The Malays have long utilized natural resources to meet their daily basic needs. Natural resources serve as the basis not only in nutrition, medicine, and equipment but also the basis of inspiration in Malay art. It begins with careful observation and reasoning and then the natural resources are utilized wisely by the Malays. Since most of them live in villages, life is well integrated with the rural environment such as plants, and other various natural elements. With the concept of hometown, they make nature to fulfill their economic and social functions and, also to fill the gap between ethical and aesthetical values, for cultural development. This paper discusses the concept of mimesis or imitation by Malay artisans in the production of art and design motifs. The objective of this study was to document the concept of mimesis in the production of Malay art. There are many art and design motifs that are sourced from nature. It is based on the process of imitation is found in songket weaving motifs, weaving, batik, wood carving, telepuk and others. The research of this study is based on observation methods and interviews with individuals and cultural expert figures. It is hoped that every Malay art will continue to be appreciated and understood as a rich artistic heritage with its values and philosophy that support the community and the culture. The essence of such methodology or procedure is to highlight nature as the source of aspiration and inspiration of art treasures that will ensure the greatness of the Malay art universally.

Natural damage that occurred in almost all parts of the world in the last decade has become a hot issue and makes it a cause for concern. Environmental problems invite and ask various sides to give their best contributionsto effort in saving nature. Not simply for ecological scientists, but the Quran interpreters also contributed to rescue for nature. Since the 6th century, Islam has been present in giving attention to the environment. By means of the Quran, Islam has also given the task to humans who are caliphs on earth to be fair and not do damage to nature. This problem leads to the understanding of the Quran interpreters including M. Quraish Shihab. In tafsir al-Miṣbāḥ, he included the concept of environmentalism to clarify verses about the environment. His idea in providing solutions related to environmental problems is seen through efforts that can be made in the form of making legal regulations; establish cooperation between goverments, companies, communities and academics; maintaining natural recources; reforestation; and be friendly to the environment.

Puncak Dulamayo Nature Tourism, which is located in Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, is one of the favorite tourist attractions since it opened at the end of 2017. However, it was not well managed and organized, the location lacked several facilities such as inadequate parking space, lack of lodging, landscape furniture was still very lacking, there were no playground facilities for children and other facilities. This research aims to arrange of the Dulamayo peak natural tourism area were carried out by applying the principles of Tropical Architecture, by utilizing contoured land. This study used descriptive qualitative and quantitative research methods. Collecting data through literature review and direct observation in the field and interviews. The data was collected using literature review, interviews, and direct observation in the field. The results showed that the concept of managing and organizing the Puncak Dulamayo Nature Tourism destination with the principles of Tropical Architecture could be used as a reference in developing the Puncak Dulamayo Nature Tourism Area as one of the natural tourism destinations which could become a tourism attraction in Gorontalo Province.

Natural problems are often ignored by humans, because nature is considered to have no influence on what humans could have done. However, when a natural disaster occurs, not many realize that it is a consequence of what humans have done. Let say, the environmental problems that occur in Indonesia regarding deforestation, massive exploitation under the pretext of development. Nature are considered to be an inanimate object that is could be treated inhumanely. In fact, nature provides a lot of life, protection, even thank to nature, human life is maintained. This article is a qualitative research, with a literature study approach. The data comes from several journals and books as well as previous research related to the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The results of the study show that the concept of Tri Hita Karana offers a guide for humans in humanizing nature by balancing the concepts of Prajapati (God), Praja (humans), and Kamadhuk (nature). By understanding and applying the concept of Tri Hita Karana, it will build awareness to protect nature, because nature is part of human beings. [Persoalan alam sering kali diabaikan oleh manusia, karena alam dianggap tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap apa yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Namun, saat terjadi bencana alam, tidak banyak yang menyadari bahwa hal tersebut adalah konsekuensi dari apa yang diperbuat oleh manusia. Sebut saja persoalan lingkungan yang terjadi di Indonesia mengenai penebangan hutan, eksploitasi besar-besaran dengan dalih pengembangan. Alam seakan-akan menjadi objek mati yang diperlakukan tidak manusiawi. Padahal, alam memberi banyak kehidupan, perlindungan, bahkan dengan alam kehidupan manusia tetap terjaga. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Data berasal dari beberapa jurnal dan buku serta penelitian terdahulu yang berhubungan dengan konsep Tri Hita Karana. Hasil telaah menunjukan bahwa konsep Tri Hita Karana menawarkan satu panduan bagi manusia dalam memanusiakan alam dengan menyeimbangkan konsep Prajapati (Tuhan), Praja (manusia), dan Kamadhuk (alam). Dengan memahami dan menerapkan konsep Tri Hita Karana, maka akan terciptalah kesadaran untuk menjaga alam, karena alam adalah bagian dari diri manusia.]

Dalam berbagai tulisannya, John Hick menyatakan bahwa kekristenan harus memikirkan ulang mengenai pernyataan keilahian Yesus sebagai Allah Anak yang berinkarnasi. Dalam pandangannya, dwinatur dalam diri Yesus adalah hal yang tidak dapat dipahami dengan akal sehat karena kedua natur itu saling berkontradiksi. Sebagai jalan keluar, Hick menawarkan konsep mitologisasi yang menyatakan bahwa inkarnasi Yesus sebagai Allah Anak adalah sebuah mitos belaka. Untuk menjawab hal itu, dalam makalah ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan logika gabungan: relativity thesis (pernyataan relativitas), natural kind concept (konsep ciri alamiah), dan divine preconscious model (model bawah sadar ilahi). Dengan metode relativity thesis, penulis dapat menunjukkan kesalahan logika tuduhan inkoherensi dari Hick terhadap doktrin inkarnasi ortodoks. Sementara itu, pendekatan natural kind concept dapat membuktikan koherensi dari konsep dwinatur yang ada dalam diri Allah Anak sebagai inkarnasi Allah. Divine preconscious model dapat memberikan pijakan logis mengenai kemanunggalan Pribadi Yesus dengan dua natur yang ada di dalam diri-Nya, yang tidak saling berkontradiksi. Dengan gabungan ketiga pendekatan tersebut makalah ini menyajikan argumen yang kuat untuk membuktikan bahwa doktrin inkarnasi ortodoks bersifat koheren. Dengan demikian, kekristenan tidak perlu memberikan artikulasi ulang terhadap doktrin inkarnasi ortodoks dan juga tidak perlu memaknai doktrin tersebut sebagai sebuah mitos.
In his writings, John Hick states that Christianity must rethink the claim to the divinity of Jesus as God the Son Incarnate. In his view, the dual-nature in Jesus is something that cannot be understood with common sense because the two natures contradict each other. As a way out, Hick offers the concept of mythologization which states that Jesus' incarnation as God the Son is a myth. To answer that, in this paper, in addition to basing her argument on the biblical statement, the author uses a combined logic approach: relativity thesis, natural kind concept, and divine preconscious model. With the method of relativity thesis, the author can point out the logic errors of incoherent accusations from Hick to the doctrine of the orthodox incarnation. Meanwhile, the natural kind concept approach can prove the coherence of the dual-natures concept that exists in God the Son as an incarnation of God. The Divine preconscious model can provide a logical basis for the unity of the Person of Jesus with the two natures within Him, which do not contradict each other. With the combination of the three approaches, this paper presents a strong argument to prove that the doctrine of the orthodox incarnation is coherent. Thus, Christianity does not need to re-articulate the doctrine of the orthodox incarnation and also do not interpret the doctrine as a myth.

Benefit as the core of maqâshid al-syariah has an important role in the development of Islamic law. Because Islamic law was revealed with the aim of presenting the benefit of humans, both in this world and in the hereafter. One of the benefits that are protected is the protection of lineage. Nasab is human nature, because humans have the instinct to regenerate. On the other hand, humans have the nature of obedience to God. So that the two natures accumulate in lineage protection. Lineage protection is concerned with quantity on the one hand, and quality on the other. The exact point proportions of the two are seen from the bounded realm of reality. Lineage protection is not only about regeneration, but also includes all intermediaries (wasilah) that support it, both in terms of quantity and quality. The purpose of this study is to find out what things can damage the lineage, such as adultery, incest marriage, prostitution and so on.

This study aims to find out the concept of fitrah in the perspective of the Qur'an, what elements are contained in human nature, and how humans develop the nature contained within them through Islamic education. This study uses thematic interpretation, namely by collecting verses of the Koran related to human nature. Through this thematic method we can understand the views and conceptions of the Qur'an regarding fitrah, and its relation to the current development of Islamic education. Fitrah in the view of the Qur'an has several dimensions. The natural dimensions referred to in this case are the aspects contained in human nature which have many variations. This diversity is caused by different points of view. There are three human dimensions which are the essence of its creation or its totality, namely the physical, psychological and psychophysical dimensions or in Islam known as bodily fitrah (al-jism), spiritual fitrah (al-ruh) and nafsiyyah fitrah (al-nafs). Human nature can develop properly through the educational process.

Kajian dalam makalah ini menerapkan prinsip dan konsep teori moral alamiah pada struktur permukaan terhadap novel Sa.b.a! . Novel ini karya Haji Abdul Aziz Tuah, penerima SEA Write Award 2015 untuk negara Brunei Darussalam. Perbincangan dalam makalah ini mengungkapkan novel berdasarkan konsep dan prinsip teori moral alamiah. Novel ini didapati menepati keadaan, kejadian dan proses pembentukan alam ciptaan Tuhan. Kajian ini memperlihatkan bahawa novel hasil ciptaan pengarang itu berlaku dengan adanya restu Tuhan. Pengarang sama seperti unsur alam yang lain mampu membentuk sesuatu yang akhirnya menjadi sumber alam juga. Dalam hal ini karya sastera (novel) yang menggabungkan pengalaman dan ilmu pengetahuan menjadikan teks sebagai sumber alam ciptaan pengarang. Sementara itu naratif di dalamnya dapat disamakan dengan mimpi yang mengandungi peristiwa yang misteri bentuknya, namun ada pengalaman dan ilmu di dalamnya. Pembentukan teks novel ini seperti kejadian alam yang mempunyai kepelbagaian, keseimbangan dan keharmonian. Kewujudan atau penciptaannya tidak sia-sia tetapi mengandungi manfaat, sesuai dengan kejadiannya yang berfaedah dan indah sebagai iktibar kepada manusia. The discussion in this paper is to express this novel in conformity with the principles and concepts of nature moral theory, which is meet the situation, events and processes of nature the creation of God. This study shows that the novel of the author’s creation has occurred with God’s blessing. Author, like other nature elements are capable of forming something that eventually becomes a source of nature as well. In this case the literary work (novel) that combines experience and knowledge into text becomes the source of nature the author’s creation. Meanwhile narratives in novel can be likened as a dream that contains a mysterious event but there is experience and knowledge in it. The formation of this novel’s text is like natural occurrence of nature that has diversity, balance and harmony. Its existence or creation is not futile but it contains usefulness in accordance with nature occurrence, beneficial and beautiful, as a lesson to human beings. Bakgrund: De människor som personalen möter inom vården har på ett eller annat sätt drabbats av sjukdom eller skada, fysisk eller psykisk. Sjuksköterskans uppgift är att främja hälsa och lindra lidande. Det kan sjuksköterskan göra genom att använda humor som kan lätta upp patientens tillvaro i en svår livssituation. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa vad humor har för inverkan på patienten och om den kan vara till nytta i omvårdnadsarbetet. Metod: Resultatet i litteraturstudien baseras på sjutton stycken vetenskapliga artiklar som söktes i databaser som var relevanta utifrån syftet. Dessa artiklar kvalitetsgranskades och analyserades. Resultat: Resultatet visar på många positiva effekter både fysiologiskt och psykologiskt, såsom avslappning, smärtlindring, som copingstrategi för att hantera svårigheter och möjlighet att se livet i ett nytt perspektiv. Humor underlättar i omvårdnadsarbetet eftersom det är ett sätt att skapa närhet i relationen mellan patient och sjuksköterska, det underlättar också kommunikationen och ger patienten ett sätt att uttrycka svåra känslor. Humor kan vara till nytta i omvårdnadsarbetet men måste användas med försiktighet eftersom alla patienter är unika och uppfattar humor på olika sätt. Implikation: Aktuell vetenskaplig forskning på humorns fysiologiska effekter efterfrågas och att kunskap om humor och dess effekter bör bli en del i sjuksköterskans grundutbildning.

Increased temperatures, changed snow conditions, increasing demand for skiing and other winter sports lead to increased demand and production of artificial snow. Besides the positive aspects of artificial snow, it is important to understand potentially negative effects of artificial snow on the environment and vegetation. This study investigated the differences between artificial snow and natural snow in two adjacent ski slopes. This was done by measuring and comparing the snow depth, duration of the snow cover, snow density, and ground vegetation between the slopes. Snow depth and density showed differences between artificial snow and natural snow. The artificial snow cover stayed about 11 days longer than the natural snow. A few variations in the vegetation were also found; earlier flowering and more species and colors in the natural snow slope compared to in the slope using artificial snow. Therefore, it is clear that there is a difference between artificial snow and natural snow, and that this results in effects on the environment, but it is difficult to assess to what extent and how large the negative impact is. For more general conclusions, I think it is important to study the vegetation under artificial snow during a longer period and in several areas.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the Slovene artist Marjetica Potrc works with sustainability and empowerment in her “On-Site” projects. An analysis of various indicators of sustainability in the projects clarifies what the projects have in common. Balance in the relationships between people and nature stand out as a major theme in the projects. The artist works with tools such as “participatory design” where all participants are of equal importance, and “relational objects” with which the participants negotiate and transform the common space. The theory of “relational aesthetics” by Nicolas Bourriaud is applicable to the relational qualities of the projects, and the concept that all parts in the works functions as “forms” could be used here. Nature can be read as “form” together with the rest of the participants, on a “stage” of action in the projects. In all the projects one or more solutions are presented. By creating ideal prototypes of reality, where everyone, including nature, is empowered to participate on equal grounds, a solution is presented for a sustainable lifestyle.

Abstract The aim of this study is to create a pathway through Gustav Sandgren’s short-story collection Skymningssagor and the second collection with that title, based on his social criticism, notions of art and nature, use of fairytale motifs and finally, his view of the metaphoric liberation of mankind. The study is based on a comparative and thematic investigation, illustrated by examples from Sandgren’s short stories. The theoretical framework is based on Eva Nordlinder’s study of the art fairytale in Sekelskiftets svenska konstsaga och sagodiktaren Helena Nyblom (1992) and Konstsaga och Kultursyn (1992) as well as Torben Brostrøm’s study of the folktale in Folksagan och den moderna litteraturen (1992). The investigation shows that Sandgren’s social criticism permeates his short stories, but that his keys to salvation, nature and art (first and foremost music) exist to help mankind rise above our shackles. The investigation also shows that Sandgren’s short stories are firmly placed within the tradition of the fairytale and the romantic notion of a relation between nature and man. Den europeiska landskapskonventionen belyser att landskapet skapas genom påverkan av och i samspel mellan naturliga processer och mänsklig kultur. Konventionen har bidragit till en medvetenhet kring vikten av att uppmärksamma detta samspel och behovet av en integrerad natur- och kulturmiljövård. Kulturreservaten knyter genom sin intention att förmedla natur- och kulturhistoriska helheter an till landskapskonventionen. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning kulturreservatens informationstexter skildrar samspelet mellan naturelement och kulturelement i landskapet. Informationstexter i nio kulturreservat har analyserats genom en innehållsanalys där förekomsten av fristående naturelement och kulturelement samt samspel mellan naturelement och kulturelement har kvantifierats. Resultatet visar att skildringar av samspel förekommer i 60% av reservatens informationstexter. Detta indikerar att uppdelningen av skyddsvärda områden i natur- och kulturreservat möjligen är obefogad då landskapet inte låter sig indelas i natur och kultur.

Studien syftar till att få kunskap om elevers natursyn och relatera deras natursyn till lärande för hållbar utveckling. En kvalitativ undersökning genomfördes där eleverna genom bildskapande och i samtal fick uttrycka sin natursyn. Inledningsvis fick 38 elever i två klasser i årskurs 6 skapa individuella bilder där de illustrerade sin syn på naturen och sedan komplettera bilderna med skriftliga kommentarer. Därefter valdes tio elever ut för intervjusamtal, utifrån de bilder de ritat. I dessa samtal synliggjordes elevernas natursyn ytterligare. Natursynerna synliggjordes i elevernas sätt att relatera sig till naturen och i de miljö moraliska uttalanden och miljö etiska ställningstaganden som eleverna uttryckte. De natursyner som eleverna uppvisade var människan är en del av naturen, människan är delvis en del av naturen och människan är utanför naturen.

I denna uppsats genomför jag med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys en undersökning av hur ursprungsbefolkningar och ursprungsbefolkningars religioner framställs i fyra läromedel i religionskunskap för grundskolans senare skolår. Fokus i undersökningen ligger på om det i läroböckernas framställningar förekommer spår av ett vi- och dom-perspektiv och på vilka sätt eventuella sådana spår yttrar sig. Resultaten av undersökningen visar att det finns spår av ett vi- och dom-perspektiv i alla fyra läroböckerna i någon grad. Till viss del ställs ett tillsynes homogent ”vi” i relation till ett tillsynes homogent ”dom”. ”Vi” representerar ”europén” och den kristne ”västerlänningen”, ”dom” å andra sidan får representera ”de Andra”, det vill säga ursprungsbefolkningar och ursprungsbefolkningars religioner. Det visar sig i läroböckernas texter att den variation som finns ursprungsbefolkningar emellan inte får träda fram vilket lätt leder till generaliseringar, både på gott och på ont. De centrala drag i ursprungsbefolkningars religioner som författarna i de undersökta läroböckerna betonar och som får stå i kontrast till läroböckernas ”vi” är att ursprungsbefolkningar har ett speciellt förhållande till naturen, det finns en central kult kring andar och förfädersdyrkan samt en stark tro på magi och övernaturliga krafter.

The exploration of my topic grew out of curiosity of growing up and living so close to nature, arguing that being in nature have many positive health effects for both body and soul. Nature experiences also have an important social significance. The project evolved into exploring the value of the local elders knowledge and narratives connected to the local nature around Växjö - stories that are a subtle power of culture that shaped landscapes. What is unknown and what is unseen and how much do we really know about our local nature in Småland? Nature is not static, it is always changing and so is our society, and as a reminder of the natural world, this project is about generating a tangible meeting point between human and mind and portraying the individuals connection to nature inspired by local narratives, which in turn can inspire those who are unfamiliar with the region of Småland wilderness. The aim with my project investigate how to find new ways to interact with local nature through storytelling. The design is therefore a research method that empowers the elderlies generation stories about local nature.

Palembang sebagai kota yang memiliki sungai besar membuat lahan-lahan yang berada di pemukimannya tergenang dengan air. Hal tersebut memberi dampak positif maupun negatif terhadap permukiman yang telah dibangun masyarakat. Positifnya memberikan identitas bagi kota Palembang itu sendiri. Sedangkan egatifnya membuat pemukiman menjadi kumuh, tidak teratur dan menimbun arearesapan air. Lembaga Kemitraan Masyarakat yang bekerja sama dalam pengabdian ini adalah LKM 3-4 Ulu. LKM 3-4 Ulu adalah lembaga yang menaungi segala permasalahan lingkungan, sosial dan budaya di kelurahan 3-4 Ulu. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan konsep dalam menjaga dan memelihara lingkungan permukiman dan sungainya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dibagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu tahapan persiapan/pra lapangan, tahapan pekerjaan lapangan, tahapan analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini berupa konsep lingkungan permukiman 3-4 Ulu dengan empat konsep yang dapat digunakan sebagai arahan penataan, yaitu (1) hunian berpanggung, (2) jaringan jalan berpanggung, (3) permukiman natural, (4) penyesuaian pola respon permukiman tepi sungai. Konsep permukiman berpanggung untuk seluruh hunian di layer yang terpengaruh pasang surut Sungai Musi. Sedangkan untuk dataran tepi sungai yang tinggi dilakukan perluasan pemadatan vertikal tanpa menutup aliran sungai. Kata-kunci : konsep, lingkungan, Musi Palembang, permukiman, tepi sungai
