Résumé :
In Education for Sustainable Development, the topic of sustainable nutrition offers an excellent learning topic as it combines the five dimensions of health, environment, economy, society, and culture, unlike most topics with a regional-global scope. The identification of existing students’ conceptions of this topic is important for the development of effective teaching and learning arrangements. This study aimed to understand students’ conceptions of sustainable nutrition and the relevance that students attribute to the five dimensions. For this purpose, we conducted semi-structured individual interviews with 10th-grade students at secondary schools in Germany (n = 46; female = 47.8%; MAge = 15.59, SD = 0.78). We found that the health dimension prevailed in students’ conceptions of sustainable nutrition; however, the more dimensions the students considered, the less importance was attached to the health dimension. The ecological dimension, in turn, became more prominent as the students’ conceptions became more elaborate. Many students neglected the social, economic, and especially the cultural dimensions. Furthermore, alternative conceptions of the terminology of sustainable nutrition, which did not correspond to the scientific concept, were identified. Students had difficulties linking the ecological, social, economic, and cultural dimensions to sustainable nutrition due to a predominant egocentric perspective on nutrition, which primarily entails focusing on one’s own body.

Résumé :
Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) consists of three dimensions known as environment, economic and social. Although these three dimensions influence each other and cannot stand on their own, and are assumed to be supportive to each other and compatible. However, most studies focus on the environmental and economic dimensions. The social dimension gains less attention and is difficult to attain and operationalize. In order to implement a balanced and successful STD, it needs to be supported by all the tourism stakeholder, including the tourist itself. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the social dimension of STDs and also tourist behavior regarding their social conscious. However, the discussions and understanding of social dimension in STD and socially conscious behavior are still limited. This study aims to define a clear understanding and definition of social dimension of STD which in this study is referred as social sustainability and also a socially conscious tourist. Starting with exploring the aspect of social dimensions formulation and exploring clear definitions of social dimensions of STD's and socially conscious tourist. This study is an exploratory study that aims to explore the boundaries of social dimension of STD and to develop a construct of socially responsible tourist. This study is a qualitative approaches, which includes systematic literature review and Delphi method to obtain expert judgment to gather social dimension aspects of sustainable development, especially in STD. The results of this study are social dimension’s aspects of STD, an understanding of social sustainability and socially conscious tourist in STD.

Abstract Sustainability is currently a global issue, population growth and damage to natural resources, and environmental quality issues. This study will evaluate the sustainability of Belawan watershed management to develop sustainable watershed management planning. Watershed sustainability evaluation uses the MDS approach with rapfish (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries) program modification to 5 dimensions and 42 attributes. From the assessment, the sustainability status of the Belawan watershed for ecological, economic, social culture, institution and legal dimensions is less sustainable. In contrast, the level of technology dimension is not sustainable. With the scenario of moderate improvement obtained, the status of sustainability ecological dimension, economic dimension, social culture dimension, and institutions legal dimension are reasonably sustainable. In contrast, the technology dimension is less sustainable. For optimistic improvement scenarios, all dimensions are reasonably sustainable. Sustainable watershed management needs to be done in an integrated manner that covers all institutions and related stakeholders.

Résumé :
Sustainable diets and sustainable food systems are increasingly explored by diverse scientific disciplines. They are also recognised by the international community and called upon to orient action towards the eradication of hunger and malnutrition and the fulfilment of sustainable development goals. The aim of the present paper is to briefly consider some of the links between these two notions in order to facilitate the operationalisation of the concept of sustainable diet. The concept of sustainable diet was defined in 2010 combining two totally different perspectives: a nutrition perspective, focused on individuals, and a global sustainability perspective, in all its dimensions: environmental, economic and social. The nutrition perspective can be easily related to health outcomes. The global sustainability perspective is more difficult to analyse directly. We propose that it be measured as the contribution of a diet to the sustainability of food systems. Such an approach, covering the three dimensions of sustainability, enables identification of interactions and interrelations between food systems and diets. It provides opportunities to find levers of change towards sustainability. Diets are both the results and the drivers of food systems. The drivers of change for those variously involved, consumers and private individuals, are different, and can be triggered by different dimensions (heath, environment, social and cultural). Combining different dimensions and reasons for change can help facilitate the transition to sustainable diets, recognising the food system's specificities. The adoption of sustainable diets can be facilitated and enabled by food systems, and by appropriate policies and incentives.

Résumé :
There is a synergistic potential between heritage and tourism which can offer a type of special interest tourism. However, despite the potential, it also brings out conflicts that result in negative socio-cultural impacts. Therefore, sustainability issues should be considered in developing heritage tourism. There are three dimensions incorporate in Sustainable Development, which are environment, economic, and social. As sustainable tourism was derived from sustainable development, thus the three dimensions of sustainable development are also applied in sustainable tourism development, especially in sustainable heritage tourism. Generally, the relationships between the three aspects of sustainable development are assumed to be compatible and mutually supportive. However, among the three dimensions of sustainable development, social sustainability is the least developed and often is proposed in relation to ecological or economic sustainability. There have been efforts to address and incorporate the social dimension of sustainability into standard setters, planners, and practitioners in many diverse areas such as forest certification, organic agriculture, conventional agriculture, urban and regional planning, corporate social and environmental management, reporting, and responsibility and fair-trade certification. However, there are still few studies of the social dimension in tourism development. To achieve sustainable tourism development, we cannot neglect the social dimension and only focuses on the economic and environmental dimensions. Social sustainability is not absolute or constant which has to be considered as a dynamic concept, which will change over time in a place. The purpose of this study exploring the key aspects of sustainable tourism development social dimension which is linked to theoretical and on how we should define and understand the fluid concept of the social dimension in tourism sustainability that can also be applied in heritage tourism. This research is using a systematic literature review to identify social dimension aspects or themes of sustainable development, sustainable tourism development, and sustainable heritage tourism. The preliminary findings show that there are few studies of the social dimension of sustainable tourism development. Therefore, it is rather difficult to obtain related articles of the social dimension, especially in the tourism subject fields. To this point, 160 works of literature were obtained and after screening, assessing, and selecting against the criteria for eligibility, there were 19 pieces of literature selected. Selected literature was reviewed to explore how the social dimension aspect in sustainable development debates is variously understood and how it constructs a social pillar. This research compiles a cross-disciplinary major theoretical concept from sustainable development, sustainable tourism development, heritage tourism, political sociology, economic theory, social theory, governance, and urban development to build a new multi-dimensional inquiry into the subject of social sustainability. Thus, this research gives a comprehension of the aspects of social sustainability which contributes to the improvement of the fluid concept of social tourism sustainability, especially in heritage tourism.

Résumé :
Abstract The researcher proposes at this time an integrated framework for developing models of transition to sustainable ecological cities, and the goal is for cities to be able to adapt and be sustainable with different conditions. The contribution of this proposed model is to propose an effective scalable framework for sustainable urban transformation of communities that addresses the gaps and limitations of existing models. It takes into account the fundamental issues of urban societies including urban, environmental, social, economic and governance perspectives. The core of this framework consists of five dimensions that must be combined in order to achieve the objective of the proposed framework. It is the urban, environmental, social, economic and governance framework. Each of them has a number of main categories in addition to a number of criteria. The model contains an additional dimension, which is the dimension of information and communication technology that will be presented as an implicit dimension that will be included in all the five main dimensions, and these six frameworks have been collected in one equation in order to build the simulation model and then obtain the results of indicators and future expectation.

Résumé :
Abstract Silvofishery ponds are aquaculture areas while maintaining their ecological functions as conservation of mangrove ecosystems. Coastal community of Semarang City is one of those that cultivate it, and the main commodity is milkfish (Chanos chanos). This research was carried out on five dimensions; ecology dimension, economic dimension, social dimension, technological dimension, and ethics dimension using the RAPFISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries) analysis method. Types of ponds developed in the design of komplangan. The level of sustainability of the silvofishery ponds management is 43.02%, with less sustainable categories in different indexes and dimensions, namely: The ecological dimension 32.02% (less sustainable), economic dimension 45.63% (less sustainable), social dimension 50.61% (entirely sustainable), technological dimension 49.77% (less sustainable), and ethics dimension 36.06% (less sustainable). The results of the leverage analysis on each dimension indicate the need to improve the management of sensitive attributes in each dimension. Sensitive indicators in Silvofishery ponds management are ecological dimension (mangrove density), dimension (market orientation), social dimension (access to use by the community), technological dimension (air circulation), ethics dimension (non-formal institutions). All measurements have a Monte Carlo value that difference is <1; therefore, the results of the Silvofishery ponds management are following the real conditions in the field.

Résumé :
The conversion of paddy fields that occurred in Tabanan district has caused concern because the number continues to increase every year. Of the various forms of agricultural land use, paddy fields are land that has undergone many changes in designation so that the conversion of paddy fields occurs rapidly and massively. The total area of ??paddy fields that decreased in the 5 years from 2016 to 2020 was 1,193.54 hectares. Seeing this phenomenon, it is important to know how the status of rice fields in Tabanan Regency is sustainable using five dimensions, namely economy, ecology, social, technology and institutional. The data were obtained through interviews with Pekaseh (kelihan subak) and farmers who carried out the conversion of paddy fields in nine subaks in nine sub-districts in Tabanan Regency, namely Pupuan, Penebel, Baturiti, Kediri, Tabanan, Kerambitan, Selemadeg, West Selemadeg, and East Selemadeg Districts. The analysis used is MDS (Multi Dimension Scaling) which is an adjustment of Rapfish using RSI TM Software (Rapid Sustainability Index) which was developed for the assessment of sustainability functions in general. The results showed that the multi-dimensional sustainability index obtained a value of 59.70 with a moderately sustainable sustainability status with the index value for each dimension being 74.56 for the ecological dimension with moderately sustainable status, 48.82 for the economic dimension with less sustainable status, 75.42 for the social dimension with sustainable status, 52.43 for the institutional dimension with moderately sustainable status and 47.25 for the technological dimension with less sustainable status. It is suggested that the local government of Tabanan Regency should to pay attention to the attributes that exist in the economic and technological dimensions so that it is expected to change its sustainability status to be quite sustainable, or sustainable and the attributes that exist in the ecological and institutional dimensions (sufficiently sustainable) can shift its status to continyu so that the value of the multi-dimensional index can increase. Résumé :
This research was conducted from July to October 2021 in Bengkalis Regency. This research is focused on evaluating in detail the condition of the ultimate fisheries from the ecological, social, economic, and institutional aspects as well as scientific information for follow-up planning and implementation of the best fisheries management in the waters of the Bengkalis Strait. The research method used during the study was a survey method. Types and sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The number of key respondents used in this study were 30 people. Sustainable fisheries management is seen from five dimensions, namely the ecological dimension, the economic dimension, the social dimension, the technological dimension and the institutional dimension. The scores for each attribute were analyzed using the Rapfish technique and will be passed through several analyzes such as multi-dimensional scaling (MDS), leverage analysis (JackKnife), and Monte Carlo analysis. Based on the results of the study the results of the catch of the terubuk fish during the period June-September amounted to 160 fish. From this amount, it showed that the percentage of male fish caught was much more dominant, namely 110 fish (69%) than 50 female fish (31%). The results of the analysis of each dimension show that the ecological index (59.92%) is included in the moderately sustainable category, the economic dimension (52.94%) is included in the moderately sustainable category, the social dimension (50.54%) is included in the moderately sustainable category, the social dimension (50.54%) is included in the moderately sustainable category. Institutional (49.91%) is included in the sustainable category and the technological dimension (70.25%) indicates the category is quite sustainable. Thus, the design of the terubuk fish management in Bengkalis waters can use the dimensions of the attributes that are classified as quite sustainable, to support or improve the institutional dimensions in order to support the management of terubuk fish

Enterprises that seek for sustainable development should align economic interests with environmental and social requirements. It is not enough to take into account just these basics components. Technology plays a significant role in company activity. The aim of this article is to highlight the relationship between the dimensions characterising sustainability and to take a deeper look at the structure of the concept of sustainability, so that to understand in more detail the completeness of the dimensions of sustainability. For achieving this aim is necessary through the analysis of researchers’ opinions to apply the logical assessment, systematisation, and comparison of information, selects the most important information describing the sustainability of technology, highlights the relationships between the technological aspect of sustainability and other sustainability dimensions, evaluates the technological processes of the corporate product in terms of sustainability, clarifies and presents arguments highlighting the importance of the technological aspect in sustainable business activity, rejects inappropriate arguments, identifies links between the arguments, and, basing on the information, proves and/or formulates anew some logical considerations to justify the full competency of the technological dimension in the sustainable development framework. Article proved that sustainable development contains the technological dimension which is added to the four classical dimensions and serves as an axis that determines the contents of other sustainability parts.

Résumé :
Research on countries’ sustainable development has called for more complete assessments of sustainability. Indeed, integrated studies coupling human and natural systems reveal new and complex patterns and processes not evident when studied in isolation. In line with the need to construct an index that takes into account a more holistic notion of sustainability, this study investigates the overall sustainable development of a metropolis through three dimensions, population, productivity and parity, and takes Singapore as a case study. We incorporate these three dimensions in our construction of a total sustainability index. We find that the population dimension has remained relatively unchanged, while the productivity dimension has gradually moved towards sustainability. The parity dimension has moved towards sustainability before 2002, but it shows ups and downs until 2012 when an upward trend toward sustainability appeared again. Results from this study imply that the government should pay attention to controlling the size of the population of temporary residents, and increasing the government budget for the environment.

Résumé :
The platform economy is growing exponentially while creating expectations for its potential to contribute to a sustainable development. However, research aimed at showing the potential contribution of each platform’s business model to sustainable development is needed. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are driving the policy agenda, but it remains unclear how far they encourage a sustainable platform economy. First, this article aims to study how each different type of platform contributes to sustainable development. Second, it analyses if and how the factors that contribute to the sustainable design of platforms are considered in SDGs. The paper departs from a framework of sustainable democratic qualities of the platform economy that considers governance, economic sustainability, technological and data policies, social responsibility, and external impact dimensions. The study is based on an empirical analysis of 60 platforms. The results show that a sustainable design of a platform economy promotes sustainable development. Furthermore, the contributions of the sustainable dimensions of a platform to SDGs are mainly connected to the impact and responsibility and the economic model, but governance and data dimensions are not present in the SDGs. This suggests that SDGs should improve their digital perspective to intertwine better with the sustainable platforms.

Résumé :
This paper aims to suggest an integration of dimensions, especially economic, social, environmental, and politics that are embedded in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within a framework called Umran. This Umranic framework hails from the idea of distinguished Muslim philosopher, historian and sociologist Ibn Khaldun, that is based on Islamic doctrines. As the present integration of the dimensions seems to be problematic, an exploration into the integration within Umranic framework is believed to be potentially a contributive endeavor. Based on an overview of literatures and a content analysis, this paper found that integrating dimensions of SDGs within the Umranic framework appears in the triangle of relationship between God, humans, and environment. This triangle exists in the form of an Islamic economic system. In this system, economic activities of natural resource utilization in various types of ownership undertake the sustainability dimension, that is the environmental protection and the promotion of equitable distribution, followed by the implementation of management of ownership and distribution rights according to Islamic rules. The pre-requisite on the part of the players is the high levels of spirituality. The application of this Islamic economic system followed by its political dimension will guarantee the achievement of SDGs even though it needs adjustment to a number of SDGs’ indicators that are not in accordance to Islamic teachings.

The main highlight in peatland resource management to date has been the weak institutional synergy directly related to peatland management. This study aims to analyze institutional synergy in sustainable peatland management in the Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu (GSK-BB) Landscape area of Bengkalis Regency. The research design used a mixed approach by combining quantitative and qualitative methods to determine the sustainability of institutional dimensions in peatland management. RAPPEAT analysis was used to analyze the sustainability index of institutional aspects. The results showed that the index and sustainability status of the institutional dimension of peatland management were categorized as less sustainable. Based on the MDS analysis, the institutional dimension only has an index of 49.8%. This result directly illustrates that peatland management in this landscape is not yet oriented towards the institutional dimension.

Résumé :
Subak is a unique irrigation system in Bali that is based on Hinduism and the philosophy of tri hita karana that consists of elements of parhyangan, pawongan, and palemahan, are three balances and harmonies that are still maintained for sustainability. This study aims to identify changes in four dimensions of subak, which may threaten its sustainability in the city of Denpasar; identify the most sensitive dimension that influences the sustainability of subak in Denpasar; as well as formulate a development model of subak that will ensure its sustainability in Denpasar. Based on MDS analysis on the changes of different dimensions of subak that threaten its sustainability in Denpasar, it is known that the “dimension of mindset” is the most sensitive in processes of sustainability of subak. Sensitivity in this context relates to the awareness of the importance of farmer's mindset as a variable to ensure the sustainability of subak, considering the mindset of farmers will determine the success of sustainability processes on existing land management. Following that result, ISM analysis was done to formulate a development model for the sustainability of subak.

Résumé :
‘Wholesome Nutrition’ is a concept of sustainable nutrition that was developed at the University of Giessen in the 1980s. In this concept, health and the ecologic, economic, social and cultural dimensions of nutrition are equally important. In 1992 at the UN-Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro the definition of ‘Sustainable Development’ comprised the dimensions environment, economy and society. Additionally to these three ‘classical’ dimensions of sustainability, we included ‘health’ as the fourth dimension because nutrition has far reaching effects on human health. The fifth dimension, ‘culture’, became part of the sustainability dialogue since many years; the respective cultural background influences food habits. Presently, mankind has to cope with huge global challenges such as poverty and food insecurity in low-income countries as well as climate change. Therefore the objective is to identify prospects for actions to respond to these global challenges. The concept of ‘Sustainable Nutrition’ analyses the food supply chain at all stages from input-production and primary production to processing, distribution, preparation, consumption and waste disposal. The present analysis leads to the following seven principles: preference of plant-based foods, organic foods, regional and seasonal products, preference of minimally processed foods, Fair Trade products, resource-saving housekeeping and enjoyable eating culture. This concept is based on holistic thinking and has the potential to reduce the global challenges in the field of nutrition. Scientists, stakeholders, multipliers and consumers are asked to consider environmental, economic, social and cultural aspects in addition to the biological (health) aspects.

Résumé :
The economic, environmental and social sustainability of Dutch dairy farms have attracted increasing societal concern in the past decades. In this paper, we propose a recently developed dynamic Luenberger indicator based on the by-production model to measure dynamic productivity growth in the economic, environmental and social dimensions of sustainability of Dutch dairy farms. Subsequently, we investigate the statistical associations between productivity growth and socio-economic factors using the OLS bootstrap regression model. We find that dairy farms have suffered a decline in dynamic sustainable productivity growth, especially in the environmental dimension where it is more pronounced than in the economic and social dimensions. Furthermore, we find that both technical and scale inefficiency change contribute to the decline of environmental productivity growth. Specialization and government support are associated with a higher economic and environmental sustainability productivity growth, and with, a decreased growth of social sustainable productivity. We found no significant association between the age of the oldest entrepreneur, financial structure, farm size or cost of advisory service and dynamic productivity growth in the three sustainability dimensions. The results provide insights into potential pathways towards improving the three pillars of sustainability.

In this study, we conduct an exploratory study with the aim to investigate whether the type of entrepreneurial activity contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in its five dimensions (people, prosperity, planet, peace, and partnership). In addition, we evaluate whether foreign direct investment (FDI) strengthens or reduces these relations. To do so, we apply a multivariate analysis to a sample of 67 countries and find that entrepreneurship contributes negatively to the achievement of SDGs. This effect is mostly due to necessity and non-innovative entrepreneurships, and is evident in the people, prosperity, and partnership dimensions. Nonetheless, FDI helps to diminish this negative effect, as it improves the relation between entrepreneurships, particularly necessity entrepreneurships, and SDG achievement. The main dimension which experiences an improvement due to FDI is people.

Résumé :
The development of sustainable green buildings (GBs) is a major contribution to the preservation of the environment. Sustainable thinking in GB construction is not a supplementary element, but rather necessary to achieve the building’s functional, economic, and environmental efficiency in order to preserve resources and meet current and future needs. In particular, developing countries can apply the idea of sustainability in GBs by following international policies and standards, combined with their local characteristics, to construct GBs that are aligned with the environment and are in line with the available local capabilities and resources. The paper focuses on the dimensions and indicators of sustainable design for GBs in developing countries to achieve the positive dimensions of building sustainability, such as preserving energy and natural resources, water management, adaptation to the surrounding environment, and respecting the needs of its users. We assess and prioritize the dimensions and indicators of GBs through the use of a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method under a neutrosophic environment. Initially, the Delphi method is employed to capture preference and to determine the dimensions and their indicators in addition to provide preference among sub-indicators. The relative importance of the selected dimensions and indicators is assessed through the analytical hierarchy method (AHP) method. The results indicate that the water efficiency dimension is the most significant, with a weight of 0.330, while the energy efficiency dimension is the least significant for GBs in developing countries, with a weight of 0.100. The paper concludes with a set of administrative implications for applying sustainable development strategies in GBs.

Résumé :
This study investigates the relationship between sustainable initiatives in hotels and their guest experiences by using big data from online guest reviews. Hotel review data of 1 018 938 hotel guest reviews from 23 international destinations were used. Word recognition software was utilised to filter reviews containing comments about sustainable initiatives resulting in a usable database of 903 reviews. Sentiment analysis was then performed to enable the transformation of the variables into 5-point Likert type scales. Using chi-squared tests and Cramer’s V for statistical and practical significance respectively, sustainable initiatives were found to have a statistical significant relationship with each of the eight hotel experience dimensions as well as overall hotel experience. The eight hotel experience dimensions are value, service, location, rooms, food, ambience, facilities and cleanliness. The hypothesis was accepted as there was a statistically significant relationship between sustainable initiatives and the hotel experience dimensions. The results from the comments, provide hotel management and academics with new insight into the relationship between sustainable initiatives in hotels and the hotel guest experience. Sustainable initiatives should be considered as another important dimension of the hotel experience, and big data analysis is effective to analyse guest reviews.

Sustainable development has three dimensions, economic, social and environmental. The three-fold dimension of sustainable development implies the consideration of the environmental issue that goes beyond mere protection of the environment since it cannot be considered separately from the economic-productive system and social needs. The circular economy operates along the same three dimensions. A central role in the successful implementation of the circular economy must necessarily be given to the enterprises. Artificial intelligence provides a powerful tool in the transition to a circular economy, acting as an instrument for innovation in the business model, by directing business activity towards sustainable capitalism, overcoming the model of capitalism aimed solely at profit.

Résumé :
The article reveals the problems of “measuring” economic dimensions of global sustainable development of modern society, improves the existing set of indicators for an adequate quantitative assessment of economic growth and develops optimal mathematical models for integrated assessment of economic dimensions of global sustainable growth. The subject matter of the study includes the most important challenges of sustainability and direction relevant to economic activities, and also the main indicators of effectiveness of public economic policy, which provide information and scientific knowledge useful for identifying key factors of development. The main significant results of using methods of mathematical modeling for building models of economic growth have been examined. The main problem of mathematical modeling of economic component of sustainable development is an adequate choice of qualitative and quantitative indications, as well as development of more complex device for mathematical and computer modeling for analyzing features of economic phenomena and economic aspects of the function of sustainable development. It is claimed that the long-running economic crisis, a growing gap in access to advantages of economic progress, age disparity in wealth, income inequality in developed countries and increasing ecological degradation due to unsustainable practices have lead to the situation when economic policies of many countries do not adequately meet the needs of public welfare and society. The authors state that the problems enumerated above along with the sluggish growth call into question the efficiency of traditional models of economic growth. In addition, it is indicated that geopolitical tension and unstable currency are slowing down economic growth. The study provides a correlation analysis, factor analysis (principal component method), discriminant analysis (developing classification functions), and data mining (classification trees). A factor model for the quantitative assessment of economic component of sustainable development has been developed. A country classification by economic growth indicators is developed and the results are presented as a tree solution. An optimal discriminant model for building classification functions of country allocation by the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) is constructed. This index is one of the basic dimensions of a long-term economic growth relevant to analyzed economic indicators of sustainable development. It is found that GCI is an adequate dimension of economic component of global sustainable development. The Global Talent Competitiveness Index, ICT Access Index and Corruption Perception Index are the most significant for country allocation by its levels

Sustainability is the use of existing resources without compromising them for future generations. Resources must be guaranteed in the environmental, economic, and social dimensions. Sustainable Software Engineering is an emerging research field aiming to minimize software development's negative impacts on society. Furthermore, software sustainability can be defined as a way of keeping something running at a certain level of quality in relation to these dimensions. From the social dimension perspective, it is necessary to confirm software's trade-offs, benefits, and impacts on society since it lacks empirical evidence of its achievements in software. In this research thesis, we will explore how the literature addresses the aspect of social sustainability during software development and understand how social sustainability approaches can be integrated into the context of agile software development. In the end, we expect to have a set of guidelines, activities, and practices that can be adopted by agile teams.

Résumé :
The main feature of the new economic era is the use of network technology, information technology and other economic material means, under the guidance of the age of knowledge, the scientific and technological force as an important productivity of social and economic development. At present, China has entered an era of rapid economic development, and all sectors of society pay more and more attention to human resource management, which provides support for the sustainable development of enterprises. Sustainable human resource management (Sustainable HRM) refers to ideas and practices of human resource management that can bring long-term competitive advantages to organizations, by enabling them to achieve sustainable economic, social, and environmental development. This paper aims to explore the dimension of Sustainable HRM and develop the measure scale and test the construct validation. Based on the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the researchers conducted qualitative interviews and also used open questionnaires with 103 corporate managers and employees to obtain their insights on the significance, structure, and ingredients of sustainable HRM under the background of emerging economies. Previous research in the field along with the interview and questionnaire responses were coded and analyzed in order to prepare a preliminary, 25-item scale for measuring sustainable methods of HRM. This initial scale was tested in a study involving 243 participants, and exploratory factor analysis was used to assess the results. The findings shows that sustainable HRM has two dimensions, named sustainable HRM ideas and practice. An adjusted scale was created for measuring two dimensions of sustainable HRM: namely, the ideas (7 items) and practices (5 items) of sustainable HRM. This study finds that sustainable HRM has two dimensions: principles or ideas of sustainable HRM and practice of sustainable HRM. The scale is intended to provide a reference point for attempts to expand sustainable HRM, by clarifying directions for research on and development of sustainable HRM. The two-dimensional scale of sustainable HRM developed in this study can prompt companies to pay equal attention to “knowledge” and “action”, and to implement the concept of sustainable HRM into HRM policies. Along both dimensions, the reliability and validity of the adjusted scale have reached a good level, and confirmatory factor analysis supports the structural validity of the scale.

Résumé :
Abstract The objective of this work is to evaluate the full potential, since include technic-economic & environmental & social & policy dimensions, of the benefits of applying a demand side energy resource for considering for implementation of an energy efficiency project. Methodologically, this assessment was made by establishing values for energy resources in attributes and sub-attributes in the four different dimensions of the Integrated Resources Planning, which are: environmental dimension, social dimension, political dimension, and economic-technical dimension. The analysis of the energy efficiency project in four different perspectives makes this work innovative, most of the papers found in the academy does not consider the four dimensions studied here. The accounting of the full potential is also considered within this methodology, which makes it possible to evaluate its benefits in traditional and economic-technical aspects, as well as the dimensions of sustainable development. A case study was also developed on the replacement of traditional lamps for LED lamps in higher education institution. Results showed a decrease in CO2 emission in the atmosphere of 11.94 tons, the creation of 21 temporally job positions, reduction in the release of 52g of mercury in the environment and an injection of nearly 2 million dollars into the economy. Therefore, it was systematically proved that the benefits of the energy efficiency evaluated in the four dimensions increase sustainable development to all of society. With this work it is possible to concluded that all the society is impacted in different aspects after the implementation of an energy efficiency project in an energy consumer company e not only these companies

Résumé :
The present study aims at analysing the sustainable growth in the agro-food cooperatives of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). To this end, the study examines the impact of the corporate social responsibility (hereinafter CSR) on the performance of the agro-food cooperatives. CSR is analysed based on the three dimensions suggested by the triple bottom line approach: Economic dimension, social dimension, and environmental dimension. Results are analysed using a partial least squares regression (PLS-SEM). The main contributions are as follows: (1) The measurement of the CSR through the triple bottom line approach has proven to be appropriate for the agro-food cooperatives of Castilla-la Mancha, as it presents adequate values of reliability and validity; (2) these dimensions make up the CSR, although the environmental dimension is the most relevant one for the agro-food cooperatives of Castilla-La Mancha; and (3) CSR positively and significantly affects the performance of agro-food cooperatives, as it explains 39.2% of their variance, thus confirming a sustainable growth model for the agro-food cooperatives of Castilla-La Mancha.

Résumé :
Sustainable development has become an universal phrase and the area of many policy initiatives, especially those regarding environmental organizations. The revision of the dimensions of sustainable development gives vital support to develop and implement indicators for them. The dimensions of sustainable development are inseparable and mutually reinforcing. Sustainable development actions depend on complexity and working with different interests of environment and development. It is impossible to predict what needs future generations will have. The obligation of the current generation is both to use and protect the world resources in ways that meet human development opportunities more justifiably today, but which do not exclude choices for such actions tomorrow. The aim of the research is to analyse the dimensions of sustainable development. More deeply, the research tasks are to outline the hierarchical organization of sustainable development criteria and indicators and to create a new paradigm of sustainable development dimensions. The methods of research are monographic, quantitative, deductive, and inductive. The key result: a new paradigm of sustainable development dimensions is created. Sustainable development is a concept, possibly surrounding closely every aspect of human society. The meaning of the dimensions of sustainable development is all the time in progress. There is a new approach to the dimensions given in the research. Sustainability could be understood better in terms of “here and now”, “later” and “elsewhere”. The existence of sustainability criteria guarantees sustainability in the long perspective. It can be suggested that the sustainability criteria analysis and their practical use could be further developed.

Résumé :
This study proposes the use of consistent fuzzy preference relations to evaluate the structure of hotel sustainable business model (HSBM) dimensions and the corresponding hierarchy of evaluation indicators, and predict the overall probability of success. As fuzzy preference relations require, a group of hotel professionals in Taiwan was asked to process pairwise comparisons using linguistic variables to determine the weights of dimensions and indicators. According to the results, finances were found to be the most important dimension, followed by human capital. The number of local cultural events in the hotel was identified as the most important indicator. The predictive values revealed the possibility for successful HSBM implementation, shedding light on the vision of sustainability for the hotel industry. The results of the present study contribute to the literature on sustainability by determining the importance and weights of dimensions and indicators for hotel business models, providing an example of the use of this strategic tool in generating and modifying sustainable business models for the hotel industry.

Résumé :
Sustainable development refers to agricultural and industrial activities and the understanding of sustainability assumes greater complexity, which requires economic, social, environmental, institutional, technological, cultural and geographical emphasis to be considered, because what is sustainable for one region may not be for another. The article aims to show methodological criteria for the construction of the Global Sustainability Index (GSI) and its importance in the evaluation of public policies of sustainable milk production in contemporary times. The methodology considers the economic, social, environmental, institutional and technological dimensions, for better assessing the sustainable of economically active activities. The survey took place in Rondônia with 400 dairy farmers, where we obtained the GSI that achieved average sustainability, GSI = 0.42. The economic dimension presented an index of 0.52, being the most sustainable among the analyzed dimensions. Following the decreasing order, comes the social and environmental, with average sustainability of 0.44 and 0.41, and, with low sustainability, was the technological dimension, which showed an index of 0.39, and, the institutional with 0.32 decimal points of sustainability. This result indicates the need for political and technological efforts for better performance in the sector.

Résumé :
Purpose – The purpose of this article is to build on the original Dunphy, Griffiths and Benn (2007) model by proposing a new model of organisational sustainability which includes the economic dimension. There is a growing level of interest by senior executives in the role and potential impact that sustainability will have on their organisation’s future strategy and structure. Although management is keenly aware that sustainability is important in their future planning, there is much uncertainty about what level of involvement and commitment they should make towards sustainability endeavours. Design/methodology/approach – This article reviews the existing organisational sustainability change model while building a case to have the important economic strand added to the original change dimensions relating to the human and the environmental strands. Findings – This conceptual paper builds on previous work of sustainability organisational change theorists to produce an enhanced sustainability change model thus proposing a more comprehensive and integrated sustainability stage model that can guide managers in their quest to evolve effective and more sustainable organisations. Originality/value – This is a conceptual paper that builds on previous work of sustainability organisational change theorists to introduce an enhanced sustainability change model that includes the important economic dimension to the widely accepted social and environmental dimensions, thus proposing a comprehensive and integrated sustainability stage model that can guide managers in their quest to evolve effective and more sustainable organisations.
