Madana Tiles is the first cement tile company in Surabaya city. Due to being produced entirely by hand, the Tile of Madana Tiles is assured of its authenticity and uniqueness. With a periodically supervised production process, it allows us to control the entire process with the best results and competitive pricing.Cement tiles have been used and produced in Indonesia for tens or even hundreds of years, and have become part of Indonesian culture, therefore, the vision of madana tile is to preserve the culture by introducing its products and providing opportunities to the community by opening employment. Of course we also want to work with architects, interior designers, and customers as much as possible so as to enable the creation of innovations in design. Customers can also design their own tile design. Madana Tiles already has a web, but the web is not yet complete including catalogs. The incomplete Web can make consumers unable to guess what kind of tiles Madana Tiles produces. We from team 21 have some ideas that can help marketing tiles Madana Tiles is by using the catalog as a means of promotion. We will make the catalog in the form of e-catalog (2D) and real catalog (3D). Why do we recommend Madana Tiles to create an e-catalog, because on the web Madana Tiles belom has a complete catalog so that consumers who see the web can not choose the tile design variations. As for the 3D catalog, consumers can see directly the variations, designs and colors of the finished tiles. Our team chose the Southeast Asia sector because there are several opportunities. Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand. Among its centralized locations, the country wants to expand its trade and investment activities, has abundant natural resources and has advanced technology and economics.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pertanggungjawaban perdata PT.Tambang Madina Madani Mining terhadap kerusakan lingkungan, hambatan dalam proses pelaksanaan pertanggungjawaban perdata PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining terhadap kerusakan lingkungan dan menganalisi upaya penyelesaian hambatan dalam pelaksanaan tanggung jawab perdata PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining terhadap kerusakan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualiatif dengan pendekatan yurisidis empiris. Menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata tertulis maupun lisan orang-orang atau perilaku yang diamati, menguraikan sekaligus menganalisis pelaksanaan tanggung jawab perdata perusahaan terhadap kerusakan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining tidak melaksanakan tanggung jawab perdatanya secara maksimal, menurut Undang-Undang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan lingkungan Hidup PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining bertanggungjawab mutlak terhadap kerusakan lingkungan lingkungan yang disebabkannya. Hambatan dalam proses pelaksanaan tanggung jawab PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining terhadap kerusakan lingkungan yaitu hambatan internal lemahnya penegakan hukum di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal Provinsi Sumatra Utara, dan kurangnya kepedulian terhadap kerusakan lingkungan. Hambatan eksternal kurangnya pengetahuan tentang tanggung jawab hukum, kurangnya koordinasi antara pihak terkait. Upaya penyelesaian hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pertanggungjawaban perdata PT. Tambang Madina Madani Mining terhadap kerusakan lingkungan meliputi upaya penyelesaian hambatan internal dengan melakukan negosiasi dan mediasi dengan masyarakat, menerapkan tanggung jawab sosial dan lingkungan. Penyelesaian hambatan eksternal yaitu melakukan koordinasi dengan semua pihak terakait, dan melakukan pengawasan pertambang tanpa izin secara rutin.

Abstract Climate significantly impacts dryland trees, influencing their adaptation, survival, production, and role in the ecosystem. Acacia senegal is a valuable dryland tree planted for gum arabic production and ecological benefits. However, gum arabic production has declined due to the adverse effects of climate and improper management. Thus, silvicultural intervention such as pruning is essential for the health, growth, and gum yield of A. senegal. This study investigates the effects of different pruning intensities and pickings on gum arabic yield at Madana and Garin-ladan in the Gumel district of northern Jigawa State, Nigeria. The experiment involved five levels of pruning intensity and eight pickings, conducted using a randomized complete block design with three replicates. The gum yield was collected, dried, and weighed, and ANOVA was performed using Statistix 10.0 software, with Shapiro-Wilk and Turkey tests for data normality and mean comparison. The result showed significant differences (p < 0.05) in gum yield among the pruning intensities for most of the pickings at the two sites. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 3rd, 5th, 8th pickings are significantly different except 4th, 7th, 8th; and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th at Madana and Garin-ladan respectively. The highest gum yield is 52.5a, 46.7a, 50.1a, and 43.5a g/picking, respectively. The lowest is 0.8a and 0.9a g/picking, respectively. Pruning intensity significantly differs (p< 0.05) in total gum yield per tree. Pruning intensities B3 and B4 demonstrated the highest total gum yield (251.8a and 147.6a g/tree) at both sites, respectively. At the same time, B0 exhibited the lowest gum arabic yield (97.2c and 38.5b g/tree) at both locations. These findings prove that pruning intensities B3 and B4 are the most effective in promoting gum yield and may enhance the gum productivity of A. senegal trees in northern Jigawa State.

Kegiatan Penyuluhan dilakukan di Desa Medane Kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi kepada para ibu-ibu yang tergabung dalam industri rumahtangga untuk membuat catatan keuangan. Diharapkan setelah para ibu-ibu mengikuti penyuluhan ini, mereka bisa menghitung penerimaan dan pengeluaran dari usaha yang dilakukan. Pada akhirnya timbul kesadaran dari para ibu-ibu yang tergabung pada industri rumahtangga dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan. Bentuk dari kegiatannya adalah Ceramah yang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi ( Tanya jawab ) interaktif untuk mempertajam pokok permasalahan yang disampikan yang dipandu oleh anggota tim pengabdian. Dari hasil diskusi dapat diketahui bahwa ibu ibu yang tergabung dalam kelopmpok industri rumahtangga di Desa Medana sangat bersemangat dan mendukung kegiatan penyuluhan dan bimbingan dengan pokok bahasan sebagaimana yang disampaikan oleh Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Mereka pada umumnya baru memulai lagi usahanya, setelah Tahun 2018 peralatan yang dipakai untuk usaha sudah hancur dan rusak akibat bencana Gempa Bumi. Usaha mereka antara lain, Sate ikan, catering, kerupuk, minyak goreng, VCO, Kue tradisonal, kerajinan tangan (anyaman Inke) dll. Untuk itu penyuluhan dan bimbingan seperti ini perlu terus ditingktkan dan dikembangkan kearah yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif pada usaha lainnya secara intensif dan kontinyu, sehingga masyarakat dapat meningktakan keterampilan dan pengetahuannya, dimana hal ini akan berdampak pada terjadinya perkembangan usaha ibu ibu kelompok industri rumahtangga dan terjadi peningkatan pendapatan.

A poisonous plant is one that, when touched or consumed in large enough quantities, can be hazardous or lethal to humans or other animals. These plants can be utilized as herbal medicines with therapeutic effects when used in the right proportions and in small doses. One of the herbs listed in all of the old Ayurvedic texts is Calotropis procera. In Ayurveda, it is referred to as Arka. In many traditional medical systems, the various portions of the plant are used to cure a wide range of illnesses, including worm infestation, strangury, and ulcers. Ascites, anasarca, intestinal worms, skin diseases, and cough have all been treated with the root bark. The root-powered can treat cancer, scrotal enlargement, piles, boils, dyspepsia, gastroenteritis, dysentery, and dyspepsia. Science-based pharmacological screens have been used by researchers to confirm the effectiveness of the compound. According to pharmacological studies, Calotropis procera Linn. exhibits a wide range of biological activities, including those that are hepatoprotective, cytotoxic, anti-diabetic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, antioxidant, anthelmintic, wound healing, and anti-tumor. Details regarding the plant are documented in Ayurvedic botanical literature such as Dhanwantari Nighantu, Madana Pala Nighantu, and Bhavaprakash and therapeutical literature in Charak Samhita, Sushrut Samhita. This review presents pharmacognostic, pharmacological, and traditional uses of Calotropis procera.

Abstract Background: One of the main ingredients to put human societies glued together is celebrating the festivals. Festivals are the markers of scientific achievements and historic milestones. Moreover, celebrating festival ensures the continuation of tradition. The number of festivals celebrating Ayurveda are, however, very few. Festivals bring pomp and glory in lives and are a way of expressing gratitude to the legends for bringing out the deepest meanings of the cosmos. Aim: To revive the lost tradition of Ayurvedic festivals, the study was undertaken. Material and methods: Ayurvedic scriptures and Puranas were carefully reviewed to find festivals associated with Ayurveda. The paper reviews the specific dates and the method of celebration of few festivals associated with Ayurveda such as Dhanvantari Jayanti, Brahma Puja, Shakrotsava, Kaumudi Mahotsava, Madana Trayodashi, Charaka Jayanti, Kubera Mahotsava, Varuna Mahotsava, and Yamadamshtra. Dhanvantari Jayanti as National Ayurveda Day has already gained popularity. Result: Festivals foster national cohesiveness, promote communal harmony, preserve family values, revitalize the economy, and foster cultural and, in this scenario, even medical tourism. However, globalizing these festivals is challenging due to difference in calendars. Conclusion: Celebrating festivals have deep Yogic meaning. It helps to maintain national identity. The yearly seasonal cycles affect the physical and mental health of humans. Hence, there is a need to revive the traditional Ayurvedic festivals.

<p class="Default">The research aims to find out the strategy which is conducted by BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera for improving sharia financial literacy on the society, to analyse implementation of SEOJK Number 1/SEOJK.07/2014 regarding the education and improving financial literacy to the society, and to know the level of literacy on the society who had received the educational literacy program from BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera. The research uses qualitative and quantitative method (mixed-method). Using of questionnaires distributed to 51 respondents. The results show that the strategy which is used BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera for improving sharia financial literacy on the community is managed with through several programs such as educate and introduce product to the public using the social media, and to educate people who come to the office directly. The implementation of educational program which is conducted by BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera enormously accord with the regulation SEOJK Number 1/SE.OJK.07/2014 with inclusive, systematic, measurable, accessibility, and collaboration principles. The leveling of Islamic financial literacy for the people who had obtained an educational program of literacy by BPRS Madani Mandiri Sejahtera has counted to 82.42 percent, it is the high category level.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Islamic financial literacy, BPRS, Society.</p>

Abstract (sommario):
The research emphasized the political philosophy of Nurcholish Madjid, a contemporary Islamic scholar, who had a strong influence among the young scholars in Indonesia. The study aims to describe the philosophy of Islamic politics by Nurcholish Madjid particularly the concept of secularization and civil society. By using qualitative data, particularly the library research method through books and academic journal, the study resulted the idea of civil society had a root from Islamic citizen which was built by Prophet Muhammad SAW in Madina, 570 C. The civil society was translated into the term “Masyarakat Madani” which including some aspects: egality, respect to others, actively participating in the society, rely on law and justice, tolerance and pluralism, and deliberation. In order to explain his secularization philosophy, Nurcholish gave a justification from Islamic teaching through confession of faith (syahada), which told that people were free from various beliefs, then strengthen their belief to the real God.

Asbāb al Nuzul telah banyak digunakan para mufasir untuk memahami ayat al-Qur’an. Maka perlulah seorang mufasir mampu menganalisis kesohehan Asbāb nuzul di dalam Al-Qur’an. Penelitian dengan metode diskriptif-analisis ini menghasilkan pengertian Asbāb nuzul adalah pemberitahuan atau berita tentang turunnya suatu ayat baik berkenaan dengan suatu kejadiaan atau pertanyaan, yakni ketika suatu peristiwa terjadi dan al-Qur’an diturunkan tentangnya. Kedua, ketika Rasulullah SAW. ditanya tentang sesuatu dan diturunkan al-Qur’an yang menjelaskan hukumnya. Untuk mengetahui Asbāb nuzulnya ayat, maka perlu memperhatikan yang pertama, wahyu didasarkan pada kesahihan riwayat Rasulullah SAW. atau pada sahabat. Kedua Apabila riwayat diambil sebelum dimusnadkan pada sahabat, jika dari tabi’in, maka dinilai marfu’ tetapi mursal, dan dapat diterima pula jika benar sanadnya. Ketiga, Para mufasir banyak yang menyebutkan Asbāb diturunkannya ayat dengan perbedaan jalan sandaran, yakni dengan melihat ungkapannya. Perbedaan jumlah ayat dalam al-Qur’an terdapat tujuh pendapat yang terkenal yang disebutkan dalam kitab al-Bayᾱn fῑ ‘adῑ al-Qur’ᾱn. Yakni Al-Madanῑ al-Awwal: Dalam riwayat kufi dari ahli Madina ada 6.217 ayat. Sedang dalam riwayat ahlul Basrah ada 6.214 ayat, Al-Madanῑ al-Akhῑr: 6.214 ayat, Al-Makkῑ: 6.210 ayat, Al-Baṣrῑ : 6.204 ayat, Al-Dimashqῑ : 6.227 dan dikatakan 6226 ayat, Al-Ḥamṣῑ : 6.232 ayat, Al-Kūfῑ : 6.236 ayat. Menurut al-Suyūťi ada 591 ayat, dan menurut Al-Wahidi ada 715 ayat yang mempunyai Asbāb al-Nuzūl. Jika dipersenkan sekitar 9-10%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak semua ayat-ayat didalam al-Qur’an memiliki Asbāb nuzul, meski dinilai penting tetap tidak bisa sesukanya mengambil peristiwa pada zaman Rasulullah untuk dijadikan sebagai Asbāb turunnya suatu ayat.

Abstract Introduction: Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) results from mutations in the NF1 gene that inactivate the tumor suppressor, neurofibromin. This leads to hyperactive RAS signaling that predisposes NF1 patients to tumor development. Over time, some of these tumors can develop into malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST) which are currently incurable.Immune checkpoint blocking (ICB) programs a patient’s immune system to enhance tumor destruction. However, MPNSTs are cold tumors characterized by low immune cell presence in the tumor microenvironment. Interestingly, MPNSTs show checkpoint protein PD-L1 expression suggesting ICB as potential therapy for MPNST, given the ability to increase immune cell density in the tumor microenvironment. Activation of the intracellular receptor stimulator of interferon genes (STING) enhances antitumor immunity through the induction of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, including type I interferons. Cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS) is an enzyme that once bound to cytosolic DNA, synthesizes cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAMP), which activates STING to induce inflammatory cytokines and other immune mediators. Preclinical studies using mouse tumor models have assessed the efficacy of STING agonists that trigger the cGAS-STING-IFN axis, ultimately leading to augmented innate immunity and a T cell-rich tumor environment. Additionally, combining STING agonists with ICB has a synergistic effect in treating tumors. Therefore, we hypothesize that treatment with STING agonists would turn “cold” MPNSTs into “hot” tumors making them susceptible to targeting with ICB. Methods: We treated MPNST cell lines with synthetic STING agonist ADU-S100 for varying durations of 8, 18, 24, and 48 hours. At the end of the treatment, cells were harvested for qRT-PCR and immunoblot analysis. Results: We measured STING-IFN pathway activation through immunoblotting and observed that phosphorylation of STING effector proteins - a readout of STING activation – was increased followingby 8 hours after treatment. qRT-PCR analysis showed that STING target cytokine/chemokine gene expression was also upregulated by 8 hours after ADU-S100 treatment. Conclusions: Theise data demonstrates that ADU-S100 was able to activate the STING pathway in MPNST cell lines leading to proinflammatory cytokine/chemokine production. We will next test STING agonist in vivo use to determine whether ADU-S100 treatment inin mouse MPNST modelss of MPNST to is able to reprogram the tumor microenvironment into an immune inflamed one amenable to immunotherapy. De plagg den excentriska kvinnan alltid drömmer om men aldrig hittar ute i butikerna; Färgstarka feminina kappor, klänningar och hattar att bära till vardags.Jag har i mitt arbete lagt stor vikt på färgkombinationerna, därför är stylingen och de små detaljerna mycket viktiga. Liksom färgerna i en tavla förhöjer varandra, förhöjer kläderna i min kollektion varandra och ger varandra karaktär.Färgsprakande kläder upplevs ofta som billiga, ofta för att de är gjorda i dåliga kvalitéer till tonåringar eller så är de tantiga och gjorda i linne för kulturtanten. Jag har därför gjort en kollektion till kvinnan som varken vill vara tonåring eller tant, kvinnan utan ålder, mina plagg har ingen ålder, bara personlighet. Jag har valt att använda mig av lyxiga material som man oftast inte använder till färgstarka kläder; siden, ull, sammet, viscosecrepe, fjädrar och hårfilt. Jag har även använt mig utav enklare material som bomull och syntetmaterial, men då just för att det ska ge en viss känsla åt plagget. Tygerna har jag gjort mer personliga genom applikationer och att blanda olika mönster och färger i plaggen.För att ge kollektionen en tidlös känsla har jag använt mig av klassiska feminina siluetter, timglasformen, prinsess-skärningen, fodralklänningen. Kläderna i min kollektion ska hålla i flera säsonger och vara bärarinnans favoritplagg. De plagg man aldrig slänger för att de är unika, tidlösa och gjorda i material av bra kvalité.Kollektionen är inspirerad av den kvinnliga kurviga kroppen, d v s kvinnor med midja , byst och rumpa. Mycket av modet ute i butikerna är gjorda till pojkflickan. Mitt mål är att framhäva kurviga kvinnors skönhet, men även personlighet hos var och en, att det inte handlar så mycket om kropp och ett vackert ansikte, med mina kläder spelar det ingen roll hur man ser ut, allt handlar om personlighet. Jag vill med min kollektion sprida färg, glamour, energi, humor och glädje. Just like the colours in a painting give each other life, the clothes in my collection give each other life with the colours and pattern in the fabric.Many people experience brave colour as cheap, often because they’re made in cheap fabrics and are made for teenagers or old ladies without any sense of style and fashion. I have made my collection for the woman/girl without any age who likes clothes with a lot of personality and in exclusive fabrics. I have made my clothes in materials such as wool, silk, velvet, viscosecrepe, feathers to give them a more exclusive look that colourful clothes mostly don’t have.With my collection I want to spread colour, glamour, energy, humour and happiness.

Esta dissertação, num primeiro momento, faz uma sucinta revisão crítica, pontuando as principais análises sobre o romance único de José Maria de Toledo Malta (pseudônimo Hilário Tácito), Madame Pommery. Para o leitor, será possível mapear e percorrer quase todos aqueles que se dedicaram a não silenciar e a recepcionar o romance, em diversas épocas, a partir de sua publicação. No entanto, o objeto mais importante aqui é a personagem Mme. Pommery e de que maneira esta, ultrapassando fronteiras regionais, sendo uma pobre imigrante no início do século passado e na provinciana cidade de São Paulo, consegue ascender socialmente, por meios não convencionais. Mulher, puta e caftina, Mme. Pommery tem uma capacidade empresarial ímpar, num meio hostil e numa estrutura socialmente fechada, formada, no mínimo, por três pilares de nossa formação: o coronel, o doutor e o bacharel. Na última etapa, vinculamos a protagonista, em especial pelo pragmatismo que nela se apresenta, à corrente picaresca, procurando equivalências em sociedades e civilizações distintas, não só no tempo e espaço, mas que compõem um caráter supranacional, conscientes de que a mesma pode ser vista, em parte, como uma neopícara e, principalmente, como a primeira malandra que se faz na literatura brasileira, aquela que aprende o ABC da trapaça e, hilária e tacitamente, chega ao topo social. Esta mulher deixa de ser submissa, deixa de ser inquilina, deixa de ser prostituta e cafetina, para ser uma conspícua senhora, a entrar para o eletrizante e aristocrático clube social da época e, com certeza, para a história da literatura brasileira.

La tesi va ad analizzare il lavoro effettuato per la creazione di Madama, una piattaforma per artisti emergenti. L’obiettivo del mio progetto di tesi è stato quello di creare questa piattaforma online, esclusivamente destinata ad artisti emergenti, i cui lavori fanno parte di diversi ambiti artistici, quali la pittura, la fotografia, la ceramica e la stampa su incisione. L’idea di scegliere sia ambiti conosciuti che inusuali è dovuta al desiderio di rendere il sito web ancora più innovativo ed interessante. Per ognuna delle quattro categorie presenti è stato individuato un artista da cui è stata selezionata un’opera. La peculiarità della mia piattaforma consiste nel fornire una spiegazione non convenzionale delle opere presenti. Queste difatti vengono spiegate attraverso l’utilizzo di un linguaggio denominato Information Design, cioè, un modo di fornire informazioni che favorisce una comprensione efficace ed efficiente del messaggio, attraverso un disegno ed una legenda come mezzo esplicativo dello stesso disegno. Nello specifico, la tesi racconterà tutti i passaggi che ho dovuto affrontare per arrivare al prodotto finale. Si parte dall’idea iniziale, per poi spostarsi all’analisi degli artisti e al sondaggio conoscitivo per capire i gusti del pubblico, fino ad arrivare alla concreta creazione della piattaforma online con tutte le varie sperimentazioni che hanno portato al prodotto finito. Questo soprattutto per quanto concerne le scelte riguardo il nome, la piattaforma da utilizzare, la creazione del logo e delle pagine presenti nel sito web. Infine, la tesi si conclude con le valutazioni degli artisti e del pubblico ed anche con alcune considerazioni finali sul progetto.

AbstractThis paper aimed to implement the 5S concept at Madani Bakery by using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, and Action) to reduce waste. The problems found in the bread industry have not implemented 5S so that there is waste during production activities. The method that can be used to overcome these problems is to apply 5S and PDCA so that they can make continuous improvements. The initial data used is the result of observing the initial conditions before implementing 5S and then determining Plan, Do, Check, and Action (PDCA). Based on observations at Madani bakery, two types of waste were found, namely unnecessary motion and transportation. Madani Bakery has not yet fully implemented 5S, there is still dust, items are in random condition, and there are still unused items at the work station. 5S deployments are designed to improve workstations and reduce unnecessary waste movement and transportation. The limitation of this research is that the application of 5S is carried out according to the conditions of the production area at Madani Bakery. This research can be useful for Madani Bakery to create a comfortable work environment and reduce working time caused by waste during production activities. This research is expected to help Madani Bakery to implement 5S so that it becomes a work culture to reduce waste. Repairs to work stations at Madani Bakery can be used in other industries in implementing 5S and creating a work culture. Working time was cut to 784.34 min, and waste was cut to 11.773 min.

Este escrito integra um estudo que teve como objetivo investigar e analisar os discursos docentes sobre as tecnologias nas práticas educativas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos no âmbito da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica – EJA-EPT no Instituto Federal de Goiás IFG. O estudo foi realizado nos cursos técnicos integrados na modalidade EJA, ofertados pelo IFG, Câmpus Anápolis, a saber: Secretaria Escolar e Transporte de Cargas. O aporte teórico fundamenta-se na teoria crítica da tecnologia como construto social a partir dos pressupostos do filósofo Andrew Feenberg e outros estudiosos do tema. A abordagem sobre a EJA EPT teve respaldo de Miguel González Arroyo; Marise Nogueira Ramos; MadAna Desirré R. Castro, dentre outros. Consistiu-se em uma abordagem fundamentada nos pressupostos do Materialismo Histórico Dialético e teve como instrumentos de coleta de dados o questionário e a entrevista semiestruturada, direcionados a 17 docentes dos cursos investigados. A análise dos dados apontou para a predominância de discursos assentados nas concepções instrumentalistas e deterministas segundo as quais os usos das tecnologias são pautados no domínio das funções técnicas dos aparatos objetivando atender às inovações do mercado de trabalho.

The change through grassroots democratic processes in the Indian political system is the result of a growing conviction that the big government cannot achieve growth and development in a society without people's direct participation and initiative. The decentralized political institutions have been more participatory and inclusive ensuring equality of political opportunity. Social exclusion in India is not a new phenomenon. History bears witness to exclusion of social groups on the bases of caste, class, gender and religion. Most notable is the category of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Women who were denied the access and control over economic and social opportunities as a result they were relegated to the categories of excluded groups. It is true that the problems of the excluded classes were addressed by the state through the enactment of anti-discriminatory laws and policies to foster their social inclusion and empowerment. Despite these provisions, exclusion and discrimination of these excluded groups continued. Therefore, there was a need to address issues of ‘inclusion’ in a more direct manner. Madhya Pradesh has made a big headway in the working for the inclusion of these excluded groups. The leadership role played by the under privileged, poor and the marginalized people of the society at the grassroots level is indeed remarkable because two decade earlier these people were excluded from public life and political participation for them was a distant dream. Against this backdrop, the paper attempts to unfold the changes that have taken place in the rural power structure after 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act. To what extent the decentralized political institutions have been successful in the inclusion of the marginalized section of the society in the state of Madhya Pradesh [India].

The potential for maize on the island of Madura is approximately 360,000 hectares. The potential for maize cultivation in Madura continues to decrease in land quality due to improper land clearing and land-use change. The purpose of this research was to make a map of land suitability for maize using Remote Sensing Data and Geographic Information System (GIS). The land suitability method for maize plants used satellite imagery as a data source, supported by fieldwork and secondary data. Data analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The results of the analysis of land suitability modeling based on agroecosystem potential found that most of the Madura area was suitable for maize cultivation. Madura island had a land area of 456,622.3ha for maize cultivation, where 170.379.5 (15.4%) was very appropriate, 211.412.3 ha (46.3%) was appropriate, 160,098.6 (35.1%) was less appropriate, and 14,732.0 ha (3.2%) was not appropriate.

Abstract (sommario):
Identifikasi heterosis dan heterobeltiosis pada persilangan dialel diantara galur inbrida Madura sangat dibutuhkan sebagai dasar untuk merakit varietas jagung hibrida yang sesuai untuk dikembangkan di Madura. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kombinasi persilangan yang menunjukkan nilai heterosis dan heterobeltiosis terbaik untuk karakter kegenjahan, penunjang produksi dan produksi per hektar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Bahan tanaman yang digunakan adalah 6 genotip galur inbred jagung madura (UTM 2, UTM 7, UTM 14, UTM 14, UTM 15, UTM 18, dan UTM 22), dan 30 hibrida hasil persilangan dialel penuh (full diallel cross) antar 6 genotip galur inbred. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) faktor tunggal, yaitu genotipe dengan tiga ulangan sehingga terdapat 108 satuan percobaan. Karakter yang diamati adalah umur berbunga, umur panen, diameter tongkol, panjang tongkol, bobot 100 biji, dan produksi per hektar. Persilangan yang menghasilkan nilai heterosis dan heterosbeltiosis terbaik untuk umur genjah adalah UTM14 x UTM18, UTM15 x UTM2 dan UTM18 x UTM2. Hasil persilangan untuk karakter diameter tongkol, panjang tongkol dan berat 100 biji sebagian besar menghasilkan nilai heterosis dan heterobeltiosis bernilai positif. Pada karakter produksi per hektar nilai heterosis dan heterobeltiosis tertinggi pada persilangan UTM2 x UTM14 (214,742%) dan UTM2 x UTM18 (171,585%).
