Stained glass has attracted the attention of art critics and scientists for centuries. Stained glass art plays a special artistic role in decorating windows, doors, and ceilings. In addition to the traditional use of stained glass windows, they are used in the design of modern interiors. Although stained-glass windows are not a common design solution in interior design, they are increasingly used for their individualization in modern decoration. In the process of researching decorative decoration of modern interiors with the use of stained glass, new techniques and technologies of their implementation, compositional solutions, their color range were considered, and the main features of artistic expression were revealed. In modern interiors of residential premises, you can find stylized decorative and ornamental stylized stained-glass compositions, which are characterized by a linear division of the glass canvas with the use of faceted glass elements. With the help of stained glass windows, the space of the living room is filled with warm or cold, monochrome or polychrome colors, which enhances the visual perception of certain interior elements. Stained glass compositions using traditional and modern production technologies were analyzed and their role in modern interior design was determined.

With the further development of the social economy, people pay more attention to spiritual and cultural needs. As the main place of people’s daily life, the family is very important to the creation of its cultural atmosphere. In fact, China has fully entered the era of interior decoration, and people are paying more and more attention to decorative effects and the comfort and individual characteristics of decoration. Therefore, it is of practical significance to develop the application of decorative art in interior space design. However, the transfer effect of current interior decoration art design tends to be artistic, which leads to image distortion, and image content transfer errors are easy to occur in the process of transfer. The application of image style transfer in interior decoration art can effectively solve such problems. This paper analyzes the basic theory of image style transfer through image style transfer technology, Gram matrix, and Poisson image editing technology and designs images from several aspects such as image segmentation, content loss, enhanced style loss, and Poisson image editing constrained image spatial gradient. The application process of style transfer in interior decoration art realizes the application of image style transfer in interior decoration art. The experimental results show that the application of image style transmission in interior decoration art design can effectively avoid the contents of the interior decoration errors and distortions and has a good style transfer effect.

This study aimed at investigating the use of interior decorators by homemakers living in staff quarters in the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Four specific purposes guided the study as it sought answers to four research questions. The study used descriptive survey design. Simple random sampling technique was used A sample size of 120 home makers living within the staff quarters of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus was used for the study. A questionnaire which was designed and developed by the researchers in line with the objectives of the study was used to collect data for the study. Frequencies and percentages were used to analyze the collected data that was used for the study. The results analyzed revealed that majority of the Home makers residing in University of Nigeria Nsukka staff quarters are knowledgeable about interior decoration and its importance to the home (88%).The perception of homemakers living in University of Nigeria Nsukka towards patronizing interior decorators is positive as they are willing to patronize interior decorators (56%)but are constrained by a number of factors such as unavailability of funds, lack of value for interior decoration, scarcity of interior materials which leads to high cost of interior decoration materials among others (80%). However, these constraints can be reduced by making interior decoration affordable for the people, creating more awareness of interior decoration, implementing the right tools for decorating, among others (91%). It was recommended based on the outcome of the study , that the awareness of interior decoration and decorators should be intensified, this could come in form of workshop, seminars, exhibitions to get more people to know about the potential in interior decoration. There should be more practical lessons on interior decoration in the Home Economics program at various level as this would challenge students to explore the creativity in interior decoration. Discounts should be given to clients so that they can keep referring other people to patronize interior decorators.

The article examines decorative arts as a type of visual arts that focuses on works of art creation, with the aim of decorating and giving them aesthetic appeal, as well as objects of a purely exhibition nature. Decorative ceramics are divided into the following types: exterior, interior, and exhibition, and have two directions of development: traditional and academic. Modern Ukrainian decorative ceramics is characterized as an essential branch of decorative arts that developed based on millennial traditions and has its territorial features. It has been found that the technique of making modern decorative ceramics can be divided into forming and decorating. Traditional decorative ceramics are formed by the method of sculpting by hand and on the potter’s wheel. Academic ceramics have broader possibilities of formation, such as sculpting, pottery, pressing or casting in plaster molds, layer formation, and 3D printing. The decoration of modern decorative ceramics is quite diverse, but the traditional techniques remain unchanged. They are engobe, ceremony, pasting, smearing with water. For academic decorative ceramics, a variety of decoration methods, both traditional and experimental, are used. The methods are the following: engobing, etching, pasting, coating with water, painting with metal oxides, painting with metal salts, painting under watercolor paints, painting over watercolor paints, painting with precious metal products and chandeliers It has been found that the artists do not limit their possibilities in academic ceramics. They are not bound by traditional decoration methods. Artists can do whatever they fantasize about, while in traditional ceramics, they must stick to regional features in the methods of decoration and formation.

Mirror material is one of the decorative materials widely used in modern indoor environment. It not only has decoration, but also can expand space. In recent years, the advent of the era of big data has promoted the reform of the design industry. Using big data thinking to assist the innovative design of furniture products will also become an important trend in the development of the furniture industry. According to the characteristics of customer demand in the era of big data, this paper designs and develops a set of customer demand analysis system based on big data by using cloud computing and big data mining technology. By collecting the behavior data of users when using products, this paper combines the mirror material with the manufacturing process of wooden furniture. The mining algorithm is applied to find out the improvement goal and direction of wood furniture manufacturing process based on mirror material, so as to enhance the competitiveness of furniture enterprises. The method proposed in this paper can obtain the furniture design elements according to the functional zoning and theme information and input the furniture design elements and zoning elements into the design element matching evaluation model to obtain the design matching element information.

Kamasan puppet painting is one of the traditional arts that has a strong and unique philosophy. The Kamasan puppet painting that symbolizes Dewi Semara Ratih pelambang beauty of true love is very suitable to be implemented in the interior of the master bedroom. Kamasan's puppet painting that tells the story of Prabu Kresna as Arjuna's coachman, during the Kurusetra Mahabharat war, is very suitable to be implemented in the interiors of schools, campuses, offices, libraries, and study rooms in residential buildings. Kamasan Dewi Saraswati's puppet painting is very suitable to be implemented in the interior of schools, campuses, offices, libraries and spaces used for work that are related to education. It is recommended for interior designers to make Kamasan puppet painting as an alternative as an element of decoration in the designed interior. In addition to giving a unique feel to the interior that is designed, it is also able to serve as a stakeholder to preserve traditional Balinese art.

Since the twenty-first century, with the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and cultural confidence, our country has paid more and more attention to the protection and development of Chinese traditional culture, and more and more attention to the protection and development of China’s traditional culture, traditional culture has no longer become a simple symbol in history books but has gradually entered people’s daily life with the characteristics of vitality and gradually evolved into various characteristics and forms and integrated into all walks of life. Under the background of the evolution of this culture, this paper discusses the application of Chinese decorative color for interior decoration design and puts forward an application model of Chinese decorative color for interior design based on the AlexNet network improved by Adam, BN, dropout, and data enhancement optimization algorithm. Through analysis, it is found that the AlexNet network improved based on the above optimization algorithm has a good application prospect for interior decoration design. For the traditional AlexNet network, the improved AlexNet network is obviously better than the traditional AlexNet network in color extraction and can greatly reduce the loss value in the process of color recognition, up to 70.77%. Finally, the application forms and decorative functions of Chinese decorative color elements based on the improved AlexNet network in interior decoration design are analyzed. Relevant research can not only promote the integration of new and new technologies into traditional art but also effectively carry forward Chinese traditional culture and promote the internationalization of Chinese color.

Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant is a culinary-related commercial building in Cirebon. Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon applies decorative elements in the form of batik to its interior style. The application of decorative elements to the interior style of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant is found in the elements that form and fill the space. This study aims to determine the application, decoration, and meaning of the decorations in the interior of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon. To answer the problems in the study, the interior design approach the theory of D.K. Ching, and Roland Barthes' approach to meaning. The research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. This qualitative research is directed at the real conditions of the research object. The data sources of this research are sources (informants), objects, records, literature, and the internet. The results showed: (1) The application of decorative elements in the form of batik was found in space; lobby area, dining room, and bar area, in the form of space-forming elements; floors, walls, and ceilings, as well as space fillers; tables and chairs, as well as interior accessories. (2) The decorative elements applied to the interior style of Batik Kitchen Café and Restaurant in Cirebon is Nusantara batik motifs which have various meanings. The application of decorative elements to the interior style of the Batik Kitchen Cafe and Restaurant in Cirebon which plays a role in introducing, promoting, and preserving the traditional and cultural values of Cirebon City.

Interior decoration is considered as primary to traditional living culture with distinctive cultural ideas, filling in the use of the latest style of thinking. The purpose of this study is to explore the development and current status of interior decoration styles in modern Pakistan and to collect background information on the current interior design decoration style and application of traditional elements in decoration.Also, investigate the extent of application of traditional thoughts in modern houses, their incorporation and blend with contemporary architecture so that the cultural values and the elements of traditional interior décor art and craft are not endangered. Study reveals that Pakistani interior décor style is the foremost interesting and attention-grabbing to work with because of the variations within the culture, splendid history and art and craft across the country.

The existing interior decoration of Qing Dynasty is the master of that of each dynasty, with its diversified forms and complicated functions. As early as 1920s, the Rehabilitation Committee of Qing court recorded the interior furnishing in the Forbidden City by using Chinese traditional documentary method. Today, along with the constantly updated techniques, the recording method for the current situation of interior decoration has gradually developed from two-dimensional drawings into digital and comprehensive record. However, the current research results are mostly limited to a single field. This paper takes the digital record and reproduction about the current situation of interior decoration in Jingfu Palace in the Forbidden City as an example. Through the use of photogrammetry, 3D laser scanning, virtual display and other technology and equipment at the forefront of architectural field, it makes qualitative and quantitative record about the interior decoration inside Jingfu Palace. By combing with the interpretation of historical documents, it restores the original design ideas hidden behind the current situation of interior decoration, so as to summarize the best recording and reproducing method of interior decoration of Qing Dynasty.

Colours are, perhaps, as old as the universe is; might be older than that. But, for sure, colours are older than arts and are related to every aspect of human life. A colour gets its identity from the rays it generates. In other words, colours are composed of radiations. Thus, when it is about colours, it is more about science than it is about arts. And science cannot be regional or time-bound; it is always universally and timelessly applicable. This character of colours inspired me to write ‘The Ever-Contemporary Character of Colours and Interior Decoration’ and helped me in taking examples from different periods of history, thus making the research paper interesting.In interior decoration, undoubtedly, line and proportion are the most important elements but it falls to the lot of few to be able to dictate what they desire in these spheres. Most of the people are content to limit their interior decoration activities to colour only, as this can be cheaply applied to the walls and choice of small accessories etc. Moreover, changing the colour also changes the look and ambience of an interior instantly and intensely. It also helps in expressing one’s personality in their interior and these can be easily done with colour. Colour, therefore, plays the major part in decorative schemes.

In order to study the influence of driving on automotive interior decorations volatile formaldehyde, the JX-3B vibration sensor calibration of sine excitation simulates car vibration. The concentration of the volatile formaldehyde is measured in the static and dynamic, combined with the indoor air quality detector and the JX-3B vibration sensor calibration. The results of experiment contrast show that the driving and stop of car has influence on decorations volatile formaldehyde. The concentration of decoration volatile formaldehyde with vibration is lower than the stationary, and concentration with the change of time also is not the same as the stationary. The experiment results of car interior decorations volatile formaldehyde can provide basis for the next research, and the reference for research of other scholars.

In Ptolemaic Egypt (ca. 332–30 BC), numerous physical spaces served as loci of identity negotiation for elite individuals inhabiting a setting where imported Greek traditions interacted with local Egyptian ones. Such negotiations, or maneuverings, often took place through visual culture. This essay explores a sample of the Greek architectural elements and surface decorations used in wealthy Ptolemaic homes and what they communicate about the residents’ sense of identity. The decorative choices made for a home conveyed information about the social status and cultural allegiances of its owner(s). Some comparisons are possible between Ptolemaic homes in Alexandria, the Delta, and the Fayyum and those from other Hellenistic sites in the eastern Mediterranean such as Priene and Delos. Elites in Alexandria and the Egyptian chora incorporated Greek traditions into their homes and adapted them in increasingly novel ways, creating architecture and surface decoration that was uniquely Ptolemaic. These households were visually in dialogue both with broader Hellenistic trends and with their Egyptian context.

This has seriously affected the interior decoration industry and brought challenges to the local handicraft industry. Pakistan’s traditional handicraft is famous in the world, but the flow of imported machine-made products in Pakistan has led to a decline of Pakistan’s handicraft industry. This research investigated which factors are involved in home decoration and to see if these factors are advantageous for the handicraft industry or not. The use of handicraft decoration objects varies among people when they design their houses. Thus, study conducted a survey, which found several factors that Pakistani people emphasize in relation to home decoration. Currently, these factors do not benefit the handicraft industry as people pursue a modern lifestyle and they consider handicraft objects without innovation and design outdated. Interior decoration is seen as a major aspect of traditional Pakistani life and culture, with distinct cultural characteristics. Inspired by the latest way of thinking, an interior design first exists as a concept and is then realized through careful planning. It is meant to evoke a specific mood through the strategic use of color, space, and style. In Pakistan, home accessories are generally and strongly influenced by the current fashion in the end market, with many changes brought about by consumers’ purchasing patterns, designers’ and decorators’ styles, and economic conditions. Keeping up with constantly changing trends is the main challenge faced by the traditional handicraft industry sector. In many cases, craftspeople are disconnected from the end market, which is a challenge for them to be able to profit from their work.

Pada dasarnya kebudayaan Tionghoa mewariskan heterogenitas ragam hias Arsitektural Klenteng yang unik dan filosofis, mulai dari pemilihan warna dan penerapan atribut pada dekorasi ruang Klenteng. Penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengemukakan makna filosofi dari ornamen dan dekorasi interior Klenteng Xian Madi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa interior Klenteng Xian Madi didominasi dengan warna merah dan gold. Bagi umat Tionghoa warna emas melambangkan keberuntungan, dan keceriaan. Warna gold melambangkan kebahagiaan dan kemakmuran. Disamping itu, terdapat beberapa patung yang terletak di segala sisi ruang Klenteng sebagai tempat sembahyang umat Tionghoa. Abstract_ The purpose of this study is to identify and clarify the ornament and interior decoration philosophy found in the Xian Madi Temple, Makassar City. Chinese culture inherits the heterogeneity of the unique and philosophical architectural decoration of the pagoda, starting from the selection of colors and the application of attributes to the pagoda's room decoration. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to describe and express the philosophical meaning of the ornamentation and interior decoration of the Xian Madi Temple. Based on research results that the interior of the Xian Madi Temple is dominated by red and gold. For Chinese people, the golden color symbolizes luck and cheerfulness. The gold color symbolizes happiness and prosperity. Also, there are several statues located on all sides of the temple room as a place of prayer for Chinese people. So that the philosophy of ornament and interior decoration of Xian Madi Temple can be known empirically because each ornament and interior decoration contains meaning as a form of communication for observers who come.Keywords: Temple Architecture; Ornament Philosophy; Room Decoration; Qualitative Descriptive Method.

Four chapters came as follows: (Methodological framework) and included the research problem, its importance, the objectives of the research, the limits of the research, and the chapter concluded by specifying the terms. (Theoretical framework): It was divided into three topics as follows: The first topic: decoration in cinema and television, the second topic: the aesthetic and dramatic employment of decoration, the third topic: the use of decoration in the narrative of the Turkish series: The researcher came up with a set of indicators that he adopted as tools for sample analysis After taking the opinion of the expert committee. (Research procedures): It includes the research methodology and research tools, the unit of analysis, the research community and the research sample, the validity of the tool, the analysis steps and finally the sample analysis, which was an episode of the Turkish series Valley of the Wolves. (Results and Conclusions): The results and conclusions of the research include: 1. The decorator in the Turkish series has the ability to list important information and broadcast it to the recipient about the character, which contributes to fully conveying the idea. 2. Decoration occupies a great importance in television series, given that most of the scenes are interior, so reliance on decorations is to fill the space of the shot.

In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology and the extensive coverage of the Internet, the information age has come, and data is gradually becoming one of the important factors in the production of various manufacturing and operational entrepreneurs. With the development of society, people have higher and higher requirements for indoor planning. People no longer only pursue the beauty of a simple natural environment, but also pursue the beauty of the natural environment, their unique personality and spiritual pursuit. This article firstly studies some development issues and trends of interior decoration design, and then discovers the application of big data in interior decoration design through literature research. Finally, the questionnaire surveyed the interior decoration design style and product selection. The survey results showed that about 50% of the choice of style chose simple style, and 70%-80% of consumers chose natural materials for decoration products. It can be seen that, the interior decoration design is simpler, and the natural style develops.

This paper introduces in detail the outline of soft decoration design of Phoenix Tea House in Nanchang city, including design concept and style selection, soft decoration design elements and principles, as well as the integration of soft decoration design and regional culture. The paper further expounds the soft decoration design practice of Phoenix Tea House in Nanchang City, including space layout and functional zoning, the use of color and material, the selection of interior furniture and decorations, and the use of tea culture elements. Through the investigation of user experience and evaluation, this paper probes into the influence of soft outfit design on user experience, and puts forward some suggestions for improvement of soft outfit design in rural residential accommodation. This study provides practical experience and theoretical reference for the soft decoration design of rural country house under the background of regional culture.

The paper examines the historical aspects of the development specialists in decorative and applied arts training in Ukraine on the example of porcelain production (late 18th century – today) and its current state abroad. In line with the issue of introduction of this direction of decorative and applied art in our country, examples of its flourishing in the cities of Koret (production of baroque Meissen porcelain), Baranivka, Hrodnytsia, Dovbysh (Iliinskyi Manufactory, Markhlov Factory, Dovbysh Porcelain Factory, Polonsky Porcelain Factory); Poltava, Boryslav, Sumy, Ternopil (opening of porcelain factories in 1965) are characterized. It has been found that along with the foundation and development of porcelain industries there were professional schools focused on training skilled craftsmen to work in the factory, in particular schools in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv; Myrhorod Art and Industrial School in Poltava region, etc.). The high-quality training of pottery and porcelain and faience specialists, teachers of graphic arts and drawing, masters of artistic decoration of products ready to perform significant amounts of physical work - making tiles, bulky dishes, decorating the facades of churches, houses, fireplaces, creating sculptures, interior and exterior decorations - was facilitated by the activities of famous artists and teachers S. Maslenikov, O. Slastion, and V. Krychevskyi, who also supervised the production of outstanding works and participation in industrial exhibitions. This study includes the answer to the question that may be raised regarding the possibility of considering the design of the interior decoration as classified as protected works in the UAE law, and the consequent enjoyment by the designer of the literary and financial rights of the author. Paragraph 11 of UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 on the protection of copyright and related rights refers to the design of decoration as one of the examples of the technical works mentioned by the legislator. The answer to the questions raised in this study is divided into two axes: the first is the technical framework and guarantee the historical development of the design, the role of the Arab design in the development of the design of the decoration and the definition of the designer and distinguish it from the architectural design. The second axis included the legal framework and included the conditions that must be met in the decoration design in order to enjoy legal protection, the rights of the decorator and then the legal protection of the right of the decorator.

The popularity of green building and BIM technology has increased globally, with strong government support in China. However, the integration of green requirements into interior decoration poses practical difficulties. Despite the few studies on the combination of green evaluation and BIM in building decoration, current methods largely rely on expert scores after completion. This research proposes a green evaluation index system for building interior decoration, examining the inter-index relationships and contribute to the final green degree of the project. Additionally, a green evaluation method based on BIM technology and the Bayesian network is explored, aimed at evaluating the green degree of design schemes, providing feedback, and supporting the realization of green interior decoration. With a focus on green evaluation, the current methods that rely solely on expert scores after completion will be improved. The results will provide technical support for the realization of green decoration and offer a reference for the improvement of green evaluation methods in the future.

The objective of this research is to (1) evaluate the differences of physical factors and (2) evaluate the level of Building users' perception of the physical factors in the office which convey the meaning of Corporate Identity between the automotive business and the real estate business. The samples chosen for this research include 10 automotive business offices and real estate offices located in Bangkok area with a total number of 324 persons, using questionnaire to collect relevant data; using Likert Scale to evaluate the internal environment in the office; using t-test / ANOVA to analyze perceptual level data and differences in 8 physical factors which reflect the corporate identity under this research, i.e. (1) Colors in decoration; (2) Lighting in decoration; (3) Furniture style; (4) Decorative style; (5) The shape of space; (6) Continuity of space; (7) Wall decoration and graphic works and (8) Material in decoration. Based on the results of the research, it was found that there were physical factors which reflected the corporate identity of the organization and affected the perception level of those who were building users at a high level. The said 4 physical factors consisted of (1) Colors in decoration; (2) Interior decorative style; (3) Lighting in decoration, and lastly (4) Material in decoration. However, the individual characteristics of building users such as gender, age, and duration of work also affected the recognition of corporate identity significantly.
