This study aims to draw and discuss parallels between the humour of kyōgen that is depicted in the play The Delicious Poison, and theories about humour as a behavioural mechanism.  Using existing theories about humour and Japanese dramatic aesthetics as a foundation, the research commences from the following questions: Based on the text and the stage directions, what possibilities do kyōgen actors in the play The Delicious Poison have to use dramaturgic comic devices to cause a humorous reaction among the audience? What are these devices and why do they work the way they do, theoretically? Based on a collection of qualitative data from both primary and secondary sources, the script of The Delicious Poison was translated and analysed using the theories presented. It was found that the most prominent humour devices used in the play were those of doxa (recognition or prior knowledge), exaggeration, and comprehension-elaboration (element of surprise), along with the escalating structural principle of jo-ha-kyū (introduction, development, climax).  Future research including analysis of kyōgen plays of other genres, is however needed to confirm the correct use of the theories and the findings.
Denna studie syftar till att dra och diskutera paralleller mellan den humor som uppstår i kyōgenpjäsen The Delicious Poison, och teori om humor som en beteendemekanism. Genom att använda existerande teorier om humor och japansk dramaestetik som grund, har studien utgått från följande frågor: Med manus och scenhänvisningar som utgångspunkt, vilka möjligheter har kyōgenskådespelare i pjäsen The Delicious Poison att använda sig av dramatiska komikgrepp för att framkalla en humorreaktion från åskådarna? Vilka är dessa komikgrepp och hur fungerar de teoretiskt sett? Av analysen framkom det att de mest framträdande komikgreppen som används i pjäsen är doxa (igenkänning och föreliggande kunskap), överdrift och uppskattning-elaboreringsmodellen, samt den eskalerande strukturella principen jo-ha-kyū (introduktion, utveckling, klimax). Det skulle emellertid vara nödvändigt med framtida studier inkluderande analys av kyōgenpjäser av andra genrer, för att bekräfta kredibiliteten hos de teorier som använts och de resultat som framkommit.
拙稿では狂言の『附子』で発現するユーモアと態度的な機構としてのユーモアについて理論との類似点を比較し、論議を行う。存在している理論及び日本の伝統的な演劇美学を使用し、研究は以下の問題から開始する： 台本とト書きをもとにして、狂言の『附子』に登場する役者は演劇的なお笑い工夫でユーモア反応を引き起こす可能性はどこで表れるのか。 この工夫はどこでなされて、なぜ理論的に機構が働くのか。 一次資料と二次資料から集めた定性データをもとにして現れた理論を使用して、「附子」の台本は翻訳され、分析された。分析から明らかになった結果によるとユーモア工夫はドクサ（認める事）、誇張、理解力詳述モデル（意外性）である。その他、序破急という日本の伝統文化の構造的な概念も重要である。今後の研究に関しては、理論や分かった結果を確認するため、他種の狂言を分析する必要がある。

Abstract (sommario):
In order to reach these specific structural features, it was developed during the present work a processing method to obtain the macroporous structure by foaming different compositions of sol-gel derived bioactive glasses solution, system CaO-P2O5-SiO2, with the addition of surfactants. It was evaluated structures with different chemical composition and temperatures of heat treatment. In vitro bioactivity and dissolution tests were conducted. The characterization results of the structures after the stabilization heat treatment were discussed. The network of the scaffolds was divided in two levels, macroporous and mesoporous. Physical characterization of the samples consisted of microstructural observation, pore size and textural analysis. For this the mercury porosimetry, scanning electron microscopy, image analysis by software Quantikov and nitrogen adsorption were performed. The porosity were calculated from Archimedes´ technique and compared with porosity analyzed by mercury porosimetry. Complementary analysis of the materials was got from Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction and Inductive Coupled Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP), for dissolution evaluating. In addition, it was shown some results of the cell culture. After thermal treatment at the 700ºC for 4h, the material remained amorphous and some crystallization could be observed for samples treated at 800ºC and 900ºC, in such case some peaks of the crystalline phases Wollastonite, Bredigite and Nagelschimidtite were identified. The mesoporous presented pore size distribution ranging from 10 to 30nm and a specific surface area of 60-170m2/g at 700ºC, varying with glass compositions. For higher temperatures of stabilization this value was huge smaller, 3-7m2/g with small pore volumes, this can be an indication of the high densification of the structures. Pore diameters were in the range of 70-500m for the macroporous network. It was observed from the in vitro tests and FTIR analysis that the structures developed in this work were bioactivies.
Para conseguir características estruturais apropriadas à engenharia de tecido, desenvolveu-se nesse trabalho um método de obtenção de matrizes macroporosas a partir da formação de espumas em solução sol-gel de vidro bioativo, sistema CaO-P2O5-SiO2, com adição de surfactantes. Variou-se a composição química do material base das estruturas e a temperatura de tratamento térmico. Testes de bioatividade in vitro e dissolução das estruturas de diferentes composições e tratadas em diferentes temperaturas de estabilização foram realizados. Discutiu-se a caracterização das estruturas, após tratamento térmico, dividindos-a em dois níveis de distribuição de tamanho de poros, macro e meso. Para isso foram realizadas análises de porosimetria de mercúrio, análise de imagem (software Quantikov) e adsorção de nitrogênio, complementando essas informações determinou-se ainda, a porosidade por técnica de Arquimedes. Foram realizadas também análises por difração de raios-X, espectroscopia de infra-vermelho por transformada de Fourier (FTIR) e espectrometria de emissão por plasma (ICP). Imagens de microscopia eletrônica de varredura (MEV) foram obtidas e utilizadas para observação qualitativa do aspecto geral das estruturas. Apresenta-se também alguns resultados preliminares de cultura de células do tecido ósseo. Os materiais das estruturas tratadas a 700ºC se apresentaram amorfos e alguns picos de fases cristalinas foram determinados para temperaturas mais altas de tratamento (800ºC e 900ºC). Os mesoporos apresentaram distribuição de tamanho de poros em torno de 10-30nm, variando com a composição em mol do vidro bioativo. O valor de área superficial analisado foi de 60-170m2/g, sendo que as amostras tratadas a temperaturas acima de 700°C apresentaram uma diferença significativa de área superficial e volume de poros indicando uma alta densificação da estrutura mesoporosa a partir dessa temperatura. A distribuição dos diâmetros de macroporos analisada variou na faixa de 70-500m. Os teste in vitro e a análise de FTIR indicaram que os vidros de diferentes composições foram bioativos.

Abstract (sommario):
This thesis examines patient generated health data in the context of healthcare services where information asymmetry traditionally enshrined the doctor as all-powerful and the patient as a passive recipient. Through vignette-led interviews and a clinical trial, the research highlights the role of this information in the co-created process of patient engagement, then demonstrates how it promotes healthcare self-determination and consumer empowerment. Patient generated health data aids diagnosis and management of health conditions, and provides significant emotional value for patients and their peer network. This information supports consumer-driven efficiencies, eliminating unnecessary treatments and therefore may be able to reduce the overall cost of healthcare services. This thesis recommends that healthcare providers implement solicited and unsolicited patient generated health data to increase service confidence, satisfaction and reduce switching behaviour.

KALA es un edulcorante natural, sin calorías, inocuo para el consumo de toda la familia. Está hecho a base de extracto del Monkfruit o “Fruta de los Monjes”, competencia directa de la tan reconocida estevia y eritritol fermentado. La combinación de ambos ingredientes lo hacen ser un producto con un grado de dulzor perfecto, que además no genera efectos secundarios y no deja aftertaste luego de ser consumido. KALA va dirigido al segmento de personas “Healthy”, jóvenes y adultos de la clase media, media alta y alta, que mantienen un estilo de vida saludable y buscan cuidar su salud mediante una alimentación sana basada en productos naturales los cuales aporten beneficios a su dieta diaria. El producto viene en 3 presentaciones: Cajas de 50 y 100 sobres con un precio de $4.70 y $6.50 respectivamente, bolsa de 235g con un precio de $8.50 y envase liquido de 50ml con un precio de $6.80. ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Throughout South Africa there has been a greater emphasis on township history in recent years. However little has been written about the townships of the Western Cape. This research about the history of Kaya Mandi is subsequently one of the first of its kind and provides unique insights into a world that has not garnered much attention. Due to the fact that there has been little research done on the subject, a considerable amount of information was gathered through archival research. Additionally, oral testimonies of individuals who, in some cases, have lived their entire lives in Kaya Mandi have been invaluable. Books, theses and articles were primarily used as guidelines to provide additional context and understanding within the greater picture of South African history. The only exception was the use of the master.s thesis, Bantoegesinne in Kaya Mandi, done by Cornelia Drotske in 1956 which provided information from that period. As a result of this research the history of Kaya Mandi may be regarded as much more complex then had previously been assumed. Kaya Mandi has not just been a passive location in the Western Cape subject to the whims of those in power. Instead, they struggled to maintain their culture and often their very existence. At times this meant a battle between the people and the local government and other times it meant a battle from within, between the different segments of Kaya Mandi itself. Researching the history of Kaya Mandi provided an understanding of how it came to be what it is today. It also gave a deeper comprehension of the current issues and situations facing the people. This is especially important for making informed decisions regarding necessary development and expansion. Overall Kaya Mandi is a microcosm of township life in the Western Cape and the current research has highlighted the complexity of these communities and the necessity for further research.
AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Oor die afgelope paar jaar is daar regoor Suid-Afrika groter klem op die geskiedenis van townships. Daar is egter min geskryf oor die townships van die Wes-Kaap. Hierdie tesis oor die geskiedenis van Kaya Mandi is gevolglik een van die eerstes van sy soort en bied 'n unieke insig in 'n wêreld wat nie voorheen veel aandag gekry het nie. As gevolg van die min navorsing oor die onderwerp, is 'n groot deel van die inligting ingesamel deur argivale navorsing. Daarbenewens was die mondelinge getuienisse van individue wat, in sommige gevalle, feitlik vanaf die begin van Kaya Mandi daar geleef het van onskatbare waarde. Boeke, tesisse, en artikels is hoofsaaklik gebruik as riglyne om bykomende konteks en begrip binne die groter prentjie van die Suid-Afrikaanse geskiedenis te verskaf. Social psychologists only recently started to examine the effects of both positive and negative intergroup contact on intergroup attitudes of minority groups. However, little is yet known about the joint and differential effects of these two forms of contact on immigrants’ adaptation. Basing on this, it was examined the joint and differential effects of positive and negative contact on immigrants' acculturation and adjustment in their host society across four studies. Study 1 and Study 2 investigated the joint effect of positive and negative contact on immigrants’ fear of being stereotyped, perceived symbolic threat, social avoidance, and anxiety in two different contexts (Italy and Turkey). Consistently across the samples, negative contact was a strong predictor of fear of being stereotyped, perceived symbolic threat, and social avoidance. Only in the Italian sample, where respondents reported negative contact experiences with native people to a greater extent, positive contact was not associated with reduced avoidance of them. Study 3 and Study 4 considered cross-sectionally and longitudinally other crucial aspects of the adaptation process, such as acculturation preferences and psychological adjustment of immigrants. Study 3 highlighted that positive contact strongly predicted positive outcomes (i.e., culture adoption and psychosocial well-being), whereas negative contact predicted negative outcomes (i.e., group discrimination and post-traumatic stress disorder). Study 4 displayed the role of negative contact as a stronger predictor of psychosocial well-being and culture maintenance over time. Overall, evidence highlighted the crucial role of both positive and negative intergroup contact, their interplay, and the underlying processes in shaping immigrants’ adaptation to their contexts.

La première partie analyse les théories : la doctrine sur le dochmiaque et les interprétations modernes, les témoignages sur les poèmes en responsion, le traitement, du 19ème siècle, de la liberté de responsion et d'autres interprétations récentes du phénomène ; le problème de le hiatus et de la brevis en longo dans le dochmiaque. Dans la seconde partie j'ai analysé les séquences dochmiacques strophiques dans les Perses, Sept contre Thèbes, Suppliantes, Agamemnon, Coephores, Eumenides, Promethé et les dochmiaques astrophiques de Pr. 425 ss. Et Cho. 961-964. Il y a enfin les Appendices avec l'index des responsions et des mots clés. Quant à la colométrie transmise, j'ai contrôlé sur microfilms ou au moyen de reproductions photographiques les principaux témoins manuscrits de l'Orestée : le Mediceus, les "protocliniens" et l'autographe de Demetrius Triclinius (T), couronnement de la recensio reconduite par le philologue sur Eschyle. Les Suppliantes et les Coephores sont conservées par un codex unicus. La triade byzantine est transmise par une centaine de manuscrits : j'en ai vu les plus significatifs (MTGFVIRaQL(K), pour les Sept, j'ai contrôlé les Perses sur MTGF, tandis que pour le Prométhé j'ai vu la colométrie du codex Mediceus, en étendant cependant aux autres manuscrits le contrôle dans un certain numéro de cas : du reste, pour les dochmiaques qui s'organisent généralement en structures plutôt compactes et uniformes, sinon en groupes olodochmiaques ("systèmes"), on peut s'en remettre à la vulgate colométrique, qui est souvent post-hermanienne
The first part analyzes theories : the ancient doctrine and modern interpretations about dochmiac : the testimonies on poems in responsion, the treatment form 19th century and so on of free responsions and other recent interpretations of this phenomenon : the problem of hiatus and brevis longo in dochmiacs. In the second part I analyzed strophic dochmiacs in the Persans, the Seven against Thebes, the Supplicants, Agamemnon, Coephores, Eumenides, Prometheus and the astrophic dochmiac of Pr. 425ff. And Cho. 961-964. Finally I made up two Appendixes with the index of responsions and that of the keywords. As far as colometry is concerned, I checked on microfilms or by means of digitally photographic reproductions the main manuscripts of the Oresteia : the Mediceus, the prototriclinians and Demetrius Triclinius's autograph (T), the crowning achievment of the recensio made by the philologue on Aeschylus. The Suppliants and the Coephores are transmitted by a codex unicus. The Byzantine triad is handed down by more than one hundred of manuscripts : I saw the most important (MTGFVIRaQLK) for the Seven : I hecked the Persians on MTGF, whereas for Prometheus I controlled the colometry of the Mediceus, but I extended my collation as to include other manuscripts in some cases, since dochmiacs are generally organized in compact structures ("systems"), so that we can quite confidently rely on vulgate colometry, which often got back to Godfried Hermann

Katja Altmann, Dipl.-Museologin, Objektleiterin Schloss Klippenstein in Radeberg seit 1. Januar 1993, Leiterin Museum Schloss Klippenstein. Mit dem Mut ihrer Jugend und auf der Suche nach einer ihrer Ausbildung als studierte Dipl. Museologin entsprechenden Tätigkeit, kam in der Nachwendezeit Katja Altmann per Einstellungsvertrag durch die Stadtverwaltung Radeberg als Objektleiterin auf Schloss Klippenstein, damals mehr eine Ruine als ein Schloss. Sie wollte eigentlich ein Museum leiten und war natürlich vollkommen ahnungslos, was da alles in den nächsten Jahren an unterschiedlichsten Aufgaben auf sie zukommen würde. Mit Antritt ihrer Tätigkeit war sie vorerst das „Mädchen für alles“, da sie immer im Schloss präsent und als Ansprechpartner erreichbar war. Das Schloss wurde zum „Ungeheuer Schloss Klippenstein“, sie erlebte mit großem Erschrecken und vielen schlaflosen Nächten ein modernes Märchen mit nicht enden wollenden Baumaßnahmen an der maroden Bausubstanz von Hauptburg und Vorburg, verstörenden Zustände vollgestopfter Nebengelasse, ständige Aus- und Umlagerungen von Museumsgut während der Sanierungsarbeiten, Sicherung wertvoller heimatkundlicher Exponate vor den immer wieder neu auftretenden Wassereinbrüchen durch undichte Dächer – all das waren keine leichte Aufgaben für die junge Frau, kostete viel Kraft. Sie hat es geschafft, unter ihrer Leitung entstand aus dem maroden Schloss ein Schmuckstück, das sich als ein Wahrzeichen unserer Stadt sehen lassen kann und das sie zu einem kulturellen Zentrum der Stadt und des Dresdner Umlandes erschaffen hat.

The purpose of the present study was to replicate Cervone's (2004) study, specifically for a work context. By focusing on the context of work, I believe that a "situationally-sensitive" nomothetic measure of personality for predicting job performance can be developed. My findings indicate that participants were able to identify self-relevant attributes in the context of work and then rate the relevance of each self-relevant attribute to work situations, such that the scores of the self-efficacy items related to those situations rated as relevant correspond with the self-relevant characteristics that were originally identified. Also, the data suggest that while there are several instances of idiosyncrasy in self-perception, there are also many commonalities in both the characteristics believed to be self-relevant and the situations to which those characteristics are relevant. This finding opens up the possibility of using an alternative strategy to develop a nomothetic measure of personality based on idiographic methods.
