Die folgenden Ausführungen dienen dazu, zunächst unabhängig von dem von Bach hinterlassenen Oeuvre die Regelungen zur hamburgischen Kirchenmusik zu skizzieren. Ausgangspunkt der Darstellung bilden neu aufgefundene Zeitungsdokumente. Ferner soll geschildert werden, mit welchem Repertoire und auf welche Weise Bach die Gottesdienstmusik bestritt, bevor ein vorläufiger Aufführungskalender für die Jahre 1775 und 1788 abschließend diskutiert wird.

Abstract (sommario):

I detta examensarbete skapades illustrationer och modeller i digital 3D-grafik, föreställande den svenske skalden Carl Michael Bellman (1740 - 1795). Förebild för arbetet var en 2D-bild i detta fall Per Krafft d.ä:s (1724 - 1793) målning av Bellman från 1779. Arbetet utfördes med föresatsen att åstadkomma en så realistisk återgivning av en verklig karaktär som var rimligt tidsmässigt. Den modellerade karaktären poserades och renderades i flera bilder. Den praktiska delen av arbetet resulterade alltså i en remediering av en målning till digital 3D-grafik. Remedieringarna av karaktären Bellman utformades för att användas i en undersökning som syftade till att studera följande: Vilken typ av komplikationer skulle remediering av kulturarv kunna innebära? Om det finns komplikationer, är dessa i så fall olika beroende på syftet med den realistiska gestaltningen, exempelvis om den utförs i undervisnings- eller underhållningssammanhang? Studien utvärderades via en kvalitativ undersökning, med frågor till tre informanter vilka arbetar som museipedagog (konst- och kulturhistoriker), antikvarie (arkeolog) samt författare/journalist (medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap). Undersökningsresultatet redovisas i en diskuterande text där även en diskussion förs om framtida arbete.

Denna rapport är ett exmensarbete vid Karlstads Universitet på uppdrag av Saab Dynamics AB. Målet var att granska alla de ingående komponenterna för en systemintegration av vapnet Carl-Gustaf M4, Trackfire och Patria XA-360 AMV, för att sedan genomföra en konceptstudie för en av komponenterna. Projektet fokuserades på att konstruera en infästning för Carl-Gustaf M4 på Trackfire med mål att infästningen ska rymma tre stycken vapen. Den slutliga konstruktionen modellerades i 3D Experience och består av en balk med sex stycken överfall som rymmer tre Carl-Gustaf M4. En FEM-simulering som gjordes i ANSYS Workbench 18.1 visade att spänningarna som uppkom vid skott översteg tillåtna belastningar för materialet som har valts. Förslag på konstruktionsförbättringar som har angetts är bland annat byte av material eller förlängning av fästjärnen på balken.
This bachelor thesis is a project at Karlstad University assigned by Saab Dynamics AB. The objective was to examine all components for a system integration of Carl-Gustaf M4, Trackfire and Patria XA-360 AMV and perform a concept study for one of the components. The focus of the project was to design an attachment for Carl-Gustaf M4 on Trackfire with the ambition that the attachment shall contain three weapons. The final construction was modeled in 3D Experience and consists of a beam with six weapon brackets which contains three Carl-Gustaf M4. A FEM simulation that was made in ANSYS Workbench 18.1 showed that the stresses that occurred by shot exceeded allowed stresses for the material that was chosen. A proposal for design improvements that have been specified includes change of material or extension of the fastener on the beam.

Denna uppsats handlar om processen att snöra, stoppa och klä Carl Malmstens fåtölj ”Solo”. Den handlar om de vägval som tapetserar ställs inför i sin vardag gällande design och funktion. Uppsatsen består främst av en djupgående beskrivning som redogör för arbetsgångens process med syftet att förstå varför vissa val görs och hur de påverkar de kommande momenten. Bereits in jungen Jahren hatte Carl Ferdinand Becker eine Sammelleidenschaft an jeglicher Art von musikhistorischer Betrachtung. Vor allem Musikdrucke und –handschriften sowie musikhistorische Werke aus dem 15. Jahrhundert bis zu seiner Zeit gerieten in sein Blickfeld. Das zu seiner Zeit völlig vernachlässigte und unbekannte Repertoire wird heute als musikalische Universalbibliothek angesehen. Im Jahre 1865 übergab Becker seinen „Schatz“ an die Stadtbibliothek Leipzig. In den Jahren 2010-2012 wird die gesamte Sammlung nun in die internationale Quellendatenbank RISM und in den SWB eingepflegt.

Die Ausstellung veranschaulicht vom 24. Januar bis 14. April 2013 mittels einiger ausgewählter Handschriften und Drucke die Entstehung und Bedeutung der Bibliothek Carl Ferdinand Beckers. Es werden erste Stücke der Sammlung, seltene Drucke, unikale Quellen und Objekte gezeigt, die aufgrund ihrer Provenienz kulturgeschichtlich und musikhistorisch wertvolle Informationen enthalten. Oft besprochen, aber selten zu bewundern, überragt dabei das „Andreas- Bach-Buch“, eine Sammelhandschrift mit größtenteils einmaligen Klavier- und Orgelkompositionen des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts aus dem Umfeld und partiell von der Hand Johann Sebastian Bachs die anderen Exponate.

This work is premised on the assumption that the excuses for not engaging properly with Carl Andre's corpus will not stand forever, and that his art is capable of sustaining considerably more attention than it has been afforded to date. Focusing predominantly on a select number of works from 1959 (when Andre moved to New York City) to 1976 (the year of the media orchestrated uproar over the Tate Gallery's purchase of Equivalent VIII) this dissertation assessesth e singular nature of his brand of late modernism. Much to the chagrin of many, few US artists of the 1960s aligned themselves so intimately with a Marxist cause or thought so carefully about art's commodity status. This project takes these facts seriously and attempts to approach the art accordingly. The works discussed include America Drill (1963), the Equivalents (1966), Lever (1966), Gold Field (1966), 5x 20 Altstadt Rectangle (1967), Joint (1968), Quincy Book (1973), Twelfth Copper Corner (1975) and Manet (1980).

This 15 point thesis is carried out at Saab Dynamics AB in Karlskoga. The company produces defense material aimed at the Swedish market and for export. The task was to make a survey of the current zeroing procedure for Sub Caliber Adapter for 84 mm recoilless rifle Carl Gustaf, and to examine the accuracy of the tools used today for zeroing. Measurements performed show that some of the tools has good accuracy for zeroing of Sub Caliber Adapter 20 mm withe other tools are not so good. The accuracy for zeroing of Sub Caliber Adapter 7.62 mm is not sufficient With a suitable design it is possible to produce tools with good accuracy for zeroing of Sub Caliber Adapters.

Les sources orientales, en particulier, les philosophies indiennes classiques,eurent un écho considérable dans la pensée de Jung. Le psychiatre suisse porte un regard à la fois critique et admiratif sur la spiritualité indienne, il tient compte des complexités de l'univers philosophique indien. On s'interrogera sur la manière dont Jung interprète les textes indiens sous l'angle de la psychanalyse en montrant en quoi les sotériologies indiennes et le bouddhisme se rapprochent des médecines de l'âme occidentales
The purpose of our thesis is to bring to light the various contributions of Indianphilosophies that have influenced the works of Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961).Oriental sources, and Indian classical philosophies in particular, found asignificant echo in Jung's thought. The Swiss psychiatrist takes a look at Indianspirituality that is at once critical and admiring, taking into account thecomplexities of the Indian philosophical world. Our questions will revolvearound Jung's method of interpretation of Indian texts from a psychoanalyticalperspective, showing in the process the closeness of Indian soteriologies and ofBuddhism to the Western healing practices of the soul

This dissertation is a study on the works of the Swedish author Carl Jonas Love Almqvist during the final years of his exile in America. Focusing on the monumental 1438-page unpublished manuscript 'About Swedish Rhymes', the study first presents the textual material and then discusses the text from different formal and content-based aspects essential to an understanding of Almqvist's works in exile. In the manuscripts preserved from his last years of exile, i.e. the period after 1860, Almqvist refers to 'Mr Hugo's Academy, established in the year 1838' introduced in one of the volumes of The Book of the Wild Rose (1839). In comparison with his earlier fiction about academic "cabinet meetings", this fiction of such an academy, conceived in exile, is in some ways extraordinary. A close reading of the texts reveals that the aging Almqvist, contrary to previous opinions about him, maintained strict control over the activity: the extension and division of the record, as well as its references to time and space, all indicate a complete consistency and an exact mimetic order. The consideration of 'About Swedish Rhymes' starts out from exterior qualities. The observations are first considered in relation to the author's statements on the importance of the manuscript for the literary work of art. Subsequently, the genesis of the "exile" texts is re-examined. One key question here is whether the manuscript was completed in Philadelphia, or was continued in Bremen during the final year of his life. The content of the conversations in the records of the cabinet meetings is also analyzed. Although questions of metre and versification dominate, the text also deals with a variety of widely differing subjects, including discussions about the use of language and linguistic norms. The fictitious frame that the cabinet meeting provides for the purpose of discussing metre and rhyme is also considered. Here we find various improvised verses composed at the cabinet meeting and put into the mouth of the authentic versifier H.J. Seseman. One important question is whether the cabinet-meeting discussions about the metre in these verses are intended to be a serious contribution to scholarly debate, or whether they in fact have ironic undertones. Next, the narration of the "exile" texts is discussed from the point of view provided by its own fictitious perspective, together with the author’s relation to irony, satire and parody. The concluding chapter deals with verse-making in the record of rhyming. The emphasis is laid on the analysis and characterization of the various rhymed verses collected under the title Sesemana. One essential question concerns the 'rubbishy' or 'plain' character of these poems. The present analysis indicates that questions of rubbish, textual triviality and the like must bow to the broader question of the character of the poems in a deeper sense. Seseman's poetry is considered in relation to the Songes collection. Finally the question of how rhythm manifests itself as 'free verse' in a number of these poems with more serious content is also discussed.

Poeta de vanguarda, historiador e teórico da arte, Carl Einstein (1885-1940) foi mediador cultural entre França e Alemanha, cofundador da revista Documents (1929) junto com George Bataille, Michel Leiris, Georges Wildenstein e George-Henri Rivière. Pertenceu ao círculo de Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler, conheceu Picasso, Braque, Gris e Léger. Uma compreensão do cubismo para além da pintura, uma história da arte como luta de experiências ópticas, espaços inventados e figurações e a reformulação de conceitos enraizados na tradição alemã são alguns aspectos que caracterizam seu pensamento. Por um lado, um cubismo que não remete à representação do objeto e sim a um processo visual e mental por parte do artista e do observador, no qual o objeto é o resultado desse duplo processo. Por outro, uma escrita engajada o leva a encerrar o Georges Braque (1934) com a frase o mito foi reintegrado ao real, e a poesia se torna o elemento originário da realidade. A reintegração do mito enquanto criação de realidade, e a poiesis, ação que transforma e da sentido ao mundo, são as alternativas introduzidas por Carl Einstein para uma arte, e uma história da arte, que não considere os objetos como reflexo do mundo exterior e sim como criadores do mundo exterior dos homens. O objetivo desta tese é acompanhar e analisar sua relação com a Kunstwissenschaft, assim como as transformações às quais submete os conceitos, para assim apreender a singularidade do seu pensamento.
Avant-garde poet, historian and art theorist, Carl Einstein (1885-1940) was a cultural actor between France and Germany as well as co-founder of Documents (1929), together with George Bataille, Michel Leiris, Georges Wildenstein and George-Henri Riviere. He was part of Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler’s circle and kept friendship with Picasso, Braque, Gris and Léger. His understanding of Cubism as a process beyond painting, his approach of art history as the struggle of optical experiences, invented spaces figurations, his reformulation of concepts deeply rooted in the German tradition are some of the aspects that characterize the originality of his thought. On one hand, the Cubist proposal does not imply a representation of the object, but a visual and mental process undergone by both the artist and the observer where the object is the result of this dual process. On the other, an engagement with language drove Einstein to end his Georges Braque (1934) with the phrase myth was reintegrated to the Real, and poetry becomes the originating element of reality. Restoring myth as a means for the creation of reality, and poiesis, an action that transforms and gives sense to the world, are the alternatives introduced by Carl Einstein into an art, and art history, which does not consider objects as reflection of an outside world but as creators of the outer world of men. This dissertation follows and analyzes Einsteins relationship with the discipline known as Kunstwissenschaft and the transformations to which he submitted some of its concepts in order to understand the singularity of his thought.

Es muß eine Begegnung des Leipziger Philosophieprofessors Ludovici ( 1707-1778) mit dem fast gleichaltrigen Verleger Johann Heinrich Zedler (1706-1751) gegeben haben, vermutlich im Jahre 1737. Für Zedler war diese Begegnung ein Moment in der Beilegung einer Krise, in welche ihn das Mammutuntemehmen seines Großen vollständigen Universal-Lexicon gebracht hatte. Zedler konnte Ludovici als Redakteur seines Lexikons gewinnen. Ludovicis Herausgeberscbaft war für Zedler ein Gewinn und sicherte das geordnete Erscheinen der restlichen fast 50 Bände bis zum Ende des Alphabets 1750 und darüberhinaus bis zum Ende der Supplementbände 1754. Was aber bedeutete die Herausgebertätigkeit für Ludovici? Was konnte einen philosophischen Freund von Leibniz und Wolff an der Tätigkeit eines Lexikographen reizen?

The present research proposes, from an interview conducted with high school students in a regular school, and a literature search on the humanistic approach of Carl Rogers, to discuss the applicability of the author’s theories in high school education. It is introduced, first, the information about the school in which the survey was conducted, as well as the characteristics of the interviewed group. Also, it is presented the “etnopesquisa”, methodology chosen for this work. Hereafter, I perform a study of the humanistic approach of Carl Rogers for Psychology and Education, showing his approach as a counterpoint to B.F. Skinner behaviorism, which also gained strength in the 1970s. Thus, pointing out that the current education model followed by the school, to focus the schooling on examinations for entering college, is not promoting meaningful learning, that is, learning that motivates changes in thinking and behavior in students. The interview analysis shows that students, despite not knowing Carl Rogers and his approach, are looking for an education fairly close to that suggested by the author. From the Rogers approach, it is suggested a more reflective school, centered on the student, where he or she will pass through a self-discovery process and therefor, a meaningful learning experience, having the teacher as a facilitator of this process.
O presente trabalho de pesquisa tem como proposta, discutir a aplicabilidade da abordagem humanista de Carl Rogers na educação de ensino médio. O ponto de partida foi uma entrevista realizada com alunos de ensino médio de uma escola particular na cidade de São Paulo. A metodologia empregada foi a etnopesquisa, uma vez que o pesquisador e seu objeto estão imbricados; primeiramente foram descritas, as informações sobre a escola em que foi realizada a pesquisa, bem como as características da turma entrevistada. Posteriormente, foi apresentado um estudo sobre a abordagem humanista de Carl Rogers, mostrando sua abordagem como um contraponto ao Behaviorismo de B.F. Skinner, que também ganhava força na década de 1970. A experiência descrita nessa pesquisa buscou vivenciar um modelo que gerou alteridade ao atual modelo de educação do ensino médio seguido pela escola, de focar a aprendizagem nas provas de vestibular, que não promove a aprendizagem significativa, isto é, uma aprendizagem que provoque mudanças de pensamento e comportamentos nos alunos. A análise da entrevista mostrou que os alunos, apesar de não conhecerem a teoria de Carl Rogers e sua abordagem, estão em busca de uma educação bastante próxima à sugerida pelo autor. A partir da abordagem de Rogers, e das experiências durante as aulas de Sociologia e Filosofia, foi constatado que é possível ter uma escola mais reflexiva, centrada no aluno, em que este passe por um processo de autodescoberta para que então possa significar sua aprendizagem, tendo o professor como um facilitador deste processo.

A pesquisa apresenta uma discussão interdisciplinar da questão História e Literatura, admitindo contribuições teóricas da Sociologia e da Antropologia.

This study investigates the representation of the German immigrant in Rio Grande do Sul in O Continente (1949), by Erico Verissimo. For that, analyses the narrative resources used by the writer in the construction the imaginary personage and approaches the importance of the literal text to propose a perspective of historical process. My master´s thesis ?Carl Nielsen ? Concerto for clarinet from the soloist´s perspective? is dealing with interpretation problems, that can appear while studiing the Concerto for clarinet and orchestra Op. 57 written by Carl Nielsen. I have studied this technically as well as musically demanding composition for more than two years. Regarding the time I have spent studiing this work practically and theoretically, I had the oportunity to detect and solve it´s difficulties, practically verifiing my results on the stage. In the second chapter Origins of the concert, I refer, not only to the circumstances of the genesis of the work, but also the musical influences of the composer.

Es muß eine Begegnung des Leipziger Philosophieprofessors Ludovici ( 1707-1778) mit dem fast gleichaltrigen Verleger Johann Heinrich Zedler (1706-1751) gegeben haben, vermutlich im Jahre 1737. Für Zedler war diese Begegnung ein Moment in der Beilegung einer Krise, in welche ihn das Mammutuntemehmen seines Großen vollständigen Universal-Lexicon gebracht hatte. Zedler konnte Ludovici als Redakteur seines Lexikons gewinnen. Ludovicis Herausgeberscbaft war für Zedler ein Gewinn und sicherte das geordnete Erscheinen der restlichen fast 50 Bände bis zum Ende des Alphabets 1750 und darüberhinaus bis zum Ende der Supplementbände 1754. Was aber bedeutete die Herausgebertätigkeit für Ludovici? Was konnte einen philosophischen Freund von Leibniz und Wolff an der Tätigkeit eines Lexikographen reizen?

I denna studie analyseras kung Carl XVI Gustafs kommunikation och hantering av media i samband med den kris som utspelade sig efter att boken Carl XVI Gustaf – den motvillige monarken publicerats. Utifrån den post som kung Carl XVI Gustaf besitter och som finansieras av svenska skattemedel finns det ett samhällsintresse i att studera och granska kungahuset närmare. Denna studie tar upp ett tämligen outforskat perspektiv nämligen kung Carl XVI Gustafs kriskommunikation. Det material som ligger till grund för analysen är de tre tillfällen där han mötte media i samband med utgivandet av boken. De teorier som ligger till grund för denna studie är faller inom kriskommunikation och retorik. Eftersom boken behandlar kung Carl XVI Gustafs privatliv diskuteras också gränsdragningen mellan privat och offentligt samt hur kriser kan påverka förtroendet. Den metod som brukas är Karlberg och Mrals retoriska analysmodell. Studien visar att kung Carl XVI Gustaf till en början har en mer avslappnad och humoristisk ton i sin retorik. Detta står i kontrast med den mer formella och ansträngda retoriken som kung Carl XVI Gustaf brukar senare i sin krishantering. Utifrån rådande riktlinjer inom kriskommunikation rekommenderas att agera snabbt och föra en tydlig dialog vilka är två aspekter som kung Carl XVI Gustaf bryter mot. Av Benoits försvarsstrategier använder kung Carl XVI Gustaf ett flertal men förnekelsestrategin är den som brukas i högst utsträckning.
This study analyzes how His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf communicated and managed media concerning the crisis that took place in connection with the publication of the book Carl XVI Gustaf – den motvillige monarken. Due to the fact that he is king of Sweden and that his work is financed by Swedish taxpayers there is a public interest in studying him and the royal family closer. This study touches on a rather unexplored perspective, namely His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf’s crisis communication. The material that creates the foundation for this study is the three times where he meets media in connection with the publication of the book. The theories used to create the foundation in this study are rhetoric and crisis communication. Due to the fact that the book mentions things from his private life a discussion concerning private and public will be held and how crises might have an impact on trust. The method that will be used is Karlberg and Mral’s rhetorical analysis model. The study shows that His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf at first has a more relaxed and humorous rhetoric. This stands in contrast to the more formal and strained rhetoric used later in his crisis management. According to current guidelines in crisis communication organizations are recommended to act fast and keep a clear communication, two aspects that he seems to go against. Of Benoit’s defense strategies His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf seems to use several, although the denial strategy seems to be the most frequently used.

This project investigated the origin of ancient continents (more than 2.5 billion years old) that are often thought to form by shallow melting in the Earth’s mantle. Here, modelling and analysis of rock chemistry show deep melting is much more likely to produce the rocks and minerals observed, including minerals trapped in diamonds. A new formation model for ancient continents is presented that can explain the hottest lavas to ever erupt on Earth, and the association of diamonds with very chemically depleted rocks.

This thesis investigates representations of masculinities and the father figure in the Swedish painter Carl Larsson’s (1864-1919) self-portraits from 1895. The paintings are analysed through the concepts authority, a term closely connected to the father figure, and idyll, a term often used to describe Larsson’s art. Sara Ahmed’s theory to see beyond what is taken for granted, in Queer Phenomenology, is theoretical starting point for the thesis. The analytical method is adopted from Tamar Garb’s Bodies of Modernity. Figures and Flesh in Fin-de-Siécle France. The conclusion is that the masculinities in Larssons’s father figure are coherent with the paterfamilias in the late 1900s, consisting of the provider, the authority figure, and the husband/lover. Furthermore, that the idyll is constructed by those with the authority to construct it, and that the authority thereby is defined by the idyll it constructs.
Uppsatsen undersöker maskuliniteter genom bildanalyser av två självporträtt av Carl Larsson där han framställer sig som både far och konstnär. Bilderna har analyserats med hjälp av begreppen auktoritet, som traditionellt har varit sammankopplat med fadern, och idyll, som har blivit i det närmaste synonymt med Larssons konst. Sara Ahmeds queera fenomenologi har använts som teoretisk utgångspunkt för att undersöka det som kan ses som det förgivettaga, här formulerat som idyllen. Bildanalyserna har gjorts med utgångspunkt i Tamar Garbs metod för bildanalys i Bodies of Modernity. Figures and Flesh in Fin-de-Siécle France. Undersökningen visar att det i Larssons fadersgestalt går att utläsa samtliga aspekter av 1800-talets paterfamiliaskonstruktion, såsom den formuleras av Joseph A Kestner; familjeförsörjaren, auktoritetsfiguren och maken/älskaren. Undersökningen visar också att den idyllen konstrueras av den som har auktoritet att göra det och att auktoriteten därmed definieras av den idyll den konstruerar. Carl Larssons idyllkonstruktion är därigenom resultatet av ett utövande av den auktoritet han har i egenskap av man, make, far och konstnär.

Despite its enduring popularity in performance circles, Carl Nielsen's Wind Quintet, op. 43 (1922), has received little attention from the scholarly community. This thesis provides the most comprehensive examination of the work to date and includes original analyses of each of the three movements. Moreover, it illuminates and defines stylistic trademarks that are found not only in this piece, but also within Nielsen's oeuvre more broadly. These traits include the weakening of tonal design, the liberal use of chromatic harmonies, contrapuntal writing, and the allusion to and distortion of traditional forms. This thesis highlights Nielsen's synthesis of traditional and idiosyncratic elements and thereby situates his music amid an emerging trend in European compositions of the time: the anachronistic use of historical models (Hyde).
