Résumé :

The acoustic standing wave inside a transparent flue organ pipe has been imaged using transmission electronic speckle pattern interferometry (TESPI). Optically imaging acoustic standing waves in a pipe requires sensing the pressure-induced change in index of refraction of the air, and imaging this change in index has been accomplished in the past using a variety of methods. However, the presence of the flowing air that is responsible for creating the sound of an organ pipe masks the optical effects attributable to the standing wave. We demonstrate that the optical effects of the standing wave can be separated from those of the flow by spectrally filtering high-speed TESPI images at acoustic frequencies. The resulting images show both expected and unexpected details of the standing wave inside an organ pipe. [Work supported by NSF through Grant No. PHY–2109932.]

Résumé :

The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is a well-known and often used computational technique to simulate air-flow in musical instruments. Most LBM simulations in musical acoustics published in the past have used unrealistic values for air viscosity and have focused their study on other aspects of the instrument than the open-end. Due to recent experimental discoveries, it is now interesting to focus more on the behavior at the open end of the a musical instrument, such as an organ pipe, while also including realistic playing parameters and fluid characteristics. This paper will discuss the model improvements necessary to investigate the end correction of open-ended musical instruments with LBM. Comparison of results will be made with a Comsol Multiphysics model and experimental work using transmission electronic speckle pattern interferometry (TESPI).

Optically imaging acoustic phenomena requires sensing the pressure-induced change in index of refraction of the medium, and imaging this change in index has been accomplished in the past using a variety of methods. However, these methods typically require a static ambient atmosphere, the sensing area is often limited by the size of the optics, and in some cases the phenomena of interest must be either reproducible or stable for time periods exceeding tens of minutes. We demonstrate that transmission electronic speckle pattern interferometry (TESPI) is a fast and effective method for imaging gas flow, acoustic standing waves, and standing waves in the presence of flow, with sensing times of less than one second and a viewing area of a square meter or more. ABSTRACT Silane coupling agents are commonly used in silica-filled rubber compounds to hydrophobize the silica surface and improve filler–rubber interaction. The coupling agent bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide (TESPT) is the most widely used coupling agent. The tetrasulfide is more reactive than the disulfide in bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]disulfide (TESPD) due to its low decomposition energy, resulting in more coupling reaction with rubber molecules. Meanwhile, vulcanization temperature affects chemical networks. Polysulfide is vulnerable to heat, so it can be easily broken to form shorter crosslinks. Compounds with TESPD or TESPT were vulcanized at 160 and 180 °C. In addition to the decomposition, the reactivity of the silanes was confirmed from the cure characteristics of the compounds without the curatives. TESPD could also cause a coupling reaction without the curatives such as TESPT known to release free sulfur. By analyzing vulcanizate structures, total crosslink density was separated into chemical crosslink density and filler–rubber networks. Applying TESPT or vulcanizing at 180 °C increased the filler–rubber networks, and the higher vulcanization temperature decreased the chemical crosslink density. By correlating physical properties, effects of the vulcanizate structures on performance of tread compounds were investigated. The filler–rubber interaction was dominant for wet traction and mechanical properties in tensile test. The chemical crosslink density affected rolling resistance.

Bu araştırmada 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin periyodik sistem konusundaki akademik başarılarına öğrenme amaçlı yazma aktivitelerinin etkisinin belirlenmesi ve bu aktivitelere ilişkin öğrenci görüşlerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Karma araştırma yaklaşımlarından müdahaleli karma araştırma desenine göre planlanan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bayburt ili merkez ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulun iki farklı sınıfında öğrenim gören 37 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Ön Bilgi Testi (ÖBT), Periyodik Sistem Akademik Başarı Testi (PSABT) ve Görüşme Formu (GF) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ÖBT ve PSABT için ilk olarak normallik analizleri yapılmış, sonrasında her iki testin veri dağılımlarının normal dağılım şartını sağlamamasına bağlı olarak, testlere non-parametrik testlerden Mann-Whitney U Testi yapılmıştır. GF’ndan elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. PSABT’den elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda öğrenme amaçlı yazma aktivitelerinden mektubun 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin periyodik sistem konusundaki akademik başarılarını arttırdığı belirlenmiştir. GF’den elde edilen verilerin analizinden öğrencilerin öğrenme amaçlı yazma aktivitelerine yönelik görüşlerinin olumlu olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Enflasyon nominal milli gelirin reel milli gelire göre artması anlamına gelmektedir. Bu durumda fiyatlar genel düzeyi, sürekli ve hissedilir şekilde yükselmektedir. Enflasyon, hane halkının satın alma gücü üzerinde olumsuz bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu nedenle, aslında çalışma isteğinde olmayan kadınlar, enflasyonun yüksek olması nedeniyle aile gelirleri azaldığından, aile bütçelerine destek olmak amacıyla işgücüne daha fazla katılma eğilimi sergileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de kadın istihdam oranları ile enflasyon oranları arasındaki ilişki 1990-2020 dönemi için araştırılmak istenmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında Fourier temelli testler kullanılmıştır. Değişkenlerin durağanlık düzeyleri hem geleneksel birim kök testleriyle hem de Fourier ADF birim kök testi ile sınanmıştır. Yapılan testlerin sonucunda, değişkenlerin düzeyde durağan olmadıkları, birinci mertebeden durağan oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Değişkenler arasındaki uzun dönemli ilişkinin tespiti için ise Fourier ADL eşbütünleşme testi yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, kadın istihdam oranı ile enflasyon oranları değişkenleri arasında eşbütünleşik bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiş olup, uzun dönemde enflasyon oranındaki artış yönündeki değişimlerin kadın istihdam oranlarını artırdığı tespit edilmiştir.

Bu çalışma Covid-19 pandemisi öncesinde ve pandemi döneminde BİST-100, BİST-50 ve BİST-30 endeksleri arasındaki uzun ve kısa dönemli ilişkilerin belirlenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada endeksler arasındaki uzun döneme dair ilişkinin analizi için Johansen Eşbütünleşme Testi, kısa vadeli ilişkilerin belirlenmesi için ise Vektör Hata Düzeltme Modeli (VECM) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca Granger Nedensellik Testi ile değişkenler arası nedensellik ilişkileri analiz edilmiştir. Eşbütünleşme testi bulgularına göre; hem pandemi öncesinde hem de pandemi döneminde BİST-100, BİST-50 ve BİST-30 arasında eşbütünleşme ilişkisi belirlenmiştir. Vektör Hata Düzeltme Modeli bulgularına göre; pandemi öncesi dönemde analize dahil edilen endekslerden birinde ortaya çıkan ortalamadan sapmaların diğerleri tarafından düzeltilemediği sonucuna ulaşılırken, pandemi döneminde ise BİST-100 ve BİST-50 endekslerinde meydana gelen ortalamadan sapmaların analize dahil edilen diğer endeksler tarafından düzeltilerek uzun vadede tekrar dengeye geldiği tespit edilmiştir. Granger Nedensellik Testinden elde edilen bulgulara göre ise, pandemi öncesi dönemde BİST endeksleri arasında nedensellik ilişkisi bulunamazken, pandemi döneminde ise endeksler arasında nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sosyal medya platformu olan İnstagram’ı aktif olarak kullanan kişilerin, İnstagram’da yürütülen pazarlama faaliyetlerine yönelik davranışlarının incelenmesidir. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi öğrencilerine (n=390) anket uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların kişisel bilgileri, İnstagram kullanım amaçları ve İnstagram’dan alışveriş yapma durumu tespit edildikten sonra, araştırma hipotezlerine yönelik analizler yapılmıştır. Analizlerde Pearson Chi-Square Testi kullanılmış olup, anlamlı ilişki tespit edildiğinde, ikili karşılaştırmalarda Bonferroni Testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, öğrencilerin İnstagram kullanım amaçları sırasıyla, arkadaş takibi, fotoğraf ve video paylaşımı, alışveriş yapmak, modayı ve ünlüleri takip etmektir. Modayı takip etmek, alışveriş yapmak ve firmaları takip etmek için İnstagram’ı kullanan ve yaş olarak daha büyük olan kadın katılımcılar, İnstagram üzerinden daha çok alışveriş yapmaktadır. Sonuçların İnstagram üzerinden alışveriş ve satış yapan kullanıcılara ışık tutacağı öngörülmektedir.

Il lavoro intende dare descrizione del trevigiano antico, una delle varietà meno note del Veneto medievale, attraverso lo studio di testi pratici compilati a Treviso nella prima metà del secolo XIV. Il corpus è bipartito: da una parte si dà edizione di un registro contabile relativo all'attività di un pellicciaio (del testo, ben caratterizzato, si propone un puntuale commento linguistico); dall'altra si raccolgono dei documenti volgari d'ambiente notarile che evidenziano invece la penetrazione di una scripta sovramunicipale, fortemente influenzata dal veneziano.

Résumé :

För att förmå komplex rytmik som parallella tempi, tillgodose eventuellt perfektionistiska ideal samt utveckla den tekniskt sämre sidan av mig har jag i denna uppsats undersökt imaginära visuella figurer som avbildar kontinuerliga rörelsemönster vid marimbaspel. I utforskande av min repertoar har jag hittat sektioner jag velat utveckla tekniskt eller där jag önskat få en ökad förståelse av tempi eller groove. En del av detta material har jag renodlat till övningar och har även skrivit ett stycke baserat på dessa företeelser.

Il tema trattato nel mio lavoro finale riguarda l’analisi dei tempi dell’accoglienza di persone richiedenti asilo e titolari di protezione internazionale accolte presso lo Sprar di Milano. Esso trae origine da una mia esperienza di stage presso tale servizio, grazie alla quale ho in seguito deciso di approfondire l’effettiva durata degli iter burocratici che gli ospiti devono affrontare presso la questura di Milano, la Commissione Territoriale e i Tribunali. In questo lavoro si intende analizzare anche l'incidenza di questi "tempi" sull'effettivo esercizio di determinati diritti da parte dei beneficiari, nonché sul percorso complessivo di accoglienza. In collaborazione con gli enti gestori dello Sprar di Milano ho svolto una ricerca su un campione delle persone accolte nelle varie strutture: ho ricavato una serie di variabili indicative dei diversi passaggi che hanno dovuto affrontare e ne ho derivato degli indicatori utili per capire alcuni aspetti del loro percorso di accoglienza. Sono oggetto d’analisi sia la durata complessiva degli iter con la questura e la Commissione territoriale sia l’eventuale verificarsi di violazioni dei diritti degli ospiti, legato proprio alla lunghezza di certi passaggi (tale lavoro ha carattere descrittivo). Oltre ad analizzare dati raccolti dalle cartelle sociali e anagrafiche degli ospiti, integrati parzialmente da informazioni dirette da parte degli operatori, si vuole approfondire tramite interviste con beneficiari e operatori come questi vedano e vivano tali aspetti.

La traduzione per il palcoscenico risulta particolarmente ardua rispetto a quella letteraria. Dalla quantità di elementi coinvolti alla questione del mantenimento della performabilità, quella teatrale è una traduzione difficoltosa, che richiede al traduttore particolari conoscenze e abilità. In questa tesi si discutono le problematiche legate alla traduzione in ambito teatrale e si propongono soluzioni a tali problematiche, e strategie che il traduttore può adottare per affrontarle. Si discute, inoltre, come una traduzione in questo campo non sia eseguita solamente dal singolo traduttore, ma sia il risultato di una stretta e continua collaborazione tra quest'ultimo e membri del gruppo teatrale che porterà in scena lo spettacolo tradotto. In tutto ciò risulta fondamentale il ruolo del pubblico d'arrivo, che è determinante nelle scelte di traduzione e che non va confuso con il lettore, che agisce in modo completamente diverso rispetto allo spettatore. La traduzione per il palcoscenico è peculiare e richiede particolare attenzione a svariati dettagli che vengono discussi in maniera esplicativa in questa tesi.

Résumé :

My Ph.D. dissertation, entitled Callimachus and Egypt. Texts and interpretations, combines philology and history of classical scholarship. In the second half of the XIX century, the relationship between Callimachus and Egypt was investigated by a critical current, the so called current of the “Egyptianizers”, whose contributions the dissertation considers in details. R. Merkelbach, L. Koenen, P. Bing and W.H. Mineur tried to prove that the Ptolemaic king intended to explain to his Greek subjects his role of Pharaoh, urging Callimachus to translate some aspects of pharaonic kingship in his works. A second “generation” of “Egyptianizers”, represented by D. Selden and above all by S. Stephens, expanded the scope of similar affirmations. They saw in the members of the Ptolemaic courts and in Callimachus a clear interest, not only for pharaonic kingship, but also for Egyptian realia. Therefore they maintained that some Callimachean works should be read taking into account two points of view, Greek and Egyptian (“seeing double”). The opponents of this critical current (G. Zanker, G. Weber, M. Asper and R. Hunter) objected that, under Ptolemy II and Ptolemy III, the Greeks created a sort of “apartheid” towards the Egyptians. By examinig Callimachean works, they reduced the importance of explicit mentions of aegyptiaca, which, in any case, are very few. Then, my dissertation deals with three still open issues: the look of the city of Alexandria in the third century, the worship of the Ptolemaic king, the sibling wedding between Ptolemy II and Arsinoe II. I analyse the presence of pharaonic kingship in Hymn to Delos, the work more frequently read under an “Egyptianizing” perspective. I devote a chapter to the potential Callimachean sources concerning Egypt, namely Hecataeus of Abdera and Manetho. Hecataeus of Abdera, author of Aigyptiaka, also wrote a work About the Hyperboreans, which Callimachus used for his Hymn to Delos and, maybe, for fr. inc. lib. Aet. 186 Pf. (=fr. 97 Massimilla), for which I suggest an emendation at line 2. In the second part of the dissertation, I offer text and commentary of Callimachean passages in which aegyptiaca are mentioned: four epigrams (epp. XXXVII Pf.=17 G.-P., XLIX Pf.=27 G.P., LV Pf.=16 G.P., LVII Pf.=18 G.-P.) in which we find references to Isis and Serapis, whose cult is object of a closer examination. Then, I analyse some frr. incertae sedis, which are especially interesting because very little studied until now. In particular, I suggest a collocation or I discuss the attribution to Callimachus: fr. 655 concerning the Persea tree, fr. 715 concerning Anubi’s dromos in Heliopolis, the Ious afixis quoted by Suida, fr. 811 inc. auct. concerning an alleged De Iside et Osiride, some mirabilia referable to Egypt. In conclusion, I remark that Egyptianizers‘ assumptions, though fascinating and stimulating, nonetheless have weak basis: Egypt appears in Callimachus in an erratic way and always subjected to an interpretatio Graeca, although the poet spended almost his entire life in Alexandria. Nonetheless in his court poems Callimachus probably made allusions to pharaonic kingship, acknowledging impulses that came to him from the Ptolemaic court. In appendix, because of its only partial connection to Egypt, I analyse the aition Busiris-Phalaris (frr. 44-47 Pf.+SH. 252=frr. 51-54 Massimilla), of which I offer text and commentary, with considerations about the figure of Busiris in Callimachus.

Résumé :

Il testo raccoglie la rielaborazione di alcune delle tesi di laurea più significative prodotte, dal 2011 al 2015, nei corsi di laurea triennale in Pianificazione della città, del territorio e del paesaggio e di laurea magistrale in Pianificazione e progettazione della città e del territorio dell’Università di Firenze, con sede a Empoli. Le tesi trattano un panorama attuale e variegato di problematiche interne alla disciplina urbanistica, utilizzando metodologie, chiavi di lettura e prospettive di analisi assai diverse. Il territorio che emerge come protagonista delle narrazioni dei giovani autori è un oggetto complesso e pluristratificato, fatto di cose e relazioni, adagiato sui tempi lunghi della storia, teso sul presente e proiettato nel futuro, che continua a sollecitare loro domande, dubbi, curiosità e anche alcune fruttuose risposte. In sintesi, più che campi di discussione di un sapere acquisito e valido una volta per tutte, i lavori qui presentati rappresentano campi di riflessione e di sperimentazione, occasioni di costruzione incrementale di soluzioni creative da parte degli autori.

Ağırlığına oranla yüksek dayanım ve rijitliğe sahip olmalarından dolayı birçok uygulama alanı bulunan tabakalı kompozit malzemeler, tabakalar arası temas kuvvetlerinin yarattığı etkilerden dolayı karşı koyabileceklerinden daha düşük yüklerde hasara uğramaktadırlar. Bu problemi tamamen ortadan kaldırmak adına malzeme (yapı) fonksiyonel derecelendirilme ile üretilmektedir. Fonksiyonel derecelendirilmiş malzemeler (FDM) belirli bir doğrultuda değişen malzeme özelliklerine sahip yüksek performanslı malzemelerdir. Bu malzemeler, özelliklerin keskin olarak değiştiği ara yüzeyleri ortadan kaldırarak bu yüzeyler arası temas kuvvetlerinin yarattığı hasarları en aza indirir. Bu benzersiz özelliklerinden dolayı birçok uygulama alanında hızla yayılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada dört farklı polimer malzeme kullanılarak eklemeli imalat yöntemi ile fonksiyonel derecelendirilmiş malzemeler üretilmiş, çekme testi ile mekanik özellikleri tespit edilmiş ve sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Fonksiyonel derecelendirilmiş malzemelerin mekanik özellikleri en büyük çekme dayanımı, elastisite modülü ve kopma uzaması sonuçları ile değerlendirilmiştir.

Résumé :

Faiz, en bilinen tabiri ile kiralanan paranın kira bedeli anlamındadır. İslam iktisadı, Bakara Suresi’nin 275 ayeti kerimesinde de bildirildiği üzere ticaretin helal, faizin (ribâ) haram kılınması düsturu ile hareket etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yukarıda bahsedilen faizin haramlığı düsturu da temel alınarak, günümüz kapitalist sisteminde kilit rol oynayan faizin, bireylerin bakış açılarında nasıl bir yer edindiğini araştırmak için yapılmıştır. İslam iktisadının ilkelerini yerine getirmeye çalışılarak oluşturulan kurumların, toplum tarafından nasıl değerlendirildiği de öğrenilmiş olunacaktır. Çalışma boyunca nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırmada veri toplamak için mülakat yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Mülakata katılan kişi sayısı 23 kişi olarak belirlenmiştir. Temel bulgulara göre, mülakatlara katılan bireylerin çoğu çevreden borç istemeden bankalara gitmektedir. Toplumsal ilişkilerin, maddi konularda yeterince kapsayıcı olmadığı göze çarpmaktadır. Bununla birlikte bireyler kendi yuvalarını kurmak için yuvadan ayrıldıkları zaman kendi ailelerine karşı “el(yabancı)” statüsüne geçmektedirler. Araştırmamız için görüştüğümüz bireylerden, ihtiyacı olan maddi miktarı bulmanın yollarından biri olan alternatif kurumları bilen birey sayısının az olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tekrar faizli kredi çekmeyi düşünen bireylerin bu kararlarındaki en önemli etken “hayallerini ertelememek üzerine kurulu bir dünya görüşüne” sahip olmalarıdır.
