This study from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, the English ditransitive construction structural polysemy in conjunction the antisense strand of the comparative study of the constructions, reasoning semantic motivation. After the construction grammar and cognitive semantic analysis of center, semantic and extending semantic construal, pointed out in the English ditransitive construction system implementation and the first object semantic constraints. Not only the construal of English ditransitive construction implementation of the voluntary, but found the English ditransitive construction of non voluntary, so many in the ditransitive construction system is considered to be abnormal expressions to construal, formed the English ditransitive construction rational cognitive model.

Abstract (sommario):
The objective of the proposed paper is to gain new knowledge and to verify the existing general knowledge from the area of sustainable development in the bridge and road engineering. The attention is mainly focused on mapping the localities of selected constructions before their commencement or the use of the existing information about these localities, monitoring the selected constructions during their construction and for the relevant period after they are completed. The paper will also describe creation and verification of a model of social acceptability of the construction and performance of economic assessment of the use of natural resources, potential demolition and land reclamation. The connected analyses will concern with the modification of technological procedures of construction to ensure the minimum impact on the surrounding environment.

The construction management maturity model for the proceeding constuction is mainly studied in this paper. As one of the methods of construction management of project, the construction management maturity model can not only be used for evaluating of the construction management ability but also assess the current construction management level of engineering indusdtries to find the gap and provide the approaches of continuous improvement for engineeringl enterprises. In the paper, the characteristics of construction management maturity model of engineering enterprises are first introduced, and then some international construction management maturity models widely applied are compared. Based on the above, the present situation of application of the construction management maturity model in the engineering industries of China and some main problems needed to be resolved for establishment of the construction management maturity model suitable to the architectural enterprises of our country are finally pointed out.

The aim of this paper is first to describe the current achievements regarding digitalization technologies in the engineering and construction sector. The concrete technologies presented are the GIS standards as CityGLM and BIM technologies, and as the EUBIMTG initiative. These two technologies can be applied in a common framework building digital twin environments and platforms. These platforms create a huge capacity of gains for the constructions sector in all phases, and for all the actors, as constructions digitalization has a huge unexplored potential. Most of the participants in the value chain will gain from interventions in the engineering and construction (E&C) phases of design, and engineering, construction and operations. Project management (PM) was described as intervention, which creates potential for new business models to be implemented. Virtual modelling can further develop in the direction of virtualization and construction simulation, and contribute towards the successful digitalization of the E&C sector.

The article considers the role and mission of the customer service in engineering activities during the design and implementation of investment and construction projects. The essence of engineering, its legal definition, types of engineering at different stages of investment projects are revealed, it is determined that the main purpose of cost engineering is to stimulate for economical work, which is possible through the use of effective engineering solutions. The review of theoretical approaches and methodical recommendations to the concept of "engineering activity", "cost engineering", ways of estimation and formation of effective service of the customer on engineering activity at stages of designing, erection of construction objects, commissioning is carried out. Cost engineering has been identified as an integral part of engineering. The legal support of engineering activities is considered. It is proposed to classify engineering activities according to the functional approach in accordance with the stages of investment projects, namely: pre-project engineering - pre-project stage, project engineering - maintenance of project documentation, construction engineering - engineering activities during construction of facilities - commissioned and further operation, cost engineering - cost optimization at all stages of the investment project, not just at the design stage. The author's classification will allow to coordinate the types of engineering activities with the main stages of implementation of investment and construction projects and will facilitate the customer's services to choose areas for improvement of ongoing projects. It has been proposed for the leading Ukrainian universities to conduct advanced training and introduce the second level of higher education in higher education in the specialty "Сost Engineering in Construction".

The article analyzes an efficient method for planning the execution of construction work. Construction companies are looking for ways to reduce the essential factors in executing the construction work project, i.e. cost and time influencing the forthcoming company’s operating results are offered to perform engineering pre-construction activities. Engineering pre-construction is a set of technical, legal, economic, technological and organisational measures that shall ensure a consistent start of construction and a rhythmical organisation of major construction works employing optimum technology. Engineering pre-construction provides great potential for working out rational design solutions with respect to the execution of construction works applying a range of methods for assessing the aforesaid solutions. In this case, mathematical methods play the main role. Mathematical methods enable more effective tackling of the execution issues of construction works as well as developing rational design solutions with respect to the execution of construction works (Janušaitis, Juodis 2001; Juodis, Apanaviciene 2003; Viliuniene, Juodis 2002; Malinauskas, Kalibatas 2005; Viliūnienė, Viliūnas 2005; Viliuniene, Viliunas 2007; Žiogas, Juočiūnas 2005; Janusz, Kapliński 2006; Zavadskas et al. 2009; Šiškina et al. 2009; Medeliene, Ziogas 2010). Practical implementation of such solutions in the course of executing construction works would allow cutting down construction costs and construction time by 15–25% and 16–25% respectively (Viliūnienė, Viliūnas 2005). Besides, the rapid development of computer technology enables both faster preparation of rational design solutions to construction works through the application of mathematical methods and integration thereof into special software packages designed for construction management. Therefore, contractors should realise the significance of engineering pre-construction that is especially important to the execution of expensive large-scale projects. The process of construction execution should be improved applying the project management technique that helps to achieve the set goal within a limited time and with the optimum usage of limited resources. The objective of project management is to plan, organise and control project resources in order to implement the goals of the project. Hence, engineering pre-construction should be considered as an individual construction project stage acting as an engine for planning construction execution, organisation and control, thereby enabling a construction company to focus on profitable results. The article presents the methodology for preparing design solutions to the execution of construction work, which is adapted to handle the practical issues of engineering a pre-construction stage. The execution of complex earth works has been chosen as the subject matter of research.

Material resources are one of the main elements of the construction cost estimate. The nomenclature of material resources includes a large number of items. It is impossible to objectively estimate the construction cost, capital construction, and maintenance works without carrying out monitoring of the prices of constructional resources and accounting for these data in estimates. The purpose of the present study consists in developing an engineering approach to the simulation of pricing in the construction materials’ market. To achieve this purpose, we use mathematical statistics methods such as linear regression and autoregressive integrated moving average, as well as machine learning methods, namely gradient boosting and recurrent neural networks. In consequence of this work, we proposed a scheme to store statistical information based on the SpagoBI business intelligence platform, as well as designed hybrid intelligent predictive model, which allowed automating the engineering approach to the prediction of prices and objectifying advanced analytics of the construction materials’ market. The proposed engineering approach allows predicting the dynamics of the construction materials’ market segments when managing the construction cost at the level of enterprise and the region that will enable adequate decision- making in the course of investment projects development.

Given the advances in science and technology, rapid development of socialist market economy and continuous advance of urbanization, it is necessary to enlarge the scale of engineering construction. As the form of engineering structure becomes more complex, large-scale and high-level projects with deep foundation have appeared in engineering construction. For construction engineering, one of its technologies includes solving the difficulties in construction. It is required to deal with the safety risk of construction in time to guarantee safety construction, timely solve the management difficulties and contradictory problems of the project and ensure both the safety of engineering construction and the rationalization of the institution setting of the safety supervision on the project.Â

Abstract (sommario):
The objective of this experience report was to present the solutions used in the Management Process of the Construction and Assembly project of a Solar Photovoltaic Plant in utilitarian scale, in complex, uncertain and conflicting contexts. As a leading issue, it is intended to demonstrate that new approaches adopted in the project reported here – distinct from the traditional model and practices – allowed the mitigation of the main problems common to construction projects, including divergences between executive project and field activity, delays in delivery and deadlines initially contracted, and consequent additional expenses to the base budget. As a methodology, its theoretical foundation was based on bibliographic survey, addressing aspects such as: project management and life cycle ofthem,integration between the various processes and stakeholders, and Solar Energy on a utilitarian scale, in the scope of construction. This experience report aimed to discuss and demonstrate the approach used in the Guañizuil II A project, located in Argentina, in which agility, flexibility and innovation resulted in the mitigation of delays and additional costs, the achievement of notable records and the development of practical alternatives that can be applied to other construction projects. It is concluded that engineering projects, in their executive phase, need to be aligned with reality in the field, where an adaptive approach can bring positive gains and impacts throughout the life cycle.
