Texte intégralParental liability is one of the most problematical aspects of tort liability cases. In most lows in the world is written that both parents are liable for the damages made by their child. There is no information about individual liability of child’s father or mother. Especially this problem becomes important then parents live separately. Then we have a question is child’s father who does not live together with his child liable for the torts and minors made by his child. This problem becomes complicated when father did all he could to help his child to act legally. But on the other hand, if we presume that according these circumstances father is not liable, we can breach victims’ rights. Main rule of civil liability is damages compensation for the victim. This dilemma is important in our days because there is big number of juvenile crimes. Civil liability for juvenile crimes is taken by parents or institution which supervises the juvenile at the time when tort is made. Under these circumstances we need stronger regulation of subjects liability limits. The object of the work is liability limits of father who lives separately and does not take care about this child for the torts made by his child. Texte intégralThe aim of this paper is to analyse the relation of the child's status in the class and his/her learning achievements. The survey respondents are 108 sixth-formers and their teachers from two schools. The research tools include a pilot survey questionnaire for teachers, a socio-metric questionnaire for the child to define his/her social status, and a questionnaire for the child to define factors that influence his/her choice of friends in different life and school situations. The questionnaire for the teachers includes questions on leadership in the class, pupils with special needs, and a ranking scale of pupils. Children who have neither learning difficulties nor special needs are ranked as having high or medium status by their teachers and classmates, and those who have learning difficulties or special needs are ranked low status. Children with learning difficulties or special needs are neglected by / not popular with their classmates neither at school nor outside school. Children’s status at school is partly related to and their learning difficulties fully related to their parents' education. Children’s status is mostly related to their learning difficulties.

Texte intégralThe variety of contemporary mass-media forms (press, radio, TV, internet etc.) actualizes media’s role and its influence researches. Such approaches as women, family representations within Lithuanian media researches take the main place and meaning that mostly focus on: a) adults’ self-image construction in the media; b) gender identity; c) family models; d) actualization of social behaviour; e) the influence of a given image for the children’s ability to recognize daily routine events. Many researches have been done on using child’s image within TV commercials and the main issues about using typical girlish view and semiotic family’s image, which is dedicated to children, analysis were set. Meanwhile such type of researches that analyzes children’s representations on TV commercials are not systematically organized yet in Lithuania. Thus, trying to reveal some theoretical interpretations and evaluating tendencies of children’s image usage on TV commercials in the context of their rights protection, the conceptions and manners of TV commercial were generalized. Also some possibilities of child’s rights and his/her legal interests’ protection on TV commercial were highlighted as well. Texte intégralModern society's attitude towards family is changing due to a man’s and a woman's social roles: from the traditional, where the man is breadwinner and the woman takes care of children and household chores, to the egalitarian (in French egalitaire - Equality), where both spouses (partners) are economically active, share household chores and children care, make decisions. Despite whether the family is egalitarian or traditional, from all common family functions, it accomplishes the most important - the socialization function. There are not many researches, how the changes of family institute affect children's socialization, and therefore, it was decided to investigate parent’s attitude towards children's socialization in an egalitarian family in this Master’s Work. Family institute is now going through a transitional period in Lithuania. The egalitarian provisions of the roles of spouses (partners) have often been intertwined with the traditional, patriarchal roles and so, in this work a key criterion for separating the egalitarian family from a traditional one, is both parents' economic employment. The results of this work showed that in the egalitarian families parents spend not enough time with their children. Texte intégralChildren who appears to be in the territory of armed conflict, can be divided in two large groups according to the Intenational Law. Firstly, there is children who participate in conflicts directly engaging in combat or act indirectly trough such acts as seeking and sending military information and transporting arms and munitions, they are refered in this master thesis as child soldiers. Next group is known as child civilians, who do not participate in military activities, however, they are still affected by conflict. The international law prohibits recruitment and participation in hostilities of child soldiers. Among others this prohibition brings into focus such issues: the type of participation with which international law is concerned; minimum age of recruitment and the specific situation of children who are 15 to 18 years old; whether there is effective mechanism of implementation; what is the extent of duty upon states, and many more. Also, the possibility of prosecution when the child soldiers seriously violate international criminal law is discussed. Lastly, the short study of three recent armed conflicts where the child soldiers were massively recruited is provided. This topic I missed analysis, although in intellectual climate of Lithuania same problems constantly treating. So my work purpose is topical in Lithuanian concept context. At this master work I experimented to answer at his question, with reference varied science literature and articles. Special impact power of music for human since many centuries ago cognize, priests, philosophers. Philosophers accent, that in great music, language of intonation expressing and specifically feel as integral unity of being meaning. Plato said „formative perfect Citizen first place belong to music”. By V. Lansbergis „music in general meaning is life, love expression with all their variety”. Music make child happy, help to be disciplined, and do impact to child vision, feelings, emotions, behavior. The music learns to hear, stimulate active interesting in art. Families are confronted with new, till now inexperienced and hardly realized processes and problems. Also changes happen in families’ value orientation by changing conditions. Traditional family features disappear expeditiously. Family is the first social group, which child is closely connected with. Firstly, family from the infancy is the main intermediate between society and its culture, and a child. Here a child hears what is happening around him/her. Here life events are judged and experienced sensitively. So and a child is not apathetic to all this. Divorce for children is not a one day event but a long process, which starts before the official divorce and lasts for a long time. Children suffer parents’ conflicts when their mind which is not in time to adjust to nervous strain in a family is injured. When parents brake up, an irreversible process starts in a child’s mind that is called his /her value reduction. A child needs the love from both parents; therefore, he/she protests by his/her behavior against high-handed parents’ feelings and rapport. Divorce changes not only everyday social conditions but also shocks deeply a child’s mind. The research problem: family is making strong influence to children development. The families pick out development patterns, methods, socioeducational and sociocultural aspects form the child’s personality basis. The research object: adolescences’ parents’ options about their parents and their education in family. Tasks: 1. To analyze children education and socialization in family. 2. To survey children education characteristics, patterns, methods, socioeducational and sociocultural aspects in family. 3. To survey development and alterations of children education characteristics, methods, socioeducational and sociocultural aspects in family. 4. To evaluate how changed children education in family during twenty years. Methods: The questionnaires were distributed among the parents at workplaces in Vilnius. 110 parents completed questionnaires. Results: Nowadays children education in family is more democracy then twenty years ago. Parents attempt to strike a balance between demanding that their children behave appropriately and responding to their children’s need.

Texte intégralThe education of child in a family is mostly comprehensible as a duty of a mother. But a father is also a very important person in process of child’s education. Only both parents can create a favourable situations to raise their child. While raising a child a man reveals father’s characteristic – fatherhood. This characteristic is characterized by various features. The purpose of these master thesis is to determine the connection between fatherhood and child’s learning outcomes. There were examined 370 (14 – 18 years old) schoolchildren from three middle schools in Kaunas. During the inquiry there was collected child‘s opinion obout their father‘s fatherhood characteristic and data about child‘s learning outcomes. The respondents were questioned with the help of "The Inventory of father involvement", which enables to determine the level of father‘s characteristic – fatherhood. In the research there were presented pecularities of fatherhood characteristic. There was estimated that fatherhood, as the characteristic of male, correlates with child‘s learning outcomes. It was also estimated that eight of nine father‘s fatherhood indications have a connection with child‘s learning outcomes and all nine indications have a connection with the attendance of lessons.

Texte intégralEn 1936, tuve inicio, en España, la Guerra Civil Española, que colocó en combate la derecha, la cual luchava pela permanencia de la monarquia, y las distintas vertentes esquerdistas, que almejavam la instalación del Regime Republicano y la modernización del país. Los países latino-americanos vivieran situaciones análogas de lucha pela modificación governamental y pela concesión de derechos a los proletarios. La grande mayoria de las tentativas fueran infrutíferas, como es el caso de Brasil, con la Coluna Prestes y la Intentona Comunista. Por eso, muchos brasileños, que tenian inclinación republicana, se solidarizaran con la causa de los rojos españoles y se alistaron como voluntarios de las Brigadas Internacionales. Ese foi el caso de la personaje Vasco Bruno, del romance Saga, de Erico Verissimo, que se destinó a España para auxiliar a la República. Durante el período que permaneció, y después de volver al Brasil, Vasco escribió un romance, como forma de catarse para sus traumas y culpas, en que relata los motivos que le levaran a alistarse, las tentativas de olvidar el pasado para suportar el ambiente hostil de la guerra, los acontecimientos trágicos de la guerra, y, además, su vuelta al Brasil y como era la vida para un intelectual militante. De esa forma, la presente pesquisa, de carácter bibliográfico, analisa la formación de la Memoria Cultural de la Guerra Civil Española a partir de la perspectiva de un voluntario brasileño, además de verificar la concepción histórica que permeia el romance Saga. Para eso, son utilizados los presupostos teóricos de Henri Bergson, Sigmund Freud, Harald Weinrich, Jan Assmann, Paul Ricouer, Walter Benjamin e Martin Heidegger. Constatase que la elaboración de un romance por un ex voluntario, que fue un testigo de los horrendos acontecimientos, perpetua esa memoria y propicia la reflexión sobre las barbáries, de las cuales somos todos herederos.

La industria inmobiliaria representa un escenario atractivo para la Constructora Valko S.A., quien en la actualidad se desenvuelve en la construcción de obras viales dentro del ámbito nacional con miras a la adjudicación de proyectos de expansión al mercado del Perú. Motivos de crecimiento y expansión, sumado a una buena salud financiera y estabilidad como compañía en su rubro más una excelente reputación avalada en atractivos indicadores de seguridad y calidad le llevan a buscar caminos de diversificación en la construcción de edificios para vivienda mediante la creación de una Unidad Estratégica de Negocios con alcance en la venta, comercialización y administración de los edificios. Inicialmente, dos proyectos en Chile serán la puerta de entrada al mercado inmobiliario, los que merecen exclusiva atención al presente documento en cuanto a la apertura en dimensionamiento, penetración al mercado, alcances comerciales y operacionales con sus respectivas evaluaciones financieras que conllevan la materialización de esta UEN. Asimismo, y como parte de la escalabilidad de la compañía se contempla la futura construcción -aprovechando la estancia en el país vecino- de un tercer proyecto. Para el caso del ámbito nacional, el segmento socioeconómico que se aborda es el ABC1 y los valores de comercialización fluctúan entre las UF 6.000 a UF 14.000 con departamentos de 2 a 4 dormitorios, siendo además las personas naturales e inversionistas quienes podrán ser los propietarios y en este sentido dar uso ya sea como vivienda principal, segunda o hasta una inversión para arriendos. El foco del negocio se enmarca en el uso de sinergias de su actual cadena de valor en la compañía, haciendo hincapié en áreas de aplicación común que permitan aprovechar el Know-How principal de sus recursos y capacidades, siendo la ventaja competitiva la diferenciación del producto a comercializar. Este factor diferenciador tiene relación con el servicio integral mediante la experiencia que cada potencial comprador pueda disfrutar desde la preventa hasta su habitabilidad, como también la personalización del departamento con elementos tecnológicos de tendencia y servicios que generan mayor valor y confortabilidad bajo un pilar de sustentabilidad. Texte intégralEvery year in Lithuania there is a growing number of victimized children. Around 15% of registered cases are about parents’ or other close relatives’ physical violence against children. Mass media more and more often announces about children seriously injured or killed by their parents, about violence at school. The situation demands a quick and effective solution. The thesis “Legal regulation of child protection from physical violence” contains a concentrated and systemized analysis of sociologic, psychological and legal sides of child’s physical abuse. Not only legal acts and theoretical literature is analyzed, but also the analysis of children’s, parents’ and teachers’ research data is presented. In the first part of thesis author presents the main conceptions: the concept of child and childhood; analysis of violence, physical violence, the reasons of this phenomenon and consequences for a child; the principles of legal protection and prevention of violence. In the international level the rights of the child are established in various declarations and conventions, many important provisions are put in the form of recommendations. Resumo: Trinta e duas coxas foram dissecadas com o objetivo de se estudar as duas porções do músculo vasto lateral e os respectivos ângulos de inserção na patela, bem como suas relações com as estruturas associadas: retináculo lateral e tracto iliotibial. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, o músculo vasto lateral divide se em duas porções: uma longa e proximal, o vasto lateral longo e outra oblíqua e distal, o vasto lateral oblíquo. O músculo vasto lateral oblíquo origina-se da linha áspera do fêmur e septo intermuscular lateral inserindo-se por tendão próprio, o qual dirige-se inferior e lateralmente ao músculo vasto lateral longo, unindo-se a este na borda superolateral da patela, freqüentemente unido à cápsula articular. As fibras distais do músculo vasto lateral oblíquo apresentaram-se interdigitadas no retináculo lateral e tracto iliotibial. A porção superficial do músculo vasto lateral oblíquo mediu em média 8,95cm e as porções distal e proximal do seu ventre muscular distaram respectivamente 2,2cm e 11, 15cm do epicôndilo lateral. Os ângulos de inserção na patela foram, em média, de 13,6 graus para o músculo vasto lateral longo e 50,4 graus para o músculo vasto lateral oblíquo. Através dos resultados, concluímos que o músculo vasto lateral é dividido em duas porções distintas: o músculo vasto lateral longo e o músculo vasto lateral oblíquo. O músculo vasto lateral oblíquo é um importante estabilizador dinâmico da patela e por apresentar suas fibras distais interdigitadas no retináculo lateral e tracto iliotibial confere à essas estruturas estabilizadoras estáticas u!l1 caráter dinâmico, além de exercer por sua angulação, um importante vetor de tração lateral da patela
Abstract: Thirty-two thigh were dissecated to study the two parts of the vastus lateralís and its respective angles of the patella insertion, as well as the relation with the two associated structures as lateral retinaculum and iliotibial tract. According to the results obtained the vastus lateralís muscle is divided into two parts: one long and p roxi mal part, (vastus lateralís longus) and another oblique and distal, (vastus lateralís oblíquos). The vastus lateralís oblíquos muscle originated from the rough line of the femur and lateral intermuscular septum, being inserted for a tendon that goes inferior and lateral to the vastus lateralís longus muscle, joining to it at the superior and lateral patella board, frequently joined to the articular capsule. The distal fibers of the vastus lateralís obliquos presents themselves interdigitated at the lateral retinaculum and iliotibial tract. The superficial part of the vastus lateralís oblíquos muscle measured 8,95cm on average and the distal and proximal parts of its muscle belly had a distance of 2,2cm and 11, 15cm respectively from the lateral epicondilo. The insertion angles at the patella were 13,6 degrees for the vastus lateraris longus muscle and 50,4 degrees for the vastus lateralís oblíquos muscle. From these results, we can conclude that vastus lateralís muscle is dividided into two distinct parts: the vastus lateralís longus muscle and the vastus lateralís oblíquos muscle. The vastus lateralis oblíquos muscle it is an important stabilizer of the patella and for presenting its fibers interdigitated at the lateral retinaculum and iliot~bial tract confers to these static stabilizers structures, dinamic features. Texte intégralLanza del Vasto (1901-1981) is generally known for his social and spiritual commitment influenced by Gandhi’s non-violence, still he developed throughout his life a poetical work with multiple facets. The problematics of time provides a key to penetrate his poetical world, luminous and demanding. The links between time passing and the act of writing is studied in the first part of this work. The poet wavers between fascination and revolt when confronted with the fleeting of time; his writing becomes the stage of a struggle between transience and duration. In the next part, linear times as opposed to cyclical time is dealt with, two ways of time’s representation which shed light on the religious and mythical dimension of his poems. The poet attempts to reconciliate the Christian conception of History with the cyclical return which is the basis of rhythm in poetry. In the last part, the close bind between present time and eternity is examined. According to Lanza del Vasto, poetry has an ontological scope, it can express and even bring out the mystery of absolute presence. Thus, in spite of its “antimodern” aspect, Lanza del Vasto’s writing is part and parcel of the contemporary poetical reflexion, for its shows through its diverse approaches a constant concern: the quest of a way of being caracterised by the presence’s intensity. His writing, on the brink of eternity and instantness, reveals a poetics of time which tries to express and go beyond human temporality

Permanent changes in various states, society and each of its member’s life, the challenges of the new era, require changes in the protection of child rights, promote to review applicable and new ways and means to improve and strengthen the protection of child rights. The objective of the Bachelor’s thesis is to analyse the implementation of the protection of child rights policies in Plunge District Municipality and define the opportunities for the improvement. First of all, by analysing the scientific literature and documents, the protection of child rights policy concept is disclosed, the implementation of this policy at the international, national and local levels is analysed. The thesis analyses the protection of child rights legal regulation in Lithuania and the system created by the institutions. After the analysis of documents, it appeared that in Lithuania the most important place, in the protection of child rights institutional system, takes the local child protection departments. Resumo: O propósito do presente estudo foi analisar as respostas eletromiográficas dos músculos Vasto Lateral (VL), Vasto Medial (VM) e Reto Femoral (RF) durante um esforço intermitente anaeróbio e estabelecer correlações entre os sinais eletromiográficos dos músculos VL, VM e RF e os indicadores de desempenho físico. Oito ciclistas do sexo masculino (idade = 18-30 anos) foram submetidos a três testes anaeróbio de Wingate (W1, W2 e W3) intercalados por dois minutos de recuperação. Foram mensuradas a amplitude dos sinais eletromiográficos (EMG-RMS) e a potência média relativa (PMR), obtida durante os testes de Wingate. Houve queda de 27% na PMR do W1 para o W3. Com o decorrer dos testes de Wingate, verificou-se uma pequena redução na EMG-RMS do W1 para o W3 sendo mais acentuada para o RF (13%) do que para os músculos VL e VM (6%). As respostas diferenciadas de EMG-RMS apresentadas pelos músculos podem ser explicadas pelas diferenças nas propriedades biomecânicas, arquitetônicas e morfológicas. A análise de regressão múltipla indicou que o músculo com maior contribuição para o desempenho físico foi o VL. Este músculo, isoladamente explica em 68%, 45%, e 60% a variação dos resultados de desempenho físico nos testes de W1, W2 e W3, respectivamente. De acordo com os resultados podemos concluir que o padrão de fadiga muscular apresentado pelos músculos VL, VM e RF são diferenciados. Verifica-se uma queda na PMR e uma redução dos EMG-RMS, todavia, em diferentes proporções. Isto indica a necessidade do desenvolvimento de estudos que mensure os acúmulos de metabólitos e alterações no padrão dos sinais eletromiográficos durante esforços intermitentes de alta intensidade
Abstract: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the neuromuscular recruitment characteristics of Vastus Lateralis (VL), Vastus Medialis (VM), and Rectus Femoris (RF) during anaerobic intermittent effort in cyclists and the relationships between electromyographic signal of muscles and physical performance. Eight males cyclists (age 18-30 years) performed three Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT1, WAnT2, and WAnT3) on a cycle ergometer with two minutes of rest between each exercise bout. Relative mean power (RMP) and Root Mean Square amplitude (EMG-RMS) were recorded throughout the cycling. RMP decreased significantly between WAnT1 and WAnT3 by 27%. EMG-RMS decrease was slightly more pronounced for RF (13%) than VL and VM (6%). The different EMG-RMS fatigue patterns between the VL, VM, and RF may be explained by morphological, architecture, and biomechanical factors. The multiple regression analysis indicated that for performance the most prominent predictor was the VL. This variable alone explained 68%, 45%, and 60% of the variance in performance during WAnT1, WAnT2, and WAnT3, respectively. We concluded that EMG-RMS fatigue patterns were different between the VL, VM, and RF. MPO and EMG-RMS declined during high intensity exercise but not in the same proportion. Further investigation is required to measure both metabolite accumulation and changes in neural firing patterns during high intensity intermittent effort

Texte intégralThis paper demonstrates the situation of the law of child’s socialization, and legal education in Lithuania. The relevance of the problem of the law of child’s socialization and legal education are addressed in the work of several authors: A. Maceina (1991), L. Jovaiša ( 1995, 2003), V. Šlapkauskas (2004), J. Galinaitytė (2001), A. Pekauskas, G. Grigaliūnaitė (2008), and the number of studies that reveal the state of legal education in Lithuania is very low. The problem is very relevant because all legislation only discusses the rights of children and little is suggested about the duties of children, while the legal education is based on the mutual relation of subjective rights and legal obligations. Children are not internalising moral ideas and moral principles, and the rules of law do not become their internal behaviour rules. Legal education projects in Lithuania are yet in initial stage. Lithuania has not yet developed a legal education system, which is necessary for the legal education to become a logical process. The work consists of four main parts. It describes the concept of the law of socialization and legal education. It analyzes the legislation relating the law of socialization and legal regulation of the education content and process. In recent decades, has caused a large contemporary audience of children and young people, representing the time, the rise in conjunction with a computer and the Internet. The Internet today – the most accessible form of communication. Scientists (Huchby, Moran-Ellis, 2001) form the opinion that modern children are particularly susceptible to various technologies. However, young Internet users are generally not prepared to accept large amounts of information and diversity in cyberspace. In addition to a wealth of advantages, the Internet as a media tool has a number of drawbacks. One of them - online threats (access to inappropriate content, bullying and harassment, disclosure of personal information, etc.). Any information obtained via the Internet are changing children's attitudes to the world and can often destroy the inner perception. The object of investigation – threats to children online. On the other hand, the implementation of children‘s rights requires immediate actions because nowadays the rights of a child as a human are being notably violated. Everyday the rights of millions of children are being infringed in all possible ways. Even though in some countries significantprogress has been made in comparison with others, no country has reached the standard required by the Children‘s rights convention yet. The children‘s rights will be implemented only when the member countries are politically set on doing it and have enough possibilities and knowledge.

Accordingly active participation of children is beneficial both for themselves and the whole of society - children should have opportunities to be active participants. Although children are recognized as independent legal entities, exercise of their rights lies with parents. It is therefore necessary to pay particular attention to the behaviour of parents with regard to their children, their approach to the child rights, and the education of a child as an active participating individual.

Texte intégralAim of the study. To investigate the quality of in-patient service from the perspective of minor patients’ representatives at Kaunas child development clinic “Lopšelis”. Objectives. To evaluate in-patient service extent from the perspective of minor patients’ representatives, to examine the opinion of minor patients’ representatives about accessibility of service, to evaluate satisfaction of minor patients’ representatives with the provided service. Methods. Anonymous survey of 115 patients’ representatives (response rate – 87.8%) was carried out in 2007. SPSS statistical analysis program was used to process the data. Statistic data reliability was tested by chi square test of independence, degrees of freedom quantity and statistical significance (p). Results. Almost three thirds of surveyed patients‘ representatives (72.9%) indicated, that they were satisfied with the extent of service. The majority of respondents (80.5%) were satisfied with the duration of procedure. Statistically significant bigger part of respondents trusted in competence of specialists (77.9%) in comparison with the less trusted in competence of specialist (33.3 proc.) maintained, that they were satisfied with the diversity of provided service (p<0.01). Nearly half of the respondents (44.6%) revealed, that they were immediately admitted to the institution.
