Abstract (sommario):
The article is a follow-up of the previous publications by Yu. N. Stolyarov “Documentology: The backgrould and development” and “The basic postulates of documentology as the general theory of documents”. The author substantiates the need for developing the library documentology as an individual discipline with its specific subject, specific document definition, and specific content. The subjects of library document studies are the primary and secondary document; technological document; accompanying document; and administrative document (record). The library workflows are based on procedural documents that form the class of administrative documents that ensure the optimal functioning of the library. Administrative documents in the library, as in other legal entities, are grouped into large subclasses: planning, accounting, reporting, personnel, financial documents, etc. Among them, the managerial documents are mostly important as they are to support the entire management process. Beside these subclasses, the accompanying documentation forms the subclass that makes an essential part of the collection, namely technological, and administrative documentation. To separate the fundamental library concepts of the document, the author proposes to adopt a specific definition for each document process. The library collection document is information specific for the library that is fixed or to be fixed. Fixed information refers to the diachronous, discrete documents, information to be fixed (continuously and to be continuously updated) refers to synchronous (existing at the time of retrieval), continuous (having only the beginning) document. The author defines library documentation as the systematized collection of internal documents. The tasks and purpose of these documents are determined by the specific of library technological tasks and functions. The author insists on developing the key provisions and, above all, the terms of library documentology.

Abstract (sommario):
We propose a new generative probabilistic Dirich- let Author-Topic (DAT) Model for extracting information about authors and topics from large text collections. DAT is a three-level hierarchical Bayesian model. The model builds on the Author Topic (AT) model, adding the key attribute that distribution over author is conditioned on a Dirichlet prior. The probability distribution over topics in a multi-author document is a mixture of the distributions associated with the authors. The three level distributions including document-author, author-topic and topic-word are learned from data in an unsupervised manner using a Gibbs sampling algorithm. We give results on a large corpus which contains 1740 papers from the Neural Information Processing Systems Conference (NIPS). Experiments based on perplexity scores for test documents are used to illustrate systematic differences between the proposed model and a number of alternatives.

Abstract (sommario):
The article presents fundamental positions of the linguistic school by Sofiya P. Lopushanskaya, Professor of Volgograd State University, and describes their theoretical advancement as being applied in the discourse studies on "Document text: history and modern state". It explains that the study of business and administrative communication should be based on a clarified definition of the term document as its main constituent. The major goal of documental linguistics is to process a diverse linguistic analysis, discover objective knowledge and reason linguistic comprehension of the documental nature of communication. Within the framework of this review, some general principles of the document text analysis are presented. Firstly, they are statements on: the unity of the speech-making process approach; the interaction and coordination between language phenomena and speech production processes; extralinguistic determination of the modern document. Secondly, these statements were particularized in the linguistic school of Volgograd State University with the aim of introducing basic approaches to the study of the document text. They involve identifying the research object and its characteristics, analyzing a diverse range of texts to assess the genre and style productivity of the document text equally, and defining linguistic categories that are manifested in textual and lingual specificity. The article presents renewed facts on discursive and linguistic features of modern documents united by such text properties as consistency, structure, locality, peculiarities of the language representation of the author and addressee. It is noted that the text of the document can contain information of various qualitative types (factual, conceptual, subtextual), and it is the main constituent of the documental system and the business and administrative communication act. As the text reflects an objective and social reality, its compositional structure and semantic realization greatly depend on extralinguistic constrains. The profiles of the author (addresser) and addressee are presented as being reconstructed with the detailed observation of multi-level lingual and discursive means. The variability of the addressee profiles (the document text addressability) is presented in models of lexical, style, and text adaptation. The principles and methods of detailed description of the documet text specified in the article open up new opportunities and directions for studying document typology and distinguishing relevant features of the document communication.

Abstract (sommario):
Search for documents is a common and pertinent task lots of organizations face every day as well as common Internet users in their daily searches. One specific document search is scientific paper search in reference manager systems such as Mendeley or IEEExplore. Considering the difficult task finding documents can sometimes represent, semantic search is currently being applied to improve this type of search. As the act of deciding if a document is a good result for a given search expression is vague, fuzziness becomes an important aspect when defining search algorithms. In this paper, the author present a fuzzy algorithm for improving documental searches optimized for specific scenarios where we want to find a document but don´t remember the exact words used, if plural or singular words were used or if a synonym was used. The author also present the application of this algorithm to a real scenario comparing to Mendeley and IEEExplore results.

Abstract (sommario):
The article is devoted to the study of the key aspects of administrative and legal document drafting techniques, since the creation of administrative and legal documents is an integral part of the activities of state bodies and institutions, and the quality of document execution, legal effectiveness, and content of the document depend on the document drafting technique. The author examines the technique of creating administrative and legal documents, their structure, style, and rules for using terminology and official language. Attention is focused on a detailed description of the structure of administrative and legal documents and the requirements for each part of the document. The peculiarities of formulating headings to the text of the document; construction of the preamble and its components; design of the main and final parts of the document; style of writing administrative and legal documents are considered. The author analyzes the use of terminology in administrative and legal documents; the terms should be defined accurately and unambiguously, meet the requirements of current legislation and leave no room for interpretation. The author offers recommendations for eliminating errors in the drafting of administrative and legal documents: the use of the official language (language terms, means and phrases) when writing the text of the document, which directly affect the conciseness and understanding of the text of the document, the correct use of terms and phrases, makes it possible to avoid stylistic and grammatical errors in the drafting of administrative and legal documents. Compliance with the standards of document execution will ensure that the content of the document is understood and has legal effect, such standards include maintaining the appropriate structure of the document, using defined and commonly used terms, following the rules of punctuation, etc. Checking spelling and grammar before starting the process of sending the document is mandatory, as errors in the document can lead to misunderstandings, misinterpretation of the text of the document and even legal consequences, the document must comply with the requirements of the law and legal regulations, some administrative and legal documents may contain confidential information that should not be available to everyone, it is important to ensure the right conditions for maintaining the confidentiality of information and proper protection of documents.

Abstract (sommario):
Visualization of author or document influence networks as a two-dimensional image can provide key insights into the direct influence of authors or documents on each other in a document collection. The influence network is constructed based on the minimum spanning tree, in which the nodes are documents and an edge is the most direct influence between two documents. Influence network visualizations have typically relied on co-citation correlation as a measure of document similarity. That is, the similarity between two documents is computed by correlating the sets of citations to each of the two documents. In a different line of research, co-citation count (the number of times two documents are jointly cited) has been applied as a document similarity measure. In this work, we demonstrate the impact of each of these similarity measures on the document influence network. We provide examples, and analyze the significance of the choice of similarity measure. We show that correlation-based visualizations exhibit chaining effects (low average vertex degree), a manifestation of multiple minor variations in document similarities. These minor similarity variations are absent in count-based visualizations. The result is that count-based influence network visualizations are more consistent with the intuitive expectation of authoritative documents being hubs that directly influence large numbers of documents.

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractIn the field of scientometrics, the principal purpose for author co-citation analysis (ACA) is to map knowledge domains by quantifying the relationship between co-cited author pairs. However, traditional ACA has been criticized since its input is insufficiently informative by simply counting authors’ co-citation frequencies. To address this issue, this paper introduces a new method that reconstructs the raw co-citation matrices by regarding document unit counts and keywords of references, named as Document- and Keyword-Based Author Co-Citation Analysis (DKACA). Based on the traditional ACA, DKACA counted co-citation pairs by document units instead of authors from the global network perspective. Moreover, by incorporating the information of keywords from cited papers, DKACA captured their semantic similarity between co-cited papers. In the method validation part, we implemented network visualization and MDS measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of DKACA. Results suggest that the proposed DKACA method not only reveals more insights that are previously unknown but also improves the performance and accuracy of knowledge domain mapping, representing a new basis for further studies.

Abstract (sommario):
The changes and amendments to the general document classification as a theoretical problem of document studies and documentology, are discussed. The document in the meaning “recorded information” is the subject of classification. The author examines the faceted-block classification of document based on various characteristics united into six clusters: “Types of documents physical carrier”, “Types of documents by document acquisition circumstances”, “Types of documents by information representational and transfer tools (by signative component)”, “Types of documents by information reception (perceptive component)”, “Types of documents by their environmental circumstances”. The document classification within each facet is independent which enables to characterize any document in various parameters. The changes and amendments are made to the general document classification based on increasing number and weight of electronic documents including digital versions of originally non-digital documents. The refined general classification is to facilitate special classification in particular types (classes, groups) of documents. The general document classification is applicable to various scientific disciplines within documentology, and to teaching documentological disciplines.

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractAuthorship attribution methods aim to determine the author of a document, by using information gathered from a set of documents with known authors. One method of performing this task is to create profiles containing distinctive features known to be used by each author. In this paper, a new method of creating an author or document profile is presented that detects features considered distinctive, compared to normal language usage. Thisrecentreingapproach creates more accurate profiles than previous methods, as demonstrated empirically using a known corpus of authorship problems. This method, named recentred local profiles, determines authorship accurately using a simple ‘best matching author’ approach to classification, compared to other methods in the literature. The proposed method is shown to be more stable than related methods as parameter values change. Using a weighted voting scheme, recentred local profiles is shown to outperform other methods in authorship attribution, with an overall accuracy of 69.9% on thead-hocauthorship attribution competition corpus, representing a significant improvement over related methods.

Abstract (sommario):
The author examines the concept of noosphere as applied in the document studies. In 1990ies, Kim Gelman-Vinogradov used in the document studies and introduced the concepts of the ‘noospheric document environment’ and noospheric document memory’. The author also demonstrates how Gelman-Vingradov’s ideas are related with A. V. Sokolov’s interpretation of documentosphere and definition of the document. The concept of nooinformation is examined as applied to the works by Yury Stolyarov and Roman Moltulsky, along with its relation to the documents as the object of library studies and to the concept of social (semantic) information. In the works of bibliography theorists: Galina Gordukalova, V. Fokeev, Alexandra Kumanova, the concept of noosphere is used to characterize document flows, document information, information modeling, and bibliographic compression of information. Arkady Sokolov’s proposal to develop noospherology, and his idea of the libraries; role in promoting the noospheric future and educating homo noospheric, is examined. The author also suggests that the noospheric approach will become a methodological instrument in documentospheric knowledge and will be of practical use for defining the role of libraries in the modern society.

Abstract (sommario):
The findings of the sociological study of higher education institutions libraries of the Ural region zonal methodological association carried out in 2016 are presented. The study objective is to analyze the documenting process as a key factor of decision substantiation in the technological management aimed to facilitate performance of academic libraries, to select forms and conceptualize methodological support of documenting library processes at the universities. The documenting experience is examined in several aspects: document management, documenting process; types of documents; levels of mastering document management methods; self-evaluation of documents. The author concludes on the proposed hypotheses that the level of mastering the modern document management tools differs at various academic libraries of the Ural region. This is due to their varying attitude towards the necessity to improve it. The author identifies three groups of libraries mastering different levels of mastering methods and instruments of document management. As a solution, the author suggests that external methodical support and consultations and specialized training course should be offered to the libraries to develop essential competences which is not possible through fragmented events.

Abstract (sommario):
Over the years there has been ongoing interest in detecting authorship of a text based on statistical properties of the text, such as by using occurrence rates of noncontextual words. In previous work, these techniques have been used, for example, to determine authorship of all of The Federalist Papers. Such methods may be useful in more modern times to detect fake or AI authorship. Progress in statistical natural language parsers introduces the possibility of using grammatical structure to detect authorship. In this paper we explore a new possibility for detecting authorship using grammatical structural information extracted using a statistical natural language parser. This paper provides a proof of concept, testing author classification based on grammatical structure on a set of “proof texts,” The Federalist Papers and Sanditon which have been as test cases in previous authorship detection studies. Several features extracted from the statistical natural language parser were explored: all sub trees of some depth from any level; rooted subtrees of some depth, part of speech, and part of speech by level in the parse tree. It was found to be helpful to project the features into a lower dimensional space. Statistical experiments on these documents demonstrate that information from a statistical parser can, in fact, assist in distinguishing authors.

Abstract (sommario):
The author continues to substantiate the goal set by Arkady Sokolov to conceptualize the document entity. As the initial point, he took Sokolov’s definition of documentosophy as the segment of sociocultural space to build, transfer, preserve and user meaningful communication messages referred to as documents. Sokolov also refers to the sphere of sociocultural production where the documents emerge, circulate and are preserved, as the documentosphere. The author argues that the adequate definition of the document is possible in its dialectic object-subject perception according to the international definition: the document is an object or recorded information provided that in the given documentation process (rather than generally!) it can be considered (by a subject) as a discrete whole. This results in the need to specify restrictions and to formulate narrower definition of the document specifically for each individual documentation process. The fundamental provision of relativity, conformity and conventionality of the concept “document” is explained; the author criticizes the mediaology claiming to replace documentive concepts with medialogical structures. In fact, the subject of documentology coincides with that of mediaology. However, firstly, each science has its own term, and, secondly, these are just their approaches that differ, i. e. the ontological approach is applied in documentology, and the communicative one in mediaology. The mediaology has been diligently though unreasonably avoiding the concepts of “document” and “information”. Thirdly, as opposed to documentology, the mediaology has been still unable to propose any brand-new and valuable insight into the document phenomenon.

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractShannon (1948) showed that a wide range of practical problems can be reduced to the problem of estimating probability distributions of words and ngrams in text. It has become standard practice in text compression, speech recognition, information retrieval and many other applications of Shannon's theory to introduce a “bag-of-words” assumption. But obviously, word rates vary from genre to genre, author to author, topic to topic, document to document, section to section, and paragraph to paragraph. The proposed Poisson mixture captures much of this heterogeneous structure by allowing the Poisson parameter θ to vary over documents subject to a density function φ. φ is intended to capture dependencies on hidden variables such genre, author, topic, etc. (The Negative Binomial is a well-known special case where φ is a Г distribution.) Poisson mixtures fit the data better than standard Poissons, producing more accurate estimates of the variance over documents (σ2), entropy (H), inverse document frequency (IDF), and adaptation (Pr(x ≥ 2/x ≥ 1)).

Abstract (sommario):
The author responds to the considerations expressed mainly by E. A. Plesh-kevich in his article “On documentology and its methodology”. The author praises Pleshkevich’s acknowledging the concept of “documentology”. Indeed, the term “document” differs pertaining to the subject (substantially) and object (functional-ly), and this representation makes the foundation for relativeness of this concept in practical applications. Meanwhile, the author points to the disruptiveness of other Pleshkevich’s arguments: alleged unscientific nature of differentiated ap-proach to the concept of “document”, validity of pure theorizing regardless of practice, and denial of Paul Otlet’s methodology. The latter thought that there was the overdue need to develop the general theory of document similar to that in biology, sociology, physics and the so-called big sciences. The author demonstrates the wrongfulness of abandoning of the wider definition of the document by the International Standardization Organization (ISO). According to ISO, the document is an object that may be regarded as an element of documented quality management system. The practical effectvenesss of the method of rising from the abstract to the concrete which enables to narrow the concept of document down to the needs of individual libraries, is substantiated.

Abstract (sommario):
The author considers the terminological confusion associated with designations of properties of scientific documents represented by their citation rate. Once again, we argue in favor of the statement that the citedness of research documents directly represents their use, which in turn represents their value. The need to continue the relevant polemic and strengthen the argumentation is caused by the fact that many experts either do not associate citedness with value or are indifferent to the issue of properties of documents represented by citation rate. Also, many bibliometricians confuse value of documents with their quality. Moreover, there is a point of view according to which the use is only one of the factors that cause citations to scientific documents; while just addressing to documents is considered, on the contrary, as an undoubted evidence of their use – though in this case it remains unknown whether the full text of the retrieved document has been at least briefly reviewed by the user. The article gives critical consideration to these issues. The opinion is expressed that a certain misunderstanding of the concept “use of a document” is due to its involuntary confusion with the traditional library concept “use of a library stock”. It is also shown that taking the philosophical notion of value for consideration can add even more confusion to the terminology used to denote the properties of a scientific document that are represented by its citation rate par excellence. Some definitions of the concept “document’s value” that circulate in contemporary library science are critically analyzed. Accordingly, the author makes an attempt to clarify the concepts and content of the terms “value of a scientific document” and “use of a scientific document”. Specifically, the present first part of this work contains mainly examples and criticism of the terminological confusion about the designation of the properties of a scientific document represented by its citedness and use. They are considered through the prism of the unspecified concepts of value and quality of a research document. The author used them before completing his work on the second part of this article. It will elaborate and specify the concept of value of a scientific document.

Abstract (sommario):
In business process and document approval characteristics, approval workflow is a process for automatically flowing business between approval providers with predetermined rules. When viewed from the process of requesting goods still uses e-mail. With the increasing number of documents that must be approved and still using e-mail communication media, obstacles were found that caused delays in the document approval process. In this study, the authors aim to create a computerized workflow document, which will be implemented in the procedure for purchasing requests for goods and requests for promotional items from branches and assisting document recipients in sorting out documents that have not/have been approved which are expected to provide benefits to users in carrying out the process. Document approval. The information system the author has developed can only be run for internal users who already have login access to the system and can only be accessed using the internal network. The development process uses the waterfall method, and data collection methods in this study include observation, interviews, and literature study. System testing is carried out using blackbox testing evaluation and interface design evaluation using the eight golden rules. From the implementation and evaluation results, it was concluded that the system had achieved the desired results, namely, the branch admin page for sending information on approval documents and the approval party page for responding to documents.

Abstract (sommario):
This study investigated the effect that typeface has on a reader's perception of three different types of onscreen documents (business, email, and youth narrative stories). Participants read documents displayed in either a congruent, neutral, or incongruent typeface. Results suggest that the less congruent the typeface, the more the document was perceived in a negative fashion. That is, the typeface itself affected the perceived personality of the document and the perception of the author; thus, typeface appropriateness should be considered when writing an onscreen document.

Abstract (sommario):
The third edition of the textbook in the document studies prepared by Professor N. S. Larkov [1], Dr. Sc. (History), Tomsk State University. The communication approach towards defining document as an information message is analyzed. The problems of applying communication method popular in technological sciences are revealed. The author proves that documents are social information communication objects which has to be reflected in the term definition. The necessity for transfer from the theory of communications to the theory of social communications contemplating society institutional structure is justified. The author emphasizes that within the social context, documents as information resources can be used only if trusted in relation to its semantic symmetry.

Abstract (sommario):
After a critical consideration – through the prism of unspecified concepts of the value and quality of a scientific document – of examples of terminological confusion about the designation of a property of a scientific document represented by its citedness and use (that was given in the first part of the article), further consideration of the issue of the property being represented is provided. The need to continue the in-depth analysis and appropriate polemics as well as to strengthen the argument that the citedness of scientific documents directly represents their use, which, in its turn, represents their value, is caused by the fact that a number of experts either do not associate citation rate with value, or are indifferent to the issue of the property of documents represented by their citedness, or confuse the value of a document with its quality. Moreover, there is an authoritative point of view according to which the use is only one of the factors that cause scientific documents to be cited; while just access to experts' documents is considered, on the contrary, as an undoubted evidence of their use – though in this case it remains unknown whether the full text of the requested document would be at least briefly browsed by the user. The author gives a critical consideration of these issues. An opinion is expressed that a certain misunderstanding of the concept “use of a document” is due to its involuntary confusion with the traditional library concept “use of a library stock”. It is also shown that taking the philosophical notion of value for consideration can add even more confusion to the terminology used to denote a property of a scientific document represented by its citedness par excellence. The author makes an attempt to clarify the concepts and content of the terms “value of a scientific document” and “use of a scientific document”.

Abstract (sommario):
Within the framework of the traditional methodology of records appraisal, tasks of transferring digital records, created without prior paper documentation, to archival storage present archivists with a dilemma of storing an original of a digital record. However, in electronic environment storing the original as the first and only copy of the record is fundamentally impossible. The article strives to substantiate the methodological approach generated in international practice to ensure storage of digital records. The article considers the origin and development of the concept of “original” in national terminological standards, meaning first or only copy of a record. The author draws attention to the fact that this term was introduced and used in conjunction with the term “official record.” It was not universal in its nature, only to be used in the field of management. Concurrently, the term “original document” was used; this was associated with possibility of the author identifying the record. The analysis concludes that under modern conditions, the context for the term “original document” has been lost, and, therefore, its continued use is impracticable. Information technology induces to introduce the term “authentic document.” In recent years, it has been used due to studying international standards of records management. The concept of “authentic document” is usually translated as “original,” however, these concepts are not completely synonymous. Authenticity of a record implies not simply availability of information about its author, time and place of creation, but also a need to properly certify them. The introduction of the term “authentic record” allows to create a new methodological paradigm of storing digital records in a trusted execution environment, using migration and conversion procedures and creating legal conditions for usage of digital duplicates of paper records.

Abstract (sommario):
Studying corporate documents provides clues to the larger philosophy of the organization. This article explores a sales document redesign that indicates a subtle shift in ideology for a women's clothing company. The corporation uses direct sales to market clothes to a variety of women. In one season, the documents change from relatively outdated designs to more updated, professional layouts. However, the content of the documents changes very little. The author contends that the document redesign indicates a move to a more feminist outlook for the company and uses the concept of ethos to describe how the document design represents a slowly changing ethos for the corporation. A specific content shift towards feminism is, however, less apparent.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper is devoted to a new type of physical evidence — an electronic document. The author examines specific features of this type of evidence and the questions of its categorization as physical evidence. An electronic document, as physical evidence, is compared with the categories “digital carriers of information”, “electronic evidence” and “computer information”. Specifics of the mechanism of trace formation for electronic evidence and its reflection in the outside world are studied. The topical issue of this study is the legal ambiguousness of the concept of electronic, or “digital” evidence, which is used as a source of information. The use of the definition “electronic document” from the standpoint of different approaches and the questions of its statutory regulation in Russian criminal court proceedings are examined. The author’s definition of an electronic document as evidence in criminal proceedings is formulated, key types of electronic documents and their specific features are named. The author studies the legal force and the criteria for the admissibility of such evidence in court. Views of difference authors regarding the use of gadgets for the recovery of electronic evidence and the need for the participation of an expert in the recovery and copying of electronic data are presented. It is concluded that this topic requires further work due to the total informatization of society, which is currently underway, and that such questions should be settled in legislation.

Abstract (sommario):
Authorship verification rely on identification of a given document is written by a particular author or not. Internally analyzing the document itself with respect to the variations in writing style of the author and identification of the author’s own idiolect is the main context of the authorship verification. Mainly, the detection performance depends on the used feature set for clustering the document. Linguistic features and stylistic features have been utilized for author identification according to the writing style of a particular author. Disclose the shallow changes of the author’s writing style is the major problem which should be addressed in the domain of authorship verification. It motivates the computer science researchers to do research on authorship verification in the field of computer forensics and this research also focuses this problem. The contributions from the research are two folded: Former is introducing a new feature extracting method with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and later is propose a new more efficient linguistic feature set for verification of author of the given document. Experiments on a corpus composed of freely downloadable genuine 19th century English Books and Self Organizing Maps has been used as the classifier to cluster the documents. Proper word segmentation also introduced in this work and it helps to demonstrate that the proposed strategy can produced promising results. Finally, it is realized that more accurate classification is generated by the proposed strategy with extracted linguistic feature set.

Abstract (sommario):
Author Profiling is a kind of text classification method that is used for detecting the personality profiles such as age, gender, educational background, place of origin, personality traits, native language, etc., of authors by processing their written texts. Several applications like forensic analysis, security and marking are used the techniques of author profiling for finding the basic details of authors. The main problem in the domain of author profiling is preparation of suitable dataset for predicting the characteristics of authors. PAN is one organization conducting competitions on various types of shared tasks. In 2013, PAN organizers presented the task of author profiling in their series of competitions and continued this task in further years. They arranged different kinds of datasets in different varieties of languages. From 2013 onwards several researchers proposed solutions for author profiling to predict different personality features of authors by utilizing the datasets provided in PAN competitions. Researchers used different kinds of features like character based, lexical or word based, structural features, syntactic, content based, style based features for distinguishing the author’s writing styles in their texts. Most of the researchers observed that the content based features like words or phrases those are used in the text are most useful for detecting the personality features of authors. In this work, the experiment conducted with the content based features like most important words or terms for predicting age group and gender from the PAN competition datasets. Two datasets such as PAN 2014 and 2016 author profiling datasets are used in this experiment. The documents of dataset are converted in to a vector representation which is a suitable format for giving training to machine learning algorithms. The term representation in a document vector plays a crucial role to improve the performance of gender and age group prediction. The Term Weight Measures (TWMs) are such techniques used for this purpose to represent the significance of a term value in document vector representation. In this work, we developed a new TWM for representing the term value in document vector representation. The proposed TWM’s efficiency is compared with the efficiency of other existing TWMs. Two Machine Learning (ML) algorithms like SVM (Support Vector Machine) and RF (Random Forest) are considered in this experiment for estimating the accuracy of proposed approach. We recognized that the proposed TWM accomplished best accuracies for gender and age prediction in two PAN Datasets.

Abstract (sommario):
Perversions of the archive In the article, the author discusses the problematic status of an archival document, taking into account the concepts of perverse historiography and the methodological indicators of the apartheid archive. Documents stored in IPN (Institute of National Remembrance) have been used to show the challenges faced by the people investigating the documents stored there and attempting to unify the material found in the archive. The analysis of Autor Solaris, a 2016 biographical documentary film about Stanisław Lem, is preceded by reflections on the involvement of the archive researchers in politics and their reproductions of clichés and stereotypes about the past, which the author sees as directly leading to blurring and erasing of the victims’ testimonies. In doing so, the author uses critical analyses of the pornographic aspects of the presentation of mass murder victims. Relating to a concept proposed by one of the critics indicating that using archival sources in modern art leads to a mass amnesia, the author points to the dangers of using Nazi propaganda films in contemporary documentary film.

Abstract (sommario):
The author's appeal to this issue is caused by ambiguous assessments of documentology in the scientific publications as the universal document developed by Yu. N. Stolyarov. The scientific and methodological prerequisites for the development of documentology, its hypothesis, the theory of relativity of the document as its methodological basis, as well as the laws of documentology, are analyzed in detail. In his analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that the expressed hypothesis about the division of the concept of a document into the substantive and the functional is based on common ideas on using artificially created objects for the intended or unintended purposes. Therefore, this hypothesis is seen as ascientific. The theoretical ascent is based on the discussion of a number of incorrectly formulated examples taken, as they say, "out of the hat". The scientific argumentation is replaced by manipulative reasoning, starting with the justification of the relevance and practical significance of the study and ending with citing both individual authors and regulatory documents. Reasoning contradicts the rules of for-mal logic. There is a constant confusion of theoretical and empirical reasoning. The provisions on the relative, conditional and conventional status of the document are scientifically incorrect. The proposed laws are not scientific. At the same time, the author believes that his comments reflect the results of following methodological guidelines introduced by Paul Otlet, far from indisputable, and thus the theoretical work done by Yu. N. Stolyarov is of great scientific importance.

Abstract (sommario):
Library is a cultural institute accumulating in itself various functions, including museum and archival ones. The author views personal, private, home or family library entering a museum collection as an indispensable component so museumification becomes the mode of its processing. In 2019 Gomel Regional Library became the owner of the unique archive of Gomel architects Ivan and Valentina Burlak, which consisted of 276 objects including 64 documents of their family library. This archive was sectioned into three collections: that of Ivan Burlak, of Valentina Burlak and general collection. This home library was inventoried as a complex of printed editions. The author worked out a concept according to which information and bibliographic, specific and structural polygraphic peculiarities of documents revealed themselves as much as possible. Structural elements of documents descriptions became: format, character of design and polygraphic implementation, degree of its safety, presence of provenances and inscriptions, belonging, source and way of acquisition, pressmarks. When creating pressmarks, the author of this article was guided by museum practice of objects systematization. Terminological system of document management and attribution completely describes library collections received as a gift and being an integral part of museum collections. Museumification makes it possible to identify more accurately any document belonging to library and museum collections. An organic combination and application of practical methods of document management and attribution expands public library’ possibilities, contributes to its development as a scientific institution.

Abstract (sommario):
The Bioconductor Gateway on the F1000Research platform is a channel for peer-reviewed and citable publication of end-to-end data analysis workflows rooted in the Bioconductor ecosystem. In addition to the largely static journal publication, it is hoped that authors will also deposit their workflows as executable documents on Bioconductor, where the benefits of regular code testing and easy updating can be realized. Ideally these two endpoints would be met from a single source document. However, so far this has not been easy, due to lack of a technical solution that meets both the requirements of the F1000Research article submission format and the executable documents on Bioconductor. Submission to the platform requires a LaTeX file, which many authors traditionally have produced by writing an Rnw document for Sweave or knitr. On the other hand, to produce the HTML rendering of the document hosted by Bioconductor, the most straightforward starting point is the R Markdown format. Tools such as pandoc enable conversion between many formats, but typically a high degree of manual intervention used to be required to satisfactorily handle aspects such as floating figures, cross-references, literature references, and author affiliations. The BiocWorkflowTools package aims to solve this problem by enabling authors to work with R Markdown right up until the moment they wish to submit to the platform.

The reference point for deliberations is constituted by two documents: the Apostolic Constitution of Francis Episcopalis communio and the final document of XV General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops dedicated to the problems of young people Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment. The synodal document presented the issues which were not discussed during the synodal sessions and concern the synodal path of the Church. The author reflects on common elements of both documents and interprets each of them in the light of the other one. He highlights the element of discernment of gifts, charisms, and conscience, which determine the position of the faithful in the ecclesial community and influence the bonds between them and the pastors of the Church. Extending the area of implementation of the synodal character of the Church allows the author to ask the question about the model of the presence of the Church in the world. The author points out similarities between the synodal way and the methodology of ecumenical dialogue, which may affect summoning of the Synod dedicated to ecumenical issues.

Abstract (sommario):
Abstract: Author Profiling is a technique of predicting demographic characteristics like gender, age, location, nativity language, educational background etc., of an author by analysing their written texts. Author profiling is used in several text processing applications like forensics analysis, marketing, security. The author profiling techniques identify the stylistic differences among the author writing styles to identify the demographics of authors. Researchers experimented with various stylistic features like lexical features, content-based features, syntactic features, semantic features, domain specific features, structural features, readability features etc., to identify the stylistic differences among different author’s texts. The dataset plays an important role to analyse the stylistic differences of authors. PAN is one competition organizes different types of tasks in every year to encourage the participants around the globe for providing solutions to different types of text classification problems like plagiarism detection, authorship attribution, authorship verification, authorship profiling, celebrity profiling, style change detection, fake news spreaders detection, hate speech spreaders detection etc. The author profiling task was introduced in 2013 by the organizers of PAN competition. The organizers carefully gather the datasets and make available to the researchers for providing solutions to the problems. Every year the organizers conduct competitions on different sub-tasks of author profiling and provides datasets in different languages and in different genres. In 2017 competition, PAN introduces a task of predicting the language variety of an author. They release the dataset in four languages. In this work, we proposed an approach for English language dataset of language variety prediction. The proposed approach used the word embeddings generated by the Word2Vec model and BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) model. The word embeddings are used for generating the document vectors by combining the word embeddings of words those contain in documents. The document vectors are trained with two machine learning algorithms such as support vector machine and random forest. The Random Forest attained best accuracy of 96.87 for language variety prediction when experiment conducted with BERT embeddings

Abstract (sommario):
Abstract: After a brief historical-ecclesiastical contextualization of the document of Medellín, the author, in this article, offers a threefold analysis of the document. In the first place, it evidences the principal components ofthe project for evangelization present in the document, followed by an evaluation on how the middle classes, directly or indirectly, enter into this project of evangelization and, to sum up, a try at deducing the leveis of solidarity with the poor that we can expect from the middle classes. This is about an analysis motivated by the suspician that the solidarity with the poor depends, in great measure, upon the quality of the evangelization that was ministered to the middle classes.

Abstract (sommario):
A choice of a suitable document management automation system often becomes a highly complicated task. Such systems are currently available in big variety. Apart from that, each enterprise has its own specifics, while small and medium-sized scientific & engineering enterprises have also a wide range of small-scale orders. The purpose of the article is to demonstrate a reasonable approach to the choice of a document management system to be efficient for a particular enterprise. The expediency is showed for creating a uniform information space for data exchange at a scientific & engineering enterprise. The author proposes modelling methods and algorithms enabling to decrease the number of generated documents and resources consumed for generation thereof. UML diagrams of the uniform information space have been described. Modelling of local document flows of enterprises has been performed with the help of Petri net: a conclusion has been made on multiplicity and increase in the number of documents in each cycle of the production process. Introduction of the PDM system has been supported and one of the stages of creation of the uniform information space has been described: it is possible to track in real time mode the timelines for execution of documents, ready-made documents and to make the necessary managerial decisions, thereby improving efficiency of the workflow and production process. The authors has demonstrated the implementation of the developed methods and models for a medium-sized scientific & production enterprise in real practice and has provided recommendations on introduction of document management automation systems at such enterprises.

Abstract (sommario):
This article presents a bibliometric analysis of publications on blended learning in higher education. The analysis is grounded on statistics obtained from the online Scopus database on 11 December 2019. The study used Microsoft Excel to conduct a frequency analysis, VOSviewer for data visualization, and Harzing’s Publish or Perish for citation metrics and analysis. In total 1,064 valid documents were analyzed, based on keyword search results for “blended learning”, “perception”, “achievement”, “engagement”, “higher education” and “bibliometric analysis”. This article reports descriptive and content analysis on document type and source type. Analysis shows that number of publications per year increased from 2000 to 2018. English is the most widely used language for publications, and most publications are from the social sciences. The United States contributes the most publications. The most active journals, influential institutions, citation metrics and highly cited articles are listed. Network visualization maps demonstrate keyword analysis of author keywords; co-authorship by country and author; number of authors per document; citations by country and document; co-occurrence of all keywords; and, lastly, co-citation by cited sources. The visibility of work on blended learning in highly cited journals in the past two decades reveals that blended learning has gained significant attention among educators and researchers. Future research could include systematic literature reviews or other mapping tools, such as HistCite.

Abstract (sommario):
EDITORIAL We need to inform you again that the Aloha International Journal of Multidisciplinary Advancement (AIJMU) has a mission to publish research results and ideas from various disciplines of science and technology. In this editorial, we constantly invite researchers and academics around the world to share their best papers in this journal. In April 2021, we invite authors to publish scientific papers which are a form of document study. In this case, we can accept articles from document studies in short form such as book reviews, but we also look forward to the presence of articles and long forms, such as library research. Book review is a type of short paper (usually contains 1000 to 200 words), which contains a review of a book that the author considers interesting or important. In addition to the title, author and affiliation, this article consists of at least 4 important parts, namely an introduction, a review (a summary of the book's contents, strengths, weaknesses and suggestions if any), conclusions and references. However, authors may write in a different systematics as long as they do not go outside the principles of writing a book review. Meanwhile, library research is one type of qualitative research that emphasizes data sources in the form of documents, although it can be strengthened by other data sources, for example the results of interviews. This type of paper is usually written in a large number of words, for example 4000 to 10000 words, depending on the rules of the journal. There are three main types of literature research: historical studies, biographical studies and document studies. We hope that articles based on document studies will further enrich the database of scientific papers in this journal, which in turn can contribute to the development and advancement of science and technology.

Abstract (sommario):
The Russian-Ukrainian war displaced millions of Ukrainians many of whom now rely on international and local organizations in their host countries for help with daily problems of integration. One such aspect of charitable work is providing translation services. This article analyses the challenges and strategies of English, Ukrainian, and Russian document translation for charitable organizations assisting Ukrainian refugees. Drawing on professional experience of collaboration with a charitable organization, the author discusses communication that ensures efficient management of translation projects, outlines the certification procedure that confirms the translator’s responsibility for the accuracy of translation, and examines the types of documents that Ukrainian refugees commonly need to have translated. The author describes in detail the formatting of the translated documents that is required to make them accessible and easily comprehensible. The article delves into the challenges that the translator is faced with when working with the documents of Ukrainian refugees, focusing on such issues as illegible handwriting and stamps, the low quality of the images of the original documents, typographical errors, abbreviations and terms, formatting intricacies, temporal limitations, and confidentiality. Analysing the process of proofreading that improves the quality of translation, the author argues that translation is a social activity that requires collaboration between the translator, fellow professionals, legal experts, clients, local actors and stakeholders. Finally, this article explores the tools and strategies that enable translators to work consistently and efficiently. It examines how the translator can use machine translators, online corpus dictionaries, document translation templates, guidelines, and other aids to provide reliable, timely, accurate, and helpful translation services to Ukrainian refugees.

Abstract (sommario):
Name ambiguity, due to the fact that many people share an identical name, often deteriorates the performance of information integration, document retrieval and web search. In academic data analysis, author name ambiguity usually decreases the analysis performance. To solve this problem, an author name disambiguation task is designed to divide documents related to an author name reference into several parts and each part is associated with a real-life person. Existing methods usually use either attributes of documents or relationships between documents and co-authors. However, methods of feature extraction using attributes cause inflexibility of models while solutions based on relationship graph network ignore the information contained in the features. In this paper, we propose a novel name disambiguation model based on representation learning which incorporates attributes and relationships. Experiments on a public real dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our model and experimental results demonstrate that our solution is superior to several state-of-the-art graph-based methods. We also increase the interpretability of our method through information theory and show that the analysis could be helpful for model selection and training progress.
