Résumé :
The article is aimed at defining the key difference between multimodal and intermodal transportations, as well as studying the role of transport operators in the organization of multimodal transportations. In the course of the study, it was identified that both in the scientific field and in practice, mixed transportation is often understood as synonymous with the concept of «multimodal transportation», but it is determined that all integrated (multimodal, intermodal, combined) and separate (segment) transportations are part of mixed ones, which complement each other. It is noted that multimodal and intermodal transportations have a certain difference between themselves, which consists in the presence of the number of contracts and the responsibility borne by the transportation operator. It is proposed to take into account all the conditions that cause influence on the result of the decision on the implementation of multimodal transportation. In the study of theoretical and practical aspects it was possible to allocate the operators of multimodal transportation as follows: operators who operate with sea vessels; operators who do not operate with sea vessels, but may own other rolling stock, warehouses, etc.; forwarders who are not always multimodal operators and can be agents of some part of a transportation and cooperate with the main operator. Their special role in the organization of multimodal transportation is substantiated, taking into account all the factors and elements that must closely interact with each other in the delivery process. Prospects for further research in this direction are the construction of an algorithm for choosing a multimodal operator, taking into account various conditions.

The share of the transport component that is taken into account in the prices formation for final products reaches 50%, so the cost transport services has a great impact on the final goods price, and the need to carry out transportation in a tight time frame, take into account minimal costs require the emergence of new scientifically methods of their organization. The research purpose is to build the lot cargoes automobile transportations in cities system model. The research object is the lot cargoes automobile transportations in cities process. As the analysis result of lot cargoes automobile transportations rational technology formation in the cities, such basic problem at the transportation process organization is allocated - it is irrational transportation routes. It leads to a large overall truck mileage, as well as low transportation speed, which is unacceptable in the current competition. During the literature sources analysis, the most popular existing transportation routing methods were considered, by means of which in research it is planned to carry out transport routes building in cities and it was found out that the routes developed by means of these methods have average links. As the existing criteria analysis result of lot cargoes automobile transportations rational technology formation in the cities the transportations cost is chosen as a criterion. After analyzing the all modeling methods advantages and disadvantages, taking into account the scientific literature recommendations, it was decided to use mathematical modeling due to its results versatility and accuracy. After formalizing the research object, developed a model of "white box", in which for the selected input parameters (delivery points number, car load, the average consignment size delivered to one point) built the lot cargoes automobile transportations rational technology formation in the cities mathematical model, at which the transportation cost will be minimal.

As it is with every activity, the transport network can be organized in many ways by using different technical means and technologies. Taking certain management decisions is connected with the choice of one of the many possible options for realization of the transportation process. This is done with the help of one or a few indicators which serve as a criterion of efficiency, e.g. exploitation costs, profit, safety, time, etc. The research of the transport objects functioning and the optimization of their parameters is a very complicated task in most of the cases. In such cases the solutions of the problems which concern us are derived by the research and experimentation with a substitute (analogue) of the real object, specially designed for this purpose. This analogue is called a model and the process of its creation is called modelling.

Résumé :
The existence of online mode of transportation has attracted consumers’ attention, and therefore many switch from the use of conventional to online mode of transportation. The switch has become a trigger of conflict between drivers of conventional transportation, such as city transportation (angkot), taxi, motorbike (bentor), rickshaw (ojek pangkalan), and drivers of online transportation, such as Grab and Go-Jek. This artikel is focused on the existence and the conflict between these two mode of transportations in Kota Makassar. It was found that online transportation has become an alternative of transportation for society for a number of reasons: practicality, transparency, trustworthiness, security, insurance, features, discount and promotion rates, as well as new employment/part-time opportunities. The existence of online-based transportation has caused a conflict between the two. In one side, online transportation is considered to facilitate drivers and their passangers. On the other side, online transportation got criticised from drivers of conventional transportation due to the fact that the latter is being marginalised by the former. Conflict between the two is commonly base on operating lisence, colour of vehicle plate that significantly impacted on payment of taxes, passangers’ recruitment base, and competitive online transportation rates. The rate has becomeone of the advantages of online transportation as well as one of the source of conflicts between conventional and online transportation.

Résumé :
Freight transportation is closely related to economic development. Freight transportation will promote economic development, and economic development will also promote the growth of freight transportation. Therefore, quantitative analysis of the relationship between the two has certain research significance. This article explores the correlation between the two stages and different modes of transportation through coupling analysis, cointegration analysis, and gray correlation analysis based on the data from 1989 to 2018 of freight transportation volume and GDP. The study found that, overall, the growth of freight volume has a certain role in promoting economic growth, and the correlation between different modes of transportation is different. Among them, the correlation between water transportation1 and GDP is the strongest, and civil aviation is the weakest. The correlation between highways and GDP is stronger than that of railways, and railway freight transportation still has certain development potential under the conditions of green transportation and the "promoting railway instead of highway transportation" environment and transportation policies. According to the analysis, it is expected that the growth of freight volume will continue to drive economic growth in the future, but different modes of transportation will lead to different functions. Therefore, while continuing to maintain the development momentum of the freight transportation industry, adjusting a more reasonable transportation structure will be more conducive to China's economic development.

Résumé :
Transportation is a major component of living, government, and social systems. Tsocio-demographic conditions influence the performance. In this study has a purpose as an investigation of an event that measures the maximal capacity of the road as a way to overcome congestion. Searching for the maximal flow based upon the graph formed using the Ford-Fulkerson Algorithm with numerous stages, namely determining the possible pathway through the source point to the main point arranged in numerous iterations by analyzing the graph formed. Then the initialization process is given by zero flow from each side of the graph, then the search for maximal flow is obtained after doing as many as 16 iterations. The residual flow results from subtracting the total number of flows by the number of flows at each iteration. The iteration will stop if no more augmenting pathway is found. Cuts will occur if the amount of flow equals the amount of capacity. Research data is in the form of public transportations in Medan and routes. The data was obtained directly from the archives of the Transportation Service in Medan City. The search for the maximal flow of the transportation network is carried out by observing the public transportation route in the city of Medan, namely the public transportation route through Jalan Jamin Ginting to Jl. Various types of public transportation traverse Williem Iskandar. Based upon the research, the maximal capacity can be exceeded through the transportation network. There are 5 types of public transportations. The pathway through City Hall - Jl. Putri Hijau and the pathway through Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan–Jl. HM. Yamin has exceeded capacity because the types of public transportation that pass through the two roads are 15 and 9. However, the other lanes are still low, so it should divert some types of public transportation overload to empty roads.

Abstract The increase of the utilization of public rail transportations is searched in directions for redistribution of the passenger travels between rail and bus transportation. The rail transport benefits by redistribution of the transportation flows on paths, predominantly supported by rails. The redistribution of the transportation is formalized by bi-level optimization problem. The upper level optimization estimates the maximal flow, which can be transported through a transportation network, supported both by bus and rail transports. The lower level optimization gives priority to the rail transport by decreasing the costs of flow distribution, using rail transport. This bi-level optimization problem was applied for the case of optimization of the rail exploitation in Bulgaria, defining priorities in transportation of the National transport scheme.

Methods: An algorithm has been developed for planning the shipment and delivery of cargo flows to port station address in view of routing, time and cost parameters of transportation process which under, cost optimal values of being transported cargo and complex time indicators of transportation process are provided. One of the limitations in the optimization task is the volume of a ship batch that’s expected at any port unloading stations. The built mathematical model is a multi-criteria and multi-extreme task of nonlinear stochastic integer programming. The research theoretical and economic basis is the synthesis of the classical concepts of utilitarian and egalitarian approaches in a welfare theory that makes it possible to build sounded theoretically and demanded in practice the optimization models of multimodal freight transportation railway component. Results: Developed in analytical computing system environment the optimization algorithm provides opportunities along with Pareto optimal transportation plans for to find plans embodying “just in time” logistic concept, so at these plans, it is also achieved the balance of interests of transportation considered participants. Practical importance: An approach is proposed for to study freight transportation organization on a railway landfill wherein transportations are pursued within the framework of multimodal port-side transport and technological system. The developed models and algorithms can be recommended for practical use during the formation and analysis of logistic supply chains with rail and sea transport kind participation.

Résumé :
Abstract Transportation infrastructure is a stimulus in the economic growth of the region, no exception in Indonesia. But the interaction between transportation and economic development is a link to transportation’s ability to magnify the impact of urbanization. This raises the question of whether the existence of transportation can explain the economic growth that is occurring. On the other hand, whether the lack of transportation infrastructure is due to the economic capabilities that exist in the region. This research aims to pay attention to the relationship between transportation and economic growth in Sumatra Island. The growth of transportation infrastructure may explain economic growth in all districts of Sumatra Island but the magnitude of those relations in the urban areas are far greater than in nonurban areas. Using the Multispatial CCM method, it appears that investment in transportation infrastructure does not directly increase the GDP of transportation in the region. This research suggests that road investment can have an impact on GDP through increasing the region’s population which then provides an increase in GDP.

Résumé :
Universities and transit agencies across the United States have been finding innovative ways of providing and financing mobility services on and around university campuses. Many transit agencies are providing substantially more service and moving substantially more riders than their counterparts in nonuniversity environments. Determining what types of relationships exist between transit performance and university policies or practices is the research premise. To that end, the purpose is to document the types of transportation policies, demographics, and land use characteristics that exist on university campuses, and to examine the relationship between transit performance, land use on university campuses, types of university communities, university transportation and parking policies, and student demographics. These characteristics of university transportation systems were examined through demographic data and a mailed questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent to 48 universities and transit agencies across the United States, with 23 responding with enough valid data and information to be included in the study. It has been demonstrated in a significant number of university communities across the country that transit performance is enhanced dramatically by certain fare policies. However, that enhancement differs from one community to the next. It is believed that the answer to maximizing transit performance can be found in a combination of factors and that the optimum mix can be identified empirically.
