Abstract (sommario):
This paper aims to highlight the efficiency of using the method of observing student behavior in the educational environment. Observation is one of the most widely used research methods in the social sciences. The characteristics aimed at constructing the instrument were: accuracy, focus, duration of observation, awareness of the presence of the observer, the level of information of the subject. In order to observe the student’s behavior in the school environment, the observation grid with standardized answers was designed on the Likert scale (scale from 1 to 10), following the degree of expression of the described behavioral manifestations. The observation grid of the student’s behavior in the school environment aims at supervising 4 dimensions (each with 5 items: observable behaviors): interest in school activities, organization of activity / punctuality in the school environment, resistance to intellectual effort, socio-affective relationships. Following the application of the research tool, depending on the scores obtained, it is recommended the targeted psycho-pedagogical intervention at the level of the deficient dimension / behaviors, as well as the monitoring of the results through the periodic application.

Abstract (sommario):
In the present paper, the method of self-observation is examined as the basis for the pedagogy of special educational interventions in people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). This is part of the informal pedagogical assessment that parents attempt as co-educators but also philologists as intervening educators in order to understand children with autism. The main work case explores the dynamics of pedagogical self-observation in a specific case study from Truffaut's French film, "The Wild Child" (Itard, 1990). The methodology of observing the special educational needs with emphasis on ADS is applied according to the pedagogical tool, the Targeted Individual Structured Integration Program of Special Education and Training (TISIPSET) (Drossinou-Korea, 2017). The results present data from the interactive relationship during homeschooling between the educator and physician Itard, who has adopted and educates Victor "The Wild Child." The observations and self-observations recorded confirm the difficulties of understanding childhood autism.

Abstract (sommario):
Objective. To develop and implement a methodology to teach clinical skills to medical students in busy clinical settings. Methods. The Structured Clinical Observation (SCO) program with guidelines and observation sheets for history-taking, physical examination, and information-giving skills was created. Faculty development preceded SCO implementation for pediatric clerkship students at Jefferson Children's Health Center. SCO observation sheets were tabulated and faculty and student questionnaires were administered. Results. The mean number of observations per student was 6, with 368 observations done for 63 students. SCOs were highly rated as an educational tool by faculty and students. The impact of the SCO program on faculty ability to perform clinical duties was initially minimal, but increased over the year. Observations were used primarily for feedback, but did influence outpatient clinical faculty's evaluation of two thirds of the students. Only 50% of students reported being observed in other rotations. Conclusions. SCOs are a feasible, inexpensive, qualitatively effective method of teaching clinical skills. The quantitative effect of SCOs on performance needs to be evaluated.

Abstract (sommario):
The study gives an insight into language educational observations followed in a Hungarian multilingual–multicultural kindergarten. It briefly describes the special setting in Fáy András Kindergarten, Pápa, where 23 foreign families’ children were received in September 2008. The aim of the article is to give reasons why observation as a research method was chosen in spite of its relative difficulties under pre-school circumstances: how its drawbacks could be overcome and how its benefits could be exploited. Besides, it gives an account of the applied research tools and technology which may prove to be indispensable during educational observations. The report gives a closer look at the kindergarten activities which help children and kindergarten teachers to create a linguistic, educational and social community, and then discusses the relevant language educational issues. Conclusions along discussion are also made to reveal the prominent interrelations and interdependence in this complex educational setting.

Abstract (sommario):
How to make Z generation children be interested in educational material? Which methods and means to employ, for educational process to be fluid and education material to be exiting and interesting? While teaching primary school students the world cognition subject, I’ve noticed, that children get exited on these days when “something interesting and new goes in school besides regular classes”. To make educational process interesting and useful – that was my goal, when we started studying “Insect development” subject. I’ve relied on the proposition of many psychologists and pedagogues, which states that Z generation children are most interested and motivated by exploration. I’ve made a proposition for students – to keep and observe the life and development of exotic cockroaches in our classroom. The intriguing proposal caught the attention of the children and made them motivated to take action. With the help of children’s parents we made a “home” for the cockroaches in the classroom and started the observation. The exotic cockroaches successfully live, feed and multiply for few years now and make the “education material” for several generations of preschoolers. In my report I would like to present the process of the observation of exotic cockroaches and the making of the methodical medium – educational video film. Also, I will present the findings that I have made while applying these practical methods: experiment, observation, “press conference”, “game-test” in teaching of “Insect development” subject during world cognition class in 4th grade. Keywords: observation, exotic cockroaches, educational method, insect development

Abstract (sommario):
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 is the ‘gold standard’ autism spectrum disorder observational assessment, and it is increasingly used in South Africa. However, its use is limited to English speakers, as it has not been translated into the country’s other 10 official languages. Moreover, the cultural appropriateness of this tool has not been explored in South Africa. The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 was translated into Afrikaans and assessed for cultural appropriateness to the ‘coloured’ population from low-middle socioeconomic status backgrounds in the Western Cape Province. Using a mixed-methods approach, three components associated with method bias in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 were investigated: language used, social interactions and activities, and materials. An ethnographic investigation of play, social interaction and social activities was conducted in a community sample ( n = 40), and the Afrikaans Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 was pre-piloted in a clinical sample ( n = 7). Results highlighted unique aspects of the language (‘Kaaps’) that need to be considered during Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 administration. The social interaction demands of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 appeared appropriate, and sufficient familiarity with Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 materials and activities was found to support the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2. Guidelines for administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 to this population were generated to improve cultural sensitivity and cultural appropriateness and to reduce method bias.

Abstract (sommario):
Background: Professional ethics is of great importance in health-related fields, and observation of professional ethics by the treatment staff will lead to increased patient satisfaction. Legislators have attempted to improve adherence to professional ethics by compiling codes of ethics and holding professional ethics classes in universities. Despite these efforts to develop such codes of ethics, treatment staff do not always fully comply with professional ethics, leading to decreases in patient satisfaction. Methods: Based on the authors’ experiences and related studies, we present several suggestions for improving the observation of professional ethics among treatment staff. Results: Strategies that can help improve ethical-behavioral patterns among treatment staff are as follows: Changing university entrance examinations, increasing professional ethics credits, teaching ethics regardless of religion, teaching the history of medicine, logotherapy of students during their university years, training in psychology as the core of medical education programs, and reformulating the incentive and punishment system. Conclusion: It is required to make specific changes in the selection method and training of treatment staff to enhance client satisfaction. These recommendations are given according to the health system of Iran, but they can also be used in other countries.

Abstract (sommario):
A Natural Science Education is important to every human being because it helps us to understand the surrounding world, realise the systems and processes of care of the life in our environment. It helps to apply the knowledge in our everyday routines and in professional activities responsibly. The learning (studying) is knowledge, observation and experiments. The observation complements the theoretical knowledge, develops the abilities to apply them in practice. Accomplishing the observations, students experience the joy of discovering. (Gurevičiūtė.1998). Observation gives the knowledge about the nature and it helps students to recognize and discover themselves. It develops the scientific thinking and work skills. On purpose to engage students in the educational materials and to achieve the results what the teaching curriculum demands the teacher is supposed to find different methods and ways of teaching and education which the expectative results could bring. The research material of National students’ achievements motivates to search for the new working forms with students. With reference to the conclusions of the research material of National students’ achievements (2006) it’s true to say students can’t apply their knowledge in practice and in real life. One of the ways to solve this problem is the cognitive education of students’ abilities – the practical activities in the educational process. Choosing this way a teacher needs to work untraditionally: to involve students into the process of the education and observation, to act together in the exploratory and wait its results; to fix, observe, analyse, communicate and collaborate. Every teacher concerns that his/her subject would be interesting and attractive to a student. He or she wants the teaching material could be visual, fitting for a child‘s age, comprehensible, interesting and delightful with the final results. During the practice of my work I notice that the effective teaching and good results could be achieved while studying one theme some teaching methods of practical activities are applied; and one of them is when a student could teach contemporaries. Students are active all the time applying such methods of practical activities; and the learning doesn’t become long and boring. It motivates to concern with how the cognitive process would develop further. The reflection of students gives nice results as well: students can explain in their own words what the observation they did; they can analyse and make conclusions. In this article we have presented one example of the practical teaching method – observation in Science lessons. Accomplishing the observation we consolidate knowledge about the sowing, growing and care of plants; theoretical knowledge was applied in practice. We have learnt to observe, fix proceedings and make conclusions. Advantages of practical activities and observations are the increase of the motivation of students and the improved education of their different capacities and competences. It is more interesting to work personally. The proper preparation for the practical activities leads to more effective work. The tasks have to fit the level of knowledge and abilities of students. Students have to understand what they are doing. So the tasks must be concrete and formulated clearly. A perfect knowledge of the subject is necessary for the proper preparation. Accomplishing observations the gifted students must be encouraged to share their works with the other contemporaries and participate in the conferences and contests. Key words: natural science education, the method of observation, practical activities, motivation, knowledge and abilities.

Abstract (sommario):
Time-sampling techniques are popular among school practitioners and researchers alike when conducting observations of student behavior. Despite their popularity, the psychometric properties of such observation data have not received much attention, likely given that both procedures and targets vary widely across individual coding systems. A systematic literature review was therefore conducted to provide insight into how various procedural aspects may influence the psychometric properties of time-sampling data. Specifically, the influences of the number of target behaviors, time-sampling method, interval length, observation length, and number of observations on the psychometric properties of time-sampling data are explored. Both implications for practice and future research are discussed.

Abstract (sommario):
Treatment fidelity data are critical to evaluate intervention effectiveness, yet there are only general guidelines regarding treatment fidelity measurement. Initial investigations have found treatment fidelity data collected via direct observation to be more reliable than data collected via permanent product or self-report. However, the comparison of assessment methods is complicated by the intervention steps accounted for, observation timing, and intervention sessions accounted for, which may impact treatment fidelity estimates. In this study, we compared direct observation and permanent product data to evaluate these varied assessment and data collection decisions on treatment fidelity data estimates in three classrooms engaged in a group contingency intervention. Findings revealed that treatment fidelity estimates, in addition to being different across assessment method, are, in fact, different depending on the intervention steps assessed, intervention sessions accounted for, and observation timing. Implications for treatment fidelity assessment research, reporting in intervention research broadly, and implementation assessment in practice are described.

Abstract (sommario):
Introduction. Existing practice in the realization of projects in educational, as part of the practical training of software developers, are based in cooperation with using a specific programming language and the corresponding development environment (IDE), that binds the user to a specific workplace. However, high activity and mobility of stakeholders, who in the process of solving personal affairs and solving their own interests do not having enough time for individual training, which is a catalyst for processes reducing the quality of a product of an educational project. So, if young people spend much time on electronic devices such as mobile phones with permanent access to the Internet, the implementation of some components of the specified educational project should be organized with the possibility of mobile access to educational content. Due to the use of distance learning in education the opportunity to acquire professional competencies using, for example, virtual learning environments. These modules can function either as components of the learning process or as the basis for instruction. Most distance learning platform allows you to implement the processes of forming practical skills through the performance of test, practical or interactive tasks, etc. However, the platform for distance learning (besides additionally installed plugins) does not provide the ability to improve practical programming skills without the use of the IDE and the operating system, which causes the stakeholder to be attached to the workplace equipped with a personal computer. Due to the difficulty of the mentioned component of the educational project, there is a need for the development of a fundamentally new technology of mobile access to the practical component of educational content and the exploration of its effectiveness. So, analyzing a problem can install, that world practice has many proven technologies for expanding the functionality of distance learning platforms and activating stakeholders of educational projects in the process of acquiring practical programming skills. However, all of the above technologies do not allow mobile access to educational content, conditionally linking the stakeholder to a specific workplace with an IDE, or a plug-in in the form of an on-line (virtual) development environment. Aim. The aim of the study was to develop the fundamentally new technology for the formation quality product of the educational project preparative of software developers, which is to streamline the unstructured code of the program with the possibility of mobile access to educational content and study the effectiveness of the integration processes of the proposed technology in the definitions educational projects. Methods. The processing of experimental data was carried out using of the method of field observation and mathematical statistics. Results. The article outlines the problem of organizing mobile access to the practical component of educational content in educational projects for the training of programmer engineers. To solve the above problem, a conceptually new technology of forming the product quality of an educational project is proposed, which is to streamline the unstructured code of the program with the possibility of mobile access to educational content. The essence of technology is the integration of additional components into the educational environment, which consist in the use of the developed mobile application by stakeholders of the project. In the second part of the work, the study of the effectiveness of the declared technology of forming the quality of a product of an educational project was conducted through its introduction into the educational environment and monitoring of changes in the quality index. On the basis of observation results, using well-known methods of mathematical statistics, the forecast of the probable quality of the product of an educational project was carried out, provided the classical and innovative approach to the process of its formation. Conclusions. According to the results of the work we can draw the following conclusions: Through the development of a cross-platform application using the C # programming language, was created a conceptually new technology of formation quality of product of educational project for training engineer-programmers, which is to streamline the unstructured code of the program with the possibility of mobile access to educational content. 2. According to the results of field observations, Using the well-known methods of mathematical statistics, a study was made of the effectiveness of the innovative technology of forming the product quality of educational project of training engineer-programmers, which indicates the expediency of the development of scientific direction and the integration of the proposed technology into the educational environment of the Lviv State University of Life Safety.

Abstract (sommario):
Notwithstanding the prolonged debate on teaching methods, the concept of language teaching as such has remained less developed. It is not only gradually emancipating itself from the method debate through conceptual schemes, empirical studies and classroom observation, a more deliberate interpretation of second language teaching in terms of educational theory is needed. An educational interpretation of language teaching is clearly interdisciplinary; linguistics, sociolinguistics, cultural studies and educational theory. The model developed by two educational researchers Dunkin and Biddle (1974) for the study of classroom teaching distinguishes four main categories of variables; presage, context, process and product. In their seminal book The Study of Teaching, Dunkin and Biddle critically examine classroom teaching in terms of these essential factors/ relationships. Moreover this model identifies two principal actors; the language teacher and the language learner. The teacher like the learner brings to language teaching certain characteristics which have bearing on educational treatment; age, sex, previous education and personal qualities and social context. This paper would examine the educational dimension of second language teaching with an aim to equip a language teacher with effective tools of ELT.

Abstract (sommario):
This paper aims at investigating the method of applying educational technology to enhance TEFL in the Faculty of Sciences and Arts at Muhayle Aassir. The researcher uses close-ended questions interview and direct observation as instruments for collecting the data, and then he uses the descriptive method to analyse them. He chooses these two instruments as most appropriate for exchanging and evaluating ideas about using educational technology to enhance teaching EFL in the prescribed faculty. He, also, uses the observational method to study classroom events. The interview was held with 20 teachers of the English Department in order to get valuable information for the study. Furthermore, the researcher uses the SPSS programme to compute the data. The following are the study findings: Firstly; the usage of mere traditional devices in instruction has a poor efficiency on LEFL at the above-mentioned faculty. Secondly; there is effectiveness in using educational technology in teaching. Thirdly; it seems that the Faculty of Sciences and Arts provides training for the English language teachers with regard to educational technology, but in vain. The researcher recommends that English language teachers, of Faculty of Sciences and Arts, should facilitate and enhance learning via using educational technology- in their teaching- in order to keep students more interested and more engaged with the topic which is presented.

Abstract (sommario):
We organized the Leonids observing network that comprised of 276 observation teams consisting of about 3,000 senior high-school students in Japan on Nov. 17 1998. We counted the visible meteors with our naked eyes. It was a simple method, but the many data enabled us to discuss the structure of the dust trail. However, the base-line is so short that we could not discuss the structure in full detail. In 1999, we organized a worldwide network of senior high-school students. The network is comprised of 307 teams from 23 countries. The base-line of our new project is the size of the Earth. We succeeded in making 20 hours continuous observations with this network. One of the observational teams in Tanzania encountered the Leonid meteor storm. We report on the scientific results and the educational aspects of these projects. Abstract (sommario):
Abstract Background: Comprehensive palliative care for patients with heart failure can be developed by educating cardiac nurses. The current study aimed to design a heart failure palliative care educational program for nurses. Materials and Methods: This study was carried out using the multi-method approach based on two out of four steps of Uys educational program development at Dr. Chamran Hospital, Isfahan, in 2020–2021. In step 1, educational needs were collected through literature review, interviews with 15 patients and 10 nurses, examination of patients’ documents and medical records, and observation. Then, in step 2, the importance and necessity of teaching the proposed topics and the teaching and evaluation method of the items were assessed through two rounds of delphi technique (15 expert panel members). Eventually, the educational program was finalized. Results: In step 1, the educational needs of nurses were identified in 6 general fields and 26 general learning topics. In step 2, educational needs [specialized knowledge (55% necessity and 55% importance) and social support (33% necessity and 33% importance)], teaching methods (role-playing, experiential learning, and journal club), and evaluation method (the information analysis method) were removed due to a lack of consensus (11%). Finally, the main parts of the program, including the program mission and vision, general learning topics, general goals, objectives, teaching strategies, and evaluation strategies, were compiled. Conclusions: This program provides nurses with up-to-date information on various aspects of the physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational needs of heart failure patients and ensures the provision of better services to them.
