Nous avons transcrit le manuscrit le plus ancien du lm et nous faison apparaitre dans neuf colonnes les variantes des neuf autres manuscrits. L'etude linguistique se compose de trois parties. Dans la premiere, nous analysons et classons les themes des chapitres qui constituent les livres i et ii en montrant que l'ordre et le regroupement de ces themes donnent a l'oeuvre une coherence parfaite. De meme, nous etudions les trois types de developpements auxquels donnent lieu les themes et le role qu'y jouent les constantes de ces themes. La seconde partie est consacree a l'etude d'un seul type de developpements: les successions d'obligations. Cellesci sont tantot "simples" et tantot constituees par des obligations subordonnees. Nous avons distingue quatre categories de subordonnants: les issues des obligations precedentes, les epoques successives, les omissions des obligations precedentes, les conditions. Dans la troisieme partie, nous etudions les constituants des developpements qui sont de deux types: les unites-attributs et les unites-actions. Chaque unite-attribut se compose d'un porteur et d'un attribut proprement dit. Ce dernier peut correspondre a une identite, une situation, une qualite, un etat, une partie, un acquis du porteur, une entite presente chez ce porteur. Les unitesactions offrent, au moins, cinq profils distincts: le transfert du patient dans un lieu, le don du patient a un benificiaire, l'adjonction du patient a une autre entite, la transformation du patient, la confection d'une entite non animee
We have established the text for the okldest ms of the lm, while giving in 9 coklums the variants found in 9 other mss. The linguistic study consists of three parts. Frist, we have classified the themes of the chapters making up book i and ii showing that thematic consistency is a unifying factor. Then we have focused on a single type of developments, namely, the concatenations of obligations, either "simple" or composed of subordinate obligations. We have identified 4 categories of subordinating phrases: those resulting from the previous obligations; those indicating successive periods; those mentioning omission of the above - mentioned obligations, and eventually conditions. In our third part, we have studied the components of the developments, or units of 2 kinds: qualifiers and actions. Each qualifying unit is made up of a "support" and of a qualifier, properly speaking; the latter may denote identity, situation, quality, manner of being, constituting parts, acquired property or entity present in the support. The "action - units" are at least of 5 kinds; they indicate: transfer of patient into another place, gift of the patient to a beneficiary, integration of the patient into another entity, transformation of the patient, elaboration of an inanimate entity

L'obiettivo della presente tesi di laurea è la traduzione e l'analisi del saggio dedicato ai bambini Lecciones de poesía para niños inquietos (1999) di Luis García Montero. L'elaborato si articola in quattro capitoli. Il primo capitolo comprende la biografia dell'autore, la sua formazione accademica e professionale, le opere pubblicate fino ad oggi e lo stile. Contiene inoltre l'intervista originale con l'autore realizzata durante il mio soggiorno a Madrid nel novembre 2016. Il secondo capitolo si focalizza sull'analisi del testo di partenza, in cui vengono introdotte la Letteratura per l'infanzia e le sue caratteristiche, viene approfondita la poesia per bambini e viene compiuta un'analisi dettagliata degli elementi principali del libro (paratesto, contenuto, forma, etc.). Il terzo capitolo è dedicato alla proposta di traduzione in italiano del libro, di cui è stato conservato il formato dell'originale. Infine, nel quarto capitolo verrà esposta la metodologia adottata in fase di traduzione e verranno illustrate le strategie impiegate per risolvere i problemi sorti durante il processo traduttivo.

Cette thèse porte sur le recueil des lettres en vers de Pétrarque, les Epystole. Michele Feo, actuel éditeur de l’œuvre, a démontré que Pétrarque conclut le livre et le publia en 1364. A partir de ses indications, la thèse essaie d’inscrire les Epystole dans les projets littéraires de Pétrarque entre les années Cinquante et la moitié de la décennie suivante. En particulier, ce travail met à profit l’hypothèse chronologique de Francisco Rico, qui fait du Secretum le présupposé idéologique des recueils élaborés à partir de 1350. Fragmenta, Familiares et Epystole naîtraient d’un même état d’esprit, le recolligere sparsa, et se constitueraient avec l’objectif de donner une image idéalisée de l’expérience de vie et de pensée de leur auteur. Si la question a été abordée et approfondie pour le Chansonnier et les Lettres Familières, les Epystole n’ont pas été considérées dans cette perspective. À l’ombre du Secretum, le chapitre central de la thèse essaie de démontrer que les Epystole participent au même projet que les Fragmenta et Familiares. En même temps, le chapitre justifie l’hypothèse du titre, à savoir que les Epystole sont construites comme un livre.Le deuxième chapitre se constitue des fiches, qui portent sur les lettres prises individuellement. Elles approfondissent les thèmes et les occasions d’écriture des épîtres, avec une attention particulière pour la chronologie, et elles essaient de les mettre en relation avec le reste de la production de Pétrarque.L’appendice coïncide avec la traduction italienne en prose des lettres
This thesis concerns Petrarch’s collections of letters in verses, the Epystole. Michele Feo, currently editor of the work, has demonstrated that Petrarch has finished the book, and that he published it in 1364. Based on his indications, the thesis tries to frame the Epystole within the literary projects Petrarch developed between 1350 and the first part of the next decade.This thesis takes particularly advantage of Rico’s chronological hypothesis: changing the date of the Secretum to 1347-53, he made of the Secretum the ideological premise of the other projects of collection which Petrarch started in 1350. Petrarch develops the idea of Fragmenta, Familiares and Epystole at the same time, in the very same state of mind (recolligere sparsa), and with one objective: give to his contemporaries and to the posterity an idealised image of his own, of his experience and of his thinking. While the Canzoniere and the Familiares have been adequately studied from this perspective, the Epystole haven’t been considered. Keeping in mind the Secretum, the central chapter tries to demonstrate that the Epystole are involved in the same project of Fragmenta and Familiares. In parallel, it argues the hypothesis of the title, that the Epystole have the structure of a book.The second chapter consists of «files» for every letter. These files are focused on the themes, the occasions of writing, the chronological problems. They try also to link the letters to the rest of Petrarch’s writings.The appendix gives the prose Italian translation of the epistolary

La tesi si concentra sulla raccolta di lettere in versi di Petrarca, le Epystole, conosciute anche con il nome inesatto di Epystole metrice. In Italia l’opera, di cui si attende ancora l’edizione critica, si legge perlopiù in scelte antologiche, dal momento che risulta irreperibile l’unica edizione moderna completa, curata da Raffaele Argenio e pubblicata postuma. Così, la raccolta si legge tradotta e al completo soltanto nell’edizione ottocentesca di Domenico Rossetti, dove la seriazione dei testi è modificata dall’editore a suo uso e consumo. Insieme agli errori dell’editore Enrico Bianchi e alla vulgata che ne è conseguita, la storia editoriale delle Epystole spiega le ragioni di un’interpretazione a tratti depauperante e sempre parziale, che ha guardato all’opera come ad un tentativo sconclusionato e poco felice. A partire dalle indicazioni dell’attuale editore, Michele Feo, che ha dimostrato come invece la raccolta fosse portata a compimento e pubblicata da Petrarca nel 1364, si è cercato di inquadrare le Epystole entro le maglie della progettualità petrarchesca tra gli anni Cinquanta e la metà del decennio successivo. Il lavoro mette a frutto, in particolare, l’ipotesi cronologica di Francisco Rico che, assegnando la composizione del Secretum agli anni tra il 1347 e il 1353, fa del dialogo il presupposto ideologico dei grandi progetti di raccolta elaborati a partire dal 1350. Rerum vulgarium fragmenta, Rerum familiarium libri ed Epystole nascerebbero da una medesima condizione mentale, il recolligere sparsa, e si costituirebbero, secondo finalità autopromozionali, per consegnare a contemporanei e posteri un’immagine idealizzata della propria esperienza di vita e di pensiero. Se la questione è stata da tempo approfondita per Canzoniere e Familiari, le Epystole ne sono state sfiorate appena. All’ombra del Secretum, il capitolo centrale della tesi cerca di dimostrare come l’epistolario in versi partecipi a quelle stesse finalità, costruendo percorsi coerenti con l’ideologia che guida la costruzione delle altre raccolte, diversamente da questa documentabile. Contestualmente, è argomentata l’ipotesi del titolo, che le Epystole siano cioè un libro, e che possiedano una struttura non soltanto definita, ma significativa. Così indica il valore simbolico dei testi collocati in posizione rilevata, il proemio e le lettere finali dei tre libri; così lasciano pensare i testi che, accostati a vario titolo, costruiscono serie compatte per destinatario, tema, occasione. La lettura di ciascuna lettera è demandata a schede specifiche, che costituiscono la seconda parte della tesi. In appendice si trova la traduzione italiana in prosa di tutte le lettere.

Resumo: Este trabalho contempla a história do livro para crianças no Brasil e na França entre as décadas de vinte e quarenta e a sua estreita relação com o movimento renovador da educação em ambos os países; concentra-se no estudo das obras do brasileiro Monteiro Lobato (1882-1948) e do francês Paul Faucher (1898-1967), criador dos famosos álbuns do "Père Castor". Amigos de importantes educadores do movimento da Escola Nova, Lobato e Faucher empreenderam experiências pioneiras na produção de livros para crianças. No trabalho de ambos, percebe-se uma semelhança fundamental: a existência de um projeto pedagógico subjacente ao projeto editorial. Mais do que comparar pontos em comum ou distintos na obra desses dois promotores de leitura, o objetivo principal, ao compará-los, é iluminar aspectos que engendram essas semelhanças e diferenças; é compreender que razões em jogo as condicionam dentro do contexto de produção,circulação e recepção dessas obras. Nesta tese, procurou-se discutir que tipo de leitura Lobato e Faucher fizeram da Escola Nova; como a adesão deles ao ideário do movimento escolanovista resulta em livros; que tipo de investimento cada um fez e o que resultou dessas escolhas: semelhanças? Diferenças? Com este fim, a pesquisa debruçou-se não apenas sobre livros, mas também sobre cartas pessoais, periódicos, fichas de edição, relatórios de vendas, prospectos de congressos, e toda sorte de impressos que documentam as atividades e as relações estabelecidas entre escritores, editores, artistas plásticos, intelectuais, políticos, pedagogos e educadores. As conclusões a que se chegou apontam para uma semelhança nos mecanismos de funcionamento do sistema literário no Brasil e na França dos anos 20, 30 e 40; semelhantes concepções de infância e educação em Lobato e Faucher, no entanto, diferentes métodos na realização dos projetos editoriais e literários que deram origem aos seus livros
Abstract: This dissertation examines the history of children's books in Brazil and France between the decades of 1920 and 1940 and its close relation to the education renovating movement in both countries; it focuses on the work of the Brazilian author Monteiro Lobato (1882-1948) and the French Paul Faucher (1898-1967), creator of the famous Père Castor albums. While keeping friendship relations with eminent educators of the Escola Nova [New School or Progressive Education] movement, both Lobato and Faucher carried out pioneering practices in children's books production. It is possible to notice a fundamental common aspect in the work of both authors: the presence of a pedagogical project underlying their editorial project. More than comparing common and distinctive points in the work of these two supporters of reading, the main objective here is to elucidate some aspects that contribute to these similarities and differences by identifying the factors that shape these elements of comparison in the context of the creation, dissemination and reception of their work. In this dissertation, I sought to examine what was the perception that Lobato and Faucher had about the Escola Nova movement, how their connection to the movement reflect in their books, which pathways each of them took and what were the results of the choices they have made. Are they mostly differences or similarities? In trying to answer these questions, the research sought to examine not only books, but also personal letters, journals, notes, sales reports, conference proceedings, and all sorts of printings that document the authors' activities and the relations they established with writers, editors, artists, intellectuals, politicians and educators. The conclusions I have reached point toward a similarity in the literary systems of Brazil and French in the 20s, 30s and 40s; they also indicate similar conceptions of childhood and education in Lobato and Faucher; in contrast, however, the findings also reveal differences in the methods used in the editorial and literary projects that are at the origin of their books

En la actualidad, la estadística se ha convertido en uno de los pilares del método científico, las posibilidades que ofrece de aplicar modelos probabilísticos para explicar la realidad a través de la incertidumbre la ha convertido en una asignatura obligada en casi todas las universidades del mundo. Su masificación ha implicado incursionar en la mayoría de áreas del conocimiento, ubicándose como parte importante de la malla curricular en un gran número de carreras profesionales. A pesar de la importancia que acarrea la estadística para la investigación, los estudios sobre su enseñanza en niveles universitarios muestran que es una de las asignaturas que presenta mayor rechazo por parte del estudiante, siendo este fenómeno más marcado en las carreras que no están relacionadas con números, como lo son aquellas dentro de las ciencias sociales, las ciencias de la educación, ciencias de la comunicación, entre otras

“Inquiry about Saci” was an opinion survey promoted by Monteiro Lobato (1882-1948), published in the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo in its evening edition, between January 27th and March 6th, 1917. It gained greater impact in the following year, with the publication in book format, entitled O Saci-Perere: results of an inquiry (1918). The comparison between the newspaper texts and the book reveals textual interference (Lajolo, 2014) of its organizer. This research aims to identify and analyze the extent of such interference, noting the double work of Lobato, the writer and the editor. Using literature searches and investigation of primary sources, it begins with the recovery of the texts that have been published in newspapers, since the originals letters of witnesses could not be located. The focus of this work is the comparison between the texts of both support and its analysis, and seeking to establish the features and the depth of Lobato interference when making this double transfer. It is suggested that the boundaries between editing and authoring work are diluted, resulting of this process a cohesive narrative where one can identify the presence of a narrator to lead and manage the reading, while that democratically makes room for the participation of other voices, to the plurality of perspectives.
O “Inquérito sobre o saci” foi uma pesquisa de opinião promovida por Monteiro Lobato (1882-1948) e publicada no jornal O Estado de São Paulo em sua edição vespertina, entre os dias 27 de janeiro e 06 de março de 1917. Ganhou maior repercussão no ano seguinte com a edição em livro, intitulado O Saci-Pererê: resultado de um inquérito (1918). O cotejo entre os textos do jornal e os do livro revela interferências textuais (Lajolo, 2014) de seu organizador. Esta pesquisa busca identificar e analisar a extensão destas interferências, observando o duplo trabalho desenvolvido por Lobato, o de escritor e o de editor. Utilizando pesquisas bibliográficas e investigação de fontes primárias, inicia-se pela recuperação dos textos que foram publicados no jornal, uma vez que os originais das cartas dos depoentes não puderam ser localizados. O ponto central do trabalho é a comparação entre os textos de ambos os suportes e sua análise, procurando estabelecer as características e a profundidade das interferências de Lobato ao efetuar esta dupla transferência. Sugere-se que as fronteiras entre o trabalho de edição e o de autoria se diluem, resultando desse processo uma narrativa coesa na qual é possível identificar a presença de um narrador a conduzir e gerenciar a leitura, ao mesmo tempo em que democraticamente abre espaço à participação de outras vozes, à pluralidade de perspectivas.

Materiali per una sociologia del libro: senso, rappresentazioni e significati simbolici del libro nella tarda modernità Alla luce delle possibilità offerte dalle innovazioni tecnologiche dell’era digitale, in grado di proporre nuove soluzioni per la scrittura e la lettura e quindi di introdurre mutamenti per quanto attiene i meccanismi ed i comportamenti che presiedono alla pratica del leggere e scrivere, obiettivo della ricerca è comprendere se nel libro cartaceo tradizionale – tecnologia della parola che diviene oggetto culturale e materiale insieme – si ravvisi ancora oggi, nella vita quotidiana, un senso, quali siano le sue rappresentazioni e i significati simbolici in particolare in quest’epoca tardo-moderna che non riesce ad affrancarsi completamente da alcuni di quei processi culturali e sociali della modernità che dichiara di voler lasciare, e che, pertanto, si trova invischiata tra un passato che non è più e un futuro che non è ancora. Obiettivo ultimo quindi è dire se nel presente si sia fuori dalla civiltà del libro o meno, provando a comprendere, in particolare, se ancora oggi l’oggetto libro possa continuare ad essere guardato come un contenitore (nella tesi si prova a suggerire un luogo) in cui riversare e conservare non solo “saperi e conoscenze” ma anche “memoria e tradizioni”, e quindi significati condivisi da un’intera società; comprendere se nell’epoca attuale il libro è occasione per intessere relazioni e dare forma a rappresentazioni simboliche, assumendo inoltre un ruolo decisivo sia per la costruzione dell’identità individuale sia per quella dell’identità sociale. Questi gli obiettivi posti a fondamento della ricerca empirica, cui precede una riflessione teorica che, per meglio introdurre tali questioni, si propone di mettere in luce come, storicamente, l’avvicendarsi dei cambiamenti circa le diverse forme di oralità e scrittura assunte nelle distinte civiltà abbia comportato alcune trasformazioni culturali e sociali in particolare per ciò che concerne tre diverse questioni: le rivoluzioni del sensorio nel passaggio epocale tra le società orali-aurali e quelle successive all’invenzione della scrittura; l’invenzione del libro a stampa come propulsore per l’avvio dell’epoca moderna; il ruolo della scrittura, e più nello specifico del libro, per il senso della memoria individuale e collettiva. La tesi, nel suo complesso, può essere letta seguendo tre direttrici: 1. materialità dell’oggetto tradizionale e dei potenziali sostituti (ponendo lo sguardo sul senso attribuito al supporto); 2. funzionalità dell’oggetto (ponendo lo sguardo sul senso attribuito al valore d’uso, al valore simbolico di scambio e al valore sacrale); 3. corporeità agita sull’oggetto (ponendo lo sguardo sul senso attribuito alla dimensione sensoriale). I guadagni maggiormente degni di nota trattano i seguenti argomenti: - il senso del libro oggi è ancora fortemente radicato nella vita quotidiana; in particolare poiché strettamente connesso con gli aspetti sensoriali promossi dal supporto cartaceo che si ritiene, quantomeno allo stato attuale, ancora ineguagliato dai supporti digitali. Come a dire: il libro tiene, perché, e ancor più, tiene la carta; - gli intervistati, riferendo delle questioni che ruotano attorno al senso del libro, fanno emergere come significativo il concetto di “ambivalenza”: in particolare per quanto attiene la tematica specifica sulla sacralità dell’oggetto, l’individuazione dei vantaggi o, rovesciati di segno, degli svantaggi offerti dai supporti digitali e multimediali rispetto al libro; il concetto di maggiore veridicità, reale o presunta, dei contenuti pubblicati su carta e controllati dal circuito tradizionale di produzione; la problematizzazione della questione inerente democratizzazione e partecipazione offerte dalla rete; la questione se il libro contribuisca o meno a dare prestigio sociale. - intorno all’oggetto permane un’aura sacrale, non tanto per ciò che attiene i suoi contenuti quanto poiché assume aspetti di feticcio in conseguenza dell’“impronta personale” che su di esso è possibile tracciare (aspetti strettamente legati alla corporeità e quindi, ancora una volta, alla sensorialità implicata); - ad oggi i nuovi supporti digitali non vengono creduti necessariamente più sicuri per la salvaguardia dei contenuti; anche la fruizione di contenuti digitali, ove praticata, resta in misura significativa vincolata al passaggio alla carta – attraverso la stampa – che consente maggiore leggibilità e possibilità di personalizzazione. A conclusione dell’analisi dei testi, in particolare in base ai comportamenti agiti e dichiarati dagli intervistati, si riferisce di tre distinte modalità comportamentali (ed i nuclei di idee da cui muovono), riferibili seguendo la specifica direttrice legata al grado di rilevanza attribuito agli aspetti sensoriali nel dire del senso del libro: (A) modalità “appassionata”, (B) modalità “possibilista”, (C) modalità “indifferente”. In generale la ricerca empirica porta a concludere che oggi il senso del libro spesso è associato all’idea che esso sia la tessera di un puzzle più grande, in cui l’esperienza si amplifica, in cui si avvia un percorso di senso che non finisce nella sua lettura, ma prosegue nella fruizione di immagini, suoni, filmati e musica scaricabili altrove; autosufficiente ancora per molti aspetti, tassello centrale da cui muovere per attaccare tutti gli altri, è innegabile che però da solo non possa più comporre il disegno definitivo della realtà contemporanea. È così che oggi, questa la risposta che si crede di aver guadagnato, pur non essendo più nella civiltà moderna del libro, non si è ancora a pieno titolo nella civiltà post-moderna del libro digitalizzato.
Material for a sociology of the book: sense, representations and symbolic meanings of the book in the late Modernity In the light of the possibilities offered by the technological innovations of the digital era, that propose new solutions for writing and reading introducing changes about dynamics and behaviours that concern the practice of reading and writing - the objective of this study is to understand if in the traditional paper book it is recognized still today, in the daily life, a sense, which are its representations and its symbolic meanings, in particular in this late modern age, that does not manage to get completely free of some of the cultural and social processes of the modernity that it affirms to want to get rid of. The final goal is therefore is to say if in the present time we are out from the civilization of the book or not, trying to comprehend, in particular, if today the object book can still be seen as an holder (in this thesis it is suggested a place) where to transfer and file not only “knowledge and learning”, but also “memory and traditions”, that is to say meanings shared by the whole society. Also, to understand if in the present age the book is occasion for creating relationships and giving shape to symbolic representations, playing therefore an important part both in the building of the individual and social identity. These are the main objectives at the basis of the empiric research, preceded by a theoretic consideration that, in order to better introduce this matter, tries to highlight how the historical changes about the different forms of orality and literacy assumed in the different civilizations have entailed some big cultural and social transformations, in particular about what concerns three different matters: first, the revolutions of the sensory in the epoch-making transit between the oral societies and the ones successive to the invention of writing. Secondly, the invention of the printed book as the launch engine for the beginning of the modern age. Finally, the role of writing, in particular of the book, in the sense of the individual and social memory. The thesis can be therefore read following three main guidelines: 1. Materiality of the traditional object and its potential substitutes (Highlighting the meaning attributed to the support); 2. Functionality of the object (Highlighting the meaning attributed to the fruition value, to the symbolic exchange value and to the sacral value); 3. Corporeity acted on the object (highlighting the meaning attributed to the sensorial dimension). The main results concern the following themes: - the sense of the book is still deep-rooted in daily life; particularly because strongly connected with the sensorial aspects promoted by the paper support that is currently considered not yet equalled by the digital supports. That is to say: the book lasts because the paper lasts. - The interviewed, referring to the matters around the sense of the book, remark the concept of “ambivalence”: in particular, for what concerns the specific subject of the sacrality of the object, the spotting of the advantages and disadvantages offered by the digital and multimedia supports compared to the book; the idea of the greater truthfulness, real or presumed, of the contents published on paper and controlled by the traditional production chain; the matter of democratization and participation offered by the net; the question if the book concurs to give social prestige as a status symbol. - Around the object “book” it remains a “sacral aura”, not only for its contents but also for its “fetish” aspect, consequently to the personal mark that it is possible to leave on it (aspects deeply connected to corporeity and therefore, once again, to the implied sensoriality); - To this day the new digital supports are not necessarily considered safer for the protection of the contents; also the use of digital contents, when practiced, remains significantly linked to the paper – through printing – that allows an easier way to read and personalize the text. As a conclusion of the analysis of the texts, in particular on the basis of the behaviours acted and declared by the interviewed, it is possible to indicate three different behavioural modalities, identified on the basis of the specific outline about the relevance degree assigned to the sensorial aspects talking about the sense of the book: (A) “passionate” modality, (B) “possibilist” modality, (C) “indifferent” modality. It can be affirmed that the general conclusion of the empiric study is that currently the sense of the book is often associated to the idea that it is a piece of a bigger jigsaw puzzle, where the experience is amplified, where it is possible to start a way of sense that does not concludes in the reading, but continues in the fruition of images, sounds, videos and music elsewhere. The book can be therefore said still self-sufficient for many aspects, central piece of the jigsaw puzzle linked to all the others, but at the same time it is undeniable that it cannot anymore compose by itself the definitive representation of the contemporary reality. This is why it is possible to affirm that the result of this essay is that, in the present day, even if not anymore in the modern civilization of the book, we are not yet completely and legitimately in the post-modern civilization of the digitized book.

En tiempos en los que la información, abunda este libro constituye una herramienta valiosa para una gran variedad de disciplinas, desde la literatura hasta la publicidad e incluso la educación. Y es que todos tenemos el reto de transformar la información en contenido valioso, de enamorar y no abrumar.

La ricerca propone uno studio dell’«Opera in corso» di Roberto Calasso, un insieme di otto volumi – dalla Rovina di Kasch (1983) al Cacciatore Celeste (2016) – refrattari a una precisa indicazione di genere letterario e volti a indagare la modernità attraverso i più diversi campi del sapere, dalla critica d’arte alla filosofia, dalla storia del pensiero economico alla scienza delle religioni. La tesi si compone di quattro parti. La prima illustra il concetto di «letteratura assoluta», nel quale si individua il filo conduttore del vasto work in progress calassiano, mette in luce i tratti di organicità dell’«opera in corso» enucleandone i principali temi ricorrenti e investiga il suo particolare assetto formale, a cavallo fra narrativa e saggistica. Indaga quindi: il significato degli apparati iconografici testuali e paratestuali; il particolare approccio di Calasso alla storia e alla storiografia; il rapporto dell’«opera in corso» con opere contemporanee e con la temperie postmoderna. La seconda parte è interamente dedicata al macro-tema della mente, uno dei più importanti per l’autore. La terza parte è incentrata sul sacrificio, altro caposaldo dell’architettura calassiana. L’ultima parte della tesi propone una rilettura dell’estetica di Calasso in chiave mistico-religiosa, indagando l’«opera in corso» attraverso i simboli della ninfa, della foresta e del serpente.

The thesis presents a critical and textual commentary on Livy's book 26. The analysis focuses on linguistic, stylistic and literary aspects, but discusses also historical and archaeological matters, in order to take into account the complexity of Livy's work. The commentary is preceded by an Introduction which presents an overall analysis of book 26 with special regard to contents, style, historiographical matters and textual tradition. The commentary does not provide a new critical edition of the book but extensively discusses several loci critici on the basis of critical editions from late XVIII century onwards, as well as of a number of manuscripts available online (especially P M N and A).
Questa tesi presenta un commento critico-testuale al libro 26 degli Ab urbe condita libri di Tito Livio. L’analisi è stata condotta ad locum e, pur focalizzandosi su aspetti linguistici e stilistico-letterari, si propone di attraversare la complessa stratigrafia dell’opera liviana con la maggior completezza possibile, discutendo questioni storiche e archeologiche utili alla comprensione del testo. Il commento è preceduto da un’introduzione nella quale si fornisce un’analisi complessiva del libro 26 dal punto di vista contenutistico, stilistico, storiografico e testuale. Pur non proponendo una nuova edizione critica del libro 26, che avrebbe evidentemente ecceduto i limiti di un progetto di dottorato, la tesi include la discussione di svariati loci critici, basata sull’esame delle edizioni critiche dalla fine del '700 a oggi e di un certo numero di manoscritti accessibili online (spec. P M N e A).

Este trabalho apresenta, primordialmente, um estudo sobre o processo de composição do livro Reinações de Narizinho, de Monteiro Lobato. Parte-se de um depoimento do próprio escritor em carta ao amigo Godofredo Rangel, escrita em 1931. Com base em passagens significativas do referido depoimento, realizam-se comentários e análises, dentre as quais se destacam o cotejo do volume com uma de suas versões preliminares, A Menina do Narizinho Arrebitado, e o estudo da unificação dos episódios que compõem a obra enfocada. No paralelo e na investigação dos meios de integração mobilizados, apontam-se as melhorias e os resultados do esforço de coesão obtidos por Lobato no que diz respeito a temas, ao discurso, aos recursos lingüísticos e à apresentação de personagens. A comparação e o estudo da unificação objetivam revelar o aprimoramento da linguagem narrativa lobatiana e verificar a compatibilidade de intenção e realização no livro considerado. Complementa o trabalho a contribuição a uma possível indexação dos episódios ficcionais e das personagens do livro Reinações de Narizinho.
This work shows, mainly, a study about the process of composition of the book Reinações de Narizinho, by Monteiro Lobato. We initiate it with a declaration of the writer in a letter to his friend Godofredo Rangel, written in 1931. Basing on significant passages of the referred declaration, some comments and analysis are performed. Among them, some deserve attention, as the comparison of the book with one of its previous versions, A Menina do Narizinho Arrebitado, and the study of the unification of the episodes that compose the work. In the confrontation and investigation of the ways of unification used, we can mention the advances and the results of the cohesion effort obtained by Lobato concerning the themes, the speech, the linguistic resources and the characters presentation. The comparison and the study of the unification have the purpose of revealing the improvement of Lobato's narrative language and examining the compatibility of intension and accomplishment in the book. The work is concluded with a contribution to a probable indexation of the fictional episodes and the characters of the book Reinações de Narizinho.

A partir do mapeamento, identificação e análise dos conceitos científicos e da concepção de ciência presente no texto desse livro, explanou-se sobre o uso da literatura de Lobato como material para o Ensino de Ciências. It was possible to identify a range of situations experienced by the characters in the story who report scientific issues, a number of concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Philosophy of Science and the most potential for teaching Science. Presentación realizada entre la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) y el Centro Tropical de Entrenamiento en Humedales (CNEH-Perú), 20 de Marzo en Campus Monterrico. Lima, Perú.
“Donde Nacen los Ríos” es el primer cuento publicado en el país que trata sobre temas de deforestación y calidad del agua presentado en formato impreso y con realidad aumentada. A través de la carrera de Ingeniería Ambiental, la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) fomenta esta clase de publicaciones que invita a la reflexión sobre las problemáticas medioambientales del país. Con el objetivo de concientizar sobre los efectos de la deforestación, la calidad del agua que consumimos, así como también la importancia de la flora y fauna en los ecosistemas, el Centro Neotropical de Entrenamiento en Humedales – Perú (CNEH-Perú), mediante su Centro de Capacitación en Conservación y Desarrollo sostenible (CDS), lanzó “Donde Nacen los Ríos”. Este libro en formato de cuento incorpora tecnologías como la realidad aumentada en audio y video, lo que le agrega valor para los lectores.

It might seem obvious to state that Paisajes peruanos, one of José de la Riva-Agüero’s threegreat books, should be a travel book, as it is , in effect, the wording of a trip really made. Not whithstandingly, not every trip finishes in the form of a textual genre know as a “travel book”. Using the three dicothomies proposed by Luis Alburquerque for identifying a travel book (“factual” as opposed to “fictional”, “descriptive” as opposed to “narrative”, and “objective” as opposed to “subjective”), this paper proves the generic filiation of Paisajes peruanos. What this paper does not prove is why Riva-Agüero used specifically this particular genre tocristalize his idea of “integral Peruanity”.
Parece obvio que Paisajes peruanos, uno de los tres textos más importantes de José dela Riva-Agüero, sea un “libro de viajes”, al ser, en efecto, el registro de un viaje realmente acontecido. Sin embargo, no todos los viajes se expresan en el género textual denomina- do “libro de viajes”. Mediante su determinación como “factual” frente a “ficcional”, como “descriptivo” frente a “narrativo” y como “objetivo” frente a “subjetivo” –los tres grandes binomios establecidos por Luis Alburquerque para el género– se prueba la filiación genérica de Paisajes peruanos. No se responde totalmente, sin embargo, a la pregunta de por quéescoge Riva-Agüero un “libro de viajes” para cristalizar su idea de la peruanidad integral.

The Libro de Apolonio has been the focus of a number of studies throughout the years. Since the first complete publication of the work by Pedro Jose Pidal in 1840, scholarship related to the poem and other closely associated literary works has developed significantly. The ensuing study undertakes a review of the trajectory of Libro de Apolonio studies, focusing specifically on matters which address the language and versification of the poem as it was originally composed. Previous editions are closely analyzed with the intention of revealing stylistic and linguistic features of the poem whose careful examination will serve to advance the critical reconstruction of the poem's original language. The results of the study are included in an edited section of the Libro de Apolonio which constitutes the final chapter.

La tesi verte offre un commento scientifico del libro XXV degli Ab Urbe Condita di Tito Livio, tuttora mancante di un moderno commento critico-testuale. Il commento, rivolto all’intero libro, è condotto ad locum, contemperando un’esegesi contenutistica e un’analisi di tipo letterario. Le singole componenti del testo (fatti storici, Realien, aspetti stilistico-retorici, linguistici, giuridici, religiosi, topografici) sono considerate singolarmente, ma in modo non isolato, nell’intenzione di rendere conto della tecnica compositiva e della costruzione narrativa liviana. Inoltre, nel commento si dedica ampio spazio alle questioni testuali, partendo da un riesame complessivo della tradizione manoscritta (il testo dei libri XXI-XXV dipende dalla tradizione unica e corrotta del Par. lat. 5730) e delle congetture introdotte dagli editori, avanzando, dove sembra opportuno, una nuova proposta emendatoria. Data la mancanza di un repertorio di congetture al testo liviano e la frequente difficoltà di ricavare dagli apparati critici informazioni sulla datazione e sulla pubblicazione delle congetture successive all’edizione di Drakenborch, l’analisi dei singoli loci critici rende conto anche di queste proposte, se rilevanti per la costituzione del testo. Nell’introduzione al commento viene fornita una panoramica degli argomenti presentati nel libro, considerati sotto il profilo del contenuto storico e della struttura organizzativa e visti alla luce dell’intera decade.
The thesis offers a scientific commentary on book XXV of Ab Urbe Condita by Livy, which is still missing a modern critical textual commentary. The commentary, which refers to the entire book, is conducted ad locum, combining a content exegesis and a literary analysis. The individual components of the text (historical facts, Realien, stylistic-rhetorical, linguistic, juridical, religious, topographical aspects) are considered individually, but not in isolation, with the intention of giving an account of the compositional technique and Livian narrative construction. Moreover, the commentary devotes ample space to textual problems, starting with a comprehensive review of the manuscript tradition (the text of books XXI-XXV depends on the unique and corrupt tradition of Par. Lat. 5730) and the conjectures introduced by the editors. Given the lack of a repertoire of conjectures on the Livian text and the frequent difficulty of obtaining information on the dating and publication of the conjectures subsequent to the Drakenborch edition, the analysis of the loci critici also takes into account these proposals, if relevant for constitution of the text. The introduction to the commentary provides an overview of the topics presented in the book, considered in terms of historical content and organisational structure, and seen in the light of the entire decade.

Tradurre libri per l’infanzia significa anche rientrare in contatto con il bambino che si cela dentro di noi e riscoprire quell’atteggiamento di stupore verso le cose del mondo che con gli anni si è in parte sopito. Se, in aggiunta, i protagonisti del testo da tradurre sono principesse stravaganti e insospettabili animali, il tutto si fa estremamente divertente e stimolante. In questo modo la traduzione si tramuta in un vero e proprio gioco letterario, pur con il suo corollario di regole e obiettivi specifici. Nella fattispecie, mi sono posto l’obiettivo di tradurre integralmente il libro di poesia illustrata per l’infanzia El libro de las princesas (2011) della scrittrice spagnola Carmen Gil, illustrato da Sonia Sanz ed edito dalla casa editrice Toromítico. Il lavoro è organizzato in diverse sezioni: un’introduzione contenente le motivazioni che mi hanno spinto a svolgere l’intero elaborato, a cui fa seguito la presentazione del libro, dell’autrice e dell’illustratrice; la mia proposta di traduzione, corredata dalla presentazione del metodo di lavoro adottato e dal commento alla traduzione; una scheda di presentazione editoriale; e per concludere una riflessione finale sulla traduzione in generale e sulla mia traduzione in particolare.

La discusión sobre la conveniencia de eliminar o disminuir el IVA a los libros ha reaparecido en los últimos meses. Lo anterior ha motivado el presente trabajo, en el cual se formula la siguiente hipótesis nula: “una disminución o eliminación en el IVA a los libros aumentará de forma significativa la cantidad de lectores en Chile”. Primero constatamos la problemática exhibiendo los hábitos lectores en Chile contrastándolos con distintos países de la región similares a Chile. Luego, para contestar la pregunta, se analizaron diversas políticas aplicadas respecto al libro en función de diversos parámetros, tales como cantidad de librerías y editores por habitante, concentración de la industria, precio promedio del libro, etc. Se rechaza la hipótesis nula, debido a la inelasticidad precio de la demanda presente en los individuos que no tienen hábitos lectores, además concluye que esta política sólo beneficiará a los grupos socioeconómicos ABC1 y C2 quienes son principalmente los demandantes de libros y también beneficiará a las editoriales, las cuales presentan poder de mercado. La baja demanda por libros en Chile y en general en toda Latinoamérica hace que los costos fijos de impresión y tiraje por unidad sean elevados situándose la cantidad de copias producidas por título por debajo del óptimo. Se aconseja también seguir políticas que no apunten sólo a la disminución del precio del libro, sino busquen desarrollar hábitos lectores sólidos desde la infancia. Las limitaciones principales presentadas en la investigación, se generan en los nulos datos respecto a las elasticidades en el mercado del libro. Suponemos inelástica la elasticidad precio de la demanda para los no lectores, debido a que sólo un 13,2% de ellos señala como razón principal de su falta de hábito lector, el elevado precio de los textos. Y suponemos elástica la elasticidad precio para los lectores, debido a que un 77,2% señala que demandaría más si se suprimiera el cobro de IVA a los libros.

The aim of this thesis is to study the book LE CORBUSIER UND PIERRE JEANNERET, IHR GESAMTES WERK VON 1910-1929, originally published in German in 1929 and reissued in 1937 as LE CORBUSIER ET PIERRE JEANNERET, ŒUVRE COMPLÈTE 1910-1929. The book brings together in one place some of his first projects, the ones he had planned and built at that point, and would later become the first volume of his complete works, a collection of eight volumes which covers much of his work as an architect and town planner over a period of 55 years (1910 -1965). From the time of the publication of the first volume onwards, the collection then becomes the main reference, the storage receptacle, the documentary source and the graphic support for the dissemination of his projects. The thesis aims to analyse the book in two distinct parts, differentiated by the figure of the closed and the open book. In the first part we study the closed book, that is, the book as an object in itself. It is an investigation into the origins of the book, the circumstances that led to its development and the people involved in this process, both the original 1929 edition and the reissued version of 1937. Formal considerations related to the format and typesetting are discussed, and a search for the book¿s precedents is undertaken, firstly from the point of view of Le Corbusier himself, as the prolific author he was becoming, with considerable and growing experience in the production of books and journal articles written to disseminate his architectural work. After this, the editorial context of the period will be examined in greater detail, through the study of previous and contemporary publications which might serve as a reference point, in particular those which contain drawings and/or other graphic information on his projects. The thesis also examines the books on architecture or on the works of prominent contemporary architects of the 1920s, a period of particular importance in the emergence and consolidation of modern architecture in Europe, and one in which publications played an important role. In the second part, the book is opened, and viewed from a highly specific perspective, that of architectural representation. First of all, the drawing of perspective, which is considered to provide key structural documentation on the book¿s content, is analysed. With this in mind, a specific methodology is proposed as part of the analysis: with the starting point of the technical reconstruction of the drawings, hypotheses were formed regarding the processes by which they were built, the possible intentions of the artist and the measures required to communicate these intentions. The thesis goes on to examine other systems, such as axonometric graphics, photography and photomontage, before highlighting the differences in the systems of representation used for three types of project: a) theoretical studies, in which Le Corbusier¿s main postulates in the fields of architecture and town planning, developed primarily for the exhibitions of 1922 and 1925, are outlined; b) constructed projects where the use of photography complements the drawing; and c) large-scale projects developed from 1927 onwards, by which time the workshop had at its disposal more staff and more orders. In order to reach some conclusions, the coherence and effectiveness of such systems and geometrical procedures are interpreted in the light of certain theories of the psychology of perception, and also bearing in mind the architect's own ideas.

In this article, the reader will find methodological guidelines on how to write a college textbook. It offers procedures for setting up a work team responsible for the preparation of textbooks; explains how to define the topics to be addressed, as well as procedures for information management, and detection of appropriate literature. Additionally, it emphasizes theoretical research types, interpretation of theories, theoretical conclusions and the pedagogical function of the college textbook. Finally, it provides some editorial guidelines, such as textbook structure, notes, bibliographical references, images and charts, authors’ biographies, correction stage, and final review up to distribution.
En el presente trabajo, el lector encontrará pautas metodológicas para la realización de un libro de texto universitario; se sistematizan procedimientos para la conformación del equipo de trabajo encargado de la elaboración de los libros de texto; se explica cómo delimitar las temáticas que pueden ser abordadas; se exponen los procedimientos de gestión de la información, así como la detección de la literatura apropiada. Además, se enfatiza en las formas de indagación teórica, interpretación de teorías, conclusiones teóricas y las funciones didácticas del libro de texto. Por último, se exponen algunas pautas editoriales que van, desde la estructura del libro de texto, notas, referencias bibliográficas, tratamiento de imágenes o tablas, semblanza de los autores, etapa de corrección; hasta la revisión final y puesta en valor de la obra.

Reflexiona sobre el libro inédito titulado Álbum, de la escritora Melissa Ghezzi (Lima, 1975). Esta pieza es un álbum de boda en donde los protagonistas, a manera de collage y cronológicamente, han ido coleccionando todo aquello que es representativo en su historia de amor hasta llegar a la fantasía de una boda, que les ha sido negada por su condición no heterosexual. Es así que este libro-objeto problematiza la negación del derecho al matrimonio igualitario y ficcionaliza alrededor de la “fantasía de boda perfecta” como construcción social. Para esta propuesta que parte de la poesía documental, se basa en noticias, documentos, astrología, matemáticas, lógica, objetos, juegos, dibujos, telas, cartas, planos, entre otros. La mayor relevancia que tiene la tesis es de corte ideológico. Desde nuestra posición poética y creativa, Álbum y su reflexión cuestionan la fantasía y los mitos que se generan en torno al ritual de la boda como momento culmen de toda historia de amor, estrechando las posibilidades de convivencia en las relaciones amorosas. Así como este rito, la sociedad ha instituido una serie de prácticas y de tradiciones que, lejos de abrir las posibilidades a ser más felices y conscientes, muchas veces, las contraen. Quien no forma parte de este conjunto de personas es marginado por la sociedad, lo cual constituye un problema latente que debería ser visibilizado para suplir los vacíos que la ley y los mecanismos de poder han propuesto como únicos. Por ello, la tesis El proceso creativo en el libro-objeto Álbum se convierte en una herramienta simbólica en la construcción del análisis literario desde la perspectiva de género, de esa nueva realidad que la sociedad se niega a afrontar y que, a partir de su valor estético y lúdico, puede ser un canal de transmisión de una verdad indisoluble.
