This thesis delves into the issues of communication and evaluation in the field of Information and Communication Sciences (ICS) research.Starting from the idea that science contributes to the progress of society by addressing its concerns - such as health, economy, etc. - various industrialized countries like France invest significant sums to foster its growth. These investments, in turn, lead to prescriptions aimed at ensuring efficient management and impact alignment with development objectives. Thus, the evaluation of public research and its valorization have been institutionalized. Their increasing importance has had disruptive effects on the scientific landscape, including university governance, their missions, relationships with the business world, and knowledge production. At the core of these changes, evaluation influences research policy directions, particularly the choice of thematic priorities and distribution of funding. It instigates a need for individual valorization, seemingly obligating researchers to incorporate the constructed quest for authority and scientific recognition more into their activities.Having always served as a regulator of competition among scholars and a means of disseminating their produced knowledge, has scientific communication become a strategic tool ? The aim of this research is to answer this question. Grounded in a psychosocial model, the Theory of Planned Behavior, it seeks to examine the construction of this possible behavioral change, based on motivation, attitude, perceptions of social norms, and the capacity to drive change and behavioral intention. It also aims to explore the links between these variables and the intention to adapt to evaluation, or even the final adopted behavior. The first part of the study lays the conceptual groundwork for the thesis by examining the relationships between the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), the scientific sphere, the economy, and public policies. It explores the duality between SSH and exact sciences, as well as the impact of digital technology on research. The second part focuses on the researcher as a communicator and subject of evaluation. It discusses various means of scientific communication, including publications, social media, and alternative media, as well as the social implications of communication in the academic domain. The third and final part examines the researcher as a central actor in research. On one hand, it delves into research evaluation aspects, including bibliometrics and university rankings. On the other hand, it presents theories of human behavior, the theoretical model, and research methodology. This enables the presentation of survey results obtained from researchers. In conclusion, the study highlights a constraining perception of scientific evaluation beyond the incentive to publish. It appears as a professional obligation, non-compliance with which can have adverse effects on one’s career. Researchers in SSH generally have a favorable attitude towards change, and the perceived social norms encourage them, while they have confidence in their ability to integrate prescriptions into their communication strategy. Consequently, SSH researchers intend to adapt by constructing adaptive communication, selecting prescriptions that suit them. Ultimately, their adopted behavior consists of formulating a case-by-case strategy based on peer-reviewed publication to obtain various benefits : scientific visibility and recognition, social integration, access to media and political authorities, access to administrative or scientific responsibilities

This dissertation deals with social representation of the research by the students enrolled in a doctoral program in science. It concerns three major subjects: the researcher training, the construction of the professional identity and the social representation of the research. In the first part of the work our theoretical framework is developed. Data analysis, concerning a population of PHD students, is presented in the second part. In the first part, we propose a model to analyse the research training, i. E. , the dissertation work. Next, we analyse how this training contributes to the construction of a professional identity. We show that identity strategies developed by the students have sociological foundations, and they are different for French and not-French students. Finally, we present the social representation theory and we analyse the research as an object of representation. In the second part, empirical results are presented. They concern a set of interviews and a questionnaire. Content analysis results of interviews (done with the program Alceste) are showed. Next, factor analysis of data collected by the questionnaire is presented. They enable us to study the content and the organisation of the social representations. We observed the time stability of the social representation of the research. The students representations exhibit some specific characteristics, acquired in the research activity, but their foundations are not changed. We can find the same essential characteristics of the representation of the research in other social groups (as high school students and non-scientific public). These results strengthen the idea of a determination of the social activity by the representation, when the actors are relatively autonomous

The clinical investigation of work concerning the activities of researchers reveals suffering linked to the rivalries, to the relationships of domination, to the subjective commitment necessary for the use of the practical intelligence; and the negation of this subjective one. The relation between conformity and originality is addressed by the work of objectification and the thesis of a subjectivity conformed by this work. The scientific practice is approached by the models of the sociology of sciences, themselves discussed from a study case based on an investigation by the method of psychodynamic of work in a scientific institution. From a double discussion, with the sociology of science and the psychodynamic of work, the strategic activity seems to be a large part of the researchers’ one. They are exposed to a suffering that leads them to adopt some objectivistic defenses. The incidences of the evaluation methods on the evolution of researcher’s activity, on the modalities of recognition and on the creativity are analyzed by considering the issue of the health. So we consider the researcher as a collective entity, in a collective unit and with his organization of work

In the light of the current evolutions of the device of treatment of retirement pensions, to face the ageing of the employees, the action of seniors within organizations becomes a stake in major management. This search aims at the understanding of the specificities of the relation age-activity professional within the framework of the necessary reinstatement / conservation of quinquas with a prospect of organizational efficiency, emptied of any orientation of instrumentalisation of the troops seniors. The consideration of the property to live professional actors, with objectives of organizational results, can be a frame of reflection in sciences of management. The positive representations are a key of a better collective performance of groups of heterogeneous actors in age. This heterogeneousness is the frame of sets of comparison limiting thecommitment of seniors. The understanding of the mechanisms of gratitude of the actors, as value and manager action, is put as a focal point, a source of knowledge. More exactly, this approach tries to answer the question: how the management of the gratitude adapted to seniors will allow them " to play a role " within organizations by their contributory action the collective performance? To bring elements of answer, we analyze the constituent schemas of the representations of referee of more than 50 years old according to the model cognitiviste proposed by Cossette (2004). From the update of the individual schemas linkin grateful entities, seats of gratitude and commitment, we elaborated and analyzed fifteen cognitive maps of researchers and engineers of search, to pull elements of understanding and explanation, by means of thesoftware Decision investigate. The results bring to light at first the types of gratitude received or waited in terms of means and objective. Two units of time of analysis are then proposed. They allow to distinguish and to move closer to the gratitudes of utility and membership within the framework of interactions connected to the situation, of the gratitude of connected to the personal capacities in echos with the age-related specificities. The crossing, between frame of the units of time, the entities and the seats of gratitude, constitutes)a compass for the possible acts of management of gratitude directed seniors
