AbstractIn the 15th century, play and dance were expressively criticised. This makes it all the more remarkable for the Dominican Meister Ingold to identify, in his ‘Guldin Spil’, not only chess, cards and dice as some of the seven games useful to overcome the seven deadly sins, but also dance. Ingold, however, does not praise the outward dance. Rather, he intends to turn the reader towards what may be called inner contemplation or Betrachtung, with the various stages of Jesus’ life are transformed into dance steps. The result is an odd conflict: external dance may have negative connotations, yet lays the mental groundwork for the inner Betrachtung. This article aims to explore this area of conflict by examining the various traditions of interpretation which may have influenced Ingold.

Abstract (sommario):

A tradução é uma prática cuja relevância foi ressaltada por Jakobson (1975), linguista da Escola de Praga, e Guldin (2002), estudioso de Flusser, filósofo e escritor multilíngue. Sabemos que o ato de traduzir é muito mais complexo do que um simples escambo de sinônimos entre línguas. Quando a tradução se realiza em cima de uma história em quadrinhos requer um cuidado ainda maior, já que além do texto verbal ali apresentado há outro elemento textual de igual importância: o composto imagético. Como afirma Umberto Eco (2006), a relação entre os dois compostos textuais – verbal e imagético – é bastante complexa. No caso das histórias em quadrinhos japonesas, ou mangás, essa relação é ainda mais explorada por seus autores, já que o próprio idioma japonês apresenta em sua composição um largo uso de ideogramas. Neste artigo, busco apontar as principais problemáticas da tradução de mangás para a língua portuguesa, após uma reflexão sobre a (im)possibilidade da tradução, suscitada pela leitura de textos de Jakobson e Flusser, e considerando os obstáculos apontados pelo tradutor profissional de mangás Arnaldo Oka.

Abstract (sommario):

The article deals with the issue of a real circulating coins and accounting units used at the beginning of the 1540s in the Upper Lusatia. As a main source served the account books of the Vienna Court Chamber from 1543–1544. They preserve both the conversion of the purchasing power of the coins used by the Upper Lusatian estates and towns to pay the tax obligation for the military campaign against the Turks, as well as the conversion of the monetary units used in the payment system of Upper Lusatia at that time. This documentation shows that the Upper Lusatian Mark, which was divided into 48 small groats, was the equivalent to 56 kreuzers in the Austrian currency. The second main unit of currency was the Upper Lusatian Gulden, which was converted into the main Austrian unit of currency, the “Rhenish guldens”, at the rate of 14 Rhenish guldens = 15 Upper Lusatian Guldens. At Upper Lusatia of that time, the silver thaler was worth 63 Upper Lusatian small groats (70 kreuzers) and the Hungarian gold ducat valued 93 Upper Lusatian small groats (105 kreuzers). The gradual unification of monetary units in all the Lands of the Bohemian Crown and in the Habsburg Hereditary Lands cannot be traced earlier than after 1547.

Med udgangspunkt i et feltarbejde i en guldmine i Grønland undersøger jeg i denne artikel, hvordan grønlandsk guld bliver gravet såvel som analyseret frem som en bestemt råvare. Ambitionen er at udforske, hvordan guldet i den grønlandske mine kommer til syne som mere end et irreducibelt grundstof, nemlig som et produkt sammensat af et væld af uforudsigelige og heterogene møder mellem sprængstof, minearbejdere fra hele verden, uvejsom natur, internationale guldpriser, nedslidt mineudstyr, arbejdsmiljø blandt meget andet. Ved at stille skarpt på, hvordan disse møder genererer både stedet og guldet og deres indbyrdes relation på særlige måder, viser artiklen, hvordan en langt rejsende råvare som guld ikke er en given og selvberoende enhed – et rent grundstof – men en sammensat ressource, der både kan skabe og udviske specifikke lokaliteter og<br /> globale forbindelser.

Abstract David Armitage and Jo Guldi’s arguments about the crisis of history depend on assertions that have little or no factual basis; they misread their own data. Since the nature of the crisis is in doubt, it follows that the authors’ narrative of its causes must also come into question. Armitage and Guldi confuse microhistory with cultural history and mischaracterize the work of cultural historians. An alternative to their misreading and mischaracterization is to look at previous moments of perceived “crisis”: historians have been worrying about similar issues for nearly a century. To understand the distinctiveness of the present crisis, it would be useful to consider the effects of the relentless democratization of higher education rather than to blame certain historians for pushing history off course.

Abstract This article engages with some of the questions raised by David Armitage and Jo Guldi’s “The Return of the longue durée: An Anglo-American Perspective” and their resonance among readers of the Annales. In particular, it challenges the authors’ classification of a variety of different historical studies of short periods of time under the rubric of “microhistory.” It also questions their argument that such studies are evidence of a “moral crisis” that supposedly dominated anglophone historiography from the cultural revolution of 1968 to the global financial crisis of 2008. Furthermore, the article contrasts the less conventional meanings that Fernand Braudel originally attributed to the longue durée with the ways that Armitage and Guldi interpret this expression. Finally, it asks how, in practice, historians are supposed to follow the authors’ invitation to move beyond specialized training and knowledge to produce sweeping new and original interpretations of millennia of human history.

Abstract In contrast to the other works of the fifteenth-century mystic Magdalena of Freiburg, her Golden Litany was heavily copied in Germany and the Low Countries in the late Middle Ages. Despite its popularity, this meditative prayer on the Passion has not yet been studied. This article attempts to fill this gap. It offers a full survey of the transmitted manuscripts of the text and aims to provide insight into its distribution in the late medieval German and Dutch language areas. The prayer is discussed in the context of contemporaneous literary and religious traditions. In this way, the article attempts to explain why a southern German text was so popular in the Low Countries, especially in the circles of the Devotio Moderna.

Gullian Barre Syndrome is a post infectious poly neuropathy mainly involving motor, but sometimes also sensory and autonomic nerves. Recent immunization with influenza, oral polio and rabies are included in etiology. Pure motor axonal type has the highest incidence in paediatric population. There is flaccid ascending paralysis with areflexia. Autonomic and cranial nerve impairment are also noted. We are presenting a case of 18 months old female child, partially vaccinated, weighing 9kg, who presented with complains of generalized for two days and inability to walk for one day. Child had upper respiratory tract infection two weeks back for which she took oral antibiotics. Milestones were appropriate for age. On examination GCS was 7/15, cranial nerves intact , hypotonia with areflexia and decrease power in all four limbs. Rest of the systemic examination was unremarkable. Laboratory investigations showed leuckocytosis with normal electrolytes and renal functions. However CSF showed pleocytosis with normal glucose and WBC count. Stool culture for polio virus was sent and found to be negative. Our provisional diagnosis is acute flaccid paralysis which could be due to poliomyelitis, gullain barre syndrome and botulinism. History, examination and CSF D/R was suggestive of gullain barre syndrome, so final diagnosis was made. Child was intubated in PICU immediately after shift from emergency due to labored breathing and low GCS. Child was on ventilator support for two days. Intravenous immunoglobulin were arranged and given but unfortunately child expired on second day of admission. Gullain barre syndrome is one of the important cause of acute flaccid paralysis and it is associated with highest mortality incases with rapid onset of limb weakness and mechanical ventilation.

An immunoradiometric method of the second generation (IRMA II) is widely used to determine CA125 serum levels. In this study we have evaluated the performance characteristics of a commercially available IRMA CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostics). The CA125 serum levels were determined in several groups of patients (healthy women, pregnant women, subjects affected by benign and malignant ovarian cancer, patients with liver diseases) with two IRMAs CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica and Centocor, Diagnostic Division) and IRMA CA125 I (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica). Our results show a good analytic performance of IRMA CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica), a good correlation between IRMAs CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica and Centocor, Diagnostic Division), but an unacceptable correlation between IRMAs CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica and Centocor, Diagnostic Division) and IRMA CA125 I. A statistically significant difference was observed comparing the values obtained with both IRMAs CA125 II and IRMA CA125 I in the groups of patients. In contrast no statistically significant difference was observed when we compared the values obtained with IRMA CA125 II (Byk-Gulden, Sangtec Diagnostica) and IRMA CA125 II (Centocor, Diagnostic Division). CA125 serum values obtained with the second-generation kits were different from those obtained with the first-generation one; consequently, it is important, especially in the follow-up of cancer patients, that CA125 serum values be obtained with kits of the same generation. Our data seem to suggest the use of second-generation kits to determine CA125 serum levels.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan variasi pembelajaran yang baru terhadap teknik dasar guling depan dan guling belakang, sehingga siswa dapat belajar materi senam lantai tanpa merasa bosan dengan adanya model pembelajaran yang baru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan kemudian untuk Rancangan penelitian, peneliti mengacu pada model pengembangan (research and development). Dari sepuluh langkah yang ada, peneliti melakukan modifikasi dengan menggunakan 7 langkah dari 10 langkah yang dikemukakan oleh Borg and Gall. Dari penelitian dan pengembangan serta prosedur yang dilakukan, menghasilkan produk yaitu pengembangan pembelajaran teknik dasar guling depan dan guling belakang pada senam lantai melalui multimedia interaktif yaitu (1) pengantar, menjelaskan model pembelajaran dan cara membantu guling depan dan guling belakang, (2) inti, menampilkan video model pembelajaran dan cara membantu guling depan serta guling belakang, dan (3) penutup, menampilkan evaluasi butir–butir soal tentang guling belakang dan guling depan.Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan media pembelajaran teknik dasar senam lantai guling depan dan guling belakang melaui multimedia interaktif untuk siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Sumberpucung Kabupaten Malang.

AbstractThis article examines two short narratives by Hans Sachs, ‘Of the Lost Talking Gulden’ (1553) and ‘The Poor Complaining Horse Hide’ (1557), as early ‘it-narratives’ that feature material things as their narrators, focalisers and protagonists: a gulden coin, and a horse hide that is then made into a shoe respectively. The small size of these things and their interaction with humans here works not to make them accessible for human handling, but allows them to provide a macro- and a micro-perspective on human society as an alternative to the normal anthropocentric view of sensory perceptions.

Senam ini dikatakan sebagai aktivitas dasar dan menjelma dari setiap bagian anggota tubuh dari kemampuan komponen motorik atau gerak seperti kekuatan, kecepatan, keseimbangan, kelenturan, kelincahan, dan ketepatan. Salah satu contoh senam lantai adalah gerakan dengan melakukan guling depan dan guling belakang. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (action research). Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran senam lantai menggunakan media hulahoop. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pakusari yang berjumlah 30 anak, terdiri atas siswa putra sebanyak 15 anak dan siswa putri sebanyak 15 anak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk mengungkap atau menggambarkan objek penelitian. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes unjuk kerja guling depan. Dari hasil penelitian pembelajaran senam lantai guling depan dan guling belakang tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tindakan pembelajaran senam lantai guling depan dan guling belakang menggunakan media hulahoop yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran pada siswa kelas VIII SMP NEGERI 1 PAKUSARI Kecamatan Pakusari Kabupaten Jember.

Permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar keterampilan materi guling depan dan guling belakang adalah dasar penyusunan penelitian best practice kelas VII E MTs Negeri 8 Semester ini, pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di Kebumen melakukan penerapan alat peraga pembelajaran bola kremes sebagai strategi pembelajaran PJOK dalam upaya meningkatkan efektifitas dan hasil belajar psikomotor atau keterampilan. Proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung baik jika guru mampu mengelola proses tersebut sedemikian rupa, sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Prinsip belajar aktif dan efisien inilah yang diharapkan dapat mewujudkan suasana pembelajaran PJOK aktif, kreatif dan menyenangkan. Salah satu alternatif yang bisa digunakan penerapan penggunaan alat peraga pembelajaran bola kremes dalam proses pembelajaran senam lantai guling depan dan guling belakang mata pelajaran PJOK. Hasil penelitian best practice ini menunjukan bahwa siswa yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bantuan alat peraga pembelajaran bola kremes menjadi lebih mudah menguasai gerakan guling depan dan guling belakang karena saat siswa melakukan gerakan guling depan dan guling belakang siswa selalu berusaha menjaga kepala tetap menempel dileher menjaga bola tidak terjatuh, sehingga secara langsung mendukung gerakan mengguling kedepan dan kebelakang karena posisi kepala, badan dan kaki tetap bulat. Peningkatan hasil belajar Psikomotor Kompetensi dasar senam lantai siswa Kelas VII E sebesar 40,63 % dari tes awal 17 siswa menjadi 30 siswa. Sehingga Implementasi Penggunaan Alat Peraga Bola Kremes terbukti dapat meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Keterampilan Materi Guling Depan dan Guling Belakang Senam Lantai Siswa Kelas VII E Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Kata kunci: Alat Peraga Pembelajaran Bola Kremes, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 8 Kebumen, Peningkatan Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran PJOK.

Lachnodius Maskell is a genus of three named species that are part of an Australian radiation of felt scale insects that induce galls on Eucalyptus and Corymbia (Myrtaceae). A female’s gall usually consists of an open-top pit in swollen plant tissue. Depending on the species, galls can occur on a host’s leaves, buds, stems, or trunk. Here, we redescribe the named species: L.eucalypti (Maskell), L.hirsutus (Froggatt) and L.lectularius (Maskell), and describe seven new species: L.brimblecombei Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.froggatti Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.maculosus Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.melliodorae Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.newi Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.parathrix Beardsley, Gullan & Hardy, sp. n., L.sealakeensis Gullan & Hardy, sp. n. Descriptions are based primarily on adult females, but for some species short diagnoses of nymphal stages also are provided. The taxonomic history of Lachnodius is reviewed, with notes on their biology and ecology. A key to species based on the morphology of adult females is provided, and lectotypes are designated for Dactylopiuseucalypti Maskell and Lachnodiuslectularius Maskell.

Penelitian ini terdiri dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Populasi dan sampel adalah Mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Universitas Muhammadiyah Luwuk, dipilih secara random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 37 peserta didik.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1). Ada hubungan yang signitifkan antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan kemampuan guling depan pada siswa Mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Universitas Muhammadiyah Luwuk 2). Abstract Johann Friedrich Reichardt (1752–1814), königlich-preußischer Hofkapellmeister und Komponist von Liedern und Singspielen, ist bereits früh auch als Musikschriftsteller in Erscheinung getreten. Der Beitrag zeigt, dass Reichardt in seinen biographischen Erzählungen und Charakterstudien über Komponisten wie Graun, Hasse und Händel wie auch über fiktive Musikerfiguren (Gulden, Hermenfried) die grundlegenden anthropologischen Fragen, die in seinem Königsberger Umfeld (Kant, Hamann, Herder) diskutiert wurden, auf die spezifischen Bedingungen eines Daseins als Musiker bezieht.Johann Friedrich Reichardt (1752–1814), Royal Prussian Court Kapellmeister and composer of songs and musical comedies, also made a name for himself as the author of music-related writings. This article argues that Reichardt, in his biographical narratives and character studies of composers such as Graun, Hasse, and Handel as well as of fictional musicians (Gulden, Hermenfried), relates the fundamental anthropological questions discussed in his Königsberg environment (Kant, Hamann, Herder) to the specific conditions of life as a musician.
