It brings the focus on operational constraints, their diversity, and their influence on costs. The location decision is modeled as a trade-off between land rents (making it costly to locate close to the center of the urban area) and transport costs (which increase non-linearly when the warehouse moves away from the city center). The influence of various parameters on the optimal warehouse location is analyzed. The following conclusions are drawn.

Résumé :
In order to improve the transfers inside an Urban Rail Transit (URT) station between different rail transit lines, this research newly develops two Ordinal Logistic Regression (OLR) models to explore effective ways for saving the Perceived Transfer Time (PTT) of URT passengers, taking into account the difficulty of improving the transfer infrastructure. It is validated that the new OLR models are able to rationally explain probabilistically the correlations between PTT and its determinants. Moreover, the modelling analyses in this work have found that PTT will be effectively decreased if the s

Résumé :
This paper focused on the analysis of malnutrition of the children of Bangladesh urban areas in the presence of multicollinearity among the covariates. The ridge regression has been adopted under binary logistic model for analyzing malnutrition data extracted from Bangladesh Urban Health Survey 2013 (UHS 2013) dataset. The study reveals that city corporation slum area, mother’s age at birth, gender of child, birth order number, age of child, wealth index, mother’s education, access to media, toilet facility at household, taking antenatal care service, and place of delivery of index child have

The relevance of the study is determined by the public interest in logistic support of urban transport flows and tourism. The aim of the article is to determine the best innovative practices of providing transport and tourist flows by different urban transport modes, and also to identify prospects for their use in conditions of domestic markets. The study found that according to the German experience as one of the best practices, the priority of the development should be given to the rail transport as a key component of urban transport and logistics infrastructure, including the tourism sector
