Résumé :
We give the definition of the essence of the formation of teenager’s legal culture, which is understood as a purposeful, specially organized, managed social and pedagogical process that provides the assimilation of legal knowledge by teenagers, the manifestation of the legal position in socially useful activities. We also consider the impact factors of formation of legal culture of a modern teenager in society. The leading factors affecting teenager’s legal culture include a single national policy in the field of legal culture (“Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Legal Literacy and Legal Awareness of Citizens”), the organization of space for the participation of teenagers in socially significant activities and for the implementation of legal education (for example, the program “Do not Stumble!”), socializing the potential of the family in the process of legal education, the impact on the legal culture of the teenager media, first of all, Internet (methodical recommendations about placement on information stands, official Internet sites and other information resources of the educational organizations and bodies exercising management in the sphere of education, information on safe behavior and use of the Internet), legal education of teenagers in educational institution, attraction of the new subjects influencing formation of legal culture (interdepartmental interaction) (it is considered on the example of activity of the Children’s rights ombudsman and legal clinics), influence of features of teenage age.

Résumé :
Abstract: The overall percentage of teenager abusements filed nowadays in the world is about 80%, out of which 74% are girl teenagers and the rest are boys. For every 40 seconds, a teenager goes missing in this world. Teenagers are the backbone of one's nation, if the future of teenagers was affected, it would impact the entire growth of that nation. Due to the abusements, the emotional and mental stability of the teenagers gets affected which in turn ruins their career and future. These innocent teenagers are not responsible for what happens to them. So, parents are responsible for taking care of their own teenagers. But, due to economic condition and aims to focus on their teenager's future and career, parents are forced to crave for money. Hence, it becomes difficult to cling on to their teenagers all the time. In our system, we provide an environment where this problem can be resolved in an efficient manner. It makes parents to easily monitor their teenagers in real time just like staying beside them as well as focusing on their own career without any manual intervention.

Résumé :
The objective of this work was to study the perception of teenagers for their own sexuality in the Tunisian socio-cultural context. One hundred teenagers participated in the study. They filled in an anonymous self-report questionnaire, consisting of 14 items relative to the aspects that seemed to us the most meaningful concerning teenage sexuality. Eighty-one percent of the participants did not manage to provide answers, in conformity with scientific data, to a minimum of 75% of the items. Fifty percent considered masturbation at adolescent age to be pathological. The possibility of a homosexual tendency during adolescence was rejected by 75%. Eighty-one percent perceived the subject of teenage sexuality as embarrassing. They were not permissive regarding the issue of sexual protected relations amongst adolescents in 44% of the cases, and regarding the interest that a female teenager could have in sexuality in 23% of the cases. Our study demonstrated a relatively high frequency of prejudice relating to teenage sexuality amongst the teenagers, reflecting the impact of the taboo on sexuality and particularly on the female teenager in the Tunisian socio-cultural context. The change in mentalities regarding teenagers’ sexuality should take place very smoothly.

Teenagers frequently struggle to make informed career choices and often turn to their parents or carers for help. In response to this, the INSPiRED Teenager framework was developed to encourage collaborative career-based learning between parents and carers and their teenage child. A mixed-methods approach was implemented to explore the effectiveness of the two programme delivery formats. The findings show evidence of improving teenagers' career confidence and career direction clarity and also parents/carers' understanding of the changing world of work, their ability to have informed conversations with their teenagers, and their confidence and clarity to help their teenager make informed career decisions.

Résumé :
ABSTRACTObjective:The loss of a parent to cancer is considered one of the most traumatic events a teenager can experience. Studies have shown that teenagers, from the time of diagnosis, are already extremely worried about the consequences of a parent's cancer but tend to be left to manage these concerns on their own. The present study aimed to explore young adults' advice to healthcare professionals on how to support teenagers who are losing a parent to cancer. Methods:This work derives from a Swedish nationwide survey and employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive/interpretive design to obtain answers to an open-ended question concerning advice to healthcare professionals. Of the 851 eligible young adults who had lost a parent to cancer when they were 13–16 years of age within the previous 6 to 9 years, 622 participated in our survey (response rate = 73%). Of these 622 young adults, 481 responded to the open-ended question about what advice to give healthcare professionals. Results:Four themes emerged: (1) to be seen and acknowledged; (2) to understand and prepare for illness, treatment, and the impending death; (3) to spend time with the ill parent, and (4) to receive support tailored to the individual teenager's needs.Significance of Results:This nationwide study contributes hands-on suggestions to healthcare staff regarding attitudes, communication, and support from the perspective of young adults who, in their teenage years, lost a parent to cancer. Teenagers may feel better supported during a parent's illness if healthcare professionals take this manageable advice forward into practice and see each teenager as individuals; explain the disease, its treatments, and consequences; encourage teenagers to spend time with their ill parent; and recommend sources of support.

Résumé :
Aim The paper examines teenage alcohol use from an intergenerational perspective through an ethnographic case study of interaction between teenagers and adults. Methods Two periods of ethnographic fieldwork were conducted in a rural Danish community of approximately 6000 inhabitants. The fieldwork included 50 days of participant observation among 13–16-year-olds (n=93) as well as semi-structured interviews with small self-selected friendship groups. The present paper presents an analysis of field notes from a night of participant observation that is used as an emblematic example of informants' alcohol use and their interaction with adults. Theoretically, the paper adopts French philosopher Michel de Certeau's conceptual framework for understanding the practice of everyday life, in particular his distinction between strategic and tactical action. Results Two scenarios are described and taken to represent two different adult approaches to teenage drinking. In Scenario I, adults accept a group of teenagers' drinking in the home, and in Scenario II adults create an alcohol-free space which they guard against the intrusion of intoxicated teenagers. In both cases, however, adults use their intergenerational position in order to strategically contain teenage drinking. Meanwhile, teenagers act tactically by adjusting their alcohol use in time and space. Further, the use of alcohol marks a shift in the interaction between adults and teenagers in so far as it enables teenagers to create and control a place of their own and hence signal their independence from adults. Conclusion The paper points to the creative, tactical agency of teenagers in response to adult strategies. It is illustrated how teenage alcohol use becomes a transformative factor for adult–teenager relationships, and in particular how teenagers rework intergenerational power differences by taking on drinking.

Résumé :
During adolescence, sleep changes physiologically and biologically. It is during this period of life that development and learning takes place. However, new teenager sleep behaviors appear. A decrease in weekly sleep time and a jet lag during weekends contribute to the deterioration of teenager’s sleep. The use of new social media plays a detrimental role, with a strong negative correlation between time spent on those and sleep time. Teenagers suffering from sleep deprivation develop well-identified consequences such as diurnal fatigue, lack of attention, more anxiety, poor self-esteem, and also an increased risk of obesity and depression. Teenage sleep is a real public health issue.

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Most portrayals in the media, research and clinical literature of teenage pregnancy and motherhood concentrate on the negative consequences for the teenager, the baby and society. Although these portrayals do capture the experience of some of the cases, they fail to grasp the complexity of these teenagers' life choices and the alternative positive impact teenage pregnancy and motherhood may have on their lives. This qualitative study focuses on the autobiographical narrative of the teenager as she experiences pregnancy and becomes a mother. The sample consists of eight participants from a rural community outside Stellenbosch, South Africa. One pre-birth interview as well as three interviews after the birth of the baby were audio taped and transcribed. Responses showed significant data with regards to the impact of the emotional experience of teenage pregnancy and motherhood on the teenager, as well as her experience of herself, changes in her life as well as the nature of the pregnancy and motherhood experience. To date, the literature does not account for the unique and individual nature of how teenage pregnancy and motherhood impacts the individual. In contrast, this research illustrates the changes in the thoughts, emotions and behaviours of teenagers when they become mothers.

Cycling is a popular transportation mode for teenagers; however, statistics show that bicyclist fatalities on minor roads are higher for teenagers (44%) as compared to older bicyclists (28%). The implementation of automated vehicles (AVs) is expected to make roads safer. Nevertheless, very few studies have focused on cyclist-AV interaction, especially on teenage cyclist population. This study examines teenagers’ perceptions on infrastructures necessary to share roads with AVs. A virtual focus group study with twenty four participants evaluated six potential traffic infrastructure designs using discussion and survey questions. Participants’ data on demographics, generic cycling behavior, and personal innovativeness were collected. Results show that participants showing risky cycling behaviors on roads were more flexible in design guidelines compared to teenagers exhibiting positive cycling behaviors. Teenagers mentioned coherent, direct, safe, and comfortable being the most important factors to design supporting infrastructures for AVs. They preferred spacious bike lanes, clear markings, clearance between cyclist and vehicle lanes, and physical barriers separating AVs and cyclists.

Résumé :
The story Tell the Truth… is part of the book el Bronx Remembered which was written by Nicholasa Mohr, the first Nuyorican woman who had her literary works published in the United States of America. El Bronx Remembered was first published in 1975 and it draws attention to the ‘Great Migration’ of Puerto Ricans to New York in the 1950s. The stories reflect the hardships of Puerto Rican migrants through the eyes of characters who are children, teenagers and young adults. The story Tell the Truth… depicts a conversation between a lawyer, Mr. Crane, and Vickie, a 13-year-old teenager. The purpose of this article is to identify the type and structure of the directive speech acts that the lawyer uses strategically in order to persuade the teenager to confess to her mother’s alleged involvement in illegal activities. Bach and Harnish’s (1979) classification of speech acts will be taken into account in the methodology, as well as Blum-Kulka and Olshtain’s (1984) description of the linguistic realization patterns of requests. Brown and Levinson’s (1987) Politeness Theory is taken into consideration, too. Supportive moves (Placencia, 2020) and hedges (Fraser, 2010) are identified in the conversation as well. Moreover, the analysis also reveals if adjacency pairs (Schegloff, 2007) are formed through the teenager’s answers. Mr. Crane uses requestives, questions and requirements in his initiating interventions. He resorts to directives in the form of yes/no questions and he also uses negations in their structure. He uses multiple directives that follow one another so as to put pressure on the teenager. The lawyer threatens the teenager’s negative face, while the teenager threatens the lawyer’s positive face. It can be noticed that he can rarely assign her the turn, so the adjacency pairs question-answer and request-granting/rejection are seldom formed. The story Tell the Truth… could be considered a story in which both characters do not tell the truth, as various speech acts infringe on the sincerity condition.

Résumé :
Over 27000 teenage births are registered in Romania annually, ranking our country on the second place in Europe after Great Britain, and the number of births in the case of teeangers under 15 years has increased up to 50% after the year 1990. This phenomenon is caused by the decrease of pubertal age on national level together with the failure of sexual education in school and family. From this point of view statistics shows that the situation becomes critical and urgent measures of rising of educational influences are required. In Romanian school sexual education is not a compulsory subject as it is in other countries. Sexuality is still a taboo topic what requires an alternative approach. The article aims to provide a model of good practices describing a site that offers online counseling to the teenagers, concerning educational topics such as sexual health. The site we are about to present offers teenagers accurate information concerning human sexuality and a forum location. We suggest a way of online counseling just to encourage teenagers to express their fears by protecting their identity. Online environment is considered to be much more accessible to young generation and the presentation of a psychological counseling model is useful. This way we hope that we will reduce school abandonment, we will prevent teenagers’ premature births and we will lower extremely high social costs taking into consideration that teenagers’ babies will be probably socially assisted by the Romanian governement. E-learning solution for teenagers’ sexual education that we suggest comes to parents and teachers’ assistance not only by the information offered but also by testing the problems they rise.

Résumé :
In the article it is shown that adolescents have difficulties in expressing their thoughts, their vocabulary is limited, they often do not know how to use expressive means when interacting with other people, often interrupting each other, as a result of which there is dissatisfaction with of communication. In interpersonal relationships, difficulties and conflicts inevitably arise, they are a natural part of our life. Difficulties in communication can lead to conflict. Most often, conflict is conceived as a serious challenge, so it is important to learn how to get out of conflict situations constructively. Through communication, teenagers build skills for interacting with people and emotional experience. In this sense, the question of knowing the most effective ways to respond to a conflict situation is relevant, especially during adolescence. Interpersonal interaction in conflict situations causes difficulties for teenagers, destructive tendencies in their relationships. Often, instead of analyzing the problem and finding the best ways to solve it, a teenager tries to intensely influence the object of the contradiction and produces actions that lead to an escalation of the conflict. This is primarily due to the lack of communication skills of teenagers.

Résumé :
Teenage pregnancy in the Dominican Republic represents a persistent development challenge. This paper uses data from a randomized impact evaluation of the youth training program Juventud y Empleo, which includes soft-skills training, to examine its impact on teenage pregnancy. We find that the program reduces the probability of teenage pregnancy by 8 percentage points (about 20 percent), particularly among teenagers who are not already mothers. The program seems to affect teenage pregnancy through improvements in soft skills and expectations, among others channels. In addition, we find that the program plays a protective role for teenagers from more deprived backgrounds.

Résumé :
This paper investigates the potential impact of extended school days in reducing teenage fertility. We study the Jornada Escolar Extendida program, which doubled the school-day length from 4 to 8 hours in the Dominican Republic, and exploit the geographic and time variation induced by its gradual implementation. We find evidence that a higher exposure to JEE in the municipality, measured as the percentage of secondary students covered by the program, reduces the incidence of teenage pregnancies, and that the effect is stronger after the program has reached at least half of secondary students in the municipality. The estimates are robust to various specifications and alternative checks. These results suggest that extended school-day policies can have spillover effects regarding teenagers fertility choices.
