Abstract (sommario):
Agricultural support policies are important for the sustainability of the agricultural sector of the countries. Policy instruments may change on the basis of countries and periods. In this research, the effects of Turkey's supply deficit experienced which are sunflower, soybean, safflower and rapeseed cultivation areas of deficiency payment supports were investigated. The research includes between 1994-2016 years. Granger Causality Test and Johansen Cointegration Test was used. According to the results obtained, the effect of deficiency payment support on sunflower producer decisions was statistically significant. Safflower, rapeseed and soybean on cultivation areas while there was no significant effect. However, it has been determined that the between deficiency payment support with the current prices is available an interaction. Accordingly, it may be advisable to discuss of the different payment support with a participatory approach, taking into account the problems experienced in support policies in the past periods. The maintenance of such supports can be expressed as a requirement, since it is in property of being protected in terms of market prices. However, from one side, the place of support in the budget, from the other side. the effects on the producer's income taking into consideration should not be taken away from a balanced policy approach.

Abstract (sommario):

Abstract (sommario):
INTRODUCTION. Healthcare databases are a valuable source for epidemiological research in obstructive sleep apnoea, but accurately registered diagnoses are pivotal in contributing quality evidence. We examined positive predictive values (PPV) of the International Classification of Diseases, tenth version (ICD-10) diagnosis for “obstructive sleep apnoea” and “sleep apnoea” in the Danish National Patient Register. METHODS. Using the Danish National Patient Registry, we randomly sampled 100 patients from the North Denmark Region diagnosed with “obstructive sleep apnoea” (ICD-10 code DG4732) and 100 patients diagnosed with “sleep apnoea” (DG473*) during the year 2020. We calculated the PPV using a documented Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) ≥ 5 to confirm the recorded diagnosis. A total of 70 patients were referred to the private sector for assessment of the AHI and excluded due to limited access to their data. RESULTS. The study population included 130 patients, among whom 64 were diagnosed with “obstructive sleep apnoea”, and 66 patients were registered with “sleep apnoea”. The PPV for “obstructive sleep apnoea” was 93.8% (95% confidence interval (CI): 85.0-97.5%), and the PPV for “sleep apnoea” was 80.3% (95% CI: 69.2-88.1%). CONCLUSIONS. Our findings indicated a high validity of the ICD-10 code DG4732 with a PPV of 93.8% and a lower PPV (80.3%) for the ICD-10 code DG473* for identifying patients with obstructive sleep. The “obstructive sleep apnoea” diagnosis is a suitable source of data for epidemiological research to identify patients with the disease. FUNDING. None. TRIAL REGISTRATION. Not relevant.

Abstract (sommario):
Although numerous radiologic parameters of abnormal hip joint morphology are utilized in practice, studies on the relation of these parameters to acetabular fractures are limited. This study hypothesized that certain morphological features of hip joints are associated with acetabular posterior wall (PW) fracture patterns and aimed to identify morphological characteristics predictive of acetabular PW fracture. The records of 107 consecutive patients, who were diagnosed with acetabular fractures in a level I trauma center from August 2017 to April 2021, were initially reviewed. After excluding patients who lacked proper radiographic evaluation and had previous surgery or concomitant injury on the ipsilateral lower limb, a total of 99 patients were analyzed to investigate the morphological characteristics of the hip joint, measured in computed tomography, associated with acetabular posterior wall fracture. We included patient demographics, acetabular index (AI), sharp angle, acetabular depth-to-width ratio (AD/WR), center-edge angle (CEA), head–neck offset ratio (HNOR), acetabular head index (AHI), anterior acetabular sector angle (AASA), posterior acetabular sector angle (PASA), and acetabular version angle (AVA) in the univariate and multivariate analyses. The injury mechanism (p = 0.001) and AD/WR (p = 0.021) were predictors of PW fracture in the univariate analysis. In the multivariable analysis, injury mechanism (p = 0.011), AI (coefficient B = 0.320; Exp (B) = 1.377; p = 0.017), and AD/WR (coefficient B = 33.047; Exp (B) = 2.250 × 1014; p = 0.028) were significant predictors of PW fracture. This study highlights the importance of morphological factors, such as a larger AI and AD/WR, that may influence joint stress distribution, resulting in acetabular PW fracture. Understanding these pathomechanisms may protect the hip joint and prevent future injuries through the early identification and treatment of pathological conditions.

Abstract (sommario):
Abstract Bee venom (BV) is a rich source of secondary metabolites from honeybees (Apis mellifera L.). It contains a variety of bioactive ingredients including peptides, proteins, enzymes, and volatile metabolites. This study investigated the antibacterial effects of the bee venom obtained from honey bees (Apis mellifera L.) against bacterial fish pathogens, such as Lactococcus garvieae (Lg1, Lg2, Lg3), Vibrio anguillarum (Va1, Va2, Va3), Yersinia ruckeri (Yr1, Yr2, Yr3), and Aeromonas hydrophila (Ah1, Ah2, Ah3) and the expression levels on the antibiotic resistance genes hly and fbp (hemolysin and fibronectin-binding prot) of them. It was determined that bee venom had an antibacterial effect against L. garvieae, L. anguillarum, and Y. ruckeri strains, while it had no effect only against Ah3 and Ah2 bacterial strains. As staded by the gene expression of hly (hemolysin) and fbp (fibronectin-binding protein), among the antibiotic resistance genes the effect levels of bee venom on bacterial species varied, although it affected antibiotic resistance and gene expression level in all bacteria. It was revealed that the expression level was the highest for V. anguillarum strains, whereas it was below the control group for L. garvieae. i.e the effect of bee venom on the resistance mechanism for L. garvieae was much less compared to V. anguillarum. Based on the results in the current study it could be concluded that applying bee venom to pathogenic bacteria that cause mortality in the aquaculture sector could induce the defense-related gene and change the broad-spectrum biocontrol activity at the molecular level.

Abstract (sommario):
China’s carbon intensity (CI) reduction target in 2030 needs to be allocated to each province in order to be achieved. Thus, it is of great significance to study the vertical linkage of CI change between China and its provinces. The existing research on the vertical linkage focuses more on energy-related economic sectors in China; however, attention has not been paid to China’s animal husbandry (AH) sector, although the role of the China’s AH sector in greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction is increasingly important. This study firstly established a vertical linkage of change in greenhouse gas emission intensity of the animal husbandry sector (AHGI) between China and its 31 provinces based on the logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) decomposing method from the perspective of combining emission reduction with economic development, and quantified the contributions of each province and its three driving factors of environmental efficiency (AHEE), productive efficiency (AHPE), and economic share (AHES) to reducing China’s AHGI during the period of 1997–2016. The main results are: (1) The AHGI of China decreased from 5.49 tCO2eq/104 yuan in 1997 to 2.59 tCO2eq/104 in 2016, showing a 75.25% reduction. The AHGI in 31 provinces also declined and played a positive role in promoting the reduction of national AHGI, but there were significant inter-provincial differences in the extent of the contribution. Overall, the provinces with higher emission levels contributed the most to the reduction of China’s AHGI; (2) The AHPE and AHEE factors in 31 provinces cumulatively contributed to the respective 68.17% and 11.78% reduction of China’s AHGI, while the AHES factors of 31 provinces cumulatively inhibited the 4.70% reduction. Overall, the AHPE factor was the main driving factor contributing to the reduction of China’s AHGI. In the future, improving the level of AHEE through GHG emissions reduction technology and narrowing the inter-provincial gap of the level of AHPE are two important paths for promoting the reduction of China’s AHGI.

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractPeople surviving severe acquired brain injury (ABI) may potentially benefit from the Council of Australian Governments' (COAG) 5-year initiative for young people with disability in residential aged-care facilities. Yet critical examination of this policy initiative for ABI population is warranted for 2 reasons. First, reliance on the disability sector to resolve the complexities of long-term care for people with ABI detracts attention from systemic failures at the health/disability sector interface, and notably, debate concerning the role of, and right to rehabilitation. Second, the COAG initiative is being pursued within an extraordinarily complex and variable contemporary care environment, involving multiple services and sectors, and historically, high unmet need. This raises questions as to the adequacy and sustainability of care provided under the responsibility of state-based disability services. In this article, it is argued that long-term care for young people with severe ABI is better served by incorporating a health and rehabilitation perspective alongside a disability support approach. Although the effectiveness of rehabilitation may be contested in some instances of very severe ABI, nevertheless the role of rehabilitation in seeking to reduce the number of young people at risk of entering residential aged care needs to be addressed in policy solutions. It is also suggested that provision of long time care in the contemporary care environment involves a number of challenges due to the complex and changing patterns of need, diverse funding arrangements and mix of government and nongovernment services, and the increasing demand for care.

Abstract (sommario):
Artificial intelligence (A.I.) provides the ability to interpret massive amounts of data, which many industries are already taking advantage of. This contribution aims to investigate the potential applications of A.I. in healthcare in order to understand how it can help optimize resources in a sector that risks becoming unsustainable due to high costs and lengthy care processes. Because A.I. development is constantly evolving, the authors examined the relevant literature, focusing on the last decade to highlight the significant advances made during this time period. A scheme of uses based on the care phases is presented as a result of the analysis. This scheme, which is made up of 4 + 1 categories, can help frame and analyze potential uses. Before the conclusion, the last section of the contribution addresses the remaining challenges and discovers that there are at least three types of open issues that must be resolved before A.I. can be effectively used in healthcare, as well as other sectors. A.I may revolutionize the delivery of healthcare services, but this process must be guided because the technology does not appear to be sufficiently mature and solutions to several problems must be found.

Abstract (sommario):
This thesis in sociology aims to understand the range of structural factors and individual reasons behind the growth of the number of homeless people in France. At the end of this work, the various working of the social factory of homelessness will be updated and it will then become possible for us to understand why a social phenomenon, which has been a major preoccupation of our institutions for the last 40 years, has not been resolved. …/…I am able to provide a detailed answer to this question thanks to the new point of view I have had on the institutions responsible for taking charge of homelessness. Indeed, from 2015 to 2018, I was hired as a CIFRE doctoral researcher in the Service Intégré d'Accueil et d'Orientation (SIAO) in Val-d'Oise. Thus, I was integrated into the heart of the Reception, Accommodation and Insertion (AHI) sector of this department, which allowed me to have an inside look at the operation of these devices. I conducted an ethnographic of the work of AHI actors and the daily life of homeless people. Thereby, this thesis was an opportunity to describe the main stages and dynamics of the process of self-transformation experienced by homeless people. To this end, I used the concept of a career of homeless, whose modelling constitutes one of the contributions of this thesis. In this perspective, a follow-up of several years of 80 trajectories of homeless households was carried out

Abstract (sommario):
Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) is one of the most well-known branch of decision making, representing a starting point for solving important practical issues. In the present thesis, two methods are applied: Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS . In order to deal with this problem, the objective of the thesis is to validate or not a future possible investment proposed by a Paduan (IT) aluminium enterprise. It would like to implement a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Morocco in a local firm belonging to the same industry sector. The goal of the thesis is the identification of the best country in the Mediterranean zone where apply the FDI for a medium-large aluminium enterprise of Italian North-East. The final result will not validate the investment proposed by the Paduan firm and reward Morocco as not the best area for this type of investment. Fuzzy AHP method identifies the factors (cost, labour characteristics, political and economic factors…) necessary to consider for this type of investment, while TOPSIS method, through the previous result, creates the final rank of countries from the best one where apply an FDI for an aluminium company to the worst one.

Abstract (sommario):
This thesis investigates Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) adoption and implementation in Service Sector Organisations (SSOs). ERP is a business management system that has emerged to support organisations to use a system of integrated applications to enhance their Information Technology (IT) infrastructures, enhance business processes and deliver high quality of services. Regardless of the fact that several other sector organisations have adopted and implemented ERP systems, its application in SSOs is rather inadequate. Among other reasons, two core rationales can be attributed to the latter fact – firstly, SSOs lack the sufficient knowledge, expertise and training to implement such sophisticated integrated systems and secondly, the top management lacks the ability to take appropriate decisions for ERP adoption and implementation. However, merely focusing on a number of factors influencing ERP adoption and implementation may not be suffice, as there is a need for a systematic decision-making process for adopting and implementing ERP systems in SSOs. The limited number of ERP systems’ applications in SSOs has resulted in inadequate research in this area with many issues, like its adoption and implementation requiring further exploration. Despite, the implications of ERP systems have yet to be assessed in SSOs, leaving ample scope for relevance and producing a unique piece of research work. Thus, the author demonstrates that it is of high importance to investigate this area within SSOs and contribute towards successful ERP adoption and implementation. This thesis makes a step forward and contributes to the body of knowledge as it: investigates factors influencing the decision-making process for ERP adoption and implementation in SSOs, prioritises the importance of factors influencing ERP adoption and implementation, evaluates ERP lifecycle phases and stages, maps the ERP factors on different phases and stages of the ERP lifecycle, and in doing so, to propose a model for ERP adoption and implementation in SSOs. The author claims that such an ERP adoption and implementation process in SSOs is significant and novel as: it extends established norms for ERP adoption and implementation, by including Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique for prioritising the importance of factors, thus, facilitating SSOs to produce more robust proposals for ERP adoption and implementation. The author further assess the proposed ERP adoption and implementation model by using a qualitative, interpretive, multiple case study research strategy. Findings from two case studies demonstrate that such a systematic approach contributes towards more robust decisions for ERP adoption and implementation and indicates that it is acceptable by the case study organisations. The thesis proposes, assesses and presents a novel model for ERP adoption and implementation in SSOs and contributes to the body of knowledge by extending the literature.

Decision-making processes involving a large number of criteria are often complex problems. In general, such problems seek to meet conflicting interests, so single solutions tend not to address the preferences of all agents involved in the process. This is the case of the problem of selection models for generation of stochastic scenarios of Natural Inflow Energy (NIE), which are input to the calculation of the medium term hydrothermal dispatch in the planning of the operation of the Brazilian Electric System (BES). This paper proposes an extension of a well-established multicriteria decision support method, so that it becomes able to reveal the preference of expert committees, and from these revealed preferences to derive more adequate solutions for each committee. The application of this methodology proposed in the context of BES is done to help different segments of the industry (academia, industry and regulator) to identify which model of scenario generation best suits the preferences of these segments. To this end, the specialists of these three sectors were grouped and from the revelation of the preferences of each committee a new ordering of the scenario generating models was proposed. The preferences revealed for the academy and industry committees corroborated the conjectures about the predilections of these sectors, fidelity in the representation of the moments for the academy and capacity of replication of the variance for the industry, however the hypothesis for predilection for the replication of deficit was not able to be verified to the regulatory committee. Among the new solutions obtained, the best classified model for the academy and industry was the PAR (p) Multiplicative and for the regulatory committee the PAR (p) Boot-MC.

Abstract (sommario):
The objective of this article is to address the case of an SME company in the wine sector, whose main problem is the non-fulfillment of customer orders. Among the reasons that cause this problem is the lack of available raw material due to inadequate planning when making the purchase orders to the supplier, which affects the company's inventory management. Also, other causes are the delay of the supplier in the delivery of the raw material and the delivery of the raw material with defects. This is due to an inappropriate choice of the optimal supplier and the fact that the company currently only has one supplier, which affects production and the fulfillment of customer orders within the established time frame. Based on this, studies were carried out where it is proposed to implement a management model based on MRP, oriented to supply management and AHP, oriented to supplier management; In order to reduce by 10% the percentage of non-compliance with respect to the requested orders and maintain a substantial improvement in the reliability of customers and suppliers towards the company.

Abstract (sommario):

Abstract (sommario):
The expansion of urban centers, determined by area demand, is strongly associated with the vulnerability of the population. This breakthrough often occurs toward fragile environments such as riverbanks, slopes and springs. In this way, environmental changes triggered by anthropic activitythe changes in the environment, triggered by the anthropic activities, have contributed strongly to greater exposure of the population and consequent flood impacts. Vulnerability mappings are very important non-structural measures to assess the characteristics of a given population, which make them more or less prone to the impacts of a flood. Along these lines, the main objective of this work is to propose a methodology, based on the use of GIS, to map vulnerability to flood, from the integration of census data and other sources, using as a case study, the municipality of Igrejinha, RS. The urban spot present in each IBGE census tract was used as the unit of study. Ten indicators were elaborated in three dimensions that sought to evaluate demographic, social, and infrastructure and sanitation aspects. The data used come from IBGE and also from other surveys conducted in the municipality by other authors. It is understood in this research that each indicator has a different importance and is assigned a specific weight for each indicator and dimension by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The weights were assigned by specialists in the area and by Civil Protection and Defense agents to two distinct phases of disaster management: response and recovery. By means of tools present in GIS, the dasymetric method was used for the data to the urban spot of each census sector. As a result, a map of each indicator and size was obtained, as well as the final map of vulnerability to flooding. Maps with weights assigned for response and retrieval were generated. In each generated map, it is possible to observe the most vulnerable areas of the study area, which corresponded to the Igrejinha Social Interest Zones. In order to observe certain aspects that could lead to vulnerability, according to the indicators used, the Google Street View tool was used. Due to its low cost, as well as the ease of obtaining the data, the proposed methodology can be replicated in any Brazilian municipality.

Abstract (sommario):
Abstract Many companies have followed the trend toward exposing their business assets through open (i.e., Web) application programming interfaces (APIs). However, these firms appear to have adopted API technology largely to meet their customers’ needs and demands. The pressures on industries to develop, implement, and maintain API products and services can prevent companies from gaining a greater awareness of API development’s benefits. Firms may thus miss out on related monetary or non-monetary exploitation of their business assets. This study explored the status of the API economy and development among Finnish industries. The dataset comprised publicly available information from 226 private and public organizations representing a variety of industries, such as industrial, consumer goods, and services sectors. The current status of API readiness, types, protocols, and monetization models is presented to provide a more comprehensive overview.

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractThis paper presents a study of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Norwegian public sector. The study focused particularly on projects involving personal data, which adds a risk of discriminating against individuals and social groups. The study included a survey of 200 public sector organizations and 19 interviews with representatives for AI projects involving personal data. The findings suggest that AI development in the public sector is still immature, and few projects involving personal data have reached the stage of production. Political pressure to use AI in the sector is significant. Limited knowledge and focus on AI development among managements has made individuals and units with the resources and interest in experimenting with AI an important driving force. The study found that the journey from idea to production of AI in the public sector presents many challenges, which often leads to projects being temporarily halted or terminated. While AI can contribute to the streamlining and improvement of public services, it also involves risks and challenges, including the risk of producing incorrect or discriminatory results affecting individuals and groups when personal data is involved. The risk of discrimination was, however, not a significant concern in the public sector AI projects. Instead, other concepts such as ethics, fairness, and transparency took precedence in most of the project surveyed here.

Abstract (sommario):
The present study provides an analysis of sectoral risk in the forestry sector and presents an overview of multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) for sector development assessment. The main aim of the paper is to determine the macroeconomic indicators and to assess sectorial risk, which is caused by unexpected macroeconomic and market changes. The paper presents a methodological framework for the analysis of sectoral level risk to assess the probability of the stable development of the industry and to determine the risk for the forestry sector (industry). Based on expert opinions and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), the authors have identified and evaluated macroeconomic industry-level data indicators (factors) used to determine the development of the forestry sector. An analysis matrix with the defined and verified indicators (factors) is presented; the comparison between sectoral inicators and sectoral volatility is shown. In order to combine industry development indicators (factors) expressed in different units of meas-urement and to establish a comprehensive indicator of industry development, the statistical standardisation (normalisation) of indicators is performed.

Abstract (sommario):
This paper presents the application of expert decision methods for the formulation and prioritisation of the long-term economic, social and environmental policies in the Slovak Republic. The Partnership Agreement for the Slovak Republic is an underlying strategy for investments from the European Structural and Investment Funds in the period 2021-2027. Policies implemented under the Partnership Agreement will allocate €13.4b on four policy objectives. This paper concentrates on the policy objective 4 ‘Social development’. The authors co-operated with the Deputy Prime Minister Office and assembled panels of top Slovak experts on social and economic issues. The Delphi and Analytical hierarchy process methods were combined for analysing major development challenges and eliciting policy priorities. The methods combined the bottom-up and top-down approaches to policy making. Consecutive rounds of the ‘classical Delphi’ generated consensus by experts on major development challenges of the Slovak Republic in period 2021-2027. The ‘policy Delphi’ encouraged structured public dialogue in order to generate policy alternatives for solving development challenges. The Analytical Hierarchy Process enabled the structuring of complex policy decision problems. A hierarchy of decision goals, decision alternatives and decision criteria was constructed. Some nine policy measures were drafted and prioritised.

Abstract (sommario):
Several studies have found that e-commerce can have a positive impact on any type of business. Some surveys show that the use of e-commerce in Latvia is a problem for most companies in the SME sector; however, there is still a lack of in-depth research to justify the directions of action contained in strategic policy documents. The purpose of the article is to provide analysis of external and internal factors that affect the use of electronic commerce in the SME sector. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to identify the factors that most positively and negatively affect the e-commerce development of companies. Data from the expert survey were used to conduct the analysis with the AHP method. 17 experts from the state administration, academia and the business environment participated in the survey, who assessed the impact of various internal and external factors on the use of e-commerce in companies. Since the application of e-commerce in companies is one of the measures for faster recovery of the state of the national economy, including developing the export of the SME sector in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period, recommendations have been prepared for public and commercial organizations to have a positive impact on the use of e-commerce in SMEs.

Abstract (sommario):
The main objective of this paper is to study the situation of LSP operating in the agricultural sector which is a key sector for the Moroccan economy. This study will help contractors to make a correct decision concerning the choice of a performing LSP in the agricultural sector, while providing a multi-criteria decision method (MCDM): fuzzy AHP. Nowadays the expansion in terms of service has become crucial for any implementation of a successful outsourcing strategy and to attract and convince contractors through well adapted services, furthermore, the diversity in terms of the offer made by the LSP and the competitiveness between them made the task of the contractors complicated. This paper intended to provide an exploratory study grouping, on the one hand, the various Moroccan LSP and the level of their service offered in logistics services in the agriculture field, and on the other hand, the different criteria that influence the choice of those LSP. As a result, a proposal of an MCDM is established. The objective is to provide the contractors with a decision-making tool for selecting suitable LSP to collaborate with and evaluating the outsourcing performance.

Abstract (sommario):
As directed by the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Act of 2020 (P.L. 116-283), the goal of the AI RMF is to offer a resource to the organizations designing, developing, deploying, or using AI systems to help manage the many risks of AI and promote trustworthy and responsible development and use of AI systems. The Framework is intended to be voluntary, rights-preserving, non-sector specific, and use-case agnostic, providing flexibility to organizations of all sizes and in all sectors and throughout society to implement the approaches in the Framework. The AI RMF is intended to be practical, to adapt to the AI landscape as AI technologies continue to develop, and to be operationalized by organizations in varying degrees and capacities so society can benefit from AI while also being protected from its potential harms.

Abstract (sommario):
This report aims to aid governments in Latin America and the Caribbean in embracing the opportunities public sector data utilization and artificial intelligence (AI) deployment can provide in achieving a circular economy model and the UNs Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For such purpose, the report provides a novel concept of sharing data between key players that we have named data cross-pollination. Drawing on this concept, it considers four SDGs, i.e., energy, sustainable food systems, reducing pollution, and smart cities. Building on case studies and initiatives, the report highlights the main challenges and opportunities of utilizing data to achieve a circular economy model and sustainable development. It also looks into the potential of AI to enrich such data cross-pollination and focuses on potential applications of AI in circular innovation that can be transposed in the public sector.

Abstract (sommario):
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the oldest fields of computer science used in building structures that look like human beings in terms of thinking, learning, solving problems, and decision making (Jovanovic et al., 2021). AI technologies and techniques have been in application in various aspects to aid in solving problems and performing tasks more reliably, efficiently, and effectively than what would happen without their use. These technologies have also been reshaping the health sector's field, particularly digital tools and medical robotics (Dantas & Nogaroli, 2021). The new reality has been feasible since there has been exponential growth in the patient health data collected globally. The different technological approaches are revolutionizing medical sciences into dataintensive sciences (Dantas & Nogaroli, 2021). Notably, with digitizing medical records supported the increasing cloud storage, the health sector created a vast and potentially immeasurable volume of biomedical data necessary for implementing robotics and AI. Despite the notable use of AI in healthcare sectors such as dermatology and radiology, its use in psychological healthcare has neem models. Considering the increased mortality and morbidity levels among patients with psychiatric illnesses and the debilitating shortage of psychological healthcare workers, there is a vital requirement for AI and robotics to help in identifying high-risk persons and providing measures that avert and treat mental disorders (Lee et al., 2021). This discussion is focused on understanding how AI and robotics could be employed in improving mental health in the human community. The continued success of this technology in other healthcare fields demonstrates that it could also be used in redefining mental sicknesses objectively, identifying them at a prodromal phase, personalizing the treatments, and empowering patients in their care programs.

Abstract (sommario):
The report recommends that: 1) Policymakers should conduct holistic assessments of social, economic, and cultural factors before AI adoption in the water sector, as prospective applications of AI are case- specific. It is also important to conduct baseline studies to measure the implementation capacity, return on investment, and impact of intervention. 2) To ensure positive development outcomes, policies regarding the use of AI for water-related challenges should be coupled with capacity and infrastructure development policies. Capacity development policies need to address the AI and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) needs for the AI-related skill development of all water-related stakeholders. Infrastructure development policies should address the underlying requirements of computation, energy, data generation, and storage. The sequencing of these policies is critical. 3) To mitigate the predicted job displacement that will accompany AI-led innovation in the water sector, policies should direct investments towards enabling a skilled workforce by developing water sector-related education at all levels. This skilled workforce should be strategically placed to offset dependency on the private sector. 4) Water-related challenges are cross-cutting running from grassroots to the global level and require an understanding of the water ecosystem. It is important for countries connected by major rivers and watersheds to collaborate in developing policies that advance the use of AI to address common water-related challenges. 5) A council or agency with representation from all stakeholders should be constituted at the national level, to allow for the successful adoption of AI by water agencies. This council or agency should be tasked with the development of policies, guidelines, and codes of conduct for the adoption of AI in the water-sector. These key policy recommendations can be used as primary guidelines for the development of strategies and plans to use AI to help achieve water-related SDGs.
