Con la muerte de Saturnino Álvarez Turienzo desapareció el último representante de una época de la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. En este artículo sebusca acercarse a su personalidad académica y contextualizar su papel fundamental al tener que refundar la Facultad de Filosofía en circunstancias muy desfavorables. La dotó de todos los instrumentos a su alcance, sin poder evitar sus debilidades. Esta Revista es una de sus creaciones más perennes.

RESUMEN:1Tras el establecimiento de la dictadura en la España de la posguerra, la arquitectura se vio supeditada a sus intereses políticos e ideológicos, hecho que unido al aislamiento del país desembocó en la recuperación de las formas constructivas anteriores y, por ende, de los historicismos. El proceso de reconstrucción de la arquitectura religiosa estuvo marcado, en gran medida, por la línea regionalista o casticista, motivo por el que, en el caso del Principado de Asturias, destaca la recuperación del prerrománico asturiano. El primer proyecto para la reconstrucción de la iglesia parroquial de Santa Eulalia de Turiellos se presenta como el ejemplo más patente del uso del neo-prerrománico para estas arquitecturas, a pesar de no haber llegado a materializarse.PALABRAS CLAVE:Franquismo, reconstrucción, Langreo, La Felguera, José Ramón del Valle Lecue, neoprerrománicoABSTRACT:After the establishment of Franco’s dictatorship in Spain, architecture was strongly controlled by the political and ideological state interests. This fact, joined to the international isolation of the country, led to the recovery of historical styles. Religious architecture reconstruction process was defined, mostly, by regionalisms and this is the reason why asturian pre-romanesque style was recovered in the Princedown of Asturias. En este artículo abordamos la pregunta que Álvarez Turienzo consideró esencial para la reflexión filosófica y para las Humanidades: ¿qué es la ética?, ¿en qué consiste el sujeto ético que constituye su núcleo? Para responder a la cuestión el presente artículo da dos pasos. En primer lugar, critica conTurienzo al cientificismo porque reduce la ética a una ciencia de las costumbres o a una “filosofía de la ciencia moral”, a un saber teorético sin vigor práctico.En un segundo paso el artículo dialoga con la propuesta ética de Álvarez Turienzo, que considera que el camino para acceder al sujeto moral es una ética intrasubjetiva, una ética de la interioridad, en la línea de la tradición socrática, agustiniana y kantiana. Sin embargo, en el artículo defendemos que el método específicamente filosófico debe ser el trascendental, sea en la versión intrasubjetiva kantiana, sea en la versión intersubjetiva de la ética del discurso.Las vías intrasubjetiva e intersubjetiva para acceder al sujeto moral son complementarias.

Les recherches menées dans le champ de la psychologie morale par Larry P. Nucci et Elliot Turiel conduisent à identifier le domaine moral avec le domaine des jugements prescriptifs concernant la manière dont nous devons nous comporter à l’égard des autres personnes. Ces travaux empiriques pourraient apporter du crédit aux propositions normatives du philosophe Ruwen Ogien qui défend une conception minimaliste de l’éthique. L’éthique minimale exclut en particulier le rapport à soi du domaine moral. À mon avis cependant, ces travaux de psychologie morale ne permettent pas du tout d’affirmer que nous sommes, empiriquement parlant, des minimalistes moraux. Les résultats des recherches de Nucci et Turiel montrent que les personnes considèrent intuitivement que le domaine personnel – le domaine des actions qui affectent prioritairement l’agent lui-même – doit échapper au contrôle ou à l’interférence des autres personnes. Mais affirmer que c’est l’agent lui-même qui possède l’autorité légitime de décider dans le domaine personnel ne signifie pas que tout ce qu’il y fait soit moralement indifférent.

Despite the negative criticism leveled at them, certain television genres which treat intimate problems and issues as a kind of spectacle may also help adolescents learn how to cope with interpersonal situations and gain awareness of key social problems. This study focuses on examining the arguments that adolescents use to explain their possible participation (or lack of participation), either as guests or members of the audience, in Celebrity Gossip Shows (Salsa Rosa) and Talk Shows (Diario de Patricia), within the interpretative framework of Turiel’s theory (2002). To this end, interviews were conducted with adolescents from the Basque Autonomous Region and the answers given were grouped into three domains: conventional, moral or private. The results found show that the vast majority would not consider attending these programs for private reasons, and when asked to think in what hypothetical case they would consider participating, any change of opinion was always «Diario de Patricia» or almost always «Salsa Rosa» prompted by moral motives. All of those who said they would participate in the two programs justified their answer using conventional arguments. We can conclude that the adolescents participating in the study continue to value personal privacy, even in association with certain television programs in which the limits between private and public are transgressed. Determinados géneros televisivos que mediatizan la intimidad en forma de espectáculo, a pesar de las críticas negativas que reciben, también pueden servir a los adolescentes para aprender cómo afrontar situaciones interpersonales y tomar conciencia de problemas sociales relevantes. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo conocer los argumentos que los adolescentes exponen para explicar su posible presencia o no como público o protagonista en los programas de crónica rosa (Salsa Rosa) y «talk show» (Diario de Patricia), en el marco interpretativo de la teoría de Turiel (2002). Para ello, se han llevado a cabo entrevistas con adolescentes de la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca cuyas respuestas se han categorizado en los dominios convencional, moral o privado y, posteriormente, han sido analizadas mediante el programa Nudist. Los resultados hallados muestran que la gran mayoría no acudirían a estos programas por argumentos privados y, cuando se les pide que piensen en qué caso hipotético acudirían, el cambio de opinión, siempre «Diario de Patricia» (DP) o casi siempre «Salsa Rosa» (SR), va acompañado de motivos morales. Por otra parte, la totalidad de los que acudirían a ambos programas lo justifican con argumentos convencionales. Se concluye que los adolescentes participantes en este estudio continúan concediendo valor a la privacidad, aun cuando se asocia a determinados programas televisivos en los que se transgreden los límites entre lo privado y lo público.

Partiendo de la interpretación unitaria de la obra de fray Luis de León desde dos claves: pensamiento cristológico y onomástico (aportadas por Saturnino Álvarez Turienzo), se revisan los breves lugares en que este autor aborda la relación entre el dominio natural del ser humano sobre los bienes creados y la división de la propiedad. Fray Luis sigue las tesis de la Escuela de Salamanca sobre la concepción del dominio como atribución a la misma naturaleza humana y las múltiples formas de propiedad que derivan del derecho positivo, pero vincula al derecho de gentes (tradicionalmente ejemplificado con la división de la propiedad) un desarrollo propio y específico.

Este estudio es un homenaje a la memoria del Prof. Saturnino Álvarez Turienzo. El artículo desarrolla la línea fundamental de pensamiento de su ensayo: La ausencia de Dios y la inseguridad del hombre, donde se recorre el proceso de secularización que conduce a la condición actual de una situación precaria en la vida, bajo la actitud de la insecuritas. El desarrollo de este proceso se remonta a las fuentes del materialismo poshegeliano y al impacto del nihilismo de Nietzsche en movimientos diversos del siglo XX, como el existencialismo de Sartre y la literatura del absurdo. El nuevo tipo de humanismo, o de humanismos, propugnado por concepciones nihilistas de distinta clase ha conducido al hombre occidental a abandonar el cuidado de sus aspiraciones trascendentes y a caer en un periodo de relativismo.

La présente thèse compare le drame Le Docteur Faust de Christopher Marlowe (1604, 1616) avec la première traduction française faite par Jean-Pierre Antoine Bazy (1850) et la première traduction italienne faite par Eugenio Turiello (1898) en visant à identifier les changements textuels révélateurs du contexte culturelle et idéologique au moment où se produisent les deux textes cibles. Le Docteur Faust est un exemple emblématique de l’instabilité du texte dramatique source. Il nous est parvenu en deux versions (le texte A et le texte B) différentes du point de vue structurel, thématique et doctrinal. En revanche, aucune version ne permet pas une interprétation cohérente. Ce travail a pour propos d’examiner si les traductions de Bazy et de Turiello, qui proviennent de contextes géographiques, historiques et littéraires différents mais étroitement liés, multiplient les lectures plausibles ou bien si elles aboutissent à une vision plus constante. En outre, on s’interroge sur la cause des variations textuelles, généralement dénommées en traductologie les glissements. Tout d’abord, j’ai identifié une régularité des glissements qui se manifestent dans deux traductions en question. Puis, j’ai analysé les effets des glissements sur la structure et la signification générales des textes. Enfin, en adoptant une approche socioculturelle de l’analyse des traductions, j’ai exploré la manière dont les changements sont déterminés par l’idéologie des traducteurs et leur interprétation de l’original. Cela explique leur position au sein de l’espace politique et idéologique de chaque culture d’arrivée, ainsi que les normes traductrices et culturelles adoptées au cours de la traduction
The aim of this research is to compare Christopher Marlowe’s play Doctor Faustus (1604, 1616) with the first French translation by Jean-Pierre Antoine Bazy (1850) and the first Italian translation by Eugenio Turiello (1898) in search of the changes that are symptomatic of the cultural and ideological context of translation production. The case of Doctor Faustus represents the epitome of the instability of a dramatic source text. Two main versions of the play (the A-text and the B-text) differ in structural, thematic and doctrinal terms. At the same time, neither version delivers a coherent vision. The research seeks to examine whether Bazy’s and Turiello’s translation, belonging to different yet related geographical, historical and literary traditions, further multiply the potential readings of the original or whether they display a more consistent framework. In addition, we will analyse the causes of textual variation, commonly labelled in Translation Studies as shifts. First, we identified a pattern of shifts manifested in the target texts in question. Then, we discussed the ways in which the identified patterns of shifts affect the general meaning and the structure of the texts. Finally, adopting a socio-cultural approach, we showed how certain shifts are conditioned by the translators’ ideology and their interpretation of the original. This in turn reveals the positions they occupy within the political and ideological space of each target culture and the main cultural and translation norms operating in the recipient systems

Seguendo l’approccio metodologico della storia dei concetti (Begriffsgeschichte), l’elaborato mira a descrivere i cambiamenti dell’assetto politico-costituzionale italiano attraverso l’evoluzione semantica di sintagmi linguistici come ‘governo parlamentare’, ‘governo rappresentativo’, ‘governo costituzionale’, ‘parlamentarismo’. Tale analisi si concentra grossomodo in un periodo di tempo che va dalla seconda metà dell’Ottocento, fino alla prima metà del Novecento. Come fonti, accanto ai classici prodotti della dottrina politico-costituzionale, quali monografie accademiche, corsi universitari, prolusioni e discorsi parlamentari, si sono utilizzate voci di dizionari e enciclopedie, opuscoli, fonti giornalistiche, periodici e riviste di taglio più o meno specialistico e di orientamento politico diverso (liberale/moderato, cattolico, socialista, repubblicano, nazionalista, fascista). L’evoluzione concettuale di lemmi-cardine come ‘governo parlamentare’ e altri sintagmi ad esso finitimi permette di ricostruire i mutamenti della forma di governo italiana, evitando anche spiacevoli anacronismi a livello storiografico. Infatti la forma di governo non dovrebbero essere descritta attraverso quadri concettuali elaborati nella nostra contemporaneità e poi applicati retrospettivamente al passato, ma con sintagmi e concetti appartenenti alla realtà storica che si intende prendere in esame.

This chapter presents a critical overview of theory and research on culture and morality. The authors address both classic and contemporary models of morality, with consideration given to empirical findings that support the claims of these models as well as to how the claims of the models are supported or challenged by cultural approaches. The authors examine models of justice morality, including the classic cognitive developmental framework of Kohlberg and the contemporary distinct domain perspective of Turiel, work on moralities of caring, and moral ethics frameworks that dominate current work on morality in social psychology. They identify valuable directions for future research, including studies of culture and morality that go beyond taxonomic approaches to moral content and that examine such concerns as intergroup relations and prejudice, power dynamics in school and family relations, and cultural influences on the course, outcomes, and processes of moral socialization.
