Résumé :
Quantitative and qualitative running gait analysis allows the early identification and the longitudinal monitoring of gait abnormalities linked to running-related injuries. A promising calibration- and marker-less video sensor-based technology (i.e., Graal), recently validated for walking gait, may also offer a time- and cost-efficient alternative to the gold-standard methods for running. This study aim was to ascertain the validity of an improved version of Graal for quantitative and qualitative analysis of running. In 33 healthy recreational runners (mean age 41 years), treadmill running at self-selected submaximal speed was simultaneously evaluated by a validated photosensor system (i.e., Optogait—the reference methodology) and by the video analysis of a posterior 30-fps video of the runner through the optimized version of Graal. Graal is video analysis software that provides a spectral analysis of the brightness over time for each pixel of the video, in order to identify its frequency contents. The two main frequencies of variation of the pixel’s brightness (i.e., F1 and F2) correspond to the two most important frequencies of gait (i.e., stride frequency and cadence). The Optogait system recorded step length, cadence, and its variability (vCAD, a traditional index of gait quality). Graal provided a direct measurement of F2 (reflecting cadence), an indirect measure of step length, and two indexes of global gait quality (harmony and synchrony index). The correspondence between quantitative indexes (Cadence vs. F2 and step length vs. Graal step length) was tested via paired t-test, correlations, and Bland–Altman plots. The relationship between qualitative indexes (vCAD vs. Harmony and Synchrony Index) was investigated by correlation analysis. Cadence and step length were, respectively, not significantly different from and highly correlated with F2 (1.41 Hz ± 0.09 Hz vs. 1.42 Hz ± 0.08 Hz, p = 0.25, r2 = 0.81) and Graal step length (104.70 cm ± 013.27 cm vs. 107.56 cm ± 13.67 cm, p = 0.55, r2 = 0.98). Bland–Altman tests confirmed a non-significant bias and small imprecision between methods for both parameters. The vCAD was 1.84% ± 0.66%, and it was significantly correlated with neither the Harmony nor the Synchrony Index (0.21 ± 0.03, p = 0.92, r2 = 0.00038; 0.21 ± 0.96, p = 0.87, r2 = 0.00122). These findings confirm the validity of the optimized version of Graal for the measurement of quantitative indexes of gait. Hence, Graal constitutes an extremely time- and cost-efficient tool suitable for quantitative analysis of running. However, its validity for qualitative running gait analysis remains inconclusive and will require further evaluation in a wider range of absolute and relative running intensities in different individuals.

Résumé :
With the rapid development of mobile technology, the mobile phones has gradually become an indispensable part in everybody’s life, and it is replacing the computer’s position step by step. The iPhone is a smart phone made of Apple Company, which opens a new era of software for mobile devices. At the same time, iOS(iPhone’s operating system) has become one of most competitive mobile communications operating systems. The Apple’s protection for security makes the iPhone owners hardly control their phone through the root (highest authority). It is so difficult to manage the information effetely with iPhone, such as contacts’ information or SMS. The paper introduced two approaches to get the contacts’ information in iPhone and restore them with vCard. At last, we managed the output file on MAC.

Résumé :
The purpose of this article is to explore the teaching processes that use Quick Response (QR) codes and mobile devices to support blended learning at the National Institute of Telecommunications and ICT (INTTIC). The satisfactory results of our previous research show that the use of mobile technology could enhance accessibility and communication in a blended learning course. In Algeria, the mobile penetration rate stands at over 111% and 21% with 3G. Since most of our students have access to mobile technology, three in five were smartphones. Using this technology would encourage students to use their phones to send questions to their teachers, listen to a podcast and snip the quick response (QR) codes. This paper introduces the implementations of QR codes, vcard and QR voice as a new tool in the Moodle platform in our institute. The QR code contains the URL of the page of one particular Moodle course and quiz are added to the bottom of Moodle. The students' satisfaction had been acknowledged as an important factor in order to estimate the effectiveness of a blended learning course.

Résumé :
The next generation sequencing (NGS) is an important process which assures inexpensive organization of vast size of raw sequence dataset over any traditional sequencing systems or methods. Various aspects of NGS such as template preparation, sequencing imaging and genome alignment and assembly outline the genome sequencing and alignment. Consequently, de Bruijn graph (dBG) is an important mathematical tool that graphically analyzes how the orientations are constructed in groups of nucleotides. Basically, dBG describes the formation of the genome segments in circular iterative fashions. Some pivotal dBG-based de novo algorithms and software packages such as T-IDBA, Oases, IDBA-tran, Euler, Velvet, ABySS, AllPaths, SOAPde novo and SOAPde novo2 are illustrated in this paper. Consequently, overlap layout consensus (OLC) graph-based algorithms also play vital role in NGS assembly. Some important OLC-based algorithms such as MIRA3, CABOG, Newbler, Edena, Mosaik and SHORTY are portrayed in this paper. It has been experimented that greedy graph-based algorithms and software packages are also vital for proper genome dataset assembly. A few algorithms named SSAKE, SHARCGS and VCAKE help to perform proper genome sequencing.

Résumé :
Contributing to Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030 is a shared objective of all institutions and people. The challenges differ according to the characteristics of every context. In developing countries, strongly dependent on the agricultural sector, agricultural supply chains are recognized as crucial for economic growth and enablers for livelihood improvement. Moreover, sustainable development issues are correlated and can meet in agricultural supply chains. For several decades, parallel to decision-makers, the research community has elaborated sustainability assessment tools. Such tools evolved to fit with actuality, but it is challenging to find decision-making support tools for sustainable development adequate in agricultural supply chains and developing countries contexts. There is a necessity to define evidence-based tools and exhaustive analytical frameworks according to sustainability multidimensionality and strategical tradeoffs necessity. The VCA4D method aims to go beyond the limits of previous methods. It proposes a combination of multidisciplinary analytical tools applied empirically to analyze agricultural supply chains in their context. It provides evidence-based analytical results allowing to identify enablers for strategic sustainable and inclusive interventions. However, to even better meet contextual exhaustiveness’s expectations and indicators’ robustness to lead to relevant interventions, we should insist on a stricter framing of contextual data collection processes.

Résumé :
Abstract In this article, a novel approach to computer optimization of CNC toolpaths by adjustment of cutting speed vcand depth of cut apis presented. Available software works by the principle of adjusting feed rate on the basis of calculations and numerical simulation of the machining process. The authors wish to expand upon this approach by proposing toolpath optimization by altering two other basic process parameters. Intricacies and problems related totheadjustment of apand vcwere explained in the introductory part. Simulation of different variant of the same turning process with different parameter values were conducted to evaluate the effect of changes in depth of cut and cutting speed on process performance. Obtained results were investigated on the account of cutting force and tool life. The authors have found that depth of cut substantially affects cutting force, while the effect of cutting speed on it is minimal. An increase in both depth of cut and cutting speed affects tool life negatively, although the impact of cutting speed is much more severe. An increase in depth of cut allows for a more significant reduction of machining time, while affecting tool life less negatively. On the other hand, the adjustment of cutting speed helpsto reduce machining time without increasing cutting force component values and spindle load.

In addition, we analysed fluid dynamics with therapeutic devices like coils and stents to simulate their influences to blood flow. 3D CTA and MRA obtained three-dimensional structures of the brain vessels. The centreline was obtained from the three dimensional structure. Diameter of the blood vessels was measured by 3D CTA/MRA then smooth surfaced blood vessel models were created. For the fluid analysis, we developed a home brew software which can display parameters such as streamline, etc. In addition, our CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software can work in collaboration with a CAD (computer aided design) software which we also developed (VCAD: Volume CAD). So, therapeutic devices such as coils, balloons and stents could be placed in the models and CFD analysis could be performed placing devices in the models. The flow pattern in the complicated vascular structure could be calculated such as Willis ring which has multiple inputs like ICA, VA and multiple outlets like MCA and PCA with communicating arteries. CFD with therapeutic devices could also analysed with our system.

Résumé :
A haptic sensor coupled to a gamepad or headset is frequently used to enhance the sense of immersion for game players. However, providing haptic feedback for appropriate sound effects involves specialized audio engineering techniques to identify target sounds that vary according to the game. We propose a deep learning-based method for sound event detection (SED) to determine the optimal timing of haptic feedback in extremely noisy environments. To accomplish this, we introduce the BattleSound dataset, which contains a large volume of game sound recordings of game effects and other distracting sounds, including voice chats from a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) game. Given the highly noisy and distracting nature of war-game environments, we set the annotation interval to 0.5 s, which is significantly shorter than the existing benchmarks for SED, to increase the likelihood that the annotated label contains sound from a single source. As a baseline, we adopt mobile-sized deep learning models to perform two tasks: weapon sound event detection (WSED) and voice chat activity detection (VCAD). The accuracy of the models trained on BattleSound was greater than 90% for both tasks; thus, BattleSound enables real-time game sound recognition in noisy environments via deep learning. In addition, we demonstrated that performance degraded significantly when the annotation interval was greater than 0.5 s, indicating that the BattleSound with short annotation intervals is advantageous for SED applications that demand real-time inferences.

Résumé :
Background: The aim of our study was to evaluate the degree of genetic homozygosity in the group of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), as well as to evaluate morphogenetic variability in CAD patients regarding the presence of investigated risk factors (RF) compared to a control sample of individuals. Additionally, we aimed to evaluate the distribution of ABO blood type frequencies between tested samples of individuals. Methods: This study analyzed individual phenotype and morphogenetic variability of 17 homozygously-recessive characteristics (HRC), by using HRC test in a sample of 148 individuals in CAD patients group and 156 individuals in the control group. The following RF were analyzed: hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and smoking. Results: The mean value of HRC in CAD patients is significantly higher, while variability decreases compared to the control sample (CAD patients: 4.24 ± 1.59, control sample: 3.75 ± 1.69; VCAD-patients = 37.50%, VC = 45.07%). There is a significant difference in individual variations of 17 HRC between control sample and CAD patients (χ2 = 169.144; p < 0.01), which points out to different variability for tested genes. Mean values of HRC significantly differed in CAD patients in regard to the number of RF present. A blood type (OR = 1.75) is significant predictor for CAD, while O blood type (OR = 0.43) was significantly associated with controls. Conclusion: There is a higher degree of recessive homozygosity in CAD patients versus individuals in the control sample, and the presence of significant variations in the degree of recessive homozygosity as the number of tested RF increases.

Résumé :
ABSTRACTRanaviruses (Iridoviridae) are posing an increasing threat to amphibian populations, with anuran tadpoles being particularly susceptible to these viral infections. Moreover, amphibians are the most basal phylogenetic class of vertebrates known to possess both type I and type III interferon (IFN)-mediated immunity. Moreover, little is known regarding the respective roles of the IFN mediators in amphibian antiviral defenses. Accordingly, we transcriptionally and functionally compared the amphibianXenopus laevistype I (IFN) and III (IFN-λ) IFNs in the context of infections by the ranavirus frog virus 3 (FV3).X. laevisIFN and IFN-λ displayed distinct tissue expression profiles. In contrast to our previous findings thatX. laevistadpoles exhibit delayed and modest type I IFN responses to FV3 infections compared to the responses of adults, here we report that tadpoles mount timely and robust type III IFN gene responses. Recombinant forms of these cytokines (recombinantX. laevisIFN [rXlIFN] and rXlIFN-λ) elicited antiviral gene expression in the kidney-derived A6 cell line as well as in tadpole leukocytes and tissues. However, rXlIFN-λ was less effective than rXlIFN in preventing FV3 replication in A6 cells and tadpoles and inferior at promoting tadpole survival. Intriguingly, FV3 impaired A6 cell and tadpole kidney type III IFN receptor gene expression. Furthermore, in A6 cultures rXlIFN-λ conferred equal or greater protection than rXlIFN against recombinant viruses deficient for the putative immune evasion genes, the viral caspase activation and recruitment domain (vCARD) or a truncated vIF-2α gene. Thus, in contrast to previous assumptions, tadpoles possess intact antiviral defenses reliant on type III IFNs, which are overcome by FV3 pathogens.IMPORTANCEAnuran tadpoles, including those ofXenopus laevis, are particularly susceptible to infection by ranavirus such as FV3. We investigated the respective roles ofX. laevistype I and type III interferons (IFN and IFN-λ, respectively) during FV3 infections. Notably, tadpoles mounted timely and more robust IFN-λ gene expression responses to FV3 than adults, contrasting with the poorer tadpole type I IFN responses. However, a recombinantX. laevisIFN-λ (rXlIFN-λ) conferred less protection to tadpoles and the A6 cell line than rXlIFN, which may be explained by the FV3 impairment of IFN-λ receptor gene expression. The importance of IFN-λ in tadpole anti-FV3 defenses is underlined by the critical involvement of two putative immune evasion genes in FV3 resistance to IFN- and IFN-λ-mediated responses. These findings challenge the view that tadpoles have defective antiviral immunity and suggest, rather, that their antiviral responses are predominated by IFN-λ responses, which are overcome by FV3.

Abstract Background Percutaneous tricuspid valve edge-to-edge repair (pTVR) is a promising interventional technique for patients with tricuspid regurgitation (TR), but guidance regarding patient selection and echocardiographic screening is lacking. The aim of this study was to identify echocardiographic parameters which may predict pTVR success. Methods Before and after pTVR, echocardiographic data, including 3D full-volume datasets, were obtained and quantified. Right ventricular assessments included ejection fraction (RVEF3D) and diastolic (RVVd3D) and systolic (RVVs3D) volumes. Also evaluated were: right atrial (RA) volume, effective regurgitant orifice area by PISA method (EROAPISA), vena contracta area (VCA3D) by multiplanar reconstruction from a 3D colour Doppler loop (Figure 1a), maximal diastolic tricuspid annulus area from a 3D zoom image (Figure 1b), and tricuspid tenting area. TR severity was graded according to EROAPISA and VCA3D as grade 1+ to 5+. Results Patients (n=99, age 79±6 years, 48 male) with at least moderate to severe TR undergoing pTVR were consecutively included. The patients were divided into groups according to their post-pTVR TR grade. Group 1 had TR grade ≤2+, and group 2 had TR grade ≥3+.Echocardiographic parameters before pTVR for both groups are presented in Table 1. As expected, patients with TVR ≥3+ after pTVR had significantly worse pre-intervention echocardiographic measurements of TR severity, valve dimensions, and chamber volumes. ROC curves for the prediction of TR ≤2+ (mild to moderate) after pTVR (defined as VCA3D <0.75 cm2 and EROAPISA <0.4 cm2) were drawn for different echocardiographic features (Figure 2). VCA3D by 3D colour Doppler yielded the highest area under the ROC curve followed by TV anatomy measurements (Annulus area3D, Tenting area) and right atrial volume. Conclusion A thorough evaluation of TR and valve dimensions by 3D echocardiography, particularly the evaluation of VCA3D by 3D colour Doppler, aids in the prediction of the probability of pTVR success. Résumé :
Introduction: Cervical artery dissection (CAD) involves the carotid (CCAD) or vertebral artery (VCAD). However, limited studies have compared their clinical features and outcomes. Our study utilized a comprehensive nationwide database to discern these differences. Method: We examined non-traumatic CAD-diagnosed patients from the U.S. National Inpatient Sample (2005-2019) using ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes. The evaluation included patient demographics, comorbidities, in-hospital complications, treatment, and costs. Differences between CCAD and VCAD were assessed using survey-weighted stepwise backward logistic regression, followed by propensity score matched adjusted regressions for outcomes. Result: From 2005 to 2019, we identified 157,086 CAD admissions, of which 79.9% (125,477) were spontaneous CADs, with CCAD outnumbering VCAD (67,671 vs. 57,806). Compared to VCAD, CCAD was significantly associated with older age (54 [44-66] vs. 49 [37-62]), Black race (12.6% vs. 8.7%), atrial fibrillation (6.1% vs. 3.7%), hypertension (58.0% vs. 53.9%), fewer concurrent acute ischemic strokes (AIS) (22.1% vs. 24.7%), higher NIHSS (mean NIHSS 7 [2-16] vs. 2 [0-5]), extended stays (4 days [2-8] vs. 4 days [2-7]) and increased hospitalization charges ($52,005 [$25,759-$118,806] vs. $43,199 [$24,116-$85,701]); all P<0.05. Within the concurrent AIS group, the CCAD group also exhibited an increased likelihood for IV thrombolysis (10.7% vs. 5.7%) and mechanical thrombectomy (14.9% vs. 3.7%). After propensity score matching for NIHSS and age, the CCAD group was associated with less death (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 0.41, 95% CI 0.26-0.65, P<0.001) but a similar home discharge rate (aOR 1.15, 95% CI 0.78-1.69, P=0.480) (Figure). Conclusion: Our study underscores distinct comorbidity profiles and treatment patterns between CCAD and VCAD groups. These findings advocate for tailored treatment strategies based on dissection type to optimize patient outcomes.

Résumé :
Venous cystic adventitial disease (VCAD) is a rare vascular anomaly located in the common femoral vein in most cases. We describe the case of a 59-year-old female patient with right leg edema who was misdiagnosed with deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremity at another hospital. Magnetic resonance angiography revealed a round mass in the popliteal vein, with a narrow lumen. Considering the location of the lesion, absence of a history of deep venous thrombosis and trauma, and clinical manifestations, the diagnosis is likely a popliteal vein adventitial cyst. Segmental popliteal vein resection and reconstruction were performed using a cylindrical great saphenous vein graft. No joint connection was found during the operation, and the postoperative pathology confirmed VCAD.

ABSTRACT Invent of 3D and 4D ultrasound has made a dramatic improvement in fetal imaging. Various viewing directions and rendering modes help better demonstration of pathologies suspected on 2D US. Multiplanar mode is the key of the 3D US imaging. Software like magicut and TUI help to understand the anatomy better. Volume ultrasound is an excellent tool for diagnosis of facial defects, spinal abnormalities, limb abnormalities, etc. 4D US shows fetal movements and expressions that are basis for the neurodevelopment of the fetus. STIC and VCAD are the tools that have made detection of fetal cardiac anomalies more precise.

Résumé :
Abstract Background The concept of percutaneous tricuspid valve edge-to-edge repair (pTVR) is based on the connection of leaflets in the area of insufficiency using a coaptation device. By closing the coaptation device a considerable tractive force is applied on the leaflets, which might have an effect on the valve ring. Aim of the study was to examine the impact of device implantation on tricuspid ring dimensions. Methods During pTVR 3D zoom loops of tricuspid valve were acquired before and after clip placement using transoesophageal echocardiography. Measurements of TV ring dimensions included the following parameters: ring area (TV area), maximal diameter, minimal diameter, eccentricity index (Figure 1). Tenting area was derived from a four-chamber view of the valve. In addition, regurgitation severity was graded from 1+ to 5+ by measuring vena contracta area (VCA3D) in 3D full volume colour Doppler loop using multiplanar reconstruction. Right atrial (RA) and ventricular volumes (RVVd3D, RVVs3D) and function (RVEF3D) were assessed in a 3D full volume loop. Results The study population comprised 97 patients (age 78±6 years, 47 male), who underwent pTVR at our hospital. As expected cavity dimension correlated with TV area size (for RVVd3D r=0.51, p<0.001 and for RA volume r=0.71, p<0.001). The mean TV ring area was significantly reduced (ring area 8.53±2.23 cm2/m2BSA vs. 7.55±2.18 cm2/m2BSA, p<0.001) and the ring shape became more oval (Eccentricity index 1.2±0.15 vs. 1.29±0.17, p<0.001) after pTVR. The reduction of ring area (12±7%, range 0.7–28%) showed an only modest correlation to the number of implanted coaptation devices (r=0.30, p<0.001) and percentage reduction of VCA3D (r=0.36, p<0.001). In the patient group with a ring area change ≥12% a reduction to TR grade ≤2+ by pTVR was achieved in 83% of cases, whereas only 62% of patients reached moderate TR when area change was below 12%. Conclusion pTVR using coaptation devices reduces the ring area. This effect is related to the number of devices implanted. Funding Acknowledgement Type of funding sources: None.

Methods The studied group consisted of 70 patients aged 26-49 (mean 43.1, SD ±4.3), 17 women and 53 men, with MI and with family history of premature atherosclerosis, defined as MI or ischaemic stroke in first-degree relatives at age <65 years in women or <55 years in men. The mean BMI in the studied group was 28.8 kg/m2 (SD ±3.5), total cholesterol level 202.3 mg/dl (SD ±3.5), HDL 40.6 mg/dl (SD ±9.6), LDL 124.0 mg/dl (SD ±28.9), triglycerides 164.4 mg/dl (SD ±63.5), glucose 108.3 mg/dl (SD ±19.9) and creatinine 0.9 mg/dl (SD ±0.2). Regarding other risk factors 63 patients (90%) were smokers (mean 24.1 pack-years, SD ±13.0), 44 (62.8%) had hypertension, 11 (15.7%) had diabetes mellitus, and 8 (11.4%) had depression. All patients had diagnosed MI including MI with ST elevation (STEMI) in 18 cases (25.7%) and MI without ST elevation (NSTEMI) in 52 cases (74.3%). All patients, except 2 (no consent), had performed coronary angiography revealing 1-vessel coronary artery disease (VCAD) in 33 patients (47.1%), 2-VCAD in 17 patients (24.3%), and 3-VCAD in 20 patients (28.6%). The mean left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was 51.8% (SD ±8.0). The total DNA has been extracted from whole peripheral blood samples. The targeted enrichment library was prepared and analyzed using New Generation Sequencing method on Hiseq4000, 2x150 cycles. Statistical analyses were performed using the R software package (www.r-project.org/). The results of sequencing were compared to data from the reference control population consisting of 597 healthy people (418 women, 179 men) aged 18-83 (mean 40.5, SD ± 12,4) as a whole and after matching with a studied group by age and gender in a proportion 1:3 (210 people, 51 women and 159 men, aged 18-77, mean 42.1, SD ±10.6) using Propensity Score Matching. Risks associated with detected variants were evaluated using Fisher’s exact test based on the allelic frequencies of variants in both groups. Results SYNE1 gene variant rs36215567 (NM_182961.4: c.20396+22A>G) has been detected in statistically significant higher incidence in the studied group in comparison to the control population (p=0.005) with OR=4,80 (95%CI 1,43-14,45) as well as when compared to the control population matched by age and gender (p=0.004) OR=9,31 (95%CI 1,64-95,41). There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of familial hypercholesterolemia related gene variants: LDLR c.667G>A, PCSK9 c.658-36G>A, PCSK9 c.996+55C>A and APOB c.12382G>A between both cohorts. Conclusion A novel variant of SYNE1 gene is associated with myocardial infarction in young age patients with a family history of premature atherosclerosis.

Résumé :
Abstract Background A considerable proportion of patients who are considered for percutaneous tricuspid valve edge-to-edge repair (pTVR) interventions have endocardial lead induced tricuspid regurgitation (TR). The aim of this study was to examine the impact of lead-leaflet interaction on the effectiveness of pTVR. Methods For each patient, the lead position within the tricuspid valve (central, commissural, or towards one of the three leaflets) and the type of lead-leaflet interaction (leaflet impingement or adhesion) were identified during thorough 2D/3D transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography examinations. Before and after pTVR, echocardiographic data, including 3D full-volume datasets, were obtained and quantified. TR severity was graded from 1+ to 5+, based upon the effective regurgitant orifice area by the PISA method (EROAPISA) and the vena contracta area (VCA3D) as measured by multiplanar reconstruction from a 3D color Doppler loop. Maximal diastolic tricuspid annulus area from a 3D zoom image, tricuspid tenting area, and right atrial volume were quantified. Right ventricular assessments included ejection fraction (RVEF3D) and diastolic (RVVd3D) and systolic (RVVs3D) volumes. Results Out of 99 patients who underwent pTVR at our hospital, 38 patients had implanted cardiac devices of the following types: pacemakers (n=25, 66%), cardiac defibrillators (n=7, 18%), and biventricular pacemakers (n=6, 16%). In 24 (63%) of these device patients, TR grade was ≤2+ after pTVR. In 14 of the device patients, TR grade remained severe after intervention (Grade 3+ in 15%, grade 4+ in 11%, and Grade 5+ in 11% of the device group). In comparison, in 78% of patients without endocardial leads, only moderate TR was achieved after pTVR. Figure 1 shows the distribution of lead positions within the tricuspid valve. A relevant lead-leaflet interference (rLLI) for pTVR interventions was defined as impingement or adhesion in the target area of the coaptation device (anteroseptal or posteroseptal). Binary logistic regression analysis showed an increase risk (Odds ratio 11, R2 0.34, 95% CI 0.019–0.44, p=0.003) for a suboptimal pTVR result (TR grade >2+ after intervention) in patients with rLLI. Although patients with rLLI (n=17) had significantly higher VCA3D values as compared to patients without rLLI (n=21), it was not predictive for pTVR results. Echocardiographic parameters of right ventricular and tricuspid valve dimensions showed only a trend to higher values in the group with rLLI (Table 1). Conclusion Endocardial lead induced TR negatively impacts the effectiveness of pTVR irrespective of the initial degree of TR. Funding Acknowledgement Type of funding sources: None.

Résumé :
In roller-compacted concrete technology, withthe use of low water and cement content, the concrete mixture after kneading has high hardness and compaction equipment must be used to compact and shape the product. Therefore, the content of mixing water, binder, and aggregate are considered decisive factors, greatly affecting the properties of roller compacted concrete in both the fresh state and the hardened state. The paper uses the mathematical method of two-factor rotatable central compositional planning to simulate the effect of volumetric ratios of water-binder (VN/VCKD) and sand-aggregate (VC/VCL) on the objective functions of the test. The selected objective functions are the hardness of the concrete mixture and the compressive strength of the roller-compacted concrete at the age of 28 days. From the obtained objective functions, it is shown that both control variables VN/VCKDand VC/VCLhave a significant influence on the valuesof the experimental model. When the VN/VCKDratio increases, the water content contributes to increasing the plasticityand reducing the hardness of the concrete mixture. At the same time, excess water exists in the concrete mass in the form of air bubbles, pores, and magnetism. That reduces the compressive strength of the product. Furthermore, the VC/VCLratio of the aggregate that is too small or too large tends to cause the compressive strength of the concrete to decrease.
