It is mainly manifested in the neural perception model of the forms of Chinese characters, the abstraction and integration instinct of biological visuals, the neural cognition of enhanced adaptability and the neural mirror of aesthetic psychological space, which is the source of formulating the rules of Chinese character art, which is a combination of font and meaning.

This paper introduces the nature of the Chinese script, with the focus on its origin and development, the main four kinds of creation methods, the basic strokes of Chinese characters and the significance of its radical structure. The author believes that Chinese characters are the carriers of the script, phoneme and meaning as well as of the grammatical structure of the Chinese language. Hence, the Latin alphabet for the Chinese phonetic system cannot replace Chinese character, and learning Chinese character is very important for foreign learners. Finally, the author gives a mnemonic of the basic rules for stroke order that facilitates learners' memory and helps them write characters correctly and quickly.

Widely considered as a classic feminist work, there are many studies of Gone With the Wind from the perspective of feminism in academia. Most of these studies focus on the feminist spirit of its protagonist Scarlett, while the feminism of another important female character Melanie has always been ignored and even considered as the representation of women who completely accept the repression of patriarchy. Based on the text analysis, this research makes a contrastive analysis of Scarlett and Melanie, analyzes the similarities and differences between them and taps into their feminist spirits from the perspective of feminist literary criticism. By comparing these two female characters, the research finds the two main differences lie in their handling of interpersonal relationships and responses toward patriarchal rules are obvious—— from the perspective of interpersonal relationships, the egoism of Scarlett contrasts with Melanie’s altruism; in the face of the patriarchal rules, Melanie’s female subjectivity and independence are not as noticeable as those of Scarlett. Although the differences between them are obvious, they still share similarities in their subversion towards the patriarchy and their occupation of a position more central than the male characters in Gone with the Wind. This research on these two female characters has implications for further studies of female character creation and feminist literary criticism, as well as the distinctive feminism of Mary Mitchell, reflected in her portrayal of these two female characters.

Abstract: Pronuntiatio teaches charaeter creation and analysis. Because the rhetorical curriculum in the British Renaissance considers pronuntiatio essential, retains the educational goal of facilitas, treats every “text” as a declamation, and depicts inventio, dispositio, elocutio, and memoria in behavioral metaphors with rules mirroring those of pronuntiatio, Renaissance rhetoric is in practice an art of behavior centrally concerned with decorum. This connection between Renaissance rhetoric and ethics suggests a defense for the claim that the good orator is the good man and expands the domain of rhetoric from an art of expression, composition, or persuasion to an art of character-fashioning.

Inheritance by contract complex institution contains two principal, essential areas of legal regulation – inheritance law and law of obligations. These spheres have their own unique character and specific legal order of enforcement – under Private International Law, every sphere of legal regulation has its mandatory rules. Also, due to the complex nature of the institution mentioned above, these two spheres are closely related and often intertwined. These circumstances do not permit the application of the rules of inheritance law apart from the rules of the law of obligations. Application of foreign law in the territory of the national state is performed through the prism of the analysis of conflict rules contained in separate laws and in the regulations governing inheritance by contract institution. Due to the complexity of the contract of inheritance, it is necessary to analyze and prove the conflict rules relating to inheritance law as well as to the rules of the law of obligations. Because inheritance by contract institution has not yet been fixed in legal doctrine, it is necessary to develop completely new approach to the proof of the applicable law in respect of this institution. Līgumiskā mantošana ietver divas prioritāra rakstura tiesību jomas – mantojuma tiesības un saistību tiesības. Šīm jomām ir savs unikāls raksturs un īpaša piemērošanas un izpildes kārtība – katrai jomai ir savi saistošie noteikumi. Šīs sfēras ir cieši saistītas un savstarpēji korelētas, un tas nosaka šī institūta sarežģīto un komplekso raksturu. Šie apstākļi neļauj piemērot mantojuma tiesību sastāvdaļas atsevišķi no saistību tiesību sastāvdaļām, tāpēc ir nepieciešams analizēt mantojuma un saistību tiesību normas un pierādīt metodoloģijas izveidošanas nepieciešamību attiecībā uz piemērojamām mantojuma un saistību tiesību normām, kas regulē tieši līgumisko mantošanu. Tā kā līgumiskā mantošana joprojām nav detalizēti pētīta, ir nepieciešams izstrādāt pilnīgi jaunu pieeju piemērojamo tiesību pierādīšanai attiecībā uz minēto institūtu.

With extensive analysis of current practices for XBRL element naming in the foreign and Chinese taxonomies, several alternative approaches are set out. The considerations are proposed to improve the standardization of taxonomy creation.

The basis of Christian ethics in living together and working is not in rules, but in God's unchanging character. As the image and likeness of God, humans have good social and relational relationships with one another. The problem in this research is that the damage to humans due to sin makes humans no longer able to have the character that comes from God in achieving their life goals and in living together. Humans face many challenges in life so that there is competition for millions of people in a place (Gen. 3: 17-19). Humans throw each other down, hate, jealousy, bribes, injustice happen everywhere. This research uses descriptive theoretical qualitative research methods through literature and biblical studies. The benefit of this research is that through the Christian Religious Education process, Christians are active in teaching and learning the truth of God's Word, teaching God's people that in Christ man is a new creation (Ephesians 2:10) to do good deeds. The conclusion in this research is that with a mind and conscience renewed by Christ, it is possible for humans to develop the world of creation and life together with honesty, holiness, justice and love. Man in Christ finds himself stronger and can bring honor to his Creator. God's character is reflected in the character life of Christians in fulfilling God's purposes. This Christian character cannot be obtained simply through shortcuts but can only be obtained through the process of Christian education.

One of the manifestations of economic globalisation seen in recent years is the so‑called “new generation” type of trade agreements such as the TPP, CETA and TTIP. They aim at trade liberalisation, but their scope is broader, comprising other areas of socio‑economic life, more or less directly linked to trade, such as e.g.: the liberalisation of public services, the mutual recognition of professional qualifications, the deregulation and liberalisation of financial markets, the protection of intellectual property rights, and the cooperation in creating new rules or protecting mutual investments. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyse the scope and content of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) signed in 2016 by the European Union and Canada from the point of view of the Balassa stages of economic integration and the EU’s experience in order to state whether the naming of such agreements as trade agreements, even with the “new generation” qualification, is really justified. The analysis presented in this paper leads to the conclusion that this agreement should rather be included in the category of agreements labelled as integration agreements. Most of the CETA provisions are at the same level of sophistication as was achieved by the EU countries at the stage of building the single market, that is, at the stage of the implementation of the common market in Balassa’s nomenclature, and some of them are at the stage of economic and monetary union. The scope of the CETA, i.e. the number of areas of social and economic life regulated by it as well as their advancement and complexity, goes far beyond what is commonly understood as a trade agreement and beyond its official purpose – the creation of a free trade area between the European Union and Canada. It leads to economic integration at a level far deeper than a free trade area in its classic and common sense.

As one of the most popular types of animation, the success of Japanese campus girl animation is closely related to the character setting that meets the aesthetic needs of the audience. The closed character of the core character is the general feature of Japanese campus girl animation works in character design. The specific expression of the closed character changes with the development of the times. This kind of works can be roughly divided into salvation of each other's relationship between classmates, friendship between teachers and students, and family relations to be remedied. It reflects the ideal psychological needs of girls in seeking pure friendship, yearning for good love, pursuing women's rights, longing for equality between teachers and students, and hoping for family love. There are also some shortcomings in Japanese campus girl animation works, such as paying too much attention to the hero's emotional development, ignoring the pressure of their entrance to school or employment, and so on. It is necessary to further analyze and summarize the rules, so as to learn from and innovate in the creation of Chinese girl animation works.

This paper studies the use of violations of conversation principles in the written dialogue of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones. The aim is to establish if and how these violations aid in making him seem clever. The character's dialogues are matched against three theoretical principles: Politeness Theory, The Cooperative Principle and Turn-taking Principles. The findings suggest that by breaking basic principles of conversation, Tyrion provides entertaining dialogue and manages to create unexpected solutions to different threatening situations. Results show an even distribution of strategic violations, among the three theoretical approaches, which could suggest that the dialogue is consciously written to help make the audience feel impressed by the character's features. Tyrion's violations of conversation principles is a contribution in what makes him seem witty. This ability in the character seems to be closely linked to a lack of fear for any negative social consequences. The character's ability to act free from rules of social behavior could be considered one of the reasons behind his popularity among fans of the show.

Ethical issues involving autonomy, coercion, consent, boundaries, involuntary commitment, and others are inherent in the mental health field. These issues are complicated by the consideration of concepts such as the unconscious mind and transference that are principle components of psychoanalytic theory and practice. Ethical rules can provide a framework in which the practitioner may operate; however, these rules can come into conflict creating a dilemma for the therapist. In addition to ethical rules directing our action, virtues (habits of the heart and mind that are developed through effortful practice and lead to excellence in a defined realm of activity) ask us to adapt certain aspect of character. In virtue ethics, these aspects of character are given more weight in moral assessments relative to strict adherence to rules or outcomes. The authors discuss virtue ethics in the practice of psychoanalysis and illustrate these ideas with a discussion of informed consent.

Online anarchy? Far from it: as this study convincingly shows, norms matter online. In a tour de force, internet law expert Matthias C. Kettemann analyses the genesis, ontology, and legitimation of rule and rules on the internet. Innovatively, the study establishes the emergence of a normative order of the internet, an order that integrates norms materially and normatively connected to the use and development of the internet at three different levels (regional, national, international), of two types (privately and publicly authored), and of different character (from ius cogens to technical standards). Centrifugal forces contribute to normative redundancies (“normative froth”), real conflicts of norms between regulatory layers and geographically bounded normative spheres (“normative friction”), substantial structural problems (“normative fractures”), and political, commercial, and technological fragmentation of the internet. But these forces of normative disorder can be countered. As the study impressively shows, a normative turn has taken place on the internet. The rules on rule-making that have developed within the normative order of the internet explain, predict, and legitimize the creation of new norms through processes of self-learning normativity. These norms are then assessed for their internal coherence, consonance with other order norms, and consistency with the order’s finality. The normative order of the internet is based on and produces a liquefied system characterized by self-learning normativity. Thus a theory of normativity (“of the law”) that goes back to Kant needs to be fundamentally rethought: with norm-based self-organization as the principle of life that enables the transcendental constitution of normativityon the internet.

The world of wage labour seems to have become a soulless machine, an engine of social and environmental destruction. Employees seem to be nothing but ‘cogs’ in this system—but is this true? Located at the intersection of political theory, moral philosophy, and business ethics, this book questions the picture of the world of work as a ‘system’. Hierarchical organizations, both in the public and in the private sphere, have specific features of their own. This does not mean, however, that they cannot leave room for moral responsibility, and maybe even human flourishing. Drawing on detailed empirical case studies, Lisa Herzog analyses the nature of organizations from a normative perspective: their rule-bound character, the ways in which they deal with divided knowledge, and organizational cultures and their relation to morality. She asks how individual agency and organizational structures would have to mesh to avoid common moral pitfalls. She develops the notion of ‘transformational agency’, which refers to a critical, creative way of engaging with one’s organizational role while remaining committed to basic moral norms. The last part zooms out to the political and institutional changes that would be required to re-embed organizations into a just society. Whether we submit to ‘the system’ or try to reclaim it, Herzog argues, is a question of eminent political importance in our globalized world.

AbstractThis chapter has two main objectives: to introduce readers to the main characters of the book, the Zama Zama, or miners, and to outline in detail the process of informal gold mining. The chapter begins with some content on the extent of informal gold mining, followed by a rich ethnographic narrative of Sipho, an informal miner, and his pathway into informal mining. It then explains the process of informal mining in detail, from extraction to when gold enters the formal market. At each point, the story of a key individual involved in mining is discussed. Finally, the chapter concludes by placing informal mining with a decolonial context, showing how the Zama Zama regard mining as a bounty of the land and the Creator. This concept is returned to in subsequent chapters. The overall thesis statement in this chapter is that informal gold mining is a precarious livelihood activity for the poor and marginalised, but is unfused with carefully constructed rules and norms by the Zama Zama.

This chapter discusses the various ways in which computational linguistics has been applied to biblical languages. It describes the development that started in the 1970s and 1980s with the first at-tempts in text representation and that continued with the creation of morphological and syntactic databases. Till the early twenty-first century most computational linguistic approaches concerned rule-based linguistic analysis, which allowed for a systematic and dis-tributional analysis of biblical corpora. Since the beginning of the twenty-first century statistical approaches and machine learning have entered the field of biblical studies, although most of their ap-plications to the Bible still have an experimental character. Because of the various computational approaches that have emerged in the last decades, computational linguistics is not one single theory, but rather an amalgam of approaches in a rapidly changing field. The relation with other linguistic theories is complex, because the data-bases that are used in the computational analysis of the Bible are each rooted in different linguistic theories. However, the various computational approaches have developed further in ways that are typical of computational corpus linguistics and that go beyond the linguistic theories underlying the annotations in the respective da-tabases. Because of the large amount of data it can handle, compu-tational linguistics provides valuable contributions to well-established fields in the study of the biblical languages, such as or-thography or syntax. In addition, more advanced computational techniques, such as author clustering and text-classification pro-vide new ways to approach long-standing problems such as source-critical questions and genre distinctions. The application of compu-tational linguistics to the biblical languages also touches upon fundamental questions about the interpretation of the Bible, be-cause it blurs the traditional distinction between the sciences, con-ceived of as a mode of scholarship involving calculation and pattern recognition, and the humanities, understood as a hermeneutic and critical mode of scholarship. Abstract Rules of monetary conduct, which arise from treaties, in principle apply only as between the contracting Parties. It would be wrong to assume that they express universally binding duties. In some cases, it is true, treaties merely repeat, perhaps in slightly different language, what in essence is a duty imposed by customary international law; the foremost example is the familiar provision whereby States undertake to ‘accord fair and equitable treatment’ to each other’s nationals,1 and which in law is unlikely to amount to more than a confirmation of the obligation to act in good faith, or to refrain from abuse or arbitrariness. In other cases the question may be put whether any of the rules of conventional international law have become so universal in application and so intensive in character as to lead to the creation of rules of customary international law.

Phraseological units, as part of repeated discourse, set out a problem to the well-known thesis of the creative character of language. It is a problem of reason, a false paradox, since phraseological creation is a fact: phraseological units are continuously created from the transformation of something already existing, frequently through phraseological manipulation. Starting from this evidence, this paper shall examine phraseological creativity in contrast to the grammatical one, by offering examples of a very special section of peripheral pragmatic phraseology, called timos by Casares (catchphrases and pet phrases), and in light of some ideas stated by Humboldt and his subsequent commentators. One of them, Chomsky, distinguishes two types of creativity: the first one leaves the language intact, whereas the second one alters grammatical rules. In phraseological creation, it is not easy to apply that distinction; however, this essay shall demonstrate that syntactic rules are equivalent to schemas in the phraseological field.

Sultan Meḥmed II’s second reign (855/1451‑886/1481) signaled the beginning of a new phase in Ottoman scholarship. With an imperial program that developed a highly structured bureaucratic system, Meḥmed II’s new establishment set rigid rules that regulated the scholarly path by establishing prestigious institutions based on merit, codifying a hierarchical order, and creating opportunities for a lifetime career in academia that crossed paths with politics. The Ottoman formation of a new learned class in the fifteenth-century also coincided with (albeit not entirely shaped by) a turning point with the conquest of Constantinople/Ḳosṭanṭiniyye in 857/1453, namely the creation of a new capital distinctly imperial and universalist Muslim in character.

This chapter explores the migration of takanot (halakhic community ordinances) from the French and German lands to the Polish lands. From the late Middle Ages these ordinances were known as the Takanot Shum, the ordinances of the ‘Shum’ communities — Speyer, Worms, and Mainz — in the Rhineland. Their migration from west to east is a particularly fruitful field of investigation because it covers two different areas of Jewish culture. On the one hand, takanot are halakhic texts with a legal character, the creation of which requires one or more scholars. On the other hand, they also have a constitutional and political character since their implementation requires the support of the leadership of the Jewish community. The theory and practice of formulating social rules, as well as their introduction and transmission, are thus a key element of the cultural transfer from the Jews of the west to the Jews in Poland.

The Economic Monetary Union (EMU) has been famously portrayed as a ‘metaphor for the European Union’, involving high stakes for the integration process as a whole. Since its origins, the creation of the EMU was an eminently political project, with a direct bearing on the prospects of the European Union (EU) as a polity, its social model, and its constitutional identity. Yet, the main political aspects of the project were mostly discarded in the process that led to the establishment of the EMU’s institutional structure and its substantive rules. The creation of the common currency was not accompanied by the establishment of supranational institutions with a strong political mandate to accommodate conflicting interests, while the exercise of political autonomy at national level has been increasingly seen as a potential danger for the stability of the whole edifice. The crisis and the ensuing reform of the European economic governance consolidated the technocratic character of the EMU architecture and hardened its grip on national political processes.

The article focuses on H. Fielding’s “A Modern Glossary” that, as it seems, does not correspond to a creation of fiction. Nevertheless namely it convinces in the polysemy and multifunctionality of the playful character of the English writer’s creative art. This playful mode of his works, which literary critics more often link with the aesthetics of Rococo, is not yet attracting a serious attention of investigators. “A Modern Glossary” is Fielding’s ironic-satirical response to the pure linguistic phenomenon — an obvious need of the literary language normalization—as well as to the social-cultural problems, embodied in the language: the fragility and ambiguity of the word “norms” and “rules” of usage, established by the society. The writer’s focusing on the Word in that work provided another projection on a man and the world no less than the utterances of philosophers and all those who tended to the “authentic” lifelikeness in the art.

This chapter focuses on the dangers of authenticity. There are a number of reasons why authenticity should be kept out of politics, why politics should not be personalized. It has been suggested that theories with the best intentions end up with authoritarian conclusions when trying to create political order based on respect for authenticity. The practical precedents are, of course, much worse: the most famous example of a politician basing his legitimacy on a claim of personal authenticity is that of Adolf Hitler. Unrestricted openness and authenticity would lead to confusion, distrust, and, perhaps, the creation of ground rules of even more questionable character. The chapter then explains why the politics of authenticity are bound to become authoritarian. Any political theory that seeks to anchor human personality at one particular point and prevents people, for example, from making mistakes, and hopefully learning from them, is bound to end up coercing people into one particular mold.

A question of great legal importance, both in national and international legislation, is how and in what way interpersonal relations were regulated within ancient and primitive human com- munities before the emergence of modern law and legal regulations. There has always been a need to regulate interpersonal relations and to set certain rules that would have a binding character in relation to community members. For this purpose, customs played a role, cre- ated under the great influence of morality and tradition, religion and religious dogmas, certain superstitious and primitive principles and principles, but with one clear goal, namely the protection of order and the creation of rules of conduct. The paper deals with the issue of the existence of international customs, their relationship with international public and international private law, as well as international criminal law. Also, the question of the relationship of international customs in the context of the source of international law, as well as the influence of customary law on the modern international legal order, is raised.

In Story-based videogames, the Author has an intended story he wishes to communicate to the player and carefully constructs it to arouse specific sentiments, such as empathy towards characters, which support the development of the narrative as he had imagined it. However, the main obstacle of interactive narratives is reconciling intended storylines with the players’ always unique sense-making of the narrated events. In this paper, we investigate this matter by analyzing the post-apocalyptic videogame The Last of Us Part II (Naughty Dog, 2020). The plot unexpectedly sees Joel, the main character of the first installment and fatherly figure to co-protagonist young woman Ellie, killed by a woman named Abby under Ellie’s eyes. After the murder, players suddenly switch from controlling Ellie to playing as Abby for a long section of the game, with the authorial intent to show them her side of the story. After about 10 hours, the game reaches a climax in which the player is forced to attempt to kill Ellie while still controlling Abby.This videogame is particularly interesting in the attempt of creating empathy towards videogames characters, as the intended target of the sympathy (i.e., Abby) was initially introduced as a villain in the story. To study this matter in-depth, we have selected the three most viewed gameplay videos on YouTube commented by English-speaking players and the three most viewed commented by Italian speakers. Successively, performance and discourse analysis were performed on the gameplay sections immediately before and during the climax. We have independently analyzed the six videos and identified shared recurring themes.In the section before the climax, players are shown the bodies of Abby’s friends killed by Ellie: a dog, a man, and a pregnant woman. Remorse was often demonstrated by players at the sight of the dog’s body, yet some players justified the human killings. Interestingly, five out of six players manifested their dissent with the authorial choice of the climax, verbally and physically refusing to harm Ellie. Most players across the two languages engaged in verbal protests and self-sabotage, such as intentionally running out of ammunition, making noise to be discovered by Ellie, and ultimately and deliberately seeking death as Abby, leading to multiple intentional game overs. Besides, most players praised Ellie and her craftiness, skill, and speed. This indicates that these players’ empathy towards Abby, however present to some extent, was apparently not strong enough to justify killing Ellie.These results give relevant insights about storytelling in videogames and the creation of empathy, underlining the importance of discriminating between the creation of cognitive and emotional empathy. That is, even though players cognitively commiserated Abby because of the suffering she endured, they were apparently too emotionally attached to Ellie to let this feeling prevail. Finally, the climax section can act as a starting point for an interesting discourse related to breaking the contract between an author unintentionally disincentivizing the player to do well and a player who refuses to play according to the rules.

Visual arts-mediated education and training are inherent to the learning process irrespective of its traditional, digital, or hybrid formats. Photography entails creative functions while the image creator implicitly needs to be enabled through training to produce compositions that observe communication rules while simultaneously breaking wittingly the same rules. The current paper identifies quality criteria underlying highly rated photographs and features an artistic composition-based section. The main factors that influence the composition are the rule of thirds (division, point of interest), repetition (frequency, constant, resumption), symmetry (weight, variety, middle), HSL (Hue, Saturation, Brightness), empty space, use of background (subtle, main, flattening), balance (harmony, chromatic, unity), hierarchy (focus, eye direction). Many masterpieces are consciously eluding the above rules. The images are rioting against the mundanity and impersonal. The photographic composition escapes from the templates shown above, the images arouse the viewer, who needs a "key" to decipher them. This kind of visual approach has a semantic load that raises it above the fast-comprehension photo if the viewer makes the effort to accept and decipher it. The suggested artistic compositions are manually segmented into areas of interest (objects, lines, characters, etc.) accompanied by well-articulated interpretations, as they are perceived by a visual arts connoisseur. Furthermore, the authors describe sets of image data currently used in the automated assessment of image quality: IDEA, Painting-91, SCUT-FBP5500, Waterloo IAA, IAD, AVA, GPD, FACD, NU FOOD, CUHKPO, BAM, NNID. The paper is simultaneously a starting point for a subsequent set of high-quality photographs and an adequate learning resource for fields of study such as multimedia, arts, and social media.

Kinetic typography - text in motion is an animation method of characters that has a video form instead of some "static" form such as picture, poster or book. The most important element for figuration of kinetic typography is the choice of font. Furthermore, one should think about the letter cut, the size and color of the characters, and the background color on which the animation takes place. It can be created in various ways, most often using software that applies a multitude of effects to the text or letter character, creating dynamic solutions. The effects vary from the simplest such as "fade-in" and "fade-out" (entering and exiting text in and out of the frame). Static characters can expand, narrow, move slowly or rapidly, grow and change in a variety of ways to very complex ones in which the author builds an entire story or promotional video by carefully combining software capabilities. However, each software has its limitations and for this reason the kinetic typography presented in this paper is programmed using codes. In a wide range of available programming languages due to the simple interface that does not require advanced programming concepts and gives exceptional results in the field of kinetic typography, Processing was chosen. The Processing programming language is intended for generating and modifying graphics and is based on the Java programming language. The most important difference between Processing and Java is that Processing offers a simple programming interface that does not require advanced levels of programming such as classes, objects, or animations. It also allows advanced users to use them. Processing uses a variety of typography rendering approaches such as raster and vector solutions and allows typography to be programmed and displayed on the Web independently of the user's Web browser and font database. Processing enables the use of visual elements in animation, including typographic ones, by introducing interaction to the user. The user is no longer a passive observer but actively participates in the performance of the application whose final appearance is not predefined but arises from the actions of each individual user. For the purposes of this paper, individual letters were created in a font-making program. The letters made are of various written classifications and cuts, which with their variety contribute to the attractiveness of the animation. In the creating of motion typography in this paper, the programming language Processing was used. Written program codes that manipulate words, letters, or parts of characters to create interesting visual effects for the viewer that aim to hold the viewer's attention and convey the desired message or emotion. There are no strict rules and patterns when making kinetic typography. In kinetic typography, each author determines his own rules, method of production, and there are no same solutions.

During the operation of oil wells, their flow rates decrease not only due to a reservoir pressure drop but also because the permeability of the bottomhole formation zone (BFZ) decreases because of the fall-out of asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits, colmatization by process fluids, formation of fracture particles, salt deposits, etc. The productivity of such wells can be restored by applying various oil production enhancement (OPEM) methods. Choosing the most effective OPEM, developing the treatment design and predicting well productivity increase is currently done, as a rule, by being based on experimental studies with subsequent application of physical and computer modeling methods. At the same time, to determine experimentally the permeability change coefficient of the reservoir rock by implementing one or other OPEM, using natural cores is a desirable option. They are a source of unique information about the reservoir rock and the character of fluid filtration there-in. Natural cores are extracted from the well at the drilling stage and, as a rule, they are available either in limited quantities or are completely absent. In this case, experimental studies are carried out on artificial cores made by special technologies. At the same time, it is very important and relevant that they have morphological, mineralogical, and filtration-capacity properties (FCP) as close as possible to those of natural cores. Only in this case, we can talk about the adequacy of the physical model and the accuracy of the results of experimental studies, which, in turn, are the initial ones for mathematical modeling. The goal of this project is to bring up awareness on the safety of endangered species by creating an educational game called "Panda." [4]. By selecting a panda as the main character, which symbolizes endangered species, the game aims to engage players in learning about the challenges these animals face [5]. In the game, players manipulate a panda and strive to survive as long as possible while encountering various threats such as car accidents, predators, and hunters. To enhance the educational aspect, a fact sheet pops up after each panda death, informing the player about the human causes behind the panda's demise and suggesting preventive measures. For instance, if a panda dies in a car accident, the fact sheet would highlight the staggering statistic of 1 to 2 million wildlife deaths caused by car accidents annually in the U.S. It would also recommend supporting the Roadless Rule as a means to reduce such accidents [6]. Although the proposed solution is promising, its effectiveness still requires validation as the game is relatively unknown and has been played by only a few individuals. Future plans involve conducting surveys among a larger player base to assess the game's impact and ascertain whether the desired awareness and behavioral changes regarding endangered species conservation are achieved.

"One of the recurring motifs in Roald Dahl works whether leading to the plot’s unfolding or not, is the peculiar nutritional habits and, by extension, everything connected with it, such as socio-emotional behaviors and concepts of the dietary rules’ infringement. Looking at The Twits’ distorted dietary hygiene, George’s Marvellous Medicine’s disorientated nutritional advices and The BFG’s disgusting essential goods, it can be observed that the food as an act and its processes, are cultural notions identifying current concepts of not only the excesses and the adult’s control upon children, but also the pedagogically proper nutrition. A reading of the interpretations carried by food’s humorous representations in Dahl’s aforementioned classics is ventured. The ways of how children’s literature depicts the characters’ nutritional attitudes and their possible implications on their behavior are analyzed. While proceeding, the design of a storytelling intervention on promoting dietary self-regulation is proposed for kindergarten. A series of narrative and creative writing activities of subverting and parodying Dahl’s works, which aim to familiarize preschoolers with notions such as nutritional balance, food hygiene and eating habits, is presented. Dahl’s humorous and extreme carnivalesque depiction of nourishment, followed by an exaggerated deviation of normal eating habits, is what could provoke and motivate preschoolers to shape a healthy nutritional attitude and a dietary self-regulation. The contribution of this particular study is to highlight children’s literature significant role as a means of influencing children’s thinking on fundamental issues related with their health, and to demonstrate storytelling’s dynamics as a teaching tool for shaping their attitudes towards life matters."
