AbstractThis research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experimental), which aims to see whether or not there is an influence of the application of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model to the ability to understand mathematical concepts of Grade VIII students of SMPN 4 Tarakan. Descriptive analysis results with an average achievement of the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students in the experimental class is 79.7414 and 60.2778 in the control class. The highest value obtained by students in the experimental class was 97.50 and the lowest value was 52.50 while in the control class the highest value was 82.50 and the lowest value was 45.00. For the average achievement of all indicators of students' understanding of mathematical concepts for the experimental class is higher than in the control class. So, the application of Reciprocal Teaching learning model can be said to affect the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Tarakan. Hasil analisis deskriptif dengan rata-rata pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa di kelas eksperimena dalah 79,7414 dan pada kelas kontrol 60,2778. Adapun nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa di kelas eksperimen sebesar 97,50 dan nilai terendah sebesar 52,50 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai tertinggi sebesar 82,50 dan nilai terendah sebesar 45,00. Untuk rata-rata pencapaian dari seluruh indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa untuk kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Jadi, penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dapat dikatakan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Tarakan.Kata Kunci: Ekperimen, Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching, Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa

This research aims to reveal language skills among students. To answer the research question, it was conducted using a questionnaire technique. The questionnaire (which contained 11 questions) was distributed to 40 FPP students, Diponegoro University, Semarang via online (ms team). Data were analyzed using PUEBI and Indonesian language standard grammar. The result, (1) the average respondent answered correctly at 54.54%; (2) respondents who answered correctly about number 1 by 87.50%; (3) for question number 2 as much as 0% (4) for question number 3, respondents who answered correctly were 2.5%; (5) for question number 4, amounting to 67.59%; (6) for problem number 5, amounting to 85%; (7) for question number 6, amounting to 62.50%, (8) for question number 7, amounting to 97.50%, (9) for question number 8, amounting to 6%, (10) for question number 9, amounting to 67 , 50%; (11) for question number 10 only 40%, and (12) for problem number 11 all respondents answered incorrectly.Keywords: Mistakes; language; Undip students.IntisariPenelitin ini bertujuan mengungkap kemampuan berbahasa di kalangan mahasiswa. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik angket. Angket (yang berisi 11 pertanyaan) dibagikan kepada 40 mahsiswa FPP, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang melalui daring (ms team). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan PUEBI dan tata basa baku bahasa Indonesia. Hasilnya, (1) rata-rata responden menjawab benar sebesar 54,54%; (2) responden yang menjawab benar soal nomor 1 sebesar 87,50%; (3) untuk soal nomor 2 sebanyak 0% (4) untuk soal nomor3, responden yang menjawab benar sebesar 2,5%; (5) untuk soal nomor 4, sebesar 67,59%, (6) untuk soal nomor 5, sebesar 85%; (7) untuk soal nomor 6, sebesar 62,50%, (8) untuk soal nomor 7, sebesar 97,50%, (9) untuk soal nomor 8, sebesar 6%, (10) untuk soal nomor 9, sebesar 67,50%; (11) untuk soal nomor 10 hanya 40%, dan (12) untuk soal nomor 11 semua responden jawabannya salah.Kata kunci: Kesalahan; berbahasa; mahasiswa Undip

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan uji kelayakan media pembelajaran lubel (ludo fabel) dalam pembelajaran menelaah struktur dan kebahasaan teks fabel siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 4-P yang memiliki 4 tahap penelitian diantaranya tahap pendefinisian, perencanaan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Data yang diolah dalam penelitian ini berbentuk data deskriptif kuantitatif. Data kuantitaf diperoleh dari angket yang telah disebarkan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, guru Bahasa Indonesia, serta siswa SMP kelas VII. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh penilaian sebesar 97,50% dari ahli materi, penilaian 92,31% dari ahli media, penilaian uji kepraktisan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia SMP diperoleh penilaian 95,58%, terakhir uji kemenarikan produk kepada siswa memperoleh hasil penilaian sebesar 92,04%. Jadi, seluruh penilaian yang diberikan oleh responden dinyatakan produk media pembelajaran lubel (ludo fabel) sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran menelaah struktur dan kebahasaan teks fabel siswa kelas VII SMP. Abstract: This study aims to produce a product and test the feasibility of lubel learning media (ludo fable) in learning to examine the structure and language of fable texts for seventh grade students of junior high school. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) 4-P model which has 4 stages of research including the stages of defining, planning, developing, and distributing. The data collection instrument in this study used a questionnaire and interviews. The data processed in this research is in the form of quantitative descriptive data. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaires that were distributed to material experts, media experts, Indonesian language teachers, and seventh grade junior high school students. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained an assessment of 97.50% from material experts, an assessment of 92.31% from media experts, an assessment of the practicality test by Indonesian junior high school teachers obtained an assessment of 95.58%, the last product attractiveness test to students obtained an assessment result of 92, 04%. So, all the assessments given by the respondents stated that the lubel learning media product (ludo fable) was very feasible to be implemented in learning to examine the structure and language of fable texts for seventh grade students of junior high school.

Abstract (sommario):
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat minat dan tingkat motivasi peserta didik dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Bola Voli pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatannya adalah surveyresearch(penelitian survei), jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yaitu : kuesioner minat dan kuesioner motivasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji konversi/interval katagori Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) terdapat tingkat minat yang sangat tinggi ini ditunjukan dari mean (rata-rata) skor minat pada konversi/interval katagori sebesar 97,56 berada diantara kreteria X ≥ Mi + 1,5 Sdi, interval nilai X ≥ 97,50, katagori sangat tinggi, (2) terdapat tingkat motivasi sangat tinggi ini ditunjukan dari mean (rata-rata) skor minat pada konversi/interval katagori sebesar 102,60 berada diantara kreteria X ≥ Mi + 1,5 Sdi, interval nilai X ≥ 97,50, katagori sangat tinggi. Kesimpulannya terdapat tingkat minat dan dan tingkat motivasi yang signifikan peserta didik dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Bola Voli pada masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract (sommario):
The quantity and quality of coal affects the efficiency of the generating unit, therefore the utilization of Transfer Conveyor 17A is very necessary to fulfill the fuel requirement (coal) of PT Indonesia Power Unit Generation Unit Suralaya. Transfer conveyor is an additional element in a conveyor belt circuit that serves to channel coal from unloading area until coal bunker (power plant). This study aims to find out the value of OEE Transfer Conveyor 17A which is used as the basis of proposed improvement based on the lowest value of the three parameters in OEE. The concept of research adopting OEE method with the value of quality is assumed 97,50% because the equipment that becomes the object of research does not produce the product. The result of calculation obtained by OEE value equal to 82,98% with ratio Availability 86,76% Performance Eficiency 98,09% and Rate of Quality 97,50%. A planned maintenance action is required to avoid unpredictable engine damage such as the operator checking the machine before it is operated, providing periodic training to operators and maintenance to improve their capabilities.

Fruit quality is a critical factor in the produce industry, affecting producers, distributors, consumers, and the economy. High-quality fruits are more appealing, nutritious, and safe, boosting consumer satisfaction and revenue for producers. Artificial intelligence can aid in assessing the quality of fruit using images. This paper presents a general machine learning model for assessing fruit quality using deep image features. This model leverages the learning capabilities of the recent successful networks for image classification called vision transformers (ViT). The ViT model is built and trained with a combination of various fruit datasets and taught to distinguish between good and rotten fruit images based on their visual appearance and not predefined quality attributes. The general model demonstrated impressive results in accurately identifying the quality of various fruits, such as apples (with a 99.50% accuracy), cucumbers (99%), grapes (100%), kakis (99.50%), oranges (99.50%), papayas (98%), peaches (98%), tomatoes (99.50%), and watermelons (98%). However, it showed slightly lower performance in identifying guavas (97%), lemons (97%), limes (97.50%), mangoes (97.50%), pears (97%), and pomegranates (97%).

Aim: This research aims to determine the presence of breast cancer using Machine learning techniques and improving the accuracy of breast cancer prediction. Materials and Methods: This study is done on the data obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository and is used to acquire the data sets for the research of Innovative breast cancer prediction using machine learning algorithms. Naive Bayes (N=20) and Support vector machine (N=20) with sample size in accordance to total sample size calculated using clincalc.com by keeping alpha error-threshold at 0.05, confidence interval at 95%, enrollment ratio as 0:1, and power at 80%. Results: The Naive Bayes algorithm results in an accuracy of 92.25% with P=0.001,p<0.05 a sensitivity of 95.53% with P=0.001,p<0.05 and a precision of 90.87% with P=0.001,p<0.05. Support vector machine algorithm results in mean accuracy of 97.50%, sensitivity of 95.83%, and precision of 100%. Conclusion: Support vector machine (SVM) algorithm performed significantly better than Naive Bayes (NB) algorithm with improved accuracy of 97.50% for Innovative breast cancer prediction.

Abstract (sommario):
A Gram-stain-negative, yellow-pigmented bacterial strain, designated PR1012KT, was isolated from a motor car evaporator core collected in Korea. Cells of the strain were facultatively anaerobic, non-spore-forming and rod-shaped. The strain grew at 10–40 °C (optimum, 25 °C), at pH 6.5–8.0 (optimum, pH 7.0–8.0) and in the presence of 0–1 % (w/v) NaCl. Phylogenetically, the strain was closely related to members of the genus Spirosoma (97.50–90.74 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities) and showed highest sequence similarity to Spirosoma panaciterrae DSM 21099T (97.50 %). Its predominant fatty acids included summed feature 3 (C16 : 1ω7c and/or C16 : 1ω6c), C16 : 1ω5c, iso-C15 : 0 and summed feature 4 (iso-C17 : 1 I and/or anteiso B) and it had MK-7 as the major menaquinone. The polar lipids present included phosphatidylethanolamine, one unknown aminophospholipid, two unknown aminolipids and five unknown polar lipids. The DNA G+C content of this strain was 54 mol%. Based on phenotypic, genotypic and chemotaxonomic data, strain PR1012KT represents a novel species in the genus Spirosoma, for which the name Spirosoma aerolatum sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is PR1012KT ( = KACC 17939T = NBRC 110794T).

Penelitian ini bertujuan Menghasilkan suatu komik materi sistem pencernaanuntuk siswa kelas V SD dan Mengetahui kelayakan komik materi sistem pencernaan untuk siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) atau penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Borg and Gall (2003). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket dan tes tertulis. Kelayakan komik sebagai media pembelajaran IPA diperoleh dari hasil validasi, uji coba produk dan tes tertulis. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli desain, ahli bahasa, ahli materi, dan praktisi. Uji coba produk yang dilakukan terbatas yaitu hanya 10 orang siswa. Tes tertulis yang digunakan berupa soal objektif untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap komik IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media komik mendapat skor persentase pada aspek materi sebesar 91.07%, aspek desain komik sebesar 97.50%, aspek kesederhanaan sebesar 97.50%, aspek keterpaduan sebesar 96.88%, aspek penekanan sebesar 93.75%, dan aspek keseimbangan sebesar 100%. Sehingga rata-rata hasil validasi dari semua para ahli adalah sebesar 95.90% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid. Uji coba produk untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap komik memperoleh secara keseluruhan mendapat skor persentase sebesar 98,61%. Hasil penelitian tersebut dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”

Aim: The objective of this study is to use machine learning algorithms to detect the presence of breast cancer tumors and compare accuracy, sensitivity, and precision between the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Support vector machine algorithm (SVM). Materials and Methods: The research uses two sets of data from the Wisconsin Breast Cancer dataset, which is obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. Linear Discriminant Analysis (N=20) and Support vector machine (N=20) with sample size in accordance to total sample size calculated using clincalc.com by keeping alpha error-threshold at 0.05, confidence interval at 95%, enrollment ratio as 0:1, and power at 80%. The accuracy, sensitivity, and precision are calculated using MATLAB software. Results: Comparison of accuracy (%), sensitivity (%), and precision (%) are done using SPSS software using independent sample t-test. Linear Discriminant Analysis algorithm results in an accuracy of 88.25% (p<0.001), the sensitivity of 94.68% (p<0.001), and precision of 84.35% (p<0.001). Support vector machine algorithm results in an accuracy of 97.50%, sensitivity of 95.83%, and precision of 100%. Conclusion: Support vector machine algorithm performed significantly better than Linear Discriminant Analysis algorithm with improved accuracy of 97.50% for breast cancer prediction.

Aim: The major goal of this research is to improve the accuracy of the Decision Tree (DT) and Support vector machine (SVM) algorithms and compare their efficiency in detecting breast cancer tumors. Materials and Methods: This work depends on the data obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository and used to acquire the data sets for the research of Innovative breast cancer prediction using machine learning algorithms. The sample size of breast cancer prediction involves two groups: Decision tree (N=20) and Support vector machine (N=20) according to clincalc.com by keeping 0.05 alpha error-threshold, 95% confidence interval, enrollment ratio as 0:1, and 80% G power. The accuracy, sensitivity, and precision are calculated using MATLAB software. Result: The accuracy of the DT is 83.83% (p<0.001) while the accuracy rate of the Support vector machine is 97.50%. The Decision tree outcomes have a sensitivity and precision rate of 87.46% (p<0.001) and 84.13% (p<0.001) respectively, whereas the Support vector machine sensitivity and the precision rate are 95.83% and 100% respectively. Conclusion: Support vector machine algorithm performed significantly better with improved accuracy of 97.50% for breast cancer prediction.

This paper focuses on utilizing ML techniques (Support Vector Machine, XGBoost, and Artificial Neural Networks) to progress cloud computing security in the industry. The selection of 11 important features for the ML study satisfies the study’s objectives. This study identifies gaps in utilizing ML techniques in cloud cyber security. Moreover, this study aims at developing a practical strategy for predicting the employment of machine learning in an Industrial Cloud environment regarding trust and privacy issues. The efficiency of the employed models is assessed by applying validation matrices of precision, accuracy, and recall values, as well as F1 scores, R.O.C. curves, and confusion matrices. The results demonstrated that the X.G.B. model outperformed, in terms of all the matrices, with an accuracy of 97.50%, a precision of 97.60%, a recall value of 97.60%, and an F1 score of 97.50%. This research highlights the potential of ML algorithms in enhancing cloud computing security for industries. It emphasizes the need for continued research and development to create more advanced and efficient security solutions for cloud computing.

Abstrak. Masyarakat suku Gayo sebagian besar memiliki pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan tumbuhan hutan yang dapat dikonsumsi baik untuk bahan pangan maupun sebagai obat-obatan. Atas dasar ini penting diteliti agar dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat maupun pemerintah bahwa terdapat jenis-jenis tumbuhan hutan yang dapat dikonsumsi untuk bahan pangan non pokok yang hidup secara liar dan dikonsumsi oleh suku Gayo yang berdomisili di Terangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 34 jenis tumbuhan liar yang terdiri dari 22 suku tumbuhan masih dimanfaatkan oleh suku Gayo di Terangun sebagai bahan pangan non pokok. Jenis tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu ranti (rukut) dengan penggunaan sebesar 97,50% sehingga dikategori sangat tinggi. Bagian atau organ tumbuhan hutan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pangan yaitu buah, batang, daun, tunas dan bunga. Organ tumbuhan yang paling sering digunakan yaitu buah sebanyak 47%. Meskipun penggunaan organ buah paling tinggi dari organ lainnya namun penggunaan organ ini masih masuk ke dalam katergori rendah. Tumbuhan hutan tersebut dimanfaatkan dengan cara dimasak, dikupas lalu dimakan, dimakan secara langsung dan dikeringkan kemudian dimakan. Cara pengolahan tumbuhan yang paling sering dilakukan adalah dengan cara dimasak dan pengolahan dengan cara ini dilakukan sebesar 45% dari penggunaan lainnya. Penggunaan dengan cara dimasak juga masih termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah.Abstract. Most of the Gayo people have an understanding of the use of forest plants that can be consumed both for food and as medicine. On this basis, it is important to research in order to provide information to the public and the government that there are forest plant species that can be consumed for non-staple foods that live wild and are consumed by the Gayo tribe who live in Terangun. This research uses interview and observation method. The results of the study indicate that there are 34 types of wild plants consisting of 22 plant tribes that are still used by the Gayo tribe in Terangun as non-staple food. The most widely used plant species is black nightshade with a usage of 97.50% so that it is categorized as very high. Parts or organs of forest plants that can be used as food are fruits, stems, leaves, shoots and flowers. The most frequently used plant organ is fruit as much as 47%. Although the use of fruit organs is higher than other organs, the use of these organs is still in the low category. The forest plants are used by cooking, peeling and then eating, eaten directly and dried and then eaten. The method of processing plants that is most often done is by cooking and processing in this way is carried out for 45% of other uses. The use by cooking is also still included in the low category.

The present paper draws attention to a book written with Pólya's collaboration, which has not yet received sufficient emphasis in the problem-posing literature. This study aimed to determine the effect of seed priming (on-farm, hydro, halo, osmo, vitamin c priming, and hardening) on the germination and seedling growth of spring rice varieties: hardinath-3, hardinath-1, and chaite-5 at ambient room temperature. A factorial completely randomized design (CRD) was carried out with two factors: methods of priming and varieties at agriculture knowledge center (AKC), kapilbastu during march 2020. There were, in total, 21 treatment combinations and four replications. Parameters observed were germination percentage, speed of germination, vigor index, root length, shoot length, fresh weight, and dry weight of rice seedlings. Hardinath-3 had superior performance in terms of germination percentage (95.35 %), vigor index (183.86), root length (11.51 cm) and shoot length (7.39 cm) compared to hardinath-1 and chaite-5; the speed of germination, however, was greater in hardinath-1. Seed hardening - alternate soaking (tap water for 24 hours) and drying - induced higher germination percentage (94.91 %), speed of germination (96.00), and vigor index (197.43) than did other priming methods; germination percentage of vitamin c primed seeds (94.75 %), nevertheless, were at statistical par with hardened seeds. Hardened hardinath-3 seeds were better in regards to germination percentage (97.50 %) and root length (12.92 cm), while the speed of germination (97.50) and vigor index (210.50) was greater in hardened hardinath-1. Vitamin c primed seeds of hardinath-3 and hardinath-1 were finer with dry weight, shoot length, and vigor index. In conclusion, farmers' are suggested to hardened seeds of hardinath-3 before sowing to promote uniform germination and growth.

Thirty-one samples of 5 tree rings from a single oak trunk with 300 tree rings were measured with improved precision to study natural 14C variations in the period from ca 9750 – 10,050 cal bp. Negative correlation was found between Δ 14C values and tree-ring indices. The pattern of 14C changes in the studied interval closely resembles the changes observed in several periodically spanned intervals within the limits of high-precision calibration data sets.

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah pengaplikasian pompa air otomatis di pasar Sudimampir sebagai bentuk dukungan pencegahan penyebaran virus covid-19 di daerah Banjarmasin serta mengedukasi masyarakat/ pengunjung pasar mengenai tata cara cuci tangan yang benar melalui papan informasi yang dipasang pada tempat yang ditentukan. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dinas perhubungan wilayah pasar lima (sudimampir) dikarenakan tempat pengaplikasian pompa tersebut ada di depan dermaga/ pelabuhan yang termasuk tempat dengan aktivitas yang cukup tinggi di wilayah tersebut. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi: 1) observasi awal, 2) pengaplikasian kegiatan, 3) evaluasi, dan 4) refleksi. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen angket respon mitra dan pengunjung pasar terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa: 1) terpasangnya pompa air otomatis dan papan informasi tata cara mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar di daerah pasar serta 2) respon mitra dan pengunjung pasar terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan 88,88% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,56 dari skor maksimal rata-rata 4. Indikator respon ini dilihat dari: 1) 86,67% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dalam keahlian dan kesiapan dari tim dalam kegiatan, 2) 92,50% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dari segi kegunaan dari alat yang diaplikasikan, 3) 97,50% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dalam kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, dan 4) 78,75% termasuk dalam kategori baik dalam hal kesesuaian kegiatan dengan harapan masyarakat (mitra dan pengunjung). This activity aims to apply an automatic water pump in the Sudimampir market to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the Banjarmasin and educate the public/market visitors about washing hand procedures through information on a board installed someplace. The partner of this service activity is the Department of Transportation of the Pasar Lima area (Sudimampir) because the pump application location is in front of the pier/port, a place with quite high activity in the area. The activity methods used include 1) initial observation, 2) application of activities, 3) evaluation, and 4) reflection. The evaluation is used quantitatively using a questionnaire instrument of the responses of partners and market visitors to the activities carried out. The results of this service include 1) the installation of an automatic water pump and an information board for proper and correct handwashing procedures in the market area and 2) the response of partners and market visitors to the activities carried out by 88.88% including in the very good category with a score an average of 3.56 from the average maximum score 4. This response indicator is seen from: 1) 86.67% is included in the very good category that showed the expertise and readiness of the team in activities, 2) 92.50% is included in the category very good that showed terms of the usefulness of the tools applied, 3) 97.50% is included in the very good category that showed accordance with community needs, and 4) 78.75% is in the good category that showed terms of the suitability of activities with community expectations (partners and visitors).

AbstractPaleoenvironmental data, including pollen and sediment analyses, radiocarbon ages, and tephra identifications of a core recovered from a fen, provide a ca. 16,500 14C yr B.P. record of late Quaternary vegetation and climate change in the Long Valley area of west-central Idaho. The fen was deglaciated prior to ca. 16,500 14C yr B.P., after which the pollen rain was dominated by Artemisia, suggesting that a cold, dry climate prevailed until ca. 12,200 14C yr B.P. From ca. 12,200 to 9750 14C yr B.P. temperatures gradually increased and a cool, moist climate similar to the present prevailed. During this period a closed spruce–pine forest surrounded the fen. This cool, moist climate was briefly interrupted by a dry and/or cold interval between ca. 10,800 and 10,400 14C yr B.P. that may be related to the Younger Dryas climatic oscillation. From ca. 9750 to 3200 14C yr B.P. the regional climate was significantly warmer and drier than at present and an open pine forest dominated the area around the fen. Maximum aridity occurred after the deposition of the Mazama tephra (ca. 6730 14C yr B.P.). After 3200 14C yr B.P. regional cooling brought cool, moist conditions to the area; the establishment of the modern montane forest around the fen and present-day cool and moist climate began at ca. 2000 14C yr B.P.

The present work describes a neural particle classifier system based on topological mapping of the segmented information provided by a high-energy calorimeter, a detector that measures the energy of incoming particles. The achieved classification efficiencies are above 97.50% for the higher energy particle beams, even when experimental data exhibit unavoidable contamination due to the particle beam generation process, what could jeopardize the classifier performance. Some deterioration in the performance for the lower energy range is also discussed. The reduction on the dimensionality of the data input space caused by the topological mapping may be very helpful when online implementation of the classifier is required.

Hasil analisis menunjukan dimana, perkembangan kredit investasi bank umum, belanja langsung dan belanja tidak langsung Provinsi Jambi periode 2008-2018 mengalami peningkatan yang berfluktuasi dengan rata-rata sebesar 20,80%, 10,63%, dan 27,31%. We present diffraction-limited speckle-masking observations of the central object HD 97950 in the giant HII region and star cluster NGC 3603. Twenty-eight stellar components have been detected in the 6.″3 x 6.″3 field from our reconstructed images. Four different filter combinations were used for the selection of distinct spectral regions comprising Hα emission, the main Wolf-Rayet and Of-type emission lines, and two continuum bands. Stellar components having WN-type characteristics have been found. A color-magnitude diagram has been constructed. Isochrone fits yield a cluster age of about 3.2 Myr, which is in accordance with the time-scale of Wolf-Rayet star evolution.

This paper describes the results of recognizing handwritten signatures. For the experiments, the database of handwritten signatures BHSig260-Bengali, BHSig260-Hindi, CEDAR and TUIT was used. For classification, four options were used to reduce the signatures to sizes: 200×120, 250×150, 300×150 and 400×200 pixels. These images served as input for the proposed network architecture. As a result of testing the proposed approach, the average accuracy of correct classification of signatures on images of size 250×150 was achieved: for the CEDAR database it was 94.38%, for the BHSig260-Hindi database it was 95.63%, for the BHSig260-Bengali database it was 97.50% and for TUIT base is 90.04%.

Development of Funnel Counting media is very necessary because there is no learning media that can help students learn about number operations. This condition has an impact on students' numeracy skills which are still low. To overcome this problem there needs to be an appropriate solution. One of them is by developing media that attract students in the form of a Calculating Funnel media. This study aims to determine the steps for developing and the feasibility of media Counting Funnels. This research is research and development (R & D) with the development model of 4D (Four-D), namely Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. The subject of this study was the first grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bleber with a total of 18 students. The instruments of data collection are questionnaires, interview guides, tests, and documents. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of validation research media experts get a value of 93.75 (Very Good), validation of material experts get 85.41 (Very Good), validation of learning experts get 85.41 (Very Good), the results of expert validation get comments and suggestions as a reference for doing product revision. The results of a small group trial with 8 students scored 87.50 (very good). The teacher's assessment received a score of 94.11 (very good). Student responses got a value of 95.83 (very good). While the usage trial with 18 students got a value of 86.50 (very good). The teacher's response to the use trial received a score of 97.50 (very good). students' responses get a score of 97.50 (very good). Overall, from the Funnel Counting media validation test, it is feasible to use it in grade 1 elementary mathematics learning.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan media interaktif; menguji kelayakan dan; mengetahui keefektifan media interaktif untuk menyimak dongeng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model Waterfall yang tahapannya terdiri atas: analysis, design, implementation, testing, dan maintenance.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis data awal, analisis data produk, dan analisis data akhir. Hasil uji kelayakan media interaktif berbasis android yaitu dari ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 87,50% dan penilaian ahli media mendapatkan persentase 97,50% Angket tanggapan siswa dan guru yang menyatakan bahwa media interaktif berbasis android berada pada kriteria sangat efektif. Untuk hasil uji keefektifan atau uji coba terbatas diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata keterampilan melisankan menyimak dongeng siswa sebelum (pretest) adalah 51,11 dan sesudah (postest) adalah 81,11. Media interaktif berbasis android untuk menyimak dongeng menggunakan model Group Investigation terbukti efektif dengan t hitung sebesar 9,784 lebih besar dari t tabel yang hanya 2,052 dan Hasil perhitungan N-gain sebesar 0,63, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif berbasis android efektif meningkatkan keterampilan siswa menyimak dongeng. Saran penelitian ini adalah guru hendaknya dapat memahami sistem media dan dapat mengembangkan media interaktif yang lebih bervariasi dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman agar siswa mudah memahami materi dan meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa. The results of the feasibility test of interactive media based on android, namely from the material experts get a percentage of 87.50% and the assessment of media experts get a percentage of 97.50% Questionnaire responses of students and teachers stating that the android-based interactive media is in the criteria very effective. For the effectiveness test results or limited trials obtained from the average value of the skills of listening to students' fairy tales before (pretest) is 51.11 and after (postest) is 81.11. Android-based interactive media to listen to fairy tales using the Group Investigation model proved effective with a t count of 9.784 greater than t table which is only 2.052 and N-gain calculation results of 0.63, so it can be concluded that an android-based interactive media is effective in increasing students' listening skills fairy tale. The suggestion of this research is that teachers should be able to understand the media system and be able to develop interactive media that are more varied and keep up with the times so that students easily understand the material and improve language skills.

In this study, we propose a method for inspecting the condition of hull surfaces using underwater images acquired from the camera of a remotely controlled underwater vehicle (ROUV). To this end, a soft voting ensemble classifier comprising six well-known convolutional neural network models was used. Using the transfer learning technique, the images of the hull surfaces were used to retrain the six models. The proposed method exhibited an accuracy of 98.13%, a precision of 98.73%, a recall of 97.50%, and an F1-score of 98.11% for the classification of the test set. Furthermore, the time taken for the classification of one image was verified to be approximately 56.25 ms, which is applicable to ROUVs that require real-time inspection.

Three-dimensional representation of facial bone surface is needed in the virtual surgical planning for orthognathic surgery. Segmentation of facial bone surface from computed tomography images is first step in developing the 3D model. This paper focuses on segmentation of mandible bone using active contour segmentation of Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit library. The results are given as 3D stereo lithographic image. The result is compared with the ground truth image segmented by an expert radiologist. Various evaluation metrics are used for finding the segmentation accuracy and the result has given segmentation accuracy of 97.50%. Therefore, this method can be used as an initial step in automatic cephalometric land marking, an important task in virtual surgical planning for orthognathic surgery.

The purpose of this article is to weigh up the foremost imperative features of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). This study is based mostly on three cluster techniques like; K means, Fuzzy c-means and hierarchical clustering. The authors used evolutionary techniques like genetic algorithms (GA) to extend the performance of the clustering model. The performance of these three clusters: live parameter purity, entropy, and Adjusted Rand Index (ARI) have been contemplated. The best purity is obtained by the K-means clustering technique, 96.50%; whereas, Fuzzy C-means clustering received 93.50% and hierarchical clustering was the lowest at 92. 25%. After using evolutionary technique Genetic Algorithm as Feature selection technique, the best purity is obtained by hierarchical clustering, 97.50%, compared to K –means clustering, 96.75%, and Fuzzy C-means clustering at 94.00%.

For this reason, our goal was that our undergraduate students gain experience as Scrum development team members and our master's students as agile leaders. To this end, we had redesigned and linked an undergraduate and a master's course, and launched the new course in the spring of 2021. The success of our approach was confirmed by a questionnaire survey of 86 undergraduate and 27 master's students. A/B testing was also performed. Our approach is a novelty compared to solutions where the Scrum Master is a course member, an instructor, or a university employee. AbstractWe use photometry in the F220W, F250W, F330W, F435W filters from the High Resolution Channel of the Advanced Camera for Surveys and photometry in the F555W, F675W, and F814W filters from the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 aboard the Hubble Space Telescope to derive individual stellar reddenings and extinctions for member stars in the HD 97950 cluster in the giant H ii region NGC 3603. Within the standard deviation associated with E(λ−F555W)/E(F435W−F555W) in each filter, the cluster extinction curve at ultraviolet wavelengths tends to be greyer than the average Galactic extinction laws from Cardelli et al. (1989) and Fitzpatrick et al. (1999). It is closer to the extinction law derived by Calzetti et al. (2000) for starburst galaxies, where the 0.2175 μm bump is absent.

Investigations were carried out at Vasantdada Sugar Research Institute (VSI), Manjari, Pune to assess the performance of elite sugarcane genotypes under agro-climatic condition of peninsular zone during 2022. Eight sugarcane genotypes along with three local checks were evaluated for their growth and yield attributes, cane yield and quality performance. The behavior of the genotypes with regard to cane yield, yield components and quality remained variable during the study. The data indicated that the application of 25% of extra fertilizer dose over RDF showed numerically higher cane and CCS yield (121.33 and 18.69 t/ha). Genotype Co 16006 recorded maximum germination (66.39%), tiller population (97.50 thousand/ha) and Cane and CCS yield (140.07 and 22.65 t/ha) compared to the rest of the genotype. Superior juice quality was observed in CoVSI 16121.

One pitfall in 24-hour urine collection is the input of incorrect urinary volume by the reference laboratory. This may lead to an incorrect diagnosis of pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma. A 48-year-old African-American woman was seen in the clinic for an elevated 24-hour urine metanephrine screen during workup for secondary hypertension. Urine volume was found to be incorrectly inputted by the lab as 9750 mL rather than 975 mL. The urinary metanephrines were then recalculated and the 24-hour urinary metanephrines resulted within normal limits. This case highlights this unique and potentially under-recognised error in testing with 24-hour urine volume collection.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association of electronic nicotine product (ENP) use and its respiratory manifestations in a nationally representative sample of adolescents in the US. Cross-sectional evidence from 9750 adolescents in wave 3 (October 2015–October 2016) of the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) survey was used. Adjusting for demographics, lifetime number of cigarettes and cigars used, home rules about tobacco use, and tobacco used by other household members, we used logistic regression models to examine associations between ENP use and its respiratory manifestations in the past year. Among 9750 adolescents, 12% (n = 1105) used ENP in the past year. Compared to non-users, past-year ENP-users had 37% higher odds of wheezing in general (Adjusted Odds Ratio (AOR) = 1.37, 95% Confidence interval (CI): 1.11–1.71, p = 0.005) and higher odds of wheezing 4–12 times or >12 times per year versus no wheezing (AOR = 1.57, 95% CI: 1.01–2.46, p = 0.05 and AOR = 2.58, 95% CI: 1.04–6.41, p = 0.04, respectively). Additionally, odds of dry cough at night were 23% higher among ENP-users than among non-users (AOR = 1.23, 95% CI: 1.04–1.46, p = 0.02). There was no association between past-year ENP use and exercise-induced wheezing or asthma diagnosis. Among those with asthma, there was no evidence of an association between ENP use and long-acting inhaler or quick-relief inhaler use. ENP use among adolescents is associated with increased frequency of wheezing and dry cough. Early recognition of pulmonary clinical manifestations among young ENP users should be critical considerations in regulatory and prevention efforts to protect public health, and clinical efforts to prevent progression to serious pulmonary complications.

Breast cancer originates from the ducts or lobules of the breast and is the second leading cause of death after cervical cancer. Therefore, early breast cancer screening is required, one of which is mammography. Mammography images can be automatically identified using Computer-Aided Diagnosis by leveraging machine learning classifications. This study analyzes the Support Vector Machine (SVM) in classifying breast cancer. It compares the performance of three features extraction methods used in SVM, namely Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG), GLCM, and shape feature extraction. The dataset consists of 320 mammogram image data from MIAS containing 203 normal images and 117 abnormal images. Each extraction method used three kernels, namely Linear, Gaussian, and Polynomial. The shape feature extraction-SVM using Linear kernel shows the best performance with an accuracy of 98.44 %, sensitivity of 100 %, and specificity of 97.50 %.

Abstract (sommario):
The study was conducted using two ELISA methods - the liquid phase blocking ELISA (LPBE) and solid phase competition ELISA (SPCE) for the detection of foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) serotype A- and O-specific antibodies of different cattle breeds in Turkey. These methods were compared in 426 cattle previously vaccinated with oil-adjuvanted bivalent vaccine as well as in sera from 40 cattle with no history of foot-and-mouth disease infection or vaccination. The results were found that SPCE had a better specificity (serotype A; 100% and serotype O; 97.50%) than LPBE (serotype A 95.00% and serotype O 92.50%). Sensitivity of SPCE had also better values (serotype A; 99.30% and serotype O; 98.59%) than LPBE (serotype A; 97.89% and serotype O; 96.48%). The results of the present study showed that the SPCE method is more reliable than LPBE.
