Testo completoThe notion of substantial denial of justice is problematic because it assumes the recognition of the international responsibility of the State in its judicial national sovereign decisions and thus the review, by an international jurisdiction, of the discretionary application of internal law by national judicial authorities. Attached to the notion of denial of justice in customary law, and historically linked to a fairly large and controversial perception of the protection that is required from States to foreigners on their territories, the notion of substantial denial of justice must still assert its influence in international conventional law, not only in the field of international investment protection but also, and foremost, in the area of human rights protection, because the stakes in that field are particularly important and the questions they raise are more relevant. Besides the study of the customary notion and its assertion as a form of denial of justice, the main point of this study is to highlight the existence of a general and subjective right to reasonable judgment, of which the definition allows to point out the limits of the normative power that the implementation of a standard provides to an international judge when he is called upon to review the internal regularity of national judgments
Hubner, Pascal. "Du déni à l'envi(e), patrimoine et tourisme à Marseille". Aix-Marseille 3, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010AIX32007.
Testo completoMarseilles is 2600 years old but seems to have preserved only a few traces of its rich past and in any case is not known as a city with a rich heritage; however we should not conclude that its heritage is poor but rather ignored. Certainly, the City was marked by a restless history, but, what makes it very specific is definitely its pure disinterest for grand and monumental architecture, until the middle of the nineteenth century, and thereafter, its negligence and lack of attention towards its architectural heritage of which it did not completely become aware of the value. The peculiarities of this harbour City, for a long period, wholly devoted to the trade and the raw material transformation, explain this situation, so as its broad propensity to be opposed to any kind of tourist development. Tourism did not develop properly in Marseilles mainly due to the City profile considered not being very advantageous for its expansion, but also because of the Natives who did not make it easier in practice the least to facilitate this activity. Moreover the bad reputation and supposed absence of heritage and monuments were getting the situation even worse. Nevertheless, after a quarter of a century of crisis, the Phocean City, for these last ten years, has frankly reversed the tendency: Attractive, Marseilles sets up henceforth as a tourist capital; but, if its monuments and old Quarters are definitely valuated and put more and more in the lights, Marseilles does not seem to found its hopes like most of the western cities with a tourism based on its heritage. But Marseilles is on the eve of an exceptional event, which can be an opportunity to fully reconcile heritage and tourism. .
Quérini, Nicolas. "De la connaissance de soi au devenir soi : Platon-Nietzsche". Thesis, Strasbourg, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020STRAC019.
Testo completoWhile criticizing the Western morality anchored, according to him, in the Delphic sentence “Know yourself”, Nietzsche develops for his part an imperative which is, in our opinion, the natural and necessary extension of the self-knowledge. It is, therefore, from the injunction to become oneself that he operates the criticism of morality itself resulting from the invitation to self-knowledge. It is not, however, a question of reducing the Nietzsche an ethics of becoming-self to the way in which one can understand this syntagm in Plato. The use that Nietzsche proposes of it is indeed, in our opinion, quite singular. It cannot be denied, however, that it also did not come out of nothing and that Nietzsche first draws lessons from Pindar, who reinterprets himself the Delphic sentence, when he writes “Becomeas you have learned to know youself”. We therefore think that Nietzsche recovers Pindar’s formula beyond Plato, to criticize the latter and, through him, the whole philosophy which made self knowledge the departure of ethics. But we would therefore also try to do justice to Plato, since his philosophy actually frees the possibility of becoming ourself

Testo completoThis thesis traces the steps of creating a projective device for exploring the self-archaic of an adult subject. Its development is the result of several former studies from various groups: adult subjects with no pathology recognized, young psychotic adults and/or borderlines, and adult paraplegic subjects. The device created for this research has evolved into an exploration and mediation tool used for many years as part of my therapeutic group of patients, mostly suffering from identity narcissistic disorders.Photographs of space, mostly taken by the CNRS or NASA with different telescopes, are used a carrier. With these photographs, the visual impact is undeniable. "What does the Universe mean to you?": The use of photographs of various celestial objects as projective medium to respond to a latent question about subjectivity, mobilizes thinking in images and comes to question the sense of self, archaic and current. The photographs offer a representation of native experiences, cosmic metaphors already presented in the psychoanalytic literature (Anzieu and formal signifiers, Aulagnier and the black hole of the psyche... These favor an imaged scene of early interactions. The EPSA device is an "attractor" seeking the projection of an "uncreated" image, an experience in default of symbolization. The EPSA malleability allows the patient to put into shape the uncreated, to tell the story of what he does not know of himself and that haunts him. The subject projects into the EPSA a psychic atmosphere, a trace of an emerging self with an operation that is sometimes problematic, in which appears "processes" of transformation.EPSA explores the reflexive capacities of the subject: the subject ability to be able to develop or not an aesthetic conflict, management and expression of conflict. It is also explores the ability to "reason" emotionally, to be in touch with his emotions, to experience them, to feel oneself, to see oneself, and "to express" his emotions (Three "degrees" of symbolization). The maturity of the archaic self and its expression (emotional maturity of the sense of self) can be defined as the tolerance and acceptance of affects, emotions, and feelings... caused by conflicts to think about oneself. In this way, the subject avoids being "overwhelmed" emotionally and inhibition. The mental and verbal elaboration of conflicts provides for sharing and communication with others.EPSA allows us to observe in adults the relationship in the early stages of development disorders: treatment of affect, early interactions, and disorders due to deficiencies in the tuning... EPSA is an exploration of an important tool in the construction of subjectivity processes, and refines our clinical look on narcissistic identity disorders, borderline condition, and disease of addiction...The EPSA device, which proposes the patient to imagine his impressions, enables the patient to put words to his thoughts. It is a creative space in which we found and create. A symbolizing device which encourages sharing and meeting. It is an "objeu", a therapeutic carrier. Finally, EPSA is a mirror of oneself, and also a tool of "transformation" of symbolization

Testo completoMy thesis is based on numerous clinical reports of women under analysis, and purports to show certain forms of denial for a female sexual life in the Middle East. First, we explore and present current psychoanalytic concepts and theories on the sexual life of women, either in the East or in the West. Second, we study these clinical reports in light of what we have found in literary tales, in sociological research, and in the literature on psychoanalysis, and we try to answer the following question: Why do women, who have the same family, socio-cultural and economic profiles, and who we can can call (apparently) modern, show similar failures in what regards their simple sexual lives? Hence the title of our research is: The categories of denial of sexuality for women in the Middle East
Bernier, Philippe. "La formation des maîtres à l'épreuve de la violence : Déni institutionnel et professionalité". Paris 10, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010PA100040.
Testo completoThe main question of this thesis could be put into these words : can violence at school be considered as the result of a lack in teachers's training ? Therefore we have analyzed the different programm contents both in initial and adult training, proposed by "IUFM" (Teacher-training colleges) but also by academic training curricula. This analysis has been cross-checked with interviews with primary school teachers regarding their relation to violence and to their own training. This confrontation has shown, in systems and in speeches, a series of anthropological lacks regarding the educational relation. So we propose the hypothesis of an "institutional denial" process regarding these dimensions, since it's their very reality which is put aside. Therefore, the construction of an "aware professionalism" happens through a training which would include these dimensions, as some experiments we will describe later can show us. This thesis is composed of three parts. The first one questions violence from a multi-disciplinary point of view of definition, then suggests an interpretation of some acts of violence as institutional "analysers". The report on an instrumental act of violence will lead us to approach the issue of teachers' training about violence in the second part. The denied anthropological dimensions will be unfolded in this part. We will extend the "charges against training" to the different "formative moments" one teacher may experience in the exercice of his/her duties. This leads us, in the third part, to suggest an approach to the training under the "pathematic training" syntagm, by inspiring us from institutional methods (OURY movement)

Testo completoThe existence of denial of responsibility as a mode of dissonance reduction were explored in seven experiments. Six experiments tested the effects of contextual factors (the order of presentation of the two modes of reduction, delayed assessment) on the use of the modes of reduction, in particular the denial of responsibility. The seventh experiment tested and supported the hypothesis that denial of responsibility reduces the negative affective state induced by dissonance. The mechanism of denial of responsibility in dissonance reduction is discussed

Testo completoThis thesis, which fits in the psychoanalytically-oriented clinical field of Éducationand training sciences, proposes to analyze the ways in which the pupil-self unwittingly influences the teacher in his or her professional practice. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is devoted to the construction of the research object. In particular, the researcher explores the concepts of pupil-self and teacher-self. The second part is devoted to the theoretical framework within which this research is embedded. In particular, the researcher describes his encounter with psychoanalytic knowledge, and then explores the question of the « scientificity » of the approach in all its singular and specific aspects. The theoretical framework thus established makes it possible to clarify the relationship between the researcher and his object-subject of research, and to show how the singular construction of his relationship to knowledge expresses itself unbeknownst to him in his professional practice. The third part presents the methodology used for data collection and analysis, i.e. the practice analysis groups, the subsequent notes, and the work in a supervision group, which, among other things, enables the elaboration of counter-transference.Using situations from groups of professionnel practices analysis groups that the researcher has led, he reports on the work of elaboration that underlies the psychoanalytically-oriented clinical approach, in order to perceive how the pupil-self unconsciously expresses itself in the teachers or trainers practices. The fourth part is devoted to a clinical research interview with a secondary school history-geography teacher. Using the analyzed material, the researcher examines the ways in which her pupil-self guides her professional practice and pedagogical choices. In the fifth and final part, the concepts that emerged during the research are explored in greater depth to thoroughly underpin the analyses, as well as to propose some perspectives for teacher training and research

Testo completoLiterature and psychoanalysis hold together links so inevitable as enigmatic writers. Freud was the first to show and illustrate how the writing process could make understand the psychoanalytic facts and their mechanisms He learned a lot from artistic practices, particularly in literature; and after him, the use of literature allowed the identification of issues in the clinical field, which were likely to be then transferred to the medical practice. From their side, the writers have taken the psychoanalytic concepts and approaches to enrich and feed their perpetual quest for an always-greater self-knowledge. Most have even used writing as a weapon against death. It seemed interesting to us to test some artworks in terms of analytical thinking. Therefore the following essay asks the question on what motivates an individual to get involved in writing, where does the desire, often a matter of survival, come from, and how does he proceed to achieve that. If writing can occasionally organize the analytic discourse, it is undeniable that it has profoundly affected the artistic codes, and in particular in the field of literature. Writing process, through mobilization of unconscious processes and resonances it leaves, enables, by way of its own, to go to the sources of the unconscious. It is in the development of new forms of interest that the studied writers were able to shape, identify which of their identity aspects was lacking in their own understanding of reality
Cantin, Serge. "Le déni marxien du politique et sa répétition dans le "Marx" de Michel Henry". Montpellier 3, 1988. http://www.theses.fr/1988MON30016.
Testo completoAlthough the sensitive question of a connection between totalitarian marxism and marx's own thought is a starting point for this study, the author doesn't tackle it directly, but rather shows how its investigation, with just a few exceptions, has put up with an attitude which is deeply rooted in our tradition of political writing. Among those remarkable exceptions stands out hannah arendt, whose position the author fully endorses, namely when she states that "the greater part of political philosophy could easily be interpreted as a series of essays which try to discover theoretical foundations and practical means for a permanent escape from politics". The thesis propounded in this study is that this quasi psychoanalytic diagnosis of the western tradition of political thinking can be applied as well to marx himself as to his most profound living exegete. The three parts of the study hinge on a critical scrutiny of the method and postulates which go into the making of michel henry's marx (gallimard 1976). However debatable may be m. Henry's dichotomous and manicheic approach (an absolute heterogeneity between marx and marxism), however shaky may be the link between henry's own philosophy of life and the marxian philosophy of labor, the most important objective of the present thesis is to make evident their common denial of politics and to show how this denial rests on a need to reduce to unity and identity the manifold plurality and otherness of the human predicament in the world, this need being and obsession of the philoso

Testo completoTime disorders in schizophrenia have been the subject of numerous clinical descriptions, particularly from the psychiatric phenomenology. The latter considers time more as a container than a content of perception that is to say an essential component of subjective experience: consciousness is indeed structured in time. Husserl describes a tripartite structure of time consciousness, which is seen as an automatic integration of the past, the present, and the future. He gives the example of music. When we listen to a melody, we are conscious of the present note but still have the previous note in mind (“retention”) and usually anticipate the note to come. These automatic processes determine in this model the subject's ability to forge a sense of familiarity with his own experience, lived as stable and continuous. One of phenomenological models of schizophrenic disorders postulated a breakdown of the temporal structure of consciousness, which consequently induces disturbances of subjective experience at its most basic level (the level of minimal self) and determines a subject lived strangeness to respect of his own experience. These descriptive approaches, however, are limited by the extent that it is difficult to describe temporality of others by introspective method. Thus, exploring process of temporality by cognitive sciences could help to overcome these limitations. Recent work focusing on the alteration of simultaneity judgments (which does not seem to sign a merger events to an implicit and automatic level) and basic temporal predictive processes (however measured at the scale of a millisecond) in schizophrenic disorders and the links it is possible to foresee with predictive coding theory provides a very encouraging first set of data on the way to a cognitive understanding of schizophrenic time. The objective of our work was to validate the one hand the hypothesis of dissociation between conscious and automatic discrimination of events in time, using paradigms assessing the temporal constraints of multisensory integration (Study 1). On the other hand, we studied directly implicit time prediction with a dedicated paradigm (in this case, the temporal orientation task, Study 2). We also analyzed the automatic responses of subjects in an event discrimination task in time to check what patients can and can not predict (Study 3). We also explore the hypothesis of a link between temporal and minimal self by looking for correlations between performance

Testo completoTwo research studies are described in this thesis. The first was concerned with the self-image and the self-esteem school age children. The second examined the influence of the teacher's representation of a "good pupil" on his/her evaluation of different areas of competence in the child. The population of this research is composed of 180 children for the first study. For the second one there are 134 children and 9 teachers from an elementary school in Toulouse. We used the Perceived competence scale of children (PCSC), a structured interview, and a thematic composition with children to evaluate self-image and self-esteem. The children's scholastic achievement was determined by an unstructured interview. Teachers evaluated children's competence with a questionnaire. The results show that boys evaluate themselves more positively than girls and most particularly with regard to cognitive and physical competence. This pattern was true as much for the younger children as by the older. The responses of the children in defining their self-image also varied according to age and sex. Teachers showed a tendency to evaluate the competencies of the boys more positively. This evaluation was particularly marked with scholastic competence. Finally, our results showed that, in general, teachers are more positive about to the children of opposite sex. Masters are more negative than mistresses in their evaluation of the pupils. The results indicate that teacher evaluation plays an important part in determining the child's perception of him/herself. It is also possible that the child's level of self-esteem influences the manner of which they are perceived by teachers. This last question remains open

Testo completoAt present, belated discoveries of pregnancy are subject to an attempt at a scientific theorisation and a standardisation under the generic concept of denial of pregnancy, a concept designating a symptom or a mechanism of defence, or both. However, psychoanalytic theory and the clinic lead us to consider that the concept of belated discovery of pregnancy could relate to something other than a denial of pregnancy. This research is therefore based on the hypothesis that the belated discovery of pregnancy is not limited to the mechanism of defence of denial of pregnancy but could be a symptom which may hide a de-negation, a denial or a foreclosure of pregnancy. Denial of pregnancy would not be a symptom but rather a mechanism of defence linked to a specific psychological positioning in relation to pregnancy, a perverse position, in the psychoanalytical sense of the term. A woman in a neurotic position in relation to this problematic would have recourse to a de-negation of pregnancy, and a woman with a psychotic position would have recourse to foreclosure. This formulation presumes the hypothesis of the existence of feminine perversion. Following an analysis of the history and current literature concerning belated discoveries of pregnancy, the study of the psychoanalytic concepts of de-negation, denial and foreclosure (as much in their Freudian and Lacanian conceptualisations as those of other contemporary psychoanalysts) have enabled me to apprehend and refine this research hypothesis based on a

Testo completoThe access to justice is fundamental and general. It is conceived as necessary for the rule of law. This debt of justice fall on the State that must ensure the effective and material access for all litigants. In this perspective, the international arbitration, a private justice, arise potential conflict of jurisdictions. If the arbitral justice must be preserved, it is only if it is effective. But the negative aspect of the principle of “compétence-compétence” in French law creates a situation of denial of economical justice in the case of an impecunious litigant (i.e. weaker part). The part can neather resorts to arbitration, for lack of sufficient funds, and to state courts, that refuse to jugde the litigation. Therefore, this negative effect must be rejected. The French jurisdiction will be responsible for the denial of justice when it is competent in judging international litigation. In this case, the contract can be void and can not be applied. However, in order to preserve the contractual intent expressed in the arbitration agreement, it is possible to rely on the duty of collaboration between the litigants in order to implement the responsibility of the stronger part. The use of contractual liability thus ensures, at one hand, the access to justice with respect to the arbitration agreement, and on the other hand, that the invoker’s part is sanctioned if it raised improperly the impecuniosity state

Testo completoThe goal of Distributed Denial of Service attacks (DDoS) is to prevent legitimate users from using a service. The availability of the service is attacked by sending altered packets to the victim. These packets either consume a large part of networks bandwidth, or create an artificial consumption of victim’s key resources such as memory or CPU. DDoS’ filtering is still an important problem for network operators since illegitimate traffics look like legitimate traffics. The discrimination of both classes of traffics is a hard task. Moreover DDoS victims are not limited to end users (e. G. Web server). The network is likely to be attacked itself. The approach presented in this thesis is pragmatic. Firstly it seeks to control dynamic and distributed aspects of DDoS. Secondly it looks for protecting legitimate traffics and the network against collateral damages. Thus we propose a distributed infrastructure of defense based on nodes dedicated to the analysis and the filtering of the illegitimate traffic. Each node is associated with one POP router or interconnection router in order to facilitate its integration into the network. These nodes introduce the required programmability through open interfaces. The programmability offers applicative level packets processing, and thus treatments without collateral damages. A prototype has been developed. It validates our concepts

Testo completoThis concept arises when an individual attempts to harm himself. Although the principle of Responsibility towards oneself is not present in the French substantive law, a kind of reflexive responsibility can be observed in its different legal mechanisms that deal with responsibility. From ad hoc and restricted applications, the manifestations of responsibility towards oneself are however of a wide range. They reflect the hesitations in the French law between two contradictory approaches: preserving individual freedom and protecting the individual against himself. After concrete cases where this concept was interpreted are presented, questions are raised and a grid is proposed to analyze responsibility towards oneself in the French law. The search of criteria and foundations that are common to the different forms of this responsibility reveals a redefinition of the fault that requires a sanction of this self-damage. As a conclusion to our proof, this fault against oneself seems to rest on a duty to care to oneself

Testo completoThis research is a reflection on the musical fact, its emergence, its inner workings and its foundation. How and why does man create and play music? This work delimits a particular space in it threefold dimension: spatial, historical, and political. It is the case of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, and Martinique, former New World colonies, which are current French departments located in America, and which also became European ultra-peripheral regions. Methodologically, the case study is privileged. The fortuitous emergence of a funeral Bélia during Aimé Césaire's national funeral -is the starting point from which was approached the mechanism of music creation andconstruction of repertoires in French West Indies and Guiana. The tension between musical elaboration and its assessment is the main issue of our research. This context makes it possible to check the hypothesis of filiation, exchanges which govern the relations between material, mechanism of musics creation, and circumstantial human links. The hierarchy of those links and of the functions of the repertoires includes the creation of music. Deniai behaviors represent the main determinant for establishing status linked to corpus in order to institute practices. The obvious result of our work emphasizes an invention Lawonn or trialectical device: musical material in bipolarity/musical Assembly/Thought or Speech to form repertoires in reply to recurrent occasions or circumstances. Generally, the result is a phenomenon of transformation of thinking about the construction and the evolution of human links. It can be radical and become formalized in an inversion of those links, going beyond functions, practices. In our case, it involves Poetry, Anthropology, humanism, music and nationalism. The obvious search for acknowledgement resulting from the denial reveals an assertion. That assertion shows a demonstration of humanity objectivized by knowledge and sublimated by the poetic work. In this context, music in French overseas departments in America is an attribute of human existence

To unveil structural framework based upon a systemic concept of personality. The theory of inter-structuring process between the subject and the institutions underlies the approach. We chose to emphaze the issue of projet formation while focusing on two components of personality : identity (as related to self-esteem) and social competence. Identity, considered as a sub-systm of personality, operates through lifetime in relation to personal grouth. We define social competence using an inter-personal problem-solving model. The study has been conducted among youths of fourteen to sixteen years of age. The measuring instruments included : a self-esteem scale, a test of social-competence, a test designed to uncover project strategies and a questionaire geared toward scheduling issues, age and projet references. Results of the analysis show that high self-esteem is associated with a better handling of time (projects more sophisticated and more involving, broader perspectives). Morewer, the study demonstrates that high social competence conditions the choice for structured project strategies

Testo completoDenials or negations of pregnancy are still mis-interpreted phenomena. They have been reported since ages, yet few explainations have been found to better understand them. Here we compare, through projective methodology (Rorschach and TAT), a group of women who went through a pregnancy denial to a group of standard primipare mothers in the post-natal period. Psychic mecanisms, body representation, sexual representation and loss treatment have been studied. Apart from the great diversity of psychical organisation, some women revealed more psychopathological disorders than standard primipare mother. Moreover, fragile body representations as well as low capacity of expresion of libidinal pulsions and difficulties in loss treatment appear more frequently in the first group. Similarities in the psychological patterns of women who denied their pregnancy have also been found. More studies are still needed to evaluate if these results are only due to pregnancy denial or if the post-natal state has a specific influence on the psychology of these young mothers

Testo completoThis thesis concerns the digital practices and uses of self-quantification. The quantified-self movement first appeared in 2007 in Silicon Valley, but in a few years these practices have evolved rapidly to converge on digital health technologies. If it appears from the scientific and academic literature, that they constitute a contemporary form of biopower (Lupton, 2016) and that they carry many hopes in the field of health, they are however not questioned, neither from the perspective of the anthropological changes they introduce in the coupling between body and physiological digital data (Simondon, 1958, Boullier, 2011; Sadin, 2013), nor from the self-quantification technologies models point of view mainly based on behaviorist approaches, favoring persuasion rather than meaning. This lack of thinking raises many ethical questions about how to design a technology, especially when it comes to the health of individuals (Lupton, 2013; 2016).In this perspective, this thesis pursuit a dual purpose. The first is to provide a comprehensive perspective on the digital self-quantification practices. The second objective relates to the instrumentation of these new technological artifacts and to their modeling. Testo completoThe Internet has ultimately become, the support for all types of network services which are numerously increasing, interacting and thereby introducing an important dimension of complexity. In addition, they introduce vulnerabilities due to their location and implementation. Indeed, it promotes more covetousness and attacks. In this context, denial of service attacks are among the most popular ones and they are relatively easy to implement. Attack streams are simultaneously generated from several attack machines that are spread all over the Internet and, therefore, making cooperation among a large number of equipment. Such attacks have important economic consequences due to their effects. Many solutions have been proposed to solve this problem, but they are still incomplete because of economical and technical reasons and also for cooperation between different operators of the Internet. Our objective, in this context, is to respond by a solution that is based a distributed architecture of cooperative agents in order to detect intrusions and attacks. The agents are implemented on all the edge routers in an ISP domain. The attack detection is carried out by sharing agents' knowledge about traffic. For an efficient routing algorithm among agents we used a peer-to-peer architecture. This solution has been validated concretely over a real network, integrating the well-known Snort sensor in our intelligent agents and using Pastry as a peer-to-peer protocol for routing information among agents

Păcurar-Leroux, Simona. "Giuseppe Berto et l'écriture de soi". Paris 3, 2003. http://www.theses.fr/2003PA030120.
Testo completoAfter the Second World War, the commitment of Italian authors to the public good put at a disadvantage autobiography and its private nature. It explains why the writer Giuseppe Berto had to develop various ways of expressing himself (diary, autobiographical novel. . . ) in order to fulfil his own writing needs as well as audience expectations. The text analysis of Il male oscuro as an analytical account is coupled with the study of the links between Berto and psychoanalysis (his theorapeutical process, his theoretical readings on the subject) and the situation of Il male oscuro among works influenced by psychoanalysis, from Svevo to Camon. With La cosa buffa, Berto found other new ways of the self-reflexive writing (narrative voice, reading convention, titles' fonctions). The diachronic analysis of the movement of the writing in the text and the study of documents with respect to the novel illustrate the self-reflexive writing, its genesis and its aims. The way Berto went from a first period of "collective" writing, linked to realism but rich of personal elements, to a writing he calls altruistic or, at least, humanistic, leads to show the whole range of Berto's writing and his originality in Italian literature

Testo completoBy the event of the loss of one, the loss of the intimacy of one, the self leash-being-taken according to the requirements of a native abnegation or renunciation in what made begin in her the immoderation, the nonlimit and the increasing of what has already begun in her since her birth. So, any resemblance holds in her its difference, any appropriation exposes it self to a change, any power breaks, any pride alienates and any narcissism suffocate or suppresses under the charm of its own beauty. And because the limit of one "at home" is by definition non-familiar, the paradox of the borders, so produced, will distort (alter) at least the power to be one and even the meaning of an "at home" ontological. From then on, get lost it is to let the self-abnegation make the native come in itself, it is to be originally according to the arrival of the event of its birth, of the resumption of the donation native of one. Only the arrival of what creates the self originally makes possible to let-be-abandoned by one. Only the arrival of Love makes possible the native donation as the self-abnegation

Testo completoAt this time of development and promotion of corporal techniques intended to free the body and to allow the individual to affirm himself, radical corporal transformations appear on the medical scene. The request for a total facial transformation made by two young men met during a plastic surgery consultation indicates a scopic trauma linked to the absence of the maternal eye as a loving eye. The face "never a part of me" is a bad object which incarnates self-hatred in the form of an impossibility of the subject to see himself peacefully other than trough an imaginary double. The question as authorising the use of surgery, fruit of the desunion of instincts, requires a dialogue as to the admission of such a request. These attest to a physical imaginary that turns the body into an object of passion, at times object of hatred, at times object of pleasure. The body, seen as an instance of healing, becomes an item produced in evidence which during an lengthy preliminary is first accused then repaired: a way of cutting into reality instead of cutting into the symbolic. This novel method of relying on the body, seen from its appearance, articulates which the medical proposal which offers to treat the deficient which a physical object on which fantasy and imaginary fulfilment or plenitude, proper to our modernity, anchor

Testo completoIn this study, self appropriation is defined firstly as the movement by which an individual participates in establishing his social identity starting from a situation of dependency (at the primary stage of socialization, and taking into consideration the 'social roles' he plays). Secondly, it is defined as the movement by which individuals consider some symbolic areas (cafe, parish, country, region, tradition, language) as the extension of their selves, the place in which they can express their specificity, and consequently try to establish their own territory

Testo completoIn this dissertation, we have tried to explain our views on the problem of drug-addiction through the various notions of control: real self control, the belief in self control and the internality (locus of control, atribution) in a drug-addict. This work has been done through theoretical data and in a specific clinical context, in which drug-addiction means how to deal the withdrawal symptoms. The work consists in a general survey of drug-addiction and its various aspects: the drug-addict, drug, psychopathology and the etiology in relationship with this problem. We have approached the following research lines: drug addiction and self control, the belief in self control and the narcissistic belief or self-esteeming in the drug-addict, together with the problems of self control and how to deal with the lack of self-control always present in a drug-addict especially in one undergoing withdrawal symptoms. Our purpose was to understand why and how an individual resorts to drug and to observe the level of effective self-control and its variations in the drug addict, whether he has taken drug or under withdrawal symptoms tand. Thus we wanted to see the signs of narcissistic belief or self-esteeming in a drug-addict. The problematic of self control and the environment for the drug-addict are considered by us as very important and we mean to examine those processes possibly in a pathological contest, such as the self control pathology which will lead us to the conclusion that drug addiction is a lack of self-control. The level of self control in a drug addict or any drug consumer varies according to the drug used and to the dosage used, as well as to the basic structure of a personality, which is always influenced by social and environmental factors. Moreover in drug addiction, the essential variations of self control depend on the drug addiction itself and on the withdrawal symptoms

Testo completoSilicon On Insulator technology (SOI) presents a considerable interest for the micro-electronics because it gradually replaces bulk silicon technology. These last years, new concepts of structures and new manufacturing units allowed a reduction in the cost of SOI substrates, making this technology competitive for high speed and low power CMOS devices. The aim of this thesis is the investigation of Y-MOS (pseudo-MOSFET) and Hg-FET, two techniques very suitable to compare the quality and the electric parameters of various SOI structures. The second objective is to seek solution for improving the thermal dissipation through the buried oxide, in order to enhance of the performances of the SOI transistors while avoiding an increase in the operating temperature. The first chapter reminds the main SOI wafer processing techniques as well as the differences between SOI and bulk silicon. We present, in the second chapter, the electrical techniques of characterization (Y-MOS and Hg-FET) used for this works. The analysis of the measurement errors, the preparation of the samples and the correlation between Y-MOS and Hg-FET are also included. The third chapter is devoted to the study of the innovating substrates. We present results of characterization, modelling and simulation for ultra-thin silicon films. We also introduce the characterization of ultra-thin BOX and silicon on quartz (SOQ). The fourth chapter is related to the integration of high thermal conductivity materials for SOI MOSFET transistors. Numerical simulations reveal the thermal and electrical benefit when the buried oxide material is changed

Testo completoThe aim of this work is the study of ultra-thin silicon film MOS/SOI transistors with multi-gate architecture. This study includes a thorough electrical characterization and an analytical modeling carried out using a new program, developed during this work, "CAPES". This program, based on the Poisson-Schrodinger coupling equations, takes into account the quantum confinement effect and their multidimensional impact. A modified version of Hänsch method is proposed and the integration in CAPES of the non bands parabolicity shows the need for considering this effect for Si films thinner than 5nm. Ln addition, a detailed study on the interfaces coupling effects in fully-depleted and double-gate MOS/SOI transistors is achieved. The impact of the gate misalignement in DG devices is also analysed Finally, thanks to a new extraction method, the transport properties of the various channels of the FinFETs transistors are compared
