Abstract (sommario):
In the context of the development of the economic complex of the region, its environmental aspects acquire special significance. The reasons for this are the growing negative impact on the environment and thedepletion of the natural potential of the territories. As a result, the issue of managing the environmental protection of the region within the framework of its sustainable development is becoming increasingly relevant. At the same time, one of the tools of this management is the assessment of environmental sustainability of regional development.

By the strengthening of the economic competition became it apparent a company can’t be valued separate, it should be examined as a complex system. In the assessment of corporate performance is increasingly emphasized the environmental performance. The relevant information of stakeholder about the environmental performance is todays an expection, For this, a management control system is needed, which provide relevant information to managers, hence facilitating the informed decision. This study highlighted, accounting systems are able to meet this demand sufficiently, the accounting means not only the usual bookkeeping, it can be interpreted as a management-controll system, which can help in the valuation of the environmental performance.

Abstract (sommario):
Environmental protection is actively becoming one of the main issues of the Sustainable Development Agenda, and is therefore in the focus of various scientific papers and publications. In the context of vehicle platooning, the environment represents an important area, considering that some of the main goals of this transport technology are to reduce fuel consumption and the reduction of harmful gas emissions. Both goals are achievable when optimizing the speed of vehicles in the convoy, but they also depend on the number of vehicles in the convoy, the type of road they travel on, the weight/mass they carry, as well as the weather conditions. This paper will provide insights into platooning simulations and researches conducted in real conditions, which will focus on the impact of this transportation technology on the environment.

Abstract (sommario):
Increasing knowledge about the risk of toxic effects caused by anthropogenic mercury accumulation in ecosystems has resulted in a growing pressure for reduction of the discharge of mercury waste. Consequently, the mercury waste problems of dental clinics have been given increased attention, and restrictions on handling and discharge of contaminated waste have been established in several countries. Major amalgam particles from trituration surplus of those produced during the carving and burnishing of new amalgam restorations are generally collected in coarse filters and sold for refinement. Minor amalgam particles released by production of new fillings or by removal of old restorations partly sediment in tubes and drains. The remaining particles are carried with the waste water stream to the local purifying plant. In Scandinavia, the industrial discharge of mercury-contaminated waste water has been reduced to a minimum. According to recent investigations, dental clinics appear to be responsible for the major amount of mercury collected in the sludge generated in purifying plants. If threshold values for heavy metal content, including mercury, are exceeded, the sludge is not allowed to be recycled as fertilizer. Installation of an approved amalgam-separating apparatus in dental clinics is now mandatory in several countries-for example, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. Approval of amalgam separators is based on national testing programs, including clinical or laboratory tests demanding 95-99% separating efficiency.

Abstract (sommario):
The environmental consequences of man's activities are subject not only to extensive public debate, but also to wide-ranging regulatory activities: The United States of America and Western Europe are taking lead roles. We review the changing regulatory scene and the likely demands on those producing, transporting, storing and using TDI. There are two main themes. Firstly, regulators will require that real or potential environmental exposure is reduced. Secondly, further data will have to be generated to allow the consequences of environmental exposure to be understood better, and risk assessments to be prepared. Other themes are notification and labelling The numerous studies carried out on TDI, in terms of observed or likely fate and effects in air, water and soil, are received. We discuss current levels of environmental exposure, the containment or natural destruction of released TDI, and the ecotoxicity of TDI and/or its reaction products. Taken together, these indicate that the current environmental impact is likely to be very low. However, more data need to be generated to improve our understanding, and to conform to regulatory requirements. A strategy of studies to fulfil both objectives is suggested. A number of the studies are already well advanced or currently being implemented. The proposed studies reflect a changing emphasis, from studies designed to investigate actual or simulated emission or spillage scenarios with commercial (mixed isomer) TDI, towards studies designed to understand fundamental aspects of TDI fate and effects in the environment. New test procedures may need to be developed to yield data for modelling and risk assessment.

Abstract (sommario):
Sacrum w przestrzeni zamieszkiwania przedstawia szacunek dla niewidzialnego. Ludzie, tworząc prywatne sanktuaria w domach, stawiając przydrożne krzyże i kapliczki, podkreślają swoją potrzebę bezpieczeństwa i ochrony w codziennym życiu. The Paradigm Change. Environmental Aspects as Transformative Imperative in the Housing Environment The sacred in the habitation space depicts respect for the unseen. The people underlined their fear and hope for safety, comfort, and well-being in the sanctuaries inside their homes or roadside crosses and chapels. But contemporary shrines are different; architectural and urban means and solutions differ from those from previous ages. At the same time, they refer to or even use the same elements to express the holy. An expanded analysis of theoretical works and design examples based on longtime research and observations of the described phenomenon allows the author to formulate a thesis about a strongly changing paradigm in what one can describe as the sacred in a housing environment.

Abstract (sommario):
The article analyzes road accidents with collisions with animals that occurred on international highways of state importance. The object of study - road safety. The purpose of the work is to determine the impact of the transport structure on wildlife and search for optimal preventive measures to minimize anthropogenic impact. Research method - statistical analysis of accidents with collisions with animals. The author proposes and describes ways to reduce the negative effects of transport infrastructure on biodiversity. In particular, on sections of highways running through forests, it is recommended to install fencing nets to avoid animals running out on the road and, if possible, to adapt existing bridges for animal crossings, to install warning signs. Road sections crossing nature reserve facilities need to be studied in detail regarding the crossing of migration routes of some species, followed by recommendations for measures to minimize the risk of accidents.. This approach involves an inventory of animal deaths on the roads and an assessment of the impact of transport infrastructure. A necessary condition is the unification of approaches and the register of research results on the death of animals on the roads. KEYWORDS: HADDON’S MATRIX, ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS OF ACCIDENTS, TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE, FRAGMENTATION Of POPULATION.

Abstract (sommario):
In modern society, the problems of environmental safety, global warming and social inequality are becoming increasingly relevant. Accordingly, the solution of these problems is a primary task for state institutions and business. The socio-environmental agenda has become particularly acute over the past two years in the conditions of total quarantine restrictions. The aggravated social orientation changes the vector of the accounting and fiscal component of the modern business model. There was a need to reflect these objects in the accounting system in such a way that they were accessible and understandable for all groups of interested users. In addition, the emergence of new tasks and objects of accounting supervision requires new approaches to the development of a valuation model. However, to date, there is no specific methodology for assessing the environmental and social components of the activities of economic entities, which raises such questions that the traditional accounting model cannot give a correct answer to. Modern challenges of society have led to the emergence of such a concept as the economy of sustainable development, which in turn is based on the stability of the functioning of economic entities. In the presented work, the authors systematize the structural components and types of accounting for the formation of a comprehensive model of the conceptual foundations of accounting for the sustainable development of economic entities. Based on the results of the expert survey, the systematization of accounting types by user groups and the information provided to them was carried out. The authors have compiled and analyzed a matrix of characteristics of accounting for sustainable development (BUUR) in the context of monetary and natural definitions, taking into account the orientation to the past and the future. The definitions of the internal and external BUUR are given. The concept of a BUUR focused on monetary/natural and external/internal indicators is presented.

Abstract (sommario):
Systemic iron overload is multifactorial in patients suffering from myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Disease-immanent ineffective erythropoiesis together with chronic red blood cell transfusion represent the main underlying reasons. However, like the genetic heterogeneity of MDS, iron homeostasis is also diverse in different MDS subtypes and can no longer be generalized. While a certain amount of iron and reactive oxygen species (ROS) are indispensable for proper hematological output, both are harmful if present in excess. Consequently, iron overload has been increasingly recognized as an important player in MDS, which is worth paying attention to. This review focuses on iron- and ROS-mediated effects in the bone marrow niche, their implications for hematopoiesis and their yet unclear involvement in clonal evolution. Moreover, we provide recent insights into hepcidin regulation in MDS and its interaction between erythropoiesis and inflammation. Based on Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET2), representing one of the most frequently mutated genes in MDS, leading to disturbances in both iron homeostasis and hematopoiesis, we highlight that different genetic alteration may have different implications and that a comprehensive workup is needed for a complete understanding and development of future therapies.

Abstract (sommario):
The term "sustainable development" is based on the fundamental principle of improving human quality of life without destroying the natural environment (the biosphere). Humankind develops through the consumption of renewable (air, water, landscapes, and biota) and nonrenewable (fuel, ores, and other mineral resources) resources from the Earth. Constant renewal of resources is an essential condition for sustainable development. However, the present-day use of nature ignores this requirement, which inevitably leads to the depletion of resources, degradation of ecosystems, and global ecological disaster. This paper considers the modern level of consumption of life-supporting resources, which exceeds the permissible limits, and possible ways to prevent the approaching disaster. We draw several conclusions regarding the necessity to adopt a radically new nature-use strategy on the bases of the rational use and reproduction of resources as well as the development of new technologies of energy production from nontraditional sources.

Abstract (sommario):
Information and communication technology diffuse through the whole of our current practices and form our entire life. Just in the media, at political, economic and scientific level, and often even in normal conversation among people is the global environment very frequented and discussed question. The results of the environment monitoring in Czech Republic (its natural and humane components) are publicized in numeric form (field measurements data including derived indicators) and in cartography representation (Geographical Information System) at any internet servers of various levels of public administration. Environment indicators are nation-wide. At self-government region management authority level publication of regional indicators describing natural and human components of environment is null practically, in both print and electronic form. Similar situation persists in describing preserved natural territories (nature monuments and reservations, Natura2000 areas, etc. …). Somewhat better is the situation of historical and in part of technical objects. Complex description of regional environment is missing.

Abstract (sommario):
The social aspects of environmental problems are no less important for preserving the quality parameters of the environment than numerous energy and technical aspects. In the context of increasing environmental problems and difficulties in the relationship between man and nature, it seems extremely important to appeal to the consciousness and thinking of man and humanity. An effective means of influencing a person’s system of beliefs and values is education. Therefore, the article’s appeal to pedagogical potential as one of the significant means of solving environmental problems seems quite relevant. Education system prepares specialists capable of solving environmental problems associated with industrial production and energy-saving technologies.
