Sexual violence is a crime against humanity, violations of human rights and gender-based violence. Meanwhile since the 1998-2013 National Commission on Violence Against Women has been monitoring and documentating 15 (fifteen) forms of sexual violences. National Commission on Violence Against Women was classifying all forms of sexual violence from 15 forms into 6 sexual violences based on common elements in criminal offense. So far the handling cases of sexual violence faced barrier to prevention, protection, recovery of victims, rehabilitation of offenders, and the criminal justice procedure of law. State should be responsible quickly to enact Law on Elimination of Sexual Violence, as part of country’s efforts in implementing the principles of due diligence.

Résumé :
Violence against women is any form of discrimination, aggression or coercion, caused by the simple fact that the victim is a woman and causes physical, psychological, sexual, or moral damage, whether in the public or private sphere. It is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations between genders, which were gradually built and which continue today, showing the importance of knowledge of the actions of the Unified Health System (SUS) that coordinate and guide the conduct of health professionals, especially from the doctor. The present study aims to investigate medical conduct in the care of women victims of violence, SUS actions, and programs, specifically carried out at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Pará Foundation. This is a quantitative study and the instrument used was a questionnaire, prepared by the authors. Thirty-three physicians answered the questionnaire, where 97% have already assisted women in situations of violence, 97% know the protocols for the care of women victims of violence, and 67% judge public health actions to support these victims as ineffective. The data allow us to conclude that SUS actions have the potential to have a direct impact in the context of violence against women, if the necessary support is provided to make complaints, in addition to long-term protection and prevention protocols.

Résumé :
Violence against children is a dynamic, changing social phenomenon. Every society, regardless of the level of development of democracy, economic and political development, regardless of the level of protection of human rights, encounters violence against children on a daily basis. The first professional interests in violence against children were made between the two world wars, but the first active measures to oppose it appeared in the mid-sixties of the twentieth century, in the most developed countries. In the 21st century, the countries of the "third world" remain in a civilizational, cultural, value cocoon. No matter how impossible and imaginary it may seem, in some countries, violence against children is still denied as a social phenomenon and a deviation. The negation of violence does not stem from the circumstance that the child is not physically and mentally punished, but that this "punishment" is justified for the purpose of good upbringing, tradition and similar found excuses. For many years, this attitude has been held in many post-communist states, states that have been isolated for decades, either because of politics or because of religion. However, with the globalization of society, the inevitable opening of borders, but also under great assets whose affirmation of ordinary organizations, primarily at the global and then at the state level, the topic of "violence against children" slowly gained its epilogue. Today, in 2021, violence against children is an open topic in most communities. There are no more taboos. And no turning heads from violence. Of course, there are exceptions, but the world is full of rules with some exceptions. The paper deals with two aspects: global and national, specifically the Republic of Serbia. The paper deals with the definition of the concept of the child, types of violence, legal acts regulating the rights of the child, applied measures, but also proposals for measures and moves to take exceptions (those who deny the existence of violence against children, those who it doesn't matter…) be if not zeroed, and at least minimized.

Résumé :
Despite ongoing research spanning many years, the police investigation of different forms of violence against women remains problematic. The most recent reviews exploring sexual and domestic violence suggest that vulnerable victims are not identified effectively and that this subsequently impacts on the investigation, level of attrition and provision of correct support for victims. The authors suggest that some of the current methods, aimed at improving these issues, can further compound problems within a police culture that often remains focused on narrow quantifiable performance targets. Violence against women involves a range of very complex issues and for most victims there are a number of vulnerabilities involved. Considering these factors are often related to public health concerns, the authors argue for a more consistent and joined-up approach to supporting victims through the criminal justice system. In the short term, this is necessary for keeping victims on board with the process and in the longer term, it is essential when dealing effectively with the broader issues impacting on their victimization. It is crucial given the current fiscal climate that these issues are dealt with universally, with a focus on sustainable outcomes. It is argued that integrating criminal justice and public health strategies will provide for more embedded and effective outcomes for victims.
