Abstract (sommario):

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mempresentasikan karakteristik Injil Matius dalam menggambarkan Yesus sebagai Mesias Penyembuh yang membedakan Yesus dari magician pada zamanNya. Penyembuhan yang dilakukan Yesus adalah untuk menggenapi nubuatan Perjanjian Lama tentang kedatangan Mesias. Penulis menggunakan metode tafsir kritik redaksi dalam menganalisa susunan Injil Matius serta dua perikop terkait mujizat penyembuhan. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, pertama-tama penulis memaparkan kesatuan antara pengajaran dan penyembuhan Yesus dalam Injil Matius dimana hal ini tidak ditemukan dalam praktek penyembuhan di dunia Yunani Romawi. Selanjutnya, penulis menganalisa penyembuhan perempuan yang pendarahan dua belas tahun dalam Matius 9:20-22 dan penyembuhan anak perempuan Kanaan dalam Matius 15:21-28. Dalam kedua narasi tersebut Matius meredaksi materi yang diperolehnya dari Markus dengan mengurangi unsur-unsur magisnya untuk menghadirkan Yesus sebagai Mesias.

 Tindakan Penguasa Agama (Matius 23:1-12). Matius 23 terkenal sebagai teks kontroversial, dimana pasal ini merupakan antitesis khotbah Yesus di bukit (pasal 5-7). Yesus mengakui otoritas ahli-ahli Taurat dan orang-orang Farisi, namun mereka menentang eksistensi-Nya sebagai Mesias. Keberadaan Yesus baik dari aspek popularitas pelayanan maupun pada masa depan membuat kecemasan bagi para pemuka agama di Yudea. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah prinsip hermeneutik dengan menggunakan historis kritis, struktur teks dan analisis sosial komunitas Matius. Dengan demikian Matius 23 menggambarkan perilaku pelayanan pemuka agama di Yudea sebagai dasar untuk memahami maksud kritik Yesus terhadap penguasa agama yang duduk di kursi Musa. Tanpa meniadakan otoritas pemuka agama itu, Yesus dalam injil Matius menekankan ajaran penatalayanan transformatif kepada orang banyak dan murid-murid-Nya (komunitas Matius) untuk lebih menerapkan solidaritas persaudaraan dan empati sosial sebagai keutamaan.

This study aims to straighten out the accusation that Matthew as the author of the Gospel of Matthew has misinterpreted Hosea 11:1 which is quoted by him in Matthew 2:15. There are scholars accusing Matthew of misinterpreting Hosea 11:1 when saying Matthew 2:15 is the fulfillment of what was prophesied by the prophet Hosea, because Hosea 11:1 is actually a historical reflection not prophecy. On the other hand, other scholars say that Matthew did not misinterpret Hosea 11:1, because this is the way the New Testament writers used the Old Testament. Where they can direct to Christ. In this study, the author uses the literature research method as a reference in describing the problems studied. The final result of this study, the author will show that Matthew did not misinterpret Hosea 11:1, because Matthew wrote this Gospel under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Exodus is indeed Messianic Eschatology, and Matthew uses the Correspondence Analogy method when interpreting Hosea 11:1 , so that Matthew 2:5 is a fulfillment of the prophecy of the prophet Hosea. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan meluruskan tuduhan bahwa Matius sebagai penulis Injil Matius telah salah menafsirkan Hosea 11:1 yang dikutip olehnya dalam Matius 2:15. Ada sarjana menuduh Matius telah salah menafsirkan Hosea 11:1 pada saat mengatakan Matius 2:15 merupakan penggenapan dari apa yang dinubuatkan oleh nabi Hosea, karena sebenarnya Hosea 11:1 merupakan sebuah refleksi sejarah bukan nubuatan. Sebaliknya sarjana lain mengatakan bahwa Matius tidak salah menafsirkan Hosea 11:1, karena ini merupakan cara penulis Perjanjian Baru dalam menggunakan Perjanjian Lama. Di mana mereka bisa langsung mengarahkan kepada Kristus. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis memakai metode penelitian literatur sebagai acuan dalam mendeskripsikan masalah yang dikaji. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini, penulis menunjukkan bahwa Matius tidak salah menafsirkan Hosea 11:1, dikarenakan Matius menulis Injil ini dibawah inspirasi dari Roh Kudus. Peristiwa Keluaran memang bersifat Eskatologi Mesianik, dan Matius memakai metode Analogi korespondensi pada saat menafsirkan Hosea 11:1, sehingga Matius 2:5 merupakan penggenapan dari nubuat nabi Hosea.Kata Kunci: Matius; Hosea; Penggenapan; Penafsiran; Yesus.

Penganiayaan merupakan sesuatu yang nyata dan benar-benar terjadi dalam kekristenan. Penganiayaan juga bukan hal yang asing bagi kehidupan iman Kristen. Gereja mula-mula juga merasakan sensasi. Namun pada saat ini, seringkali orang Kristen merasa kecewa dan ditinggalkan karena pengalaman yang dialaminya. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini hendak memaparkan tanggapan yang diterapkan dalam Alkitab dalam menghadapi situasi, secara khusus yang terdapat dalam Matius 10:17-33. Oleh karena itu bagaimanakah tanggapan orang dalam menghadapi penilaian berdasarkan Matius 10:17-33? Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seperti apakah respons yang benar sesuai dengan kebenaran-Nya yang telah dinyatakan dalam Matius 10:17-33. Dari hasil pengamatan dalam Matius 10:17-33, terdapat lima respons terhadap tantangan yang berani yaitu tetap waspada terhadap situasi, tentang menghadapi Yesus, tetap percaya dan tidak menghadapi tekanan, dan tidak takut akan tantangan. Respon terhadap topik berdasarkan Matius 10:17-33 memberikan, pembelajaran, dan kritik terhadap masa kini dalam menghadapi tantangan.

Pembacaan “klasik” terhadap Matius 25:14-30 selalu mengarah pada kesimpulan bahwa hamba ketiga adalah hamba yang tidak setia kepada tuannya dan pada apa yang dipercayakan tuannya kepadanya. “Talenta” selalu dianggap sebagai “karunia” yang diberikan oleh Tuhan yang harus selalu dikembangkan oleh manusia. Pembacaan tersebut juga “seolah” meniadakan keberatan yang justru muncul dalam teks, saat hamba ketiga memberi perlawanan kepada sang tuan. Namun benarkah perumpamaan ini menunjukkan bahwa hamba ketiga adalah hamba yang malas dan jahat, dan benarkah “hanya” berbicara mengenai karunia Allah? Melalui tulisan ini akan disampaikan pembacaan kritis-alternatif atas Matius 25:14-30. Dengan metode pendekatan naratif, setidaknya ada empat tawaran pembacaan terhadap perumpamaan ini, yaitu (1) Yesus sedang/adalah melakoni hamba ketiga; (2) hamba ketiga adalah hamba yang baik; (3) perumpamaan ini bukanlah tentang karunia; dan adanya kemungkinan bahwa (4) Injil Matius sedang “menyembunyikan” sesuatu; bahwa jawaban atas perumpamaan dalam Matius 25:14-30 justru ada pada Matius 25:31-46. Itulah sebabnya perumpamaan talenta harus dibaca bersama dengan kisah penghakiman terakhir.

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang pengajaran Kerajaan Surga menurut perspektif Injil Matius. Dalam Injil Matius, pegajaran tentang Kerajaan Surga sangat unik karena berkaitan dengan tema dari Injil tersebut yaitu Yesus adalah Mesias Raja. Berkaitan dengan tema ini menegaskan bahwa Yesus memerinta di Kerajaan Surga. Studi tentang perumpamaan dalam Injil Sinoptik merupakan proses yang rumit. Matius 21:33-44 telah menyatakan suatu perumpamaan yang berpotensi membiaskan pemahaman para pembacanya. Tidak adanya penjelasan penulis terhadap makna perumpamaan menjadikan para pembacanya memahami perumpamaan tersebut secara berbeda, tergantung pada sudut pandang pembaca. Perumpamaan tersebut juga telah menimbulkan perdebatan pada kalangan sarjana Perjanjian Baru. Bahkan para sarjana injili pun tidak menemukan kesepakatan terkait pemaknaan perumpamaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan suatu rumusan makna teologis yang komprehensif dari perumpamaan yang telah dicatatkan dalam Matius 21:33-44. Tulisan ini memaparkan tiga analisis yang relevan dalam memahami perumpamaan tentang penggarap kebun anggur. Analisis latar belakang sejarah, analisis materi dan analisis teologi merupakan pendekatan yang relevan dalam menjembatani pemahaman antara penerima ajaran perumpamaan mula-mula dengan orang kristen abad pertama. Perumpamaan tentang penggarap kebun anggur tidak dapat ditafsirkan secara alegoris melainkan dengan mempertimbangkan konteks pengkompilasian materi. Selain memberikan makna kristologis yang kuat, perumpamaan ini merupakan argumentasi apologetis Matius untuk mengoreksi kesalahan orang Yahudi menolak Yesus serta meyakinkan pembacanya bahwa Yesus adalah Mesias yang telah dijanjikan oleh Allah dalam Perjanjian Lama.The study of parables in the Synoptic Gospels is a complex process. Matthew 21:33-44 has stated a parable that has the potential to distort the understanding of its readers. The absence of the author's explanation of the meaning of the parable makes the readers understand the parable differently, depending on the reader's point of view. The parable has also generated debate among New Testament scholars. Even evangelical scholars have found no agreement on the meaning of the parable. The purpose of this study is to find a comprehensive theological meaning formulation of the parable that has been recorded in Matthew 21:33-44. This paper presents three analyzes that are relevant in understanding the parable of the vineyard cultivators. Historical background analysis, material analysis and theological analysis are relevant approaches in bridging understanding between the early recipients of parable teachings and the first century Christians. The parable of the cultivators of the vineyard cannot be interpreted allegorically but in light of the context in which the material is compiled. Apart from providing a strong Christological meaning, this parable is Matthew's apologetic argument to correct the mistake of the Jews in rejecting Jesus and to convince his readers that Jesus is the Messiah that God has promised in the Old Testament.

Pernikahan Kristen Menurut Matius 19:6 terhadap Implementasinya di Jemaat Dalam Matius 19:6, Yesus mengemukakan apa yang dimaksud dengan pernikahan, “Demikianlah mereka bukan lagi dua, melainkan satu. Karena itu, apa yang telah dipersatukan Allah, tidak boleh diceraikan manusia.” Ayat ini merupakan gambaran atau prinsip pokok pernikahan Kristen. Prinsip ini mempunyai arti makna yang dapat dijadikan pedoman bagi pernikahan Kristen yang harus diketahui oleh setiap pasangan suami isteri. Yang menjadi pertanyaan adalah Apakah makna pernikahan kristen menurut Matius 19:6 dipahami dengan baik dan dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik di jemaat? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pemahaman pernikahan secara umum dan pernikahan kristen menurut Matius 19:6 terhadap implementasinya di jemaat. Penulis dalam penelitian paper ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, serta menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis yang diambil dari sumber data-data yang relevan.

Tujuan artikel ini adalah agar setiap gembala mengetahui tentang prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan Yesus dalam Injil Matius yang dapat diterapkan dalam pelayanan penggembalaan masa kini. Seorang Gembala bertanggung jawab untuk menjalankan fungsinya sebagai gembala yang menggembalakan jemaat Tuhan. Itu sebabnya sebagai seorang gembala membutuhkan prinsip-prinsip yang baik untuk dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya dalam pelayanan penggembalaannya. Beberapa artikel sudah menuliskan tentang prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan, namun penekanan mengenai prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan Yesus di dalam Injil Matius kurang ditonjolkan. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka dengan fokus pada pemahaman teks Alkitab, artikel ini akan menjelaskan bahwa prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan Yesus dalam Injil Matius merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Itu sebabnya untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas, penelitian ini berfokus pada interpretasi teks atau makna teks yang berkaitan dengan prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan Yesus dan untuk selanjutnya dapat diaplikasikan bagi pelayanan penggembalaan masa kini. Untuk mencapai pembuktiannya, maka pada bagian pertama akan memaparkan pengertian tentang penggembalaan. Matius 23:8 merupakan teks yang rumit dan sarat dengan hal-hal kontroversial. Perbandingan prinsip pengajaran Yesus dan pengajaran para rabi Yahudi yang tersebar luas di balik teks-teks Matius harus jelaskan, sebab sangat bermanfaat untuk memaknai maksud teks. Mengabaikan tugas mengajar ahli Taurat dan orang Farisi dalam Matius 23:8 dapat menghasilkan distorsi penafsiran, bahkan salah menggali makna teks Alkitab. Esai ini memberikan perspektif baru atas pembacaan larangan Yesus “janganlah kamu disebut Rabi” dalam Matius 23:8 dengan menggunakan Hermeneutik pendekatan pedagogis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dan mengartikulasi mengapa Yesus melarang para murid dan orang banyak disebut Rabi dan bagaimana hal ini dibaca dengan lensa pedagogis. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama, terjadi diakognisi makna kata rabi dalam ajaran Yesus. Kedua, pengajar tidak bermuara pada tujuan untuk kedudukan dan penghormatan (prestise). Ketiga, Yesus sedang mengajarkan prinsip yang mengedepankan sikap persaudaraan yang saling melayani dengan pandangan bahwa Yesus satu-satunya Guru. Artinya, Dialah yang layak menerima kemulian dan hormat sampai selama-lamanya.

Abstract (sommario):

Cette étude vise à reconstituer les origines d'une tendance de la littérature latine que l'on qualifie souvent d'« expressionnisme » et à analyser les œuvres fragmentaires de deux poètes peu connus, Laevius et Cn. Matius, dont nous sont parvenus une cinquantaine d'extraits environ. Le poète Laevius est présenté par les sources comme l'auteur des Erotopaegnia, un recueil lyrique de poèmes d'amour en mètres divers. Le terme paegnia fait penser aux Παίγνια que Philétas de Cos avait composés au IIIe s. av. J.-C. Quant à Matius, il traduit en latin l'Iliade d'Homère et écrit des mimiambes, à l'instar du poète alexandrin Hérondas. Nos connaissances sur la poésie de la fin du IIe et du début du Ier siècle av. J.-C., qui a précédé l'avènement des néotériques, sont rudimentaires, notamment en raison de la perte presque totale des textes de cette époque. Ce qui nous reste se limite à de courts fragments isolés de leur contexte et conservés dans les œuvres des érudits, des lexicographes, des commentateurs et des grammairiens de l'époque impériale. La présente étude propose une nouvelle édition et une traduction française des fragments de Laevius et de Cn. Matius, accompagnées d'une analyse métrique et d'un commentaire linguistique et interprétatif de leurs recueils. Une attention particulière est portée au style et à la langue de ces extraits, dans le but de démontrer que la poésie de Laevius et de Matius reflète un moment transitoire et expérimental dans la littérature latine. Ces auteurs partagent un intérêt pour les formes expressives, telles que les archaïsmes, les néologismes, les hapax legomena et les composés originaux, faisant de la langue un outil au service de l'expressivité. Laevius et Matius tiennent une place originale dans l'histoire de la littérature latine : ils développent des thèmes célèbres mais les présentent selon des perspectives nouvelles, anti traditionnelles et antihéroïques, comme dans la poésie alexandrine ; ils introduisent des éléments lyriques et sentimentaux et annoncent les poètes néotériques comme Catulle, sans pour autant s'identifier à ceux-ci. La dernière partie de cette étude explore les modalités de transmission et de circulation des fragments de Laevius et de Matius, en analysant les contextes dans lesquels leurs vers ont été cités. Cette enquête constitue un facteur fondamental dans la reconstitution des œuvres de ces poètes, car elle contribue tant à la solution de problèmes éditoriaux délicats qu'à la restitution de l'histoire et de la postérité de ces textes à l'époque impériale This study aims to reconstruct the origins of a trend in Latin literature usually called “expressionism”, engaging in the analysis of the works of Laevius and Matius, two minor poets of the late Republic, whose works have survived only in fragmentary form. The ancient sources identify Laevius as the author of the Erotopaegnia, a collection of lyric love poems composed in various metres. The term paegnia, featuring in the title, most probably evokes the Παίγνια of Philitas of Cos, a collection of short light poems dating back to the early 3rd century BCE. Matius, on the other hand, is considered among the first Latin poets to translate the Iliad in hexameters, whereas he has also composed mimiambs in the manner of the Alexandrian poet Herodas. More generally, our knowledge of Latin poetry from the late second and the early first centuries BCE remains limited, primarily due to the almost entire loss of the poetic texts written in this period. Indeed, the only literary evidence comes from small poetic fragments preserved by imperial scholars, mainly by critics, lexicographers, commentators and grammarians. This study proposes a new edition and a French translation of the surviving fragments of Laevius and Cn. Matius, along with a metrical, linguistic, and interpretative commentary. Special attention is given to the stylistic features of their poetry, to demonstrate that their verses reflect a moment of transition and deliberate experimentalism in Latin literature. Both Laevius and Matius exhibit a common interest in peculiar linguistic forms, such as archaisms, neologisms, hapax legomena and original compounds, which they combine in the most expressive and surprising way. While they draw inspiration from well-known mythological themes, they reinterpret these narratives from a different perspective, focusing, as the Alexandrian poets before them, on the un-heroic and unconventional aspects of these stories. Moreover, Laevius and Matius are among the first Latin poets who explored lyric and emotional themes. Although they foreshadow the poetry of Catullus and the other neoterics, they don't entirely identify with them.The final chapter of the present thesis sheds light on the different ways of transmission of Laevius' and Matius' fragments, exploring the grammatical, lexicographical and antiquarian contexts in which their verses were cited. This investigation is particularly interesting because it contributes to the solution of various editorial problems and helps us understand how poetic collections circulated in late Antiquity

La zéolithe MCM-22 possède une structure très particulière avec trois systèmes poreux indépendants:des canaux sinusoïdaux étroits (4. 1×5. 1 Å), des supercages (ø 7. 1 Å, hauteur 18. 2 Å) accessibles par des ouvertures de (4. 0×5. 5 Å) et des coupes externes (ø 7. 1 Å, profondeur 7. 0 Å). Cette thèse avait pour objectif l’étude des propriétés catalytiques de la zéolithe HMCM-22 (Si/Al=14. 5) et de déterminer le rôle de chaque système poreux dans les réactions de transformation du méthylcyclohexane et du n-heptane à 350ºC. La participation catalytique de chaque système poreux a été déterminée en désactivant sélectivement les sites acides des supercages et en empoisonnant ceux des coupes externes. Les deux réactions se déroulent principalement dans les supercages. Les canaux sinusoïdaux présentent une faible activité due à d’importantes contraintes stériques. Les résultats ont révélé par ailleurs que les sites acides des coupes externes ne sont pas capables de catalyser la réaction du n-heptane, ce qui peut être attribué à une force acide plus faible et/ou à l’absence de l’effet de confinement dans les coupes externes. L’adsorption des différentes molécules a permit de déterminer le volume microporeux de chaque système. La zéolithe HMCM-22 présente un comportement intermédiaire entre la zéolithe USHY (pores larges) et la zéolithe HZSM-5 (pores intermédiaires) dans les deux réactions, cependant elle présente des activités par site acide plus proches de HZSM-5. La désalumination de la zéolite HMCM-22 par lavage acide élimine principalement les sites acides des coupes externes et des supercages alors que les sites acides des canaux sinusoïdaux ne sont pratiquement pas affectés MCM-22 has a very peculiar pore structure with three independent pore systems: narrow sinusoidal channels (4. 1×5. 1 Å), large supercages (ø 7. 1 Å, height 18. 2 Å) accessible through (4. 0×5. 5 Å) openings and external cups (ø 7. 1 Å, depth 7. 0 Å). The aim of this thesis was to study the global catalytic properties and ascertain the catalytic role of each pore system of HMCM-22 zeolite (Si/Al=14. 5) on methylcyclohexane and n-heptane transformations at 350ºC. To this end, the participation of each pore system was established by selectively deactivating the supercages through coke deposition and poisoning the external cups acid sites. Supercages play the major catalytic role on both reactions. Sinusoidal channels present a very low activity due to high steric constraints. External cups acid sites are more active than those of supercages in methylcyclohexane transformation due to the absence of diffusion limitations. The results revealed that the external cups acid sites are not able to catalyze n-heptane reaction, which is ascribed to a lower acid strength and/or to the absence of confinement effect in the external cups. Adsorption of different molecules allowed the determination of the micropore volume of each pore system. An intermediate behavior of HMCM-22 between USHY (large pores) and HZSM-5 (intermediate pores) zeolites was observed on both reactions. The activities per acid site of HMCM-22 zeolite were closer to those of HZSM-5. Dealumination by acid leaching of the HMCM-22 zeolite removed mainly the acid sites located on the supercages and external cups, whereas those of the sinusoidal channels were almost not affected

PONTIFÍCIA UNIVERSIDADE CATÓLICA DO RIO DE JANEIRO COORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DO PESSOAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR CONSELHO NACIONAL DE DESENVOLVIMENTO CIENTÍFICO E TECNOLÓGICO Esta tese propõe-se examinar o livro de Matias Aires intitulado Reflexões sobre a vaidade dos homens, publicado pela primeira vez em 1752. Nesse texto, Matias Aires oferece ao leitor uma visão filosófica do mundo e da História das mais negativas do século XVIII. Ele constrói seu pensamento a partir dos conceitos de vaidade, amor, natureza, sociedade, tempo e movimento, o letrado apresentando que os homens agem movidos pelas paixões, sendo a vaidade a origem de todas elas. Dado caráter lacunar do conhecimento humano, a narrativa da História resulta em uma coleção de eventos sucessivos que não servem ao ensinamento. Sua existência, porém, não é sem sentido ou sem valor, uma vez que ela fornece legitimidade à diferenciação social da nobreza hereditária. A partir da observação dos argumentos desenvolvidos por Matias Aires, investigaram-se as concepções de mundo presentes no pensamento do autor que lhe permitiram construir essa visão específica tanto da História quanto da escrita da História. O estudo das categorias filosóficas de Matias Aires ancora-se no pressuposto de que os conceitos de homem, sociedade e mundo mobilizados pelo autor devem ser compreendidos tendo em vista sua primeira legibilidade e na intenção de repor o significado dessas categorias segundo as funções retóricas em vigência naquele presente histórico. This thesis proposes to examine the book of Matias Aires entitled Reflexões sobre a Vaidade dos Homens (Reflections on Vanity), first published in 1752. In that text, Matias Aires offers one of the most negative philosophical insights about the world and the History produced in the eighteenth century. When building his thinking from the concepts of vanity, love, nature, society, time and movement, the scholar shows that men act moved by passions, being vanity the origin of them all. Given the incomplete nature of human knowledge, the narrative of History leads to a collection of successive events that do not serve as teachings. Its existence, however, is not meaningless or without value, since it provides legitimacy to the social differentiation of hereditary nobleness. Based on the observation of this argumentative network developed by Matias Aires, we investigated the world conceptions presented in the author s thought that allowed him to build this particular view of History, as much as of the writing of history. The study of the philosophical categories of Matias Aires is founded on the assumption that the concepts of man, society and the world mobilized by the author must be understood in view of its readability and the first in an attempt to restore the meaning of these categories according to the rhetorical functions in that present.

Així, s’han obtingut materials amb propietats molt diferents tant pel que fa al seu magnetisme (materials durs o tous), a les seves propietats òptiques (transparents, opacs, anisotròpics) o la seva densitat, i se n’han estudiat algunes de les seves possibles aplicacions magnetoòptiques. Les matrius de sílice en forma de xerogel també s’han fet servir per a estabilitzar, gràcies al confinament, l’ε-Fe2O3, un polimorf metastable d’óxid de Fe (III) molt poc conegut. S’ha fet una caracterització de les propietats magnètiques del material i s’ha vist que la seva temperatura de Curie és de 510 K i que a temperatura ambient és un ferrimagnet colineal amb una imantació moderada (20 emu/g a saturació) i una anisotropia magnètica elevada que fan que la seva coercitivitat sigui molt elevada per a un òxid de Fe (20 kOe). Entre 150 i 80 K l’ε-Fe2O3 presenta una transició de fase magnètica i estructural de segon ordre que té com a resultat l’aparició d’una estructura magnètica incommensurada de tipus "ona quadrada". S’ha posat de manifest que coincidint amb aquesta transició de fase, el material presenta un acoblament magnetoelèctric. In this Thesis, different approximations to the synthesis of composites of magnetic nanoparticles in silica aerogel or xerogel matrices have been studied. In particular, we have obtained materials with a range of different properties regarding its magnetism (hard or soft magnetic materials), optical properties (transparent, opaque, anisotropic) or density and we have studied its potential magneto-optical applications. The xerogel matrices have also been used to stabilize by confinement a rare iron (III) oxide polymorph, the ε-Fe2O3, which has not been much studied so far. The magnetic properties of the polymorph have been studied in detail and it has been established that it has a Curie temperature of 510 K. At room temperature, it presents a collinear ferromagnetic order with a moderate magnetization (20 emu/g at saturation) and a large magnetic anisotropy which result in a huge coercivity of about 20 kOe. Between 150 and 80 K, ε-Fe2O3 presents a second order magnetic and structural transition to a “square-wave” incommensurate magnetic order. Concomitantly with this transition it has been shown that the material presents a magnetoelectric coupling. En este trabajo se han estudiado diferentes aproximaciones a la síntesis de composites de nanopartículas magnéticas en matrices de sílice de tipo aerogel o xerogel. Así, se han obtenido materiales con propiedades muy distintas tanto en relación a su magnetismo (materiales duros o blandos), a les sus propiedades ópticas (transparentes, opacos, anisotrópicos) o a su densidad, y se han estudiado algunas de sus posibles aplicaciones magnetoópticas. Las matrices de sílice en forma de xerogel también se han utilizado para estabilizar, gracias al confinamiento, el ε-Fe2O3, un polimorfo metaestable de óxido de Fe (III) muy poco conocido. Se ha hecho una caracterización de sus propiedades magnéticas y se ha establecido que su temperatura de Curie es de 510 K y que a temperatura ambiente es un ferrimagneto co-lineal con una imantación moderada (20 emu/g a saturación) y una anisotropía magnética elevada que hacen que su coercitividad sea muy elevada para un óxido de Fe (20 kOe). Entre 150 i 80 K el ε-Fe2O3 presenta una transición de fase magnética y estructural de segundo orden que da lugar a una estructura magnética inconmensurable de tipo "onda cuadrada". Se ha puesto de manifiesto que coincidiendo con esta transición de fase, el material presenta un acoplamiento magnetoeléctrico.

No. of bitstreams: 1 tese_10778_Sofia Maria Valente Simões dos Santos20170815-104122.pdf: 8520695 bytes, checksum: 6ebab40fd270ed02aa4bcfd2398228de (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-03-10 A pesquisa de mestrado - São Mateus: do Lugar à Vila - é do âmbito da História do Urbanismo Colonial no Brasil, trata do povoamento do rio Cricaré/ São Mateus sob a hipótese de que seja de longa duração, caracterizado por alguns (des)povoamentos, e provavelmente resultante da necessidade de aproximação de núcleos de um complexo urbano mais vasto, como Bahia, Espírito Santo, ou mesmo Rio de Janeiro. O rio Cricaré faz parte da historiografia colonial brasileira desde o primeiro século, tendo sido divulgado em Lisboa como um meio de se chegar às minas, através do Tratado da Terra do Brasil, de Pêro de Magalhães Gândavo, ca 1568; mais tarde em Madrid, em 1587, no Tratado descritivo do Brasil, de Gabriel Soares de Sousa e no início do século XVII no Livro que dá Rezão do Estado do Brasil com ilustrações de Teixeira Albernaz I. Tem por objetivo identificar momentos de povoamento da região de São Mateus, entre o século XVI e XIX, para que concretamente possa chegar a um entendimento de evolução urbana de S. Mateus. A metodologia utilizada é própria, de pesquisa e recolha documental arquivista, e parte do pressuposto teórico-metodológico proposto por Reis Filho, na obra Contribuição ao estudo da Evolução Urbana do Brasil- 1500/1720, com base na sociologia e geografia. É essencial o contributo dos estudos de Beatriz Siqueira Bueno, quanto ao conceito de território e suas vinculações com a cartografia, assim como, de Pedro Almeida Vasconcelos, quanto à geografia urbana histórica e a cartografia. Os registros iconográficos, quando existentes, podem comprovar a materialização das estratégias ou ações dos agentes envolvidos, mas será a confrontação dos vários tipos de documentos de fonte primária que permitirá avaliar a continuidade, e/ou eficácia de princípios determinantes e reguladores do território. A partir da análise destes dados, obtêm-se os resultados que permitem construir mapas conjecturais, representativos de momentos específicos de consolidação e evolução urbana da Vila de S. Mateus. Assim, a pesquisa apresenta-se organizada em três capítulos. No primeiro capítulo, faz-se a análise do reconhecimento geográfico-histórico, através da iconografia cartográfica, identificam-se as continuidades e/ou mudanças na apropriação do espaço, materializadas no território. No segundo capítulo, dedicado ao povoamento, identificam-se momentos de povoamento do território. No terceiro capítulo, com os resultados obtidos da análise da pesquisa documental, apresentados nos dois capítulos precedentes, elaboram-se três mapas conjecturais, que compreendem o intervalo de quase 100 anos de São Mateus como Vila, visando o entendimento da sua evolução urbana. Conclusivamente este estudo dá a conhecer momentos de povoamento da região de São Mateus, entre o século XVI e XIX, e concretamente, o entendimento da evolução urbana da povoação de S. The research problem. Understanding of insect reproduction has been critical to the design of insect pest control strategies including disruptions of mate-finding, courtship and sperm transfer by male insects. It is well known that males transfer proteins to females during mating that profoundly affect female reproductive physiology, but little is known about the molecular basis of female mating response and no attempts have yet been made to interfere with female post-mating responses that directly bear on the efficacy of fertilization. The female reproductive tract provides a crucial environment for the events of fertilization yet thus far those events and the role of the female tract in influencing them are poorly understood. For this project, we have chosen to focus on the lower reproductive tract because it is the site of two processes critical to reproduction: sperm management (storage, maintenance, and release from storage) and fertilization. E,fforts during this project period centered on the elucidation of mating responses in the female lower reproductive tract The central goals of this project were: 1. To identify mating-responsive genes in the female lower reproductive tract using DNA microarray technology. 2. In parallel, to identify mating-responsive genes in these tissues using proteomic assays (2D gels and LC-MS/MS techniques). 3. To integrate proteomic and genomic analyses of reproductive tract gene expression to identify significant genes for functional analysis. Our main achievements were: 1. Identification of mating-responsive genes in the female lower reproductive tract. We identified 539 mating-responsive genes using genomic and proteomic approaches. This analysis revealed a shift from gene silencing to gene activation soon after mating and a peak in differential gene expression at 6 hours post-mating. In addition, comparison of the two datasets revealed an expression pattern consistent with the model that important reproductive proteins are pre-programmed for synthesis prior to mating. This work was published in Mack et al. (2006). Validation experiments using real-time PCR techniques suggest that microarray assays provide a conservativestimate of the true transcriptional activity in reproductive tissues. 2.lntegration of proteomics and genomics data sets. We compared the expression profiles from DNA microarray data with the proteins identified in our proteomic experiments. Although comparing the two data sets poses analyical challenges, it provides a more complete view of gene expression as well as insights into how specific genes may be regulated. This work was published in Mack et al. (2006). 3. Development of primary reproductive tract cell cultures. We developed primary cell cultures of dispersed reproductive tract cell types and determined conditions for organ culture of the entire reproductive tract. This work will allow us to rapidly screen mating-responsive genes for a variety of reproductive-tract specifi c functions. Scientific and agricultural significance. Together, these studies have defined the genetic response to mating in a part of the female reproductive tract that is critical for successful fertllization and have identified alarge set of mating-responsive genes. This work is the first to combine both genomic and proteomic approaches in determining female mating response in these tissues and has provided important insights into insect reproductive behavior.
