Abstract (sommario):
The article analyzes the problems of bakhrs (poetic meters) and vazns (sizes) presented in the Turkic treatises, which played a significant role in the formation and development of Aruz studies of the Temurid period, such as "Funun al-balaga" by Sheikh Ahmad Tarozi, "Mezon al-avzon" Alisher Navoi and “Aruz Risolasi” by Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur. It is argued that in "Funun al-balaga", which is considered the first Turkic treatise, the qualification and definition of bakhrs were implemented specifically in a special direction. The work theoretically analyzed 40 bakhrs, 20 of which were not included in the treatises created before Sheikh Ahmad Tarozi. These meters were created by the author himself. In his treatise "Mezon al-Avzon" Alisher Navoi analyzed 160 vazns associated with 19 bakhrs. In addition to those presented in Alisher Navoi's treatise, Babur discovered two more bakhrs and qualified them as “Ariz” and “Amik” bakhras in his treatise. Babur showed 21 meters and 537 vazns in the Treatise on Aruz. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that Aruz studies reached its peak during the Timurid period.

Although most of the treatises on the theoretical foundations of classical poetics in Arabic, Persian and Turkish are devoted to the science of aruz, the science of rhyme, and the science of art as a whole, these treatises were created under the influence of each other. One of the sources is Abu Zakari's (Al-Khatib) at-Tabrizi's treatise, “Al-kafi fi-l aruzva-l qavafi (Suffice it to say about Aruz and rhyme). “Al-kafi fi-l aruzva-l qavafiy (“Aruz and enough about rhyme”) is an important treatise in Arabic on the science of aruz and rhyme, which does not contain theoretical ideas about the science of bade. This pamphlet is devoted to the circles of desire, and the scientist has proved on a theoretical basis the harmony of weight and rhyme on the basis of a specific system.

Mevlevi Ceremony has an important place among Turkish Music and Turkish Religious Music forms in terms of Turkish Music theory and pattern. The examination of the works in this form written in a rich composition technique and having a comprehensive and wide functioning is very important for Turkish Religious Music. In this study, it has been aimed to explain in detail the whole of the Sazkar Mevlevî Âyîni, which were composed by Zeki Atkosar, one of the composers of today's Mevlevî rituals, in terms of relation with pattern and Aruz prosody and in the methods used in rituals, the relationship between Aruz measures in which the songs are written. Within this direction, the concept of ‘Mevlevî Âyîni Şerîf’ has been explained in the first title of the study. In the second title of this work, the concepts of pattern and aruz prosody being the basis of analysis studies have been mentioned. In the third chapter; the life, art and works of composer Zeki Atkosar have been explained. In the last part; the syllabic distribution of the song of ‘Sazkâr Mevlevî Âyîni Şerîf ’ chapters was examined by placing the main patterns and velvele beats in the templates.The aruz prosody meters of the song were determined and their shape features and meanings were explained. In this context, it was found that the syllable distributions of the song were mostly placed regularly. ​Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. Özet Mevlevî Âyînleri, Türk Mûsikîsi ve Türk Din Mûsikîsi formları içerisinde Türk Mûsikîsi nazariyatı ve usûlleri açısından büyük formlar arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Zengin bir besteleme tekniğiyle yazılmış, kapsamlı ve geniş işleyişi olan bu formdaki eserlerin incelenmesi Türk Din Mûsikîsi için önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, günümüz Mevlevî Âyîni bestekârlarından Zeki Atkoşar’ın bestelemiş olduğu Sazkâr Mevlevî Âyîninin tamamının usûl-arûz vezni ilişkisi yönünden incelenmesi ve Âyîni Şerîflerde kullanılan usûllerle, güftelerin yazıldığı arûz kalıpları arasındaki ilişkinin ayrıntılı olarak ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın ilk başlığında ‘Mevlevî Âyîni Şerîfi’ açıklanmıştır. İkinci başlıkta analiz çalışmasının temeli olan ‘usûl’ ve ‘arûz’ konularına değinilmiştir. Üçüncü başlıkta bestekâr Zeki Atkoşar’ın hayatı, sanatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Son olarak Sazkâr Mevlevî Âyîni Şerîf’e ait Selâmların güftelerinin vezne bağlı hece dağılımları ile hazırlanan usûllerin ana kalıp vevelvele darpları şablonlarına yerleştirilerek incelenmiştir. Güftelerin arûz vezinleri tespit edilip, şekil özellikleri ve anlamları açıklanmıştır. Bu bağlamda güftelerin hece dağılımlarının çoğunlukla düzenli olarak yerleştirildiği tespit edilmiştir.

VIII. yüzyılda Arap edebiyatında doğan aruz, başta İran edebiyatı olmak üzere İslâm edebiyatlarında kullanılmaya başlandı ve İslâmiyet'in kabulünden sonra da Türk şiirinde yer aldı. Mehmet Âkif Ersoy, çocukluğundan itibaren özellikle şiire meraklı olan bir insandır. Onun, şiir dünyasını besleyen en güçlü damarlardan birisi de divan şiiri geleneğidir. Çocukluğundan itibaren klâsik edebiyat geleneği içerisinde yetişen Mehmet Âkif'in şiirlerinde, şekil açısından eskiye ait pek çok unsur ve özellik bulunur. Şair, bütün şiirlerini divan edebiyatı nazım şekillerini kullanarak aruz vezni ile yazmıştır. Sağlam bir anlatım, aruz vezninin Türkçeye başarıyla uygulanmış olması ve hikâye üslubunu çok sevmesi gibi konular, Mehmet Âkif'in şiirinin en belirgin özelliklerini gözler önüne serer. Önemli bir kısmı manzum hikâyelerden oluşan Safahat adlı şiir kitabı, bir yönüyle modern bir mesnevi veya manzum bir roman olarak da kabul edilir. Mehmet Âkif Ersoy, son devirde Türk şiirinde aruzun başarıyla uygulanabileceğini şiirleriyle açıkça göstermiştir. Aruz, Mehmet Âkif'in şiirlerinde Türkçe ile en güzel şekilde bağdaşmıştır.

This article deals with the scientific significance of the manuscript work on the theory of Arabic Aruz “Al-Kistas al-mustakim fi ilm al-aruz”, written by the great scholar from Mawarounnahr, Mahmoud Zamakhshari, who made a significant contribution to world culture. The article also examines the copies of this source stored in the collections of the state libraries of Istanbul, Ankara, Cairo, Berlin and other cities. In the article for the first time in textual and literary sources it was made a comparative analysis of the copy of the work “al-Kistas” stored in the “Tubinger” Foundation, Berlin, with other manuscript copies, in particular with the copy stored in the Fund “Rais al-Kuttab “ in the Suleymania library of Istanbul. As a result, it turns out that the copy of “Rais al-kuttab” is complete, well preserved, has no gaps and shortcomings, so it is suitable for compiling a critical text of the work “al-Kistas”. The copy of “Tubinger” differs from other copies by the structure and originality in the presentation of the material on on meters (buhur), as well as in the originality of the poems given in the Aruz circles. It should also be noted that the third part of this manuscript includes excerpts from the work on Aruz “Ar-Risala al-Andalusiya”, belonging to the scientist Abu al-Jaish al-Andalusi. The work with great skill uses the poetic examples given to illustrate meters, which were written by Abu al-Jaish al-Andalusi himself, and not found anywhere else. It was revealed in the process of research and comparative analysis that the examples for the illustrations of Aruz circles were written by Mahmoud Zamakhshari himself.

This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of theoretical sources that served as the basis for Alisher Navoi’s treatise Mezon Al-Avzon. The treatise of Alisher Navoi is devoted to the aruz verse system, which is the traditional and widespread system of literatures of the Muslim East. In the preface, Navoi points to sources that were used in the creation of Mezon Al-Avzon. These sources are as follows: Al-Mu’jam by Shams Qays Razi, Meyor al-Ash’or by Nasiriddin Tusi and Risalai Aruz by Abdurrahman Jami in comparison with these sources, in order to study the sequence and innovation of Alisher Navoi in the science of aruz. In the article, this analysis is based on the example of rhythmic units such as: juzv, asl rukn (main foot), poetic meter, tactics (paradigm), doira (concentric circles).

Abstract: This article is devoted to the analysis of the ghazals of Nizomiddin Zakirov, a writer from Samarkand, who lived in the era of the former Soviet regime and, despite his young age, created in the zsxcz ;;style of traditional Uzbek classical literature.In the 1950s and 1960s of the Shura era, he was engaged in artistic creation along with leadership activities, wrote beautiful poems and ghazals under the pseudonym Saidi. At a time when the study and promotion of national literature and national values were severely suppressed, Saidi, despite being young, deeply studied traditional Uzbek classical poetry and tried to write ghazals like his teachers. In this way, he was greatly influenced by the family environment where he was born and brought up and the work of representatives of the literary environment of Kattakurgan, which has long been considered one of the centers of creativity and enlightenment.In many of his ghazals, he tried to reinterpret traditional metaphors and achieve originality. Saidi’s works are important because they are sources that show the continuation and development of classical genres in Uzbek literature during the years of the Shura period.

ARUZ is a large scale, massively parallel, FPGA-based reconfigurable computational system dedicated primarily to molecular analysis. This paper presents a methodology for ARUZ firmware development that simplifies the process, offers low-level optimization, and facilitates verification. According to this methodology, firstly an expanded, generic, all-in-one VHDL description of variable Processing Elements (PEs) is developed manually. GCC preprocessing is then used to extract only the desired target functionality. A dedicated software instantiates and connects PEs in form of a scalable network, divides it into subsets for chips and generates its HDL description. As a result, individual HDL-coded specification, optimized for certain analysis, is provided for the synthesis tool. Code reuse and automated generation of up to 81% of the code economizes the workload. Using well-optimized VHDL for core description rather than High Level Synthesis eliminates unnecessary overhead. The PE network can be scaled inversely proportional to PEs complexity, in order to efficiently utilize available resources. Moreover, downscaling the problem makes verification during HDL simulations and testing the prototype systems easier.

In this paper, a massively parallel implementation of Boltzmann’s thermally activated molecular transport model is presented. This models allows taking into account potential energy barriers in molecular simulations and thus modeling thermally activated diffusion processes in liquids. The model is implemented as an extension to the basic Dynamic Lattice Liquid (DLL) algorithm on ARUZ, a massively parallel FPGA-based simulator located at BioNanoPark Lodz. The advantage of this approach is that it does not use any exponentiation operations, minimizing resource usage and allowing one to perform simulations containing up to 4,608,000 nodes.

Chusti’s poems in the genre of ghazals especially with their metric aspect in such writings as “Khayotnoma” (1988), “Sadokat gullari” (1992), “Ko‘ngil tilagi” (1994) are reserched in this article. Moreover, we will see the peculiarities of each couplet (string) based on the requirements of the ghazal in the proportion of ideas and images, the unity of meaning and form in the poet’s view. Chusti actively used the system of aruzi bahri (metric term) rajaz, muhtass, mutakarib, musari, hazaj, ramal in his ghazals. We can see that the ghazals were created in these metric systems fit into 52 songs of “Shashmakom”. And also the analyzed the genres of ghazals and the value of the themes. In addition, the metric of Chusti’s ghazals is compared with the metric properties of the poems of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. Their parallels, similarities, themes and content are highlighted with definite examples. Interaction with oral folklore and folk songs of ghazals are researched. In addition, it was said that the individual ghazals of Chustiy are not compatible with the rules of aruz, in particular, the ghazal “Khaddan ziyada”, “Keling tezrak, Karakalpak”. During the analysis of these ghazals, they were found to be more consistent with the rules of fingerprint metrics. And also for the first time, the article presents statistical data on the ghazal of Chusti.

Research on sapodilla (Manilkara zapota) has been very limited. A field study was conducted to determine the yield potential, fruit quality traits, leaf nutrient composition, and scion/rootstock compatibility of ‘Prolific’ sapodilla grafted onto 16 sapodilla rootstock seedlings. For this purpose, seedlings (maternal half-sibs) of cultivars Adelaide, Arcilago, Aruz, Blackwood, Blocksberg, Guilbe, Hanna, Jamaica-1, Larsen, Mendigo-1, Gallera, Morning Star, Russel, Prolific, Timothe, and Vasallo-1 were used as rootstock seedlings and evaluated during 7 years of production at Isabela, PR. Year showed a significant effect on the number of fruit per hectare, yield, individual fruit weight, fruit length and diameter, and total soluble solids. Rootstock seedlings had a significant effect on the number of fruit per hectare, yield, and individual fruit weight but had no effect on other fruit traits. The year × rootstock interaction was not significant for any of the variables measured in the study. Rootstock seedlings ‘Timothe’, ‘Vasallo-1’, ‘Larsen’, and ‘Aruz’ had the highest 7-year mean for number and the yield of fruit averaging 4479 fruit/ha and 1245 kg·ha−1, respectively. ‘Timothe’ and ‘Vasallo-1’ significantly out yielded the ‘Prolific’ rootstock seedling. The number of fruit per hectare and corresponding yield obtained in this study were very low probably as the result of wind exposure, the presence of the fungus Pestalotia causing floral necrosis, or both. Scion/rootstock incompatibility was not the cause of the low yield performance of grafted trees. The average individual weight of fruit was 282 g and ranged from 264 to 303 g. Averaged over rootstock seedlings, leaf tissue nutrient concentration did not vary greatly over time. Moreover, tissue nutrient concentration was similar before and after fertilization events.

Peşteli Hüseyin Hisali is known as Budinli or Peşteli Hisâlî. Little is known about his life in the sources. His most important contribution to Ottoman literature is the magazine called Metâli'ü'n-nezâ'ir, which he composed in two volumes with his own handwriting. It is an inevitable neces-sity to make use of magazines in order to make the history of Turkish literature fully formed. The divan or divançes of many poets who made significant contributions to the classical Turkish literature were either not created or survived. In order to reach the poets of these poets and to make evaluations about them, it is necessary to examine the magazines. In the last ten years, academic studies and publications have been made on classical Turkish literature poems or ma-gazines containing only couplets or mufra. This situation is undoubtedly gratifying. We believe that both volumes of Metâli'ü'n-nezâ'ir are noteworthy in terms of containing the poetry examp-les of hundreds of poets of classical Turkish literature. In this two-volume magazine, there are matla examples of Turkish poetry, of poets of Turkish literature that developed in the Ottoman geography and outside the Ottoman geography. There are a total of 27,310 couplets with matte in both volumes of the magazine. This is important in terms of exemplifying and exhibiting an important accumulation. They adopted the Arab and Persian culture-literature styles, which the Turks recognized immediately after their acceptance of Islam, and adapted them to their own literatures. One of these common features of Islamic literatures is the measure of prosody. Metâli'ü'n-nezâ gives important clues about what the full-fledged names of the measure of aruz used in classical Turkish poetry are. In 2011, at Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Peşteli Hisâlî Metâliü'n-nezâ'ir (Second - Volume) Examination - Text, which we pre-pared under the consultancy of Ahmet Mermer, is included in the full-fledged names of the pro-sody patterns in our doctoral thesis. In this study, which we prepared by making use of our the-sis and other sources, the prosody patterns used in Classical Turkish literature were given toget-her with their names.

In all the treatises on poetics, the theory of the science of rhyme is presented under separate sections, along with such sciences as literary types and genres, artistic arts, aruz weight. In classical literature, the types of rhyme are studied according to several aspects.It should be noted separately that the perfect use of these types according to different aspects of rhyme determined the perfection of stanzas. The composition of these rhyme types is related to the participation of rhyming letters. In the article, the theoretical foundations of rhyming letters in treatises on poetics are studied in a comparative form.

Opposing polymer brush systems were synthesized and investigated by molecular modeling. Chains were restricted to a face-centered cubic lattice with the excluded volume interactions only. The system was confined between two parallel impenetrable walls, with the same number of chains grafted to each surface. The dynamic properties of such systems were studied by Monte Carlo simulations based on the dynamic lattice liquid model and using a highly efficient parallel machine ARUZ, which enabled the study of large systems and long timescales. The influence of the surface density and mean polymer length on the system dynamic was discussed. The self-diffusion coefficient of the solvent depended strongly on the degree of polymerization and on the polymer concentration. It was also shown that it is possible to capture changes in solvent mobility that can be attributed to the regions of different polymer densities.

A model of the polymerization process during the formation of a pair of polymer brushes was designed and investigated. The obtained system consisted of two impenetrable parallel surfaces with the same number of chains grafted on both surfaces. Coarse-grained chains embedded in nodes of a face-centered cubic lattice with excluded volume interactions were obtained by a ‘grafted from’ procedure. The structure of synthesized macromolecular systems was also studied. Monte Carlo simulations using the dynamic lattice liquid model were employed using dedicated parallel machine ARUZ in a large size and time scale. The parameters of the polymerization process were found to be crucial for the proper structure of the brush. It was found that for high grafting densities, chains were increasingly compressed, and there is surprisingly little interpenetration of chains from opposite surfaces. It was predicted and confirmed that in a polydisperse sample, the longer chains have unique configurations consisting of a stretched stem and a coiled crown.

Divan şairlerinin ramazan ayı vesilesiyle padişahlara, devlet büyüklerine veya hamilerine sundukları ve nesip bölümünde ramazanı anlatan ve genellikle kaside nazım şekliyle yazdıkları, “ramazaniyye” adı verilen bu manzumeler, Osmanlı toplumunun ramazan ayına bakışını tespit etmede son derece önemli kaynaklardır. Ramazaniyyeler, başta kasideler olmak üzere farklı nazım şekilleriyle de yazılabilmektedir. Bu türde en çok manzume yazan şair Enderunlu Fazıl’dır. Enderunlu Fazıl’ın Divan’ında yirmi biri kaside ve ikisi de terkip-bent olmak üzere toplam yirmi üç tane ramazaniyye türünde manzume bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda, Enderunlu Fazıl Divanı’nda yer alan ramazaniyye türü manzumeler, şekil ve muhteva bakımından incelenmiştir. Manzumelerin nazım şekilleri, beyit-bent sayısı, aruz kalıpları, kafiye ve redif özellikleri, şekil incelemesinde ele alınmıştır. In this project, the selected vehicles were ranked based on their segments. The best car for sedan is Proton Persona, Proton Iriz was ranked as the best hatchback, Perodua Alza is the best MPV and Perodua Aruz was ranked as the best SUV. This result was based on the main criteria which are cost and total displacement, then follow by seat capacity, boot capacity, and top speed of the vehicle.

The article discusses the artistic skill of Alisher Navoi and the problems of the poet’s lyrical style. The author analyzes the originality of the poet’s lyrical style on the material of his own collections of poems composed and edited by his own - “Badoy ul-Bidoya” (“Rare Beginnings”), “Navadyr un-nihoya” (“The Beginnings of the End”) and “Khaza’ine ul-Maani” (“Treasure of Thoughts”). The poet’s artistic and aesthetic views are most vividly reflected in his artistic techniques to create the image of the lyrical hero, in the application of aruz technique, also in the verses of social content. In the collections of Navai poems, the Great Creator’s ghazal praises, reflecting the advanced ideas of Eastern religious thinking, occupy a wide place. In them, the poet expresses his humane reflections, which go beyond national, racial, primitive-religious, ideological barriers and praise the person, serve for his spiritual perfection. One of the main criteria of Navai’s poetry is its reflection of the positive ideas of Sufism, the poet’s belonging to the Sufi Naqshbandia

ABSTRACT Arginine utilization in Pseudomonas aeruginosa with multiple catabolic pathways represents one of the best examples of the metabolic versatility of this organism. To identify genes involved in arginine catabolism, we have employed DNA microarrays to analyze the transcriptional profiles of this organism in response to l-arginine. While most of the genes involved in arginine uptake, regulation, and metabolism have been identified as members of the ArgR (arginine-responsive regulatory protein) regulon in our previous study, they did not include any genes of the arginine dehydrogenase (ADH) pathway. In this study, 18 putative transcriptional units of 38 genes, including the two known genes of the ADH pathway, kauB and gbuA, were found to be inducible by exogenous l-arginine in the absence of ArgR. To identify the missing genes that encode enzymes for the initial steps of the ADH pathway, the potential physiological functions of those candidate genes in arginine utilization were studied by growth phenotype analysis of knockout mutants. Expression of these genes was induced by l-arginine in an aruF mutant strain devoid of a functional arginine succinyltransferase pathway, the major route of arginine utilization. Disruption of dadA, a putative catabolic alanine dehydrogenase-encoding gene, in the aruF mutant produced no growth on l-arginine, suggesting the involvement of l-alanine in arginine catabolism. This hypothesis was further supported by the detection of an l-arginine-inducible arginine:pyruvate transaminase activity in the aruF mutant. Knockout of aruH and aruI, which encode an arginine:pyruvate transaminase and a 2-ketoarginine decarboxylase in an operon, also abolished the ability of the aruF mutant to grow on l-arginine. The results of high-performance liquid chromatography analysis demonstrated consumption of 2-ketoarginine and suggested that generation of 4-guanidinobutyraldehyde occurred in the aruF mutant but not in the aruF aruI mutant. These results led us to propose the arginine transaminase pathway that removes the α-amino group of l-arginine via transamination instead of oxidative deamination by dehydrogenase or oxidase as originally proposed. In the same genetic locus, we also identified a two-component system, AruRS, for the regulation of arginine-responsive induction of the arginine transaminase pathway. This work depicted a wider network of arginine metabolism than we previously recognized.

Arap edebiyatında doğup dil ve musiki âlimi El-Halil tarafından sistemleştirilen aruz vezni İran ve Türk edebiyatlarında kendi dil ihtiyaçlarına göre şekillenerek kullanılmıştır. Hecelerin kısalık ve uzunlukları esasına dayanan nazım ölçüsdü olan aruz vezni Türk şiirinde önceleri hece vezni ile paralelik gösterirken daha sonra ki dönemlerde dildeki değişikliklerle kendi kurallarını tesis etmiş ve gelişerek azımsanmayacak bir başarı göstermiştir. Aruz veznine dair gerek Arap edebiyatında gerekse İran ve Türk edebiyatında birçok eser ya da risale kaleme alınmıştır. Osmanlı Edebiyatında son dönemde özellikle aruz vezni üzerine inceleme ve tenkit yazıları da kaleme alınmıştır. Kaleme alınan bu çalışmalardan makalemize mevzu olan İlm-i Aruz kitabı ise aruz veznini tetkik mahiyetinde bir kitaptır. Eserde aruz vezni klasik usluba nazaran tanıtılmış ve dönemin merkteplerinde okutulması amacı ile kaleme alındığı için açıklayıcı ve öğretici bir gaye güdülmüştür. Bu sebeple ederde ayrıntılara yer verilerek örnekler bolca tutulmıuştur. Bu eser, Manastırlı Mehmet Rıfat’ın Mecâmi’ü’l-Edeb isimli kitabının içinde bir bölümdür. Mecâmi’ü’l-Edeb isimli üç ciltlik kitabın ikinci cildinin birinci kitabı olan İlm-i Aruz kitabında aruz vezni tarif edilerek aruza dair ıstılahat hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu malumatlara ilaveten aruz daireleri ve bahirleri hakkında örneklerle izahatlar yapılmıştır. Makalede evvela Mecâmi’ü’l-Edeb isimli eserin İlm-i Aruz kitabı ve içeriği anlatılmış ve sonrasında da eserin sadeleştirilmiş şekli verilmiştir. Bu çalışma vesilesiyle, adı geçen eser ve muhtevasına dair aruz ilmi sahasında bir katkı sunmak esas gaye olarak görülmüştür.
