadoras em alguns momentos e em outros difundidora de novos métodos pedagógicos, baseados nos pressupostos da Escola Ativa, coerentes com os processos de modernização implementados na sociedade paraibana. Assim, consciente da transitoriedade da conclusão deste trabalho, devido as peculiaridades dos estudos biográficos, fechamos uma etapa no que se refere à memória da professora Olivina Olívia Carneiro da Cunha, etapa em que puxamos fios da existência de uma mulher de grande inquietude intelectual e de presença marcante na educação de sua época. Acreditamos, portanto, que nossa pesquisa servirá de bússola, indicando o caminho para novas pesquisas, retirando do porão da história, as memórias de outras educadoras que fizeram parte da historiografia da educação paraibana.

This thesis explores the performance practice of three major works involving piano composed by Olivier Messiaen between 1940 and 1944. These are considered through a descriptive analysis of historic commercial recordings that are known to have been directly influenced by the composer, a survey of existing interview material and secondary sources, and interviews with selected leading exponents of Messiaen’s piano music. Many issues of interest are apparent in the historic recordings analysed. Some involve factors not accorded detail in the score, others depart from instructions in the score, and some appear to be permanently intended changes to the published score. This suggests that a well informed performance practice of this music requires consideration of many elements that extend beyond the instructions in the printed score. Comparisons of recordings by pianists who studied the Vingt Regards sur l’Enfant-Jésus with Messiaen, or with his primary exponent Yvonne Loriod, reveal that their approaches diverged in some significant ways on the playing of this solo work, but to a much lesser extent when playing Visions de l’Amen or the Quatuor pour la fin du Temps. This suggests that at some point Loriod began to perform and teach Vingt Regards sur l’Enfant-Jésus in a more independent way, while Messiaen remained a guiding figure in rehearsals and recordings of the ensemble works. As a result, appropriate interpretation of Vingt Regards sur l’Enfant-Jésus may require consideration of the performances of pianists who worked on the repertoire directly with the composer. It is also evident that Messiaen genuinely intended the very slow tempi in certain movements of the works studied, and that he encouraged full use of these tempi in performance.

Cette étude constitue la première analyse approfondie de Jocelyne est en dépression : tragédie météorologique d'Olivier Choinière. Parue en 2002, elle mélange en toute liberté des tons, des références sociales et des formes théâtrales. En employant les jalons de l'analyse dramaturgique et en nous concentrant strictement sur le texte de la pièce, nous avons pour objectif de cerner au plus près les rapports qui unissent les deux personnages centraux, le Choeur Contemporain et Évelyne, afin de mieux saisir à quoi tient le conflit. Nous analyserons d'abord la présence de marques issues de la tragédie grecque. Il sera particulièrement question des indices fournis au fil du paratexte. Nous faisons l'hypothèse que les relations entre les personnages principaux sont influencées par une forte intertextualité. Ensuite, nous nous emploierons à dégager certains rapports de force à travers les dialogues auxquels participent ces mêmes personnages. Olivier Choinière ayant composé une pièce où le conflit s'exprime sous la forme d'un débat, nous voulons examiner la construction particulière des répliques. En outre, constatant la présence d'éléments caricaturaux et stéréotypiques, nous envisagerons la possibilité que la pièce de Choinière présente des critiques et qu'elle mette de l'avant des travers québécois. En conclusion, cette analyse veut souligner l'originalité du travail de Choinière et la variété des repères formels, stylistiques et même culturels que nous trouvons au sein de son oeuvre.

En écho à la grande désillusion qui touche l'imaginaire social depuis le milieu des années soixante-dix, la fiction romanesque française contemporaine médite la disparition de l'utopie marxiste. Sans sombrer dans la complaisance nostalgique ni le mépris facile, les romans d'Antoine Volodine et d'Olivier Rolin s'interrogent sur l'échec de sa mise en œuvre aussi bien que sur son effacement à l'horizon des représentations collectives. Traitant de l'utopie comme d'une image séduisante véhiculée par des récits à caractère politique, ils soulignent tout ce que celle-ci entretenait d'écart avec le réel social. Mais l'ironie se double d'une mélancolie révélatrice de la nature éminemment ambivalente de l'utopie. Réactivant les aspirations épiques de l'humanité, celle-ci maintenait l'horizon du sublime et de la révolte dans le champ de nos représentations. En analysant les déclinaisons de ce paradoxe dans les romans d'Antoine Volodine et d'Olivier Rolin, cette étude évalue la façon dont la littérature participe singulièrement à la construction de l'imaginaire social
Echoing the great disillusion that has stricken the social imaginary since the mid-seventies, the French contemporary novel meditates on the disappearance of the Marxist utopia. Rejecting facile scorning of the past as well as nostalgic complacency, Antoine Volodine and Olivier Rolin question why the utopian project failed, and why it has disappeared from collective representations. Depicting utopia as a seductive image conveyed by political tales, their fictions underline the distance which separated ideals from reality. But their ironic stance is accompanied by melancholy, since utopia kept epic hopes and dreams alive. This study analyses how the French contemporary novel deals with this paradox and the double nature of utopia. Meanwhile, it attempts to elucidate how literature contributes in a remarkable way to the construction as well as the criticism of collective representations

Journalists have insisted that John Oliver has inspired a new kind of journalism. They argue that Oliver's show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has inspired real-world action, a phenomenon journalists have called the "John Oliver Effect." Oliver, a comedian, refuses these claims. This thesis is the result of in-depth research into journalists' claims through the lens of agenda-setting. By conducting a qualitative content analysis, I evaluated the message characteristics of framing devices used on Oliver's show, then compared those message characteristics to the message characteristics and framing devices employed by legacy media.

Resumo: Esta dissertação procura revelar a importância histórica e antropológica do acervo fotográfico do Professor Roberto Cardoso de Oliveira, localizado no Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth (AEU Unicamp). Enfatiza especificamente as imagens tomadas entre os Tukuna da região do Rio Alto Solimões durante uma expedição do Museu Nacional empreendida em 1959. Tal delimitação permite avaliar o emprego das fotografias no livro O índio e o mundo dos brancos publicado pelo autor em 1964, desenvolvendo, numa perspectiva paralela, uma análise do trabalho fotográfico apresentado no livro The Tukuna (1952), do pesquisador Curt Nimuendaju, que esteve no campo em 1941 e em 1942. São apresentados, também, exercícios experimentais em torno do método utilizado em Balinese Character (1942) por Gregory Bateson e Margaret Mead, reflexões sobre a técnica fotográfica e suas potencialidades interpretativas tanto como sobre as múltiplas estratégias receptivas implicadas na publicação das imagens fotográficas. Apresenta-se, por fim, o generoso diálogo tecido, tanto pelo pesquisador como pelo seu orientador, com o Professor Cardoso de Oliveira, partindo de suas imagens e de suas reflexões escritas, seguido de um exercício de rememoração acerca da expedição de 1959, reunindo fotografias e trechos de seus diários de campo. De um modo geral, pensamos que a presente pesquisa oferece alguns subsídios, teóricos e práticos, ao trabalho com fotografias no campo da antropologia

Le mandat de promulguer une nouvelle constitution a été confié par l'Assemblée nationale au gouvernement de la République placé sous l'autorité du maréchal Pétain par la loi constitutionnelle du 10 juillet 1940. Trois équipes d'auteurs différents ont été nécessaires pour mettre au point la nouvelle constitution, ce qui a abouti à la rédaction de nombreuses versions au contenu à la fois constant et évolutif. Poursuivant la réflexion menée par le mouvement pour la réforme de l'État dans les années 1930 et influencés notamment par le Portugal de Salazar, ces projets optent d'abord pour un État autoritaire et corporatiste puis, progressivement, sous l'effet de diverses influences intérieures et extérieures, pour un parlementarisme rationalisé. Ces projets comportent des Déclarations de droits et de devoirs d'inspiration personnaliste, ainsi qu'un système de contrôle de constitutionnalité des lois. Ils mettent en place un chef de l'État fort face à un Parlement d'abord rabaissé, puis réhabilité dans ses fonctions traditionnelles. Le régime construit par ces projets s'appuie en outre sur l'Empire colonial, et sur des provinces, à la tête desquelles sont placés des gouverneurs. Cette étude contribue à replacer ces projets de constitution, longtemps ignorés par la doctrine, dans l'histoire et la pensée constitutionnelles françaises, en soulignant la continuité de cette dernière.

La présente recherche suggère une étude appropriée des trois hypothèses qui sous-tendent l'idée de la prémonition poétique dont la première est l'idée que la poésie a la capacité de pressentir/ annoncer ainsi que lire/ écrire l'expérience de la mort. Cette capacité exige une typologie de la mort sur la base de sa relation à la prémonition : la mort propre, celle de l'autre et la mort absolue. Deuxièment, la mort et le suicide impliquent trois types d'expériences prémonitoires : accélératrice, neutre et retardatrice. La poésie qui encadre ces expériences révèle un savoir-mourir et le caractère volontaire et un vouloir-mourir. Troisièment, comme sujet omniprésent dans la poésie, la mort influe sur le langage et engendre des métamorphoses liées à la mort, à la fois mythiques et typographiques, qui, à leur tour, produisent de nouvelles formes d'écriture prémonitoire comme l'écriture intime de la mort, le testament poétique et la voix sépulcrale de l'adieu. Le corpus comprend huit "poètes météores" français actifs entre 1945 et 1992 dont l'oeuvre prend en charge et défend ces trois hypothèses : Olivier Larronde (1927-1965), Jean-Pierre Duprey (1930-1959), Roger-Arnould Rivière (1930-1959), Roger Kowalski (1934-1975), Jean-Philippe Salabreuil (1940-1970), Danielle Collobert (1940-1978), Christian Gabrielle Le Guez Ricord (1948-1988), Jean-Pierre Le Sidaner (1947-1992). Confronté à la construction européenne, le Portugal s'est vu dans l'obligation d'intégrer l'AELE, au grand regret des plus hautes instances de Lisbonne, convaincues que l'avenir du pays se trouvait dans un rapprochement plus étroit de ses colonies africaines. Par crainte d'un isolement économique désastreux et poussé à cette extrémité par l'attitude plus qu'équivoque de son alliée britannique, le Portugal n'a eu d'autre choix que poursuivre cette implication dans les affaires européennes quand se posa la question de rejoindre ou non la CEE. Après la candidature officielle d'association au Marché Commun de mai 1962, l'administration nationale entama l'élaboration d'un projet européen qui ralliait les sympathies des libéraux. Les circonstances aidant, les conservateurs parvinrent néanmoins à maintenir le pays hors de cette zone économique. Le répit fut cependant éphémère car dès 1968 et la chute de Salazar, le gouvernement réformateur, incité une nouvelle fois par Londres, mit sur pied une stratégie visant à un rapprochement économique entre le Portugal et la Communauté européenne. Contrairement à l'action précédente, cette dernière fut couronnée de succès puisque, malgré les résistances de certains pays du continent, Lisbonne parvint à rejoindre la CEE par un accord d'association commerciale. Cette victoire fut de courte durée car le retour aux affaires des conservateurs, en 1972, sonna le glas de l'espoir européen, jusqu'à ce que la gauche le relance après la Révolution des Oeillets

Este trabalho tem como foco principal a análise dos projetos de memória que dizem respeito à criação de um dos primeiros museus mineiros, inicialmente instituído pela Arquidiocese de Mariana, em 1926, e retomado com nova fundação em 1961, destacando-se as interfaces com as políticas de preservação da memória implementadas pelo Estado e enunciadas por parte da intelectualidade nacional. Falamos do Museu Arquidiocesano de Mariana (MAM), fundação que tem como personagem destacada o Arcebispo D. Oscar de Oliveira. O trabalho discute tais projetos de musealização à luz da justificativa de perda do patrimônio, evidenciando suas múltiplas relações com os dilemas enfrentados pelo episcopado brasileiro no período. Disseca a expografia proposta pelo MAM e seus silenciamentos frente aos fiéis, entendidos como o Outro desta relação. Por fim, aborda a questão da arte sacra e sua transformação em objeto museal, focando suas múltiplas possibilidades. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
ABSTRACT: This study has as main focus a memory projects analysis about the creation of one of the first museums in Minas Gerais, initially established for Mariana’s Archdiocese, in 1926, and Incorporated in 1961 with new foundation, highlighting interfaces with the policies of preservation of memory implemented by the State and set out by the national intellectuality. We speak of the Archdiocesan Museum of Mariana (AMM), foundation whose has as outstanding character the Archbishop Oscar de Oliveira. The paper discusses these projects musealization the light of justification loss of patrimony, showing its multiple relations with the dilemmas faced by the brazilian episcopate in the period. Dissects expography proposed by MAM and its silencing against faithfull understood this relationship as the Other. Finally, it addresses the issue of religious art and its transformation into a museum object, focusing its multiple possibilities.

La première partie est centrée sur l'idée coloniale présentée comme clé de voûte du salazarisme Elle montre comment le sentiment national devient consubstantiel à l'idée coloniale, symbiose que cristallise l'intense mystique impériale orchestrée par la propagande salazariste dans les années 1930, au point de s'affirmer comme le socle intangible du régime. La deuxième partie porte sur la question de la nature du régime salazariste présenté comme plus proche d'un autoritarisme conservateur que du fascisme, soulignant notamment la figure centrale et complexe du dictateur. La troisième partie est consacrée à la postérité du salazarisme et à la mémoire de celui-ci dans le Portugal démocratique né de la Révolution des oeillets d'avril 1974. Le choix européen, conséquence à la fois de la décolonisation et de l'institutionnalisation de la démocratie, a permis aux Portugais de passer outre la disparition brutale d'un outre-mer multiséculaire, sans nourrir, pour l'heure, de véritable "guerre des mémoires"
The first part focuses on the colonial idea presented as the keystone of salazarism. It shows how the national sentiment becomes consubstantial of the colonial idea, throughout the intense impreial mystic orchestrated by the salazarist propaganda in the 1930s, to the extent of asserting itself as the intangible base of the regime. The second part focuses on the question of the salazarist regime nature presented as close to a conservative authoritarianism much than fascism, emphasizing the key figure, central and complex, of the dictator. The third part focuses on the posterity of salazarism and its memory in democratic Portugal, since the revolution of April 1974. The European choice, consequence both of the decolonization and of the institutionalization of the democracy, allowed the Portuguese to override the brutal disappearance of centuries-old overseas, without creating, till yet, an absolute war of memories

This dissertation seeks to undertake through immanent analysis of its production a study regarding the speech of Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, the founder of the Sociedade Brasileira de Defesa da Tradição, Família e Propriedade (TFP), from 1968 to 1976, the harshest period of the dictatorship started in 1964 in Brazil. Polemicist of vast production, Oliveira had since 1968 a weekly column in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, which served as a vehicle for spreading his ideas to a substantially larger audience than hitherto achieved by his writings. Before that, he has struggled since the 1930 s in order to set down a statement ruled by a Catholic thought of conservative bias able to reconfigure the society, and adapt it to the medieval way of life. However, in defense of these principles the author turns out to sanction the status quo conservation of the existing society. Inserted within this area of conservative thought, the author formulates judgments on major national and international issues of his time, denoting a unique and correct manner of action that would fit in his conception of Christian values. Thus we seek to understand the role of Plinio Correa as a conservative ideologist as well as the intervention strategies of the social organization he founded
A presente dissertação busca empreender por meio da análise imanente de sua produção um estudo sobre o discurso do fundador da Sociedade Brasileira de Defesa da Tradição, Família e Propriedade (TFP), Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, dos anos de 1968 a 1976, período de maior fechamento da ditadura iniciada no Brasil em 1964. Polemista de vasta produção, Oliveira teve a partir de 1968 uma coluna semanal no jornal Folha de São Paulo, que serviu como veículo de divulgação de suas ideias para um público substantivamente maior do que o até então atingido por seus escritos. Antes disso, ele já batalhava desde a década de 1930 pela afirmação de um pensamento católico de viés conservador capaz de re-configurar a sociedade, e adequá-la ao modo medieval de vida. Todavia, na defesa desses princípios o autor acaba por sancionar a manutenção do status quo da sociedade existente. Inserido dentro desse campo conservador de pensamento, o autor formulará julgamentos sobre os grandes temas nacionais e internacionais de seu tempo, emitindo indicações de um modo de agir único e correto que se enquadraria na sua leitura dos valores cristãos. Cette thèse de doctorat pose les linéaments d'une histoire de la littérature française contemporaine. Prenant pour objet d'étude une sphère très précise du champ poétique en étudiant les oeuvres d'Olivier Cadiot et de Nathalie Quintane, cette réflexion a pour point de départ le constat de la fin de la domination du modèle avant-gardiste dans le champ culturel à la charnière des années 1970 et 1980. Il s'agit de questionner la possibilité puis les modalités d'un renouvellement des formes après l'avant-garde. Cette problématique s'accompagne de deux autres interrogations sur la résistance au pouvoir et la traduction de l'expérience. S'articule ainsi une réflexion sur le devenir du travail de l'écrivain dans un contexte où les forces d'ordonnancement des corps, de la mémoire et du langage imposent des consensus qui réduisent la probabilité d'un surgissement de nouveauté, entendue ici comme puissance subversive capable de malmener nos représentations du monde. Cette réflexion débute en revisitant, dans une première partie intitulée « Des positions fugitives », plusieurs notions théoriques avec pour objectif avoué de voir en quoi elles peuvent être opératoires dans le contexte contemporain. En analysant les acceptions d'avant-garde (Poggioli, Bürger), de poésie (Gleize, Pinson), de champ (Bourdieu, Lahire) et de politique (Rancière), il s'agit de constituer le cadre intellectuel duquel émerge le corpus étudié. Cette première partie ne fait pas que l'état de la question critique et théorique, elle propose aussi l'étude de quelques textes d'Olivier Cadiot, de Nathalie Quintane et de Christophe Tarkos pour appuyer les démonstrations. « Jouer Gambit », deuxième partie, se consacre exclusivement à l'oeuvre d'Olivier Cadiot. Structurées autour de trois thématiques (la poésie, le pouvoir et la gravité), ces analyses montrent la complexité du travail de l'écrivain, notamment en expliquant, dans « Romaniser la poésie », que la migration que Cadiot opère vers le roman, loin d'être un acte de « haine de la poésie », est une manière pour lui de lui donner une nouvelle intensité. La mise en contexte de la création de L'art poétic' est suivie d'une présentation de la Revue de littérature générale. L'examen des « mises en abyme » de la poésie dans les romans de Cadiot dans Futur, ancien, fugitif; Retour définitif et durable de l'être aimé et Fairy queen explique les tenants et les aboutissants de ce déplacement générique. Dans « Singer le pouvoir », ce sont les nombreuses figures de la domination qui font l'objet d'un développement. L'usage de la métaphore militaire est aussi étudié, Cadiot parvenant par ce biais à déployer la question du politique en littérature. « L'archipel du goujat » se penche sur la question de l'expérience de la gravité, et explique que les différents Robinson de Cadiot opposent deux régimes d'atteinte: l'idiotie et la folie, deux rapports à la désorganisation qui sont aussi deux rapports aux formes et, plus largement, au politique. La deuxième partie se clôt sur une analyse de l'entreprise intertextuelle de Cadiot, qui compare son Robinson à ceux de Daniel Defoe et de Michel Tournier. La troisième partie, « Damer le pion », se consacre à l'oeuvre de Nathalie Quintane. Deux thématiques structurent nos analyses: le rapport à la poésie et le rapport à l'histoire. Le huitième chapitre, « Le mauvais genre », s'attaque à la question générique. Dans l'analyse de Remarques et de Chaussure, l'imperceptibilité de l'oeuvre, identifiée aussi bien, à ses débuts, à la sacralité du quotidien qu'à la littéralité, est mise de l'avant. La posture de l'écrivaine au sujet de la poésie est explicitée: elle résiste à l'idée de la densité comme étalon de valeur de la poéticité en lui opposant la surface, perçue notamment dans la distanciation des remarques qui mettent tout de même de l'avant un « je » qui expérimente avec le corps et la pensée, dans le but avoué d'en finir avec la grandiloquence. Quintane témoigne d'un nouveau parti pris des choses qui confirme l'énorme distance qui la sépare de toutes les pratiques « du soi » tout comme des lieux communs entourant la littérature de « femmes ». La posture faussement ingénue de Quintane se loge dans une pensée esthétique concernée par un travail sur le douteux, l'évènementiel, la surprise. Travaillant avec ce qui importune, ce qui est incongru, l'écrivaine réfléchit aux questions du sérieux, de l'idiotie, de l'absurde, de la fantaisie. « Repasser l'Histoire », neuvième chapitre, montre comment Quintane déplace la matière historique, la repasse, c'est-à-dire opère une mise à plat tout en la revisitant pour la faire voir autrement. L'écrivaine rencontre d'abord Jeanne d'Arc puis la station balnéaire de Saint-Tropez. Dans Cavale et Grand ensemble, elle affronte des sujets délicats -la Commune, la collaboration ou la guerre d'Algérie -à travers la reconstitution de « souvenirs live » qui érige un travail de rétrospection qui engage Quintane du côté de la confusion, perçue comme le moindre mal d'une époque où l'ordre déforme la mémoire. Cette thèse constitue une tentative de définition de la nature du système politique mis en place par Antonio Oliveira Salazar dans le sillage du coup d'État militaire survenu en 1926 au Portugal. Le régime salazariste partage de nombreuses similitudes avec le régime mussolinien (exaltation de la nation, parti unique, goût prononcé pour les uniformes, haine farouche du communisme). Pourtant, il n'en constitue pas moins une forme différente de recomposition du « primat ordonnateur du politique ». La recomposition qu'il réalise a envisagé de renouer une alliance entre les autorités séculière et spirituelle en vue de constituer un « État fort ». L'analyse de cette alliance entre État et Église a constitué le fil directeur de notre travail dans Ia perspective d'une comparaison avec le totalitarisme ou « religion séculière ». Si l'Estado Novo est bien un produit de la crise de la démocratie de l'entre-deux-guerres, il demeure différent par la nature des totalitarismes nazi et fasciste en ce qu'il espérait non pas revenir à l'unité primordiale entre structurations religieuse et politique propre aux sociétés sans État mais voulait revenir au stade de la collaboration entre pouvoirs politique et spirituel propre à l'époque de Ia première modernité c'est-à-dire la monarchie absolue. Notre idée est donc que « l'art de gouverner » salazariste est davantage redevable au régalisme du marquis de Pombal qu'à Ia révolution anthropologique orchestrée par les régimes fasciste et nazi
This thesis is an attempt to define the nature of the political system established by Antonio di Oliveira Salazar in the wake of the military coup occurred in 1926 in Portugal. The Salazar regime shares many similarities with the Mussolini regime (exaltation of the nation, one-party system, taste for uniforms, hate of communism). But it constitutes a different form of recomposition of the "ordinating primacy of politics. " Its recomposition proposed to renew an alliance between secular and spiritual authorities to create a "strong state". Analysis of this alliance between Church and State has been the guiding principle of our work in the context of a comparison with totalitarianism or "secular religion". Even if the Estado Novo is a product of the crisis of democracy of the interwar period, it remain different in nature from Nazi and fascist totalitarianisms because he did not hope to return to thi primordial unity between religious and political structures of stateless societies but it wanted to return to the stage of collaboration between political and spiritual powers characterizing the era of early modernit that is to say the absolute monarchy. Our idea is that Salazar's "art of governing" was more indebted to Marquis of Pombal's regalism than to the anthropological revolution orchestrated by the Nazi and fascism regimes

Esta pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo a reconstituição da história de uma instituição escolar: o Grupo Escolar Estevam de Oliveira da cidade de Juiz de Fora – MG. O recorte temporal privilegiado refere-se aos primórdios da criação da Escola Noturna para adultos do sexo feminino, em 1914 até o ano de 1946 quando a União regulamenta a instrução primária para adolescentes e adultos, através da Lei Orgânica. O objetivo foi o de compreender os aspectos ligados à organização e funcionamento da escola noturna: o ordenamento normativo, a representação de escola noturna presente nos documentos, bem como os espaços, tempos, currículos, e principalmente, o conhecimento dos sujeitos que freqüentaram e produziram a primeira escola destinada aos trabalhadores da cidade de Juiz de Fora, a “Manchester Mineira”. Recorremos às formulações teórico-metodológicas da História Cultural cujos referenciais têm possibilitado o estudo e a compreensão de novos objetos da historiografia da educação permitido um novo olhar sobre as instituições escolares. Para o desenvolvimento dessa investigação foi percorrido um sinuoso caminho metodológico que percorreu a revisão bibliográfica dos principais temas pertinentes à pesquisa e a análise de fontes escritas, orais e iconográficas. Como suporte teórico pode-se destacar as contribuições de MAGALHÃES (2004); FARIA FILHO (2003) e SOUZA (2006). O diálogo com essas fontes nos permitiu conhecer a mobilização em prol da educação dos operários da cidade, e também, a compreensão da dinâmica de construção e do cotidiano do primeiro Grupo Escolar Noturno, público, destinado aos trabalhadores, com seus conflitos e experiências. Vale ressaltar que, em determinado momento, esse publico se constituiu de crianças, jovens e adultos. Este trabalho se mostra relevante ao realçar alguns aspectos da história da população, do aluno/trabalhador e da cidade de Juiz de Fora e o meu desejo de contribuir para o debate atual sobre o ensino público no Brasil.
This research focus in the reconstitution of the history of a school institution: the Group Estevam de Oliveira in the city of Juiz de Fora - MG.The historical moment was the creation of the Nocturnal School for adults of the feminine sex, from 1914 until 1946 when the Union regulates the primary instruction for adolescents and adults, through the “Organic Law”. The objective was to understand the aspects to the organization and functioning of the nocturnal school: the normative order, the representation of present nocturnal school in documents, as well as the spaces, times, resumes, and mainly, the knowledge of the citizens that had frequented and created the first school destined to the workers of the city of Juiz de Fora, the " Manchester Mineira”. The base was the theory-methodology from the Cultural History for the formularizations of this study. For the development of the research a bibliographical revision of the main pertinent subjects and the analysis of written sources, prays and iconographic was performed. As theoretical support I used the contributions from MAGALHÃES (2004); FARIA FILHO (2003) and SOUZA (2006).The dialogue with these sources allowed us to know the mobilization in favor of the education for the laborers of the city, and also, the understanding of the dynamics of construction and the daily of the first Nocturnal, public school, destined for the workers, with its conflicts and experiences. It is important to point out that, at a defined moment, this public was constituted of children, young and adults. This work shows some aspects of the history of the inhabitant, the student/worker and the city of Juiz de Fora and my desire to contribute with the discussion on public education.

Este trabalho pretende estudar a influência da arquitectura moderna brasileira, através do vocabulário estético da chamada Escola Carioca, em Moçambique, no último quartel da colonização portuguesa, compreendido entre 1950 e 1975. A fotografia foi utilizada por ter sido o principal meio de divulgação da arquitectura brasileira veiculada em livros e periódicos especializados, no período áureo da sua divulgação, entre 1940 e 1960. A partir da análise da fotografia pretende-se identificar os elementos desta arquitectura que tiveram impacto no momento de recepção em Portugal, para assim observar a forma como os arquitectos portugueses actuantes em Moçambique durante este período, interpretaram os temas eleitos como definidores da estética do moderno brasileiro. A análise desta influência foi feita a partir de três temas tidos como representantes da brasilidade arquitectónica: dispositivos de atendimento ao clima, diálogo com as artes e a plasticidade

Currently, in the period of Poststructualism literature is widely approached as a cultural and social phenomenon and the aims of literary studies as the illuminating of social codes, ideology etc. embedded in literature. This study evaluates the contribution of specific critics working within the so-called "New paradigm". The concept "New paradigm" is used as an umbrella term covering a number of distinct developments, referring to literature as a system of literary "actions" rather than as a canon of books. In recent years several Afrikaans critics have embraced or adapted current theories in the domains of Deconstruction, Ideology Criticism, Literary, Sociology, Recepticm Aesthetics, Semiotics and Feminism. This study explores and evaluates the application of such theoretical paradigms to their work in the field of practical criticism. This study also explores the relationship between current theories of literature and their antecedents. The notion of current literary theory and practice not only as a broadening of scope and content of the notion of the "literary" but on the other hand as a liberation of theory and practice from an over-deterministic thrust (i.e. the approach of literature as no more than a set of social documents) is also evaluated in this study. A twofold aim of this study can thus be defined: a. to determine the extent to which the shift from the "old" to "new" theories was made necessary by the developing literary and social scene; b. to examine the links beween theory and practice in the work of specific, key figures in Afrikaans. Is it possible for theory and practice to be separated? Is there an important consistence in the relationship between the two in the work of the figures chosen?

A presente dissertação tem como foco a análise das origens ideológico-institucionais, das doutrinas e das práticas da Sociedade Brasileira de Defesa da Tradição, Família e Propriedade (TFP), fundada em 1960 na cidade de São Paulo, na forma de uma associação privada civil de católicos, e registrada sob a direção de Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira (1908-1995). A TFP chegou a alcançar vinte e seis países, em cinco continentes. Nossa pesquisa contemplou temporalmente a década de sessenta do século XX, período de maior força da entidade. Pesquisamos o discurso em prol da ordem social cristã, bem como as práticas desse grupo, que promoveu: campanhas de rua, manifestos e artigos largamente reproduzidos na imprensa nacional. A principal preocupação dessa sociedade era o combate ao comunismo e à infiltração deste nos meios sociais, políticos e religiosos. Avaliamos o paulatino afastamento da TFP em relação à hierarquia católica brasileira, o acirramento das relações da sociedade com a Igreja Católica no Brasil e como, no interior do grupo, a figura do fundador passou de líder para profeta do reino de Maria na terra

Spatialisation, forme ouverte, musique répétitive, théâtre musical, sérialisme, dodécaphonisme, diatonisme, chromatisme, géométrie fractale, électroacoustique et recherches sonores de la musique concrète, alliance musique-science-technologie, multiplicité stylistique, sont, globalement, les notions centrales qui caractérisent l'orientation musicale et esthétique de la musique portugaise des années 90. Ces notions sont illustrées par des exemples tirés des catalogues d'oeuvres de quatre compositeurs et ensuite exemplifiées par des analyses de quatre pièces pour piano : "Mirrors" d'António Pinho Vargas, "Réitérations" de João Rafael, "Pirâmides de Cristal" de João Pedro Oliveira et, "Estudos de sonoridades" de Filipe Pires. Des questions sur l'interprétation sont également soulevées. A travers la notion de geste musical, il nous a été possible par cette étude de confronter interprétation musicale et interprétation analytique. Cette confrontation, nous en rendrons compte succintement en postface. La place de cette réflexion répondant peut-être au choix d'un lien aujourd'hui établi qui aura permis ce travail - de l'exécution à l'analyse -, le même enfin - de l'analyse à l'interprétation
Spatialization, open form, repetitive music, music-theatre, serialism, dodecaphonism, diatonicism, chromatism, fractal geometry, electroacoustic and sound explorations of concrete music, alliance music-science-technology, stylistic multiplicity, are altogether the key notions that characterise the musical and aesthetic orientation of Portuguese music during the nineties. These concepts are illustrated by examples drawn from the work list of four composers and then exemplified by analyses of four piano pieces : "Mirrors", by António Pinho Vargas, "Réitérations", by João Rafael, "Pirâmides de cristal", by João Pedro Oliveira and "Estudos de sonoridades", by Filipe Pires. Issues on interpretation are also raised. Using the notion of musical gesture, the present study confronts musical interpretation and analytical interpretation, as discussed in the postscript. This reflexion resulted from the establishment of a new association, that ultimately made this work possible - from performance to analysis - or else - from analysis to interpretation

Abstract (sommario):
As a loyal Empire man and ardent conscriptionist, Irish born Senator Paddy Lynch swam against the prevailing Irish Catholic Labor political current. He was one of those MP’s who followed Prime Minister W.M. Hughes out of the Federal Labor caucus in November 1916, serving out the rest of his political career in the Nationalist ranks. On the face of things, he represents something of a contradiction. A close examination of Lynch’s youth in Ireland, his early years in Australia and his subsequent parliamentary career helps us to resolve this apparent paradox. It also enables us to build up a picture of Lynch the man and to explain his political odyssey. He emerges as representative of that early generation of conservative Laborites (notably J.C. Watson, W.G. Spence and George Pearce) who, once they had achieved their immediate goals of reform, saw their subsequent role as defending the prevailing social order. Like many of these men, Lynch’s commitment to the labour movement’s principles of solidarity and collective endeavour co-existed with a desire for material self advancement. More fundamentally, when Lynch accumulated property and was eventually able to take up the occupation which he had known in Ireland,farming, his evolving class interest inevitably occasioned a change in political outlook. Lynch is shown to have been an essentially conservative Meath farmer whose early involvement in the labour movement in Australia can be largely explained as a temporary phase consequent on emigration. A single-minded and robust politician, Lynch was able to reconcile first his Irish and then his Australian nationalist loyalties with the cause of the Empire as the best guarantee of Australia’s future security and advancement. He both represented and reinforced the more conservative Irish Catholic political climate which prevailed in Western Australia, compared to the more populous eastern states. The relationship of the Catholic Irish to the early labour movement in Australia was more complex and problematical than orthodox thinking has allowed. As someone who straddled both political camps, Lynch encapsulated many of the inherent ambiguities of the immigrant Irish. As a loyal Empire man and ardent conscriptionist, Irish born Senator Paddy Lynch swam against the prevailing Irish Catholic Labor political current. He was one of those MP's who followed Prime Minister W.M. Hughes out of the Federal Labor caucus in November 1916, serving out the rest of his political career in the Nationalist ranks. On the face of things, he represents something of a contradiction. A close examination of Lynch's youth in Ireland, his early years in Australia and his subsequent parliamentary career helps us to resolve this apparent paradox. It also enables us to build up a picture of Lynch the man and to explain his political odyssey. He emerges as representative of that early generation of conservative Laborites (notably J.C. Watson, W.G. Spence and George Pearce) who, once they had achieved their immediate goals of reform, saw their subsequent role as defending the prevailing social order. Like many of these men, Lynch's commitment to the labour movement's principles of solidarity and collective endeavour co-existed with a desire for material self advancement. More fundamentally, when Lynch accumulated property and was eventually able to take up the occupation which he had known in Ireland, farming, his evolving class interest inevitably occasioned a change in political outlook. Lynch is shown to have been an essentially conservative Meath farmer whose early involvement in the labour movement in Australia can be largely explained as a temporary phase consequent on emigration. A single-minded and robust politician, Lynch was able to reconcile first his Irish and then his Australian nationalist loyalties with the cause of the Empire as the best guarantee of Australia's future security and advancement. He both represented and reinforced the more conservative Irish Catholic political climate which prevailed in Western Australia, compared to the more populous eastern states. The relationship of the Catholic Irish to the early labour movement in Australia was more complex and problematical than orthodox thinking has allowed. As someone who straddled both political camps, Lynch encapsulated many of the inherent ambiguities of the immigrant Irish. A study of his career allows us to gain a deeper insight into the complexities of the Irish-Australian experience.

In act I, scene 2 of Shakespeare's Hamlet, one of the key themes presented is the theme of order versus disorder. Gertrude's hasty marriage to Claudius and their lack of grief over the recent death of King Hamlet violate Hamlet's sense of order and are the cause of Hamlet's anger and despair in 1.2. Rather than contrast Hamlet with his uncle and mother, Olivier constructs an Oedipal relationship between Hamlet and Gertrude--unsupported by the text--that undermine's the characterization of Hamlet as a man of order. In contrast, Tony Richardson presents Claudius' and Gertrude's actions as a violation of the order in which Hamlet believes.

A presente dissertação examina a série "A Inspetora", do escritor paulista Ganymédes José Santos de Oliveira, que produziu para a editora carioca Ediouro, entre 1974 e 1988, quase 40 livros de bolso de mistério para jovens leitores em torno de uma turma de crianças moradoras de uma fazenda (a "Patota da Coruja de Papelão"). Além de coligir um detalhado perfil editorial e histórico da série junto aos arquivos da editora, que inclui tanto informações relativas a tiragens, formatos e reedições quanto investigações em torno do mistério envolvendo um dos livros do corpus, possivelmente silenciado pela própria editora durante os anos 70 (O Caso do Rei da Casa Preta), buscamos comparar também as narrativas com os parâmetros, regras e lógica próprios do gênero policial, no entendimento de teóricos como W. H. Auden, Todorov, Boileau-Narcejac, Otto Maria Carpeaux, Medeiros e Albuquerque e Sandra Reimão, entre outros. Ao redigirmos uma biografia do autor com base em entrevistas pouco divulgadas e correspondência ativa e passiva inédita descoberta durante a pesquisa no Arquivo Municipal de Casa Branca, procuramos ainda sugerir novas inflexões de leitura para o entendimento da carreira e obra de Ganymédes José, bem como chamar atenção para a relevância de seu trabalho no contexto da literatura infantojuvenil brasileira. Finalmente, tomando como base o primeiro volume da série, O Caso da Mula-sem-cabeça, oferecemos uma análise crítica e leitura do corpus destacando o que ele tem de mais curioso: 1) seu caráter tanto de literatura policial (onde se privilegia a razão e o intelecto como forma de desvendar crimes e mistérios) quanto de literatura de massa (os livros eram assinados de forma diferenciada pela autor e feitos por encomenda para a editora); 2) o curioso deslocamento do palco de suas narrativas de combate ao crime da cidade – que é o berço e quase mesmo a raison d' être do romance policial – para o campo; 3) um personagem principal (a Inspetora, a menina Eloísa) que alia a razão de um Sherlock Holmes à tradição clássica e um respeito às instituições (igreja, família, figuras de autoridade): diferentemente da prima Malu, vinda da capital São Paulo, Eloísa está sempre atenta às obrigatórias orações, ao respeito a pais e professores, à superioridade da cultura erudita e, finalmente, às vantagens da vida no campo contra todo o tumulto, violência e poluição das grandes cidades. Transparece, ao final de nosso trabalho, um autor que viveu para seus livros e que, na “Inspetora”, parecia resgatar o típico embate oitocentista entre a vida rural, a vida da tradição e dos valores cristãos e clássicos, e a vida urbana, a vida da velocidade e da tecnologia, dos valores modernos e menos humanistas.
The present dissertation examines the "A Inspetora" series, by Brazilian writer Ganymédes José Santos de Oliveira, who produced for publishing house Ediouro between 1974 and 1988 almost 40 crime pocket books aimed at young readers about a group of detective kids living at the countryside (the "Cardboard Owl Gang"). Apart from compiling an extensive and detailed profile on the historical and editorial aspects of the series using data prospected at Ediouro´s archives, which include information regarding pressing runs, formats and reissues as much as forays into the mystery around one of the books of the corpus, kept unpublished by the editor during the 70’s (O Caso do Rei da Casa Preta), we also aim at comparing the “Inspetora” narratives with the crime fiction parameters, logic and rules, as seen by scholars such as W. H. Auden, Todorov, Boileau-Narcejac, Otto Maria Carpeaux, Medeiros e Albuquerque and Sandra Reimão, among others. By presenting a biography of the author based on rare interviews and recently found epistolar material unearthed during our research at the Casa Branca’s City Archive, we propose new angles for approaching Ganymédes José and his work, as well as raising a flag that should draw more attention to the relevance of his writing in the context of Brazilian child-young adult literature. Finally, taking as starting point the inaugural volume of the series, O Caso da Mula-sem-cabeça, we offer a critical and analytical reading of the corpus bringing forth what is most peculiar in it: 1) its double aspect as crime fiction (in which one favours reason and intellect as the way to solve crimes and enigmas) and mass literature (being the books signed with pseudonym and produced as work-by-hire); 2) the curious displacement of the “stage” where the law-upholding stories take place, from the city – the craddle and even the raison d' être of the detective novel – to the countryside; 3) a main character (the Inspetora, the girl Eloísa) who allies the reasoning of a Sherlock Holmes to classic traditions and a respect to hegemonic institutions (church, family, figures of authority): very different from her cousin Malu, from capital São Paulo, Eloísa is always very careful with the mandatory prayers, with the respect due to parents and teachers, with the superiority of the erudite culture and, finally, with the advantages of the life in the countryside compared to all the turmoil, violence and pollution of the big cities. By the end of our work, shines through an author who lived for his books and who, in the “Inspetora” series, brings to life the typical 19th Century clash between rural life, tradition and Christian values and a urban life too fast and modern and technological, too devoid of humanist principles.

The following text is a Theology master's degree about the relation between the Catholic Church and the Society in ABC Region from 1964 to 1985. The objetive of the research is to improve the church's action towards the social challenges in the region that precedes and comes upon the Second Vatican Council where the eclesiological conception approaches the catholicism in the contemporary world. The militar civil coup caused by unstable politics and the need of structural reform in the country during this period. The Catholic Church presence in Bishop Jorge Marcos de Oliveira and Bishop Cláudio Hummes's pastoral action, both of them were diocesan bishops of Santo André in the period and contributed to the reflection about the interpretation of the relations between temporal and spiritual power in an institucional transformation period. The conception of revolution developed by Hannah Arendt will help with the dissertation verification of main hypothesis, examining the conception of mission of the catholic religion in the ABC region in social transformation (working class moviment and dictatorial governement) and with their own identity formation
O presente texto, dissertação de mestrado acadêmico em Teologia, trata das relações entre Igreja Católica e Sociedade na região do ABC Paulista entre 1964 a 1985. O objetivo da pesquisa é salientar a ação da Igreja diante dos desafios sociais da região, nos períodos que antecede e sucede o Concílio Vaticano II, onde a concepção eclesiológica aproxima o catolicismo do mundo contemporâneo. Nesse mesmo período, ocorre no Brasil o golpe civil-militar, fruto do período de instabilidade política e a necessidade de reformas estruturais no país. A presença da Igreja Católica na ação pastoral de Dom Jorge Marcos de Oliveira e Dom Cláudio Hummes, bispos diocesanos de Santo André no referido período, contribui para a reflexão sobre a interpretação das relações entre poder temporal e espiritual num período de transformações institucionais. O conceito de revolução, desenvolvido por Hannah Arendt, ajudará na verificação da hipótese principal da dissertação, analisando a concepção de missão da religião católica no ABC na transformação social (movimento operário e governo ditatorial) e na formação de sua própria identidade

O foco principal de nosso estudo é o livro Diário da Patetocracia crônicas brasileiras 1968, de José Carlos Oliveira (Vitória, 1934-1986), com o título A crônica e a crônica de José Carlos Oliveira em 1968 o império do sério e do útil. Como não há um estatuto da crônica brasileira, tivemos que inferi-lo, por meio de abordagem histórica, a partir do século XIX. Sinteticamente, Machado de Assis esboça uma qualificação para o gênero - ainda se referindo ao ancestral folhetim - como o casamento do útil e do fútil com o sério e o do frívolo. Nos textos de JCO publicados diariamente no Jornal do Brasil e recolhidos no citado livro (obra póstuma), o que vemos é um autor trabalhando na contramão do fútil e do frívolo, e do lirismo/intimismo bossanovista que caracteriza a crônica dos anos 50 e 60. A tensão social do momento (o AI-5 sairia no dia 13/12) encontra um José Carlos Oliveira sempre a postos, em sua coluna diária, para abordar temas relevantes, com um tratamento no mais das vezes sério e persuasivo, a ponto de termos dificuldade de nomear parte de seus textos como crônicas. Como um homem de seu tempo, em situação, assumidamente existencialista, ele responde às demandas com engajamento, no sentido sartreano. Para interpretar a atitude do autor, recorremos ao conceito de arquitetônica da respondibilidade, de Bakhtin. Propomos que seja possível estabelecer uma ponte entre essas duas perspectivas para identificar a dinâmica que rege as atitudes éticas dos indivíduos, na sua singularidade. Em 1968, nossa avaliação é de que o ético se sobrepõe ao estético, nos textos examinados.
This study main focus is the book Diário da patetocracia – crônicas brasileiras 1968, by José Carlos Oliveira (Vitória, 1934-1986). Since there is no official status for the Brazilian crônica, we had to infer it based on a historic approach beginning with the XIX century, when Machado de Assis sketches a definition for the genre – still addressing the ancestral serial – as the marriage between the useful and the futile with the serious and the frivolous. In JCO's texts published every day in Jornal do Brasil and later collected in the aforementioned book (a posthumous work), we see an author working against the futile and the frivolous, as well as against the lyricism/intimism derived from bossa nova that characterized the crônica in the 1950s and 1960s. The social tension of that era would find a José Carlos Oliveira always ready, in his daily column, to address relevant topics in a serious and persuasive way, making it even difficult for us to call some of his texts “crônicas”. As a man of his time, in “situation”, openly existentialist, he answers those requests with a sartrean “commitment”. In order to understand the author's attitude, we resort to Bakhtin's concept of Architectonics of Answerability. We propose that it is possible to connect these two perspectives in order to identify the dynamics governing the individuals' ethical attitudes. In the examined texts from 1968, our evaluation is that the ethical dimension overlaps the aesthetical one.

The alginic acid or alginates are acidic polysaccharides found in brown seaweed widely used in food, cosmetic, medical and pharmaceutical industry. This paper proposes the extraction, chemical characterization and verification of the pharmacological activities of brown seaweed variegata Lobophora . The alginate was extracted from the seaweed Lobophora variegata and part was sulphated for comparative purposes. The native extract showed 42% total sugar, 65% uronic acid, 0,36 % protein and 0% of sulfate, while the sulfate showed 39% , 60%, 0.36% and 27,92 % respectively. The presence of a sulfate group may be observed by the metachromasia with toluidine blue in electrophoresis system and characteristic vibration 1262,34 cm-1 in infrared spectroscopy connections assigned to S = O. We observed the formation of films and beads of native alginate, where more concentrated solution 6% resulted in a thicker and more consistent film. Native alginate showed proliferative activity at concentrations (25 and 50 mcg), (50 mg) and (100 mg) in 3T3 cell line in 24h, 48h and 72h, respectively , as the sulfated (100 mg) in 24 . Also showed antiproliferative or cytotoxic activity in HeLa cells of strain, (25 and 100 mg), (25 and 100 mg) and (25, 50 and 100 mg), to native, now for the sulfate concentrations (100 mg) in 24 (25, 50 and 100 mg) in 48 hours, and (50 and 100 mg ) 72h. For their antioxidant activity, the sulfated alginates have better total antioxidant activity reaching 29 % of the native activity while 7.5 % of activity . For the hydroxyl radical AS showed high inhibition ( between 77-83 % ) in concentrations, but the AN surpassed these numbers in the order of 78-92 % inhibition. The reducing power of AN and AS ranged between 39-82 % . In the method of ferric chelation NA reached 100 % chelating while the AS remained at a plateau oscillating 6.5%. However, in this study , we found alginates with promising pharmacological activities, to use in various industries as an antioxidant / anti-tumor compound
Os ?cidos alg?nicos ou alginatos s?o polissacar?deos ?cidos presentes em algas marrons amplamente utilizadas na ind?stria de alimentos, est?tica, m?dica e farmac?utica. Este trabalho prop?e a extra??o, caracteriza??o qu?mica e verifica??o das atividades farmacol?gicas da alga marinha marrom Lobophora variegata. O alginato foi extra?do da alga Lobophora variegata e parte foi sulfatado para fins comparativos. Apresentou tamb?m atividade antiproliferativa ou citot?xica em c?lulas da linhagem HeLa, com (25 e 100 ?g), (25 e 100 ?g) e (25, 50 e 100 ?g), para o nativo, j? para a sulfatada nas concentra??es (100 ?g) em 24h, (25, 50 e 100 ?g) em 48h, e (50 e 100 ?g) 72h. Quanto a atividade antioxidante, os alginatos sulfatados apresentam melhor atividade antioxidante total chegando a 29% de atividade enquanto o nativo 7,5% de atividade. Para o radical hidroxila o AS apresentou alta inibi??o (entre 77-83%) nas concentra??es testadas, por?m o AN superou estes n?meros na ordem de 78-92% de inibi??o. O poder redutor de AN e AS variou entre 39-82%. Na metodologia de quela??o f?rrica, o NA chegou a 100% de quela??o, enquanto o AS permaneceu em um plat? oscilando em 6,5%. Contudo, neste trabalho, pudemos constatar alginatos com promissoras atividades farmacol?gicas, com uso nas diversas ind?strias como um composto antioxidante/antitumoral

O Objetivo central desse trabalho é fazer uma revisão bibliográfica de parte da história da eleição presidencial ocorrida em 1978, buscando traçar uma relação das ações e as estratégicas pensadas e utilizadas na época na qual influenciaram outras eleições pós período eleitoral de 1978 e que já faziam parte da gama de ferramentas utilizadas pelos candidatos aos cargos de presidente do brasil.

À la vision des films de Pier Paolo Pasolini, Manoel de Oliveira et Sergueï Paradjanov, on peut être surpris par leur préférence pour les formes et thématiques archaïques, c'est-à-dire issues de références anciennes. L'observation de la singularité d'un tel cinéma sert de point de départ à la réflexion. L'archaïsme volontaire de ces réalisateurs semble les isoler dans le champ de l'histoire du cinéma, et pourtant leurs films recèlent aussi des enjeux résolument modernes. À partir du paradoxe qui oppose à première vue les deux termes, ce travail s'efforce de montrer comment l'archaïsme constitue un aspect de la modernité filmique, reposant sur le choix volontaire d'une impureté esthétique qui engage une redéfinition du cinéma, et même de ses possibles politiques. Les choix archaïques des cinéastes constituent en effet une tentative de refondation déjà moderne dans la mesure où elle s'oppose à toute restriction des possibilités filmiques. Pasolini, Paradjanov et Oliveira se proposent donc de penser le cinéma différemment, mais aussi d'interroger leur manière de le pratiquer. Il ne s'agit pas de redéfinir le seul cinéma, mais également ses objets et leur place dans le sensible. Petit peuple des faubourgs romains, visages populaires de Transcaucasie, paysans pauvres du Portugal : les « oubliés » du cinéma et de la société retrouvent images et voix chez les cinéastes concernés. La dimension esthétique du choix de l'impureté filmique n'irait ainsi pas sans une vocation politique qui tient à l'ambiguïté permanente de films dont les brouillages volontaires sont aussi une façon de contrer les hiérarchies conventionnelles. Le développement de la réflexion suit la structure bipartite suggérée par son sujet. Les deux parties fonctionnent toutefois ensemble. Il s'agit d'abord de confronter la notion de « spécificité » du cinéma à la singularité des films étudiés, afin de pouvoir définir ce que l'impureté fait à la forme-cinéma. Le premier chapitre se demande comment qualifier les cinéastes qui ont recours à des formes archaïques alors même qu'ils sont les contemporains d'un cinéma dit « de la modernité ». Dans le deuxième chapitre, on poursuit l'exploration des manifestations archaïques-modernes en étudiant les formes prises par la contamination. Celle-ci générant ambiguïté et altération, les films impurs accueillent aussi une marge dont la visibilité nouvelle permet de repenser la distribution du sensible. Le second temps de la réflexion est ainsi consacré aux enjeux qui lient esthétique impure et politique du partage. Le troisième chapitre étudie les types d'altérités auxquels s'ouvre la forme-cinéma impure. Le quatrième et dernier chapitre s'efforce de comprendre les fonctions occupées par l'exposition des marges et des disparus. Leur préservation n'est pas seulement une survivance mémorielle : les cinéastes en postulent la possible résistance, esthétique et politique. Leurs écarts formels ne relèvent ainsi pas seulement de l'expérimentation mais d'une ambition politique d'exposition. À l'issue des démonstrations, on tient à conserver le paradoxe initial opposant archaïsme et modernité, car l'écart qu'il suppose entre les termes représente la posture impure des cinéastes. Ils occupent volontairement une position à l'écart. Sur ce même seuil se tiennent leurs films dont l'impureté consiste bien à ne jamais céder à la tentation de l'univocité. L'archaïsme moderne définit alors une prise d'écart qui est aussi une hauteur de vue permettant de penser autrement l'écriture de l'histoire par sa refondation permanente. L'acte de reprise apparaît alors comme le geste garantissant une éthique du filmeur
Watching Pasolini's, Oliveira's and Parajanov's films, the spectator can be surprised by their taste for archaic themes and forms, inherited from ancient references. This thesis takes its source in the observance of this cinema's singularity. The filmakers' willfull archaism seems to isolate them in the history of cinema. Nevertheless their films also show modern stakes. From the paradox between the two terms, this work tries to show how the archaism is an aspect of film modernity. It leans on the voluntary choice of formal impurity which questions the very definition of cinema, and its political possibilities even. Pasolini, Parajanov and Oliveira offer to think cinema differently, but also to question their own way of practicing it. It is not only the cinema that needs to be redefined, but the place of its objects too. Poor people of Roma, popular faces of Transcaucasia, little peasants from Portugal : the “forgotten” from cinema and society can finally be seen and heard in these filmakers' movies. The formal dimension of filmic impurity is linked to a political vocation which holds on to the permanent ambivalence in the films. Their willfull interferences are also a way to fight the conventionnal hierarchies. The development of the thesis is divided in two parts, as its subject invites it to proceed. Nevertheless both parts work together. First I confronte the “specificity” of cinema to the singularity of the films I study, in order to define what impurity does to the form-cinema. The contamination generates ambivalence and alteration : impure films let see a marginality that is usually banished from cinema and society. The 1930s represented a new phase in the history of Brazil. The Revolution of 1930 ended the First Republic, which lasted for exactly 41 years (1889- 1930). Deserves to be emphasized the international environment of the period, where a severe economic crisis shakes the U.S. and European countries, raising questions about the functionality of democratic institutions, increasing emergence of strong states, guided by a more interventionist stance, whether in the social structure as in economics. Within this perspective, in Brazil, the new ruling elites linked to Getúlio Vargas, govern the country in the midst of a lot of events. In Brazil, we have witnessed an era of true boiling doctrinal ideologies and actions moving the national intelligentsia. The country witnessing the rise of various movements: political, Catholics, social, etc. At this time the rise of PCB (Brazilian Communist Party), the rise of AIB (Brazilian Integralist Action), as well as the consolidation of LEC (Catholic Electoral League) occurs. The Catholic movement, represented by different intellectual figures, maintains an eminently conservative and traditionalist wing, which will see its skyline early signs and protests to come to originate in the country - with more force, from the second half of the 1940s - the progressive and modernist Catholicism, inspired by the integral humanism. One of the major intellectual figures of the period representing the state of São Paulo is Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira. Lawyer and devout Catholic, and son of a family of royalist and ultramontane training, he represents through his thought and political action the Catholic conservative strand. Thus, the goal of this dissertation is to analyze the trajectory of Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira in this context. Thought and action, as a Catholic leader and political leader in the Catholic Electoral League and later as Deputy Constituency, as well as your performance in the journal 'O Legionário' and also as President of the Archdiocesan Board of Catholic Action of the State of São Paulo. To carry out this work will be analyzed his articles published in newspapers, in addition to his books, speeches and interviews.

A década de 1930 representou uma nova fase na História do Brasil. A Revolução de 1930 pôs fim a Primeira República, que perdurou por exatos 41 anos (1889-1930). Também merece ser ressaltada a conjuntura internacional do período, onde uma grave crise econômica abala os EUA e os países europeus, levantando questionamentos sobre a funcionalidade das instituições democráticas, aumentando o surgimento de estados fortes, pautados em uma postura mais intervencionista, seja na estrutura social como na economia. Dentro desta perspectiva, no Brasil, as novas elites no poder, vinculadas a Getúlio Vargas, governam o país em meio a uma grande quantidade de eventos. Assistiremos a uma época de verdadeira ebulição de ideologias e de ações doutrinárias movimentando a intelectualidade nacional. O país assiste a ascensão de variados movimentos: políticos, católicos, sociais, etc. Neste momento ocorre a ascensão do PCB (Partido Comunista Brasileiro), o surgimento da AIB (Ação Integralista Brasileira), assim como a consolidação da LEC (Liga Eleitoral Católica). O movimento católico, representado por diferentes figuras intelectuais, mantém uma ala eminentemente conservadora e tradicionalista, que passará a visualizar em seu horizonte os primeiros sinais e mobilizações que virão a originar no país - com mais força, a partir da segunda metade da década de 1940 - o catolicismo progressista e modernista, inspirado no humanismo integral. Uma das principais figuras intelectuais deste período, no estado de São Paulo, será Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira. Advogado e católico fervoroso, filho de uma família de formação ultramontana e monarquista, ele representará por meio de seu pensamento e ação política a vertente conservadora católica. A meta desta dissertação é analisar a trajetória de Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira neste período. Pensamento e ação, a partir de sua atuação como líder católico e político, tanto na Liga Eleitoral Católica e depois como Deputado Constituinte, assim como sua atuação no Jornal 'O Legionário' e também como Presidente da Junta Arquidiocesana da Ação Católica Paulista. Para isso serão analisados os seus artigos publicados em jornais, além de seus livros, discursos e entrevistas.

Cette thèse confronte les manifestes du mouvement Étonnants Voyageurs et l’œuvre d’Olivier Rolin. D’emblée située dans l’histoire contemporaine de la France, elle met en lumière les mécanismes de la mondialisation littéraire entendue comme phénomène planétaire. La dimension mondiale de la littérature française est appréhendée dans sa relation aux littératures étrangères qui incluent aussi les autres littératures francophones, à partir de l’analyse du discours manifestaire dans son rapport à l’histoire et au cadre institutionnel. À partir d’une approche multiscalaire, qui croise la transdisciplinarité et la systémique, cette étude resitue la « littérature-monde » dans son héritage littéraire français et montre en outre que l’ouverture aux littératures francophones concourt au renforcement du centre parisien. L’articulation socio-historique et poétique du corpus met en avant un triple mouvement de mondialisation : celle-ci résulte d’abord, à la suite d’une crise dans le champ littéraire, d’un ensemble de stratégies de singularisation mises en œuvre par des écrivains périphériques centraux et étrangers qui entendent contester les canons traditionnels ; elle répond ensuite à l’exigence ressentie par les écrivains d’élaborer des arts poétiques du monde ou du réel, des pratiques de conquête de l’ailleurs et de cosmopolitisme, après un trauma national ou individuel qui implique la détestation de la nation d’origine ; elle correspond enfin au besoin de créer des œuvres susceptibles de construire un imaginaire qui serait le reflet de la mondialisation contemporaine. Il est alors possible de percevoir la mondialité dans les programmes littéraires et dans la littérature viatique en France comme une production qui s’élabore en réaction aux circonstances propres à l’ère du temps et comme une conséquence du jeu entre tradition et modernité
This thesis confronts the manifestos of the Étonnants Voyageurs movement and Olivier Rolin’s work. From the outset in the contemporary history of France, she highlights the mecanisms of literay globalization understood as a global phénomenon. The global dimension of French literature is apprehended in its relation to foreign literature, which also include other Francophone literatures, from the analysis of the speech in its report to history and the institutional framework. From a multiscal approach, which crosses transdisciplinarity and systemic, this study resituates the « world literature in French » in its French literay heritage and shows that openess to francophone literature contributes to the strengthening of the Parisian center. The socio-historical and poetic articulation of the corpus puts forward a triple movement of globalization : this one results at first, following a crisis in the literary field, from a set of singularization strategies is implemented by central and foreign peripheral writers who intend to challenge traditional canons ; it then responds to the demand felt by writers to develop poetic arts of the world or the real, the practices of conquest of elsewhere and cosmopolitism, after national or individual trauma which implies the detestation of nation of origin ; finally, it corresponds to the need to create works likely to construct an imaginary that would relfect contemporary globalization. It’s then possible to perceive globality in the literary programs and the viatic literature in France as a production which develops in reaction to the circumstances proper and as a consequence of the interplay between tradition and modernity

This paper explore some issues experienced within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Santo André, located in the region known as the largest industrial park of Latin America, ABC Paulista, at the metropolitan area of the city of Sao Paulo, between 1964 and 1980, period of Civil-Military Dictatorship in Brazil. For this analysis, we considered social initiatives discussed, above all, from the Second Vatican Council, and with more vehemence, in Latin America, in the meetings of the Episcopal Conferences of Medellin, 1968, and Puebla, 1979. Based on actions promoted by Don Jorge Marcos de Oliveira and Don Claudio Hummes, we have tried to go through important historical moments about the struggle of the workers of the region and the support offered by the Catholic Church, through its movements, in a period of economic recession, social problems, political repression and intolerance by the Brazilian State. To understand this context, we get support on historical and critical reading about the period, documents that retains vestiges of that time, subject who lived their experiences that time and pastoral guidance documents from the Catholic Church The Don Jorge Marcos de Oliveira and Don Claudio Hummes initiatives influenced the actions of the working class in ABC Paulista and participated in the process of reorganization of labor unions in the late 1970’s, resulting in big strike movements that, therefore, reflected in the process of political opening
O presente trabalho explora algumas das questões vivenciadas no âmbito da Diocese de Santo André, localizada na região, então, conhecida como o maior parque industrial da América Latina, no ABC Paulista, zona metropolitana do Estado de São Paulo, entre os anos de 1964 e 1980, período de Ditadura Civil-Militar no Brasil. Para esta análise, consideramos as iniciativas sociais discutidas, sobretudo, a partir do Concílio Vaticano II, e com mais veemência na América Latina, nos encontros das Conferências Episcopais de Medellín, em 1968 e Puebla, em 1979. Partindo da atuação das figuras de Dom Jorge Marcos de Oliveira e Dom Cláudio Hummes, procuramos percorrer momentos históricos importantes para a luta dos trabalhadores da região e o apoio que a Igreja pode oferecer através de seus movimentos, num período de recessão econômica, problemas sociais, repressão e intolerância do Estado Brasileiro. Para compreender este contexto, nos apoiamos na leitura histórica e crítica sobre o período, documentos que conservam resquícios desta época, em experiências de sujeitos que viveram este tempo e nos documentos de orientação pastoral da Igreja Católica. As iniciativas de D. Jorge Marcos de Oliveira e Dom Claudio Hummes influenciaram a ação da classe operária no ABC Paulista e participaram do processo de reorganização sindical em fins da década de 1970, resultando nas grandes movimentações grevistas e que, consequentemente, refletiram no processo de abertura política
